Cleric - Farmer - Blacksmith ____________________________________________________Hugh stood in front the door to The Healing Hand, staring at the old giant wooden medieval door who's iron ring handles wait silently to be pulled by the next user, why was the farmer just standing and not moving? Simple, it was because he was taken aback by both the sheer size of the...shop and especially the man in charge of it. Barus was a very influential man to say though that's what Hugh's been hearing anyway, the healer was known for the concoctions and solvents used by Londinium's residents and being the only one of the five to not completely sell goods to the adventurers at three times the standard rate. Both the adventurers as well as the People of the Land knew whatever this old man was researching next would be beneficial to the future of the city, that and getting on his bad site could possibly ruin most people's chances of a peaceful life within the walls of the city. That alone made Hugh's legs shake slightly, meeting people like Barus face to face was actually the second reason he picked this quest from just eyeing the piece of paper on the quest board. The first was naturally to help the populace with a possible way to provide better healing materials, who knows when another earthquake could happen.
With an ending gulp and a slow deep breathe, the cleric rocked the iron ring-handles to let the healer know he is to be expected once again, then pushed the slightly heavy door with the same hand. What met his eyes first when he entered the building was a small hallway that was connected to three small flights of stairs, the left held a plethora of reading material from scrolls to even (possibly handmade) books with leather spines reaching nearly all the way down the large shop. A sharp turn to the right rendered Hugh slightly speechless as many forms of flasks and what looked to be alchemist's equipment ranging from deep-welled cauldrons to the many kinds of smells the side was emanating, this kind of equipment looked expensive enough that possibly one long vial would costed at least "10,000" gold, kind. Naturally after being led gobsmacked a slight far too long, Hugh lightly jumped at the sounds of a deep cough.
"*Cough*, do you like what you see, young man?" The sounds of his voice definitely reminded Hugh of his old wise lovely Grandpa, although it was questioned towards the cleric though, the only response was a sharp nod. He felt a little shy, almost more by the way he acted, the old man took this in stride however.
"Haha-! *Cough*! *Cough!* ...It is pleasing to see another face yet again and by the looks of your gear, you are an adventurer are you not?" This was likely Barus, Hugh thought before answering. It was good to see a man like him through all the slyness of Reyla or Captain Baxton's hardness, all in all the feeling was pleasant a straight smile on Hugh for a change of pace. "Yes, I'm am a Cleric, you can call me Lowblow or Solarin, the latter being my family name before coming here", although Hugh liked the grandpa already, he wouldn't be comfortable in a first name basis with him. Gotta keep this somewhat professional!
Barus stared into Hugh's eyes a few seconds longer then the farmer would of liked but it warranted a smile and nod, the old man was resting on a oaken rocking chair beside some strong banisters that connected to both the wall on one end and the final third set of small steps to reach what looked to be both a lounge area and a main research round table where many scrolls (opened and closed) as well as other various books lay about beside a heavily used inscribing set, the smell of fresh ink could be smelt if the pungent aroma to the right wasn't as frighteningly strong. "Well, do you have a reason to come at this hour? I was going to prepare my shop again soon enough, I had some theories I wanted to jot down first", the sight of a small journal entered Hugh's view slightly, possibly one of many for that matter.
"Actually, I was here for the quest about the slime extr-" Hugh was cut of by the joyous sounds of Barus getting up from his seat. "Amazing! I only posted it recently and thought no one would take it for a small while due to the disaster, now. I wouldn't have you go all by your lonesome so please wait for a companion or two, knowing the eagerness of the youngfolk, they should be here soon!" The healer was loud enough to make Hugh think the was about to start dancing on top the round table near him though lucky enough Barus calmed down abruptly with the words "I, must apologise for that, as of late some research has been quite stagnant". Just goes to show his dedication.
By the time he stood up and strolled towards Hugh who slowly paced deeper inside the building, Barus stood on top markings of magic circles that can be seen just about all over the stone looking floor, all inscriptions too complicated for Hugh to understand but it was likely something the cleric didn't want to know at all. The sounds of knocking slightly echoed within the walls of the building to show another person is coming in. Barus's eyes, although not noticed by Hugh's amber drops, looked like he expects the next individual(s) who are coming in.
"Greetings, young one", the old healer said again towards the opening door. The only question in Hugh's mind at the time was How did I not notice the door closing on me? INVENTORY

Ashabel, after finally completing her first quest (and being already tired of her teammates), had finally gotten a nice day's rest; on the rocks around Londinium. Finally rousing from her slumber, she stretched nice and long, actually maybe perhaps reaching five feet in height from feet to hands; or maybe not she wasn’t so sure these days. Releasing her extended stretch she began wandering the town. As she meandered around she noticed a rather tall man, well tall to her, walk into the pharmacist’s store. If memory serves her, the old man Barus wasn’t going to set up shop for another hour or so. ‘Just what was this man doing with Barus?’ She thought to herself as she slowly approached the door. As she stood in front of the door she looked up and noticed the large ring knocker high up, much higher than she can reach. ‘Too high...’ she thought to herself, deciding to attempt a few knocks on the door to get Barus’s attention. Unfortunately her hands were too small and her physique too poor causing her to make very little sound at all. Deciding now that the best bet was to simply lift that ring even slightly would help make a sound. Jumping with all her might Ashabel soared, almost touching the ring before landing with a thud. She did this several more times before stamping the ground in frustration. “Just why did I make myself this short!” She began thinking of interesting ways to get to the ring before utterly failing at that as well. ‘I’ll just try a few more times, I was close before right?’ Wrong. Ashabel jumped several more times, making audible thunking noises every time she landed after missing the ring. After enough time she started to feel like it was a waste of time, and began turning around to walk away in shame before the door started to open. “Greetings, young one.” A familiar voice called out from the door. She had heard the merchant talk several times before when she had perused his wares silently. “Come on in, don’t be shy.” Barus seemed to have known that she was there, yet he was so far in the building. Just who opened this door? Did it do it on it’s own? Ashabel pushed the door open a little bit more and walked into the building, tapping the wall lightly to show that she entered the building. “B-barus? A-are you here?” She wandered further and locked eyes with Barus, whom simply nodded. “Ah, you must be another adventurer here for the quest.” Barus’s eyes seemed to shine with glee, continuing before Ashabel could inquire on the quest. “Another came before you with the quest in mind, come along now you two should get acquainted if not already.” Barus smiled once more as he motioned Ashabel to walk over to introduce her to Lowblow. “This young man is Lowblow Solarin, now if you will excuse me I must prepare for our third guest.” With this swift and hasty introduction Barus seemed to quickly but slowly shuffle back towards the door, awaiting the third arrival. “H-hi... I am... Ashl-...” Ashabel couldn’t finish introducing herself, the man was much taller than her and seemed incredibly intimidating. The only thing she could do was look around the room awkwardly while her face began to turn red before she noticed bubbling potions and chemistry kits. “Oooohh so this is what he does...” Seemingly to have forgotten who’s home she was in, as well as the man whose name was Lowblow was even in the room. She seemed too entranced in the bubbling vial that she hadn’t even noticed a knock on the door. Equipment: Starter Cloth, Starter Staff. Notes: His name is Barus! You may want to fix that. Slowly, Empress would swing open the door "Excuse the intrusion." She would look around for a moment before she would then spot the man in front of her, noticing his status bar, he seemed to be the one to see about this quest that he had put out. Though what caught her eye was apparently she was going to be having team mates. She peeked over at the two, noticing one of them she had seen before. 'Nice kid, not a bunch of combat experience sadly, though the man I have never seen before and a cleric as well?' She had almost thought that this game's female to male ratio was rather high, a 2:1 if not greater. 'Huh' She thought to herself 'Normally, at least in this world, male healers are a rarity, which is a little sad, but I'm not going to argue over it, that's for certain!'She would listen to the man introducing himself, almost sounding like a prepared speech as she followed him towards the other two, a hand moving up to brush some of her curled or 'regal ringlets' style hair away from her face, showing off her red eye and her eye patch quite clearly. A smile was on her lips as she nodded her thanks to Barus before making her way over to the two, confident as ever. She would look between the two and then smiles "Hello there. It looks as if we are going to be teaming up for this adventure. I am Empress; a Guardian, it's nice to meet you." She nods to both of them, smiling towards Ashabel before she then moves her hands to rest at her hips, well one of her hands was resting it's palm on top of the pommel of her sword. After introductions, she would then pull up the quest screen and looks over it carefully. "Well just like this shop's owner might have informed you, it seems as if we are to hunt slimes and the more vials of their... essence we bring back, the bigger the reward." She grins to them both "I don't know about the both of you, but I'm partial to getting the bigger "Bang for my buck" as it were. Though that being said.. I have no clue where this Windsor forest is. Sadly haven't been out of this city for a while." She scratches the back of her head as she would then look between the two of them expectantly.

Cleric - Farmer - Blacksmith ____________________________________________________The cleric didn't mean to stand there menacingly but the reason was he needed a facade to not show what he truly felt. After watching Ashabel do her little shy routine, Hugh almost was obliged to pet her like the small cute animal she seemed to exactly portray, more a cat then a dog due to her being so curious, the pressure was close to the point of making Hugh's forehead bulge a blood vessel. Though it would of seemed he was too frightening for the girl to talk to him, he decided to follow a little.
Squatting near Ashabel so he was almost level with her, the farmer looked through his hair with his beaming amber eyes towards the concoctions brewing. The thought of of those vials were towards helping the people around the city certainly made him crack a rare joyous smile, "Looks cool, don't you agree? ...huh?" Hugh asked faintly towards his new comrade before noticing footstep sounds towards the door, knocking made him question who was there.
Standing up and facing the door, the sight of a tall and beautiful woman entered his vision. "Excuse the intrusion" was almost command sounding, Hugh narrowed his eyes towards her during her little spiel but never voiced concerns until she was finished. Afterwards was very different as his focus never letting up and shadowed Ashabel behind his leg, "funny how an adventurer didn't do enough venturing but from your attitude, I don't give a damn to ask why. Just put that hand of yours elsewhere other then the sword's handle and start acting a little less commanding while doing so, who knows what kind of beast (me) would end you when actually venturing out for once in a bloody full moon if you don't start to change your tone a little..." A growl tempered and echoed throughout the shop for a small while until Barus started to wave his hand.
"Now now Lowblow, I understand you're defensive person but I don't think she meant it in such a mean way. If you're going to fight however, then you best better leave this shop beforehand" The old man grumbled towards his earliest guest and sighed before facing Empress, "I must apologise in his stead for acting lightly rude but it would be in your best interest to fix your stance within his presence at the very least, he's not a lying sort, that young man". Coughing abruptly to show he is done with this current situation; Hugh's wolf ears lowered back into his hair, fangs became less prevalent and his killing intent diluted with Barus' words. It was a start but still he was on edge, he knew some of the stuff adventurers did towards the people of the land and some of us were disgusting to the core, Hugh may of interpreted the situation wrong but his guard was still up by how he protected Ashabel and continued to lightly glare whenever his gaze passed Empress.
Barus however ignored this and trudged on, coursing his hand deeply inside his robes before giving one of possibly many journals a first look through before handing it to Hugh (who graciously accepted it) and then walked beyond both Ash and Low to pick up a bundle of un-used vials which still had corks on them which was silently handed to the curious Ashabel. "That little book posses mostly known facts, behaviours, traits and values about the slimes you'll be up against. Please record as much as you can towards my research, the pencil is within that same book, while the vials are new and slightly on the expensive side so please return any un-used ones", his explanation ended as thus but his actions not.
The old man turned towards the round table and continued to prepare the shop, never resting and always moving. "You should go before it get's dark, night creatures are a large hassle for adventurers like you. Though you most likely would know that by now since the sounds always can be heard in the night", slightly morbid and lightly curious which sounds that could be heard, the farmer addressed the drill woman with a piercing glare before just sighing and shaking his head. "Well then, let's take his advice after we're ready to move, are you ok?" Hugh addressed Ash with a smile while looking her direction, his temperament doing a complete 180.

Ashabel had been too entranced by the bubbling potion, analyzing it and trying to figure out what kind of liquid would bubble like that when heated. From the looks of it, the bottle had some kind of viscous liquid since the bubbles grew rather large from the surface tension before finally popping. “Interesting...” she muttered to herself before the tall woman who had entered started speaking, knocking her out of her trance. The voice she had ignored before, having caught her attention by being extremely familiar, caused her to look up and see the tall amazonian woman. Remembering what had happened the last time they met, she slightly hid behind Lowblow. It wasn’t long until the woman described what they would be doing as if she was the leader; after all that was what she had done before. Apparantly however, her newfound cleric friend did not like this tone, revealing himself as a Wolf Hair as he began growling words at Empress before being cut off by Barus and calmed down. From what it seemed, Barus wanted to ignore the way Lowblow was glaring as Empress, but Ashabel noticed it all too well. ‘Had these two met before?’ Ashabel had to think, and she would have thought more if Barus hadn’t pulled out a journal. ‘Gimme gimme!’ Was the only phrase that went through her head. Messing with chemicals had always interested Ashabel and that journal just had to have some information in it that would intrigue her. The way Barus described the journal just made her want it even more than she did before, and the moment when he mentioned that he wanted the adventurers to take notes for him she nearly squeaked in glee, but groaned lightly in sadness when the journal was handed to Lowblow instead. Ashabel attempted reaching around Lowblow’s waist, reaching for the book as hard as she could but it was out of her reach. She wouldn’t even stop if the cleric noticed her going after the journal, listening for Barus to start speaking again. Thankfully for her embarrassment, he began speaking shortly after handing the journal to Lowblow. The old man spouted that it was dangerous to venture out at night, and that they must leave post-haste. Ashabel understood this, and would follow Lowblow as he left; after all she wanted to stay in the apothecary’s home for as long as possible. The cleric had asked if the group was ready to leave, and Ashabel quickly spouted, “Let’s go!” as she reached once more for the book, missing entirely, stumbling slightly before quickly catching her composure, face turning red as she hid behind her staff. Empress was looking to the other two, thinking that she was going to be greeted with some form of niceties, but instead was met with fear by one she thought was mildly decent and the outright aggression from the other person. She backed up a second and looked between them both, wondering what she just walked in on and wondering if she should just leave. It's good to simply leave before anything gets worse or to at least take a hint when to vamoose. 'What the hell did I do?' she thought to herself. Empress listened for a moment, seemingly completely ignoring the cleric's words and was intent on listening to the old man before she then looks between the two of them. "Right. Now before we get started. I do believe that there is some prior misconceptions to address. Speaking of which, the rude mutt." Her head snaps to look towards the cleric, she was NOT one to forgive a slight against her, especially if it was one that came literally out of no where. "Where I come from, if you have grievances then you take them up with that person in a polite way, away from company as to make a private conversation stay just that. Secondly, I'm willing to let all of this slide until the quest is over, for the sake of common decency, which you sadly seem to lack." She glares right back at him, never one to back down from anyone. "So leader or not, I don't care, but if you jeopardize the quest and/or the team in any way, I will be more than happy to show you just HOW skilled I am with this sword." With that she looks to Barus, turning on a complete 180 and smiles to him and nods her head "Thank you for this opportunity. I shall try and make sure we bring back enough samples to keep you satisfied. Now, the sooner we leave, the sooner you can begin to miss me." She giggles and playfully winks to the old man before turning on her heel and making her way out of his shop. With that Empress opened up her map, wanting to give herself and her would be party members, as wide of a berth as possible right now. She was annoyed, those slimes should be quivering, for she now had some venting to do. It was one thing to be teamed up with someone you dislike, but actually having to depend upon them? Being the responsible person she was always brought up to be, she would put up with it and try to get through with the task at hand, hopefully without any more nonsense. What did she do to get this kind of luck?

Cleric - Farmer - Blacksmith ____________________________________________________ Hugh's wolf ears flopped around his head while the eyebrows twitched by what seemed to him, the woman's arrogance was uniquely unsettling. No matter, personal subjects only get in the way when faced with a job so as long as Empress doesn't try to act much of a tosser later on, he may just be friendly enough even when his race has nothing to do with anything. "*sigh*, sure. Do what you want since it doesn't really change much of the outcome..." The cleric ends up palming his face, shaking his head while meeting the exit.
Noticing Ashabel's attempts for the book in his hand, the farmer ends up crouching down so he meets eye-level with the special snowflake, "Here. You'll probably get better odds of recording then I will ever do it, but make sure to hand most of the vials to Empress since she'll be in front, I can take some of them in case one slips by to our side. Okay?" he ends up handing the book, hoping a right distribution of weight can help build some kind of steady trust against the common enemy, just as long as no one lowers their guard in battle that is.
Looking up at Empress with a questionable look begins to sigh, if Hugh asked something to her now he'll probably get some kind of witty comment, instead he begins to help himself up but not before picking the sorcerer up and resting her on the wolf's shoulders, a piggyback as it were called. Although it wasn't warranted, the old man chuckled from the sight but later getting back to his work with a tad more gusto. "The trek will be long so nestle up there, I've hiked enough in my life before that I am quite experienced, though not many places to hike back in hometown" lamenting a light scenario of his past, the cleric didn't seem held down by any weight and still shown the same uninterested stare to nearly everything he's seen. "Just stay up there for now and read off about some of the Slime's weaknesses while we get there, it'll help us all". Even if he disliked the final companion, he can't really ask her to bugger off because of something stupid like a wrong introduction, he'd have a harder time without her then bickering with her.
Hugh's ears fluttered around, in case she was bored then the sorcerer could just play with them but never really voiced the option out since he took the situation into his own hands, "Let's go, Empress" Hugh voiced as he stepped out of the door so they can start moving towards the quest area. Making sure the exit is clear for his upstairs resident.

“Mmh!” Ashabel made a small noise in agreement as she greedily snatched the book away from him, holding it close to her chest. Ashabel hadn’t been too intimidated by the small spat between Empress and Lowblow, knowing that the two may eventually make up later on. Although if they ended up at each other’s throats, Ashabel would have to get in the way. Ashabel cooed quietly as her eyes glazed over the journal. It looked like a normal leatherbound journal, except that it came from someone as smart as Barus. Opening the book as gently as possible, Ashabel began reading the first line. ‘Dull Green Slime: The Dull Green Slime is a rather strange creature, it seems to have...’ She couldn’t continue reading as the large Cleric hoisted her onto his back, causing her to nearly drop the book. In surprise, her hand clamped down, closing the book while her other hand grabbed onto Lowblow’s shirt, accidentally helping him get her onto his shoulder. She blankly stared forward, taking in the whole situation. Lowblow’s voice could be heard telling her about staying on his shoulder and reading the book for information, but her conscience was too busy focusing on what just happened. Her expression was simply shocked beyond belief, and it took her several seconds to realize that they were finally moving once more. Looking over at Empress, she yelled and began squirming on Lowblow’s shoulder. “Put me down! I can walk on my own! I demand it this instant!” Her voice seemed to travel well as they started to attract the attention of those around them. However after her initial burst her voice seemed to quiet down a large amount, but her struggling stayed the same until let down, the book held close to her body to make sure she wouldn’t drop it. Empress wasn't paying much attention to the two of them, by the time the cleric had said "Let's go" she was already ten paces a head of them. She'd prefer to keep it that way as well, if they want to concentrate their efforts on being 'buddy buddy', then that's fine by her. She was examining the map of her UI, looking it over, noting how long it'd take for them to actually get there. They'd probably make it there, mid afternoon at the earliest. Though normally she couldn't stand long treks, especially in heel type shoes, in this new body, she felt that she was stronger, faster and had more stamina than she did before, in the real world... not that this world isn't real either though. By sometime in the mid afternoon they'd arrived before she then stops and looks around, she hadn't really ever fought slimes before. She did wonder what it was like and how she would handle it, especially given that the supposed healer of the group and her didn't get along, at all. She then groaned to herself, thinking that the cleric was going to try and issue 'her' orders. She just hoped she was able to keep her distaste for the situation under wraps, at least until they hand in the quest, then if she was still angry, she'd probably give him a slap and make sure to avoid him for the rest of...how ever the hell long it would be that they were here, in this world. Empress got out her sword, giving it a few practice swings and then took off her shield, hefting it with her left arm, trying to get used to the weight of both of them and would begin to then stretch out a little. 'Always limber up before strenuous activity!' she thought to herself as she would stretch out her arms, back, legs and just about anything else as well. After a good few moments of that she would then begin to look around, trying to see if she could spot any slimes, she would look around trees, behind rocks.. and even sometimes looking up INTO the trees. She did not know where the hell they were, they could have wings and be floating around, or be able to turn into anything like a shapeshifter! Though she did see one and blinks, a...a bubble of green jello? Really? She would slowly walk over towards it, tilting her head slightly, looking to the other two before she then looked down to it. She would shrug to herself and then bring down her sword, piercing into the blob, which reacted with.. er.. shivering? It was grossing her out a little bit as she would then heft up her sword and swing it forwards, sending the slime flying towards a nearby tree "Yuck."
