One of the various advantages to the current ruined state of the city is that the various ruined pillars and places could serve as excellent vantage points for whatever your needs were. Whether it was to get a prime spot for long range sniping, or in Tali’s current case, people watching as he waited for something to do.
Things had been rather slow lately; things were settling down a bit after the initial shock of the catastrophe. Some groups had started to head out into the wilds to explore and determine what had changed in the game and possibly discover a solution to the current difficulties. Tali was tempted to join up with one of them; the city was starting to get a little boring after all, and what could be more exciting than adventuring with friends?
The quest, then, was to pick out a promising looking group. So far that had been a bit difficult. Sure, he had gotten offers; his current appearance of a female avatar guaranteed that. Apparently even when this was now “real life”, some things never changed in the world of gaming. Most of those offers were quickly turned down, and if they persisted, well, Assassins were quite good at running and hiding. And if that still didn’t work, a revelation about his gender situation would be enough to scare them off. It wasn’t that he wasn’t uncomfortable with the attention; he was used to it after all, and admittedly enjoyed playing the persona a bit when it suited him. But still didn’t necessarily mean he was interested in hanging out with a group of players whose intentions were glaringly obvious.
So, that brought him to his current situation, sitting on a ruined pillar overlooking the parliament building, searching for anything that looked promising. The fact that he was sitting cross legged and one hand holding up his bored-looking head probably would attract some attention.

The city was bustling with activity today, as more people became interested in forming alliances for their own reasons, whether was for information, safety or companionship. Emmerich found this to be a great opportunity to form a group, who had eyes for adventure and discovery, like himself. Just the thought of forming a camaraderie, in a world where fantasy is the new reality, fills him with excitement. He wondered through the crowd, struggling to maneuver his rather larger frame, but still kept his sunny disposition. He looked at each individual face, trying decide whom to recruit.
His wondering expressive brown eyes fell a upon, a young man, wearing a robe and wielding a stick longer than himself, just a few feet away from his position. Emmerich assumed the boy was a cleric, just perfect for his ideal group. Slowly, he advanced over to him. When he got close enough, he gave a welcoming smile and gesture to the robed young man.
"Good day!" he greeted warmly, to robed young man.
The boy was startled at first by the sudden loud greeting; His body froze, like a deer in head lights. After the initial shock, He mustered the courage to speak.
"H-hello?" he replied back, with timidity in his youthful voice.
"Sorry, sorry, didn't been to alarm you, friend." Emmerich said, as he sheepishly rubbed the back of his neck. He wanted to simply start out good greeting, too bad.
"I'm looking for some people to go traveling with, to explore this world with, do you want to join with me?" Emerich looked down at the boy, with a smile.
"Um, no, I"m sorry, I can't" the boy said, with timidity one again noticeable in his voice, and walked way.
"I guess I came off kinda strong." he said to himself once the boy was out of sight. He didn't take the rejection that seriously, he wasn't the kind that worries over something so minor. There were still plenty of other players out here today, some of whom have potential be a part of a camaraderie with him, he just knows it!

"Bah, there's was even more people here than the other day...." Damian sighed as he sat on-top of a Lander's brick house while eating some bread that he was given as a quest reward, it wasn't a real bother to jump from the said roof into a wooden cart full to the brim of hay; as Damian was eating he spotted a number of people that interested him, such as the female that was sitting on a broken pillar which would probably hurt if sat the wrong way. And the Guardian looking fellow who was bellowing out good cheer down upon the cracked cobblestone paving. The bread tasted like cardboard but the Enchanter could not complain as he was giving the expression of a bored animated cow in which was slowly yes progressively munching on a piece of bread, it was a very lively yet boring day in this world and Damian was getting annoyed that he didn't have anything to pursue his interest; nearly giving up the enchanter looked towards the direction where the assassin looking female was and decided to waste some time talking to another person who seemed to like the high ground. Damian hopped into the cart full of hay in which he attracted some attention by doing so but ended up swiftly getting out that it would only seem that a handful of people saw the enchanter to a "assassin creed dive" and still lived; as Damian was swerving through the massive group of adventurers and landers alike, he bumped into the guardian that he saw was full of spirit, Damian didn't care of the fact that he rudely bumped into a person wearing such heavy armour and moved on without looking back. The enchanter had finally reached his goal: the pillar, and was still seeing the assassin had not yet notice his presence or frankly ignored the enchanter perhaps? well Damian doesn't care either way and leaned against the pillar as he asked the woman "so do you always like high places?" as a conversion starter to get the event starting.

So far there still didn’t seem to be any particularly promising groups forming. Tali had spotted one guy who had tried to recruit some cleric, but his size and boisterous personality had scared him off. He could sympathize with that; he could be rather extroverted himself, and plenty of people could have trouble with that. Of course he couldn’t think of any time he had scared someone off but, eh, always a first time for that. At some point in the future of course.
The more interesting thing was watching the guy swan dive off a roof and then swerve his way through the crowds to this little pillar. Apparently someone was rather excited about seeing him, though the guy’s expression over all looked as exciting as watching paint dry. Still, he was the first to approach him all day. Wouldn’t hurt to at least talk to him a little bit.
Swinging around a bit, he let his legs dangle over the edge a bit, just gently kicking them a bit.
”Well, no better place to people watch then above them all, no?” he said, making sure to adjust his voice to sound more feminine.
With a slight push he jumped down onto the ground. With a quick turn he faced the newcomer, letting one arm dangle while placing the other hand onto his hips.
”But I’ll admit I prefer talking to people face to face; you miss out a lot about a person if you aren’t looking at them when talking.”
Just glancing over the guy was enough to tell Tali he was probably one of the mage classes, though the black outfit wasn’t all that appealing. Kind of hypocritical yes considering his own outfit, but he always thought mages looked better in blues and whites. Except maybe a necromancer; they could sport black and fit….
Shaking the thoughts out of his head, he focused back on the guy.
”So then, was there something I could help you with?”

While in deep thought of whom, in this sea of players, to choose for his camaraderie, his wondering eye caught a glimpse, of another robed young man, this one dropped himself into a cart filled with hay, from a roof of a house. In his mind, Emmerich took this man's reckless act of self endangerment, as something worthy of praise. Such a man who takes risk, has to definitely be adventuring material! He felt he must get him to join, at all cost. He watches as the robed man came over to his general direction. This time, instead of coming to him, he'll try greet him, the moment he is near. "Hello~! I'm--" Before he could get another word in, the robed man passed by him, generating a metallic ping as he push against his armor. Emmerich thought the robed him didn't hear him. And so, follow him through the crowd. Once again he had to deal with struggling with his large frame, and the surrounding bodies of fellow players. But he'd be damned if he'd let such a man, with that much moxie, escaped from him! He would eventually, find him, and another player, a blonde young woman, wearing some immodest clothes, talking in the thinner area of the crowd. Slowly, he approached them, giving a warm smile and gesture to both him, and what he assumes to be his associate, as he advanced forward. "Hello, and good day!" he said, smiling down at them. His bright blue eyes wavered between them both.

there were a number of things that made the enchanter quite confused: the manner of how the assassin came down the pillar, the way that she spoke at first and the gesture of how she put her hand on her hip; it interested on why that was carried out in such a way as to "act" like a suave female, it didn't seem right as Damian subconsciously tilt his head in a quite perplexed manner, after a second of not responding while Damian was figuring out the reason on why the assassin did such actions in such a way, he was about to ask about to speak out loud "are you really fe-" but was cut-ten off by the rowdy man that he bumped into earlier. A number of things was questioning Damian and he had to do something before he makes a fool of himself, the enchanter adjusted his mask so they can realise that he had enough of the half a second silence and began to think for a couple of seconds, noticing that the assassin had probably heard what the enchanter was about to say and thus sprung his little plan to action. "ok, slow down a minute or two, *cough* i don't believe either any of us had spoken to each other as of late and first met each other now, yes? so I would kindly introduce myself first, my username in this world is Obelisk, and for those who want to know my real name, it is Damian, Damian Metro Blake" another pause and a gesture for the other two to acquaint them both with their names and Damian began to continue talking, "right now I must apologise to the lady right now of finding out your secret so quickly" Damian bows towards her only slightly but when finished he continued and spoke over anyone who would of interrupted "and it would seem that you were paying quite close interest to some people including Emmerich and I when some groups of adventurers were going hunting in the Woods, do you want to also go out of the safe zone and fight as a team in the Windsor woods? it'll be good experience and i'm a decent support and strategist although i don't think i may look to play the part as one though", Damian looks at Emmerich, "and you sir, what businesses are you intrigued on enlightening me upon? you were in quite a hurry to pursue a being such as I" with leaving a questions to the both and an apology towards the assassin as well, Damian does not hold back his unique interest to the two in front of him.

Had he overdone it a bit? It seemed that the enchanter was getting suspicious, although it wouldn’t be anything that he probably couldn’t out argue. Not that it mattered much, but it was kind of not fun when someone figured things out so quickly. Before anyone said anything, however, they were joined by the rather big and boisterous man Tali had spotted earlier. Well, guess it made sense; he was obviously looking for a group, and him and the enchanter here were looking like one.
”You can simply call me Tali if you wish, Assassin class.” he replied as part of his introduction. Right now Obelisk was staring to rub him the wrong way; even if he had figured things out, the way he was going about making that known seemed rather off-putting. More importantly, if he wasn’t revealing that sort of stuff blurting it out, even under subtleness, was kind of rude. But he was willing to give a second chance.
”Hunting in the woods sounds good enough. I was just interested in finding something to do other than hang out in the city again,” he replied ,”Anyway, as you probably know, as an assassin I am well equipped to do high damage to the enemy.”
Looking over at the other person who had joined him with the corner of his eye, he smiled,”And I assume you’re a guardian with all that armor, no?”
Over all, if they got along, the three of them seemed a decent enough group for hunting lower leveled monsters. He could do the damage, the guardian guy some crowd control and agro, and the enchanter doing his support thing.

Emmerich stood there patiently, and listed to their conversation. This talk about a secret, didn't interest him. What did though was the enchanter, whom called himself 'Obelisk', and his proposal of exiting the city and venturing out to woods. He was grinning ear to ear with the thought of it. But there was something that he found odd. How did this man knew his name? He didn't remember giving out it out through his greeting. Was there a way of checking other player info just like in the game too? He thought players could only check their own info in this version of the game. This discovery made him quite curious. And then curiosity turned to action. He brought a index finger up to Obelisk while he was talking, and was about to 'click' on him. But his line of thought was broken, when asked by Obelisk, for his reasons for pursuing him. He lowers his hand and smiles at the enchanter. "I found your display of risk taking impressive, you seem to be quite the adventuring material, I couldn't let you go without recruiting you" he continued, "And yes! I will join you both!" he said, becoming more excited as he spoke; The energy in his voice and his mannerisms got stronger after each word. " Together we will form a camaraderie, never seen before!" He then gave a great big hardy laugh, flashing his teeth as he did. Once he was done, he turned to the assassin, Tali. "Why, yes! I am!" he answered her with pride in his voice, and put a fist to his chest.
