Hey guys,
So I'm on the lookout here for any other adventurers who could be interested in a guild that is a bit less... set... in the whole 'upholding of law and order' thing that seems to be the current theme of things. Our guild is definitely being made, we have enough characters - just waiting on one of us to reach the level requirement to form the guild. In essence our guild would hold more in common with Brigandia from the Log Horizon canon than they would with the guilds of the Round Table. Not quite as extreme as Brigandia, obviously - they are two dimensional and evil without really having a reason for being so, whereas we would be more interested in establishing an 'anti-rule of law' guild to support the status quo as it currently stands - AKA; anarchy and freedom, that has a legitimate and logical reason for its actions. This guild would see the killing of other players, looting and even the killing of people of the land, as not really all too big of a deal in the scheme of things. While not necessarily evil, the members would recognise that death is temporary and that the people of the land are as much NPC's and as much of a threat as any other monster in the world might prove to be.
We would be more concerned with ensuring that our members have freedom to pursue whatever interests they might have, and in protecting our members and other adventurers from other guilds trying to implement the rule of law, in the Elder Tale world. Pretty much - we would be the guild in opposition to the forming of any kind of 'Round table' alliance in this universe, and ensuring the continuation of the current system of anarchy and freedom of the individual.
Think of this guild as more of a collaboration of people who, for whatever reason, don't want to see any form of government imposed upon adventurers in the new world. We are happy with how things stand, and want to maintain this new found freedom that we possess in Elder Tale. They think of themselves as freedom fighters, and defenders of the people - though are likely to be seen as anarchists or terrorists by those more aligned with the law abiding factions.
Basically the only 'rules' that this guild would uphold are the following:
1. Defend the right to freedom possessed by all Adventurers.
2. Fight against any implementation of the 'rule of law' from the old world, in Elder Tale. It's a game.
3. Defend other members, and do not fight with them except under the most dire of circumstances.
Some of the names we have been tossing around as possibles are Tempus (Time, in latin), Free Radicals or (mine) Sanctuary (playing off the idea that the guild is a sanctuary for those who would oppose the rule of law). Name ideas are welcomed, if you are interested in signing up. :)
Any interest?
Current players are Quinn, Aka Kitsune, Argenta and Severence.
