[attr="class","capsol"] Searching for a mentee outside of Avon was not a bad idea at all, even though most of the Adventurers eligible might have a hard time of making it out this far on their own. The bigger issue was the brazen way the Enchanter was going about it. Avon was home to many a surly Warden, most of whom were Landers, though there was the occasional Warden Adventurer. These were the worse. It was one thing to be a Lander with a grudge, but an Adventurer that openly opposed a fellow based on their main class alone… they were more often than not distrusted by their fellow humans, like a minority working in law enforcement. And of course] they felt the need to be especially hard on Heretic Adventurers. It was one hell of a vicious circle. Scribbled around Avon were short messages written in Mythic Script, and some normal fliers plastered on the walls: [googlefont="Allura:400"] "Enchanter seeking someone to mentor. Heretics welcome!" She had only bothered with the Mythic Script to foil the Wardens attempts to tear down the fliers. Those guys were pretty uptight about a little Miasma. Being a Pharmacist who kept a bottle of Miasma Cleansing Spray on her at all times, she had little to fear, especially since she was nearly max level. Heretics were honestly not that bad. The only real drawback was the madness brought on by the miasma. Capsule had tasted a bit of that quite a while ago, during that Shakespeare quest. She got to experience the Heretic class for a very short time, and despite being slapped on the rear by a tentacle tail, it was an enjoyable experience. There was much she had learned from Mute as well, though most of what she knew of Heretics came from her own research. Once, she had considered switching. In the end, she decided to stick with the class she started with. After getting weird looks from the inhabitants, Capsule elected to skedaddle and spend her time waiting for a suitable candidate goofing off. She pranced neatly up and down a low hanging stone wall that stretched along one side of the road. Her arms were out for balance, a force of habit. Her years of free running had strengthened her capabilities, though this wall was old and crumbling in places. With some hesitation, she performed a cartwheel, and came dangerously close to falling off. Maybe that was not a good idea with such a narrow and crumbly wall. Her dog, Bosco, yapped and stood up on his hind legs. The Malinois braced himself against the wall, perhaps jealous that he could not join her. Capsule dropped down into a seated position, feeling very much like Humpty Dumpty as she allowed her legs to dangle. One hand went down to rub the dog on the head. 'Soon.' Red eyes scanned the road and the fields beyond. If she were to do this in the future, it would be prudent to do some planning in advance… and maybe not seek out a certain class in a prejudiced area. Noctis had zero idea why he had came to Avon in the first place. Originally, he was passing by and was planning on just checking for some simple quests or wares better than his pitiful beginner items. What he didn't expect was to be alternating between hiding in alleyways and attempting to blend in with crowds as he made his way through the city. The amount of wardens in this town is to dang high, he thought to himself, attempting to hide his face as nonchalantly as he could while another patrol muscled their way past in their glowing magitech armor.
He discovered that he wasn't very much built for stealth. Being 5'10", covered in runic tattoos and stitches, and dressed in full black beginner heretic gear left him constantly cautious against the wardens, His dark violet and gold speckled eyes constantly darting around. To his surprise though, the wardens appeared to be preoccupied with a rather more pressing matter on their hands, running around and apparently removing flyers off of all of the job boards. Curious, Noctis shadowed one of the groups to the best of his ability, coming to a group gathered around what appeared to be a glowing purple text etched into the wall in what appeared to be a woman's handwriting:
"Enchanter seeking someone to mentor. Heretics welcome!"
Noctis actually grew in curiosity. He hadn't seen anyone before advertise so blatantly for a heretic before. His curiosity was very much peaked as he wished to figure out who it was. He sat for a moment thinking. He could sense the mana of the writing and try and find it's source, he was after all a sage subclass, and he doubted too many people would be in the area with such an ability as to scrawl out messages with their mana. But first he would need a distraction, one worthy enough to grab the attention of the wardens stationed at the glyphs.
He quickly got an idea, aiming far down the opposite end of the street he targeted a lander walking away and channeled the miasma, whispering the macro, "Chains of the Sentanced".
Just as planned, the chains erupted from the ground, covering the lander and causing them to let out a loud scream. The chains wouldn't do any damage, but it would definitely be enough to scare the wardens. As predicted the wardens rushed away from the script over to the lander who began screaming bloody murder. This was his chance. Noctis quickly, but cautiously made his way from the alleyway over to the script. He touched the glyphs, they were light mana, but concentrated and with a slight personal tinge in there, he walked off and joined a group off talking about the situation as he subvocalised the cue for his sage skill. "Sense Mana."
It took a few seconds, but he felt the mana channel itself. The wardens at this point had begun looking around near the lander for a heretic, guarding her as they thought her to be the target rather than the distraction. After ten seconds Noctis had a feel for the mana. There were small patches of it scattered throughout the town, but the main source sat off towards the edge. He made his way back into the flow of the streets as he wound his way slowly in the direction of the concentration. He wound through the town, eventually coming to a small side-street bordered on one side by a small cobblestone wall, and upon the edge of it sat a tall, silver-haired, half-alv enchantress. An Adventurer, but one of much higher power than himself, as the concentration showed. He canceled the skill as he approached, the high concentration beginning to give him a small headache.
As he got near she looked up, her piercing red eyes meeting his own. "Umm, Hi. I believe you were the one offering a mentorship?" He lifted his stitched up hand in a small wave before putting it back down by his side. He was unsure of how to greet this person, He didn't really have a whole lot of experience interacting with people like this, without the buffer of text and anonymity between the two.

[attr="class","capsol"] Bosco sensed the Heretic long before Capsule did. The dog went stiff beneath her hand and shied away from the petting. He was growling softly now. It reminded her of the first time they met Mute. Bosco was much smaller then, but he had been just as adamant in "protecting" Capsule from a preconceived threat. Mute turned out to be harmless, of course, and Bosco eventually warmed up to her. The dog turned and pointed his snout down the road. Capsule saw nothing for the first few minutes, but she saw him soon enough.
The figure was tall, thin and pale, with a mop of messy black hair. Had he had scissor blades for hands, she would have mistaken him for Edward Scissorhands. Bosco gave a sudden bark, now taking a few steps towards the stranger. "Bosco! Nein!" The dog softly whined, but did not stray any further. Teeth bared in a silent snarl, he moved closer to Capsule and sat down, never taking his eyes off of the stranger. The closer the boy (it was mostly teenagers who dressed in such a fashion) came, the more apparent his body alterations became. His mouth was stitched up like a victim of a Glasgow Smile, and there were similar markings on other parts of his body. Compared to Mute, he may as well have been a Goth, and she a Preppie.
Capsule dug her fingers under Bosco's collar, to prevent him from lunging out at uh… "Noctis Corvo," as his in-game name read. Crow of the Night? How fitting. Was this what the average Heretic looked like? Was her beloved the odd one out of her class? She eyed the boy out of the corner of her eye with some reservations. He was only a level one, so he posed next to no threat to her.
His awkward approach diminished whatever suspicions she had about him. He was just as clumsy as her when it came to approaching strangers. Or maybe that had more to do with the great disparity in their levels. Capsule met his eyes for a brief moment; dark purple with gold flecks. "Yes, I am." She pulled her knees towards her chest, and then fully extended them as she jumped down from the wall. Bosco took several controlled steps away from his owner, to sniff at the newcomer. "Name's Capsule. And that is Bosco." At the sound of his name, the dog yapped. "I may not look it, but I know a thing or two about Heretics." It also helped that she was a Mage, so that they were somewhat on the same page. "Do you have any questions before we get started?" This woman was hard to read. She carried herself rather well, but there were portions of her actions that came off as...whats the word...ditzy? Noctis didn't know. The only thing he could make out is that she seemed at least a small part concerned about his style of dress. He couldn't blame her really, he had designed it to be rather dark and strange. Her dog's yapping though caught his attention. He had always loved dogs and done well with them in the real world. He smiled at the puppy, Bosco if he remembered correctly from the woman, Capsule? A strange name, but then again, it was probably a username similar to his own. He crouched down and smiled at the dog, slowly and loosely extending his hand for the dog to sniff. It was coded so well, it seemed almost lifelike in its actions. It threw his brain for a small spin. This world was a game still right? Or maybe it was more... "I may not look it, but I know a thing or two about Heretics. Do you have any questions before we get started?"Noctis looked back up at Her, dusting himself off as he got up. "Not really, I tend to learn better by doing personally."Its not like it was a lie. He had gained at least a basic mastery of the skills already, it was just using them and their effects. He still had next to no idea what the whole Corruption debuff did, if anything. And it didn't help that he personally hadn't built himself to either figure it out or do a whole lot outside of venting it in case it effected him. "I mainly just have no idea how this world works yet. Still have details about my class I haven't quite ironed out yet, and still haven't quite found a place in this world yet I guess."He pulled out his starter hex doll. It wasn't much, one of the weakest weapons in the game. It was the accuracy and the idea of it though that had caught his attention. He clipped it onto a chain on his belt so he could pull it out a little faster if the need arose before patting his arms on his sides, letting out a sigh. "I guess I'm ready whenever you are!" A kind and rather upbeat smile came across his face. He was actually looking forward to this. He was sure his attitude contrasted heavily with the appearance of his avatar, but he didn't care. It was the small things that always seemed to get him happiest. Tag: Capsule

[attr="class","capsol"] Capsule warily watched as Bosco inspected the Heretic. She could read the dog well enough to know when he would or would not attack, and he was being agreeable -- for now, anyway. He took an interest in the proffered hand, and like most animals, the dog sniffed at it until he was satisfied. The half-grown Malinois trotted back to her side, apparently satisfied that Noctis would not be a threat… and not too clueless, thankfully. It would be highly concerning to her if he did not at least understand the basics. Finding level one players would never cease to amaze her.
"Well, that is good." His lack of knowledge on this world was not, but baby steps. "The easy way is to just jump into combat. You could still use the interface if you want, but it just feels natural to go without…" While she talked, Capsule selected a few options from her own interface. There were still some things that relied on it, like party requests or the mentor system. She sent a party invite to Noctis, and adjusted her level down to a meager thirty. It made her too high level to receive any experience from this venture, but assured that she would be able to use her gear. "Just think of this world as the real one, but with game menus and fantasy elements. You can still get hurt, but gain a tolerance to pain the higher your level." It felt strange having to explain all of this, after living in this world for over a year now.
Her eye was momentarily drawn to the little hex doll, now affixed to a chain on Noctis' belt. This was her first time seeing it outside of specialty shops. Mute only possessed a scythe, so she was no help there. Capsule looked away from the doll to its owner, who was now smiling in a friendly way that contrasted sharply with his appearance. You really could not judge a book by its cover, could you? She gave a soft smile in return, lightly nodding before stepping around the Heretic. "Wunderbar~. I know just the spot."
With Bosco padding along at her side, Capsule led the way further down the road, to where there was a crumbled section of the wall. Beyond it, the rushing river of Avon could be seen -- along with a few low leveled beasts. There was a young pittered boar, standing not so far away from its parents, a pair of Frenmic Rabbits frolicking lower down on the bank, a Garden Snake that hastily retreated up a tree when it spotted them, and a snoozing Nepent Snatcher in the shade of a tree. Except for the Snatcher, which was level six, everything was level five. It might be tough for Noctis on his own, but with Capsule nearby, it should be an easy lesson.
"You can take you pick, but I would not advise attacking the baby pig. You might aggro its parents. You could try the snake or the rabbits, if you can catch them, but." She nodded a the Nepent Snatcher. "The Triffid might be your best bet. They are like vampires, so you could easily get the jump on it and heavily injure it before it wakes up or can retaliate." It was a pain in the ass at night, however. Regardless of what Noctis targeted, Capsule would buff the low level Heretic with Magi Howling and Cast- On Beat. One would enhance the potency of his spells, while the other lowered his cooldowns by one second. He accepted the party invite as soon as it popped up within his field of vision. It startled him for a second, the menu suddenly appearing, and then reacting to his touch like some sort of giant hologram he had only dreamed about. Following her lead, he stepped through the opening to gaze upon the field in front of him. It all seemed so natural, the way everything reacted to their presence. It all had a certain level of beauty to it. He scanned the environment as she explained the enemies that lay around, before casting her buffs on him. He could feel the magic bolstering his connection to his own, acting as a gateway though which he could access and control his own strength easier. He took a deep breath before eyeing the wandering Plant-Creature, sizing it up as his opponent. The system reacted accordingly, highlighting it as his current target. Noctis concentrated on the miasma, bringing up his hands as the dark, mist-like substance began to flow from his hands, congealing itself into a small, black orb hovering midair between his swirling hands. He could feel Capsule's buffs taking effect, drawing more ambient energy into the substance as he concentrated. He would take the full 5 extra seconds on the orb, solidifying it, perfecting it. "Miasma bullet." Once again the words rang out effortlessly from his lips as the projectile rocketed forward, striking the beast for a decent portion of its health. It turned towards Noctis, drawing agro towards this new prey. It barrels down towards him, but not before he begins channeling his next ability. Once again, he brings his hands around, the cruel substance dancing in his palms. "Shackles of the Sentenced."Upon his cue, the miasma materialized about the Snatcher, sprouting black chains from the ground and binding the creature to the spot. A grin came across Noctis' face as he realized he had the creature right where he wanted it. He quickly pulled out the doll and needle and... Poked it. A bored expression came across his face as he sat down, the damage from the doll being rather minimal from each individual stab, but they became numerous and rather quick as he began a rather tedious grind against the beast, waiting for his cooldowns to be up and poking in-between as he waited. Miasma bullet. poke-poke-poke. Chains of the Sentenced. Prodprodprodprod. It was rather anticlimactic for such a big buildup, and he knew it, but it would be the most he could do, at least at his current level.

[attr="class","capsol"] «You will die for that,» the man-eating plant hissed, in a language only Capsule would understand. The plant had been rudely awoken from its slumber by Noctis, who had taken her advice. Bosco growled and went still at Capsule's side, head bowed. The dog was not going to pounce, however. Capsule would make sure of that. There would be nothing he could do to the monster, and she would rather not have to go through the hassle of taming another dog.
«Stand down. This is not your fight.» Bosco softly whined, but remained put. Before them, Noctis was using a series of spells on the Nepent Snatcher. He seemed to be doing well, though Capsule thought it was funny how he was calling out the names of his skills, like an anime or video game character. "You know, you can just think about the skill. You do not have to call them out. Especially for a unpopular class, it is useful to keep your skill list a secret." Capsule let slip a mischievous smirk. She lacked the Dystopian Vice skill at the moment, but such a skill could be used to effectively troll someone. She could easily disable one of his Heretic skills, or even go straight for the jugular: one of the beginner skills that everyone had, like Call of Home. Interface Control, or Auto Attack.
Things got awkward when the Heretic resorted to poking and prodding the monster with his little doll. Did he not have a proper weapon? She was not sure how much good it would do, but Capsule went ahead and buffed the party with Keen Edge. "That should help." It increased the effectiveness of physical attacks from weapons, though it was not making much of a difference with Noctis' doll. It would have better if he had a blade or blunt object.
Meanwhile, the Snatcher had gotten fed up, and shattered the Shackles binding it in place. Even with a boost, a tier one skill used by a level one player could not win against a monster five levels higher. «Impudent whelp.» Looming above Noctis was the large, human sized plant, opening its "mouth". Acidic saliva shone through, and further back, a small vat of the liquid could be seen. «FEEEEED MEEEE!»
Capsule aimed her staff at the creature, and casted Inversion on it. A white beam of light struck it, forcing the plant to spin around in the opposite direction. She came dangerously close to drawing aggro, but the Snatcher had no eyes, and relied on is Seismic Detection to feel out its enemies. "The ball is back in your court." She could easily finish the monster off if she wanted to, but that would defeat the purpose of mentoring Noctis. She wanted to see what he was and was not capable of. "But whatever you do, don't feed the plants," she called out. A couple of bushes that were not actually bushes rustled softly, briefly turning in their direction before going still again. Thank goodness it was day, else the other Snatchers would be more than willing to help their friend out. The walking salad was tenacious, he'd give it that. Sure this world is ruled by numbers, but it none-the-less could have at least flinched. Noctis had decided at this point to just attempt to kite the monster, dodging its attacks, chaining it to the ground when he could, and using the opportunity to launch another fully charged miasma bullet. Capsule's advice about just having to think the skills was actually rather nice. He had figured until now that they needed a key phrase to activate, but as soon as she pointed out the contrary...well...that was one less thing he had to worry about. He actually just might stand a- "But whatever you do, don't feed the plants."Noctis did not find this comment amusing. It took a second to register, but when it did, he rooted the plant again with his chains, before slowly clicking his head towards Capsule. His face was full of disproval, his eyes half open in a condescending manner, and his mouth but a long, thin slit. He brought out his Hex Doll and turned it around before briefly targeting Capsule, proceeding to immediately, and in full view of her, pierce it in the rear. True it wouldn't take much, if any out of her health, but the point was that it would hurt, and hopefully deter such snarky comments in the future. After he had his brief fun he turned back to the creature, dodging another attempted bite. Strange, his muscle memory from his old life still seemed to be in place. Whether it was paintball or martial arts he had yet to figure out. All he knew was that it was saving his rear for the moment. He cast chains again on the monster the cooldown having refreshed before it broke out again, and backstepping away before tossing another miasma bullet at it. "How much of this is the game, and how much if it is us from real life?" He called over to the enchantress.

[attr="class","capsol"] The condescending look was met with a small smirk of amusement. Either Noctis was unfamiliar with the reference to the musical, or did not find it as funny as Capsule did. If he was trying to get a rise out of her or scold her by attacking her with the hex doll, he would be sorely disappointed. Aside from having accessories that boosted her resistance to physical attacks by twelve levels, her level was also too high for the starter weapon to have much of an effect on her. Armor helped too, she reckoned. Regardless, he may as well have been poking her with a crochet hook. It… sort of tickled, she guessed?
Capsule tilted her head to the side as he went back to fighting the monster. It was not putting up much of a fight for some reason. Things seemed way too easy for Noctis, which would explain why he was so eager to turn on his mentor. Was it time for Capsule to spice things up a bit? Before she could do so, however, Noctis was tossing another question her way. "It is a mixed bag, really. You should retain some abilities you had in the real world, but a lot of them are also null and void without the appropriate classes or skills. So a skilled chef outside of the game would not be able to craft food items here, unless they had the Chef crafting class."
She cupped hand to her mouth, as if confiding in a secret. "I should also stress that pain works differently here. So if you were to shoot someone in the head who boasts a much greater level than yours, they could easily shrug it off with very little inconvenience. This includes sharp objects." That was a remark aimed at his little stunt from a few moments ago. "Just something to consider outside of safe zones."
The Enchanter was a very cautious woman, but at high levels she could afford to do a few risky things, mostly those that would do her very little harm. The only warning Noctis was given was a snap of her fingers. Three orbs of the black element manifested from her staff, and were guided by her mind to three different targets. One slammed into the side of the Young Pittered Boar, which had strayed too far from its parents. The second bowled over a Frenmic Rabbit while it was in mid leap, and the third sought out the hiding snake.
With one finger, she pointed at the Heretic, and in the language provided to her by the Tongue of Nature skill, said «He is the one you want. Only level one, while I am much too strong. The three of you should be able to take him down with little trouble.» The predatory Garden Snake in particular heeded her words with glee, while the Frenmic Rabbit and Young Pittered Boar hesitated for a moment. The boar glanced in the direction of its parents, who were stronger in comparison, before giving a light bob of its head and charging. After a moment, the rabbit followed. «Eaaaasy preeeey,» the snake hissed.
Drawing aggro from level five mobs to a level one was unfair, but their health had been knocked down to half from the damage, on top of the Curse debuff that now plagued them. It meant their stats would be lowered by a meager ten percent for thirty seconds. Capsule could have disabled them further, though chose not to. Noctis proved himself to be capable of dodging. "And this is a crash course on facing multiple enemies at once. Think fast! Which should you focus on first?" As she said this, she refreshed the buffs in the group. It would not do to have them falter in the midst of battle. Noctis was having a hell of a time dodging the plant. Audrey-2-wannabe or not, it definitely wasn't going down without a fight. He had blasted it a good few times with a fully charged miasma bullet, but it still hadn't done much, even with the buffs. It felt strange being so weak compared to the overgrown weed. He didn't like it. Still, all it would take would be a little longer kiting and a few more well placed shots and... Noctis heard the snap and saw the black orbs collide with their respective targets, before the enchantress spoke some sort of gibberish that made the other beasts look at him with a rather large amount of killing intent. No, Yup they definitely were agro-ing on him. The first thought through his mind was definitely 'Are you shitting me?'. She agroed 3 more monsters onto him, with little more advice than think fast. SHIT. His first goal would be to get the biggest threat out of the picture. The sooner the Rumor Weed died out, the sooner he could deal with the, albeit still higher level than him, cannon fodder. He threw up his hands, chaining the chlorophyl coated menace to the ground before charging up and launching another one of his bullets at it. He was actually rather lucky. A Crit, Its health lowering to little more than a sliver. It wasn't a whole lot of help though, the smaller beasts were closing in rather fast. Franticaly, he began to rapidly stab the doll in a desperate attempt to knock out the last bit of health from the Snatcher. It worked, and not a moment too soon. Just as the Venus Man-Trap dissolved into its cloud of bubbles, the rabbit and boar arrived. The rabbit was fast, but its paths were predictable while it was in the air; The boar was strong, but its attack patterns were linear, with a lot of momentum. A couple well timed dodges helped raise the distance gap between it and him. The snake, on the other hand, was tricky. It blended in with the surrounding grass rather well, and its movements were difficult to follow. As his spells finished their cooldowns, he cast chains on the rabbit, knocking one rather large problem out of the way, at least temporarily. He charged up and waited for the snake to strike, ducking under its lunge to blast it full on with another one of his cursed projectiles, lowering it to about 1/3 health. He turned to the boar a little too late however, having just enough time to toss out his arms in reflex to catch the young tusks in an attempt to throw it on its side away. What he didn't expect was the tusks to cut like knives, and the boar to hit him like a truck. His health, already meager due to his choices, took a rather strong hit, lowering to about 66%, the wind forcibly leaving his lungs as he was thrown back against a tree. He wearily got up, not willing to give up on this fight. Like capsule had said, He wasn't able to use some of his old martial arts skills against the creature due to his class choice. Hitboxes were definitely still a thing as well. However, Even at his wounded state there was still one option. He quickly clambered up into the tree, out of reach of the boar and the rabbit and began bombarding the Snake with quick strikes, not bothering to charge up, but rather going for as continuous an output on it as he could manage. It would be the only mob that could reach him up in the branches as far as he was aware, and as such deserved first priority. The bombardment continued, whittling the creature's health down until it too shatterred into the many bubbles that signified death. After that he took his time on the other two, flailing around at the base of the tree, charging up fully and maximizing the immediate damage, wanting to end this rather quickly at this point. After an excruciating couple of minutes, a tired, beat up and exhausted Noctis makes his way out of the tree and back over to the silver-haired vixen who had just put his life in such danger. "What the heck...was all that...about?" he huffed out, still exhausted and burned from the extensive use of mana.

[attr="class","capsol"] As things finally began to get interesting, Capsule chose to back up a few paces and lean against the stone wall. Completely unaffected by the chaos she had just wrought, the woman placed her arms behind her head, legs extended and crossed. It was a very casual pose, and contrasted sharply with that of her pupil. If the lad got overwhelmed, she could easily step in and call off the lesser beasts… or detain them, if they refused to listen to reason. The snake in particular would be a stubborn one, whereas the rabbit would back down immediately.
The critical hit landed by Noctis upon the Snatcher elicited a low whistle of approval from Capsule. It was nothing fancy, but it helped. And, considering that there was a series of new enemies charging at him, best to end the plant first. Personally, Capsule would focus on the Snatcher, then the snake. The rabbit could be scared off, as it was only half-heartedly attacking. The young boar was just trying to act tough in front of its parents, but a well-placed attack might convince it to back down. Even in MMOs, the less aggressive or docile beasts could be convinced to leave you alone, if you afflicted enough damage. That made some quests a bitch and a half when they tried to flee and recruit allies.
Capsule inclined her head slightly to the left, and after a brief moment of contemplation, nodded as Noctis chose to focus on the boar and rabbit next. Chaining the boar down might have been a better idea. Given it could do a lot more damage in a single charge than the rabbit (which was mostly limited to rabbit punching and kicking and scratching), incapacitating it would have saved Noctis from harm. She winced a little as the Heretic was slammed into a tree. Climbing the tree was a smart move, though it also put him in danger of being assaulted by the venomous fangs of the snake.
What followed next was an unengaging show of Noctis picking the beasts off one by one, having disposed of the snake beforehand. It was smart, however; neither of the two beasts were capable of climbing the tree. They also operated under the belief that he would eventually climb down, when they should have given up and left. But what could you expect of a young boar and a creature that could not count higher than five?
She lightly pushed herself away from the wall as the battered and mana weary Heretic approached her. He looked as though a strong breeze might knock him over. "Mostly to see how you would handle a situation with multiple enemies." Some of it was also for her own amusement, but details. "There are times when you will be ambushed or have the aggro pulled onto you. It is not so bad in groups, when there are others to help you, but alone you will be faced with flight or fight." She shrugged. "You did not die or book it, so you passed the test."
With one hand, Capsule toyed with her inventory. Before putting up notices for a mentee, a few potions were speedily crafted. She held out two potions to Noctis: health and mana respectively, to bring him back to tip top shape. It would not do to have him cold clocked by a random monster passing through. "They do not taste as good as food with replenishing qualities, but it gets the job done." Medicine rarely tasted good, though there were those that tried (and failed).
