Be as you wish to seem. ~ Socrates Word Count: 360
The sun was out. The clouds were thick, milky white and passing over head every few minutes to help give the sun a break from the whining people below. The Thames Coastline was usually filled with people, but they mostly wore bathing suits and held coolers or towels under there arms. Today was definitely a different kind of experience. All around the coastline were people who were dressed in their best gear, ready to face off against the worst kind of monster were waving their wands around. Marquise was somewhat upset he didn't just bring a beach towel and wear his swimsuit here. He would of gotten some rays in and a show. Today, Marquise was just like the rest of the big idiots searching the beach. They all wanted to get the story going and see the perks that came with finishing it.
Marquise made his way down the strip of beach away from all the people. He was another one of the idiots flailing the wand around hoping it would glow, or at least lead him in the right direction. Nothing like that happened. The further he walked down the beach the more doubt was installed in his heart. Was this a real event? Was this just gonna be a planned massacre? Collect the souls of the adventures and become one....or something stupid like that. Marquise was about to turn around when he saw it. All his doubt washed away. It was just to obvious: A sea cave. Of course he had to test the idea. Marquise waved the Divining Rod towards the cave and would believe it if I told you that it was glowing? Cause it was.
Marquise looked over to the small images a people in the distance and then looked over to the sea cave. He grinned to himself and made his way inside. As he followed along the path of sand, the divining rod grew bright. The brighter the rod grew the less seawater there actually was and more sand that emerged. Soon the echoes of water filled the cave as Marquise walked further and further into its depths.

Be as you wish to seem. ~ Socrates Word Count: 313
Marquise was waving his silly Divining Rod about the sea cave, not as fun little thing to do to follow the after image of light but as source of light. The cave was getting deeper and it was becoming increasingly hard to actually see anything, but the deeper Marquise got the brighter the glow got. He knew he was going to the right way. He just didn't want to fall into a trap or something and have be transported back to the citadel. Marquises movements slowed down every so often until he heard to a stead stream of sea water surrounding an island of sand. He made his way towards the sand bar and then looked down to the divining rod. It was glowing but he didn't need it anymore to see or to figure out where the idea was. Marquise took a few steps back and then made a running jump over the stream of water on to the sand.
He took a few step towards the center before looking up at the glowing ceiling. Instantly his breath was stolen away from him. A night sky in the heat of mid-day on a beach.
"So this is Glow Worm Cavern. I thought I heard some people talking about it when they went on dates, but I never imagined that it would be part of a quest...."
Marquise made his way to the middle of the sand bar-island and began digging. As he did that, his thoughts began flowing through his head.
"...then again, now that I think about, all these places people find that have unique properties probably have some sort of quest, event or achievement meaning behind them. Otherwise, why would they be so unique. I'll have to write this place down in my journal and mark the coordinates. I don't wanna forget about this place if it shows up again."

Be as you wish to seem. ~ Socrates Word Count: 321
"Finally!"
Marquise exclaimed in an unimaginable excitement. What should of taken him five minutes took an hour. Why you might ask? Well because Marquise was incredibly stubborn. Once he put the divining rod away because he thought he knew where the rock was, he didn't take it out. He decided he didn't need it, when he really did. At first he was gonna take it out but he just nudged himself along.
"I've dug three holes, whats one more?"
After ten more holes did he outright refuse to use the Divining Rod. He was gonna find this stupid piece of rock on his own and he wasn't gonna use the help of a glowing dil**
*Cough*
Marquise, finally after an hour, pulled the rock from out of the thirty-first hole he had dug and held the rock up to glow of the cavern.
"OH YOU HAVE TO JOKING!!"
Marquise was so elated to actually find the rock, especially without the help of the Divining Rod. He had broken a sweat and actually lost some durability on his start armor and lost a little bit of health. But the satisfaction he got when he pulled that rock out made up for all the trials, however brief it was. Upon inspecting the rock, Marquise's scream echoed throughout the entire Glow Worm Cavern.
"ITS INCOMPLETE!! ALL THAT FOR AN INCOMPLETE!!!! ARGH!!!!!!! RXESDCTFVYGBHN"
What followed was probably the longest strand of profanity ever said in the history of Elder Tale. If there was sailor subclass, Marquise would become the admiral of the Royal Navy after this. He was about to toss the rock into the wall but he found himself gripping it tighter. He puled it down and looked at it.
"I think I can get someone to actually repair this."
Marquise pocketed the fragmented piece of rock and made his way out of the Glow Worm Cavern and back towards the heart of Londinium.
