The cool air brought chills through the day, even though the sun set itself high in the sky. Ame found herself waking with her usual, yawn and stretch routine, as she stumbled out of her bed. She looked to the floor where her pets, Spoticus and Mamori, lay sleeping and she bent down to pat them. It was Spoticus who had awoken and looked up at her with great pleasure. "Gud mornin' miladeh!" Ame smiled down at the creature and picked him up, nuzzling her face against hers. "Good morning, Spoticus. I hope you slept well! I'm going to go for a walk, would you like to stay here, or come with me?" She looked down at her rabbit and waited for his response. "Eh, I'd fanceh a walk in teh town if yah dun't mind. And I had a gud sleep, how bout yerself?" She nodded and sat him down on the bed, equipping her outfit and then picked him back up. "My sleep was good as well. Shall we wake Mamori?" The rabbit shook his head. "Nah, let teh lass sleep/" She smiled and then headed out of the door.
She had decided to head to the Old Parliament Building, as new adventurers seemed to be popping up all over recently and they normally headed there in need of someone who could teach them the ropes. She had been here for a decently long time and knew her way around. She was quite well off in the game, but there was nothing like sharing her know how with others, especially those who had no clue of what they were doing, or how to get started. She stood outside of the building, looking around. There weren't as many people as she thought there would be and each person had their own individual little groups. She shrugged her shoulders and sat in her usual spot just outside of the building on the stone steps there. She held Spoticus in her hands and looked down at him. "We'll rest here for a bit, see if anyone pops up. Are you hungry?" The rabbit looked at her and nodded at her statement then burst out, "I'm starvin'!" Ame let out a soft chuckle and opened her inventory. She click on a piece of bread pudding and ripped it in half. She began to rip one half into pieces and fed it to the small beast. He chewed happily. "Miladeh, yer a grand cook, yah know tat?" She blushed to her rabbit with a smile. "Thank you, Spoticus. I'm glad you enjoy it." She took a bite of the bread pudding and looked around again. The others around the land usually looked at her strange when she spoke to her rabbit, mainly because all they could here was grunts coming from the two, but because of her skill [Tongue of Nature] she could easily toggle and speak between that and English. The rabbit knew some English, but he was still learning and she preferred to teach when both of her pets were there. She continued to wait while she thought and eat, hoping someone would come. Someone was sure to pop up, she was sure of it.

"Well I'm just lost." Steel said to himself in Japanese as he walked around the area. Having been more accustomed to the Japanese server and landscape, moving to the England server just made it harder for Steel to navigate around the place. "On top of that, I'm still a level 1. I'm not going to get too far on my own in a land I don't know very well. Why didn't I just keep using my Tetsu account? Kyousuke also gave me his old Steel account. I just had to make a new character." Although some people nearby could hear him, they wouldn't be able to understand a word he was saying because he was not speaking in English but rather Japanese. I better ask someone for directions. Steel thought to himself before looking for someone by themselves and didn't seem busy. After another minute, he found a girl in front of the Old Parliament Building who just seemed to be talking to her rabbit. Must be one of those monster tamers or something. Steel thought to himself before approaching the girl.
"Sumimasen, anata ga kari ni senshu o kaishi suru tame no yoi eria o shitte imasu ka?" He asked the girl in Japanese. He then caught himself and switched to English. "Sorry about that. I was meaning to ask whether you knew a good area for beginners to hunt."

Ame finished off her bread pudding, and fed the rest of the other half to Spoticus. She looked around again, still seeing no new adventurer's in the area. She didn't know why, but she was in the mood to help someone out and with all of her recent quests coming to and end, she really wanted to pick a few more and perhaps be a mentor for a few of the new arrivals. It had seemed as though new people were arriving everyday as of late and she was really happy to see it. It meant more adventurers were going to get an experience of a lifetime. She remembered back to when she had first arrived. The world was in complete chaos and she had been so afraid of what was going on. She couldn't understand where she was, or how she got here. For some time she kept thinking of things like "when will I get home," 'what's happening with my family" and the big one "what's going to happen to my body?" However, as she lived her life more and more here, she adapted to the idea that this place was her new home and she would live in it as it was her own world and since then, she had become much more adventurous and had many new friends and all she wanted to do was give back what everyone had given her.
She watched as she saw a young, teenaged boy heading to the Parliament building. He had a look on his face that told her that he was lost and instantly she stood. She tilted her head and smiled as the boy spoke in her native tongue to her and Spoticus gave him a strange look, but when he spoke in English, the rabbit turned his head and paid him no more mind for the moment. "Oh! You're Japanese? I am a well! Konnichiwa! Watashi wa KittyGrey desu~ But please, just call me Kitty!" The fox tailed cleric spoke with a bubbly tone and nodded to him. "I do! Do you know how to work the mapping system yet?"" She turned her back and took a few steps to stand beside him and opened her interface. She clicked on the button "Map" and it brought up a massive layout with many different areas that she had been. She clicked on Londinium and it brought her to the town and the surrounding area. "This is how your map will show at first. When you travel to different areas, you'll open up new parts of the map. As for now, the blue icons,"" She pointed to the area that they were in, "are adventurer's. When you are in a party, it shows up as green and then if look on the outskirts of the town, those red dots are the monsters." She looked over to him with a smile after pointing out the red dots. "If you haven't had the chance to battle yet, I could show you how! There's a few different ways you can do it and it's really fun!"

She seems very knowledgeable of the area, I need the help anyway. Steel thought to himself. "I'd like to take you up on that." Steel said in response to Kitty's offer. "Although I'd like to try to see what I could do on my own with my own skills, I'm only a level 1 and I'm going to need help. I'll be in your care then." He then stuck his hand out. "I'm Steel by the way. It's nice to meet you. I hope we'll get along." He then knelt down next to the bunny and spoke to it. "Same to you Usagi-kun."

Ame nodded, understanding what Steel meant as he said that he wanted to go out and do things for himself, but everyone needed some help and she wasn't there to kill his monsters or steal the gold he would gain, but there were things about the combat system that not alot of people knew. For on, they didn't need to use the interface to use their skills. She took his hand and shook it with a smile and eyed him curiously as he bent down to speak to Spoticus. She was a little unsure what the rabbit would do, but luckily for her, he just sat there, looking up, not saying anything. "He doesn't know a lot of English yet. I've been teaching him, but my other pet has caught on much quicker." Spoticus looked up at her in a small glare and she shrugged, bending over to pick him up. "Alright, let's go then shall we?"
Without waiting for an answer, Ame headed towards the town. She would look back to make sure he followed but would essentially just walk. They would walk through the town, a few of the Lander's bowing to her, obviously knowing who she was and she returned their bows, walking on. Soon, they reached the gates leading to the lower leveled area's of the outskirts of London. She waited for him at the gate and stopped before leaving. "Alright, so, I'm going to guess you know nothing about the battle system. You can use it three ways. The first is by opening your interface and choosing the skill. It will immobilize you and move you at will. It's a strange feeling, but that's how most adventurer's begin. The second way is by placing them in what are called hot spots. This way, they'll show up as buttons in the bottom right corner of your screen," as she spoke she would use her finger to box around his head. The screen was what was constantly in their vision where user and monster names, levels and icons would appear. "You just click that button, and you do the skill. Personally, I didn't have a teacher, so I never knew about the third for a while, but, once you've gotten comfortable with using your skills and knowing their names, you can automatically use them by saying, or even thinking it. I'll demonstrate."
She opened her interface and took out her staff. She held it towards Steel and said, "Reactive Heal." He would feel a warmth as her skill activated and there was a soft golden glow that would be cast around him. "This skill means that when you take a hit from an enemy, and only then, you will be healed. As you are level one, your health will automatically be put to full. I'm not going to fight any of the monsters so I'll leave them to you, but as a battle cleric, I know my way around the front lines as well. I'll heal and tell you things about battle, but unless something big comes up and you can't defeat it, I won't jump in." She looked at him and tilted her head with a smile. "Any questions? Are you ready?"

"Don't worry, I'm ready sensei." Steel replied in a slight joking tone towards the teacher attitude Kitty had towards Steel as they left the town and went into the forest. After approximately 5 minutes of walking, a young level 2 boar came across their path. It looked moderately angry for some reason as it looked towards the two. "I guess that's a good a start as any." Steel said as he drew out his two long swords with confidence, his current stance being the product of many years of kendo training. His face showed a sense of calmness which if not told prior, would make others believe otherwise about him being a newbie. With a bit of a grunt, the boar charged at Steel who in turn ran forward as well. When the two looked as if they were about to ram into each other, Steel activated the skill Mirage Dealer, causing him to slash upward in an X shape. Immediately, Steel disappeared before reappearing behind the boar due to the skill's effect. Using that to his advantage, he activated the skill Dart Tack Target which although it didn't do much damage, it kept the boar in disarray long enough for Steel to use one more skill, Viper Raise which had him slash at the boar's weak spots to give it a bleeding effect. Knowing that he couldn't use any other skills at the time, he jumped back and waited for the boar to charge at him. At this time, the boar was really pissed at Steel now. "Looks like I won't be on the good list for these pigs huh?" He said his thoughts out loud. kittygrey OOC: I actually sort of feel bad for slashing up this boar. btw, do you think that's enough to kill a level 2 little boar or should it take some more? Also, was that too much? If asked, I was planning on having Steel say that he learned this from real life experience with sword play.

Ame followed Steel as he went out into the field. Soon, they came across a level two young pitted boar and she nodded with a smile as he said that it was as good as any time to start. She sgreed fully. The boar would allow him fighting experience and AP but wasn't too high as to kill him, not that he would die while she was there anyways. If he was hit, reactive heal would kick in and he would be instantly healed, and she would continue to do so, especially since her ability cost very low mana and she could go on for a while. She waited and watched him attack the boar. She let out a smirk as she watched him use his skill and hit the boar first from the front, and then the back. He used a few more skills and soon the boar was down to about a quarter of it's original health. "Good, a few more hits should do it!" She called out and stood patiently as she watched. He was doing quite well for some one who hadn't been in the game for very long, though she almost wondered if he had any real life experience in combat. Unlike her, some people enjoyed things such as Kendo and swordsmanship and practiced to become master, some even learning other things to help with combat experience.
She was never one for such things, not in the real world, and she had chosen the cleric class thinking that she wouldn't really enjoy combat, but instead of being a support cleric, she chose the role as a combat cleric instead. She had been uneasy about it in the beginning, but as she learned how to assess the battle field and even fought on her own, she knew that she would be helpful in battle. More than that, however, she had enjoyed the thrill of a good fight. The thought, at first, scared her, but as time went on, she had become used to it and had realized that it was apart of her new life now. She couldn't run from a battle, not like in the real world, where she had run from many. She had promised herself that she wouldn't run, so she wouldn't, never again, even if they all managed to make it back. She was set on becoming stronger, both here and there, and she knew if she could make it here, then she could definitely make it there. Now that she had been there for so long, she realized that the two worlds weren't all that different. This one, still, was a fantasy game and unlike the other world you couldn't die, so it caused her to experience more, but now that she knew what her life could really be, she wanted to live it to the fullest. They both had their differences, but how different were they really in terms of making and achieving personal goals and being the best one could be.

"Kay then, let's finish this." Steel said as the boar came to charge at him again. The boar's HP bar was slowly decreasing from the bleeding effect. Steel focused on the boar before charging in. With a shout, he activated the skill Mirage Dealer again and slashed the boar in an X slash before disappearing and reappearing behind the boar in a kendo stance. "Kofuna Shizen Ryu: Samidare!" His body moved automatically, not by the system but by his own memory as he slashed at the boar with his two swords before the boar fell over and dispersed into anima. "Enemy defeated. As I expected, that was easy. Are there any harder monsters around? I won't shoot too high but maybe I'll try fighting a level 3 -5 monster. So, how'd I do?" kittygrey

Ame continued to watch Steel as he took on the monster, defeating it without taking any damage himself. She smirked at the sight, as she remembered her own first time fighting. She had literally almost died by a level one, but her damage was much lower than his, as was her defense. She was a cleric after all, meant to stand back and watch the others fight, watch their footing, and calling out where they should stand, and which moves were best to use and all the while, healing the members of her party. She had started off like that too, but soon, her mind changed and she found herself drawn to battle, drawn to the front lines. She learned to do combat while healing. The people, Lander's and Adventurer's alike called her a battle cleric, since she could fight with intensity, and was as strong as any magic class, but she could concentrate on healing and fighting at the same time. People admired her for it, and she really didn't mind that sort of attention. She was good at what she did and was great at multitasking.
As he spoke, she looked at him with a smile. "You did well, young grasshopper." She giggled softly and then tilted her head as she continued to smile. "You think you're ready to step it up? I would agree with you! The further we head out, the more monsters there will be, and the higher the levels. Normally with the higher levels, there will be groups of lower levels that stick to them. I find with a level 5, there will be atleast two level ones and a level two, but with the level three, there are normally only like two level ones. It's up to you to choose which path you will take. I'll follow and keep watch and if you get over run. We should head more towards the forest for the higher levels though, they seem to surround themselves there." She pointed her finger in the direction of the Windsor Greatwoods, knowing that many stronger monsters would post up there. She would keep him out of the woods right now, as with his mana drain, he should have been feeling a slight bit tired, but with their walk, his mana would be right back up to full, giving him full strength, but even still, the Greatwoods were a little too harsh to begin. With her words, she would begin walking, looking back only to see if he was following.

"Oh very funny." Steel said in response to kitty using the young grasshopper phrase. After hearing the suggestion and possibilities for later fights involving monsters higher in level and quantity, Steel began to feel excited. "All right then, let's do it!" He exclaimed excitedly looking as if he wasn't tired at all regardless of his MP. In the real world he was known for his unrelenting stamina. It seems that in a sense, it carried over to the avatar body which should have been more athletic than a normal human on earth. He then sheathed his two swords on his back and followed after the person who was showing him the way through an unfamiliar area, towards the Windsor Greatwoods. He felt his blood rush in excitement. He always felt that way when he knew he was going to fight a stronger opponent. As he kept up with kitty, he showed no sign of fatigue and seemed to be more energetic when his MP got restored. "I guess for a beginner like me, it's supposed to be hard but if it was too easy, it'd be boring." He said with a grin. kittygreyOOC: Do we have those two come in after the next post or two?

Ame gave a quick smirk in response to Steel's statement of her calling him grasshopper. She recalled the people who had been there to teach her the things she now knew, well, all except for the map, and really, a level one at the time also helped her out with her fighting skills. Speaking of which, she made a mental note to contact the other fox tail cleric soon, as she owed him supper. With her mental note stored, she continued to walk on. She saw a few level one boars in the distance, but passed by them. Should he stop, she would as well, but the level one boar's were pretty much useless at this point and she knew he wanted some higher leveled monsters. Though really, she wouldn't be opposed to stopping and letting have a go. They would only take him two or three hits, or one of his specials that gave multiple hits and would be over in an instant. It wasn't worth stopping, to her, but again, if he chose to do so, she would let him without giving him too much hell. She didn't mind wasting her day on training, but that was just it, it was training him to be able to deal with the larger leveled monsters at a low level. She did wish there were a few more people to help him along with it as she would have to be the one to step in if any other threats opposed him, like a larger group than expected, and because of her level, they would die quickly.
She tilted her head to him as he spoke and shrugged her shoulders. "It really depends on the person. For me, because my hits give less damage and my defenses are also lower than most classes, I had a hard time at first, though I've learned my own fighting style now. I have no experience in fighting in the real world, I'm a bit of a techie, so that was also a draw back, but you seem to have skill in fighting. Did you acquire that from the real world?" She looked to him with a questioning gaze and continued on. Then she added. "I think you can handle it, but I have to warn you, the lower your mana drops, you'll begin to experience different things. For me, my body becomes weak and eventually just gives up." She laughed, but quickly turned her smile into a hard stare. "I literally fall to the ground. Not that I've left that happen since my first day, but I know it would if I'm not careful. For others, they experience it differently. They become slower, get headaches or even pass out. You seem to have a good amount of stamina, probably another perk from the real world, but don't take it lightly. I have some level one mana potions if you begin to feel out of sorts, so just let me know and I would be more than happy to give you some." She smiled again and then looked at her surroundings. "Okay, keep your eyes peeled, we should be getting close." She watched the area, scouting for any possible threats.

Post by Bailin on Oct 24, 2014 9:32:10 GMT
“Anytime right about now would be bloody marvelous mate!” Bailin shouted with his rapier drawn, running away from the level 5 boar. “I know you tend to have something with being the hero and arriving in the nick of time but this is getting really, really ridiculous.” Running further away from the boar. “Yea, that was a brilliant move, digging holes and trying to ambush a boar… too bad the bugger found us before I could finish the first one.” The other part of the plan was to go of the town and, well, camp of sorts. The perks of the Warden-class M.U.T. were the ability to create small defensive positions, given enough time. Now, with just a party of two, that would have been pretty short work, that is… until that boar came about and messed up the first half of the plan.
Bailin had anticipated something would go wrong though a 5th level boar was something he’d rather have avoided for the time being. Worst case scenario he’d die, but if that was the worst than things weren’t that bad… yet. Looking over his shoulder he got a good scare for the boar was gaining terrain on him. “Good thing I started running the second I saw the nasty chap.” He spoke, grinning to himself. Normally, by now, sweat would to start dripping down his beard. On occasion sweat would also drip into his eyes, though with one eye patch, he was spared half of that nuisance. His ponytail on the other hand was slightly annoying. In the real world Bailin didn’t have one because his hair did not allow for that, so when he was given the option, a ponytail looked cool, especially combined with his black coat , trousers and boots. However during a race with an angry boar, it was not that great.
Suddenly, about thirty or so meters away from him, there appeared two capable looking creatures that might not want to kill him on sight. “Oi, you two, would you be so gracious as to rid me of this meddlesome boar?” he shouted out, running towards them, the boar getting closer and closer.
OC: I hope this is allowed/as it should be and such... if not: please tell me what to improve and how ;).

"Yeah, I learned Kendo in the real world. Looks like it'll help in this world too." Steel said in response to kitty's question. "Also, back when I played as an Assassin on the Japan server, a friend of mine who was a Swashbuckler had taught me the movements of the different Swashbuckler and Assassin skill attacks in the real world so it was like going on auto-pilot in a different sense." He said this as he remembered the past. Steel then saw into the distance and saw a guy with a beard running away from a boar. He seemed to be yelling for help which made sense considering he was fleeing from the boar. "I guess we should help him." Steel said before charging at the boar, letting the Warden go behind him as he hit the boar with Dart Tack Target to draw the boar's attention. "Come on look over here!" He shouted at it as it turned to Steel who showed no fear in the face of the enemy. With a shout, he activated the skill Mirage Dealer slashing it with an X attack before seemingly teleporting behind it. Once he was behind it, he used the skill Viper Raise, slashing at it some more and giving it a bleeding effect. "Bring it on pig!" He kept taunting it and lead it away from the newcomer.

Ame smiled to Steel and nodded her head. "I thought so. I suppose it's good to have real life experience. I've played a few MMO's before, but I didn't get nearly as into them as I am now, and this is my first time playing Elder Tale so I wasn't sure what I was getting myself into, though, I don't anyone could have expected this to happen. I don't have any real life experience either, so, I had to start from the bottom and make my way up." She shrugged her shoulders and let out a soft sigh thinking of the time she had spent here so far. She was definitely doing well, more so than most others, some people were just hiding in the first town, opening shops and acting as Landers. 'To each their own I suppose.' There was no way she could ever be apart of that. She enjoyed doing the main quests and even the side quests, and exploring the world. She had joined the guild she was in for a reason, to help out new plays and discover new areas.
Soon, she heard a cry and nodded to Steel as he spoke. "Yes, we should. You lure the monster a bit a ways. Don't go too far though." As she watched Steel run for the boar, she looked over to the bearded man and waved her hands. "Hey there!" She ran towards him and stopped when she was facing him. She noticed his level, another level one and his class. She tilted her head slightly and smiled. "Oh, a warden? Cool!" She knew the class had been brought with the expansion, so, his character was really new. She made note of his name, Bailin, and held out her hand. "I'm KittyGrey, that's Steel." She pointed over to the man who was now facing the boar. "What are you doing all the way out here? This area is dangerous for level ones without some sort of protection." She gripped onto her starter staff and casted [Reactive Heal] on him. A soft golden glow would surround him and he would feel a warmth surround him. "There you go. If you get hit, you'll heal automatically. I'm currently mentoring Stell on the basics of fighting so, if you need any help, you can feel free to stick around and ask questions. Though you are more than welcome to head back to town. It's that way." She would point in the direction of London and then turn her head back to him. "I'm not familiar with the Warden class, but I can show you how to use skills with or without your interface, if you don't know how yet." She smiled to him and waited for his response.

“Well ma’am that’s mighty kind of you, but I’d prefer to help the chap that’s taking care of that meddlesome boar. Steel was his name right? Hope he leaves something for me to do, else it wouldn’t be fair, you lot solving my problem now would it? So let’s finish that afterwards we can have a nice chat.” Bailin spoke rather bluntly to the blonde girl with the not fully water-coloured eyes. “Also, that spell-thingy you cast on me, it’s making me feel warmish, I assume that’s supposed to happen? I’m not suddenly going to explode or something?” he grinned as he turned his attention to the boar. “Mister Steel, if I’m not mistaken, do you fancy a dance with the pig and me?” Bailin shouted grinning towards Steel, the in black clad second half of the saving duo, followed by a basic attack thrust of his rapier, creating a little hole in the side of the boar bit apparently doing not so much.

"I don't prefer to dance, I'd rather just fight the enemy." Steel replied as he used Mirage Dealer again now that the cool down was over. He slashed at the boar again with an X slash before teleporting behind it. Steel had now gotten into a kendo stance with his two swords and charged at it again. At the last second, he jumped and spun in the air creating momentum for his two swords as he struck at the boar. "Assassin's Deadly Dance Swashbuckler version." Steel said remembering that he had been taught by Kyousuke the movements of the Assassin skills which he could then mimic some although he wouldn't be able to use the extra effects.

Ame nodded her head as Bailin spoke, asking if her skill was supposed to produce warmth. She giggled and nodded her head. "I'm a cleric, not a heretic! Of course it just produces warmth, promise you won't explode unexpectedly." She let out another soft giggle and then another nod as he stated that he would like to fight now and talk later. She smirk. "My, my, I've landed myself some invigorating students." She smirked and then shooed him off, but before she could, he was already gone and asking Steel if he wanted to dance with the boar and himself. She stayed back, allowing them the experience but tilted her head. 'What an odd group I've managed to stumble upon.' The thought sent a small chuckle to her throat and she continued to watch the two as they went about their fight, Steel, of course taking the lead.
As she watched them battle, she felt her head tilt and her eyes squinted at the young swashbuckler. She felt a grin take over her face and she let out a another of her soft giggles. A swashbuckler using an assassin's skill? It was a move she had seen quite often, as she had battled with a few assassin so far in her life time here, but never before had she seen a swashbuckler pull it off. She recalled their conversation before meeting Bailin in the midst of running from the level five boar and had remembered that he said that he had been an assassin. So, he could combat as an assassin would, just without the boost of the skill. Soon, she flicked her eyes to Bailin, watching him curiously. This was her chance to learn of the warden class that had been released with the last update and she was filled with anticipation at being able to watch the Warden's moves and play style. It was an interesting thing to see and she oh so loved to learn of the different classes. It wasn't that she regretted choosing the cleric class, no, she loved her class, her skills and all of the benefits that came with being one, including the amount of people it allowed you to meet, but it didn't mean that she couldn't be curious about other classes. She wanted to learn so that she could be a strategist along with her stance as a battle cleric. She normally stood back and watched as the others took on the battle, as she did now, but when it came down to it and she could deal the extra damage, she did so without hesitation. She had learned to pay careful attention to positioning on the battle field to make fights run more smoothly. If she needed to, she would fix the two before her so that they could work well as a team. Both needed the experience, so both should be able to attack without the frustrations of being blocked by the other, like she had done herself upon arriving and facing her first battle.

"Bailin, take the left flank, I'll take the right. Strike at the enemy's side after I get it's attention again. Then you'll be clear to attack." Steel said having decided to lead the battle as the two of them jumped back, creating distance between them and the boar. He also didn't want the two of them to be uncoordinated and mess up or crash into each other. Despite Steel saying he would take the right flank, he ran ahead of Bailin and charged at it from the left flank. He activated the skill Mirage Dealer and slashed at it again before teleporting at it's right side. With a shout, he then used the skill Dart Tack Target to increase aggro towards himself. Thinking it had taken a lot of damage, the boar's attention was completely shifted towards Steel. "Now Bailin!"

Now that’s reassuring. Bailin thought to himself as the last words of KittyGrey echoed through his mind. Hmm, probably the rush of battle that causes that slow processing, in my mind… that and walking away mid- conversation. But at least I’m not going to explode so only that boar can kill me… for now. Snapping out of his thoughts Bailin needed a second to register the moves Steel was making. For a guy who did not want to dance, he was dancing pretty darn well. Bailin stood in awe as he saw Steel making an attack on the boar, disappearing and reappearing behind it, jumping up and starting to spin in the air. Suddenly Steel shouted his name. Take the left flank, sure. He thought, followed by a shouted a “Aye Sir!” and Bailin started moving towards the left flank, only to be surprised by Steel moving along with him, speeding past him, and then suddenly vanishing again. Seconds later Bailin saw Steel reappear on the right side of the boar. Well, that’s a neat trick, though I still prefer to keep my distance. At the shout of “Bailin now!” Bailin put the heel of his right foot close to the inside middle of his left foot, bent his knees and then lunged forward with a nearly straight arm, stabbing the boar in its left flank with the tip of his rapier, accompanied with a smug grin on Bailin’s face. This is dreadfull, I need a better weapon and some neater tricks to be of a greater use in combat. Bailin thought to himself as he withdrew from his stabbing of the boar’s flank and gently retreating, preparing for the next strike or evasive maneuver.

"What's wrong? Is that all you got?" Steel said to Bailin since he just stabbed the boar once. He probably didn't choose too many skills to help him in combat. Steel thought to himself as the boar's attention didn't falter even a little bit away from him. At the moment, all of its hate is directed towards me now. I guess I'll have to be the tank. The boar already began to charge at him again, going as fast as it could. Out of habit, Steel got into a counter style kendo stance, ready for the foe coming at him. Time to make use of the bonus of being a scribe! Steel thought to himself remembering that those of the scribe class could use basic magic energy in their attacks and he decided to make use of that. Right as the boar was about to ram him over, Steel side stepped to the side and with an aggressive shout, he swung downward onto the boar with his sword, covered with faint magic energy cutting through its mid body. When he had cut through half way, he stabbed his sword deeper into the body of the boar. With one more aggressive shout, he slashed horizontally his blade leaving the boar while dealing it more damage. "Bailin, strike at it now, don't worry about aggro, it's completely mad with me." He said to Bailin before jumping back, giving him some distance from the boar.
