The world was black. All she felt was sheer nothingness. It was like she was floating in a sheer black of pure insignificance. Were was she? She felt different. Strange. Like something was flowing through her body which such a gentle strength. She had to open her eyes. She had to wake up! Her eyes opened to such a bright pure light.
She was laying on the soft grass in the middle of such a strange town. Her long pink hair flowed down and laid sprawled out almost in a wide but elegance sense. She scanned the area with her crimson eyes full of wonder but a little fear. She blinked a little as she looked down at herself. Her body looked just like her but yet it was slightly different. She felt like something was off, stronger but yet strange. Her clothes were something different, that is for sure. A white dress that felt like leather that ended just above her knees. On her feet were leather boots that stopped at her ankles and on her hands where finger-less gloves that barely covered her palms.
She stood up and looked around the city. Where was she? The last thing she remembered was logging into Elder Tale. Wait, was this Elder Tale? She crossed her arms almost hugging herself causing her breasts to pop a little as she looked around. Her boots made a crunching sound as she walked the dirt roads just like they would in the real world. "Is this real? Or am I really in the game?" She thought to herself. She walked down the road as her hair and dressed flowed with the gentle breeze.
The feeling of the flow through her body, was that her magic power. She did select a druid class. She noticed something hanging from her hip and realized something to prove she was in the game. Her leather whip, the weapon she selected at the start.
"This can't be real." She said out loud. "I only just logged in, but I don't see my computer or desk anywhere. How did I end up here? This couldn't be the Therapist's doing. Remain calm, Raina. It will be ok, find someone to tell you what is going on." She continued. "Hello? Can anyone tell me what is going on here?" She looked out hoping to find another player or someone who has some information. The world here looked so magnificent. Was it real or pixels? No, it couldn't be pixels as it felt so real. The gentle breeze that caressed her skin and the strong light that sparkled against the water and sky. This had to be real. What happened to the game? Was it a new update, or did someone trap her here?
She felt the light caress her sun kissed skin and it was warm and loving, almost like the warmth you would feel with your beloved. She stretched and yawned cutely as she looked up to the sky. "This won't be so bad, even if I am trapped here."

Keyala looked around, things had certainly changed, touching her hands to her head, she tapped blindly around, before stumbling upon something new, ears, the same color as her red hair and furry. They were the ears of a fox, and with that, her mind clicked to what had happened. She smiled, as something she had always thought impossible at happened, she was transported into a game, and transformed. Her new tail began to idly wag behind her, to her surprise. The red fox tail was new to her as well. She was wearing brown, hooded robes, with a way for her tail to stick out and wag freely, making it even harder to hide her emotions, at least until she figured out how to control her tail. She closed her eyes, letting herself settle into her new body as she took her first step, opening her eyes and raising her hand, instinctively opening a status menu and examining her stats "So I'm magic now, eh? Good...that means I have power, which means this is a world I can leave my mark on. Time to learn to fight I suppose, maybe find a few other mages, gather a party, that'd be fun" she thinks to herself, surprisingly upbeat for finding herself trapped in a game, she hears the voice of Raina calling out, thinking to herself that Raina would make a perfect start, and making friends would be her best option.
Keyala would slink up next to her, rather silently, a sly, fox-like smirk crossed her face, perhaps as a result of her new fox-tail nature, her tail idly wagged behind her, lightly impacting her robes as she approached Raina, pacing up right against her side, turning around right in front of Raina, her fox tail somewhat wrapping around Raina's lower torso "Hello there dear...you seem a little lost, a Ritual like you? You should be wise and strong, we are in a new world here miss, so why not reinvent ourselves as our races are, hmm?" she says, keeping her fox like smirk as she takes a small movement closer to Raina, clearly something she never would have done in real life "Regardless, I'm Keyala, the fox-tail summoner. With my Golem Rose, my Harpy, and my Phantom, I am an elemental summoner, or so I've titled myself. What about you? What's your name, what class are you? I'm sorry I'm so curious, this world and probably this race have that effect on me" she says, giggling in a surprisingly girlish manner as she paces back, her fox tail running along Raina until she is far enough away, she curiously tilts her head, putting her arms behind her back

The gentle breeze blew her hair behind her and she breathed in easy. "Maybe it won't be so bad for me." She thought. She smiled as continued to stretch. She should of paid a little more attention, she did not even hear the footsteps of the fox behind her. The tail wrapped around her lower torso and she shivered and freaked a little. "Ah!!!!! What! Who! Get away!" She screamed out as the tail wrapped around her. She spoke of her race and how she should be wise and strong and then even spoke of reinventing herself. The girl with the fox features moved so close to her that Raina's face lit up with a deep crimson blush.
"I.. I... I am sorry! I.. just woke... woke up here. Please, do you know what is going on? Why.. why can I not log out. I am scared but also kind of intrigued at the same time. Is this really Elder Tale? Are we really in here? I just now logged into this game, but I can tell something is off." The fox girl sure was a casual one. She didn't seem like an enemy. "I am Raina Scylar, a Ritual Druid and I guess a noob. How you played this game long?" She said as she flipped her hair behind her. "Any idea why we are trapped? And.. could you please unwrap you tail, it is a little odd to be constricted like this." She continued as she tried to wiggle free.

"Well, this server just launched, so I haven't been here, but I've played games for a long, long time." she says as she takes a small step back, allowing her tail to rest idly behind herself "We all woke up here, I doubt anyone has the answer we're looking for, eh? And it's not like they'd just tell us if they did, I mean...this is a major feat, locking people in a game! And it looks like all the mechanics work, watch!" she says, opening her status menu and equipping her staff, raising it in the air with one hand as she clicks with her free hand "Summon Follower: Harpy!" She proclaims to no one in particular, as she goes through an automated motion, with a harpy appearing a foot to the left of Keyala. The bird woman appears as real as anything around, with a rather towering gaze, she makes the short fox-tail girl seem intimidating, which is a feat that not many could accomplish, she gives a small nod to the Harpy "Go fly around a bit for me, I'll take your eye sight in a minute so I can know what's going on, sounds solid right? Alright, get to it!" she orders with confidence, as the harpy takes to the sky, leaving the two alone again "I'm digging this whole Summoner thing, what about you, what can a Cleric do?" she says, tilting her head curiously once more, giving her same sly fox smirk as before, putting her hands behind her back, holding her staff there.

It was a little down heartening to learn that no one probably knew what was going on. At least she made a friend as soon as she got here. The harpy was amazing and beautiful, a stunning feathered warrior. She flew with such ferocity but yet gentle agility. Could this fox lady really take on the harpy's eye sight? "That is amazing, she looks so real, this is amazing. Even stuck in this world has its advantages. Oh, and I'm a druid not a cleric. Clerics are more tankier I suppose, I'm more of a spell slinger and healing type. I don't think I really have anything as flashy as you do sadly." She said as she crossed her arms and pouted a little.
"Don't worry though! I'm sure I'll be of use!" She said as she perked up and smiled wide. This girl seemed a okay with the whole being stuck in a game situation so maybe it will not be as bad as Raina assumed. "So, what do you remember after you logged in? I can only remember darkness, pitch black nothingness. Maybe this was some kind of glitch in the system? Or maybe a new update, what do you think?" Raina continued as she tilted her head to the side. "Maybe we can find out some information together, could we team up? My class is more support based anyway, and to be honest, I'm a little scared to go out alone by myself." She said as her eyes closed halfway.

"Well I mean...I guess that a simple glitch or a new update alone would drag us physically into the game...I doubt our household computers have the magical power to suddenly drag us into the world of Elder Tale...I mean, mine was only half decent on government WiFi...so that couldn't be it. It had to be some sort of insane phenomena that we can't understand or fathom just with our imaginations. We have a whole new world to discover and explore! With unheard of lands and situations! We could discover amazing things, we could become kings and queens! We could become Archemages and great Druids! We could found guilds and kingdoms! Maybe next time we run into each other we could be in a guild! For now, lets fight, but first, let me take a look around. Eye in the Sky!" she calls out her skill, one eye closing as it takes the view of her Harpy, which by now has begun to explore Londinium for the first time "Lets see...it looks exactly like London, but overrun with vegetation, I think we could head out into the woods and fight some creatures in there. if you keep me supplied with mana my Golem should be able to take out low level mobs pretty easily. Or if you have any sort of offensive spells, or wanna use that whip, that'd be good. What sub classes are you by the way? I'm sigilmaker and scribe. So my classes involve a lot of writing and map making I guess, so my Harpy will be useful...maybe I should name her, that'd be nice. Any suggestions?" the fox girl says, rather excitedly, taking a small step closer, keeping one eye open as she smirks, tail wagging from side to side, giving her the appearance of a real fox.

A rapid tapping of sprinting feet on cobblestone was heard nearby. The sound was drawing ever more loudly as a handsome man approached the two girls. He drew a sword from the sheath resting on his left hip, standing sideways in a stance ready for battle. He looked around, looking for anything that may be a cause of trouble. "I heard a shout and came running as quickly as I could. Is something wrong?" The man had less of an authoritative tone, like a vigilante, and more of a tone resembling that of an aspiring hero, seeking to save someone in danger. The man had a handsome face with smooth, beautiful black hair that, in the back, flowed down in a ponytail. This man had a sort of air to him, like that of a samurai warrior. Ready to jump into trouble and risk his safety to guarantee the safety of others, but not blood lustful. "Everything seems to be all right... I hope I was not too late." The man sheathed his sword back in the scabbard on his left hip before putting his hand over his heart and bowing. "Dumah Iino, Swashbuckler. It is a pleasure to meet you both; I hope I did not startle either of you with my sudden appearance."

Raina blushed as the fox girl talked about plans with her! "My first friend. " She thought to herself. "I would like that very much! And I don't know maybe it is a new feature or something. Either way, It is strange. I am actually happy to be here. And I will become the best Druid out there!" She said all excitedly and twirls around. She heard the quick steps of the attractive man run up the them with his blade drawn. He was definitely a nice looking warrior, with long, flowing dark hair. She instantly blushed as he spoke to them. "Oh! We are ok! Sorry I just got a little scared. I just woke up here. I'm Raina Lynna Dawne Scylar, a Ritual Druid. Who might you be?" She continued with a wide smile on her face.
The girl felt her heart palpitate in her chest. Why was she feeling like this? What was it? She had never experienced anything like this before. Her face was cute with the crimson blush sprayed across it. She started playing with her flowing pink hair and hugged herself sweetly. It was almost endearing how sweet and adorable she looked as she fidgeted. She tried to hide the embarrassment from her face but it was quite obvious she was basically smitten. She looked at the fox girl and stuttered out, "I.. I think.. think you should call your harpy, Siren, based of the greek... greek sirens of lore. What do you think?" She managed to breathe out the words she thought in her mind. She hoped her new friend would like the name she picked out.

"Oh? Well you know what the lore of Sirens is, correct? Sirens would lead Sailors to their death, as their songs were considered so beautiful, and the men had not seen women in so long. They looked beautiful, but were actually horrific creatures. Some people believe that sailors would drown in reality because they would mistake some creature or a rock for a woman." she smirks, looking over to Dumah, shifting her eyes between both of the new arrivals, her devious fox like smirk continues to spread, leaning herself forward slightly and pacing around behind Raina, leaning over her shoulder to speak to Dumah "Why hello there Dumah, my name is Keyala, Summoner, Scribe, general bad ass, and a foxtail through and through. Don't worry about the sword, Siren would have swooped down and gotten you." she says as she opens her left eye, blinking it a few times as she cancels her eye in the sky spell, looking up to the sky for a brief moment and speaking "Come on down my summon!" and a few moments later, her summon begins it's descent. The beautiful, silent, warrior bird woman would land next to Keyala, rather close to Raina, possibly startling her. In the likely chaos that ensues for a few seconds at the sight of this strange bird woman landing, Keyala whispers to Raina "You see something you like over there, hmm? Why waste time? Go for it, we only live for so long, do we not? Why should we not pursue what we want? If we wait, it won't be there any longer. So dear, go for it." she would take a few steps back, before bounding over to Siren, her harpy, wrapping her tail around her harpy's hip, looking rather innocent. This fox tail is certainly a curious sight.

Ow. So much ow.
Whether it was overestimating himself, underestimating the mobs he had faced, or some combination of both, Raze was hurting. Bad. And the weirdest part was, it actually hurt. That was enough to let you know this wasn't just a game. Going for realism was one thing, but what game developer, save a sadistic psycho, would wilfully make a wound actually hurt like a wound? It made no sense, barring the conclusion that this was no mere game. Stumbling back to town, he would slump against the trees and the walls every now and then, before continuing forward. Being level one again sucked. Hard. And the fact that he couldn't rely on the same calm, detached, chessmaster view he was used to - considering he was now the character - meant he had made mistakes he never would have made had he been playing a game, rather than... whatever this was. Real life, apparently, now.
The city at least was a little calmer, and with the massive claw-gashes through his armor and ruffled hair, combined with all the weakened stumbling, Raze looked like he had either taken a massive beating, which he had, or was a shameless drunkard who had just had the best night ever, which would have been significantly more entertaining but was unfortunately untrue. The mechanics of the game still seemed to work, so he wasn't entirely out of the loop, but the way they functioned was vastly different when you consider the disorientation of having to function as the character rather than as a seemingly god-like pupeteer pulling the strings from a position of untouchable distance. Mind and body were one now, so that detachment, that calculation, was significantly more difficult now, especially considering the impact that his Berserk had on his psyche now.
Raze gave a small smile as he noticed what seemed to be one of the healing classes: A druid. She was with three- four- others, one of which was a feathered harpy, most likely a summon, but Raze was more interested in the one who could make the ow go away. "Hello." he said, his voice groggy and pained, very much unlike his normal deep, graceful tone, lifting a single hand up with a pointed finger. "I would like to order one un-pain-thingy. To go, please." Aaaaand WHOMP. Just as he ended speaking the groggily swaying Swashbuckler fell face-first into the grass right at the druid's feet.
So much for first impressions.
