Aurora tossed and turned in her bed as the sun decided to grace her room with it's embrace and warmth. She pulled the sheets over her head, trying her hardest to get back to sleep. Though no matter how hard she tried, she just kept tossing and turning. The creaks in the bed kept ringing in her ears and were apparently just loud enough for the people below her to hear. A couple kept screaming at each other to go tell the innkeeper. She could only catch bits and pieces of the conversation, something about it being too early to be doing that type of thing. She heaved a heavy sigh as the couple's quarreling sounded as if it wasn't ending until she got out of bed. She threw off the quilt and got dressed for the day ahead.
She turned and looked back at the bed and saw that her mattress was getting so ripped and tattered that the coils were slipping through. This may not be the greatest start to her day, people are thinking she's some type of deviant and her bed is broken. Nonetheless, she decided to take it in stride, those were only temporary problems that would solve themselves in time. She glided down the stairs to the lobby of the Inn and took the closest chair to her at the little bar. She glanced around until she saw the lively, well-aged woman who owned the Inn. "Hey, Miss Donna! How are ya doing this morning?" She greeted with a smile. "Doing pretty good. Oh, I got a complaint about your room not too long ago. I know what you do is none of my business, but do keep it down. Now what will it be? The usual?" Donna swung around to the back wall with a knife in hand, cutting bread with expert skill.
"Yeah, I heard them talking about me...I was just sleeping and the bed was creaking every I moved an inch. No funny business. Speaking of which, can I ask to get a new mattress? The one I have now has springs popping out everywhere like gophers. And I know how off this sounds, but I reiterate, there was no such thing going on", much to her chagrin she couldn't help but smile at Donna as she worked. It reminded her of her mother and she could always appreciate a hard worker. Donna turned around and placed a plate with a sandwich in front of her, "Sure, darling. I'll see about changing the mattress out for you, just make the new one last, will you?" Donna laughed at her joke. Aurora took a bite of her sandwich and savored every bite from it as if it was the most delicious thing in the world. As soon as she was done eating, she left the Inn and decided to into town.
As soon as she opened the door, she was greeted with a man's despair. She winced back and looked around trying to find where the this banshee-like shrieking was coming from until she saw Captain Baxton and a bawling man standing adjacent to him. The man was screaming that he needed help from anyone or he was going to suffer. Intrigued, she casually made her way over to the source of the commotion while his crying kept ringing in her ears. "Hey, what's the problem?" She asked, trying not to look annoyed from all the crying still echoing in her head. From what she could tell from all his babbling and blubbering, he was a farmer, that immediately got her attention all the more. There were boars ransacking his fields and needed someone to stop it.
She gritted her teeth together, knowing full well of how devastating it is to have your crop fields destroyed and no one to help. "I'll help. No problem at all," she said looking to Captain Baxton, locking her crossbow in place and tightening her fist with a gleam in her eyes. A fire has been lit inside her due to meeting a kindred soul, she wasn't going to waste time for his sake. Her Wolf Hair features appeared as she jumped onto a rooftop by using the little crates from below. She took in a deep breath before screaming at the top of her voice, "HEY! I NEED HELP SETTLING SOME BUSINESS, ANYONE WHO ISN'T BUSY, I WOULDN'T MIND THE HELP!"
