Brewer - Distilled Spirits Part I |
After adventuring with my group for a while, we all decided we would join up together another time. Hopefully stronger than when we were before. He’d think, I guess they’re okay. But they’re not as bad as I thought they might have been. Charles had been wandering the Londinium Stalls, in search of things he could do to progress. “I should probably focus on one class at a time. Let’s start with my Brewer class.” Charles didn’t quite remember why he chose the Brewer crafting subclass. In real life he never drank alcohol, and never even thought about it. But he continued in the park. The sun was covered by some clouds and it was starting to snow. He’d think, The last thing I want is for it to snow, it’ll just get in the way. He’d keep wandering until he’d stumble upon a Brewer stall. He’d stop there looking around seeing if there was anything of interest. Charles would suddenly stop, opening the menu. He looked through his crafting list, and he’d scroll through. Distilled Spirits, Iced Beverage, Ordinary Beverage, Soda, Unfounded Drink, and Wine (Basic). He’d look at it seeing the materials for Distilled Spirits, and then seeing them on a shelf in the stall. He’d glance at it, then making eye contact with the stall owner. The owner would look at it, and would say the price, “That’ll be five gold, for all of those ingredients. They’re quite basic, so I’ll give them to you for a low price.” Charles would reach into his pocket pulling out five gold from his fifty gold. Then making his gold count forty five. But maybe it would increase by the end of this. He’d hand the man the five gold pieces and the items would disappear into his inventory, and he’d walk away from the stall. By now the clouds would be starting to clear, with the sun starting to show. He’d start walking to a private place, wondering how long the crafting time would take. He’d remember reading a guide before he played the game. Charles recalled something about the potential of this crafting subclass varies as the market base is split between pleasurable versus medicinal concoctions. And something about guilds trying to make the “ultimate drink.” Should I join a guild? He’d ask to himself. He’d continue with his hands in his pockets, and his head down. A guild would be good, but I’d rather not join a giant guild. Because some people might lack skill. And some people might just be in it for the rewards. He’d think to himself once more. So the correct thing to do, is to make a small seclusive guild, or not join one at all. He’d stand there, realizing he had walked way too far, and was in the middle of nowhere. He’d look around, then seeing the stalls a while back. He’d then head back letting out a sigh, but parting ways at a tree, sitting down under it. There was pretty much no snow under the tree. He’d lean on the tree, then falling asleep. Words: 516 |
