All around Londinium, on the walls of the buildings and even on the streets loosely, posters could be found. These posters had, written at the top of them in large words: "A Note to Adventure!" The handwriting was quite nice, and the rest of the poster's text went on to say more. "Those of you trapped in this new world - Yes, I'm talking about you, Adventurer! You reading this sheet right now! Yes, you!! I've noticed that many of you Adventurers are fairly low leveled; I've even seen Adventurers at level one! Oh, don't worry you! You'll be alright! I know many of you are thinking that you've been perpetually trapped inside the world's cruelest vicious circle of 'I'm too weak to go fight, but I can't fight because I'm too weak,' but you see Adventurers, you've all been going about this the wrong way! I've seen many of you going out and fighting alone. Why, I ask you? Why?! The world's a beautiful place, and a new one at that! Let us discover it together! If you would like to join me in an adventure, you can find me at the Cathedral today between noon and eight at night! Come, make friends, and join us for an adventure! At eight PM today we shall all decide upon a destination. Once we have decided, we shall be off after making final preparations here in Londinium. All Adventurers are welcome, and we encourage any and all to show up for the event! I look forward to meeting you all, Adventurers!" At the bottom right corner of each poster was signed, in beautiful cursive handwriting, 'Dumah Iino.'
Meanwhile, at the entrance to the Londinium Cathedral stood the noted Dumah Iino at the grand door leading into the Cathedral. He was smiling, excited, and full of excitement. As players came and went from their deaths and resurrections, he would often mistake them for players hoping to attend the adventure. Even as they declined, he'd still make his offer nonetheless. No matter how long he waited, he had stayed there, awaiting Adventurers hoping to join him for this - hopefully - large expedition. He looked up to the bright noon sky, and spoke to himself softly. "I think today shall be a good day!" He smiled happily at his prediction.

It was now two in the afternoon, and still none had shown up to participate in the adventure. He pondered why, why no one had shown up. He signed sadly... He prayed to the Twelve gods he jokingly worshiped and revered, his gesture aimed to the sky. "Please, oh great and mighty beings of no true nor known nor fantasized names! Answer my requests and bring forth allies and friends to aid me in my adventure!" He repeated this periodically until he got bored, at which point he simply stopped and walked in circles and did other such random tasks to pass the time.

Yawning, Mokusu exited the inn he had stayed in for the past days since the Apocalypse started and decided to wander around the town aimlessly, trying to figured out what to do. After a good 30 minute walk around town, Mokusu stopped and sat down on the edge of the side walk and opened the interface, with a swipe of his hand, to check on his status, hoping that would give him an idea what to do next.
“I guess I could raise my wood crafting,” He stroked on his level one wood crafting stat before clicking it causing a new window to pops up, inside was a description about woods crafter and a few simple work recipes. Before he could check a recipe, a paper flew to his face, causing the interface to close automatically. Letting out a yelp in the confusion and froze causing the paper dropped to his lap, he let out a sigh of relieve before picking up the paper to see what it was.
“A note to adventure…?” Mokusu read out the title. The paper was a request for a party exploration by a Dumah Iino. Looking around, his GUI told him it was just passed noon. “Don’t think it’ll hurt to join,” The Fox Tail said as he picked himself up, “Wood crafting can wait, I guess.” And off he went to find the cathedral.
It took a while to find it as Mokusu had wander into the part of town he did not recognise but with the help of a few Landers and one cute dwarf adventurer; he was able to find his way to the centre of London. From there he has no problem finding the cathedral.
“Hello…?” Mokusu said with caution to the man walking in circles. “I’m guessing you’re Dumah Iino?” The floating box beside Dumah head showing it is him, but for the sake of breaking the ice, Mokusu decided to ask.
“I’m Mokusu, I’m here about this.” Ruffling with his inventory interface, he shows the man the paper request. -------------------------------- 341 | Word Count @dumah | Tags

Dumah had been pacing around in circles when the man approached him regarding the poster he had all around the town. "Hello...?" He said with caution to Dumah, "I'm guessing you're Dumah Iino?"
Dumah looked to the man with a friendly, cordial smile. "Yes, how may I help you, friend?"
The man introduced himself to Dumah. "I'm Mokusu, I'm here about this." He fumbled about with his inventory menus and sub-menus as he retrieved the notice Dumah made for an adventure.
Dumah looked at the paper to confirm what the man's intentions were. "Ah, yes! Yes! Just as the poster states: We are currently gathering others for an adventure! An adventure to where? I don't know. For what? I don't know. But truly, that is often the joy of life: The intrigue and mystery! Tell me about yourself, Mr. Mokusu!" Dumah smiled his usual cordial smile as he asked these questions of the man.

I was walking around town with Kode and Kokkakku looking for something to do. We had walked to the outskirts of town, the town center, and the guild building but we couldn't find anything interesting. After a while I found a note on that ground. The title was "A Note to Adventure!" it seemd interesting so I read the contents then showed it to Kode and Kokkakku suggesting that it would be interesting to do this. We started heading towards the cathedral but we got slightly lost on the way but we easily got back on track. By the time we reached the cathedral it was around 2:20 PM. We hurried as fast as we could but going to fast and taking shortcuts got us lost so it couldn't be helped. As we approached I say a familiar face. It was Mokusu the man I had helped. I waved at him. Beside him was a man I haven't seen before but Kokkakku seemd to know him. once we got the a greeted them and said. "I'm here about this note. I was very intrigued so I decided to come and investigate. I am Crimson Blood but you can just call me Crimson." I bowed in an extravagant way.

I was walking with Crimson and Kode while looking for something to do. We had walked quite a ways and we hadn't found anything. After a while Crimson found a note and quickly read it say that it was "interesting". After he finished reading he handed it to me and Kode. We read it then gave it back. He looked really excited so we decided to go to the cathedral to find the person who made this note. Crimson was in a hurry and took shortcuts so we got lost. We found our again way fairly easily but it still took a while. After we had reached the cathedral I saw two people. One was a man I had never met before but Crimson seemed to know him and he waved. The other person was the first one I had met when I had gotten trapped. His anme was Dumah. I waved at him and he smiled and waved back. After we had gotten closer Crimson introduced himself and gestured for me and Kode to do the same. I took the initiative and introduced myself first. "I'm Kokkakku. And just like he said we came to see what's going on. I am a true parkourist so if you need anything from a high place I'm the one who can get it."

I was walking with Crimson and Kokkakku while they were looking for something to do. I had tagged along only because I usually stay with Crimson. We eventually found a note. Crimson read it while looking excited. I immediately knew we were going somewhere. After he finished reading he passed to me and Kokkakku. We read it quickly and gave it back. Crimson then exclaimed that we were going to "investigate" so we ended up heading for the cathedral. I tried to tell Crimson not to take shortcuts but he didn't listen and we got lost. I knew the area fairly well but it still took some time to get back on track. After we reached the cathedral we saw two people. I didn't know either of them but Crimson seemed to know one and Kokkakku seemed to know the other. They both waved and I just smiled. After we got closer Crimson introduced himself and gestured that Kokkakku and I should do the same. Kokkakku took the initiative and introduced himself first. After he introduced himself I introduced myself. "I am Kode. I am only here because if I wasn't Crimson would be useless. Pleased to make your acquaintance." I gave them my signature smile.

Dumah smiled, noticing three more people coming to presumably join. He recognized Kokkakku and waved. "Hey there, Kokkakku! How have you been? Haven't seen you since the Apocalypse." The two who were unknown to him introduced themselves and Dumah bowed to them. "It is a pleasure to meet you all. As I am sure you have figured out, I am Dumah Iino. I will be hosting this adventure." He followed Kode's example and gave his own signature cordial, friendly smile.

“I’m a summoner…” Mokusu trailed off his introduction as he noticed that Dumah was smiling at something behind him. Looking back himself, he noticed the three companions, one who had which he know as his saviour when he first enter the world, Crimsons Blood. Waving back to the red figured and giving a friendly smile to the other two, Mokusu stand to Dumah side as they approached and introduced themselves one at a time.
“I’m Mokusu,” The Fox Tail bows as he introduced himself to the other two. “A Summoner,” facing back to Dumah, Mokusu continued his introduction. “I don’t really know what I can contribute to this but I will do my best.”
Facing to the three newly arrived, “It is also nice to meet your acquaintances and I hope we will get along well.” Mokusu said with a smile.

Dumah noticed Mokusu's timid personality, and he smiled reassuringly at him. He spoke in a consoling, understanding manner. "You're a Summoner, are you? I'm sure you'll be a valuable asset in our group!" Dumah's expression turned a bit more serious. "Always remember, friend... When a man doubts himself, there are two possibilities: The man will doubt himself and lose his will to make a contribution, thus weakening himself, or he will doubt himself and try to prove his worth to both himself and to others. Please, tell me, Mr. Mokusu, which of these two are you?" Dumah smiled softly, trying to console Mokusu.

To be said he would be an asset to the group is one thing, but what Dumah asked the Fox Tail next has left him confound. Looking at the man in front of him, he started to re-examine is past; confidence is not his best suit, as in all his life he was never prepared for anything as he would often just jump the gun and take that leap of fate but mostly, he would just coward away. However, one thing for sure he often define himself as someone who would never let other falls with him, even to his death, he will try to take the blame with him. An unsung hero, he would often consider himself.
Smiling, “I don’t really know which of those I am truly categorised in,” He started, “I often see both of those in me, but I can’t tell which is more so I’m guessing, we’ll just have to find out.” Satisfied with himself, Mokusu clap his hands together, hoping to change the topic.

"If you're not sure which is more prominent that technically means they're equal therefor you're both! sometimes you're trying to prove yourself sometimes your not, it doesn't really matter as long as you do your best. And Mokusu, if you ever need help like the first time I met you don't hesitate to ask, if I can do anything I will. Now, Let's get this party started!" I say in an excited tone ready to adventure. After that I told Kode and Kokkakku to help out Mokusu if he ever asks with my eyes. I'm not sure if they got the message but they seemed fine with it. After that I smiled at Mokusu and tried to comfort him with my eyes.

Dumah looked to the streets he could see, then around town before answering Mokusu's question regarding their plan. "I think I'm going to wait just a bit longer. I have made a few friends since the Apocalypse, so I'm hoping they'll show up. I haven't seen them in quite some time... Regardless, though, if you'd like, we could still discuss what we would like to do once we do begin the adventure!" Dumah pulled out a map from his bag and unrolled it onto the floor, being that there were no tables nearby. He knelt down to the ground and took a couple of rocks from his bag as well - four to be exact - and he put one on each corner of the map, keeping it from rolling back up. The map was very basic, clearly not made by a professional Scribe, and showed the majority of the Unknown Kingdom. Dumah pointed to a point on the map marked with a calligraphic L. "Here we are, in Londinium. What do you all think we should do?" He looked to the group of those who had joined him to see what they would suggest.

Sitting cross-legged on the floor as Dumah finished unrolling his map, the Fox Tail started to examine it; as he trying to get a good view on their exact location and their surroundings as this is the first time Mokusu had seen a map. It has never occurred to him to get a map for himself, knowing fully well how he can get lost so easily. The Fox Tail made a mental note to get a map for himself as Dumah asked the group on where they should go. Caressing one of the stone that Dumah had put at the edges of the map, Mokusu stare on the L mark that Dumah was pointing at. “Well…” Mokusu started, “We could try the Windsor Greatwood?” He let his hand wander on the map, leaving the stone, pointing at the valley west of Londinium. “I’ve been there a few times, but never really explored it, just the outskirts.” Mokusu look at Dumah before examining everyone status in the group. “With our levels, I think we can handle it there,” Taking into consideration of Dumah high level, the Fox Tail examines the map again knowing fully well that the farther they process into any RPG game, the monster’s level would also increase “And maybe, if we are up for it, we should try to reach Sarum Frontier?” The Fox Tail said pointing further southwest of the L mark. ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- 235 | Word Count

Dumah pondered this suggestion. "Yes, that may work... An adventure from Londinium to the Windsor Greatwood. Should be fairly low leveled, I'm sure we could survive." Dumah smiled excitedly as he nodded in excitement for the planned adventure. "Perhaps we should wait until a Guardian joins? We could use a Tank." Dumah scanned over the party that had come together, examining them all, thinking to himself that if they couldn't get a Tank, surely enough, their excess of DPS should at least compensate for their lack in defense.

Post by Myrddin on Nov 8, 2014 19:11:38 GMT
It had been a bit since the Catastrophe occurred, which either trapped everyone in a game or somehow fused the game world and the real world together. Most felt this was a horrible turn of events. Dion Tavarie aka Myrddin, as he is called in the world of Elder Tale, found this to be a blessing of sorts. It had been years since he had been able to walk and being trapped in Elder Tale gave him back his freedom. He almost wished he had chosen a different class so he could be more combat efficient and actually use his legs like he would want to. However, he chose this class to bring a new challenge to his plate and he would conquer it.
The fear of death in this world was shattered when someone that died was revived at the Cathedral. According to the tutorial that was normal so everyone's spirits did a one-eighty and soon everyone began going out into the wilds. Unfortunately not too many people wanted a party with an inexperienced Enchanter and those that didn't mind were quickly annoyed by the lack of skill Myrddin had at this game. Especially since using the skill menu was all but impossible during battle. Myrddin and the party he was with died soon after they ventured into the wilds. Embarrassed and unreasonably annoyed with himself Myrddin left the group.
Now here he was, his eyes focused on a piece of parchment. As he read he felt his drive to improve flare at the thought of an accepting and understanding party.
I look forward to meeting you all, Adventurers!"
When he was done reading the message he noticed a name, well written with fine penmanship. "Dumah Iino." He said to himself as he folded and tucked the sheet away in his inventory. "Well then, Autobots, transform and roll out." Myrddin looked up and noticed he had a few sets of eyes on him with a couple smirks. "Right, inner monologue...that needs work."
It didn't take the enchanter long to find the Cathedral, the map he had made things simpler. Though it seemed most of the group had already been formed. The party looked to be conversing over something. What's the allowable party size in this game again? Myrddin wondered, a smidge of worry began to form in his stomach at the thought of rejection. "Nope. Nope. Nuh-huh. Stop that." He hissed quietly to himself as he approached, and shook off the fear.
With a swipe of his hand Myrddin brought up his menu and looked over the names and health gauges of the group. Dumah, Crimson, Kokkakku, Kode and Mokusu. Full health, duh. At least this is the group. He thought with a mental sigh of relief. Once he was a couple meters away he stopped. "Excuse, do you have room for one more?" Myrddin asked, his left hand's fingers rythmically drummed a beat from the Clash's "Should I stay or should I go".

Shortly after the Enchanter Myrddin approached the party in the hopes of joining them on their adventure, a small young girl ran up to them as well, holding a large stick that would require both hands to use effectively, in her left hand. She bypassed the majority of the party, and with a cherubic smile, she dashed over to Dumah. "Excuse me, mister," the young girl began excitedly, "I saw your papers around the town, and I wanted to join you!" She smiled excitedly as she awaited Dumah's response. Before he could begin to answer, she turned around at all the people. "Oh wow, so many people," she noted. She glanced at Dumah over her shoulder with her big childish smile. "You have a lot of friends, mister!" She kicked her leg out a bit and swung her entire body around to face Dumah. "So can I join, mister? Please?!" Her eyes sparkled with a certain determination as she awaited his response.

As the party was discussing their plan, a dark skinned man with tattoos walked up to them. "Excuse me, do you have room for one more?" His fingers drummed a rhythmic beat. Dumah began to open his mouth and speak. "Yeah, we-" However, before he could finish his sentence, he was interrupted by a young girl who ran up to them. She was full of excitement and cherubic energy.
"Excuse me, mister," the young girl began excitedly, "I saw your papers around the town, and I wanted to join you!" She smiled excitedly as she awaited Dumah's response. He opened his mouth, getting little more than a breath in before the young girl turned around to the crowd of the Adventurers hoping to join Dumah on an adventure.
Dumah smiled in response to the little girl, and thinking that it would be rude to open the menu and dig around for the information himself without her consent, he began to ask the girl a series of questions. "What level are you?"
The girl stood straight as if she was some powerful archmage. "Level one, mister!"
Dumah continued his interrogation. "What is your class? What is your name? What is your dream?"
The young girl answered all of these questions in order with a clear determination and excitement in her voice. "Sorcerer! Alette Caelius! I want to become a powerful Adventurer, and help all kinds of people!"
Dumah smiled, very satisfied with Alette's answers to his questions. "Alright, Alette, welcome to our party!"
Alette smiled widely, her mouth open, a small excited sound coming out of her mouth. She began jumping up and down extremely excited, chanting "Yay! Yay! Thank you! Thank you!"
Dumah sent Alette an invite to his party, and she promptly joined. She then bowed deeply, holding her staff - if it can even be called that - in both hands. "Thank you, mister!"
Dumah smiled, Alette's childish behavior seemed very refreshing to him. After this, he turned to the man who came before her and asked him the same questions. "What level are you, friend?" They were all the same questions he had asked Alette just moments ago. "What is your class? What is your name? What is your dream?"

A red blur zoomed down streets like a tornado that wasn't stopping for even the devil or god. Verin was high on the sense of adventure that couldn't be quenched, now he was looking for a group of people to join him in a party and now he was riding his skateboard, looking for possible teammates. He really didn't have to look for a long time though, he quickly found a group of adventures together that looked ready for battle and that meant they were a party. The group consisted of a gentlemanly like black haired man, a beefy orange fox tail, a man with silver hair and had silver hair, a blue haired man that looked like a high schooler, another gentlemanly like brown haired man with glasses on, a black man that looked like he was a surfer or from an American hood, and finally a little brown haired loli. Suddenly he flipped his board to stop most of the motion and then skidded to a complete stop, picking up the skateboard he put it in his bag and then went over towards the party. Looking over them closely enough, he noticed they were all low level, like Verin himself. To Verin this was a good thing, it meant that he might just have potential founding guild members right here. Finally in front of the party he decided to speak, " Hello I can see that you're a party and I was hoping I could join you, my name is Verin." Dumah's string of questions was interrupted by another man walking towards them. "Hello! I can see that you're a party and I was hoping I could join you. My name is Verin." The man at least seemed cordial enough, and Dumah respected this. He turned to Verin as he approached the party.
"Hello there, Verin. Pleasure to meet you. Mind if I ask a few questions first so I can get a feel for you?" He spared no time, and offered his hand to shake as he asked his questions. "What is your level? What is your class? What is your dream?" These were the exact same questions he'd asked Alette and Myrddin only moments ago, and he decided they were good questions to remember for the future.
