| Fall HP: 100% MP: 100% | "You can't throw me to the wolves, they come when I call." |
New Friends? After receiving warnings of the dangers of long term camp outs in Windsor Greatwoods without the correct equipment, Fall has decided to wait until he has become stronger and geared up. Which for him meant staying in the city and finding more work, but that was unfortunately the way the game worked. He had heard through the great vine that a pharmacist had work available, suitable for low level adventures. The pharmacist went by the name of Barus Altuvero, he ran a popular store called the Helping Hand. Axton rode through the streets on his wolf mount, also known as Grumpy Face. The most unigue, grand and original nickname ever given. He was heading in the general direction of where the store located, trying to stick to side roads and alleyways as much as possible to avoid attention. Most landers and guards didn’t appreciate an adventurer charging through the streets on a giant wolf, for many perfectly acceptable reasons. Fall turned a street corner and entered an alleyway, bringing his mount to a halt. According the butcher he had previously helped out, the store was just round the corner. ‘Probably isn’t the best idea to leave Grumpy Face right outside the store, a lot of landers will get a funny idea and try something. Best leave him out of site, at least this way I lower the risk of having to wait for a re-summon’Axton dismounted, and stood behind his mount. “Wait here for me, I just gotta go and look for some work. I shouldn’t be any longer than fifteen to twenty minutes.” He reached up and scratched behind the ears of his wolf and gave him a smile, his unresponsive mount just stood waiting. Walking to the end of the alleyway, Fall looked both ways. The road was quiet in comparison to most others, mostly just carriages and locals carrying random boxes of goods. Journeying out, Fall head up the hill towards the store. Looking at signs, hoping it was clearly pointed out. Even after all this time ,he still wasn’t familiar with the layout of Londinium. Not that he was going to be here much longer. He yawned and brought his fingers through his messy hair, roughling it up. As he went to crack his neck he noticed a sign, the one he was looking for. Running to the front of the store, he raised his sight to meet the sign. ‘The Helping Hand, doesn’t look like much. Just an old building, doesn’t really fit in the the surrounded buildings. But I guess looks can be deceiving. Shouldn’t get into a habit of making that mistake, it will be the end of me one of these days’Axton placed his hand of the large wooden door and pushed it open, a large squeak echoed through the store. As he walked in each footstep seemed followed that echo, no doubt in Falls that the owner knew he was here. As Axton stood there silent, staring at the shelves filled with random potions and ingredients, he heard the light sound of shoes making their way towards him. From behind one of the further shelves an old man appeared, his gaze met Axton’s. An old frail looking face slowly formed a faint smile before greeting Fall. “Hello there young one, can I help you?” His voice was humble and soft, his appearance made him come across as a rather wise individual. Fall made his way other to greet him. “Are you Mr Altuvero? I heard you had work available, if so I’m here to offer my services.” Fall’s voice was calm, he wasn’t sure if this man was genuinely nice or this was an act around customers. He always liked to know a person before taking a job, it often said about how generous a reward will be. But sometimes you could just never tell. “Oh, eeerrmm. Yes, I’m currently in the midst of creating some potions and performing research. However I have unfortunately run out of slime, bringing my potion making to a rather slow pace. I would greatly appreciate if you could bring me back some vials of slime, as well as note down slime behaviour. It always helps to know about the creatures you use, and information about slimes is hard to come across. Most just consider them mindless targets to practise shooting at, I disagree with that assumption.” He brought his finger to his glasses and lifted them up, before turning and walking to the counter. Picking up a leather drawstring bag and returning, he gently placed it in Falls hand. “Here are a couple of vials, bring me back as many as you can and there will be reward worth your time. Guaranteed.” Barus’s faint smile grew bigger. The druid thought about the quest, whilst he could easily handle the job, it would be useful to have others to help. He was still a low level, and could run out of mana with minutes. ‘With my most powerful spell being a wolf familiar, my mana levels could drop dangerously low. Not to mention the odds of an encounter with a higher level creature could ruin my day, might need some back up.’“You wouldn’t happen to know of any adventurers avai..” His question was interrupted but the sound of the door opening. Count 'em:973Jams:Black Rock ShooterRamblings:Rise and ShineWilling Victims: Fallout Grandeur Aurora heaved a soft sigh as the gentle breeze danced through his pinkish locks as she rested on top of a tree just outside of Londinium. She swayed from side to side as if she was caught in a trance from a certain rhythm when she gazed at the still somewhat starry sky. It was moment like these that she could forget that she was stuck in a game and could just relax and take in the beauty. From the corner of her eye, a burning star began to rise as it's radiance began to bask the mother in its' warmth. Twilight had just broke, she had spent the entire night outside without even realizing it. A faint crow sounded off in the distance, it was about time for everyone to start their day. She slowly inched herself off the branch she was sitting complacently on, falling down to the ground with about as much grace as a three-legged horse jumping a hurdle. Her little body crumpled under her own weight, she tried to stand back to her feet, but her legs weren't responding how she wanted.
"Dang it, they're asleep," she groaned, slowly moving her legs inch by inch. The tingly sensation came back quickly to her legs, she wasn't entirely comfortable with that slightly prickly feeling. It was like having a hundred tiny hands move over legs at once, it was just weird. She slowly pushed herself off the ground and started to walk back into town, but only to stumble for awhile along the way. First things first, she had to get her equipment from the Inn and grab a bite to eat. The streets were still empty except for sparse collection of adventurers that were either coming back into town or heading out for the day. From her point of view, it seemed like people had adjusted fairly well to their situation and learned to make the most of it. Now if only the People of the Land had a better opinion of them, but that's what progress is about. Baby steps. As she approached the door, the sound of clanging and metal banging could easily be heard. "Seems like Donna is already up," she whispered to herself before opening the door. As she has guessed, the proprietress of the Inn was behind her little bar area and setting up for the day.
Aurora patted her stomach and motioned for breakfast as soon as Donna caught a glimpse of her. Donna waved her own, already knowing what she'd like. Aurora climbed the wooden staircase, trying to ease her way up without making too much noise and waking the other patrons. As she made her way into her room, the smell of food quickly caught her attention. The tender scent in the air made her take a gulp of nothing and her stomach growl. She quickly grabbed her crossbow and bolts off the rack adjacent to her bed then zipped down the stairs and made a beeline towards the bar. There was a plate already set up for her that was almost too much for her to even look at. She adored the arrangement that they had together and couldn't ask for anything more than a free room and food in exchange of working a few odd jobs around town and not causing any trouble.
She started wolfing down her plate as if it was the very first meal she's had in ages. She licked her lips and got up from the bar then waved at Donna as she left through the door. The streets was bustling with activity, crowds as far as the eye could see of Adventurers and the People. Something about the sight seemed particularly homey. She began to ponder what job she should take up as she was making her way downtown, walking fast and catching every faced that passed. She held her fingers to her chin as she thought of the potential candidates. She decided to go see if Captain Baxton needed any hands for the day. She picked up her pace and made her way to the west gates as fast as she could. As soon as she got there, she saw Baxton already standing by at his post."Hey, Captain!" She waved as she ran up to him. Baxton looked down at her without showing an ounce of emotion, "Yes?"
"I was wondering if you had any extra jobs on hand for the day," she bashfully scratched the back of her head. He heaved a sigh, but still tried to remain poised while he was on duty, "I don't, some other adventurers took all the jobs for the day." "Really? That's unfortunate, thanks anyway, Boss," she left, not wanting to bother him anymore than she had to. She walked back into the center of town, pondering who she could get work from for the day. From the corner of her eye, she noticed a rather large wolf that was big enough for anyone to ride. She slowly walked to the front of the stationary beast, letting her Wolf Hair features appear. She toggled her Tongue of Nature skill and took a squat in front of the wolf with the disgruntled face. "Umm..hello?" She asked. There was no response, she guessed that it wasn't much of a talker. She looked towards building, The Helping Hand, huh? She overheard what seemed to be two men talking about a job to gather slimes as she slowly began to open the door and that they were looking for people to help. The man had stop mid sentence as she strolled in, "Hello, I'm Aurora. I overheard that you needed help with a job." 瑤光

It had been a while since he last came to this world. And thankfully by then, he had figured out how to a myriad of needed things, like looking for work, getting food, getting brushes for his hair, finding hot baths even if he longed for showers and oh how he missed his clothes. He missed his clothing, the soft silks, the gentle texture of the smooth cotton against one's skin. What he had on now he could only call rags! And apparently his past expertise wasn't as good, as his abilities were seemingly bound to his subclass. Which, he found rather frustrating, which is what you could call having so much experience and knowledge in your head, but your goon like body cannot fathom any of it! He was nervously playing with one of his very long locks of pinkish hair, grumbling to himself as he made his way around the town. His hair was almost 'too' long, some would even call it a hazard, the way it billowed behind him like a cloak. From behind, or maybe even from the front for some people, he would be confused for a woman. Which he hated! Sure he liked being feminine and hell even a little girly, but he wasn't a cross-dresser, nor did he like being referred to as 'girl'. He would narrow those big and bright blue eyes into a mean glare at anyone who mistook him for a woman. As he was making his way, one of his pink ears, which he normally hid or brushed to make look like they were apart of his hair, perked up. Something something, slimes, something something, vials, something, work? He grinned to himself and decided to peek through a nearby window, looking to the two who were talking to this old man who looked like he was one step away from being nothing but wrinkles! Grand decided, that after he brushed himself off and brought out his brush to quickly brush his hair a little straighter, to march in and offer his services to these hardy people! As Aurora would make her way into the shop, Grand would wait for a second..and then another few before he would then 'accidentally' bump her more into the store and would quickly put on a slight shocked face. "Oh my! Please do forgive me!" He said looking to Aurora "I'm ever so sorry, I was going to come in here, after hearing something about a job being offered and I guess I got distracted and didn't see you in the door way. I'm dreadfully sorry." He'd say and whip out a handkerchief from a pocket and quickly helps to wipe Aurora's face clean, even if it was already. "Here we go, dreadfully sorry, terribly sorry." He would take the cloth away and smiles kindly to her before nodding and looking between everyone in the shop. "I assume we're all here for the same reason, no?" He asks, curious before he then smiles and yanks the two others towards him, his arms around either of their necks "I cannot wait to start working with one another!" He laughed heartily and then gave both of their backsides a playful slap before he would slide himself out from between the two "Ah forgive me though, making such a ruckus without so much as an introduction. I am Grandeur." He would turn around, whipping his pink hair into the air about him, looking (or at least trying to) like something out a shampoo commercial as he would look to them and strikes a fabulous pose! "Grandeur Legrand! Please allow me to help you on this quest and I promise upon my fabulous hair, that I shall complete this to the best of my ability!" He would then grin to the two of them, expecting a laugh or two! |

“ I speak to the wolf, but why? As soon as Fall went to ask the question, his answer showed up. Stood at the door was a rather thin individual, her golden eyes very distinct in the bland dark store. She appeared to be on the same boat as the druid and needed work, something he was rather thankful for. Whilst it wasn’t too difficult to find a fellow adventurer to join in some work, it was always nice to have someone volunteer.
“Yes, I could use some assistance for slime hunting. Whilst this isn’t the most challenging, it could take up a lot of time. We are going to have to track down some slimes, research their behaviour and collect material for Mr Altuvero.” Barus nodded in confirmation.
Out the corner of his eye he couldn’t help but notice something pink in the window, peering through at the group. A not so subtle pink poof of hair disappeared from site. Thinking nothing of it, he turned his attention back to potion maker. Not a second went by till the door was slowly open, revelling a very flamboyant figure. There was a look of shock, followed by a large smirk. This boy/girl, Fall couldn’t tell, started go on some sort of speech which consisted of posing and more. It ended with a pat on the backside and an offer to join the team.
The druid took a deep breath, followed by a long sigh. “You know, if we weren’t in the city I’d probably would have feed you to my wolf. I do not care who joins me on this quest, but if you are then I suggest meeting me outside.” He turned and walked towards the door. “And do not touch me again.”
As we walked outside he squinted as his eye’s slowly adjusted to the light, he yawned. ‘Okay, time to make my way to the forest.’ He whistled, summoning his mount to his side. ‘I wonder if these two also have mounts. If not I guess they can jump on.’
“Yo, do you two have mounts? If not then jump on the back, plenty of room on grumpy face.” He gestured towards his mount.

Count 'em:363 Jams:Motherland Ramblings:??? Willing Victims: Fallout Just as she was about to walk into the little bland establishment, she felt something force itself in and made her tumble over. It was this pink fluffy haired...thing, Aurora felt this extreme anger surfacing as the pink mass moved to clean her face. Her eyes twitched as a growl ripped from her chest, she tried to snap at it as fast as she could, but the fluff backed away before she could. From the pink blob's voice, it was obviously male, but his tone grated on her nerves. She took a deep breath to try and calm herself down then slowly pushed herself off the ground. Before she knew it, she and the other person was pulled into the pink man's embrace. She flashed him a quick glance before letting another growl escape pass her lips. A unknown sensation made a shiver crawl up her spine, she looked back to see her rear end being felt up. Her entire body started to tremble as she grit her teeth together, she couldn't believe her eyes. Anger swelled up in her tiny frame, her trembling quickly got more violent as if she was a volcano about to erupt. She watched the lecherous creep introduce himself with clenched fists, her face was burning red. From his twirl to his pose it screamed Do Not Associate and after he was done, Aurora walked up to him with a sincere smile then swung her leg at his to make him fall over. "Touch me again, and I will end you," she muttered as she followed the other man out the door. Her body was still heaving from the anger, it was going to be some time before she could get calm again. She perked her head up when she was offered the ride on the wolf, Grumpy Face. She looked at the wolf that was trailing behind, "Your name is Grumpy Face or is that an actually your nickname?" Not even a word back, he must he really quiet. "I'm fine by myself, I don't want to give the poor guy more hassle than I have to." 瑤光

“ I speak to the wolf, but why? Aurora turned the offer down, Fall was not surprising. Not many people felt comfortable around his mount. She did look a little angry, once again the druid was not surprised. Fall himself wasn’t joyful about being felt up.
“It’s okay Grumpyface, you can still journey with us. Come, walk beside” Fall pated his friend before hoping off, bringing himself by Aurora’s side.
‘I see no reason why we should be able to complete this today, unless something gets in our way of course. Something always happens, well 99% of the time at minimum’
He turned his head to the store to check if the strange pink one was following, apparently not. Fall wouldn’t have joined either, especially not after two death threats. Regardless of their strange encounter it was a nice day. The sky was relatively clear, it was a mild temperature. Not too hot, not too cold. Fall’s ideal day for hunting.
“Let us head off to our destination, it will be good to get to know my partner as we journey.” Fall spoke calmly as he tugged on his mount to follow. Making his way to the edge of town, he kept an observant eye.
“I apologies if I seem on edge, I’m not on best terms with the guards of this city. A recently got into an argument with the guard captain. Captian Julius Baxtons hates my guts, as of right now most guards have it out for me. It’s not ideal, but I can live with it. If we come across a group of guards I would like you to leave my side, no need for you to be affiliated with me.” Fall explained.
