"The city is more than just a place to drink and have a good time! ... Kind of."
A loud, rambunctious fellow was yelling in an open space in London. Many were looking at her (or for some, they mistake HER for a HIM) and were starting to think that she was crazy. Seeing that she got most of the adventurers' attention though, she flashed a wide grin of victory, as it was what she wanted the whole time. Clearing her throat, she continued speaking. The topic of her speech was vague at best.
"As I said, drinking is the best pastime invented by humans since the times of old! Because of this, we must drink to our hearts' content!"
Putting her hands on her hips, she proudly announced what seemed to be a plan she's thought of. The past few days have been really bland to her. The very first thing that was her priority once she entered Elder Tale was to escape from the stressful daily life she had and find a place where she can do whatever she wanted and not be bound by any responsibility. Of course, it made her look like a child but she was completely aware of it. People called her a child in an adult's body whenever she was in Elder Tale, but she didn't care. What mattered to her was that her fantasy was being fulfilled and she was having as much fun as she wanted. Winking with a grin, she gave everyone a thumbs up and announced her plan.
"Tonight, we will have a nice drinking party! Oh, but how can we have a drinking party without any booze, ya ask?
Of course, she wanted to also practice her craft, something that she has been proud of her entire life. In the real world, she was the heir to a brewery and she was trained in the fine art of a good drink. Because of that, she was inspired to become a brewer in Elder Tale as well. Of course, it was also because she's always loved a good drink. And in a world with no bounds, she wanted to enjoy it as much in excess as possible. If her plan worked, not only will her craft be improved in the game, but she can also have a good time.
"In exchange for the completely awesome drinking party I'm planning, I just need... a small donation! Think of it as a Bring Your Own Booze kind of thing! Ya know, you bring the gold or the goods, and I bring the booze! That, or we can bring on the hunt! Kill those monsters so we can have all the drinks we want for basically free! Whaddya say~?"
With that, she concluded her speech with a confident wink. Elder Tale has changed for some time. At first, she thought that all the alcohol in the game was completely horrible, as everything didn't have a taste at all. However, a small discovery by someone led to a huge ray of hope for her. Finally, she was able to become a brewer with a goal of creating the best-tasting and most potent concoctions in Elder Tale! An air of silence and uneasiness loomed around the square, but she didn't care. She knew that someone somewhere agrees with her idea of fun.
So she waited... and waited... despite the silence.

Sitting at her desk in the back of Westminster Abbey, Kazuko opened up one of the large tomes in front of her as she stared out the window. It felt like it had been so since she ended up in this world of Elder Tale that things like this began to feel natural now. Kaguri was on top of the building watching adventurers and People of the Land go by quietly, often the two would go out together and see how the people were doing and other times Kazuko would fill her time reading and tending the Abbey. Every so often an adventurer would show up who got revived but they never stayed long and none of them could ever see anything more than the young girl taking care of the place.
She had had now taken to using her racial passive to hide her fox ears and tail whenever she could after a couple days in being harassed for being a priestess with animal ears. The extra attention also bothered her a bit so she decided it was better to keep them hidden around strangers, Kagari was the only one who got to see them regularly and the ribbon girl didn’t care much and was invisible to everyone else unless they were also of the shaman or priest class. There also seemed to be a growing amount of unease and uncaringness sweeping through the townsfolk of London. On Kazuko and Kagari’s first outings there was full of bustling happiness of people partying with friends, crafting and researching things even if they failed for some reason, and laughing with their friends. Things had only just recently improved slightly though due to someone discovering a way to make food and drink have flavor other than water and soggy bread.
Today she was staring out her window like usual when reading a book when loud shouts of an announcement could be heard. Closing the book in front of her and opening the window, Kazuko sat back down and listened to the female voice making the announcement. ‘A drinking party for the whole town?' The girl thought leaning back in her chair to stare out the open window. She was supposed to be tasked with helping Kagari with what she could, but this party sounded like it might cheer people up, plus it might be a good chance to talk some people up into helping out the new world they all found themselves in. After all if they all had to live together now in this one place completely cut off they needed to work closer together now more than ever. “Hey Kagari I’m going to head out now, alright?" She called out while tilting her head toward the ceiling to project her voice upward.
Standing up from her chair Kazuko placed her book back on the shelf and went through the abbey to make sure the other rooms were locked up except the confessionals and the main area, which didn’t have a lock anyway, and went through the large wooden front doors. She wouldn’t be far but the girl brought her bow anyway and looked up at the rooftops, hopefully everything would be fine here until she got back from checking out this party thing.

The Obnoxious Entry! It may have just been Rayleigh's good fortune to the plaza as the young brew master proclaimed her intent. He has started to acclimate to Elder Tale and as such, bored of the waiting. He had yet to really get out and do much, not out of fear but reason. The fear of death had been vanquished early on in his time here, but other than generally socializing with people, helping emotionally and waiting for an exit from the game there wasn't really much motivation for him to do anything. Except drinking parties. There is always time for drinking parties.
Pushing through the crowd to get closer to Taiga as she spoke his ears perked up at the idea of "booze". He had yet to taste any booze in this world that didn't taste like watered down beer. Rayleigh's size made it easy for him to break apart the crowd and escape the wall of bodies that surrounded the energetic speaker. Once clear of the bulk of the crowd he was free to step right up to Taiga, with a broad grin on his face. Before speaking he outreached his large hand to her to request a handshake. Despite being 6'8" and towering over her, he still came off as friendly.
"Hello!" his voice boomed across the plaza, filled with energy and excitement. "So you little missy want to supply enough liquor for all of us?" He threw his left hand up over his shoulder, pointing his thumb towards the crowd behind him, as if he was speaking for them. "Didn't hear about brewers crafting a decent ale, not without using the system anyway. You got any of the good stuff?" He said, suggesting manually crafted products. Anything crafted through the interface came out as tasteless imitations, very much not the "good stuff".
Rayleigh hoped he had not come off as too pushy, but this kind of thing got his blood pumping, and not just for the drinks. Murmurs of cooks able to produce tasty food took a while to propagate through the disorganized adventurers but almost everyone knew of it now. He had put two and two together like many other people and assumed the other crafting professions may work in a similar way, but success was rarely seen this early on. His inquisitive mind could only hope for a breakthrough in booze production, leading to hope for the rest of the protections.
And… I'd really just like to finally have a stiff drink. he admitted to himself.

Maximus was a good bit away from all the hustle and bustle of the plaza, resting under a nearby oak tree to escape from the sun which was pounding down hard on what was left of the city. Suddenly there was a loud voice which echoed across some of the surrounding buildings. His lethargy began to transform into something else at the mention of a certain magic word. Liquor. While some certainly existed in this world, it was all far worst tasting than anything he'd ever be drink much less open his wallet to pay for. The prospect of something else to drink however besides water was something not to be taken lightly by any means.
After all, it was the rightful duty of a college student to seek out booze whenever possible and it was something he has faithfully adhered to in the 6 years he's been in school. Maximus groaned and stretched as he picked up his spear and started to make his way over to the center of the newfound excitement. His red hair was in an obvious mess from when he was resting, and his attempts to fix it were not very successful. Oh well. Not like anyone ever complimented a wolf hair for being particularly well groomed. It was near impossible to get it to not be spiky and difficult to work with.
He approached the now small crowd of people who surrounded this blonde haired, boy? Donations and, BYOB? That was a common tactic for those who were too poor to afford to drink on their own. So they'd mooch off everyone else's beer. Problem is here though, everyone is poor because nobody has done much of anything yet to have enough money for crafting and beyond the basic and tasteless daily needs. However there was something more pressing he needed to ask. "How do you plan on creating it to be good enough for tonight?" He spoke up, his question directed at the yellowish ringleader. "Without the system to do it for us, it can take awhile" On an off month where he'd been laid off a part time job in the real world, he once attempted to make his own beer on the cheap using a set of instructions he found on the internet. Needless to say it took more than a few hours and it turned out terribly. Maybe he already had something already in the process of being made.

There was a large man who broke the long silence that surrounded her. It was a relief, since she didn't know if others were interested. For sure, everyone's minds were in the dark. To her, it should only take a small push to try and make everyone have a good time like her. Everyone was taking the game in a too dark of a perspective to her and she didn't like it. She wanted to shake things up a bit. The man was curious if she already had the alcohol. Although, the 'little missy' comment made her snicker. She knew that the system was what limited the brewers from creating the perfect ale, the drink even more precious than gold, the brew that can give people a good time and of course, a good buzz. To answer the man, she grinned at him and answered with absolute confidence.
"Nah, ya silly! I don't have the booze right now! However..."
It seemed like there was another boy who wanted to get in on the drinking party. However, Taiga had a look as if what she was about to say was going to make what she announced a lot better. She wanted to have a drinking party. She wasn't giving up on that, since she wanted everyone to experience the same kind of fun that she was having in the game. Of course, that mostly involved getting drunk and going off doing what she liked, but that was her own idea of having fun. She just wanted everyone to not care about worries in the world and just enjoy their stay in this new world. Besides, it's a fresh start for everyone.
"Ya all know that things can come from scratch now! Food and drinks don't have to taste like crappy paper and starchy mess! I got a plan for everyone, so listen up and listen well! If you could all help me gather ingredients, I can provide the fine-tasting golden brew that you all know and love!"
She gave everyone a thumbs up. Thinking to herself that she was on a roll, and that she got everyone's attention, she continued on.
"IRL, I own a brewery and they taught me all they can. If I use that, add in the fact that if we do things like we do in real life, and the fact that I'm also a brewer class... Voi-freaking-la! Whaddya get? Booze!"
With that, she let out a hearty laugh as she waited for others to react with shock and awe from her wonderful idea.
