There was fog was thicker than the tasteless porridge the NPC's sold. It was expected at this time of day that no surprise. Early morning just an hour past sunrise. No one was out this early save for a few Landers or the odd adventurer as they headed out into the fields. She and her big horse plodded along slowly through the mist her left hand on that damnable longsword she had as a weapon. The weapon was garbage as was the rest of her kit. Such was freebie starter gear. It didn't look good. Its stats were terrible and since she could FEEL the armor now it was fitted poorly as well. Her shield wasn't much better.
At least the horse she had been given as a starter wasn't some feeble old bag of bones, an emaciated beast or a yearling. BY good virtue or proper game design the beast between her thighs was plenty healthy and capable of his task as her mount which was a cavalry steed. Charging into the enemy then kicking, stomping and biting his way out of their formations followed by running down those that fled with a thunder of horse hooves. Then the thought came to mind that she'd never actually sent him charging against anything that was remotely humanoid. At least not yet she hadn't. That was probably something on the list of things she should do and soon. But what or who to test Bedwyr against was the question.
She'd need to think some.
