A bell tower. Gears grinding endlessly against each other. Time ticking by as the minutes run the gears, turn into hours and split into seconds, each gear placed with care in mind as well as wear, always trying to catch the time as accuratly as possible. Anything can go wrong and so it did. Nisha, who had slept soundly on top of the roof of the bellfry, just below the bell felt the vibration of the bell slowly wavering and moving to strike another hour. She had never been one for alarm clocks and only woke up when she either became too annoyed by someone trying to wake her up or when she felt it was something happening that could be interesting. Also, why she was sleeping high up and potentially risking her life? Quite easy, she liked high places, the higher up the better and so she had walked around london at first and slept on tall trees when she had been in the camp near sarum, but that one had finally fallen to the hands of another treeworm as she had begun to call them and so she had decided to migrate back here, after much walking around finding a tall belltower with a nice view of london right there and then. Deciding it was where she would from now on place her head at night if she was around. She had already gotten used to the place, the bell was not loud enough to wake her, there were few players around and the lander living in the church seemed to feel more safe with her around, even letting her eat with him from time to time. But today it was different, he had been rushing in and out of the church with a worried look looked up at the tower and then rushed back in, Nisha had not given it too much of a thought and had not had two thoughts on it, seeing how early it still was and decided to just sleep a bit longer and find out what was going on later. But the vibration she felt in her whole body were different from usual when the bell rang, they seemed unhealthy and off, even waking up Nisha before a single small sound was heard as the clapper inside the bell hit the skin of it and produced a sickly and weak sound so small she did not know if she liked it. Climbing to the edge of the roof, she bend over it and let go to fall into the bell compartment. A ladder lead down to the clock tower where all the gears were spinning in and Nisha decided to find out directly from the source what was going on. After much yawning of her and nearly falling off the ladder twice trying to have her tail grab the ladder, part of her training to make her tail stronger, she found the lander and asked him what was going on, noticing that as she asked it, a quest suddenly popped into her hud. 'Slime Bell' it´s name. Sheesh, they really could not come up with something more original? Listening with half an ear to the lander, she found out that indeed the clock tower would not work until someone took care of the plague of slimes that were periodically gathering in and on the gears, eating the oil and smudge in between had been taken care off. Seeing how she did not feel like cleaning all of this up by herself, she told the lander to not to worry and began walking the short distance to the city, her ears twitching a little in annoyance over something getting into her way of a restful sleep and sat up a quest sign as soon as she got to one of the many billboards in the city, adding a meeting point at the fountain, right across one of the more famous or imfamous, depending how you looked at it, bars. Leaning back, she decided to wait at least an hour or so while playing around with the lander children and her tail dipped in the water, wondering if she could fish something out of the fountain, maybe some lucky coins, so that she would find people interested in this kind of quest or just wanting some money or whatever. Bast had been sleeping away his morning in the park. He knew he would look easy picking or even destitute doing this but he had dozed off there at night and didn’t really feel or care to move that much. At some point he wasn’t sure when or exactly how, if it was a prank or just a joke of the wind but someone’s bird seed or bread crumbs he hadn’t been paying it too much mind had arrived atop him. One thing led to another soon his morning was to be forced to an earlier rise than he wanted, with a flutter and a peck his morning began. He was up though unwilling as it may have been; deciding a good meal might brighten up this dismal start of a day he headed off to the closest bar he could find that he knew sold a cheapish breakfast. Taking his time to at least brush his hand through his hair to get some of the mud and bugs that may have decided to move into it for the night, he hoped he’d combed it into some sort of appetizing appeal, so that he could “persuade” the bartender he was at least decent enough to serve rather than just look the vagabond he felt like and so be able to buy himself some grub. Walking past a quest sign on a billboard he took not that the location was just off the way of a different decent meal and drink joint, one that was still offering him a tab. Well this was his lucky day, he would take the detour to this pub grab a meal and then hopefully earn enough to pay off his tab, maybe even buy a cider and a beer and make himself a snakebite or two. Making note of the quests objectives he wondered off to get a bit of breakfast…maybe he would try getting something to go so he could eat at the meet spot, no point being late and missing out on a quest opportunity. Though it took a lot of pleading and some reluctant coin exchange he came out feeling slightly pleased with himself, sure he had, had to pay for half the BLT ( Bacon lettuce and tomato) sandwich now he would hopefully earn back enough to pay back the rest on this quest and if he didn’t well it was on his tab, he would just have to make the next visit when he had earned enough, to pay for it and not go into his weapon savings. Taking a few large bites he knew how little of this was in fact bacon and how much was in fact slightly stale old lettuce but well a meal was a meal. Taking a seat watching the fountain, he waited for those who would join this quest to arrive. Maybe that fox girl with the wet tail was the quests creator or another who joined, maybe not. He had time to wait, and eat he would try greeting anyone that looked like they could be readying themselves for a quest after he finished his breakfast, and only after he finished his breakfast. Taking another bite, he really did wished there had been a little more bacon to this BLT. Words: 547

Skill Heavy Anchor A long winded yawn began to beset Nari on a warm morning, or what Nari thinks its morning that is, Not caring for the time and bored out of his mind, Nari gets off his couch, sees the mess from what was supposed to be last night’s meal, now all chewed up by either mice or Nari’s bad sleep eating habits, speaking of food, Nari was hungry and he is a VERY wolf today, Nari decides to eat out instead of eating in for once, but first Nari needs to take a shower and do the daily routine, like take the trash out, blah blah, you know, all the boring stuff an adult does as all ways, after the daily routine has been finished, the giant wolf with his glaive and shield thinks what he should wear… the new butlers uniform that was sent to him by a crafting guild, which also has no armour at all? Or the most effective armour Nari has at the moment? …Nari decides to choose the latter for this time, “I should really get on cleaning the neighbourhood that’s for sure…” Nari says out loud in his apartment, again as all ways, not caring what people say about him, Nari put’s on his gear, deciding not to choose to wear his helmet this time, “don’t want to scare the crap out of other people that’s for sure”, Nari cares for the other citizens of Londinium and for his safety also…
The day was anew but the setting has not changed in a while, the mucky roads and pathways are littered with all kinds of bits and bobs, Nari once saw a little plastic green army figurine with a little green gun you can attach it with too, but when he wanted to go look for it again, he ended up getting lost yet again, “must not stray away” Nari thinks to himself as he walks by some fruit stores, deciding that he should take a look, Nari peers at one of the fruit stores, the clerk greets Nari, and Nari does the same to show respect, having a further inspection with the fruit, Nari buy’s a couple apples and an pear since “might as well as get my ‘five a day’” Nari thought with a perplexed look, because of the look Nari notices a familiar scent, a little fluff ball… THE little fluff ball, Nisha… with a long winded sigh all out of nowhere, Nari faces the bored-like looking Nisha and replies with a “straight to the punch” question “what the hell are you doing?” trying to sound as friendly as possible, the six foot wolf hair glares at Nisha in a “friendly yet with the ‘what the hell are you doing’” look, seeing as though she’s wetting her own tail and playing with children, doesn’t seem that evil, now does it? Nari again makes a semi-long sigh, and gives some fruit to the children, they scamper away like the chipmunks at the first encounter with the fluff ball that is before him, seeing a quest with a stupid name has been send to him and a party invite for the quest, nearly forgetting that there was an half-alv eating an awful looking BLT sandwich(Nari has lived in London for a while when he was a child), and asks for him to join in the quest and pulls out and apple and points it towards the Bard “why don’t you eat this?, it looks better then what you’re eating now that is”, with a weird saying question bellowed out from his voice box, Nari waits a reply from the little samurai and now the bard that is before Nari.

It was nice to cool down a little after feeling so annoyed and hanging around with the kids gave her a feeling of accomplishment, as if she had already done her good deed for the day or something like that, also it was funny and interesting sicne the lander children even though programmed could spend a whole day just playing and having fun with players or adventurers as they were called here. The Ai was really top notch and if Nisha did not know better, she could have believed they were really in anotehr world, but the interface and all the other stuff was still there, so it was pretty clear that their consciousnesses were just caught in here and there was still a link to what they had been before. Even though she would only get to her real good deed later actually when she was done with the quest. Nisha wondered if the lander she would help out, prepare another yummy meal, fish and corn and all the good natural stuff all on the ladden table as she and he sat around it and feasted on that stuff. Nisha had already tried to help in the kitchen, but what she prepared did not taste all that good, or rather just like any mass produced adventurer food from a non cook and helping fishing was a no go as well, seeing how she had the wrong subclass for it. Instead she had opted to clean out the cellar of the frenmic rabbits that had taken refuge there and even gone and taken out some boars nearby and brought their flesh back to grill. Barbecue at it´s finest and a day she had enjoyed as much as any other in this world, but with better food than usual. Yawning as her tail flicked some water on a kid, she saw that another guy had come by and was in her party, her hud and menu were half open and she could see who was joining her party. She had limited it to four since more would just muck it up and made it four because it was a huge clocktower... Alone was a no go, two would be work, three would be a piece of cake and four would be too easy. Perfect. The third name gave Nisha some worry, since she had seen him too often, but at least he could pull his weight and was a nice guy. As long as people had that going for him it usually worked out. Not that Nisha cared about those, for her it was important that he was interesting and he was usually. Squirrels and all that included. Looking at the other person who had joined, Bast, she waved at him to come closer with a broad smile and her tail still in the water. Hearing a sudden booming voice beside her, Nisha´s eyebrow raised itself an inch and she wondered why he had to be weird on top of interesting. Sighing slowly and carefully so it would be audible, she saw how he shooed off the kids and turned her head toward him with a tilt. "'Hi Nari, how ya been? Knew something this weird would attract you." Nisha chuckled and jumped out of the fountain and right in front of the wolf hair, flicking her tail so that most of the water would fly on him, hopping away from him after feeling a bit more dry, walking closer to teh new person and extending her hand in a greeting, careful not to stand with her back to the fountain though in case Nari planned on revenge. Nisha would just jump behind Bast as defense. "Nice to meet you, name´s Nisha, ready to whack some slimes? And don´t mind him, he is always like that. Actually, I think if we finish it quickly we should get some homecooking from the lander in there, it´s quite tasty. So, wait for a fourth person or go?" Nisha asked the last sentence into the round, since few people were around, she did not even have to speak up much since there were barely any sounds aside from the early rise lander children who Nisha wondered if they had school later on or if they were all homeschooled. As he was finishing his BLT the party seemed to have assembled well at least they were greeting each other in a manner that could be called a shake down for one of them but hay the speech and action spoke volumes of some relationship between these two even if it was beyond him to know what it was, it seemed innocent enough that no one would come to blows… not that a guy that freely offers food even if he does it while making slights about your own choices. But hay it deserved slighting so no biggy. Shaking the fox tail’s hand he took note of how she was positioned to see both him and the wolf yet was closer to him…but that was for the hand shake of course nothing to it…right. ”Nice to meet you too, I go by Bast in here I guess. If the kids hadn’t been scampered off I would have suggested telling one of them or their parents to point any fourth member in the direction were going and the location name and left it at that but now guess we might as well head off three should do right? Or did it look a serious enough problem that we would need more? ”Bast wouldn’t say he was being sly with this question but he was trying to work out if the lass had given all the information some might take on a heavy quest with the minimum needed to maximise profits for each, others ask for more for ease or company. He just wanted to make sure of which this was, was that so wrong? He hoped none f this suggestion came out in his demeanour as he asked but he had never had much of a poker face, never mind how his mind worked, so he just hoped she was the same in these matters. He turned to the wolf ever so slightly to let the lass mull over her reply and was about to offer his hand to shake when he noticed he was offering it down as you would to a dogs paw…now he wasn’t sure this would be taken as a racist slight to his person but he was not going to risk an apple on this as much as a small part of him wanted to try it. Well maybe the majority wanted to try it but the logical part of his brain had an apple to dangle in front of these parts and he quickly changed to a normal kind, greeted by a strong hand shake he wasn’t sure if the man had noticed or if he just had a good grip. “Nice to meet you, Nari was it? Thank you for the apple” taking the apple as the shake ended he was glad the man didn’t grip it hard or this might of made a laughable picture…he he too bad he wouldn’t of been laughing himself. He took a bite of the apple it was scrumptious, ok the wolf hair’s previous comment of his food was deserving if this was the kind of crunches and munches he just gave away what did he eat for a night well done. “Um yes well I’m ready, after I finish this delectable, so if you’re ok with three Nari I’m happy to go, hell I can walk and eat if you want to get started right now.” He wondered if the man could get his hands on cake, Bast would be cannon fodder for twenty no fifty dragons for a slice of chocolate cake. But somehow he guessed not, but Bast could still dream. ”Ready? ” He looked from Guardian to Samurai trying to encompass both into the conversation while not wanting to have them thinking too much on how stupid he felt he had acted to them both moments ago. Skill Heavy Anchor The weather was clear, and quite refreshing, the day was quite spoiled from the little fox that he keeps running into though, she has the power and the audacity to fight a bunch of golems with a bit of ease, although everything seemed to go down the “rabbit hole” yet again, this time the bard joined, Bast, a half-alv with a goatee, what else can anyone wish for more in this world? And a pretty epic goatee at that too, while the smell of fresh water fills the wolf’s nostrils, Nari is met with some splashes of water which he kindly accepted to cool down his armour since it was a pretty hot day too.
“Thanks for the cool down, you little fox”, Nari said with a mellow tone, it actually was quite refreshing to have cold water splashed on your heavy steel plated armour at time like this, that’s for sure, seeing as there are crowds of people down the one of the pathways, and more food at that is being sold, Nari can’t help but notice someone else looking forward to food, but he can’t put his finger on it though… weird.
The Bard asked the fox a question that perplexed Nari, “why would we need another member? Some say fours a crowd you know?” with that cold statement clearly showing that Nari has no care for anyone else that joins, apart from “you know who” and the others like Nisha, just for a split second, Nari had just noticed of how to be a “Scoria”, though it was just for a second… tired for some weird reason and not caring even if he had to climb a mountain for whatever reason, Nari half-heartedly replied to the bard, “fine, I’ll join in, I’ll be the tank, Nisha and you Bast will be the DPS, if you can, support me will you?” Nari with a cold leaders stare started to talk, then silence erupted, Nari getting slightly annoyed by the silence broke it by saying “what are we waiting for? Doomsday or something? Let’s go already, I’ll be at the back following, if there are monsters either side I can stop it in its tracks ok?” with that the party decided to move, with Nari at the back, closely listening if any enemies spring up, looking at the quest log, “kill a few slimes? Is that it Nisha?” Nisha and the Bard where in front Nari as they walked.

Nisha tilted her head as Nari spoke, he was in quite the poor mood and reminded Nisha of someone, even though she could not really point her finger on who, but no matter, at least one of her party members seemed to be in a better mood. The thought that Nisha may have pissed off Nari with the water did not even cross her mind as she walked over to the bard and whispered: "He is usually in a better mood." And chuckled lightly afterwards. Nisha usually had no idea how to handle grumpy people, or rather grumpy people did not know how to handle her, since Nisha did not care at all for grumpyness and just acted normally toward them, even Scoria who had been the master of grumpyness in his own rights, a stone faced cold austin had not escaped Nisha´s usual normalness and had even gone as far as praising Nisha at the end of the quest, making two thirds of everything Nisha had heard him talk being a praise toward her. Well, Tsun-chan or caer had not been much better, but she had opened her mouth at the end and even had said sorry for whatever, Nisha did not know and had a feeling she would never find out. But Nisha had been happy about the words uttered and had been unperturbed by the quiet before, sharing her thoughts with whoever was around. Happy go lucky as always as people often told her, close minded toward those who might feel down and open minded to herself, saying what she wanted. "Well then, let´s go on an adventure. I guess we can just as easily do this with just us three it´s a huge clocktower, but it should be doable with just three of us, oh valiant tank." Nisha said as a tease toward Nari, who once again had without doubt declared what was to do without asking the others for their opinion first, just going for whatever he felt like even though he might just have waited until they had started talking about this stuff. "So, Bast, how are you this fine morning?" Nisha yawned as if in reply to her own question and her tail bushed up as she did, while she got little goosebumps from yawning too long, shaking her head to get some sleep out, she put up a finger as if to say 'wait' and walked back to the fountain, her ears flopping down on her head as if in expectation of what was coming next and then she put her head under the water for a few seconds... some more seconds and after a few more came back out, shaking her head like a wet dog it´s fur, spraying water everywhere. She had taken those few moments to slowly enjoy the coolness of the water as well as how warm it already was out. Indeed it would become a very nice day if it did not start raining as it some times did in and around London on the tip of a hat, well, at least they would work inside and be safe from the rain if a downpour should happen. Nisha did not know if she could get sick from normal means and did not really want to test it out, sicne being sick was pretty high up on her list of things that were definitely not funny or interesting if it was not one of those sicknesses only lasting a schoolday and ending in the evening, bad enough to stay home, but not bad enough to not play around on the internet. She phewed and sputtered out some water and wondered if she had really seen a goldfish in the water of the fountain, well whatever, turning back, she said: "Ahh, thats the stuff, you were saying?" Nisha asked since she would have most likely missed anything while under the influence of water over her head and her ears tightl pressed against her head, Nisha had taken a whole day training her ears to do that, if had been excruciatingly difficult training, but she could now flop her ears down at will and move her tail at will and unconsciously like she wanted it, even though it was not yet strong enough to do more than wipe over the ground or dexterous enough to pick something up, but it was fluffy. That was a very strong advantage of her tail. Nisha wondered if that was already counted as a status effect, the fluffyness of her tail and the head under water, but no matter, Nisha walked back over to the bard and flicked her tail as well as her ears to get some water out of them before turning and walking backwards toward the church where the quest would be happening. "What have you two been up to so far? Anything interesting?" Walking into a stranger lander, she did not apologize, but gave him a toothy smile and went on with her wandering, the path was pretty clear once they were out of london, since the small gate they would pass lead only to that one church and clocktower, making Nisha wonder over and over again if there was more to it than just a church, maybe it had been planned to make it a small village or something and then forgotten? Nisha did not mind though, since this way she had her quiet up there and a little extra check point when walking out of london as well as some easy money low level quests whenever she felt like it. Maybe it had been a bad idea to get help from anyone, but it was now a thing she would not weasel her way out even if it meant that some people might find out about her favorite sleeping spot for now and maybe even visit from time to time. It was not what she had wished to happen, but she could not really handle all that work alone and have fun doing it, but with two more people she should have fun doing that and... She looked them both over, they did not seem like they enjoyed high places like her, so maybe at least her sleeping spot was safe from them for now. Once they would reach the church, they would already walk up from the side the door of the clocktower was pointing to. This nice white church with blue painted windows, red roofs and the small chimney out of which always crawled a small stream of smoke from baking and cooking which was about the only thing the lander living there ever did. DPS and support well he had two main skills for this a nifty bit of prediction from where enemies will spawn and a move he liked to think of as his “copycat” attack where he could use the same technique anyone of his allies onto the same target, neither straight up spoke volumes of how he would aid others but he was sure he could find some use for them. “Fair enough” was all he could think to say to the wolf’s commands, and soon they were off. He had some light conversation with the fox on the way their but for the foggiest he couldn’t think what he had said, she seemed to have a manner of wandering off to enjoy her surroundings on the way there, he could remember slight conversation he started from a question she asked, Bast went off on a tangent about his wondered what exactly cutting at slimes did to would them, with how did they have some blood to lose as well or organs to pierce or how would that work biologically would they be more afraid of soup and chemical removers instead? He knew in this game world it worked but he wasn’t sure how it would it would biologically “removal of mass from the whole and collapse after a certain amount?” But with her wanderings and his tangents the conversation kind of left him from exactly what all was said. The wolf on the other hand seemed to be very organised and straight to it even with his movements heading for the door of the church first as if expecting enemies from the get go leading as the “tank” should in first position. Following behind in a more casual manner Bast looked around, it seemed calm enough the smell of cooking filled the place and it reminded his belly there was such a thing as brunch or at least lunch as well as breakfast, trying to take pay it no mind no matter its hints and grumbles he continued on if a little part of him slowing to take in the whiffs of the foods glorious scent. Bast looked to Nisha, drooping as she headed up and not into or even close to the kitchen following pursuit he followed behind the two, checking his equipment to checking this time to see if he had at his last point equipped his axe in his second hands slot or his harmonica, you would think he should be able to tell by the wait but he still felt silly as he had once pulled his axe up to play a tune for a lass in a pub and got no music out of it, that could have been the drink but he made sure, he was Sword and harmonica equipped today and not going to start playing music with an axe. The whole problem of this situation was the height between the slimes and the group which consisted of one tank and two DPS, this wasn’t that bad though because of the levels of most of the slime where level 1, again another problem was that the slimes were lodged in between the gears and cogs that made the clock go “tic-tok” so the only way to kill them and free the massive clockwork that was slimed up from those green pricks was to take the assault to them.
The stairs going upward where covered in the goo that the slimes produce, making it unable to walk up, the last thing left to do was to climb up via the cogs and gears itself which will be a hassle since all the slimes are there, waiting to ambush anyone that’s not a slime, that’s the only thing that was going through Nari’s head at the time, he gestures to Bast and Nisha and comments “be careful and stay behind me, the only way up as you can see is via the gears, let me take the damage and you guys deal it, ok?”, that explanation was as straight as a line and as clear as wind, Nari then puts one leg on the banister that stops anyone from falling of the stairs, Nari uses his force to jump across the semi-large gap and barely manages to land on two feet on the gears, surprisingly the gears and cogs where able to support the heavy guardians’ armours weight.
After nearly dropping several feet down probably killing himself because of it, Nari soldiers on with shield ready, he thus climbs up the gears like walking up stairs, though some of the cogs where on the other side of the tower, Nari looks up and sees the two huge steel pillars which support the clockworks gears and cogs, this is going to be a long journey up a very big-ish to get tower, Nari jumping from one gear to another, again nearly losing his footing but then saved by Nisha’s tail surprisingly. Smiling, Nari thanks Nisha for the help and continues the trek up the pillars of steel via the cogs, seeing as that there was no monsters in the first halve of the trek, now the journey is going to get harder with the arrival of those slime buggers, three Dull Green Slimes, all level 1 and appear to challenge the three that were in the group including Nari, the slimes take the advantage and jump from a higher point of the gears and the three of them smack onto the wolf hairs shield, oppressed by the force, Nari braised for the attack earlier and flung them three onto the other cog that is connected to the one that the group is standing upon using Nari’s shield.
Taken a bit of damage, Nari asked for the other two to make a triangle formation and follow his lead, first Nari attacks and then the other two will proceed with a followed-up attack, then rinse and repeat, basic formation and attacking it is.

Nisha was pretty excited, sure she did not know if she could trust these two with the secret around her sleeping place, but fighting with two other people and at least one person she trusted in a battle to quite a degree, seeing as he had fought quite nicely before and was a good guy through and through, even though a bit overly active and trying to act cool even though failing quite often and weirdly often trying to take charge where there was no need to, but he meant well. And bast seemed like the kind of person you could rely on when it came to it, but seeing as the space in the clocktower was at best accomodating and at worst small, if they could not get a team work in, they would most likel fail it. Nisha was not above raising her level back up if it was needed, but she wanted to see how well these two would take care of the problems presented to them. Walking into the clocktower after Nari, she was once again feeling dwarfish in front of the huge and small gears, the sheer size of the clock tower and the sadness of none of them moving, the silence that sounded more sad than even a whail. The wind breezing through the clocktower sounded like a wheezing old man about to become breathless just like the gears had become motionless. Pulling out her sword, she looked for a short moment at her grimoire. She ahd chosen scribe for a reason, but lately she had noticed that once she picked up her grimoire as well as her sword, she had a hard time hitting stuff. At first it had been of no matter, she had just used it and things were slow anyway, so she had hit, but once they were of a higher level, hitting got more problematic, sure golems were even slower, but anything beyond that was a sure miss nearly once she had two weapons in her hands. Thus she had started to either use the grimoire or her katana and not both at the same time. Activating her lightning armor, which gave her a plus to movement speed and a one time shield, she rushed to the first slime crawling out from under a gear she could see and struck it with her katana with anice over head slash, just barely being able to stop herself from hitting the gear it had crawled out from. "Guys look out that you don´t destroy the gears, or can one of you repair these?" Nisha asked as she struck another one taking half of it´s life away, the only thing that was weird about these slimes so far was the color, due to them absorbing the oil and grime in the gears, they had a blackish color with some traces of their original color as blotches here and there. Nisha knew she could not use most of her skills since most if not all of them were ranged or too destructive and seeing how little place they had to fight anyway, chipping away at that seemed suicidal. Rushing around and trying to keep the slimes at bay that were pouring out of the goles, she jumped on several different cogs and slashed away, her movement speed making her look like a blur as she rushed past the two of them, twice barely being able to stop in time to not fall to her untimely demise. But it was a very high tower, if they took this long on one level, how much time woudl it take to reach the top and make sure no slimes were left? While climbing up he felt he probably should have switched Sword for axe instead of his previous choice of the axe for harmonica choice simply for the hand axe’s smaller space and so wouldn’t be catching on anything if the gears started moving again since the stairs were a no go. As the fight started he was still far happier with the sword though for having that bit more reach meant he could stab and retreat without having any part of his flesh touching the slimes… the memory of a slime gripping and burning through his flesh with its own acidic version, the memories flooded back to him… why was it always slimes, gritting his teeth he pushed his anger into his strike slicing a large chunk off from the targeted slime. Trying to make himself follow the orders of Narihama no matter their necessity, just to relax out of those memories he stepped back into formation with each strike he made, ticking off in his inner head back in formation, strike each time while adding any random declarations in priority if they arrived such as duck and get out of the way one Nisha said as in her blur and movement a slime went flying into the spot I was last standing, making a stab into it to watch it die I noticed the oil and screws left behind, this place would need a bit of work to, be in any happy condition after this. Bast pondered Nisha’s words as he spotted an old tool kit and pondered about the pouring slime as they sloshed from cog to cog. There had been three at the start as the guardian had got them into formation and the roof and mechanisms gaps were letting more in he was sure of that with how the samurai blurred around the place chaining hits, and how he himself had struck at least one down. There were more at least coming to this level, but could his low level knowledge of mechanics help in this situation at all. “Urmm yeah I am a Mechanic class so I can repair some of the wreckage. To be honest I’m better at taking things apart to look at them than repair but it’s just the same thing, in reverse for the most part. The rest is just a little bit more technical spit and polish, just don’t go overboard and we should be fine with, I think, yeah we will be fine with a bit more wear and tear, I can fix that. ” Trying to give a confident grin part of him re read through what he said and felt like slapping him for sounding so un-reassuring but that was that. That same part of himself felt he should look for whatever was blocking the gears movement, did slimes make nests? He didn’t think so but he felt their probably were some key points that if they could unclog might get the gears working with them to get rid of these vermin. Though they might also make getting to the next blockage harder, with the new added movement, glancing about he wondered on these points while going back to Narihama’s hit and reform stratagem in the meantime. After the fight with the slimes and successfully winning without any loss from Nisha or Bast’s sides, the continuation of the trek up the clock tower had gotten worse, the more slimes tried to attack the more aggro which was put on Nari, even one time he nearly died just from tanking the enemies, “if I can die from cannon fodder like these slimes if I’m not careful, there must be an explanation on why there so strong at such a low level?” Nari asked to himself as they took a break since there near the top now.
Nisha hadn’t brung any lunch or so did Bast for that matter, with a sigh and kindly smiled for the first time on the quest, giving some of his lunch which consisted of a couple of fruit and little pie which Bast was very excited to tuck-in to, they all where regaining Health because of the mini rest and food, “when you’re ready, let’s head on up shall we?” Nari asked the other two, “as always, I’ll be the tank, Bast if possible I’ll like you to use ‘Maestro Echo’ if possible to finish him off, Nisha I’ll like you to deal with the other small slimes around him if possible, don’t want anyone to die because of a stupid accident” with a little harsh tone at the end Nari finished off his explanation “be sure to remember that we’ll be using another method of position to make this plan more effective, we’ll be using the ‘line position’, I’ll be facing the boss, Bast will be in the middle and either helping with Nisha but mostly chipping the mini bosses Health, and Nisha, you’ll be aggroing the entirety of the other slimes, this will be a very important part to it, make sure that none of the slimes go next to the mini boss or the boss will eat the smaller slimes to regain Health ok?” trying to explain the situation as much as possible, Nari waits for the rest while resting next to the mini elevator via massive ropes to reach the top.
Looking into the tower abit more, it would seem the gears are turning a little, though it’s a such a small amount it would practically be seen as the gears not moving at all, probably because of the slimes which have not gone and attack the group are still staying in the gaps between the gears, “don’t know why they’ll stay there if we’ll end up killing there ‘leader’, no matter though” Nari sighs as he comments about the slimes that are hiding within the gaps of the gears.
Ready, the group are going up to fight the mini boss…

Nisha was not even sure what was going on, but apparently they had gone and defeated the majority of the slimes in one fell swoop, most of them going down after one or two hits, the substance the slimes were made out of was all over the place and dripped from Nisha´s weapons and clothes, it was to be honest, quite an ordeal for her. Not because she hated slimey things, but because it was slowly getting more difficult to move in the soaked clothes and her arm was getting tired from all the fighting she had done. Sure, Nari was taking all the hits and all that stuff, but the other two behind him were busy as bees to get the steady income of slimes under control. Some of them they had even missed because there was such a huge mass of mucus on the lower levels now that the new coming slimes were swimming in it, good thing they had slowly crawled up their way from down there to up here. But Nisha did wonder where the time had went and how Nari knew all these things about the boss, maybe he had encountered him before? Whatever, Nisha did not even care anymore, since she knew that Bast could repair the gears, she was holding back less and even used some more skills, well, not the big ones, because they were all at the moment level one as well as because Nisha knew of the damage potential the upper samurai skills had and that no matter who came after them to repair would not be able to do so without magical powers. One of her golden shining fingers alone would most likely obliterate most of the gears and blow a nice hole into the tower. And if they wanted to ever get any reward for this mission, Nisha knew that destroying the home of the person who would give them the reward was not going to help with getting food and maybe a nice bath, though actually it was kind of weird how they had to clean up anyway, since the apocalypse, this had become much more of a hassle where before it had been a fade to black or a single button. Which made Nisha wonder how people who had chosen opposite gender were faring now with their new body. She just had to grin at her thoughts and barely missed how far up they were. Just a bit higher and they would be below the bellfry, but this area was quite nice too, she had slept here too once as a rainstorm had washed over the place and quite literally nearly blown her off the tower. She sighed at her decision to only use chain one skills like her lightning armor which she had just activated again, she had so much cool skills now, but no way to use them right now. It was that time just before the miniboss fight to start and Nisha was ready to go. But she definitely would not mind a little break in between the boss and the minions down below, seeing as they had fought since... Nisha did not even know how much time had gone by, but it was enough for other bells to toll midday and that meant lunch, not that Nisha felt all that hungry, all this slime was getting on her nerves, but it also repressed her hunger quite well. Even though she had been quiet until now, mostly because of the slime spray, she now opened her mouth and blew some parts of slime away from the corner of her mouth, she did not even want to think about how bad it had to taste, slime was probably already friggin bad, but slime mixed with oil and grime, no thank you. These things had exploded sometimes and it was definitely not a good kind of explosion. "Sheesh, Nari slow down a bit, won´t do any of us any good if any of us die and our quest is to drive them away not obliterate them all, as long as we defeat their leader and most of them as well, they should leave, after all it is a quest for low level players." Nisha added and leaned on a wall brushing over her clothes with her hand. Since she did not even want to get the slime into her fur, she had long since used her innate race ability and hid her tails as well as her ears, making her hair flow down and giving her a somewhat different look. Weird that she had not used it before, but it was definitely a nice change from always having to deal with her tail like that. "Are you alright Bast? Want to rest up a bit or take on the boss right now? I think we should be safe here for a while, anyone want an apple?" Nisha asked and if anyone would say yes would produce an apple out of her inventory and throw it to whoever asked for one. Nisha was not very hungry, but had a need for a bath and rest after this was over. Bast wasn't sure how long they had been fighting the minions and some part of him had been sure he had watched multiple slimes combine together to make a bigger slime but they had cleared it all up even if it was a mess. Both other members were freely offering food and he was never anyone to pass up free food, probably thanks to his time as a student at university, those years usually make you glad for free gifts especially food and he hadn’t stopped this love simply because he was in another world. Pies weren’t his thing usually but it was good pastry so even the taste of gravy couldn’t put him off. Nisha’s apple he ate gladly while checking up on the gears, it was hard to tell exactly where all the damage was under all the slime but with some polish and a little budge work to realign something’s knocked out of place it seemed fine. As some of the budging of gunk and cogs made way for more movement he tried to keep he had to start moving his fingers away a bit faster but it was still moving at only about ten percent of the speed it should be moving. Ten times the longer day would still be the clock telling us the time...kinda. He soon realised that they had asked him if he wanted a break and not as most his old mates would have done and forcibly taken a break simply to make sure people were ready, gone to the lue and had nothing cooking that would need them to run off to grab (its happens), woops he had just gone into wonder and repair mode after hearing the words boss and break and thought it was a boss break. “Um that was nice a nice apple Nisha… thanks for the pie as well Nari. Sorry about the wait everything seems fine here if a little slimy ehh so onto the mini boss eh”. Getting into the declared “Line formation” he remembered the other mentioned part “Umm If you want me to use maestro echo, tell me when you are going to use an attack skill on the boss slash mini boss, or any tough minions he has I will echo the strikes from then, or would you rather me keep activating it as the cool down passes and use on same one of you, to double up all your magical strikes for 30 second periods with the 20 seconds after period leeway for changes of orders on that. It’s a good move but making sure whoever has it on them is able to chain off magical attacks for the 30 seconds it’s active on them means knowing who to best use it on and when they are ready or their own cool downs will waste the extra doubling.”Bast talked off in a manner having no idea if Nari had known any of this when making the order or just knew the attack was called a finisher and Attack support skill. “Tell me what you want from it or I’ll just activate it as it seems appropriate, which ever suits me” while saying this he made sure that he had his skills in their hotkeys so he could visibly see there cool downs he took them out to stop himself using them and try to use the unique method of this world to activate them but even if he activated them that way it was best to use the hotkeys to keep track of the cool downs. Waiting for the reply he had one last look at the clock tower and wishing that he had the time, plus manpower and was allowed to completely disassemble it simply so he could understand it completely and maybe make a few tweaks of his own in reassembling but alas he would have to keep with the boring repair half of the job rather than the fun intricate work of taking it a part to see how everything worked. *sigh* ah well another day maybe. Listening up ready in the line, he turned his attention to the problem in front of us instead. The Building: Level of Slimes Cog Damage Cog Rotation Word Count (Mechanic): 697 Tags: Nisha Narihama

With the little speech from Bast directed to Nari, Nari ended up saying “don’t use the skill on me first” Nari pointed towards Nisha who was still getting the rest of the slime out of her clothing “you’ll use the skill on Nisha when she is fighting the other slimes” the expiation probably made the situation even more ‘weird’ with that, with a small chough Nari gets his gear ready “what I mean is that Bast should use his skill on Nisha when she’s fighting against the other slimes when I use my anchor skill to pin the boss down for some seconds, when I’ll tell Nisha to use Denkosekka which will increase movement speed, ‘then’ the use of maestro will happen, the two of you will change positions to attack the boss at the last moment, most likely killing the boss and the fight won” Nari stopped the explanation there and asks the other two if they’re ready.
With a nod reply from the two of them, the trio walked into an elevator that looks like it’s just being supported up by some kind of rope “not a safe place to be in when you’re so high in a tower like this, that’s for sure” Nari made a reply to what he thinks about this box that’s taking the group up towards the final fight in the boss of the ‘dungeon’.
As the three look up, all they can see is the massive bell of the tower and as the elevator reaches its destination, the anxiety flows through the wolf as the three exit the elevator, seeing the gate shut abruptly and the rope sends the box down quickly, the ground under the three start shaking.
Nari could smell a faint smell of burned rubber in the air, as black slime drips from the ceiling a couple of meters away from the group, Nari with his glaive and shield ready looks to the other two, “get ready!” Nari then turns to watch the slime continue to pour onto the ground, a mere seconds pass as the slime forms rather quickly into a massive hand that is stationed onto the ground, roughly a couple of inches taller than Nari, the hand had a yellow ring on its slime hand palm, with the hand clenched into a fist, it points at the group with its index finger, possibly taunting them? No, it was calling the other slimes to come out of hiding.
With the sudden noise of the bell quaking the earth that the group is standing upon, little spats of slime are shot from the bell above them, with a quick look up, Nari sees that a lot of the slimes have been hiding on top of the bell, stopping the joint from moving at all, but now that the slimes have left it be, the noise of the bell hurts Nari’s ears greatly, even wincing upon each clang of the gears moving the bell, “this is going to be even more difficult than I thought” Nari said out loud, turning towards the other two “Change of plan! First we kill the slimes in our way, then proceed with killing the boss together! GOT THAT!?” with a roar at the end as the bells ring the floor of the battle arena, Nari faces the slimes and roar as loud as he can, some slimes back away but not all, a level two slime charges towards the wolf, with a block of the shield and a swipe of the glaive, Nari knocks the slime back in line.
Nari turns his head towards the two to see if the message was clear enough, if so, Nari and the others proceed to fight the other slimes in their way.

Nisha had not heard what Nari had said once the bell had started to ring, but she did not need instructions for the next part, it was not like he had to draw a map for them for every step, they were neither bad at this game nor could not see what was going on. Sure they had talked about what they would do and Nisha had added to Nari´s plan as they had said how to use stuff by saying: "Well, denkousekka is not an attack skill, but just use your skills as you see fit. The slimes around the boss won´t be much of a problem and if things get extra hairy I will just push up my level again, since I am usually level twenty five, but since this is supposed to be fun I will wait as long as I can before bringing out that, since it would be just unfair for the enemies and the food will taste even better when we work up a sweat, right?" Nisha had laughed, would not listen to any complaints about this, since it would only happen if they should fail, but as long as they did what they were supposed to they would be fine. She had looked at them eating and wondered why they were so raring to go and kill the boss, it was not like they did not have some time to make haste later once they had waited for the slimes to regenerate a bit and give them a fighting chance. After all they were slimes. And even now, after driving all the way up with the elevator, by the way, Nisha had not nodded and it would have been weird if Nari would have thought or imagined so, since she was just jumping up and wondered if she should take the stairs instead. She liked these stairs and had so far not used the elevator up. She liked skipping over steps and acting as if she would fall just to enjoy the sight of the clockwork working mechanically below her. But since Nari wanted to go with the elevator apparently, she had decided to follow him this time. Back to where she had started, just below the huge bell she had grown so accustomed to ringing in her sleep and not waking up from it. If anything it gave her nice dreams everytime she heard it before closing her eyes, but now was not the time to think about sleep. Apparently the slimes had not only been stuck in the gears, but even on top of the bell, preventing it from moving, the whole mechanic propped full of them and now it rained slimes as the chime tolled for the battle to start. Nisha as said had not heard anything, or even tried to hear what her team had said, instead she had just ran off toward the first slime that had formed from particles of slimes and used her denkousekka as she slid across it, her blade on the floor, slicing through the buttery slimes as she ran, cutting three open that had just formed before she activated her next skill after sheathing her blade to get the quickslash bonus damage, hoping that maybe bast saw fit to copy her upcoming attack. Running and then falling on her knees, she slid through the slimes and activatedher fanshaped attack, called shunsen, that would destroy the slimes that would spawn in that area, giving a clear path for Nari to run at the boss as he had wished, as long as he jumped over her attack, which should be easy, he would be standing at the boss. If not, he could have some fun taking some smaller ones, Seeing how she had walked off from the group a few feet, she walked back quickly slashing here and there, hoping bast had not taken damage from stray slimes. Apart of Bast was sceptical as Nari got into the elevator sure it could be faster if it worked fine, but the pulleys and cogs that these slimes seemed to love the idea they hadn’t taken up residence in any of the elevators mechanism seemed unlikely so he activated his Fortunetellers Prediction to see if 5 meters above or around had any slimes forming? No newly forming Slimes at least, ah well it should be fine and it’s not like a chance of falling or being trapped in an elevator moving at who know how godly slow it would if it hasn’t got any more motor access than the main clock but he was always happy to try stuff out and if it worked… Well that would just add another reason to declare in his running bet that questioning if we are stuck in the game or in another world. As it started moving he awaited the drop he so wanted to hear cables breaking rope or metal or the tell signs it wouldn’t work but as it did he grunted, “Game shortcut huh dang nab it”. It function perfectly fine, it erked him a little that he was going to have to look into the biology to try explain the slimes reasoning and all to disprove his own discovery. But he wasn’t the kind to hide such a sign a game design beating the idea of natural choice so he solemnly swore he would find something he must not lose another bet. As the lift neared its destination he started to see the spawning signs there were a lot of them gulped. He picked up his harmonica and readied to play the echo on nisha as soon as the elevator doors opened. Nisha was through the doors as soon as they opened though Bast wasn’t sure if she was walking out at that moment into a memory or a battle with how she was walking. Following pursuit was Nari heading towards his boss for his plans and the guitar sound effect echoing his harmonica begun while he stepped out on to the floor and left any chance ideas that maybe the cable would snap and show slime damage but nope, no such luck (though he wasn’t sure if that was good or bad luck that wasn’t there). The flash as it fully activated combined with the bell sounding out its displeasure at our arrival, and many more than Bast had Predicted with his skill dropped down after spawning, not that Bast could see the horror as they fell, the light of the skill on a harmonica really was distracting but as he looked from it, the sight struck home. Just Like day one so many slimes. He unsheathed his sword with one hand and sheathed his harmonica with the other though the word stuck or pocketed might match matter with harmonica’s placement on his belt. He listened to the echoing beats following Nisha’s first strikes in combination killing her original target and swiping death and an opening with others apart of him wanted to watch those 30 seconds as an echo slightly weaker as it follows my stats rather than her own armour and samurai versions taking up the strikes but the echo’s following a beat behind hers seemed to be doing the trick, and he had his own problems he noticed as the bubbling gulp of a slime doing its best to move towards Bast and strike him at the same time occurred. Bast’s sword met the slime at a curve as Bast decided what the hell let’s just enjoying sending some slimes hit points flying and who knows maybe even some slimes themselves. He knew the basic plan would have changed as he saw the large amount of slimes so when hearing Nari calling it out in the distance as bast ears still rang was quite cute in away but faded parts he heard seemed fine, kill little slimes, he kind of guessed the rest was not target the boss yet but didn’t fully hear that part So couldn’t be sure, so when an opening appeared thanks to Nisha’s strikes Bast wasn’t 100% on if he was doing the right thing or if Nari wanted to sprint forward if he did, they would regroup in a bit he supposed, and took another thwack at an incoming slime. He was enjoying the ringing a bit it went well with the gulping of the slimes to make him think of the monster mash intro from his half broken old headphones, woops felling goo swallow one of his shoes he got the same sensation as anyone who stands in dog shit, that sensation of this is just ruined the moment. He re-enacted the same sequence anyone who has taken part in dung to shoe relationships and kicked at it, slid it across the floor and flicked parts off with the closest thing to a stick at hand which happened to be his sword, gladly it came off a lot quicker than it had on day one so maybe the grease and oil was helping it slide off, but gladly the experience hadn’t left him too damaged from its acidic touch but the black oil and green patches left covering the wound around the edge of his sock might have made him afraid of infections if this was the real world, or if he hadn’t died once before and known it isn’t all it was cracked up to be in this world at least. Looking round he saw that he was close to a lot more slimes than before after his little act but while he was looking round he decided to look at what the others doing and if he would have an opening to regroup or if he should just keep, to this free styling of a slime massacre. Part of him felt this was definatly a good game if it was, maybe he wouldn’t mind losing that bet, he had gone for the long shot on that one after all. Although the boss was still taunting the party, it would seem that they have no interest of fighting such a big slime one on one that for sure. The thought daunted on Nari as they were still fighting the slimes as they kept coming from the cracks in the ceiling and the top of the bell but just as Nisha cleared the way for probably Nari to get through, the Slime boss reacted to the sudden clearing by grabbing one their own slimes beside the brute and started to rip it apart as well as throwing the remains at not only Nisha but the entire group.
Nari who was shocked on what the boss did, “this is not what the boss did back in the previous server!” Nari shouted in his mind as the slime first hitted him, it was corroding the armour Nari had on and with that sudden happening Nari began to find a way to quickly take it off as it started to corrode his body, the slime itself started to even corrode his skin as the Wolf was taking the now useless piece of armour as with Nari wincing from the sudden fiery pain which felt like he was in a house fire and was trapped under a massive scaffold of the said house, creating a dense feeling that didn’t go away and lingered as the force of the slime was still on his body; Nari who was trying break the slime away from his bare chest started to notice the Boss getting ready to throw another chunk of the acidic slime at Nisha.
With the prying of the slime on Nari’s chest was unable to occur, the Wolf began to run towards the fox with speed, trying to get there in time was a hell experience and that fault was the slime on the Wolf’s chest who was starting to seriously hurt his lungs now and there was no time to waste in with a sudden echo towards the Bard and the fox, “Hey! Stay away from that Blue slime the Boss is chucking, got it?!” began the time when Nari was able to use “Covering”.
The time couldn’t be any better with the slime nearly being launched from the Boss, the Wolf used his “Covering” skill with a sonic-like sprint towards the Fox as he was running extremely fast thanks to the heavy chest plate off the Wolf and the skill still gave the him the “speed buff” so he could switch with his companion, the fluffball is what Nari would still describe Nisha but on the totally related note, the Wolf was able to move in front of the fox as he was able to use “Counter Break” right when the slime was in range of the swing of the Wolfs shield. With the slime fling out the nearest Window and probably landing on a adventurer’s head, the Wolf turned his head enough so that he can see Nisha’s face, “we should kill this annoying sack of slime soon, my health is barely regenning at the moment” as the Wolf said that he awaited the Fox’s reply as he saw a lot of the slimes beginning to dissipate from the groups location and move towards its leader, most likely to protect it or to prepare for a strong attack of some sort.

Nisha was in her zone, this was exactly what she wanted from a game, excitement, battle, standing right in the mass of enemies and killing eye to eye. She could not have done this in her previous character and most likely not with any other as well, at the moment she could not say if she could be happier if she had taken any other character. Actually this gave her so much more freedom, the slender figure was small enough to bend and move around with ease and her being somewhat tall, in comparison to the average she had noticed, there was never that weird awkward moment of having to stare up at someone. Well, she did not mind if it happened to someone else though. Also it gave her a wider swing, since the world had become like it was now, many of these had become more important, reach was now really measured by how big you were and not taken from a standard list, attacks failed more often for those untrained and even wielding a weapon could be interestingly difficult. Not that Nisha had much experience with her weapon, but most of the times the manual control was taken away from her when doing skills or such. And normal attacks were quite easy for her since she was used quite well to virtual realism games which had become all teh rage some years before and given players more freedom than ever before. And Nisha or Myriel had taken full advantage of that and played as much as she could with it to escape her bleak and boring life, opinions may differ on that term, but for her it had definitely been one. Nisha wondered what was going on as she heard the huge footsteps coming closer to her and for a second had a weird paranoia of being pushed into the abyss that was off platform. They were, after all, pretty high up by now and at her down leveled state, she would most likely not survive such a fall. Also, it would be pretty boring and embarassing to die from a fall like this. Turning her head while sticking her head in the slime in front of her who had tried to spawn where her wind fan had just been dissipated from the sheer amount of slimes falling into their deaths willingly, quite a thing to do just to deactivate her attack. Hearing nari call out, her ears were still ringing a little so she did not hear all of it, she turned to where nari was looking and saw slime flying at her face and looked at it in bewilderment. had the boss just thrown a slime at her? Her grin she had worn due to enjoying herself broke up a little and she got a bit angry at the boss. But Nari was there to intercept the projectile and created a huge splat sound as the slime hit his shield and a huge mess all around as the slime pieces flew all around. "Go and take care of the boss already Nari, also thanks, let me repay you!" Nisha said and sidestepped Nari, her blade already glowing golden from before speaking up to vent some anger at the boss. "All my power, all my strength, taste my shining GOLDEN FINGER!" Nisha called out and brought her blade down in the direction toward the boss not only obliterating everything in the path it traveled on, creating a very empty looking space right in front of the boss, but also cutting deep into the boss. "Get a move on." Nisha would say and try to pat Nari on his shoulder. "Don´t worry about us, we will give you support, so go and get them. You okay bast? Concentrate on helping nari with your skills, I will keep the slimes at bay." Nisha said, unsheathed her blade and took out a slime unsheathing it again with her iaido. Slipping into the back of bast to keep his blindspot free of slimes. Words: 673 Tags: Bast NarihamaWeapon: Nishan(Scar) Armor: Nishanat (Daybreak) Accessoires: Nishani (Keepsake)

Bast was doing fine in his fight against the oozing slimes but had taken noticed to the ding sounds that had occurred both from himself and Nari a few times from this fight and the previous and took saw Nari pull off two moves in quick succession of each he had not seemed to possess before. Bast kept swiping at slime after slime and was excited was he correct had Nari… yes of cause he had in all these monsters how could they not have. Making a large swing he heard Nisha’s little question, and he pulled up with his open hand the character screen. Looking at his screen he replied ”Never Better”. He had not gained as much exp as the guardian but enough for a skill rather than two, he selected it with speed for he knew what could liven up this situation and Nari to his objective, Bast didn’t even take note at the time that the slimes seemed to be thinner numerically around him but he the excitement of a new move, made him want to test it out and all enemies and his allies were just Test subjects for him to watch the progression of his skills at this moment, He played the song to liven up the hearts of the party, the Speed Sword Etude. He felt the rush and he had feel the effect and took his strikes out at a new pace towards the slimes, making quick work of each of them. He wanted more and looked around him for the rest. His eyes could see few around him at this point he couldn’t understand why…and then his eyes lay upon the boss. Many slimes were moving towards the boss from below it, above it and from around the battle at large and the Boss was devouring them, but didn’t Nari say he did that to heal? No one had attacked it why was it doing that now? The large Yellow swelling coming out from the boss bellowing and gurgling, small pops of yellow slime spilled out at times as slimes entered. Basts eyes watched as a drop of that yellow slime touched the ground and burned a corrosive hole part way through that which it touched before disappearing…whatever this attack was it did not seem like an attack you wanted to touch you. So what did Bast know about the changes since the original plan, their seemed to be more mobs than believed, the boss ate those mobs and produce yellow slime inside him in a large swelling in front of it but not all covering, he also could throw the slime as projectiles in a blue form at targets…the large amount of mobs was rapidly decreasing even with a steady spawn rate that he could observe…what was that boss doing? It made some sense a green slime being able to make the colour pool that makes it up yellow and blue but what was it doing here and why. Gulping he looked at Nisha and Nari “Um Guys not sure what is happening but I don’t think Nari was right about this boss and dealing with it might be important…you know… maybe earlier rather than later hehe”. A few more slimes appeared and Bast was back to fighting now but having to turn his back to the boss was not something he liked to do at the moment and of cause the angle they were coming from tried to make him do just that. “Use the increased attack speed and make some quick work of these guys I’m not sure we want that swelling any bigger or… kill the main guy faster both seem good.” Being a little annoyed at the edges of fear touching his voice he got angry at himself and made sure to fully turn from the boss, death isn’t so bad and his job was mob control not slow his thinking looking over his shoulder all the time. Taking large swings and placing more strength behind each blow than the last he tried to concentrate on his attacks and his skills cooldowns in the hot key he would reactive them and look when he could be of use… that would be best, continuing his onslaught he listened for orders but knew killing would probably be his priority so continue with it. “Damn I hate slimes.” Was the phrase that kept him going and something he could steadily grumble about while keeping if not a level head a focus on the job. All the while never noticing the increasing spin of the cogs and the clinking sound they made or the blows that he seemed to on occasion run into instead of dodge by mistake.
