I GET ALONG WITH THE VOICES INSIDE OF MY HEAD
Weegee sighed as he munched on an apple, pulling himself up on a tree limb with a single arm as he practiced. It was one of the days he wasn't going to meet up with Austrina to look for their friends. He was getting rather bored as he hung there, watching the flow of people pass by below him. Heights seemed to calm him, mainly because he knew he couldn't, or well, wouldn't, be surrounded by too many people here. They were all below him, unable to close in around him like a vice of evil.
Pulling himself onto the branch, he simply sat and watched them walk, like ants going and coming from a picnic. He chuckled to himself as he enjoyed the warm sun. He closed his eyes as he remembered some of the days before he had started this game, and found himself trapped inside its world like everyone else around him. He looked down upon the people once again, watching them like he would do most days. No one seemed familiar, no patch of blond hair that seemed to stick out from the rest like Indy's. Scrunching his face up into almost a scowl, he looked as closely as he could at the people below, before he leaped down from the tree.
It may have been nothing more than his imagination, but he thought he saw someone who looked familiar, and they were headed this way. The crowd was thin enough thankfully for him not to be harshly affected, though he did have to ignore the racing of his heart.
