The smell of the clean air veiled Low in amenity, the soft yet cold breeze made him reminisce of his life on Woodslake farm, his Grandparents' estate was where the his siblings and himself learned the important lessons of hardwork and determination. Hugh remembers the place as a haven for his free mind, thoughts of the world beyond his at the time small farm truly made him understand how much of a frog in a well he had become since moving in. Thoughts skipped around in the wolf's hair as his body began to move once more, the calm pacing of his steps caused the clinks in the armour to rattle with every step, though the methodical nature added towards the calming feeling.
Nevertheless, Low still felt overwhelmed by the sheer catastrophe that was The World Fraction some time ago but chose to take his time learning the mechanics of this new reality. One such mechanic was Quests, the cleric had already applied for several before so the process wasn't foreign to him by any nature, he just remembered the quest detailed that his first pit-stop was towards the quest giver: Reyla Okari, weaponsmith and unqiue fox tail. By the time his thoughts turned to mere ramblings of what kind of weapon Reyla was going to give him, Low made his entrance into the weapon shop itself. A chime of a door bell and a cheery "Welcome!" greeted him as his stature swayed inside, "What're you here for...mister-adventurer-wolf-person?" she inquired swiftly, before Low was even able to register a greeting back.
Hugh noticed a multitude of things that built Reyla's character, the relaxed and leaning posture behind the counter, the fluttering fox's tail and lastly her conniving gaze made you know how excited she is to meet a new face. "A que-" Low's words were overshadowed by the happy-go-lucky smith before he could even finish, "For my sword, yes? I was waiting for someone to help me with that!" The never seemed to have an off switch it would seem, "But before I'd let you trudge along with my baby, where is your partner?", The bullet-hell of banter died down once she stopped to expect an answer. By partner, she'd most likely meant that I'd have some company, like usual, Low thought as he shrugged an answer to the smith. "Have to wait then..." She responded with a nod in tow, "You're the boss" Hugh quipped with a smug.

Count 'em:469Jams:Never MoreRamblings:Let's Go!Willing Victims: Lowblow Serena sighed as she sat in her room of the quaint little Inn that she resided in. No matter how hard the burning star was beating against her skin, she couldn't quite gain the motivation to move from her bed. Flashbacks of her life previous to the Apocalypse ran through her head, she wondered how her mother was doing. Her Aunt. Her Uncle. She wondered if anything had changed on the outside world. These meandering thoughts were the reason for her lethargic state. Every since she came to this world, she never had these thoughts. She was rather excited to the new experiences that this palce had to offer, but the reality started to sink in. Whether or not she'll be able to return to her home and if everything will be the same if she ever returns. "I...can't stay like this, I have to get my mind off this," she slowly sat as if she was being lifted by invisible strings like a marionette. She took her time getting prepared and noticed she didn't have her crossbow as she usually would. She looked to the side to her partner that was hung on the wall, debating whether she would take it or not. Another sigh gingerly left her mouth as she made her way to the door, leaving the crossbow propped against the wall. She darted down the stairs and left out the front door of the Inn, she looked around through the bustling streets of the little town. She trudged through the streets until something caught her eye, she had no real goals in mind. Anything would have sufficed at this point, no matter the difficulty of the situation. Aurora happened upon a weapon shop through her absent minded traveling, "This place should do." She heard two people talking from beyond the door, sounded like something that could possibly get her out of this funk. She took in one deep breath and walked in, to her surprised it was someone she was once acquainted with previously. "Hey Lowblow, how are you doing?" She asked, glancing to the Fox Tail proprietor. "Well, he was waiting for someone to help take my-" her explanation cut short by Aurora's sudden enthusiasm, "I'll do it, no problem at all! I mean, I'm not up to anything and I have no problem working with this lug again." This could just be what the doctor ordered, too much thinking and brooding was never her thing. "OH! My name is Aurora by the way, I don't think I had the pleasure of meeting you before, Ms.Fox Tail." "R-Reyla...Reyla Okari," having the wind taken out of her sails, the weapon shop owner didn't know how to react. 瑤光

Hugh didn't expect to meet with the forgetful assassin so soon in his adventuring career, and so quickly had his eyes started to peer beside the newcomer's waist, the belt held no crossbow this time but did carry her bolts. Someday you've got to get your equipment in gear, his thought paired with a timely sigh. "W-well then! I guess I found my duo for the day?" The fox regained her chirpy composure with a rhetorical question, hand gesturing towards the group to wait before ducking back into the workshop. Sounds of frantic iron and other items moving about could be heard from beyond the door, the house's insulation clearly wasn't up to scratch but it would seem no heat leaked through the workshop, which is likely what Reyla was going for.
At the end of it all, Reyla stumbled in half-exhausted and clutching a wrapped sword. Placing it onto the counter like delicate porcelain was enough to gain Low's entire attention as she unsheathed it, his neck lowering down slightly just to grab a better look at what this sword maiden created, something that was already battle ready. The item in question was a ninjatō, the weapon sported a unique triangle tsuba who's blade was roughly 2 shaku in length while the tsuka was only .5 of a shaku. It's overall look was much like a short sword that was designed to be held in the off-hand due to the short handle, the weapon did look unconventional due to the rigid straight blade but such could be said some western weapons too. Like the sword breaker, a weapon made to snap or ensnare thin bladed weapons like a rapier.
Reyla made sure to sheath the weapon before thrusting it outward towards Aurora, who would likely catch it if she pays enough attention to it. "You don't have a weapon so you take it! Also Low, I trust you to safeguard the girls life okay?" The weaponsmith's smile turned slightly sour as her hands started to grab the air around it, missing her precious blade already it would seem, "Mhm, you're the boss...let's go then". Hugh could only nonchalantly nod in agreement before he showed himself towards the exit, opening the door so Aurora could be let out first until closing the door himself. His steps walking towards a boar range nearby but outside the confides of the city, checking if Aurora hasn't strolled off already as he posed a curious question, "So are you going to use the weapon or try to chuck stones? One would likely do better then the other..." He doesn't know if the assassin has any skill with a blade, he sure knows her ability with fisticuffs but nothing truly concrete.

Count 'em:489 Jams:Binks' Sake Ramblings:I woke up at 4 to do this Willing Victims: Lowblow When Reyla unveiled the weapon they were supposed to test out for her, Aurora took a minute to glance over the blade. She didn't know much about swords and the like, but one thing was for certain from the glistening of it's sheen, anyone could tell it was well-made and forged with patience and dedication. She was lost in thought at its' magnificence, she admired the hard work and love that went into making this blade. She could only daydream about how long it took to make this sword, the process of blood and sweat that Reyla had to go through. It was truly awe-inspiring. The Fox Tail broke Aurora out of her daze when she forced her sword into the little girl's hands, "You don't have a weapon so you take it!" Before she had a chance to speak up, Reyla quickly tacked on, "Also Low, I trust you to safeguard the girls life okay?" Aurora heaved a sigh, she wasn't too keen being a damsel in distress or being protected. She thought that she was more than capable of taking care of her own hide. The sword's weight was something she wasn't quite used to, it was going to take awhile for her to adjust to it. Forget the fact that she's never used an actual blade before. Aurora noticed that Reyla was grasping at the air, already missing her child. "Um, before we go, do you have a sheath for this child?" Aurora asked, not wanting to keep it clutched in her hands and accidently put nicks in it with her horrible handling. The weapon shop owner stammered before rushing into the back and bringing back a wooden scabbard. "Thank you," she said as she put the lone sword into the wooden sheath. There was a weird satisfaction in having a sword at her side, she couldn't quite place it though. She looked back and saw that Lowblow was already at the door and had it open for her. She slipped past while keeping her clutch on the hilt of the sword, she always appreciated hard workers no matter their trade. She walked beside Lowblow, following his lead. From her experience it seemed as if they were heading for the boar field. Her ears perked up when Lowblow asked if she simply planned on using the weapon they were given or tossing stones. She knew was an unorthodox "assassin," if you can ever call her that. She'd rather deal with the problem with her fists, that's just how she always rolled. "I guess, I'm going to be using a sword today," she would just have to put blind faith in her character class to pull her through until she can actually figure out to incorporate her own movements into her actions. 瑤光

Aurora's new to a sword? Hugh thought, it's understandable that most adventurers would be inexperienced with this kind of in-person fighting, the irony of this fact would likely still persist every time a new one of us is created, if the fact that the disappearances come unnoticed. What would happen if in this situation, all of the adventurers are not directly transported inside Elder Tale but a mere copied version? The thought can be more plausible if aliens exist, the thought of this is likely wrong though, Hugh would like to stay as a realist thank you."I'll tank for you then, you can go around and backstab or slice them up. If your aggro wins out then I might have to hold them down..." Hugh has wrestled with animals before, though this wolf is not confident he can keep on pulling any enemy weight, especially those boars who keep on chasing that certain guard for whatever reason. Hugh soldiered on by the assassin's side towards some kind of open clearing outside the gate. When peering towards the walls of said gate, the architecture of the building reminds him of old Tudor stone castles and the glossy moss creeping upward can solidify the fact these walls have stood the test of time. Are they fortified by magic? Or do the guards rebuild them with the same rock that crumbled down? Some thoughts about Londinium's boarders rise some interesting questions, but those will have to wait since there is a quest at hand."What kind of mob do you want to sink that sweet edge into?" Though she didn't really have much of an option other then the usual slime or meaty boar, testing on both couldn't hurt right? The next answer could be helpful, though slightly predicable given how one mob is easier to kill then another. Unless you use magic however.

Count 'em:428 Jams:HEROES Ramblings:Let's get it Willing Victims: Lowblow She pondered the thought of what would be the better target to test the sword against, it was really a toss up between one of two mobs they could really contest with. Not to mention their current party can't handle too much of a huge pack like their previous venture with Frank and only testing it against one creature defeats the purpose of their job. A mix would probably give better results that they are looking for, the only problem is that she never dealt with slimes before. Guess it's time to overcome that little obstacle. "How about a mix of both boars and slimes?" It seemed like the best course of action, but dealing with the boars may pose a problem if things gets too wild. It'd probably be best to keep the boar count low if they didn't want to be roadkill. She ruffled her soft pink locks when she scratched her head from thinking of several scenarios and plans of action, which only served to make her head hurt. "Yeah, let's roll with that," she said noticing a couple of boars stalking around. It's time, let's go, she thought as she unsheathed the sword from her side. Just two little morsels ready to be devoured, should be easy enough to handle. She took aim with the sword in hand as her racial features became more pronounced. With a sharp flex, she threw the blade as hard as she could at one of the boars to the far side without trying to alarm its' friend. She took in a quick breathe and dug her foot into the earth before using Accel Dance to race the sword and grabbed the hilt before it met the mark. She stood above the boar, she golden optics shining down on her with sword overhead. The poor little slab of bacon didn't notice the figure at all before feeling a cold stare coming from somewhere. It look at her with fear in its' eyes, it stood frozen staring at the girl's contorted grin and fangs. She brought the blade down in one swift movement against the piglet's back, forcing it to the ground. It let out a somewhat loud squeal to call its' only friend over for help and as it hoped for, it came charging. Aurora fell to side, tightly gripping the sword in her palm. She shook her head and braced herself for the next attack. 瑤光

"「Divine Might」!" Seeing as how Aurora flew towards her first prey much like Noct from Final Fantasy, Hugh was left trying to catch up to her while surveying the landscape, turning to buff their attack since felt this was going to take long without the buff. The armour he carries rattles from every step taken after the spell, the sight of another boar comes into the wolf's field of view as his person reaches closer to the assassin. Shifting his direction from the first downed boar. Hugh decides to shoulder ram into the charging boar and with enough force to topple the target into the ground, he swings his staff that was tied to his body and jabs the old piece of wood right into the beady eye of the low levelled predator. With the boar's right eye becoming inoperable, the beast starts to wail much like his other fallen comrade, the thrashing sent Low back several steps and gave enough time for the animal to stand back up, albeit still quivering. With boar #2 focusing on Low for the time being, the wolf voices out towards the other pack animal "Aurora, you can take care of that boar. I'll be playing about with this little critter until then" Hugh smirks after bracing for a prepared charge from his opponent, the hit collided with significant force and sent him further then he initially thought but the wolf ended up gaining steady ground after the mob's legs started to skid across the small clearing. The encounter ended with a deadlock of weapons, Hugh's hand and wooden staff against the boar's rough hided forehead, eventually the lock broke with Low pivoting his waist and moving his legs in the opposite direction. This caused the boar to fall flat on his face, the boar once again became vulnerable to some kind of attack and Hugh didn't miss this opportunity. The types of attacks were limited though, only whacking with the blunt weapon only proved enough to anger and slow the beast, the wolf made sure to deal as much damage to it's hind legs as possible.

Count 'em:589 Jams:DREAMCATCHER Ramblings:Am I Chaotic Neutral? Willing Victims: Lowblow Aurora tightened her grip on the hilt of her partner while a wolf ears sprouted from her head and a tail appeared with a flourish. Her body felt stronger than it did before, it was probably thanks to her other partner who she saw making his way up. Watching Lowblow tackle the other boar away lit a fire in her belly for some reason, like she was ready to go full force without reservation. This must be something that wolves feels when an ally is nearby, didn't think a game would emulate it all the way down to that degree. She inhaled a small bit of air before dipping lower to the ground, she felt her Accel Dance was still in effect. Her adrenaline was rushing and her heart was beating faster than ever as the pig that she made cry came charging at her. She focused her sights on it with her golden orbs, biding time for her to strike. As soon as it was in ear shot range, Aurora flipped on her Tongue of Nature and began to speak in a sickeningly sweet tone, "Think about your next move carefully, you hear?" The pig stopped dead in its' tracks unable to fathom what it actually heard. It gave her a puzzled look while she answered back with a sweet smile. It had no idea how to handle this situation, it was something about the little girl that was ringing alarms in its head. It started to back away whiled shivering, "Wh-what are you?!" She dug her feet into the ground then with a twist, she vanished from the boar's sight. It franticly looked around for the pink haired girl, but to no avail. She tapped the rump of the pig, she felt the chill run up its' stout spine. The uncooked pork turned around slowly and faced the little girl with the sword overhead again like before. Déjà vu. "Just call me the Big Bad Wolf," she said as menacingly as possible before quickly bringing the flat side sword down as hard as she could, leaving the wobbling back from side to side. She pressed onwards, continuing her attack, stabbing the sword into the ground and flipping over it with her hands still tight on the grip. She brought her heel down first against the disoriented pig's head then dragging the sword through the earth to swipe against the swine. The pig fell over twitching momentarily before eventually going slack, may it sleep well. Aurora flexed her fingers and her body before checking the sword's condition. It seemed just as sleek and pristine as it was given to her. Not too bad, especially since this was her first time handling an actual weapon besides her crossbow that she rarely used. She placed the little child back into its' home while looking around for Lowblow who may or may not having been Greco Roman wrestling the other boar by now. She wondered why she felt the urge to let her old self out, a passing fancy? Though she had no problem with it, she would rather keep her wits about her. Ever since coming to this world, she felt happier but guess the stress can still take a toll on you if you keep certain feelings pent up. Must be another reason why she felt homesick earlier. Thoughts of family and the haughty girls who were pests in her daily life, as crazy as that may sound. 瑤光

*Clank* ... *Pant*
Low peered towards his fellow cohort, Aurora and the sight of her wolf attributes became more distinct by the second of her tussle with the pig. The way she flashed around the battlefield with that short shining blade gave a sense of daunting verdict for her foe, and as the farmer's own wolf ears pulled out from under his bushy hair, the first creature was dead. So sad it can't be roasted, such a waste of spoiled meat!
*Clank* ... *Whimper*
A hungry smile, delirious expression spoke through Hugh's eyes while his wolf tail slithered out of the cold, hard plated armour the beast donned. The sight of a stumbling boar beside him was the wolf's target whilst the sounds of his armour rhythmically sung the beast's doom, the animal knew this and wanted to run away, bloody drag marks was it's only gain.
*CRACK* ... *SCREE*
The sound of broken bone came first along with a ghastly screech that followed, Low struck the thin and poor hind legs of the boar like the farmer scythed grain. The practised attack was fluid by his stance but the power only hindered due to the weapon he held, this made the man happy since he finalised that all those previous years of cutting the field was worth some value still, even if it wasn't for the right purpose. Eventually he'll have to fix that.
The farmer huffed out all that built up air he subconsciously contained at once, "All yours, I highly doubt this thing will be able to move anymore...We'll try slimes next, then a possible combo of both?" He questioned the assassin, ignoring the slowly dying cries of the boar as its beaten frame laid in the dirt, the pig slowly realised his help was gone by the second he tried to fight that big hunk of metal. A true Reaper in the Rye...

Count 'em:226 Jams:Modern Strange Cowboy Ramblings:Plans in progress Willing Victims: Lowblow The wolf girl slowly approached the pig that was barely on its' last legs and let out a shallow breath before taking the hilt of the weapon at her side. She lowered her stance closer to the ground, seeking to end the poor beast's miserable life. With a quick slash, she cut the last thread that held this poor morsel to the mortal plane. She eyed the silver steel that she held tightly in her mitts, the pristine sheen still gleamed off the burning star. It felt great to wield a weapon, this might actually turn he on to using weapons and not just her fists. Though she still preferred using her fists rather than anything else, she'd had to find a way to research a way to accomplish her goal. She sheathed the blade back into its' home then looked at his knuckles then to her tail that was swaying from side to side. She tossed around the thought of making a weapon that best suited her as her race, "Maybe..." It was an idea that would take time and a trained body, but she thought she could accomplish it at some time if she procured the resources to work towards it. She looked at Lowblow while pointing off into a random direction with her thumb, "Shall we go?" 瑤光

Flinging the long oaken staff over his shoulder, Low pouts slightly by the way his partner's gaze travelled to and fro from his rugged hands to her fluffy tail. The light thought of tails sparked a motion in his own, the usually tied down animal starts to wander about the ground, attempting to kick up some ground but to no avail. "Urgh, Yeah. Sure, let's get those stupid slimes over there" Hugh nods in the direction the slimes came while whacking his tail in an attempt to stot the blasted thing from moving, failing miserably he decided to forget about the thing entirely. Eventually it'll just stop on it's own, like usual, this is one of the only things I hate about this race of mine he thought while walking up to one of the new opponents. The wolf, now towering above the small lime green balls of (possible) gelatin variety caused the beast to stop in his tracks for a moment in curiosity. The slimes' height is vastly dwarfed by himself, causing him to bend slightly over the mob to get a better look at the 1/2 a metre tall enemy. "They're...not as cute or funny like what I imagined" Slimes were an obvious staple in just about any MMO, RPG or both and for that reason, Hugh decided to get a good look on how the monster's body is conformed before tackling them as an enemy, in case he has to take on an even larger variant of the same type of enemy. He was able to get so close due to their non-hostile nature, even picking up one of the weird things didn't alert it of any danger, though Aurora would likely scare it off or provoke it sooner rather than later, knowing her personality. "Hey, you can just use them as pillows or something, as long as you don't squish them to death anyway..." He pondered, cupping his left hand whilst his other hand gripped the slime an arms length from him; the slime slowly moving about, generating a sort of ripple effect from it's constant source of movement.
After enough time of inspecting, the wolf threw the squishy toy to the ground and with a quip of his staff, the hard end of the oversized stick stabbed into the first creature he plopped onto the ground. No sounds other then the brunt thud of hitting something made from soft plastic, the strain of rubber on wood scrapped as Low lightly backed away, pulling the staff out with a confused expression; he couldn't believe the noise fit the creature. But oh well, time won't stop the beat-up! "Interesting, sorry for playing around with them so much. Guess we can just start playing around now eh?" Psyching himself up for the fight coming; although sudden, Hugh advanced with a sweep of his staff, sending a couple non-grounded slimes into the air where they were rendered helpless.

Count 'em:440 Jams:Night Surgeon Ramblings: Willing Victims: Lowblow Aurora saw spotted the small group of amorphous blobs and slowly approached them, even though they weren't the most hostile of creatures they could still pose a threat if provoked enough. She took a squat next one lone that was minding it's own business, assuming they were remotely sentient in any way. She poked and prodded and it's jelly like body, watching it shiver and shake like jello. The squelching noise it kept making slightly disturbing, but other than that she found it to be quite cute in a weird exotic creature kind of way. She gave a slight laugh when Lowblow brought up the idea of using them as pillows, the little blobs probably wouldn't die from being laid against unless it was with enough careless force. If anything they'd probably envelop the head and cause you to suffocate from lack of oxygen. Which brought up another question for her, do they need air to breathe if they're in a game? She tossed the idea around in her head, only to stop because it was starting to become a morbid vision and she didn't want to test the theory herself.
After Hugh swept the slimey couple into the air, she grabbed the slime she was playing with then tossed into the air along with its' airborne brethren. She popped the blade from its home after flicking the hilt with her thumb from her off hand as she quickly rose to her feet. With a florushing spin, she threw the blade at the gaggle of slimes. She dug her toes into the ground before using her race's strength to jump to the slimes and grab the sword by the handle. She swung her sword in a wide arc, cutting the three slimes into six. It was like cutting through silk, no resistance whatsoever. Which was quite bothersome, she couldn't tell whether the slimes were done or that they were still alive.
After she had fallen back to the mother, she noticed the slimes weren't moving in the slightest. Guess it was over for them. She looked at the sword she wielded, Reyla really knew her things. They didn't so much as linger after they were cut down, even though they were flimsy slimes, she expected them to have some fight in them. "Didn't think it'd be that easy," she said as she sheathed the sword. "You think that's good enough for a test run?" Aurora asked as she slowly approached Lowblow.
