This world had moments of pure and unadulterated fun, moments when you forgot about your plight and for those seconds or minutes this was not some horrible evil trick of fate... Moments when you felt your adrenaline running and pulse pounding as your bounced around as you faced off against a creature that you would have never in your life fought before... This was not that moment... Celebrimbor hated the moment he felt bound in... He was essentially homeless as sleeping in an inn really was not a home... He wanted to have a place to call home to focus on his blades... yet he had none sure he had been able to sneak time in with one of the local forges that allowed for community use... but it just wasn't the same as having your own. A sigh came to his lips as he brushed away the screen that told him how much the particular building he was looking at would cost him as he sighed and walked away. He figured he could go and do some hunting but really he did not want to see another boar or a slime at the moment. He could go and browse the market but he really didn't feel like dealing with people at all. His mood, as it might have happened did in fact effect the attention he was paying, sure he was light on his feet and quick but that helped not at all when one sulked about in his armor and paid more attention to the texture and feel of the Cobblestones under his feet than wear he was walking. So one would think it was rather bound to happen eventually... He ran into a someone... literally and full blown tried to walk through another individual without breaking step or trying to slow... Thunk... Thunk... Thunk... The tip of Elliot's staff smacked down upon the cobblestone street. It was so strange. He could still scarcely believe what had happened. He was in London, but it wasn't HIS London. How he had gone from promising ethnologist in training to one of the animistic roles he had studied in an instant was beyond him. Still, he would make the most of it. The surprising part was behind him, right? It had to be. What else could be thrown at him that could trump being sucked into a video game? Apparently an intense pain in his hindquarters... "Gah!" He hissed quietly. He lifted his gaze and looked at his surroundings. Apparently he had just been bowled over by a red-haired man. He rose, using his staff to help support his weight. 'At least it is useful for something...' he mused, looking at the man with whom he had collided. Judging from both of their sizes, the other probably didn't enjoy their abrupt meeting any more than he did. "You all right, mate?" He asked, extending a hand if the other man wanted it. Despite their being in the heart of London, the streets were almost bare. It was a wonder they had been able to knock into each other the way they did. "Sorry, I wasn't paying much attention. This is all still... it's still very new." He sighed. He wasn't losing his stuffing any more, but he wasn't exactly chuffed to bits about being in the database. Word Count: 252

How he missed the sounds of the staff would forever haunt him... Either way he had bowled into the man like some kind of human missile leading to a rather artistic and graceful tumble to the cobblestones that had been under foot and now for a moment seemed to be under face. Truthfully it was hardly graceful... and was rather less than artistic but he preferred to view the actions as such and who would argue when a pair of sword might come out at the slight... okay probably not... though running away was still an option... and it was always such a good option. Alas it was to late for such an option as the man for it was a man that he had seemed to run into. "You all right, mate? Sorry, I wasn't paying much attention. This is all still... it's still very new." He laughed at that... were not the lot of them at least a little new to this whole living in a game thing. Either way he did not take the offered hand... yes propriety said he should but he just did not as a rule trust people or really spend any more time near them as he could. He was capable of functioning in a group he just preferred to avoid such entanglements. Yet running over an innocent caster was so careless of him. “I'm fine though I think the lot of us are pretty new... arguably though some level quicker than others of us...” He stated, not that he really wanted a conversation he would rather flee but that was rather rude and he was raised better than that. He knew how to be a gentleman and how to use his manners and was not so much shy as preferring to avoid attachment and conversation... it was defensive really though he guessed living in a game was either better or worse than what he used to do. “Were you looking for anything in particular?” He inquired not really sure where to really go in regards to a conversation... Elliot nodded and withdrew his hand as the other man refused to grasp it. He didn't allow his face to change however, and continued, the picture of courteous civility. He assumed the other was a Londoner, so there wouldn't be too much of a difference when it came to customs. The other man refusing to take his hand even on the grounds of simply being stunned after running into someone else was more than enough for Elliot not to make a fuss out of things. "Ha... I suppose you're right." He chuckled mirthlessly. "It is good to know that I'm not crazy or alone in this though. I'd rather be with other people than to be THIS mad." As much as it pained him to say it, it was the truth. He'd rather be surrounded by people in the same boat than be the only one wandering around feeling like things had sent him top over bottom. As the other asked him what he wanted, he had to laugh. "I honestly don't know. I mean an explanation, for sure, but I think that is all of us. What I wanted when I signed in was a few moments of peace before I went to bed the night before an exam. I guess what I want now is to learn. To learn how to defend myself, to learn about this world, and to learn how to best survive." He paused a minute before repeating the man's question back at him. It was only fair, plus, he was genuinely curious. The more they could find out, the more power and advantage they had. He motioned to a nearby bench, though in hindsight, he realized that neither of them would likely sit. They were strangers, and at least one of their bums hurt fairly badly. "By the way, my name is Elliot." he said, suddenly aware that they had been speaking for a few moments now and had no clue as to who the other was. Though neither seemed keen on other people, strange times called for stranger measures. He winced as he shifted his weight, the impact from falling having done some damage. It was only as he straightened back up that he caught a glance of what must have been his health bar. It had lost about a tenth in his tumble.

Accent wise it was touch to really place Celebrimbor. He had lived in more places than he might wish to remember having taken classes in Russia, England... London more precisely, Japan and in the United States. Blame a politician mother but he still loved the woman. She had done right by him and for that he respected and would do anything for her even if he would prefer to have her at home rather than moving around the globe. That hardly mattered in the long term of things as he considered the world and what he had left behind. He had learned to fight rather quickly and had journeyed out of the city more than once in order to earn money and level both. "Ha... I suppose you're right. It is good to know that I'm not crazy or alone in this though. I'd rather be with other people than to be THIS mad." It was a thought he had when he first woke up... but really he preferred this kind of world... it was in a word simpler than where he was from. It was why he had likely adapted as quickly as he had though he figured casters might have it harder. One could use a sword in day to day life if they wanted to and frankly in making them in the real world he had learned a little about how to use them as well... not a lot but some. He did wonder if some people just wouldn't be able to adapt at all or would try to leave in some manner or another. How many people might be killing themselves to try and escape and what would be left if and when they gave up... It was very much worth the question to think about it... Humans were adaptive by nature but... Not all of them were suited to this life... "I honestly don't know. I mean an explanation, for sure, but I think that is all of us. What I wanted when I signed in was a few moments of peace before I went to bed the night before an exam. I guess what I want now is to learn. To learn how to defend myself, to learn about this world, and to learn how to best survive." A good question, it depended on what kind of answer he wanted...the easiest way would be to hunt and gain power... to learn to turn your powers into benefit... to make this place your home and make use of it as well as you could regardless of how it all worked. Then again not everyone adapted as well as he did... though he guessed not everyone had to adapt to changing environments as often as he had in his life. "By the way, my name is Elliot." Of course then their was the return... what did he want... to be known far and wide as the greatest blade crafter of the land... or was their something more that he might desire in this world. He was hardly sure as he mulled it over... The goal in making this character was to make a character that could make the three elvish rings... which would be entertaining in all honesty. But possible he was not entirely sure at the moment. “Become the crafter of items that will will spread the name of Celebrimbor across the land... beyond that I figure there is no reason not to seek out adventure and live in this world as I would have in any other place like this in all the games I have played... Though I guess the real place to start might be to teach you to fight... if you have not already figured it out you actually don’t have to rely on menus” He stated rather simply, he had figure that out when he used a menu to jump and ended up in a puddle of who knew what... other than it did not smell like water. Nope he figured out that the system... the world whatever would help him perform the moves he just had to start them and think of them before it would perform them... Word Count: 700

HP/-------------- MP/---------------- Elliot shivered slightly as a breeze cut through the chainmail he was wearing. It was so strange when he thought about it, and he couldn't help but do so. He was actually FEELING the wind blow in a video game. Sure, the virtual had become actual reality, but the mental separation was still strong. He was in Elder Tale and he could smell the flowers, feel the wind, taste the food (though that had been quite awful), and he could see the feral beauty of an England long-since overgrown. The more he thought about it, the less worried he became. Sure, he still had his doubts, but once the shock had started to wane, it became more and more exciting. He had spoken truly when he said he wanted to learn. He had already decided to put his education to use, to study the world of Elder Tale in order to document not only his experience, but also a brand new culture that was only just beginning. He was in on the ground floor of an entire new frontier! Refocusing, he shifted his gaze to the other man just as he began to answer his question. His introduction was included, or so Elliot assumed. Why would he be setting out to make a name if not for himself? If he was correct in that assumption, it would seem that the great J. R. R. Tolkien had two fans in one square. 'He has given himself an elvish name.' He thought, stifling a chuckle and wondering how many people other than himself knew the reference. "Are rings among the items you wish to craft, O Silver Fist?" he asked, a small smirk tugging at the right of his lips. If the other was acquainted with Middle Earth, he would know of what he spoke. He was also interested in the other's approach to their current state. He seemed a kinesthetic learner, someone who thrived in getting his hands on concepts rather than simply seeing or hearing them. He sounded as if he had decided to conquer the whole of the realm. Elliot nodded his head. Learning to fight would not be a bad idea, after all, it was fairly necessary to one's survival and even further, flourishing. "I had noticed that, yes. I haven't actually fought anything yet, but I did notice that with the interface and certain item menus, I have need only to think and they do as I wish. I assumed that it applied to combat as well, but as a shaman, I would be at quite the disadvantage in most attempts at soloing." He said, trailing off a little. He knew his abilities were useful, but until he got a little stronger, going anywhere alone was not safe and he needed to take someone with him. Perhaps Celebrimbor would be willing to party up, at least for a moment. It sounded like he was, and it was certainly worth a try. "Would you actually be interested in going monster hunting together? I'm not much at outright healing, but I've got a couple of barriers and a familiar that I can summon to absorb damage and draw aggro." He asked, concentrating and sending the other a party invite with minimal squinting and a flick of the wrist. He was getting the interface navigation down fairly well, now it would seem combat needed a go. He rummaged around in his pack for a few moments, looking to see if he had anything that would be of any help to either of them, but to no avail. All he had was the same bit of stuff that everyone else did, and it seemed that perhaps Celebrimbor was getting beyond such things anyway. Another breeze began to blow and as it did, he noticed that his health bar had gone back up, the health he had lost from their collision having replenished over time. It was certainly interesting to him to see the different types of people who were trapped alongside him. People who were still panicking, people like himself who were excited but still very unsure, and then there were people like Celebrimbor who seemed to be grabbing the bull by the horns as it were. Each person was different and each person was contributing to a new aspect of the budding culture of Elder Tale...

| SINCE I WAS VERY YOUNG, I REALIZED I NEVER WANTED TO BE HUMAN SIZE | | Since this whole mess started she had been witness to several amusing events. It was painful to watch as the two of them ended up smashing head long into each other however. This was the first time she had ever seen two adventurers train wreck by running into one another. Of course she only noticed this due to her habit of people watching when there was a break in the action. Her guild had gone silent for quite some time now and she decided to strike out and work with other people.
As she watched the two of them stand and begin a conversation she wondered exactly what the exchange might be. Normally people were very irritable with one another whenever something went wrong in this new world. Yet these two seemed to be talking with one another at length and there was some smirking involved. That was when she decided to become nosey and make her way over to see what was going on.
As she got within ear shot she heard the terms "Monster Hunting" and "Soloing" used by one of them. Her ears perked up as she instantly became excited by the prospect of getting back out there again. Sure she was a bit higher than the monsters they would hunt but she had not done this since she changed classes. Waving her arms now wildly to become noticed, the tiny druid beamed brightly at the two.

"Are rings among the items you wish to craft, O Silver Fist?" It was not a question he had expected... oh sure he figured that eventually someone would know the namesake that he had chosen. But for the most part it was thought that Sauron had made all the rings which was not even close to true... no he had tricked the elves into making the rings of power and corrupted them in their creation. Celebrimbor had made his three without letting the dark lord touch them saving them from his direct corruption... though with them still being made through his teaching the rings themselves were swayed by the One rings power regardless. “In time I may well just seek to forge the three... Not many know the reference or what it means.” He replied casually, it was true in the time that he had been in this world... not a single person had known why he named his character what he did though perhaps a caster might have been more suited for it all. He did so prefer his swords though. He quickly brushed the thought off finding in this person one that might be like himself... after all who else would know such things of Middle Earth but another person fond of the writings of J.R.R. Tolkien. "I had noticed that, yes. I haven't actually fought anything yet, but I did notice that with the interface and certain item menus, I have need only to think and they do as I wish. I assumed that it applied to combat as well, but as a shaman, I would be at quite the disadvantage in most attempts at soloing. Would you actually be interested in going monster hunting together? I'm not much at outright healing, but I've got a couple of barriers and a familiar that I can summon to absorb damage and draw aggro." That could be true, depending upon the build one had chosen... His own build was a range of things he had skills that would work well in a chain and others that simply helped him to move around. Movement itself was only aided by him being an acrobat. And what he was offering made some logical sense. If they partied they would be able to support each other and that would make any combat they entered that much easier. Soon enough the party request was floating in front of him as another person decided to show up... "Hey! Did someone say monster hunting?! Could you use another hand?" He nearly jumped when the person spoke, after all the current location they were in was a relatively trafficked zone, that she apparently knew what they were considering was only slightly more disturbing. Though she was a study in contrast compared to both himself and his shaman companion he did find it entertaining that she wanted to join him. He knew that size meant nothing in this place but it was still entertaining to see a person that looked like a child playing the game. So approving the party from Elliot he took in the other person, she had a staff and was likely also a caster though he did not really want try and pull up her data without permission it felt a little mean. “ I guess another hand would never hurt... the name is Celebrimbor and my shamanistic ally over there is Elliot, you would be?”

So he had been correct. The other man was a nerd, and not only that, he arguably was as big a nerd or bigger than Elliot himself. Not only that, but it seemed he intended to take roleplaying even farther, not just imitating the 'real' Celebrimbor, but becoming him as closely as one could outside the universe of Middle Earth. 'Very interesting, this one...' Elliot mused as a faint bout of nostalgia swept over him. The red-head before him brought back happier times that had been spent in books and games before he had even reached his first university. He sighed contentedly as he thought of the days gone by. "It would be remiss of me as a self-proclaimed nerd not to be thoroughly familiar with the works of Tolkien, don't you agree?" He asked with a small chuckle. "I do enjoy speaking of such things with others who are equally inclined. That is, if you are interested?" Such discussions were probably best left for another day, since they were, at the moment, beginning a hunting party of sorts. And party it seemed to be quickly becoming. No sooner than he had sent the invitation and Celebrimbor accepted it, a very small and very pale fox-tail appeared. From her waving and thrashing about, he guessed that no one would be running into her anytime soon. After the obvious ears and tail, the first thing Elliot noticed about the newcomer was that she was, in fact, a she, and that she was likely a magic user as well. He studied her a bit more closely and saw that though her skin and fur were fair, her eyes were a fiery red. Back in the real world, such a combination would have meant she carried the genetic traits of albinism, but here... Here Elliot wondered if that was even possible. What sort of genetics were at work in THIS world? Codes? DNA? He added this to the mental list of things he wished to discover through research of his own. As Celebrimbor introduced the both of them to the girl, Elliot dipped his head in a nod of respect one would give to an elder or to a lady. "A pleasure." He said, quickly pulling up the interface and sending a party invitation to the girl who was apparently a Druid named Luiniel. He was proud of how fast he was getting at working the interface. then again, he remembered that fiddling with it and finding the shortcuts were basically the only things he had done in the game so far. "We would be pleased if you would accompany us. Truth be told, I'm not yet much for healing. Your damage recovery abilities as a Druid and my damage prevention as a Shaman should work quite nicely with Celebrimbor's damage dealing abilities to make a decently well-rounded party, especially for the beginner areas around Londinium." Elliot had switched back into proper mode. He had grown little lax with Celebrimbor due to the unique circumstance of their meeting, as well as the kinship from a love of fiction. However, this girl was new. He knew nothing about her, she was a higher level than both he and Celebrimbor, and to top it off, she just happened to know they were going hunting? Plus… She was too bloody happy looking, what with her big smile and bright eyes. He wouldn't write her off just yet, but he would be watching her, Celebrimbor too, but mostly the Luiniel. "Well, shall we head on then? I think the forest should be as good a place as any, yeah?" He asked, motioning with his head before walking that way.

| SINCE I WAS VERY YOUNG, I REALIZED I NEVER WANTED TO BE HUMAN SIZE | | Yeah, he was definitely an odd one. Apparently he chose the hard route rather than simply using the UI to find her name. She giggled quietly, it seemed that a lot of people held on to this since they all arrived here in this world. Such a slow method of introduction but she would oblige him anyhow as to be polite. Bowing to the two of them she straightened herself out and beamed at them.
"Names Luiniel. I'm a bit new to healing but I'm sure we can make this work. I'm normally a Samurai." she said as she scratched her head. She had plans to return to her original class at some point but for now she felt that there was a void in the support role. Everyone seemed to opt for the Assassin class simply because cloak and dagger appealed to every tom, dick and harry.
Tracing her finger over the accept button, Lu joined their party without a moments hesitation. Although she gave her name she did not ask theirs, she simply navigated the UI to figure out that much information as well as their class and level. It eliminated a lot of the guess work when it came to joining random PUGS. Lu was well aware of what a Swashbuckler could do but had little experience working with a Shaman.
Following along behind him, she nodded at his comment. "The forest is the best place to start. Boars are decent experience at low levels although they tend to roam together despite being a low level mob." she rambled on. She had a habit of talking a lot when she was excited about something.

It seemed that between that for the moment they would make a party of three. On a more interesting note was the Shaman in and of himself seemed to be at least a big of a nerd as he was. Maybe more... who was to really know. Though to be fair most people in this game were likely to be nerds or gamers or nerdy gamers or some combination of the pair. Either way it was decided that the forest would be their target and so ti was that they were off. The day in and of itself was rather nice as the strolled along, he was in no particular hurry as he fiddled with the belts for his pair of Katana. They seemed to not sit quite how he wanted them to though it would work well enough until he could find someone willing and able to make him a better set of sheaths though the swords he was using were still the starter ones and he would need to change them out soon. "Is this your first time entering combat?" The young, was she actually young... or just young in image. This living as an avatar thing was such a confusing process he decided. He still remembered his first time in a fight... to be fair the first time he used a skill he ended up in a puddle... The fight was a pain in the butt but he had leveled since then and gained more skills as well. “I have had a few experiences with the local Boar population...” He was unwilling to admit that the both lead to him hiding in trees to heal while another party member hit the thing a few times and back and forth it had been for who remembered how long... Either way he had been in a fight before and now was just another day in his path to becoming well the being he wanted to be in this game. Word Count: 331

Elliot watched as the Druid's name and class information flashed into being on his party list. He thought it was funny that he was the party leader, being the lowest level and all, but hey, the early bird gets the worm. In any case, he doubted it really mattered much at this point in the game. He watched as she checked their stats, it only took a few seconds for each of them. He had to admit, it was nice being able to get the information of friend or foe with the flick of a wrist. While it wasn't groundbreaking information that could be gained, it was certainly icebreaking. To know the class and level of anyone in this world was handy to be sure. He chuckled as she bowed, taking note of her dress in the process. Perhaps he would ask later from where she hailed. For now however, he would focus on observing her playing style. It would be interesting to see how a former samurai, a tank, handled the playing in the role of a healer. The two were about as different as could be when playing pure. Her tactics would likely be a little different than his own, or even someone who had been a Druid from day one. Would she try to fight from the front lines? Would she keep to the back? Would she switch between the two? Elliot would place his money on the latter, but only time would tell. Elliot wasn't even sure how he wanted to play. He would likely keep to the back for the most part, but at the moment, he didn't have any ranged attacks, and he didn't want to just sit casting a spell every minute or so. He had read that his subclass of Scribe could create magical tomes, called grimoires, that could fire magical bolts of energy. Perhaps he would try to gather some of the materials to create one of those during their outing. His head turned slightly to better hear as Celebrimbor responded to Luineil's questions. Like he expected, he was the only one of the three without any participation in combat. Sure, he had observed a little bit, he had even witnessed two people fighting in the square, but he decided to make himself scarce once the huge, armored guards descended from the sky. He had no intention of getting caught in anyone's crossfire. However, the thought of killing boars seemed pleasant to him. If nothing else, they could likely get some bacon out of the deal. Now that he thought about it, he hadn't eaten anything since he had entered the game. Did people even need to eat any more? "I'm afraid it is; I have not yet been battle tested." He said in reply to the girl's question. "I watched a few players going at each other in the town, but I vanished when the really big guys showed up. I didn't want to be around if things got ugly."The air turned cooler as they entered the wood, and the ground became more rough and uneven as they went along. Every now and then, an upraised root seemed to beg someone's foot to get caught. "So, you are normally a samurai? Why, and I guess how, did you make the change to Druid? He asked, dodging one of the roots in the path and listening to the crunch of leaves as his foot made contact with the forest floor. His thirst for knowledge taking over. He was under the impression that once a class had been chosen and you entered the game, that was what you were forever. Word Count: 609

| SINCE I WAS VERY YOUNG, I REALIZED I NEVER WANTED TO BE HUMAN SIZE | | Once more she let out a tiny giggle at something Celebrimbor said. The way he trailed off at the mention of the boars allowed her imagination to run wild with the scenarios. She too knew what it was like to bite off more than you could chew as she had already died in this world once before. It was a scary thing to die, even knowing that you were going to come back to life. The fear of the unknown outweighed most common sense.
"Good choice. The royal guard is not something I'd want to fight either. Not sure it can even be done, even if the whole of Londinium banded together." she said with a gulp. She had never seen them personally but she did not wish to either. There was a tiny shudder as she imagined having to fight something with such high stats.
"There isn't much to worry about right now. The boars won't be much of a threat unless you over pull. We have a decent team." she said. She sounded rather cheerful, truth be told she was just happy to interact with anyone at this point in time. "I'll be sure to keep the both of you alive the best I can." she added. Luiniel had never actually healed anything yet so she was unsure of herself.
The entire time she was busy talking she never noticed that they had left the city at all. Luckily she didn't trip on any roots or smash her face in. | | MADE BY KAIZU OF GS & TWF |

The Swashbuckler was rather immune to the effects of a giggling girl... to be fair he had next to no practical experience with the fairer sex... though given he was an elf he was likely supposed to be fair and he was also sure that he hardly effected the fair stereotype of elves. Had he chosen to look like an elf one might assume he would have long ebon colored hair hanging across his back and a bow in hand... he was not a bow person... he felt that physical skills trumped being able to bring home a pigeon... but that was not to say an archer lacked a purpose as their ability to support and watch a fighters back were welcome and indeed very much appreciated. He just was not a Legolas type elf... "Good choice. The royal guard is not something I'd want to fight either. Not sure it can even be done, even if the whole of Londinium banded together.” They are over leveled... I wonder if even with the best armor and maxed levels I doubt we can beat them... though they do serve a purpose...” It was true the Guards were a horrifying thing when you thought about it. They were leveled in such a way that they were a threat to even high level characters in high level gear. So to fight in town and have to deal with that thread was very stupid and most people that wanted to PVP did not do so within the city walls anymore... they left and fought where the guard would not follow them... It also meant that some people might choose your presence outside the city to attack for one reason or another... not everyone was nice. It was this that had any number of people that were afraid to even leave the city to do anything and they likely sustained themselves on their crafting skills alone. "There isn't much to worry about right now. The boars won't be much of a threat unless you over pull. We have a decent team. I'll be sure to keep the both of you alive the best I can." “Even if we pull more than we want I think we might be able to handle it so long as the agro sticks to the Shikigami and I can keep my DPS up... Though before we actually start anything... Elliot... how are you at casting... or do you use your interface?” It was a very viable question after all of the trio Elliot was of the lowest level and it was better to be sure he knew the shortcuts before they got into something a little less easy. For the moment they had run into nothing and Celebrimbor was not in a huge hurry even if they were a little into the tree's and off the road. He had brought out his pair of blades on purpose, mostly not wanting to draw when charging into battle but also to judge weights and feel. He had made a sword that was close to his own level but the other was the starter weapon so he wanted to know how the both felt as he held them. Word Count:536

Elliot nodded grimly as the others discussed the power of the Royal Guard. Thinking back to just seeing what they looked like gave him a case of the shivers. He didn't have to see them in action, and he never wanted to. Whether they were there to protect them and provide order, or if that was just a side effect, he didn't care. He just wanted to stay off of their bad side. Thankfully, 'neath the arbors in the forest, the Royal Guard was nowhere to be found. Though, as he thought about it more, that certainly had a trade-off. As they walked, Elliot could tell they were getting deeper and deeper into the forest. He was not a tracker, or an animal tamer, or even a woodsman by any means. He did however know a rut mark when he saw one. And he could see quite a few of them on the trees they were passing. Large gouges in the soft bark showed evidence of some kind of monster in the area, though with how many marks there were, monsters, would likely be more accurate. He wasn't surprised by Celebrimbor's question, in fact, he was surprised it hadn't come up sooner. "Well, like I said, I've not been in combat. However, I haven't been sitting 'round on my bum either. I've studied and read, and even more importantly, I've listened to the whispers around Londinium." He said, lowering his voice a little. Whatever was nearby, he didn't want to provoke it. "I've also played around with the interface. I can cast my spells, or at least summon my Shikigami just by thinking about them. The system does the rest for me."He looked around a bit more before stopping in his tracks. He held up his hand to the others with him, indicating for them to do the same. "I think we should stop here before we move on. We need a plan if these trees are any indicator of what we will face. What about you two? Can you fight without manually pulling up the interface? What are some spells or abilities you have that can benefit the other members of the party? We have to be mindful of the three of us, not just ourselves, and this is doubly true for Luiniel and myself." Elliot had done a lot of watching, and now it was time to see if his observations would pay off. The other two might just laugh at him, they might agree out of their own experiences, or they could be completely dumbfounded at the thought. He didn't know their backgrounds, so he decided to make his observations known. "I think we should get a head start, you know? Like I said, I have some barriers that will immobilize enemies and protect my allies. I also have this...." he he said before taking in a deep breath and stretching out his right hand. "Summon Shikigami!" He felt the game's magic system take over as his hand moved this way and that, his pointer and index finger drawing the characters 'spirit' and 'twin' with a bright white light which trailed behind his movements. It would take a few seconds to cast, but there would be a fourth member of their party when he was finished. Horus the Shikigami, Elliot's inner self made manifest would soon appear. A striking figure of the same size and build as Elliot, though with a few... avian advantages. Bronze feathers adorned his head in the place of hair. A wicked beak in place of a mouth. Sharp talons protruded from his fingers, and his eyes were as gold refined in a fire... [Elliot has used Summon Shikigami! Cast Time = 5 seconds. Effect lasts 5 minutes beginning on appearance of the spirit.]

| SINCE I WAS VERY YOUNG, I REALIZED I NEVER WANTED TO BE HUMAN SIZE | | It seemed like they were still working things out with the interface. This was a fairly common problem for everyone at the time. Even if it wasn't that hard to figure out, it was much harder to master considering sometimes you wanted to fight the system taking over. She had experienced it a few times, where she wanted to do an action counter to the animation of the spell she was casting.
"I also have a summon which should help to keep the damage away from you. I can also root the enemy in place." she added with a smile. This was exactly why she had wanted to swap from samurai to a support class to begin with. The utility that she brought to an encounter felt like more than she could have ever brought to the battle as a tank.
It had become a common thing in most parties as of late to share their abilities before battle. While she knew many who did not like to do so, there was benefit in working out a plan before engaging. Lu was a team player, despite her habit of inevitably driving everyone nuts in the end. "I think our best bet is for me to open with willow spirits and root the enemy. Then your Shikigami can increase it's threat before the mob gets to us." she said.
Rubbing the back of her head she tried to work out the math involved. "Should probably give it about ten seconds maybe? Then Celebrimbor can start his damage." she said. | | MADE BY KAIZU OF GS & TWF |

Discussion was in and of itself perhaps the easiest way to convey thoughts and ideas in regards to concepts and ideas. It also was the best way to convey a tactical plan. Once one knew what another could do it allowed the rest to plan accordingly. Himself he had speed along with the ability to slow his opponents. He was capable against single opponents but really could not handle a crowd... He was technically a role called DPS he was meant to cause as much damage as fast as he could not hold off an attack so holding off for a moment to allow others to move in first made sense which was the gist of the druids plan. Had they had a samurai or guardian or any of the other tank classes it was possible that this could be a little easier than it was at the moment. But they didn't so having a plan and a higher level healer gave them an advantage. For one she was higher level which meant that she had more spells available to herself than he had. But the plan had merit and it made sense to him as they continued farther out of the city. “It will probably work... I'm sure we will work out any kinks as we go along and having you gives us at least a little bit of a net for safety.” It seemed that about that time a pack of boars decided to pass their path... it frankly reminded him of the question why a chicken crossed a road though in this case it was a path through the woods and likely they were in search for food. Either way their was a small group of them and luckily they were docile enough naturally that they would not charge unless they actually did something in order to start things...
