The first day had been strange. Waking up in an eery, almost abandoned city had a tendency to provoke that kind of reaction, in his experience. Couple that with the fact that day one of the Apocalypse was also day one for the UK server, and in all truth they had been lucky to avoid a full scale panic. Fortunately, at least for the complete beginners, some of the players had previously played on another server. Eadon had been glad for that. A helpful Cleric had been kind enough to spend a few hours going through how the various menu screens worked with him. That had likely saved him from hours of frustration. He was one of the smarter ones, though. While waiting for the game to install, Eadon had gone through and read the instruction manual. Sighing, and crossing his arms behind his head, the redheaded teen looked around at the semi dilapidated buildings that surrounded him. The city was beautiful, in that kind of post apocalyptic and almost surreal way. The cloudy sky hanging gloomily above his head, and buildings panning out in all directions. It was all but impossible to tell the difference between this world, and the real one. Scarily so. "Well, I can't sit here forever," Eadon said out loud, yawning, "I guess I should go and explore this dump, and see what some of these skills can do.” Getting up, he idly ran a hand along the hilt of his sword, before choosing a random street and heading off.
