With the new "Speed-Crafting", I have a sudden urge to make use of the money I have, as well as my crafting skill itself, and plan to make equipment and weapons for other players to snatch up and purchase. I also plan to build on my shop and adjust to the new piece of the economy, however I have a concern. The current "basic" recipe is extremely broad and I'm not exactly sure what would constitute as "simple". In short, what I am asking is; what would constitute as "simple"? Would the weapons be your generic swords, axes, and daggers that would be found in any NPC shop? Or would we be able to customize them? The reason I ask is because, based off just what is written, I am unsure of what I need to write out before I can speed-craft and what I do not have to write out, and also; what are the limitations of the speed-craft? As in; what can I NOT do with a speed-crafted weapon? If it helps, here are some of the questions I am actually wondering; 1. Based off the current "Beginner Equipment" recipe, what is actually considered to be a "beginner" weapon? Would that be all of the weapons listed here? 2. What can be speed-crafted without penalty without a thread, if there is anything? 3. I know that if I handcraft a weapon, I could customize the actual length of the blade/dagger, adjust the curves on the battleaxe, and add a serrated edge to a weapon. Will I still be able to do that with a speed-craft? 4. Do speed-crafts have zero effect on the increase of our Subclasses level? I believe it's stated in the edited section of the new bit, but I am still scratching my head over it...

1. Beginner weapons = Pretty much anything at Level 10 or lower. "Simple" refers more to the attack and defense values of the weapon. Crafting better equipment means that you'll need Level 11 or higher stuff, materials of which are found in the dungeons.
2. Everything can be speed crafted. The only downside is that you won't get AP from it and that you might end up going through your money supply faster than if you were to craft by posting.
3. You can still customize forged equipments' appearances as usual.
4. Speed crafts do not raise your AP at all, they merely allow you to craft a lot of things without having to spend a lot of time posting. If you want to boost your AP, you should perform regular crafting RP threads.

I'm going to add onto this with something a little more specific but that definitely falls under the topic.
I want to know if speed-crafting is based specifically on the recipe or a little more flexible, and I have two examples.
Say I make a level five mana lamp as an alchemist. Can I then use speed-crafting to make, say, a level ten version since I already made the exact same recipe? This is probably more applicable to weapons and armour, but I wanted an example that would be easy to understand.
The next example is something I can't turn into something else for simplicity. Say I use the beginner's equipment recipe to make a level ten sword. Since I've done the recipe before, can I then use it to speed-craft, say, a level ten scythe?
Thank you in advance and sorry Saber for swinging in on a rope to toss in my questions as well, but I figured they'd be ones you'd want answered too o/
Edit: Mura ninja'd me :c
Edit: Oh wait no she didn't I'm a dingus who can't see I'm on the second page of most recent. Carry on.

Yes and yes. Once you've used any recipe as a craft, you've unlocked that recipe for speed crafting at any level.

Figured I'd add this question to this thread rather than create a new one.
If I want to speed craft a sword, do I have to make a thread where my character creates a sword? Or can I link any other thread which used the Basic Equipment recipe?
For example; I created a kukri for Capsule. Am I able to link to that thread and create something like a battleaxe?

Yes. No matter whether it's a battle axe of the same level or an armor of a different level, if you've used the same unaltered recipe for it, it qualifies for a speed craft. Of course, this means that all items from the basic recipes are currently restricted to item levels of 10 or lower. Crafting anything better than that will need materials from events or dungeons.

To add to this topic, I have a couple more questions...
Can a speedcrafted item also be reforged? i.e. I make a longsword, and then reforge it for the bonus. Does this mean I can subsequently make any and all level 10 and below equipment using the beginner equipment recipe, and reforge it for the bonus with the reforge recipe, as a speedcraft?
Next question, with this speed crafting idea, what is the benefit to using a recipe like Beginner Equipment Mold, which reduces the amount of posts needed to create an item? If I can simply speedcraft the items, then the cost of that item for the benefit it gives is made somewhat redundant. So that this recipe still holds some value, perhaps it would be possible to have the equipment mold be reusable and/or somehow reduce the cost of creating items in bulk? Simply an idea. If after you have used a recipe, you can then make that recipe without posting, a recipe that reduces the amount of posts needed to complete a recipe is not very useful and seems to be just a waste of materials.
Finally, can we use limited speedcrafting within a thread, for recipes we are using for the first time within that thread? For example, let's say I want to make 10 rings which give a stat boost, while using a Mold to reduce the crafting time. I have never used the accessory crafting recipe, or the mold making recipe. Without any speedcrafting, this thread would require a minimum of 21 posts (1 for the mold, and then 2 for each of the 10 items being made), and 5250 words. Could i instead craft the mold (presuming the recipe is modified to give some benefit), then craft the first of the items being mass-produced, then have the remaining 9 speedcrafted? In essence, this would reduce the required size of the thread to 3 posts, and 750 words.
Thanks in advance!

Speed crafted items can be reforged and reforging can be available as a speed craft. They are no different from a regular crafted item in function.
Equipment mold has been made outdated due to this recipe. Perhaps it could be used to allow a blacksmith who didn't perform a regular craft of the item yet to speed craft the item a limited number of times. We'll think of an alternate use for it soon.
Speed crafting can be used in context in an RP thread, so it's fine if you normal craft the first item and then treat the remaining items as though they were speed crafted.
