[attr="class","quest"] -|-Quest-|- Saber has summoned forth all of his Guild Members to the Windsor Greatwood for some kind of Test... I wonder what it could be.Party: - Saber - 90 - Assassin Do you believe in ghosts? Yes, today was the day… Wow. Never started anything with that before.
Today was the day that Saber was going to perform a mini, micro, light test for the band of adventurers he had gathered together. Today was the day that he would finally step out into the field, send out a mass message to all of the people on his Guild List, and bring them in to help him with a task. Oh yes this would be fun, it would be interesting, and he would be watching. Today, was the test day for many of his House of Crown underlings, and they were going to prove themselves to him. Yet, he was not stupid enough to say such a thing. No, his members did not know this would be a test. All they knew was that today, they were going to help him catch something. That was it. That was their only instructions and the only bit of information that he gave them. He did not tell them what he was hunting, nor did he tell them why. He did not tell them it would be large, angry, and he did not tell them that he would be testing them. If he had told them that this would be a test of sorts, than where would the fun be in that?
No, Saber was not so easy. He withheld as much information as possible from his underlings both to incite their curiosity and to make his job a little more enjoyable. You see, if he had told them every little detail, then he had a feeling some people wouldn’t show up out of fear! They wouldn’t question him, and they would go far and beyond what they would normally do in order to appease him. Saber didn’t want that. He wanted to see his members in their raw states, unaltered, and fresh. He wanted them to act as they normally would so that he could see them truly as players, not as people pretending to be something else. If he could not trust them to perform a simple task, than he could not trust them with anything, and Saber didn’t want that. His expectations were low, but not low enough where someone could go with being useless. Saber wanted people in his Guild whom were capable of handling themselves, able to work in a team, and able to get a job done. He wanted people who could fight, but he also wanted people who could think. And that, was what this test would determine. Could his members fight against an enemy with a solid head on its shoulders? Or would they crumble under the pressure?
The Assassin wiggled his nose at the thought of seeing his members fail, and considered the options of what may happen after. Would he remove them from his ranks, or would he aid them in growing stronger? He truly didn’t know himself, as his eyes were mainly set on them succeeding today. The man may be a pessimist at times, but he was always hopeful when it came to completing a job. Thankfully today the job that needed to be done was for him, and not some random Person of the Land. He could flex a little, could give assistance, and knew exactly where the target was. His Guild Members wouldn’t be stuck with a hard condition of win or lose but instead had some leeway. If they failed, Saber could complete the objective very easily. If they needed help, he could step in and act as a tank while his team recovered. However, if he did, he ran the risk of them becoming reliant on him. Saber would not be available forever, so he would have to choose when to intervene very carefully; a last resort.
Even so, as he stood atop the small hill just outside of London, Saber had high hopes for his Guild members. He rolled a small rock in his right hand and rolled it between his fingers while his eyes gazed out over the large meadow. Across the landscape, Saber saw several “monsters” (animals) chewing at the grass and walking about the zone. One of those monsters was an oversized boar, and that animal got a lot of stares from Saber. It was a short distance away but not extremely far, two-hundred yards or so, and had a small grouping of three smaller Pittered Boars around it. They all ate together, like a family, nipping and chewing at the grass below them. Saber huffed lightly and started tossing the rock up and down in the air just in front of him, letting it slap against his palm every time it came back down.
“Don’t disappoint me, Mr. Boar…” The Assassin nudged at his scarf and adjusted his eyes, looking across the area to the beautiful horizon; the sun would set in a few hours. If his Guild Members wanted an easy go at his test, they would have to hurry.

It was a rare occurrence when her guild leader, Saber, would actually reach out and contact her. She saw much less of the Assassin than she would have liked, due to them both being busy with their own things, but she was always up for any opportunity to see him. She wasn't sure exactly when they had last encountered each other but she was pretty sure she had gone up a few levels since then. “ Maybe he’ll be impressed by my progress?” She laughed at her own spoken thought and quickly dismissed the notion. She had a hard time imagining Saber lavishing her with compliments about her new level and spells. Or about anything, actually. It seemed more likely that she would beat him in a fight than to hear words of praise come out of his mouth – and she knew he would destroy her the instant the battle began. Maybe she was wrong. But probably not. But, Artemisia had sworn her loyalty to him along the way and it was a pact she intended to keep. Her trust, once earned, was not something easily swayed or forgotten. So, when the notification arrived calling her to a meeting place, she immediately had prepared herself to go. He hadn't asked them to travel far, just outside the city, but it wouldn't have mattered either way. She had a lot of respect for him – whatever he wanted, she would do… or at least, she would seriously consider. She wasn't sure if Saber was aware of how she felt about things, but if he wasn't, perhaps that was for the best right now. The petite blonde pushed aside a few branches, as she had traveled through a small patch of brush to arrive here from the pathway, and stepped out into a decently sized field. Her green eyes scanned across the terrain, following the slope of a small nearby hill. Standing there, looking off in the opposite direction of her, was the very person who had called her here. A large smile spread across her face once she spotted him and she quickly made her way over. She cleared her throat a few paces away, although she didn't think her approach had gone unnoticed, and attempted to put a more neutral look on her face. She felt like it didn't quite work, but it was close enough. “ Hello, Saber!” She greeted him cheerfully with a wave once she was standing next to him. She was prepared this time for any shenanigans he had planned; no pit of monsters was going to scare her this time. Curious, Artemisia spun around on her heels, looking in a full circle around her. Her oversized twin tails twisted around her, swishing back and forth for a moment even after she had stopped moving. She didn't see anyone else or anything else of particular note, except a family of boars not too far off. She stopped again once she was facing back in Sabers direction, “ You really should keep in better touch,” She stuck her tongue out at him when she thought he wasn't looking, knowing he would probably just ignore her comments, anyways, “ I've made a lot of progress lately, you know,” One of her fox ears twitched while she kept her eyes locked on him, looking to see if he had any kind of reaction to her. Saber’s request had been vague, so she didn't know much about why she was here. To add to her curiosity and excitement about the day’s adventures, unless it had been by accident, the fox tail woman could not think of a time when she had actually met any of her guild mates, Saber aside. For now, she had her staff in her inventory. Somehow, she had a feeling she would need it but until then, she was keeping her hands free. She was a little embarrassed by the fact that, despite improving her level, she had yet to replace her cheap staff. “ So, what’s going on?” Maybe he could finally shed some light on why her presence had been required, not that she minded, but she still wanted to know. -- Notes: Dunno how long has passed since they've seen each other but I'm assuming it's at least been a little bit of time. Finding a message from the guild leader came as a bit of a surprise to the female, after all, she hadn’t really spoken to him since joining the guild. Then again, she did tend to wander off and do her own thing instead of getting to know her fellow guild mates, something she kind of regretted now. Of course, she did take the time to learn names, levels, classes and subclasses, it was probably more than enough for now, she would get to know them a little better eventually, at her own pace. Despite the message from the guild leader being incredibly vague with details, she prepared herself for a fight, checking her equipment for any signs of tear, cleaning her katana and kunai, fixing the small tears she had in her armour. After all, it would be quite dangerous if, say, her katana broke mid-battle, she had no replacement, so she was doomed if that happened. Thankfully, neither weapon seemed like it was in any danger of breaking, yet she was going to have to replace them soon, along with her armour. Checking the message again, she made her way to the location detailed, the Greatwood. Her mind began to wonder, wondering what was going to happen, why had she been summoned to the Greatwood, along with every other member of the guild? Perhaps it was a quest that they all had to complete, it seemed like the only explanation that the Assassin could think of. Walking up the hill, she spotted two figures standing on top of it. Before she advanced, she double-checked that she had her weapons equipped, nodding a little before proceeding. As soon as she set foot on top of the hill, standing a few steps away from the duo, she stretched her arms upwards, taking the time to glance around the area. A couple of Pitted Boars were all she could see without activating Battle Perception, she didn’t particularly feel the need to activate it, however. She turned her attention to the duo after a moment, trying to put a name to the blonde- Artemisia, if memory served her right, which it thankfully did, it saved her asking once again, which was something she greatly wanted to avoid. “Um, hello,” Sorano greeted, a slight smile forming before returning to her usual blank expression. She turned away, to glance around once again, making sure that nothing had changed, like, say, one field boss suddenly appearing- it was incredibly unlikely, who knows why she even thought of it, even she didn’t know why such a thought entered her mind. “So, what exactly are we doing here?” She was addressing Saber with her statement, before thinking of something else to add to it. “Or if you’d prefer waiting until everyone gets here to explain, that would probably work better.” Sorano hastily added, sighing a little after she spoke. She was beginning to greatly regret not spending a little more time getting to know her fellow guild members, perhaps knowing them a little more would make her a little less, well, socially awkward. She was never very comfortable around people she didn’t know very well. Oh well, it didn’t matter, that would change soon enough. [Word count: 537 words. Tags: Saber @sugarygiggles ]

Do you believe in ghosts? “A hunting we will go… a hunting we will go…” Almost subconsciously, the Assassin began to hum to himself as time seemed like it was drawing itself out. The sound of his voice rang in his ears, shook the air around him, and expanded slightly into the space around him. The rock he tossed up and down began to bounce more rapidly in his palm and his eyes narrowed on the boars in the distance. They walked and grazed like one big happy family, unknowingly moving closer and closer to the Assassin. His eyes narrowed and tracked them, guesstimating the range based on the size of the objects around them as well as his own memories of the area around him. Due to his level, his range capabilities had increased and he was far more accurate at a distance than he ever was before, but that was with a bow. With just his hand, he had no clue. Though the strength stat he had was fairly high, giving him a decent range without any sort of support weapon.
“Maybe.” Saber mumbled as he considered launching the rock at the boars, but he didn’t. He simply continued to toss the rock up into the air, his palm pushing it back up into the sky every time gravity attempted to eat it. He was growing more and more impatient by the moment, but that fuse was long; very long. Said fuse was long enough where he had waited an entire day to complete a quest which called for him to be around a specific zone at a very specific time frame. He lounged around in the general vicinity of the zone for hours, doing pretty much close to nothing before finally the designated target appeared; an NPC Child with a lollipop. Said lollipop he needed to steal. Who knew that taking candy from a baby could be so annoying?
Thankfully today he wouldn’t have to wait hours because his first arrival was already on the scene, or close enough to it. Strangely enough it was the person he least expected to arrive first but he wasn’t exactly bothered by it by any means. He heard her footsteps from quite a good distance away because of how she entered the area (through a bush), and glanced over his shoulder to see who it was. He didn’t have to strain his neck at all to see the entirety of her body either. All he needed to see was one blonde pigtail to know who was coming up behind him. Artemisia was her name and she was the newest addition to his Guild. He had met her in the depths below Londinium a week prior to now, and she was lost when he had come across her. More specifically she was lost and being attacked by a toaster. The thought of that made him huff, his lips twisting into a slim smile for a moment before he heard the sound of a purposeful noise to make him aware that his guest was close. It was an unnecessary thing, as her footsteps were quite loud. As he was addressed, Saber closed his eyes for a moment and let his mind quickly decide on how to respond; the usual.
“Good afternoon.” The Assassin reopened his eyes and nudged at his scarf, a slight itch creeping onto the tip of his nose. His eyes kept focused on the boars down below, mostly to ensure that they didn’t run off because of the sudden noise. The rock in his hand landed in his palm and he caught it, grasping it tight to keep himself from throwing it into the air again. After doing so, his eyes shifted to look at Artemisia. He stood there and stared at her, her words almost going in one ear and out the other as he listened to her ask him to keep in touch and to mention that she had grown. It was quite easy to see that she had leveled, as the information that appeared in front of his eyes stated that. As for keeping in touch, well, Saber liked his “quiet time”. Even when that “quiet time” was filled with the blood curdling screams of his targets.
“Just a little Guild fun.” Saber finally spoke in response to the actual question he had been presented with, and he did so very softly. As he spoke, he pointed down the hill towards the grouping of boars. But not just any of them; he pointed towards the large one in the middle. Beyond that though, he didn’t say anything just yet. He simply lowered his finger, twisted his hand, and tossed the rock he continued to hold back up into the air. He juggled it once more as he stood there. Though, he got probably three more tosses out of it before he heard another set of feet.
This time the person who appeared was someone he almost prayed would show; Sorano. Sorano was a woman who had appeared at the Guild Hall completely out of the blue. Before then, he had never seen her before or even heard of her name. Even now Saber hadn’t seen her in the field, ever, so this would probably be his first time doing so. That was both a good thing and a bad thing. It was good because this would be a fresh thing for him and he had no rumors or previous experiences with her to know how she fought. If she made a mistake, it would be easier to correct and deal with. It was a bad thing because he didn’t know how she fought. Saber didn’t know her limitations behind her level. He didn’t know her resolve or if she even knew how to fight at all, period. This would be a dry run for him with her, and he could only hope that it would go well.
The Assassin pulled his eyes from the second arrival once she reached the top of the hill and once again looked down towards the boars; the continued to remain where he wanted them, sort of. They were actually moving closer, slowly, and that was even better. As Sorano began to speak, Saber glanced over at her and caught the rock he was still tossing into the air. It landed in his hand with a light, satisfying, clap, and his fingers closed around it. The lower level Assassin asked pretty much the same question as Artemisia had, but also acknowledged that it might be a good idea to wait. Indeed it would be, as Saber hoped that a few more people made their appearance. It would make things go much more smoothly. In addition to that, he would be able to intervene less with the coming ordeal. Though, from the looks of things; that might not happen.
“Give the others a little longer.” Turning his head up, the man glanced towards the sky and towards the diming sun as it started to lower itself closer and closer to the horizon, steadily inching downwards to where it would eventually disappear.
“In the meantime… Sorano, Artemisia; I see you two are progressing well.” The Guild Leader turned his head to glance at both of the ladies that where standing by him and glanced at their levels; Artemisia was now level thirteen and Sorano was now level five. Both had been level one when he had met them and he had met them both fairly recently. Seeing them still lower in their levels wasn’t much of a surprise and it was good that they were progressing. At least they weren’t lounging around doing nothing.
“You two have any problems with quests or come across any issues with leveling?” As he spoke, the Assassin glanced at the two female’s pieces of equipment, and wiggled his nose slightly at what he saw.
“And how are your equipment sets holding up? I know that the lower level stuff falls apart fairly easily… If you two need any armor or weapons made up, let me know.”

"I slept in!" The fox tails voice sounded across her room, waking her two sleeping animals as she got up quickly out of her bed and put on her battle equipment. She shook her head as she patted them both and kissed each of their foreheads. "Sorry, you two. I have something important with the guild today so I might not be home for a while." She set out some carrots and sandwich split in two out for each of them. "Don't eat it all in one shot! Spoticus, I'm looking at you bud. This needs to last you both all day. I'll be back as soon as I can." She rushed out of the house, really hoping that they wouldn't gorge themselves and eat it all, or else, she may have a mess to clean up when she returned home.
As she came to the spot where they were supposed to be meeting, she waved to the three guildies in the distance, one of which she knew, the other two, not so much. She picked up her pace and as she set herself infront of the three, she looked at Saber and saluted him. "KittyGrey reporting for duty!" She giggled and then rested her hand at her side, smirking and then turned to the other two. "Hi there," she paused for a moment and flickered her eyes to each of their names. "Artemisia and Sorano! Please, call me Kitty!" She was as bubbly as every as she smiled widely at the two. She was ready, now, to do whatever it was that they were doing. The thoought occured, and she tilted her head towards their guild Leader. "So, uhm, what's our mission?" She was curious to know what they would be doing, then it dawned on her. Where was the rest of the group? She shrugged it off internally and figured they may arrive later. It wasn't like they were forced to come, but depending on their mission, a larger group could be a necessity.
She looked again at the names displayed above Sia and Sorano's heads and pondered. 'Alright, so, we have a sorceress, two assassins and a cleric." It was a rather strange group, but if they worked well together and could communicate, then they could make it work. She was worried about her own level, though, and figured that perhaps she should lower it. She found her gaze looking back to Saber and bite her lip lightly. "Uhm, I'm going to assume we'll be lowering our levels? If we do, we'll have to mentor. I think you should take Sorano and I'll mentor Sia," She looked to the other fox tail and tilted her head. "I hope it's okay that I call you Sia." She smiled at her. If she didn't want her to call her that, she only needed say so. She turned her head to Saber again and continued. "Only because we'll both need to lower our levels, and you and Sorano will be taking the forefront, or, so I would assume?" She wasn't sure whether her thoughts were correct, but if she voiced them, at least she would have a better knowledge of the plan at hand. She would wait for Saber to explain what would be happening.

[attr="class","quest"] -|-Quest-|- The mission has been revealed! The quest, set by Saber, is to bring down the Elite monster Gerald! Lower his HP to 15% and make him submit so that Saber can tame him!
Gerald will be DMed by Saber.Party: - Saber - 90 - Assassin - sorano - 5 - Assassin -@sugarygiggles - 13 - Sorcerer - kittygrey - 81 - Cleric Do you believe in ghosts? Just as he finished talking and before the other two could speak, Saber caught sight of another much more familiar face. One that made him grumble. He squeezed the small rock he held in his hand and watched as the other high level player under his wing made her way over to the three whom had already gathered; it was Kitty. At the sight, Saber was neither amused nor upset, he was not angry, nor did his heart increase its pace like it had a few times before. No, this time Saber remained calm, comfortable, and simply watched the blonde run up the hill and over to them. He was going to greet her and tell her that she was late, but she seemed to have come a long way so he didn’t bother. The man let Kitty perform her own introduction and nodded to her lightly as she saluted him, the sight of such a thing making his eye twitch.
Then, she turned to the other two women. At that moment, Saber knew that this was probably going to be bad. Not because of there being a bunch of women around along with Kitty, but because she was starting to bounce. Her mind was scattered and she went from one person to the next. She waved, saluted, said she was here, and then turned away. After that, she introduced herself to the two girls. However, before Saber could say anything, she turned back to him and asked the same question the other two had; “what’s the mission, Saber?! Why are we here? What did you call us here for?!” Well, she said something close to that. Though, she got the same answer he gave the others…
“Well, with four of us, I think we have a good enough group. So with that being said…” Saber started to toss the stone in his hand up and down again, catching and throwing, catching and throwing, snatching and passing. He didn’t toss it too high just like the other times, but it was more for his entertainment. As he tossed the rock, Saber made his way to the edge of the hill top just before it crested and stared down into the valley below, mainly towards the group of Boars that were there. He narrowed his eyes on them and smirked beneath his scarf. That smirk lasted for a few seconds until Kitty spoke up again.
Her words came across as complacent, and Saber’s throat began to rumble. He narrowed his eyes and snatched the rock from the air as his blood bubbled slightly beneath his skin. Kitty had performed an action which she should not have, and the hidden ears of Saber turned red. He looked over his shoulder towards the high leveled Cleric and gave her a hard look. As he did, he squeezed the stone tight in his hand. He considered yelling at her, but yelling never solved anything. However, she would have to understand one thing; she was a follower, and she was equal to the others in the Guild except for Saber. Even though she had pretty much wedged herself into his life, that didn’t make her any higher than the others. Hearing her tell him what to do, now that was something he would not stand.
“We will do nothing of the sort, Kittygrey. This is not a mentoring mission. There will be no groups except for one and all three of you are in it.” He considered saying outloud how he truly felt, but it would have been poor of him. Instead, he kept it to himself and turned his head away from the short blonde and back towards the Boars. This time around, Kitty was not his enemy nor was she a woman he found interest in. No, she was his underling as a Guild Member and he was not here for fun and games. He was here to put them all through their paces. With that in mind, he would speak to her later or send her a message.
“We’ll go ahead and get started, seeing as no one else has shown up.” The Assassin took a short glance around the area, checking for any other Guild Members who could have also been running late. However, upon seeing none, Saber did not wish to waste any more time. He turned around to face his Guild Members and smirked beneath his scarf.
“First, thanks for coming, you three. It makes me happy to see that I still have some activity going around. Today I’ve called you here for one simple reason; I’m going to throw all three of you against a tough enemy. One that you probably won’t be able to defeat, but I want you to try. Kitty, you are banned from using any assault skills. You may only heal and buff. Artemisia, Sorano, you two are able to do whatever you can to the target. I will provide minimal assistance from the back row, but I won’t be doing nothing. I’ll make sure things don’t get out of control and I will help you three along. I mainly with to see how well you do together and in the face of a powerful enemy.” As he spoke, Saber addressed all three of the women in front of him, making sure that he made eye contact with each of them very slowly. As he finished however, he turned to his right and lifted his right hand, the stone clenched between his fingers. The index finger of the hand extended, and he pointed towards the herd of Boars at the bottom of the hill.
“Those Boars are your secondary targets. However, if you could not tell, one of them is much larger than the others.” That oversized boar actually looked up as Saber spoke of it, a mound of grass munching between its teeth. Its tusks glistened and his eyes were nearly closed as it huffed. That boar was no regular boar…
“He is your primary target; Gerald. He is an Elite monster in this area and isn’t a monster you should attack willingly. In this case, we want to attack him. Though, your goal is not to kill him either.” Saber smirked and looked back towards the three ladies, his deviant eyes glistening.
“It’s to lower his health enough to make him submit. I’m going to tame him…” After that, Saber started to pass the rock in his hand up into the air again, playing catch with himself once more.
“There are two strategies for Gerald. One is to distract him; the other is to remove his defenses. Distracting him will be more difficult as one of you will have to be the bait and lure him away from the other smaller Boars. As he is pulled away, the other two players will eliminate the littler enemies. Removing his defenses is not much easier. This route is essentially everyone focusing on the little Boars first, while keeping Gerald at bay. If you look at them from an objective stand point, they seem pretty much the same and they sort of are, but how well you perform them will make the difference.” Saber tapped on his screen and equipped his bow and arrows, arming himself for ranged combat so that he could fight while also staying out of the way.
“The decision of what strategy to use is up to you three. Though, you only have five minutes to decide. So think fast. This rock is getting a little heavy.” The rock shimmered in the air as Saber began to toss the rock a little more comfortably. As he continued to toss it up and down, he started to throw it with a little more force. He now knew its weight.

Sleeping at the time on his bed, the young red headed knight woke up to the sound of a message coming in from his guildmaster. After quickly getting his bearings straight he went to the bathroom and splashed cold water on his face to wake himself up, Verin lacked the ability to read when sleep thus he had to do this first. After drying his face with a towel Verin quickly tapped the read message symbol and began to read while getting on his normal gear. After quickly putting on the shirt of his Wild Morning armor on he finished reading the rest of the message and started hurrying to equip the rest of his equipment and then ran out of his room while checking to see if he had all of his potions with. Seeing that he did he quickly did, so he ran for the door only to see Vitae was already out the door and running towards Windsor Greatwoods. Verin quickly ran out of the house while grabbing the door with his feat to close it shut, after that he then went back and put the lock command on. Vitae quickly raced towards Windsor Greatwoods using his skateboard, until he got too rough terrain then which he used his Vertical High Jump tactic to get along. After about a few minuted Verin found a familiar looking group ahead. After a few more leaps he could see the groups faces and recognized them as his guild members and guildmaster, thankfully Vitae was already with the group, so Verin quickly got over to group, " Sorry I'm late guys and gals please let me participate in this mission." Sprawled out on his futon, Vitae was in the state of waking up while looking at his status screen when the message from Saber came in. Already awake enough to read, so he quickly tapped it and started reading it. After reading it Vitae quickly leapt up with lightning like reactions, quickly changing into his equipment and checked to see if he had everything ready. While doing so he heard the running of water going off, " Verin must be trying to wake himself up so he could read the message from Saber." After thinking this Vitae decided to wait and give Verin a few minutes to get ready. Within five minutes Vitae heard the shuffling sound of Verin in a hurry. Taking this as his cue Vitae bolted out of his room and out the door of the house, calling Fallax as he ran towards Windsor Greatwoods. Suddenly Fallax was right behind Vitae, so Vitae jumped and just managed to get on. As the horse pounded on towards the forest Vitae managed to stabilized his seating posture and patted the horse on the neck. " Come on boy we have a quest to do from Saber." The young horse and the boy might not have much of a connection right now, but Vitae knew they could form a strong bond together. Finding Saber was a little difficult, but after only a few minutes he found Saber along with three other guild members that were with him at the ledge of a cliff. Dismounting from Fallax Vitae quickly walked over to his guild members, " Hi guys I'm sorry I'm late." Within a few seconds of this Verin had already caught up and had a smile on his face. Her greeting to Saber was not ignored entirely as he offered her a simple good afternoon. She could have sworn he laughed before answering her though. Just what was so funny about her showing up here? Her guild leader snatched up the rock he had been fiddling with and glanced at her silently. He was definitely, without question, tuning her words out. Her little cheeks puffed up as she was about to protest his rudeness but before she could, he spoke, answering her on why they were here. He spoke softly and pointed down the hill a little ways. Artemisia’s green eyes followed the line of his finger – he was pointing at the boars she had noticed earlier. Really? We're hunting boars…? She thought, a bit confused as to why that would be a priority for him. If only she had looked at a little closer, it may have made more sense sooner. It didn't take long for the duo to jump to a trio when a red haired woman appeared on the scene. Artemisia was unfamiliar with her, which wasn't a huge surprise to the fox tail girl. Once the new arrival was close enough, Artemisia opened the necessary window to display the limited information she could get from it. It was enough to tell her this woman was named Sorano and she was an Assassin of a slightly lower level than her own. She greeted them and Artemisia nodded her head in response, smiling at the girl. She, too, questioned the guild leader on why they had been gathered. Much to her surprise, Saber engaged the pair of females in what could only be called conversation. After requesting their patience in case other members of the guild would arrive, he acknowledged their progress. Artemisia felt proud as anything to hear that he had, indeed, noticed her effort. In regards to his question about quests and leveling, she smiled widely. “ No problems here, not with all the help you gave me before,” Her tail flicked behind her, “ But of course, I'm always up for anything you can throw my way if you've got anything,” There was still so much she could learn from him, after all. Her smile faded slightly at his next question and she couldn't help but glance down at the ground a little embarrassed, “ I can't say I've done much about my equipment… I've even still got the same staff as before,” She turned her green eyes back to Saber, “ But if you're willing I will definitely take you up on that offer!” Before their conversation could continue much further and Saber could say acknowledge that she had spoken, yet another woman appeared. Had Saber only recruited females into his guild? He didn't seem like the harem type to her… Disregarding that, the newest arrival introduced herself as Kitty, a fox tail like herself. One of Artemisia’s blonde ears twitched in amusement when she heard this person also question why they were here. She peeked at Saber, wondering how many times he could be asked the same question in one day. It took the Cleric only a few moments to get Artemisia’s attention when she immediately questioned if she and Saber should cap themselves to a lower level since she would be participating as a mentor to the lower leveled Sorano and Artemisia. Artemisia turned her green eyes to the high leveled woman, giving her a quick once over. Since when was she supposed to be pairing up with this person? Either way, Artemisia wanted no part of it or her, no one had ever lowered their level in her presence before and the notion of it was honestly insulting to the Sorceress. Her nose wrinkled up at the nickname Kitty suggested and her fox ears folded back on her head, irritated. It was a cute nickname and she had to admit she liked it but her first impression of this woman did not warrant her accepting such a name. Fortunately for Artemisia, who was about to mouth off to this woman, Saber responded instead. The idea of splitting into multiple training groups headed by Kitty and Saber was immediately rejected and Artemisia felt relieved. She had come here to learn from her guild leader, after all. She didn't know what kind of relationship Saber had with Kitty but she seemed to be comfortable around him, comfortable enough to be so forward with him. Artemisia sighed and glanced around at the others who had gathered. She was going to have to put aside that negative first impression eventually if there was any chance of them working together. Given the situation, she had a suspicion that working together was definitely likely. Finally, it was time to hear why they were here. She listened to his explanation, nodding along as she took in the information. So those boars really were why they were here, after all. Specifically, the one in the middle, the largest one which Saber called Gerald. Ah, that makes a little more sense, then. He was planning to pit them against this strong creature to test them… test their minds, strength, team work, and also control… as the point was to work together to defeat it, yet not to kill it. He offered two suggestions of his own for how to accomplish the task he had given them. Just a little late, two more of the guild showed up – Verin and Vitae. Each apologized for being late but they had missed Sabers explanation. “Hello, I'm Artemisia. Let me catch you up on what you missed, we're short on time.” Artemisia quickly explained their target and goal to both Verin and Vitae. “ So, then…” She turned her eyes onto Gerald and the two smaller boars and activated her skill Evaluate. It took only a moment before an additional list of information popped up for her to review. “ Iron-Tusked Gerald,” she read its name aloud for the others, “ has no listed weaknesses, unfortunately. He's listed as a level 10 monster and he’s got three skills I can see – Protectionist, Rampant Charge, and Boar Cry….” Her eyes flicked back to the group as she summarized each one of Gerard's abilities. Well, Saber had asked them to discuss strategy so she decided to go ahead with her thoughts on it first. She kept her voice low so as to not spook their nearby targets. “ I think we should try and separate Gerald from the two little ones because of Protectionist. They'll take less damage so long as they're near him. As soon as we attack Gerald, the little ones are going to attack us anyways. What about this?” She turned to look at Verin, “ Do you have Blink? I know it’s a bit risky but you and I could each take a little one, attack it, blink, attack, blink… they're sure to follow us away. We don't have to go far, just enough to be out of range for Protectionist… in fact we shouldn't stray too far anyways so we can still be in range for any buffs or heals from Kitty and Vitae, we just need to keep their attention and keep chipping away at their health with whatever spells you have. Everyone else can concentrate on Gerald that way to keep his attention and as much as we are able, we can throw the occasional attack over. Sorano would be dealing most of the damage there but with three to support her, she should be able to do some pretty impressive damage. It would also help prevent us accidentally killing him if we all were attacking at once.” She didn’t know what the others could do but she had glanced at their classes when each arrived. Regardless of whether she had them, Kitty was not permitted to do anything but support. The unknown here was Vitae, she didn’t know if he had anything offensive in his skill list. Taking both sorcerers away would be a major blow to their offensive power against Gerald, though, so she was willing to listen to other suggestions. “ What does everyone else think? We've got to all work together to make this work…" Her plan had holes and wasn't a perfect solution but hopefully with the input of the others, they could decide on a plan. --- Skills Used:Evaluate: - Scholar Roleplaying Subclass, Tier I Skill - This skill allows the scholar to gain additional details about the enemy. While most players can access an interface that shows the monster's name, level, current HP, and current MP, the scholar obtains an additional interface when this skill is used. It has a one second cast time and one second cooldown time. The target's elemental weaknesses and a brief summary of their skills will be made available to the Scholar any time they access the target's interface. “Problems with Quests? Not particularly. As for my equipment, it should hold out for a while, particularly my armour, since I can fix that without a problem. Still, it would be better to replace, I’ll definitely do that after this.” Sorano explained, glancing over her equipment, letting out a slight sigh. While she didn’t seem to react at all on the outside, the female was a little startled to see the newcomer suddenly jump right out in front of her. A reply didn’t come to mind so quickly, yet she ended up nodding in response, she would keep that in mind. Hearing two others approach, she glanced towards them, instantly recognising one of them, Verin- which was a miracle, seeing as it had been quite some time since she had encountered him, they hadn’t teamed up together for very long when they met either. As the other Assassin began to speak, she turned around to listen, her curiosity growing as he continued to speak, just what were they doing? However, her question was answered within a matter of seconds, as the quest had begun to become detailed. As the male pointed towards the enemies in question, she moved to look at the creatures once again, a slight frown forming when she noticed the Gerald, she felt a little annoyed with herself for the fact that she didn’t see it there before. “Hmm… If the objective is to get the Gerald’s HP to 15%, it would probably be best to keep any reinforcements out of the way, or defeat them at least. Although, defeating them would be fairly tedious, especially with a defence boost, perhaps distractions would work better. I’ll gladly do that, it does seem to be the better option, after all,” Sorano responded, adding to what Artemisia said before her, quite possibly entering strategist mode with her small speech, or the beginnings of it rather. She was pretty sure that her ideas were pretty well spot on, letting herself distract the monster was probably a good idea, especially since she was fairly fast. “Aside from Protectionist, Boar Cry sounds like a skill that could allow it to summon reinforcements, which could be a problem if there’s like 20 or so of them, I doubt it would be possible for it to summon that many at once, but still, although they aren’t nearly as dangerous as the Gerald. As for Rampant Charge, it would be an attack skill, perhaps it could be easy to avoid, if it charges in a straight line, instead of following its target until it hits. Putting that aside, I think the best thing to do to start off with would be to debuff the Gerald, give it some status ailments as well. I have a skill that could potentially poison it, it should make getting its HP down to 15% a little easier.” She took a deep breath and exhaled after she finished speaking, pretty confident that was all she needed to say in terms of strategy. “Well, that’s my two cents, anyone else have anything to add?” She asked, glancing over the group. She didn’t know anyone here very well, she really only knew their names, today would be the day where she, hopefully, would get to know them a little better. [Word count: 548 Words. Okay, so, maybe she had stepped a little out of line, but the cold sensations entering her body from Saber, as well as Sia made her shiver internally. She had never been consumed by any sort of hard feelings, especially from guild mates, but this time, it felt different. Saber kept himself calm, but even she could tell what he was thinking on the inside and though she didn't know Artemisia, she could feel her thoughts as well. She had clearly made a bad first impression on the girl by the way she cringed her face, lowering her ears and figured it was because of the cute pet name she had given her, that, or the thought of being mentored. Ame wanted to sigh, to glare, or to show them that she hadn't meant it to be rude, or to insult any of them as she didn't feel the mentoring system was a bad thing. She remembered a time where she mentored three new men in the game. She hadn't lowered her level to humiliate them or insult them, and none of them had taken it as such, she had simply done it so that she could help them further by getting closer to their levels. She wanted to rebut but she didn't, she just lowered her head slightly and gave a small smile, her face pink with embarrassment. She wouldn't say a word. She had to remember, even if she was almost as high of a level as Saber, this was his guild and she was just a lowly member. The thought made the feelings she had in Aeryn begin to arise. Perhaps she wasn't befitting of being apart of a guild as she tended to take up some sort of leadership role and blow things out of proportion or just take it too far. She sighed internally, making a mental note to speak with Saber in private about the matter, though she was sure that he would most likely come to her first.
As Saber explained what they were all doing here, she listened carefully, letting her thoughts submit to his voice. After she knew the plan, she just nodded once to let him know that she understood and had been paying attention. She was to heal, and only heal, nothing more. There was nothing challenging about her part of this mission, it was something she literally did everyday, but she was fine with it. Even still, she felt her ears lower as her tail had long ago, showing her sunken mood. Now that the speaking was finished, her mind shot back to the previous happenings. She felt her fists tighten, but she released them quickly, hoping no one had noticed. 'Don't let any of this get to you Ame, you were just doing what you thought was right. You have to remember that not everyone thinks like you and though you don't mean to, people get insulted easily if they think you are putting yourself above them..' She didn't want to admit it, but she knew her subconscious was right. Perhaps Artemisia thought that she was saying she was better than them or something. Maybe she thought that Kitty wanted to take leadership over her? No, that wasn't the point at all, she simply thought they should lower their levels to be better apart of the fight, but as Saber said, they wouldn't be apart of it at all so there was no need to worry about killing the Gerald in one or two or three hits. She sighed internally once more, but showed no trace of her feelings on her face. She knew she had to make it right between them, if she was going to stay in this guild, but getting there would take time and she had to let it go for now. They had a task at hand.
Her mind shot out of focus once she heard two new comers arrive. She smiled and nodded to them, recognizing Verin instantly. She had worked with him twice before and he was a good ally to have. She was thankful for having a second person she knew there. She listened as Artemisia took the lead, explaining to the newcomers their mission and then giving her opinion on the plan. It sounded good, though she wanted to add that they didn't have to remain close to her. At her level, it would be easy to heal from a long distance and she had many abilities that could heal a large width of area so her protection would be available from just about anywhere, unless they ran off to a different part of the field, though she doubted they would. Instead of stating her fact, however, she just kept quiet. It probably would be better if they stayed closer together anyways, not for her, but for themselves. It easier to back your team up when your close to each other. As Sorano began to speak, she once again listened. Their planning was on par with any high leveled teams she had worked with and each seemed to know what they were doing and which ways to work the field as well as the members of their team. She smirked lightly at the girl but stilled her smile quickly, putting her serious face back on. She looked to the two boys who had joined, wondering what bits of information and planning they would add and then let her eyes slip over to Saber, wondering what he was making of his new team, his guild. She didn't let her eyes sit too long though as she continued to watch the group work, keeping herself out of it, in the background, just where she was supposed to be.. The thought snuck up on her again, but she mentally shook her head. No, she had to at least try to be apart of this guild, no matter how she felt, or how the members felt about her.. She wouldn't just give up and succumb to her feelings, whether she felt like the outcast or not.. And if it truly didn't work out, there were always other options, but she couldn't think of that now, it was almost go time.

Looking at the information provided from his team members Verin noticed that they definitely had the right frame of mind, but with Vitae in the group the plan just got easier to enact. " Yes I have Blink, but unless things get hairy Vitae and I have it under control so you can also provide attack damage. I'll let Vitae go into detail since that's info, but going back to the plan, it seems legit and rather easy to do. Once we've got the boars cleared and until Gerald summons more I'll come in and attack upfront with Sorano due to my Magic Knight build. I think that while fending off the small boars I could use ranged attacks on Gerald to help the damage output. As for anything else, if healers need minor help upkeep on healing I have heling supplies. Due to our levels against Gerald's level and its Elite Ranking I can estimate that that at most this should take us an hour at most to finish. Oh, as for his Boar Cry I was planning to fight this thing before now, so I did some research and don't worry Sorano he can't summon twenty of them in one go. Besides this I really don't have anything to give so let's move on to Vitae, which is almost a jack of all trades in this situation." After giving his mouthful of info Verin decided to step back and study Gerald in all of its glory. The boar was much bigger than anything else around and when compared to the boars around it and it had much bigger tusks that were perfect for its Rampant Charge. That's when it hit him, " Guys its weak point is when it uses Rampant Charge, if we strike it when it's charging its tusks will run into the ground and it should lose its balance then. If we strike it then, we should have a valuable amount of time to go ham on it." [331] Saber, sorano,@sugarygiggles, kittygreyOOC: Really trying to make my posts longer, Vitae comes tommorow.

" A boar hunt huh," Vitae stood there remembering his time in Indonesia where he had participated in a hunt, " well at least I've done a real one before." After saying this little fact Vitae ran over the plan in his head and he had to agree that it was probably best that he went after the smaller boars. Vitae was a healing class yes, but he only had two healing spells and one could only be used if someone died, while the other was a party healing spell that couldn't heal much at all. " Yhea it's probably better that you guys don't rely on me for healing since I, even as a Druid, have low healing abilities. I have a more battle oriented build, but in a means of support I have my familiar that can help you deal out damage faster. Also with my Cavalier Subclass I have a much wider movement range that I can cover, and more likely I can deal more damage due to my spear, Notus." On saying this Vitae opened up his menu screen and quickly brought out Notus and then spoke again, " As for what Verin said about toppling the beast over I think I have a way to help do that, my skill Sand Curtain has the effect of reducing how far you can see for five seconds so if we can attack while the boar can't see us we'll most likely succeed in toppling it over. It wasn't quite like how the people in Indonesia taught me how to hunt them, but it seems this plan has a high rate of success to it so how about we go with it and get going?"
