Hiro reached around to his back, scratching at one spot in particular. "Man, this sure is weird..." He spoke silently to himself. He wasn't used to having a sword strapped around him quite yet, even though he had made it for himself, in order to be able to learn how to fight with one, despite it being a katana. Sure, it might be kind of childish to be a kid with a katana as a Monk, but hey, he liked it. Along with this, he had fastened a pistol to his side, concealed underneath his clothing at this point. All of these things he'd made were now usable, in some cases. This didn't mean a thing, though, in the grand scheme of it all. Hiro was walking throughout the city for no particular reason today, mostly just for the sake of being out and about. He had no real aim for the day, except to just do something to preoccupy his time. A few days ago, he'd had no time to do things on his own, let alone have time off, but today he had more time than he knew what to do with. Nothing to really research, as he had planned out more than enough things to do at Capsule's place when he helped her out, so that was out of the question.
No major guild movements he had to make, no mentoring or fighting, not even needing to head out to his personal house in the forest, as the locals offered to take care of it this week while he was in the city, doing all sorts of planning. He was really at a loss of things to do for the moment, but he didn't really want to hang around the guild house all day. So, he took to the streets, and began to temper himself to wearing weapons around his body. Hiro was so used to just walking around that it felt exceptionally weird to have the sword and gun on his person. He wasn't going to stop using his fists to punch everything into the dirt, mind you, but he wanted to try and see how the other halves lived, with weapons impeding their movement slightly. It wasn't that much of a problem for everybody else, but after having been so very used to just moving around as free as can be for the entire time he'd been in this world, it served as a reminder that Monks truly had it easy with weaponry. As for armor, though, that was something completely different. His freedom of motion was definitely preserved in the type of armor that he was allowed to wear, as one would expect.
All this thought about movement, things to do, and the idea of living, all started to give Hiro a bad case of the grumblies in his stomach. He found himself growing increasingly hungry as time went on, and decided that it was a good time to try and have some food. He started to turn a corner, when he noticed a noodle stall just up the way, one that he hadn't seen before. Stopping his forward motion to look at this place, Hiro decided that he might as well give it a go. It was an old-style Ramen hut, with only one or two customers in it. Thinking he was getting hungrier by the moment, he walked towards the place, and pushed aside the small curtain-type blind, and found himself a seat. He looked at the menu, ordering just some simple Miso. The smell of the ramen all around him made him feel quite relaxed, if a bit warm in the collar with all the heat going as it was. Hiro smiled as the bowl of soup was put onto a plate, and placed directly in front of himself. Breaking apart the chopsticks, Hiro began to slurp up the soup almost instantly. The hot sensation in his mouth and on his tongue felt oddly good, despite the entire city being warmer than usual for late Summer. "Mmmmmm~" A soft sound could be heard from him in between the slurps of the food. Today was gonna be a good day, he felt.
