“In a manner of speaking and keeping the answer rather short for now: Yes, this is all I’ve got for the moment.” Bailin replied to Steel’s inquiry regarding his skillset. Bailin followed his reply with another stab at the boar, placing his feet close together, and then lunging in and, with nearly stretched arm, stabbed the boar again. “That’s mightily kind of you to draw its attention, but if you require me to take over, just tell me. Can’t do much myself but even a hero needs a rest on occasion. Besides that, what’s the worst that could happen?” Bailin grinned. Well… we could die, get maimed or the boar stops eating berries, mushrooms and the lot and starts to eat proper food like meat. There’d also of course be the shame in getting our pretty little butts kicked by a flipping boar…. And where the hell is HE? I know the cavalry comes fashionably late but this is even worse… maybe I should start calling him Italian, slow to advance, quick to retreat, if he shows up at all…., darn him and his timing. Bailin thought as he gave a quick look over his shoulder to the general direction he had recently came running from, hoping to see his friend showing up, at long last.

"Maybe you should try using a shield or some sort of skill then, that would improve your combat style instead of just using a rapier which you don't seem to have any attacks for." Steel exclaimed as he continued dodging the charges of the boar. Steel kept an eye on the boar's health which was still gradually being depleted due to the bleeding effect. He looked at his own and Bailin's, his HP having been lowered a little from the clashes with the boar while Bailin's HP was still full. "I guess I'll try something crazy!" Steel exclaimed with a bit of a grin as he sheathed his swords and charged at the boar head on, showing no fear. Right before getting headbutted by the boar, Steel ducked under its belly and performed a judo technique to throw it into the air a little. While the judo throw did basically no damage, that was not Steel's aim. He used the Swashbuckler's speed to run up a nearby tree while he drew his swords. After jumping off the tree, he spun in the air before stabbing both of his swords into the boar's back as they both hit the ground. When they got back onto the ground, it was as if Steel was bull riding on this boar with his swords still stabbed into the thing. It wasn't long after the reckless attack that the boar shattered into anima fragments. "Well, that was fun."

Ame stood back and watched the pair as they battled it out with the level five young pitted boar. Her eyes flashed between the two, making sure that they weren't being hit, but so far so good. She hummed lightly as to not interrupt them, but to save herself from the boredom of not doing any of the work and having to just sit back and watch. That was probably the worst thing about being a mentor and helping out the newbies that popped up every now and again, she couldn't fight. Her high level meant that she would have to sit back and let them do all the work, or risk one hitting the monster and killing it right off the bat. She didn't mind standing back, which was what clerics were supposed to do, but she felt an itch for battle. She wasn't always like that. At first, she had felt bad for hurting the creatures and was afraid of the fight, but then, as time went on, she began to lust for it. It was strange what living in a game world would do to a person. Sure, she was friendly and willing to help anyone out who needed it, but she did find herself enjoying a great battle after a time and began to search for the thrill of it. Yup, she was definitely a battle cleric type, but she knew when to step back and keep her thrills at hand.
Once the boar had shattered into glistening glitter, she walked over to the pair. "Well, that was a good run. Great job you guys!" She looked to Bailin at that moment and would speak to him. "What are your skills Bailin? I didn't see you use any, so I'm curious as to why." She didn't know anything about the warden class, other than some could use guns, a new weapon that had popped up randomly on the gear list that she had been reading. She hadn't had the chance to really look into it, or the other one, heretic, though she only knew that they were a somewhat corrupt class. She breathed lightly as she waited for his answer and once he did, she would look to Steel. "How are you two feeling? I know battle can take a lot out of new adventurer's so if you don't wish to continue, we can call it a day, but we still have a while before the sun sets, so I wouldn't mind it if you guys wanted to keep going. But if you get tired, you must rest. Perhaps we should take a short break and I can explain some things to you both and if you have any questions I can try my best to answer them." She smiled at the pair of students and waited for either, or both of them to answer. If they didn't want to go back to town yet, that would be fine, but she would force them to take a small break, as no one could go without one without passing out after a while.

"I'm still not really tired. I guess our physical stamina and such from the real world translates into the game." Steel said as he sheathed his swords again and began stretching a little. "This was nothing, back in the real world, my sensei had us run 5 km everyday as a warmup. But I guess it would be fine to take a break before we continue onward. I need to get my HP and MP back to full anyway, I basically played the tank in this battle so I took a decent amount of damage and I used a good deal of skills that used up my MP." He said after looking at his status bar, his HP having been lowered by 10-15% from the multiple clashes with the boar and his MP was lowered by 20-25%. Luckily a bonus of being a Half-Alv was having a good deal of MP. kittygreyBailin

"Thank you and also thank you." Bailin said, nodding his head as a way of thanks to both Kittygrey and Steel, thanking them for their help with the boar.
"I'm fine, thanks for asking, I'm not that great with running big distances but I am sort of used to the hurry up, wait, bash-in-someone's-skull-routine." Bailin spoke, gently smiling at the notion.
"Yes, my skills, well, I don't have any that are melee combat related at the moment, to be honest. At the moment I'm more of an out of combat supporter rather than a fighter. I can hold my own in battle, I guess but without firearms.... which would require some explanation. First off I think I'd go with my brilliant sense of timing. I've started playing the game very recently, more or less got dragged in here by a mate of mine. He's also the one I was supposed to meet out here, but his timing is less then German." Bailin winked, hoping the others would know of the rumoured German punctuality, if not he might have to explain, and thus ruining, the joke.
"So as you might know, wardens have access to and can use firearms, without blowing themselves up or something fun when you don't know how to use it. However, my mate forgot to mention to me you don't start with one. As you might have guessed, he dragged me in and more or less told me I'd enjoy the warden class because of: Guns! And on that point he was right. Thus I picked mostly firearm related skills and the M.U.T., think of it as a Swiss Army knife with a shovel, saw and drill." Bailin grinned, "On the bright side, I can hit moving targets from a bit away, once I get my hands on a firearm."
"Also Steel, that's the reason I don't have a shield and use a rapier, my mate enjoys roleplaying in games so I decided to join in and role-play a musketeer, the Prussian kind not the French. But using a shield combined with a firearm would be troublesome in real life so I figured, as it's a game and we're roleplaying, I'd leave the shield out. Now I sort of wished I hadn't, because shields come in pretty darn handy when fighting angry boars and the lot. And yes, Steel your idea was crazy, but crazy is good on occasion." Bailin continued grinning, Steel's attack had been crazy to the limit but it worked so it probably wasn't that crazy, especially when one compared it to them being stuck in a game.
"So that's about my life story, how about you two? Also, I hope I didn't scare you two off, I'm usually a nice guy." Bailin winked at the two saviours. "If not, I'd like to request your assistance on about three matters I can think of for no, with possibly more following later. First I'd like to ask you to help me find my mate, who should be around here somewhere. Secondly I'd really, really like to learn the basics, that way I don't need to keep running to others to have them save my cute butt. Thirdly I could do with a weapon upgrade and preferably a firearm. Would you please be so kind as to help me on these three points. In return I can offer you my help and build nice shelters in the field, which give a small bonus, if I'm not mistaken." spoke Bailin politely and as humbly as he could. These two saved him from the boar and here he was asking even more of them, without being able to offer them anything that substantial in return.

"Dig holes...Sure why not...Bloody ideas of mine." Muttered Oddy as he jogged in the direction where Bailin and the boar ran off to.
"Never counted on that level 5 boar though oh well my bad." Chuckled Oddy. a few minutes ago he and Bailin were interrupted in their cunning plan, camp outside the city dig holes for the mobs to fall in and then kill them without mercy but noo the game had other ideas. Oddy sighed.
"I'll never know why I can't log out now oh well! Better get to Bailin and see if he needs my help." Mmmh, I wonder where Bailin is....Probably pissed off I didn't save him in time most likely. Heh always fun that guy. chuckled Oddy while still jogging in the direction Bailin ran off to while being chased by an angry boar.
After a couple of hundred meters Oddy slowed to a walk, "Well...I think there is a group or something over there." Muttered Oddy as he neared the location where Bailin was talking with some other people although Oddy did not know that. "Better be safe than sorry and not do anything aggresive now might be player killers for all I know." Whispered Oddy to himself while pulling the black scarf over his mouth.
Welp, it is showtime! "Ello! Folk! Ye be good people or ye be baddies?" Shouted Oddy at the group in the distance while he came closer and closer while looking as safe as possible. "I wonder if ye might've seen a friend of me running past ye or in ye general direction being chased by a menacing boar! He had TUSKS thiiiiiis big!" Shouted Oddy again while demonstrating how big the tusks were.

As Steel was the first to speak, Ame turned her head to him to address him first. She nodded with a small smile. "Yes, that may be possible as you basically become your character when you are first," She paused for a moment, thinking of the word that would best describe the situation. "Teleported here, i suppose." She nodded at the word, feeling that that was exactly how it had felt when she herself had been teleported into the new world. "However, you must always think of your surroundings and the group you are in. Others may not be able to keep up with your stamina, so it is only right to keep an eye out for your group." She smiled and then heard Bailin speak. As he thanked them both, she nodded to him in respect, though really, she was only doing what she had set out to do anyways, which was help any new players that had become apart of the game so that they might grow faster than even she had.
She tilted her head at the first words that came from him, mainly the sarcasm towards his German friend that he was supposed to meet. She then wondered why the man didn't have the fire arms that he needed for his class, as she was sure that she had seen an update of the starter gear, but more or less, that was a decision that the player had made. Perhaps he just didn't see the gun in the starter list. Even still, she would tell him where to buy things and how to progress in levels pertaining to his class and equipment. She then smiled at his next words, of how his friend had told him about the warden class, though perhaps he didn't know either. Or perhaps she had been mistaken when she had read the update that had come into effect not too long ago. Even still, he would need to purchase the weapon as soon as he possibly could, or he might not be able to make it should any thing come up for him. Upon the next thing he said, she nodded and added to what he was saying. "Some classes can't use shields either. I know that I can't, even if I had chosen a wand, which is a one handed weapon. Really, the only class that even needs a shield is the guardian class, as their skills actually call for it in most cases. But, like Bailin said, he uses firearms, and in most cases, even though he only has a rapier for now, it would probably hurt his accuracy when firing his gun." She shrugged her shoulders lightly. She was a thinker and always tended to analyze the situations of battle before they even came up.
Upon his last words, Ame smiled and shook her head. "No, you didn't scare me of at all. It's normal for new players to act like you are and I assure you, there is nothing wrong with that. As for my story, I joined the apocalypse about two months or so ago and had never before played the game. I had played other MMO's but nothing to this extent." She put her hands out and looked at the grounds around her. "Obviously." She let out a small laugh and then continued. "I got used to the role of a cleric, though in the other games I was essentially support all the time, but this world sort of forces you into battle so I took on the role of a battle cleric. I honestly prefer it that way, as I can be on the front lines if need be or in bigger groups I can take a step back and be the support. It all depends on how you wish to play the game. I won't say I prefer solo missions, though sometimes I do, and if I had decided to remain as a support cleric, there would be no way of me being able to do them." She smirked and then looked back to Bailin to answer his question of help. "I would be more than happy to help. We should find your friend first so that when I explain the map and some other essential things, then he can hear them as well. As for your need of firearms, once we get back to Londinium I can show you where to purchase one. When your levels are higher, you'll need to rely on other players who are blacksmiths to get higher leveled weapons. They can also make armor but if you need cloth or leather, you'll need to find a tailor." She nodded, but in the distance, she could see someone running up to them. As the words chimed in her ears upon the new arrivals yelling, she smirked again. "Well, I don't think we will need to find your friend. Looks like he found us!" She pointed to the new arrival and let out a giggle. She put her hand in the air and waved. "He's over here!" She called out and then let her arm rest, smirking at the incredible coincidence.

"Understood senpai." Steel said in response to Kitty telling him to remember about the other people around him. It was just as she said, there would be people that wouldn't be able to keep up with his stanima and physical ability. He should have remembered that already having prior experience with the matter. It reminded him of how he seemed to beat anyone outside of his martial arts class in terms of athleticism. Usually that didn't cause much of a problem in gym class, even in team based sports. However, there was one time when that turned into an issue. One day during a athletic festival at school, he was one of the two people representing their class for the male three legged race. His overwhelming athletic ability compared to his partner resulted in Takeshi basically sprinting on his own while paying no heed to the poor soul he was dragging along behind him at that same speed. And now it seemed even more important for Steel to remember that. He then began to listen to kitty's explanation of weapon basics to Bailin and nodded in agreement. "I remember once when I met a Warden last week or so and I decided to try using a gun in one hand and one of my swords in the other, thinking I could make use of it in a fight since I can duel wield as a Swashbuckler. I tried it out on a slime. While I charged at it, I would fire at it with the gun in my left hand to keep it from moving and when I got close enough, I would slash at it with my sword. Unfortunately, that idea only half worked because I'm not the right class to use a gun, leading to an accuracy debuff with the gun. It sort of sucks to be limited to certain weapons based on your class." He then got information about an update from the system. "Never mind about the part about not being able to use a gun. Swashbucklers can now use one handed guns! yatta!" He exclaimed excitedly, using Japanese for that last part. "I actually wanted to do the gun and sword style sometimes!" "You didn't scare me either, why on earth would you think that would scare anyone?" Steel said bluntly in response to Bailin's question of whether the event was fearful. "Do you think we're a bunch of kids? It'll take a whole lot more than a guy running away from a boar to scare someone." He then listened to Bailin's next question about life stories. Kitty had answered first and it seemed that people were teleported, as kitty mentioned earlier, into the game at different times. "Ah, my life story is that I started playing this game in Japan and then when I moved to London, I made a new character. That's basically it." He then began to think of something. "I have a question then, what's happening in the real world? If what you say is true and we all got into this game at different times, that means people would have had to disappear or fall unconscious. I came into this game about a week or two ago but during the time gap between when senpai came into this game and when I did, there was no news about anyone having disappeared or fallen unconscious. Just what's going on here?" A voice then broke his train of thought when a newcomer came onto the scene. In Steel's opinion, the way he greeted the three of them was a bit odd. Steel then looked at the newcomer's status screen and saw he was an Assassin with an equally weird name. "I'm going to assume that guy is the earlier mentioned friend you were asking us to search for?" He asked Bailin. It seemed that kitty was in agreement. "Well, we already found him." kittygreyBailinoddytiudnir

“Oh, that’s a relief, I was actually scared myself, the boar not counting, that you might decide to help the boar murder me. I’m very glad you decided not to.” Bailin smiled at the two of them, Well Kitty is nice enough, though that Steel fellow looks a bit grumpy, though it’s probably because he had other plans, plans that did not involve saving my cute little butt from that meddlesome boar.
“If I’m not mistaken I can use shields as a warden, but I’d prefer not to use one, like I said: I think it might get in the way and or slow me down when I’m using a firearm. I am also very glad you are a cleric, ma’am.” Bailin winked to Kittygrey, “That healing spell of yours is mighty kind and useful, especially to a new guy like me. And sticking together makes sense, what was it again: A pile of building materials is no more a house than an angry mob is an army… or something like that, I think…” “Well that would be great if we could! Though as a warden I don’t think I can make that much use of a blacksmith for my armor, if my mate explained it correctly I need a mechanic for that, but if I need new clothes, knowing a tailor would be nice indeed. Also: a firearm would be nice indeed.” Bailin grinned, looking at both Kittygrey and Steel. “I find it logical at the one hand one cannot use a weapon when your class is not proficient, on the other hand, if I recall my history correctly: The English long bowman was far more accurate than those with early muskets, but it was cheaper to give soldiers muskets because they didn’t need the training you needed for the longbow. Though that’s if I remember correctly, also I’m guessing firearms here aren’t that accurate compared to say… the late 1800’s and later. But only one way to find out and that’s by getting one for me.” Bailin grinned even further. “To be honest Steel, I have no clue regarding time. I know I haven’t been around here, so I’m probably not the guy to talk to, but I haven’t noticed me passing out or something. Though I think I remember an anime where the main characters ended up in a situation like us and they did pass out and such. For now however, I think I’m just going to keep assuming that’s not going to happen and if it does: what’s the worst that could happen? We could die… but, assuming we’re stuck in the Elder Tale as we more or less know it, wouldn’t we just respawn? And no, that’s not an invitation to check that theory out on me!” Bailin winked. Turning towards the sound of the shouting Bailin started grinning even bigger as he saw his long lost friend slowly jogging from whence Bailin had come running for his life. Looking back he could see trees and gentle slopes, things he more or less didn’t notice when he was running away. “Yep, that’s him, the wayward son returns. Now if you could excuse me for a little bit, I need to give someone a smack to the back of his head.” Bailin said, walking towards Oddy. “Wo bist du gewesen, du Dummkopf! Und wo sind meine Lederhosen?” Bailin shouted out as a greeting to his friend. Suddenly it appeared into his mind that his new friends might not speak his marvellous German accent so he turned around and shouted loud enough for Kittygrey and Steel to hear: “Oh wait, sorry, I don’t assume either of you speaks German…, roughly translated, I said Hi!, proper translation should bring it more or less to: Where have you been, you dumbass, and where are my lederhosen? Lederhosen are typical Austrian pants, but, well where we come from they are generally considered German. “ Bailin then turned back and started walking to Oddy until they were close enough for each other to shake hands. Polite as Bailin was he reached out his right hand as if to shake Oddy’s hand but quickly raised his hand higher and over Oddy’s head. Then he lowered his hand quickly and smacked the back of Oddy’s head. “You’re late. “he spoke grinningly, “come on, let’s join our new friends. They’re really nice and did your job for you, being: saving my butt from angry monsters.” WC: 742 kittygreySteeloddytiudnir

"Ah! That sounds like music in my ears!" I'm so getting smacked. thought Oddy as he went closer to the group, he spotted his friend and two other people and checked their names. A cat lover most likely...Why does that name remind me of Hello Kitty when I will say hello? Jeez....That other person, well...Steel sounds like a good name heh. Oddy nodded as he saw that the male was a swashbuckler and the female a cleric. Oddy pulled the scarf down from his face as Bailin walked towards him not having heard that he would get a smack on his head. Oddy groaned as he heard what Bailin asked in German. Atleast he doesn't ask for the bicycle this time. "Bailin! You know I'm Dutch because you are Dutch as well and we are both not German! As for your question! I jogged in your direction after you decided to run off with that boar! Also I aint a dumbass! And which leatherpants? You dont have them!" Shouted Oddy back whilst grinning. As Bailin approached and offered his hand, Oddy offered his hand as well when Bailin raised his hand and went above Oddy and then smacked Oddy on the back of his head and said he was late, Oddy responded. "Only late because you ran that fast." Grinned Oddy as he rubbed the back of his head. "New friends eh? The thought never occurred to you that this world is a bit different than...Well..I mean we literally can't log out but eh" Oddy shrugged "Lets meet those new friends then.....And it is not my job to save you from monsters its my job to assassinate monsters and then save your sorry hairy ass." As Oddy and Bailin returned at the small group Oddy first introduced himself and afterwards fired off several questions in succession. "Hello there! I am Oddytiudnir, friend of Bailin and the one who dragged him to this game...Well game...I guess our new life." Grinned Oddy before getting serious. "So, how long have you guys been stuck?" "Why a Cleric?" "Why a Swashbuckler?" "So how does one craft?" "Where can I get me hands on some firearms?" "Bailin no doubt told you that he is a rp'er well so am I!" "He is crazy I am insane." "We're both Dutch." After a while Oddy didn't know any more questions and it degraded into a mess in his head. "Why are there boars here if this is not really a game anymore?" "How can it be that the classes still have restrictions?" "Why is he stronger than me?" "How the 'eck does one manage to fit a bow in his inventory?" "Why are there so many lights?" Then Oddy stopped asking questions and breathed in. "Phew, I went a bit too far with asking questions, my mind wandered off." says Oddy as he shakes his head afterwards looking at Kitty and Steel. "if you have any questions to ask me, then ask me the questions, I will try to be as clear as possible in answering them." Said Oddy while his mind tried to fix the mess by focusing on the song called The Chosen ones by dream evil. We are the chosen ones, we sacrifice our blood
We kill for honor
We are the holy ones our armor stained with blood
We killed the dragon
In glory we return, our destination's end
We slayed the dragon!
No more living in fear it's time to raise our king.
We made it happen we're the chosen ones!
We are the chosen ones, we sacrifice our blood
We kill for honor
We are the holy ones our armor stained with blood
We killed the dragon
We're the chosen ones!
Riding through thunder and lighting once again
We slayed the beast we brought an end
Now we have left the kingdom of the damned Heroes of the day, legends forever!
We are the chosen ones, we sacrifice our blood
We kill for honor
We are the holy ones our armor stained with blood
We killed the dragon
We're the chosen ones!
It seems to me like a journey without end
So many years, too many battles
We've finally arrived, now we're standing at the gates
Heroes of the day, legends forever
In glory we return, our destination's end
We slayed the dragon
No more living in fear it's time to raise our king
We made it happen we're the chosen ones!
We are the chosen ones, we sacrifice our blood
We kill for honor
We are the holy ones our armor stained with blood
We killed the dragon
In glory we return, our destination's end
We slayed the dragon
No more living in fear it's time to raise our king
We made it happen we're the chosen ones!
We are the chosen ones, we sacrifice our blood
We kill for honor
We are the holy ones our armor stained with blood
We killed the dragon Ah...That feels better in my mind.WC 827 kittygreyBailinSteel

Ame looked to Steel as he spoke and flashed him a smile, glad that he understood what she was telling him and nodded at his next words. "That's right, assassin's too can use them as well in place of their bows. The new update was a serious one. New classes, new weapons and even some new skills. It's good to know that we are still being monitored." The last part was a whisper, actually only meant for inside of her own mind but the words had come out. Then, as she heard his next question, her face became grim and she tilted her head. "As far as I am aware, no one was able to take any of their characters from the old game here and as for the other, uh, I mean real world, I honestly have no clue. No one does. If you didn't hear anything strange before you came, then perhaps that means only our souls were transferred here and our bodies are zombies, or.." She didn't really want to say this next part, but she couldn't help it. "Or, perhaps it's like that movie I saw. We just, disappeared and no one even knows that we ever even existed. It sounds impossible, but how impossible would it sound that we were all in this game, actually in it as if it were our own word. If we get out of here, who would believe it?" She shook her head. "I'm sorry, but for your question, I can give no real answers, no one can and trust me, I have asked." She shrugged and then continued. "It's better to not dwell on those things, live your lives as if this was now the real world. Don't forget your families or friends, but live for the moment while you're here. It makes things much easier on the mind." She smiled at the men and then looked to Bailin next.
She smiled and nodded to him. "Yes, new equipment and especially a weapon that fits your class is essential. I can't believe that they would start off with amazing guns, but I don't know a lot about them to begin with. Even still, you would have to research the type of gun you would want. Also, I read on your bio that you are a mechanic, so you could just make your own armor, but yes, for vanity wear such as regular town clothes, you would definitely need a tailor. I know an amazing one. He made all of my armor and my town outfit and a few other things. He just so happens to be my Guilds leader as well. I could give you his contact information if you would like?" She opened her interface, but would wait until he answered her to send the information, until then she smiled and clicked on each of their names. "While I'm here, I'll add you both as friends. That way, if you ever have questions or just need a healer or want to party up, you can send me a message!" Once she clicked 'add as friend' each of their interfaces would automatically open with an 'accept' and 'decline' button. "Also, don't worry about dying. You re spawn at the cathedral, though I will warn you, it hurts more the lower your level, so try not to die. I personally have only experienced being stabbed... twice... but no death yet, but that's what people have told me anyways." She nodded as he stood to meet his friend and tilted her head at the language he spoke. She waited for them to speak and then come over.
As Ame was about to introduce herself, she was bombarded with questions by the new adventurer and if it were an anime that they were in, she would have fell face first into the ground from the attack. She waited patiently with a smile, however, since this was not in fact an anime. Once he had stopped talking, she took in a deep breath, preparing to answer most of the questions that he had asked. "I am KittyGrey, everyone calls me Kitty, I've been here for about two months and I chose to be a cleric because I wanted to help people, as for why Steel is a swashbuckler, once I finish he can answer. It depends on your crafting class, but essentially you need a crafting station. I am a chef, so I need a kitchen. Blacksmiths need a work table, scribes need a pen and paper, alchemists need a lab. Everything on crafting can be found in your interface, but if you have further questions on that I can answer. As for firearms, when we go back to Londinium, I will take you to the Market Place. As for being crazy, I can see that." With that, she let out a giggle, obviously trying to show him that she was only joking, but then continued, taking in another deep breath. "Technically this is still a game, however, the mechanics are a little different. You can activate your skills but saying the word or even thinking of it, so you should give it a try when you get the chance. Class restrictions are in place, I suppose, because this is still a game, and there are still moderators out there somewhere looking over us. Wanna know how I know? We just had an update, which is why your friend Bailin can be a Warden. They weren't around when I first came here. Who is stronger than you? You click on your interface and select inventory then click on the bow icon and slide it into an inventory slot. And, there are so many lights because.. well.. the sun!" Once she was finished, she put her hands to her knees and shook her head. "Geez, you couldn't have asked one at a time?" She giggled and stood up walking to stand between Oddy and Bailin. "On the bottom left of your screen is a button, if you click it," She clicked hers and her interface would pop up, allowing the others to see it as well. It brings up your interface. You can view your map here, this is your inventory, this is a guide book for beginners and this is your friends list." She went through a majority of the things on the interface with them quickly and then sent Oddy a friends request as well. Then she zoomed from her overly large map, theirs wouldn't even be a fraction of hers, and focused on Londinium. "See these yellow icons on the map?" She pointed and clicked on one. It said Lavinia. "The yellow icons show you where your friends are. The blue are Landers and other adventurers and if there were monsters, they were show up red. But right now, looks like we don't need to worry."

Steel could only be deep in thought in response to kitty's next two comments about the system. It's quite strange that there are still updates in this situation as if there are programmers still out there. I'm actually quite concerned if someone out there is watching us but is doing nothing about it. If there is someone, why haven't they done anything about it? Aren't they worried about us? Next would be the issue of why we all started appearing at different times. From what my friends on the Japan server have told me, only the players logged in at the time of the update were trapped inside so its different from here. Shiroe-san also confirmed that there were no new players in the Japan server. I'm going to have to research this myself. His thoughts were broken by kitty telling them to live in this world as if it were the real one. Steel couldn't help but smile a little at that. "I guess you're right, there's no use brooding about it too much. Let's just let life continue on." He said with a smile. At the same time, he was thinking about how he'd research into it at least a little when he had gotten used to this world and leveled up. "If my sister ever gets into this world, she would probably want a sniper rifle or something like that." Steel said remembering his little sister had an account for this game as well and if his guess was right, she could appear at some point. "Knowing her, she'd want a PGM Ultima Ratio Hecate II, an anti-material rifle to boot. That's going to take some research to make. If there is such a mod or programmer out there watching us, they'll definitely be upset about how its range and power would affect the game balance once its made." He said that with a bit of a laugh. It was then kitty sent them both a friend request, saying that she'd be willing to help them or party up with them. Without any hesitation, he pressed the accept button. "I'll believe you on the not dying part, I've seen people come out of the cathedral before. I haven't died myself though thankfully." He then heard German being spoken by Bailin and then he had a look on him as if he felt slight pity for him and kitty because they could not speak his "glorious" German language. Are you trying to show off? We can speak two languages too. And the German language isn't that great you know! Obviously, he didn't say this out loud for he did not want to sound mean. The newcomer assassin began bombarding kitty with questions, the cleric answering them one by one. This guy seems to be the type to never shut up right now. Steel thought to himself. As kitty began explaining the basics, he didn't really listen as he already knew about the basics of the cursors and all that. Bailinkittygreyoddytiudnir

“Well if someone is watching over us I’d rather they didn’t… I mean, if their job was to protect us from harm, they’re doing their job pretty bad. Also, I’d rather have them figure a way out of here rather than the: here have some new toys while we play demi-gods with you. All in all this is FUBAR, but hey, it beats sitting in the real world behind a desk all day. What was it again? We’re going on an adventure?” Bailin spoke rather cynical and speaking softer: “and hope we don’t die along the way.”
“Well, that sounds really interesting, I wasn’t planning on switching outfits just yet, but maybe some camouflaged clothing would be interesting for later, so yes, I’d love to receive his contact information. Though I think I’m special when it comes to armour… but as a mechanic I think I should be able to more or less” Bailin smiled, thinking of the many possibilities with camouflaged clothing and a proper rifle.
“So, it’s not even that worse if you die? Well that takes all the fun off the ‘dying, death’ jokes…, oh well, at least we can learn properly from our mistakes, without it being the dreaded final one.” Bailin spoke thoughtfully, “that’s nice.”
“Maybe we should make a warning label for you Oddy…, we should make it say: ‘Beware, will cannonade you with questions without a proper reason bar curiosity.’ Also: remember to take a breath between your ranting question cannonade. You’re no use to us if you choke during a question round.” Bailin grinned as Oddy finished his flood of questions to Kitty and after Kitty and Steel had spoken their part. For some reason these people were more respectful to each other, even strangers, by not shouting through each other.
“So, in short: even Oddy here can use proper weapons? That’s good to hear; maybe he can make himself useful in the end and not have me run away from boars because someone forgot to pay attention.” Bailin winked after his remark. Making fun of Oddy was always, well, fun, especially when he was present. But the making fun of… ritual was more or less common for them and Bailin expected at least two remarks back at some point.
“I’d gladly accept your friendly offer.” Bailin grinned, “It’s nice to know at least someone who has a rough idea of what’s going on and how not to die. So it works like a contact list on your cell phone and yes I’m a tad old fashioned.” Bailin winked, accepting the ‘add friend’ message.
“Hmm, well now that would save us a lot of trouble next time we’re to dig holes indeed. Would have been useful before we went digging the last hole but then we probably wouldn’t have met you two.” smiled Bailin as he listened to, and mimicked the explanation about the lesson about the map and menu’s. “But why bother reading the guide if we have you? Books are fine but, how do you say…, life experience tends to beat books.”
“Lest I forget: how would one research their desired weapon? That Hecate sounds really cool, but if it’s anti-material, I’d prefer the anti-personnel variant. Something tells me those are less of a nuisance to carry about and have a slightly higher fire rate. Or maybe a bit nostalgic but a Lee-Enfield sniper rifle would suit me best or maybe the Dragunov….. Ah well, like Kitty said, it’ll take a long, long time to figure that out… On another note, how old would your sister be? Judging by her interest in firearms, I would love to chat with her a bit, but if she’s twelve or something… I’d have to mind my manners.” Bailin grinned.
“This might sound a tad rude, but where are we off to next?” Bailin asked pondering about their next move. “We can keep talking here but I think we should get a move on and talk while we are en route.”

Oddy listend to the answers that were given by Kitty regarding his questions and then accepted the friendlist request as it popped up, quickly tapping the accept button with his right index finger. Always nice to have another friend in the game. Thought Oddy before he got a bit closer to listen what Kitty said about the map, looking over her shoulder at her map as she explained. "Ah it would make sense to have different colours for the icons, as to distinguish friends and others from foes" "So, at the moment there are no enemies around 'ere? Right, that seems good to me." Said Oddy, then he turned his gaze at Steel. "Well now, I don't want to be rude but I can't recall your name, could you please tell me your name again so I know who you are? Since you probably did hear me introduce myself." Said Oddy in a friendly manner. While he was waiting on an answer, he stepped back a few steps and went behind Bailin to hit him on the shoulder. "For the fact that I apparently need a label on myself Bail. What was it they said about that cat again? Curiosity killed the cat... that was it right?” Said Oddy while grinning. He then proceeded to open the interface and the inventory before dragging the bow to his left hand. Afterwards it appeared on his back and the Quiver with arrows on his lower back. "Yep exactly as I remember it from other games." I agree with Bailin, what is the next step for us?” WC 264 BailinkittygreySteel

Ame listened to the two go on about a gun named the Hecate, or something rather and she just let them talk. She was a chef by nature and a cleric so guns really weren't up her ally, not even in the real world. She worked part time at a coffee shop and was going to school to become a game designer, though if she was ever put on a first person shooter, she supposed the knowledge would be good. She would listen, and take in any information that they were giving, but she wouldn't speak, not just yet anyways. As they all accepted her friend request though, she would smile and nod to Bailin as he asked if it was just like a cellphone. It was exactly like that, call the player, send them a message and wait for a response. She had done it a few times herself and it always made her laugh when other peoples voices would just randomly chime in her head. As she got lost in thought she jumped back with Bailin's question, and then Oddy's retort. She smiled and nodded. "I suppose we should get a move on. You guys need the levels and we can't just stand around here talking all day, now can we?" She let out a soft giggle and then turned from the men, taking a step forward.
She stopped dead in her tracks after her first step as she met the eyes of a group of enemies. She breathed in deeply as she checked out all of their levels. It was strange that they hadn't shown up on the map, could they have respawned not long after? Though she hadn't seen any other players in the area other than the group in front of her, yet she was staring down an incoming group of rabbits, a buster holding the left flank position of the group. She felt it's sharp eyes staring her down and turned to the group, talking quickly. "Alright guys, looks like the enemy came to us. As far as I can see, there's three level one Frenmic Rabbits, Two level three's and one level 5. Not to mention, there's an Enemic Buster as well. Don't be fooled by it's level. It says 11 but it's a rare so it gains five levels automatically. Think of it as a level sixteen. I'll take the Buster on. Steel, you handle the level 5 and then help Oddy with the level three's. Bailin, You take the level one rabbits." She nodded, and then cast [Reactive Heal] on both Oddy and Steel. "If you get hit, this will heal you right away." She explained to Oddy once the golden glow found itself away around him. "Bailin, yours is still in motion, and Steel, I cast it again on you. Guys, we finish quickly. I'll be watching your backs for healing, so watch each others and don't worry about me." She turned and watched the quickly nearing group coming closer and closer to them. "I hope you guys are ready!"
She ran to the left of the group, where the Enemic Buster had stopped and was eyeing her down. Had it understood her plan? Even still, she gripped onto her staff and ran at it quickly, focusing on it as her [Martyr Spear] charged itself above her head. The large glowing spear would continue to charge until she was about ten feet away from the Buster and it let itself glow bright as it struck the chest of the Buster. While she had the chance, she would cast [Miracle Mine] and a small glowing object would appear in front of her. She quickly took a few steps back, standing out of the range of her mine should the Buster fall for it and step on it while it charged at her. While the motion was still being completed, she looked towards the group to make sure they were all handling themselves. The fight had just begun, but she needed to make sure that they were all in their respective positions. The three needed to watch each others back for the fight to finish without death. Even still, if she caught a death in time, she could resurrect them and with spell walk, it would be completed with ease. Battle and strategy, watch their backs while they watch each others and defeat the Buster, that's what her role in this fight would be. Should they need help afterwards, she would give them her help, but each could seemingly hold their own, well, hopefully Oddy could as well, since she had yet to see him fight.

"Understood." Steel said before charging at the foe he was told to take on. First things first, I have to get its attention. Steel thought to himself as he faced the rabbit. He used the skill Mirage Dealer to slash at it with a X shape, dealing it some damage before teleporting behind it. The bunny quickly turned around to face Steel and attacked him. Steel saw the attack coming and he sidestepped and then used the skill Viper Raise at its side flank. While it was small, Steel was able to accurately hit the monster, dealing it the bleeding debuff. As the bunny turned to face him once more, Steel just had a grin on his face that said. "Bring it on bunny." He then got into a counter stance for dual wielding in kendo. Back in the real world, he was renown for his counterattacks which usually frustrated and/or struck fear in his opponents. Even if this was a virtual body, the feeling one would get looking at him could not be described as anything but killer intent. Steel's face wasn't angry at all but he instead looked extremely calm so it wasn't his facial expression that created this intensity. Instead, it was his several years of experience fighting several opponents in the real world being represented in one unwavering stance, one that looked as if it were designed to cut down one's life in an instant that created the aura of killer intent around him.

“Aye ma’am, going in for the rabbit hunt.” said Bailin as he drew his rapier and charged the three designated rabbits. Well now, this shall be interesting, let’s see if this Trained Eyes thing works well with melee. Bailin thought as he activated his Trained Eyes skill, narrowing his eyes and suddenly felt more focussed, more aware of the rabbit’s movement. It felt as if the world had slowed down by the tiniest of seconds, a feeling similar to extreme focus or adrenaline rushes, though neither was truly the case.
Bailin noticed the small, evil-looking beady eyes of the rabbits, staring at him with evil and fluffy intent, surely they would either bite him to death in that antiquated movie he once saw or kill him with their fluffiness unless he killed them first. The fur of the rabbits was a lightly brown and, more or less staring at them, Bailin noticed the movements of their joints under their skin, or at least, that’s what he thought in half a second’s notice, before he refocused on the slaughter at hand.
Bailin’s first target was the outer most rabbit. Stepping in whilst bringing his rapier to his left side he quickly stepped to the right when the rabbit was getting real close, drawing his rapier along the side of the rabbit, ending the cut in front of his chest, ready to stab the next rabbit, the one in the middle.
Taking half a step forward to close the distance to the rabbit Bailin stabbed the middle rabbit in its side, leaving a little red puncture hole.

Oddy frowned as he saw the group of enemies approaching. Mmh, rabbits...killer rabbits and those are our enemies. Thought Oddy as he heard Kitty issue orders to the party. "Right away Ma'am." Said Oddy as he ran towards a spot where he would be in a position where he could pick off the two level 3 rabbits within range of his bow. Now lets test me longbow baby. Thought Oddy as he casted Arrow Revolver which caused five arrows to exit his Quiver and float next to the bow where they would load themselves when he had fired an arrow. Oddy then proceeded to take the longbow off his back and then grabbed an arrow from the quiver on his lower back with his right hand when he noticed an icon. Ah that is the reactive heal...Better not take damage too early on. Oddy reviewed the battlefield as soon as he was in position then he saw Kitty taking on the level 11 enemy named Enemic Buster and Steel taking on a level 5 Frenmic Rabbit by himself and of course Bailin going in like he always knew him to and taking on as many enemies as possible in this case three level 1 Frenmic Rabbits. Wait no the one that Kitty is attacking is level 16. Reminded Oddy himself. I really need to kill off hose level 3 Frenmic Rabbits fast so we can all eventually assist Kitty. Thought Oddy as he grunted and aimed at the right level 3 Rabbit of the pair. He nocked the arrow and pulled the string back just a bit past his right cheek and then let it go, watching the arrow fly at high speed and hitting the Rabbit. Mmmh, more arrows to fire. Thought Oddy as he watched the next arrow quickly load itself in his bow ready to be fired again in a moments notice. Oddy quickly checked the cooldown on his arrow revolver. "Shite, still got a lot of seconds to go till I can use it again." Muttered Oddy as he saw that the countdown was at 17 seconds. 4 more arrows to fire before I have expended this use of the Arrow Revolver skill. Thought Oddy. WC 369 BailinkittygreySteel

As Ame heard each of her 'students' respond to her plan, she nodded and set out. It would be her first encounter with an Enemic Buster and she wished that she could use Domesticize to capture it and make it one of her pets, but she had filled her animal slots already and had to wait for the third to open, even though Spoticus, her Frenmic Rabbit, was just a pet and not an actual ally she used to fight. She shook her head, letting the thoughts flow from her mind as she focused on the battle. Once she had laid her Mine down and looked to the others, she watched them carefully, while also watching the nearing Buster from her peripherals. So far, it was going well. Steel had the aggro of the level five drawn to him, Oddy was trying out his bow it seemed and Bailin was facing off the three level one's with his rapier. She smiled at their courage, but as she heard her Mine blow, she quickly darted her eyes from them.
She stared down the Buster who had clearly taken the blow and was now frozen in it's state. She quickly ran up to it, held her staff in the air for one second and released it for a critical strike. She quickly jumped back, as the Mine's freezing attack wore off and the Buster gruffed at her in an angry manner. She readied herself and gripped onto her staff. She had read the Bestiary, she knew the rabbits movements and it's skills and she felt in her bones what was to come from it. She narrowed her eyes on the Buster and moved her staff swiftly as it activated it's Wabbit Season attack, a spin attack the turned the Buster into a small tornado and would hit her multiple times on impact, eventually stunning her for two seconds, but she was too smart for that. Instead of getting herself caught it the crossfire of the skill, she stood her ground, swiped her staff from left to right and cast her own skill. Holy Rampage would stop the Buster's attack and send the creature back a few meter's, however, the skill did have a fall back. "I can't heal for ten seconds so be weary!" She called out to the others and quickly averted her eyes from the Buster to them, to make sure no one was hurt. They should be fine though, since they had reactive heal, unless they got hit multiple times in the ten seconds she needed for her skill to exit cooldown and her mana to be once again in balance. "If you need to, fall back for the time being!" She quickly turned her head back to the Buster who was back on it's feet and charging her. She gripped her staff and narrowed her eyes once again on it.

With the aggro shifted towards Steel, the rabbit charged at him with while baring its teeth. Time to show the advantages of using a dual wield style! Steel thought to himself as he swung the sword in his left hand accurately at the rabbit's teeth, blocking the attack before swinging the sword in his right hand downward at the rabbit's mid-body, leaving a deep cut into it and knocking it to the ground. In response, the rabbit jumped back and charged at Steel again. "You're just a one trick bunny you know that?" He said to the monster even if it couldn't understand what he said. He then got into another fighting stance of kendo origin but it seemed that it has been altered and resembled the samurai of Elder Tale. He put his left sword on his left shoulder and he positioned the sword in his right hand at his left hip. That's right, I may be a Swashbuckler but I'm also an Assassin and especially a Samurai at heart. He thought to himself. With a shout and a stamp of the foot, he charged forward. "Kabuto-wari!" He exclaimed as he swung his left handed sword vertically down, hitting the rabbit in the head. "Iaido!" He exclaimed afterwards as he swung the sword in his right hand in an omnidirectional slash to hit the rabbit in the side. From the sudden damage it took, the rabbit was became dazed for a short period of time which was enough for Steel to jump up and spin in the air swinging his swords at the rabbit one more time from above. "Deadly Dance." He said once he landed. The Rabbit had less than one-fourth of its health and it continued to decreased steadily due to the bleeding effect. "Don't worry about me Senpai, I can hold my own. I leveled up during one of the earlier fights anyway."
OOC: Hopefully that many attacks was okay. I was told an attack that was not a skill took one second and I did 5 attacks, 5 seconds. Also, the level up part is from the AP claim being provisionally approved or something like that.
