[attr="class","capsol"] A large gathering of people seemed to be just up ahead, causing the fox-tail to become curious. Her weapon had been in her inventory for the time being, though she didn't necessarily need it in this place. Cel had heard something about a few Sages or something of that sort, having small meetings around town, usually in plazas of sorts, and asking those who feel adventurous enough to perform a task for them. While the Assassin wasn't too keen on just running around and doing fetch-quest types of things, she figured that it might be a good way to get some leveling done, as well as get further into some kind of a quest line that she could continue to do without that much trouble. That being said, she continued along her way through to the street, heading all the way over to this one plaza where she figured that a meeting was happening.
As she had arrived, she noticed just how many people were actually trying to pay attention to the person in the middle, who had introduced themselves as a Sage of the Messier Order. Cel had heard about something called Messier, though she didn't remember exactly what it was. All that she could really recall was something about the stars, involving them. She hadn't heard of them in school, though, since she didn't have the greatest grades in the world. She didn't do bad in school, but it wasn't as good as she could have been. Either way, the term 'Messier' was definitely familiar to her. She couldn't exactly remember where she had heard it, but it still bothered her. She eventually found a place to stand at attention, and started listening to whatever it was that they were talking about. Of course, there was a slight murmur about, since the other Adventurers were also confused.
As the fox-tail listened, she could feel her tail sway from side to side, slowly. Cel was not used to having a tail quite yet, and she planted her hands on top of her bottom, because she thought that someone might have been trying to lift up her skirt. When she realized that she had merely slapped her own backside, causing a few people to look at her, she felt a slight wash of embarrassment, as her face started to brighten up just a little bit. Her tail flicked a few times, as though mocking her, as she started to walk further into the crowd. She was still paying attention to the whole thing, though more so since she had been trying to hide from some people now. Her hair and clothing betrayed the essence of a chilled-out girl, but the bright red on her face would say otherwise. She tried to regain her composure, as she continued to listen to the Sage just nearby her.

Artemisia, like so many of her fellow Adventurers, had heard the newest rumor to circulate around the town of Londinium. It was a rather interesting rumor this time and it definitely piqued her interest the more she heard about it. This was unlikely the petty whispers that often reached her pointed ears, this was truly an adventure in the making. History was happening and discoveries which could shape the world were unfolding. Curious and a little skeptical, the Sorceress had joined the growing crowd of people, all gathered in a garden to hear the latest news. The blonde squeezed her way through the throng of people, her short stature coming in handy to allow her to get a little bit closer. Standing before her, slightly raised up above the crowd was what she assumed to be a man, based on his voice. He was dressed in garb she had never quite seen before and it appeared to be based on stars and other like elements. Just as the person was beginning to introduce themselves as something called the Sage of the Messier Order, something in the corner of her eye caught her attention. A blue haired fox tail was standing in the middle of the crowd, her face red as a tomato. Artemisia looked her over and slowly shifted in her direction. She was a rather attractive looking girl but she couldn't seen any obvious sign as to why she was blushing so terribly. Concerned that perhaps someone had done or said something inappropriate to the Adventurer, she looked around subtly but saw no one that looked guilty of such an action. Still listening to the Sage with one ear, she slipped up right beside the other fox tail girl and whispered to her quietly. “ Your face is putting off enough heat I could probably cook dinner on your cheeks... do you need help beating up some guy or something? I can throw a pretty nice fireball,” This other girl was taller than she was, so she had to look up at her a bit. Artemisia smiled widely and extended her hand in greeting. “ I'm Artemisia, nice to meet you...?” She raised her voice into a question as she ended her sentence, clearly indicating she was expecting the other person to share their name as well. Whether her handshake was accepted or not, she eventually let her arm fall to rest and turned back towards the Sage, who was beginning to explain a little more about their findings. “ So, what do you think about what this guy here is talking about? I'm still not sure if I think this is going to be the best quest of the year or if this guy has completely lost his mind...” She shrugged, laughing softly with an amused expression on her face. Only time would tell but she was pretty sure she wanted to be along for this ride. Maybe she was even going to make a new friend today as an added bonus. -- Notes: Nothing really to say yet, I bet you weren't expecting a reply that quick though, were you? : P Words: 501 Tags: Celsius

[attr="class","capsol"] While the fox-tail was still dealing with her rosy-red cheeks and completely embarrassed figure for the moment, she didn't really notice another person sidle up next to her. She did, however, notice the calm voice whisper next to her, causing her to jump just the tiniest bit. Her eyes fixed on the slightly shorter fox-tail next to her, a blonde one, who had made complete note of the bright coloring on the girl's face. This very obviously caused her to brighten up just a little bit more, but she regained what she could of her demeanor, and responded. "Oh, heavens, no." She began, her accent carrying through. "No beating up of anybody is required, I merely did something rather... Embarrassing, without realizing it." She chuckled a little in embarrassment, as the girl had extended out her hand to Cel, who looked at the hand for a moment.
After a second, she took the hand in her's and shook lightly. "Celsius, charmed." She said, after a second. "Please do call me Cel, though. It's much simpler to say, rather than my whole name." A smile appeared on her face as she was greeted Artemisia. "A pleasure to make your acquaintance, dear." Their hands separated, and she began to listen to the Sage once again, speaking about some tablet that needed recovering somewhere on the Thames Coastline. To be fair, the Assassin hadn't been paying as much attention as she should have been, as she was dealing with both the blinding flush across her face as well as meeting someone new. He continued on for a few more moments, before disappearing into the citizenry not too long afterwards. They seemed to be handing out some kinds of staves to the general populace not too long afterwards, but she didn't move yet.
Cel looked over to Artemisia as she had asked her her opinion on the Sage and what they wanted. She did giggle a bit as the Sorcerer girl had finished her statement, though she had to think of a response really quick. She only caught bits and pieces here and there, so she wasn't really able to fully explain her opinion quite well enough. "I suppose it does sound interesting," She began. "Though I definitely do not know how to go about it all. I'd assume that one would need to grab one of the staves that they are handing out, as that may help with some sort of locating of the pieces of the broken tablet, however that's only my assumption on the matter." From there, she fell silent, looking over at the Sage who was over the way, handing out the sticks. She contemplated walking over and grabbing one, though it would be rude to leave Artemisia standing there. For now, she would stay and talk more with the Sorcerer.

The blue haired girl she had forced her presence upon seemed willing enough to allow her the pleasure of some conversation while the Sage spoke. She had made it clear that there was no need to teach anyone a lesson about anything, as she was the source of her own blushing cheeks. Artemisia had been curious to ask more but had decided to not pursue the topic. In response to her own introduction, the girl identified herself as Celsius or Cel for short. She seemed nice enough, polite and calm. Definitely not someone she felt she needed to hurry and get away from. If anything, she was hoping to get to be friends with this girl. It never hurt to have more fox tails in her life, after all. She was clearly partial to them and had yet to find one she didn't think was adorable. The Sage of whatever it was continued, explaining about this tablet they had found. They believed it to be a relic from the time of the Alv race. Unfortunately, they had only managed to find a portion of this stone as it seemed to be incomplete. However, there was hope it could be restored and completed with the help of the Adventurers and some magic stick. The Sage stepped off his platform and entered the crowd, passing out the rod he had spoke of in his speech. Beside her, Cel commented that they would probably need one of those if they were to search for the missing pieces. It seemed, to Artemisia, as if she wanted to go and get one but was holding back for some reason. “ Well, then...” The blonde raised her hand up in the air and stood on her tip toes, waving her hand back and forth. “ Excuse me, excuse me!” She called out in the direction of the Sage who was handing out the item. “ Yes, over here!” She continued to wave her hand around, drawing quite a bit of attention to herself. “ We'll take one of those. Yes, two please.” She Sorceress grabbed two of the Divining Rods from the Sage. Once she had what she wanted, she let her feet rest flat again and lowered her arms. She turned to Cel, who she expected might be a bit embarrassed at her method of obtaining the item, and held one out for her to take. “ You wanted one, right?” She smiled at her. “ I'm sure two heads will be better than one on this one, what do you say we check this out together?” She offered as it seemed Cel was a little lower in level and may find the adventure difficult. Barely giving her a time to respond to her, Artemisia popped open her menu display and shot Cel a friend and party request. With all of the Adventurers here, she expected they might have a little competition finding these things so she wanted to hurry up and get started. --- Notes: That meets the basic requirements, I believe. [attr="class","capsol"] As the pair had returned to the Sage to make sure that they could show them the restored image, Cel had been introduced to a... Rather interesting person along the way. The Samurai/Artisan that Artemisia had mentioned, Saeko, definitely seemed to think fairly highly of herself, though she seemed to be particularly friendly with Artemisia. With Cel, however, it seemed to have turned into a battle of the boobs. While Saeko was bigger than she was, in that department, Celsius was taller than the Samurai. She hadn't wanted to cause any trouble with the girl, but the fact that she was taller than the swordswoman seemed to have thrown her off. It turned out that Saeko had done something similar with a few other people, turning the reconstructed artifact into something of a side-profession of the girl's.
All this being taken care of, it seemed as though the two fox-tails needed to speak with the sages once again. However, it seemed that the conversation didn't really hold that much weight, since the whole thing seemed to be about some kind of a fountain. At least, that's what Cel had grabbed from the whole debriefing. It seemed that the Artisan that they had gone to see, although being a bit of a jerk, was good enough at the job to have completely restored the tablet without too much of a problem at all. That being the case, Cel had to wonder about where it was that they would be heading, as soon as everything was all set to go. Something about a Fountain that they needed to go visit, on this separate island. Cel was just confused about it all, since she didn't know exactly where this island was.
However, it seemed that the Sages knew where it was, and suggested that they take one of the nearby boats to the place. The Island was called Ultima Thule, and housed some horrible weather, which seemed to have been cleared up kind of, thanks to some of the recent weather patterns. What did that mean? Heck if Cel knew. She wasn't a weather girl, she was a fox-tail Assassin. She would, however, go check this place out, because it served as some kind of an interesting way to spend a little while in a day. Hopefully, Artemisia would go along with her, since she had no idea how to function on her own. It was safe to say, at this point, that she relied on the Sorceress for help and guidance, while also trying to build up a friendship. Kind of a win-win, in her mind.

Once the piece had been unearthed and Artemisia had gotten into contact with Saeko, it wasn't long until the fox tail duo had found their way back to their original starting place, the plaza with the Messy Sage. Or something like that. Their brief encounter with the Samurai, Saeko, who restored the tablet was interesting to say the least. There had been a bit of boob comparing, which Artemisia clearly wasn't even in the running for, and some other female banter. It was always a special moment when the Artisan woman was around and the Sorceress was still sometimes not entirely sure what to make of her. It seemed as if they got along well enough, though, and that was basically the important part. Either way, the piece was restored, although it didn't really seem to be anything all that helpful? She had been expecting words or something but there were none. It had etches and carvings in it but she really couldn't tell what it was. She had hoped when the two pieces were rejoined, that something would come of it. Although she couldn't call the trip a waste, as she had gotten to know Cel a little better, it certainly would have been a little frustrating if they had gotten the wrong thing. Fortunately, however, that was not the case and when they returned to the Sage, he was able to fit the two pieces together. Once joined, it became more apparent what the image was. It was some sort of fountain. She didn't really recognize it and based on her expression, it seemed the Assassin was also unaware of what it was. After explaining that the fountain was the Ultima Thule, found on the Isle of Thule, the Sage asks again for their help. The area, he explained, has been more or less cut off from access until recently. The Sorceress was a bit worried, considering it was a complete unknown. She felt pretty confident she could take care of herself, even though she was only of a modest level, but she was worried about her companion. Hopefully they wouldn't run into anything too tough because, having come this far with it, Artemisia was determined to see this through to the end. She still needed to know if the Sage was insane or actually had made some big discovery. Going to this island was the only way she was going to find out, it seemed. --- Notes: That should cover it, then. Words: 408 Tags: Celsius
