[attr="class","capsol"] Hiro found himself in the plaza, where all the Sages were gathered. He needed to find something else out about the Messier Order. Hopefully, he wouldn't have to drag far too many people into the situation. However, he did need someone who they didn't know to go into all of this, since if they saw him, they would most likely remember him. That one creepy Sage might be around, and Hiro had no idea if they would recognize him or not. Either way, though, he waited for someone to show up, and ask him if he would offer them his help with the Celestial Arms questline. Generally speaking, though, it would make more sense for him to find someone else to ask, since he didn't want to make it look like he was lingering around for no real reason at all. He was trying to feign the happenstance of looking like he was paying attention, as one of the Sages was up speaking about their Order, and how they needed help. Hiro already knew the spiel, so he just tuned it out, letting the words fly over his head for the time being. He didn't need to pay all that much attention to it, thanks to the fact that he had already done what the Sages needed him for, at the time.
It would only be a little while longer until they would show up and ask him for more help, which he was no doubt going to try and help out with. There were far too many things he didn't understand, and he thought perhaps retracing his steps to do so would bring about the answers he wanted. Granted, how Hiro and Sayha had helped out the Sages beforehand didn't seem to do much in the way of finding things out. He would need to go over their stories once more, just to make sure that he was fully aware of everything he needed to be aware of. He had spoken with Sayha before, telling her that he wanted to get some more info on how the Sages worked with other people. Perhaps by doing this, he could gather some kind of information on them, where he would be able to learn their true intentions. He clenched his fist, where he held the his own Pebble of Philosophy. He quickly put it back into his pocket, making sure that nobody would see it at all. If he found someone nearby where he could help, then he would offer. Until then, though, he ignored the Sages, and pretended to look up at them, as they spoke. He squinted a bit, as he thought he saw a figure move out of the corner of his eye. One that looked very much like the Sage whom he had worked with.

"If there is one thing I miss about when this was a proper game, it's the ability to skip boring conversations." Jane grumbled under her breath, wishing the stupid 'sage' would get to the point already.
The little guardian had been drawn out like many other adventurers, curious about a new event taking place, and mostly wanting to find something new to do outside of the monotonous and repetitive boredom of what counted as day to day life inside the game these days. If only the old skip function would still work. As the sage went on about their so called 'greatest discovery', Jane's eyes were crossed as she tried to focus on her interface and bring up whatever options she could to try and skip it. Sadly(?) there was no way for her to click her mouse, mash her spacebar or enter key, or something similar that would normally allow one to skip the conversation in a game like this. There were a few 'speed up text' options which seemed greyed out (and useless considering the sage was speaking verbally).
"A lot of good all this does, maybe there is still a way if I..." so she poked him halfway through a sentence, interrupting the important bit about what she needed to do with the wand he was waving around and displaying as he was trying to give her the last bit of information she needed to proceed. The sage blinked a bit within in deep cowl, before bristling with important and standing to his full height, something that probably would have been a little intimidating if Jane had been paying him any attention.
"Do you mind? I'm trying to give you some important information here. It's hard enough to try and get anything through to you when you're so actively ignoring me. I bet I could quiz you on what I've said so far and you'd not get a single point right! The nerve of some of you Adventurers!"
Cedric couldn't help but let Jane crack a smile at that one. Whoever this NPC was, he sure had character. A little more than some of the other sages around here who seemed more interested on drawling out their lines and letting the adventurers on their way without so much as a howdy-do. It was that almost-human attitude that made her want to see what else he'd do if she pressed him a little bit more. Hoping she'd be able to hide the smile before he noticed, Jane returned her face to a rather flat and almost expressionless state and focused on the interface again, hoping to look as though she was looking through him. Then, slowly but surely, she reached out and poked his belly.

[attr="class","capsol"] It wasn't all that much longer that Hiro had begun to hear some kind of a commotion happening just nearby. He looked over, and there he saw a rather short girl somewhat terrorizing a Sage. It looked like she was just trying to speak with them, though that feeling had very quickly shifted out of the way when he saw that he girl was more likely poking the Sage. While he found it rather entertaining to see such a thing, since he held no trust for the Sages of the Messier Order at all, he figured that it might as well stop sometime soon. Yep. Soon. He wasn't gonna make it happen now, since that would just be silly. Why would he intentionally ruin someone else's fun with the Sages? It wasn't his type of thing to bust in and stop them from having as much fun as they wanted. Besides, he very much disliked the Sages, so watching them suffer a little bit was okay in his book.
While the bothering was going on, he needed to remind himself what it was that he needed to do here. Since he and Sayha were trying to get some information on these guys, after having completed the quest lines up to this point, he wanted to know how the Sages interacted with other people. All this being the case, though, he needed to figure out if they were also trying to find something else out about the Adventurers, since they didn't seem all that interested in forming a real bond with people who helped them. They didn't even promise any real rewards for anybody who did, so this was all a beneficial circumstance to them, instead of the Adventurers benefiting at all. Except, maybe, a few levels here and there, but that's just about it.
Hiro's mind snapped back to reality shortly afterwards, he decided that he should probably stop the poking attack that had been going on with the Sage just ahead. He walked up to the girl, and put a hand on her shoulder, facing the Sage. "We'll be on our way now, we've got one of the Divining Rods." Hiro started to lead the girl away from the Sage, before turning around and introducing himself. "Hey, I'm Hiro." He began. "You looking to clear out some of the Sage's quest or something?" He asked. It was probably a little strange to do such a thing, all of a sudden, out of the blue, but he couldn't help but wonder what exactly it was that the girl wanted from all of this. If she wanted to do the Celestial Arms stuff, then he would ask if he could accompany her, so he could get his own answers. If not, well, he'd leave this person alone, and pretend that he was just confusing her with someone else. As such, he waited for her response.

The man practically bristled with rage at that, what Jane could see of his face going bright red. She could practically see his eyes bulging, or at least imagined them doing so considering his hood came up just enough to let her see his rounded nose just below large flashes of eye white. To top it all off he was making some sort of high pitched boiling kettle-like sound, to which Cedric's imagination superimposed clouds of steam flowing out of his hood, but that wasn't really there at all. He went so far as to take a threatening step forward, though Jane just sort of stood there passively and looked up at him, almost daring him to attack. They both knew what would happen if he did, so Jane just smirked when he finally stepped back and tried to straighten his clothing. "Fine then, see if I care. You can just do it without my help. I'm sure you know exactly what to do." he announced smugly. Just as he was about to turn in triumph however, someone swooped in and ruined the entire situation. "Huh, buh, wuh?" Jane asked as she felt a hand on her shoulder, turning up to stare at a human that, even Cedric could admit, was a pretty boy. She just nodded dumbly at what Hirosame had to say for a moment, before her true victory finally clicked in her mind, and she just turned with the other adventurer, nodding as though she knew this all along. She could hear the sage's spluttering restart in earnest as he realised she'd be getting the help she needed despite it all, and she waited with dramatic effect until they were just about to disappear from the man's view to turn around and stick her tongue out. A lot of adventurers turned towards the sage at the most human outburst of emotion, that of rage, that any of them had seen out of the sages since they got there, to which Jane just chuckled. When they'd finally moved far enough away Jane turned to the other human, "Yeah I am, thanks for that thought. I think I hit a hyper realistic nerve or something. And I really wanted one of those rods so I could break it down for components too..." She grumbled lightly, going cross-eyed to bring up her status and try to see if anything in her quest log had updated. "So what's the general gist of this event? I truthfully wasn't paying attention, I figured it'd show up somewhere instead so I could just look at it as needed or something." blinking a bit at the lack of information she had in the system Jane frowned. "But I guess this is a case of it not working that way anymore..."W: 465 Hirosame
