He was going to do it and take the plunge. They were still in this world and he felt as if not enough was being done about the land that they now called their home. Monsters roamed outside the gates, food with actual taste seemed to be scarce. People were only now starting to organize, but with their sights on the horizon with progression and exploration. All of which was well and good, his sights were set much closer to home. London itself, fixing the city up. Helping to build it up to stability and self sustaining prosperity. The world was a dangerous place and he wanted to see this place truly become a safe haven. And while they were safe in the walls from Pkers and their ilk, it still didn't feel safe. It felt like a cage, holding them inside but protecting them from the world outside. He wanted to get rid of that feeling of dread and confinement. But he couldn't do it alone.
He had a few friends already that might be able to help. At least he hoped that they would be willing to help him with his goals. With his dream of making a prosperous London. Popping open his friends list he would first contact Kaizer the Samurai whom he had met outside of the gates. Together they mastered the basic principles of group combat and both of them shared a passion for protecting the people of this city and seeing it safe by their presence. Next he contacted Rosethorn. She didn't seem to be combat ready, but not everyone needed to be. She was such a sweet girl and he could sense the passion inside of her. He wanted to do so much more than kill monsters and police the area. He wanted to help build it up, to nurture it. And she had such a nurturing heart that he couldn't imagine doing this without her.
Both of them were vital foundations for this goal. A nurturing nature and passion. Dedication and strength. They needed those qualities to rise up above the muck, to lift London up to the glory that it could achieve. They were adventurers. They were immortal in this world, and had the potential to wield so much power. It would be a shame to see it all squandered. He asked both of them to meet him at the Parliament building. Where people met to group up, where the banks were, and where guilds were founded.
Even this late at night it was open, the people of the Land having it staffed at all hours of the night as Adventurers were active at all hours. There was never a dead time really. Some people liked working at night better, and he could see why. The world just felt different. And it seemed appropriate to have the meeting now, under the full moon. Amidst the peacefulness of this beautiful evening they would have a chance to hopefully create something equally beautiful. Or so he hoped.

without your love, my life RoseThorn had been at the inn working on a little bit of art, a slow painting of her time in the meadow starting to come together. She had on an old scrap of fabric to protect her clothes, but it hadn't quite managed to protect her fully, instead getting her covered in different colored inks and dyes. Huffing, she reached out to grab an old rag, intending to wipe her face clean of a single long streak of paint when instead she blinked, a window popping up in front of her eyes. It was an envelope, and she slowly set down the rag before a slow smile spread over her face, recognizing Endrin's name. Thinking that it was something so that she could expect him over, she opened the mail, figuring that he wouldn't mind her being a little messy when he first came over. He’d seen her when she was falling asleep and with her clothing falling to pieces – something she’d fixed almost immediately the next day with a bright red coloring her cheeks – so surely a little bit of paint splattered all over her wouldn’t be nearly as bad, right? Or at least, that was her line of thinking at any rate. She’d clean herself up before attempting to make anything for him, so as soon as she felt that her painting wasn’t in danger of being upset, she pushed the confirmation button to open the message.
Instead, she was met with a request to go to the Parliament building, and she blinked with surprise before flushing. If she was supposed to go outside of the inn, she didn't want to do it like this! She darted to clean herself up, washing off the streaks of paint that covered her fingers and arms, tossing her smock onto the chair that she'd been sitting in, and with one last glance over herself in a window pane, she grabbed the cloak that hung by the door - Endrin's, she thought to herself, she'd have to return it when she met up with him again tonight - and tucked it over her shoulders as she ran down the stairs, step light and heart beating in her chest. It didn't take her long to make her way across the city of London, her time spent there studying the maps more than enough to give her an idea of where the Parliament building was in this new world, and when she stepped up to the gates, she was surprised to find that it wasn't nearly as crowded as when she had first passed by it, though that could very well have been because the building was open now. She spotted Endrin standing alone, and she smiled, padding over to him, his cloak clutched up to her chest in the same way it had been back when they'd first met. "You wanted me, Endrin?" she asked, before blinking and blushing, pulling his cloak from around her shoulders and offering it to him. "Here. I realized that I never gave this back from earlier, and well... I should probably give it back now." She rocked back on her toes, feeling a little shy. “So what did you call me here for, Endrin? Are we… going to go off on a party to go level or something?” | Words;; 551 Tags;; EndrinKaizerhopsOkamiNotes;; Shhh we're going to silently pretend she has slightly better armor until I can get my act together and have Kitkat craft it, okay? Kaizer was out in the field again. His blade at his side as he leaned against one of the many large tree's of the forest. Since he was currently solo putting his back to the tree made him feel better. He was investigating monster activity changes from day to night and if different monsters would be around, of course his findings hadn't been very conclusive on differences, but activity had changed. Kaizer didn't enjoy the solo hunting, but the combat gave him opportunities to think, which was so rudely interrupted by the window in his field of vision stating a contact message.
He'd move his left hand to open it and drag it to the side so he could check his surroundings as he read over the message.
~Parliament? That's odd... Well maybe he figured something important out.~
Kaizer would send a reply that he was in the field, but on the way. It'd surely take him some time to get back to town, though much easier since he could spot out the easiest path through the monster hoards out and about. Stopping in town he'd be sure to see if any ingredients were worth buying, seeing nothing on display he'd keep moving to the building. Spotting Endrin easily enough and another character, female from this point of view.
Kaizer would wander over with his right hand resting on the handle to the Nodachi strapped to his side like an arm rest. A quick bow of his head to both Endrin and the woman.
"Meow I'm beginning to get the picture."
Of course he couldn't be positive about it, but it was possible that Endrin had some plots up his sleeve he was ready to move forward with.

He smiled at Rose when she showed up and returned the cloak. Pretending that he didn't see her blushing as he took the cloak back from her. His fingers may have brushed against hers, not entirely unintentional. But it wasn't overt, he pretended not to notice that either as he put the cloak back on. Placing his right hand to his heart as he gave her a small bow. He was happy to have his cloak back, though he had managed without it.
"Thank you Rose. As for why we are here it's pretty simple I called you he-" He cut off his words as Kaizer showed up and his smile turned up to eleven. Both of them showed up! That was a great sign! Kaizer even seemed to have an idea on what was going on. He took a few steps away from both of them so that he was standing in front of the Parliament building with them standing before him.
"I'm sure both of you have seen it while wandering the city. The buildings are in a horrible state of repair. Vines creeping up everywhere. The subway system partially collapsed. Players scattered about like dust on the wind, lacking direction. Many of which huddle in the city afraid to venture outside for fear of the monsters and predatory players of this world. While some groups have united to push onward to explore this world, to perhaps find a way out my eyes turn inward to London.
The fact of the matter is we might be stuck here for a long time. Days, weeks, months, or God help us even years. What the other guilds are doing is noble and important, but someone needs to look toward home. And in this world that is London. Someone needs to be here to protect it, to rebuild it, and to help guide it toward a prosperous future. Because if we are going to be here for any length of time we can not let things continue like this. We need combat ready hands ready to protect the weak in the areas around London. We need skilled craftsmen and women to not only rebuild London but to innovate. I can not do it alone. Which is why I come to you both for help. One man can only make so much of a difference, but together we are more than one one of us alone. And perhaps in time more will join us. People who are ready and willing to protect and build this new land that has become our home, for however long we are here."
It was his dream since deciding that he would be a knight in this land. To make it a better place. To help people however he could, but he knew that as an individual he was weak. One man did not change the world alone, groups of people did. He could only hope that he could inspire some people to take his hand and look to what London could be rather than what it is now. Which is why he held out his hand to both Kaizer and Rose as he finished his little speech.
"Will you help me build a better tomorrow? Can I count on you both to help make this city into a home for not just us, but for everyone who finds themselves in this land?"

"Hell yeah you can... count on me!" Hops says, raising a floppy sleeve up in the air as it slides down her arm. It sounds like she had to burp midsentence there, but thankfully kept that shoved down in her chest. She definitely wasn't up by the others a minute or so ago, but she was now, stumbling up to them and just kind of... leaning on the very much smaller Rosethorn. Just kind of... flopped over her, shutting her eye and jutting a thumb to her chest.
"I'm totally reliable for stuff." She slurrs out.

A steady gallop was the only sign of what was about to happen.
Okami was never subtle with, well, anything she did. If the fox-tail woman had to do something, she would do it with flare. Sometimes literally. But this time, this time she had managed to do something. Something that would make the sorcerer's digital ancestors proud of her.
She had managed to hunt something. Or rather, someone.
It started simple enough. She'd seen him at the inn with the others, the 'prince' as he'd been called. Royalty. A member of the higher status with the people of the land. So naturally, she assumed, he had some absolutely spectacular amazing quest that she could go on for something equally as amazing. And fun. Ooh, how the fox-tail knew, not assume, assume meant there was a chance it wouldn't be and that was just unpossible, it would be the kind of deal that would send shivers running down her spine. So naturally, like any other sane individual, she spent the rest of her time up to this point stalkin-hunting him. Yes, hunting. Totally legitimate people tracking.
The sorcerer could have really just saved her-self time if she'd bothered to, you know, just go talk to him. Or, hey, look at his status screen. But such things were far, far below the regal mind-set of her glorious Okami the mighty wizard monk scientist. With the cutest little tails in the world~
And so, being the individual she was, Okami didn't pay any mind to the small gathering of people as she stormed through the bushes, whipping the shire's reign's as it leaped. If they could see her at this time, they'd have seen the fox-tail woman with a rather gleeful expression at her sudden collision with the masses. And if they could see the shire's, they'd have seen the grumpiest equine face ever worn.
Shooting past the man at the front and stampeding her way through the group, Okami pulled the reigns up and to the side, twisting the mount around as it pulled into a standing, heroic kicking pose only found in over-rated western movies. She leaned back from the top, waving around the invisible hat that she most definitely had. Because anyone who was doing something like this needed a hat, and Okami was most definitely not missing hers. No sir.
The horse gave a grumpy whine, not amused.
"HI PEOPLE!" She yelled out, grinning cheekily at them. "Don't suppose you could all help me, I've been looking for this prince guy for awh-oh hi!" She waved energetically to the prince, lowering her horse back to the ground. "I've been looking everywhere for you, Mr. Prince~." She admitted from atop her majestic steed.

without your love, my life RoseThorn shyly returned the smile offered to her, only coloring slightly from the brush of fingers against hers, but it was just an accident, so she didn't feel too horribly embarrassed about it. Instead, she gave a small curtsey back, looking at him curiously and waiting for him to fill her in. She jumped at the sound of another voice behind her, turning around to see... a giant walking cat in armor approaching them. Though it didn't seem like the other was hostile, so she turned her attention back to Endrin in time for the Guardian to speak.
The words... captivated her. They spoke to her in a way that gave her hope, a purpose. Yes... she would be able to help rebuild London. That was why she had been brought here. She found herself perking up, head lifting, and she opened her mouth to say something to confirm her interests only to get cut off into a loud squeak, suddenly being used as a counter by some woman who smelled strongly of liquor, a stench that made the poor girl's head swim. And then, as if that wasn't enough, there was suddenly a horse galloping in, another squeak leaving her as she cowered slightly, afraid of being hit by the swinging hooves. The look she had shot Endrin was that of pure unadulterated terror, a cry for help that she couldn't put into words. She had been around horses a few times back in the real world, yes, but she had never nearly been crushed by one before, and with the weight being leaned onto her body, she really just wanted someone to rescue her. Hopefully the one man that she knew here already.
After taking a few quick breaths to calm herself, gulping in the air and trying not to gag at the burn of liquor at the back of her throat - she wasn't even technically old enough to drink, or at least, she hadn't been back in America, the drinking age in Britain was lower, but she hadn't taken advantage of it like some of the other art students had, not wanting to risk her developing brain cells in exchange for a chance at more interesting art - Rose managed to gather herself together enough to speak. "Y-you know I'm in, Endrin," she stuttered shyly. "London is our home now... we can't just leave it to go to ruin." She then turned her head to the side slightly, cheeks puffed out in a pout as she addressed the woman currently using her as a counter. "A-and could you p-please get off m-m-me?!?" she asked, the stutter flaring up as her worry about upsetting someone by being rude warred with her irritation over being flopped all over. "Y-you're too h-heavy for me!" She was only a small woman, she didn’t handle the additional weight all that well just in general, never mind that the scent of liquor was making her feel light-headed.
Though at least the female on the horse had brought the equine back to all four legs. Much less chance of getting brained by a stray hoof. | Words;; 522 Tags;; EndrinKaizerhopsOkamiNotes;; Rose has requested backup, repeat, Rose has requested backup *shot* Lyrics;; "Carnival of Rust" by Poets of the Fall Template by Kuroya |

Kaizer's suspicions it would seem........... Were completely wrong.
Kaizer thought the meeting place would be here simply because Endrin had heard rumor of the kitchen inside parliament being one capable of cooking any dish that exists in any world imaginable with every possible flavor all wrapped nicely in a baked bun. Now it comes to light that he wanted to form some sort of guild, a syndicate, a government of laws and jurisdiction and rules. A way to make London a much better, happier place than what it is now. It was a noble goal, and it seemed this woman was going to fawn all over him about it, until another woman showed up... Drunk... Wait.
"Where did you get alcohol?!"
This would be an important step for knowledge. Beyond rumors. This would be the final piece to the puzzle. However, even that was cut short by the arrival of yet ANOTHER woman, on horse back, looking very obviously for Endrin. Kaizer's attention would go the the so called "Prince" and they would narrow. He'd grip the end to the hilt of the nodachi at his side as he spoke.
"I leave you alone for three days and you go and get yourself three woman?"
Kaizer would move as quickly as his body would carry him to punch Endrin on the top of the head in a downward swing.
"Meow share your secrets!"

Endrin's heart soared with elation as both of them confirmed that they would join him. Wait no, only one of them did. The other was a drunken slurred voice that he recalled from the bar the other night. Hops if he recalled her name correctly. Where did she even show up from? He didn't recall seeing here when he had called everyone. Was she stalking him or was this just fate bringing them together. He stepped forward with the intent to help her off of Rose when all of a sudden the fox tailed woman who was also from the bar showed up on horseback! Raising his arms up to shield himself from the steed's kicking hooves he was left momentarily speechless at this very random turn of events. And it turned out that the fox tailed woman had been looking for him. But to what ends he did not know. And why did everyone continue to call him a Prince?
"Why were you looking for me? Is everything alright?"
He was concerned, perhaps she was in trouble. Then it would make sense to look for him, and he would of course do what he could to help. As a knight it was his sworn duty to see justice served and to help the weak and downtrodden. To fight for virtue! He would try and lift Hops off of Rose and shoulder her weight himself as Kaizer asked her about the origins of her alcohol before turning his attention back to the not so Princely Endrin. Punching him on top of the head with his feline fist as he demanded the source of his power. Which was apparently a harem of women from the sweet and innocent Rose to the surely and inappropriate Hops. And now apparently the loud and outspoken Okami who had hunted him down like a rabbit unable to get to ground.
"Oww!" He rubbed the spot on his head that was damaged by Kaizer's blow. Wincing as his fingers touched the now sore spot. That was totally uncalled for. "I haven't done anything different than how I treat you. With respect." He said clarifying to cut off the gay joke he may have accidentally set up.
His gaze swiveled back over to Hops who was proclaiming herself reliable. And he did not know how true that statement was. But he did not know her, she very well might be reliable. Just because she enjoyed drinking did not make her unreliable after all, and with such a young movement as they had now he would be foolish to not accept her aid if freely given. Virtue could take root in any heart, he would not push away those that wish to make this world a better place.
"It would be an honor to have you aid us in our endeavors Lady Hops." He said before beaming at Rose, pleased that she too was joining him in his quest. "And I too am pleased to have you on this quest Lady Rose." But Kaizer and Okami had not answered him, though he suspected Okami did not know why they were there.
"And you Kaizer, will you aid us on this quest for justice and virtue?" Or was he just going to keep hitting him anytime a woman looked at him?

Hops had been there the whole time, just mostly passed out behind a counter. "I've been here the whole time. Obvsiously you guuys were looking fer me." She's leaning on both Endrin and Rosethorn now, arm over each shoulder while slumped down as dead weight. She has to. She's tall. "S'okay, I like you guysh too."
She makes guns with her hands, firing off her fingers towards Kaizer and Okami in a show of great camaraderie. Yes, they too get to be involved in her shoulder flops, even if she has to connect the dots. "Ayyyyyyyyy. Yeah Kaizer, you gonna... aid us on the quest're what?" Kaizer was his name then. Kaizer had to think long and hard on this one. There were more people here than he was comfortable with. He shifted his eyes to each in turn taking in the differences and similarities. They were an odd group, fashioned it seemed around Endrin. Kaizer's eyes would slowly fall back onto the man, focusing as he tried to find any implications of betrayal or bad intentions. The man "The Prince" so far seemed genuine. Not awfully overly caring for others, but it was a huge concern, not angry or mean in any way, but an aura of possibly being stern and commanding. It was a sight to see, a Harem of woman so far, but it was... Normal? Like it fit somehow in an odd way.
The speech was noble enough, it was the same things he was hoping for and it was most definitely along the lines of his long term goals. He would just have to get over the whole crowed problem. Finally coming to his conclusion Kaizer would draw his blade grip it with both hands holding the hilt at eye level with the blade vertical and down, just hovering above touching the ground.
"Meow this has caught enough of my interest. I'll do what I can and join this expedition."
He'd lower his head, but his eyes would continue to track Endrin. Letting it sit for a moment before lifting once more. Replacing the blade in the sheath at his side, the large horse slaying blade. Resting his right hand as usual on the handle of the Nodachi like an arm rest to counter balance the weight.

"Silly~" Okami clasped her hands, smiling, "I was looking for you to take the quest!" With a laugh, the fox-tail tilted her way to the side, slowly, steadily, before letting her-self fall off the saddle of her shire. But she did not face plant the earth, oh no, the lady of black magic had caught her fall with a single hand. Adding two to steady her-self, the fox-tail cartwheeled back to her feet, landing with her legs spread and fists on her hips triumphantly.
"Of course, as the greatest sorcerer that ever lived, I'll be taking part in this glorious quest of yours Mr. Prince~ Ohohohohoho~" She'd have lifted up a hand to cover her laughing, as any noble individual should, but she was quite happy to leave them on her hips - instead, she tilted her head up, nose pointed in the air imperiously.
The fox-tail lowered it back down with a cheeky grin, glancing over the group before her. Dashing and regal knightly prince? Check. Shy and withdrawn girl dressed like a dancer? Check. Tipsy, half-dressed woman with a drunk slur? Check check. Kitty man samurai with bro tendencies? Che...ck...
Wait.
Okami stared at the cat man curiously, eyes glinting with mischief. The sorcerer's lips pulled into a sunny smile and she happily skipped her way over to the samurai. Stopping just in front of him and standing on her toes, the fox-tail practically shoved her face into his, noses inches away. The woman's ears twitched as she gave him an approving hum. "I like you!" She declared, giving him another glance up and down. Then, with a grin, she twirled around to his side and snaked her hands around his arm, happily wrapping her-self around it. "Kitty Kat~" She purred, nuzzling into his arm.
Then she looked up at Endrin, "Can we keep him~?" She asked playfully, "I promise I'll take care of him and everything~"
