"I wonder where should I hunt today." Steel thought to himself as he walked around the woods. He had gotten used to the situation he and the other players were in extremely quickly, already trying to hunt on the first day. As usual, he looked around the hunting grounds looking for monsters. It was then he heard a sound from the bushes behind him. With a jump, he turned around and had a hand on one of his swords in the case that this was a monster. He continued to look at the bush cautiously until out from it came a girl who looked extremely lost. She had a katana in one hand and a grimoire in the other. Looking at her player profile, he then jumped back after seeing that she was of the Heretic class one usually know for how crazy they are in some way. "Who are you?" He asked cautiously. He wasn't one to just dismiss a person or shun them on general basis but you can't be too careful. Верный

People got a lot more boring after the apocalypse and everything in the game became the real world. Верный puffed out her cheeks as she walked through Greatwoods by herself. For starters everyone seemed to give her a lot more space, almost like they were avoiding her for some reason even before she did anything strange. Making a soft sigh she pulled out her grimoire and opened the pages to begin looking through it for something to do, most of its contents were highly faded spell diagrams that were barely legible with only three of them near the front actually readable and with a faint glow, the three spells she currently had access to at her level. Clapping her hands to her cheeks, the grimoire in her hand smacking her in the face causing her to make soft “oof” noise, she made her deeper into the woods. Drawing her katana in her other hand in case any monsters nearby went hostile Верный failed to notice a small rocking jutting up in path causing her to trip into a large push along her path. Slowly getting back on her feet with a noise of “wafu~” the girl noticed another player staring at her with their sword raised, and her own still gripped in her hand. “Oh, I’m sowwy very muchu. My name is Верный and is vewy nice to meet you desu” She said with bad English in a bit of Russian accent and taking a polite bow and unequipping her weapons. “My class is Heretic, and I like fun!” She went on after standing up, her hands clasped behind her back as she smiled. Russian? But she had a bit of a Japanese in her words too. Steel thought to himself as he looked at the little girl. Well, she doesn't seem to be a threat at least. He then took his hand off his sword and decided to start the impression anew and introduce himself. "My name is Steel, I'm a Swashbuckler. It's nice to meet you uh... Do you have any easier name for me to call you?" He asked a bit nervously as he's not very good at pronouncing Russian. I guess she's like me a little, a newcomer to a somewhat foreign land. He thought to himself remembering how he was also from another country seemingly like her. OOC: the way you did it sounded more like Japanese, especially the desu. remember we are in England Верный

Blinking a little as the man looked her over before he introduced himself Верный nodded her head when he spoke. “Yees it’s good to meet you Steel . I guess you can call me…hmm” her voice trailing off as she tried to think of her name could be translated. “It can be pronounced like ver-nie.” Looking at her name a moment longer before responding again, “Bep is fine too, yes?” Nodding her head a little in affirmation. “So you out to kill monsters? I’m out trying to find somving fun, but everybody has been avoiding me lately.” Her cheerful tone dropping off near the end. "You are not one who hates class are you?" She asked quizzically tilting her to the side and placing a hand on cap to keep it from sliding off. (OOC Yeah spelling out accents is a little hard and I actually had her regular character voice going through my head which threw me off too. She’s also really bad at English remember as well.) Steel

"I don't really have any hatred towards a person just because of their class don't worry." Steel replied feeling bad a little for the girl. "I can't that I'm not cautious either but you seem like a nice kid. Bep, how about this, we party up and have some fun fighting some monsters?" He suggested as he helped put the cap back straight. "Just don't use any skills that would cause corruption on me okay?" He added that last part a bit nervously. Верный

Vernie’s face lit up in response to Steel’s answer to her question. Nodding her head quickly her chipper tone return with. “I’m glad, yes party would be fun. Kill mosters, make friends.” Her eyes followed him as he adjusted her cap for her. “Not sure what you mean by ‘corruption’. Do you not want me to help you then? Let you do fighting alone?” She asked trying understand what the man wanted. He said he wanted her help and then mentioned something ‘corrupting’ him. Making a small fist pump she decided. “Won’t help fight, will help in other ways instead? Okay vess?” Not giving much time for response Bep started confidently walking through the forest again, turn her eyes to the left and right every so often to try to find a monster to fight. Steel

Geez, what is she a little kid? Steel thought to himself seeing her energetic attitude as he followed after her. "It's not that I don't want you to fight, it's just that you shouldn't use that miasma stuff the Heretic Class has on me. It will cause the person to get corruption and make them go crazy." He explained what he meant as simply as possible. He then saw a level 2 boar. "Hey Bep, how about we fight that monster for a start? It should be pretty easy." He said to the girl next to him as the boar in question began to take notice of them. Верный

Looking back over shoulder at Steel, Vernie listened carefully to what the man was saying. Nodding her response, “Alright, I got it, I’ll do my best to make you not go crazy.” She said with wink before taking her book and katana out. “Yeah let’s start with this boar here. He’s alone so it’ll be easy.” Opening her book in one hand and looking over the available spells she frowned briefly a moment before putting the katana away. “I don’t have anything for this boar yet. “Swashbucker a melee class, ves? I’ll bring his attention over here for you. Don’t worry about taking damage either, you’ll be just fine.” Smiling she muttered a quick few words to cause small spell effect to shoot at the boar in front of them. It wasn’t enough to really do a lot of damage but it did get the boar’s attention to come at the two adventurers to start attacking. Steel

"Mirage Dealer!" Steel shouted as he slashed at the boar with an X slash before teleporting behind the boar. When he got behind it, he prepared another skill. "Viper Raise!" He shouted before slashing at the boar, causing it to start bleeding. It's health bar began to drop gradually. "Your turn Bep!" He shouted to the Russian girl as the boar was turning towards him. He was giving her an opening to attack. Верный

Vernie cheered on the new swashbuckler companion as he started the attack on their first enemy of this walk. She was going to be content with just staying back here in a support role, even if that was boring and nothing to do, she was slightly surprised then when Steel had paused his assault to tell her to go ahead. “You sure, but you don’t require help though?” She commented while drawing her sword again. It was true really, the girl didn’t really have anything that would help much in this situation, at least until damage started being returned on them. “I know! How bout I fight monster and you back me up?” The Russian girl replied with a smile as she held her sword in front of and quickly slid in position in front of steel. Sliding her dominant leg behind her Vernie made a swift slash from her left leg to her right shoulder. As part of the same motion she brought the blade back down in vertical slash down the middle of her target before finally coming back to a neutral position. Steel

"A battle's only fun when everyone actively participates you know." Steel said with enthusiasm as he got into a kendo stance. "Kofuna Shizen Ryu: Samidare!" With a shout, he slashed at the boar with his two sword using a sword technique from the real world. "You're not that bad Bep, but you need to work on your stance and stability when swinging a sword." He said as advice remembering the Russian girl's sword attack. "It's HP is almost at zero, finish it!" Верный

Nodding her head once with a serious look on her face Vernie tried focusing to match her stance with what her companion head been doing. With the slight differences from one using two swords while the other only had one. Stepping forward the girl slashed downwards again and then forwards for a slash and thrust. With only a brief pause she shifted her weight again and brought her sword back up to slice diagonally through the boar as she brought it back out. As the boar shattered into bright pixels and coins Vernie slashed the air at her side before sliding it back in its sheath on her back. “That was fun, thanks for help!” She exclaimed happily as she already began walking down the path again. Geez, she really is a kid. Steel thought to himself with a bit of a smile as he followed after the girl that just went on her own. "You're really energetic you know that?" He said when he caught up to her. "It's dangerous to just go off on your own like that. I know you're excited but what would happen if you got attacked by a higher level monster while you were all alone like that?" He was lightly scolding her as he had done with his little sister in the real world before the apocalypse happened. He then wondered what happened to her and whether she was caught up in the Apocalypse as well. She had her own account but he didn't know if she was logged in at the time. Верный

At the comment of how much energy she had Vernie softly giggled slightly placing a hand in front of her mouth. “Really? Is that bad, I have always been like this I like seeing and doing as many things as I can.” With a smile her pace quickened a bit while her hands folded behind her, she never had put that much thought into being energetic she just always sort of did stuff. “Don’t worry, class very good at fighting alone. Can hold off many enemies by myself.” She admitted proudly, while a lot of enemies might be a bit of an exaggeration the girl could be able to hold her own in a fight pretty well if she was ever caught out in the open. “You should let me use spells on you sometimes, they help you and won’t hurt. Make you fight better, less worry about problems.“ Vernie said, a serious look appearing on her face as she continued to walk ahead. Steel

"Well, I didn't say it was bad. Sometimes it's good to have so much energy." Steel said in response as he scanned the area for any monsters. He then heard her offer to use spells on him to help him. At this, he became somewhat cautious and decided to figure out what she could do. "Hey Bep, what sort of spells can you use first of all and what do they do? I want to know what will happen if you use these spells." He asked the Russian girl wondering which of her abilities would inflict corruption or other effects. "If you can't remember, just look at your skill list. You should be able to find it there. I think there's a show mode for the screen so others can see it." Верный

Vernie paused for a short time as she tried to think of an answer to Steel’s question. What do her skills do? Well for starters they’re used for healing mostly, the third is almost completely useless and not used for much. “From what I can tell two of them used for healing and fighting longer. Third one a secret, won’t tell.” She said smiling and giving a little wink at the last part. “None cause corruption, only cause help and fun.” Going again her list of skills again she came across the ones for other class as well and made a small smile. “You like animals, Steel? I can tame a cute monster for a pet if we find one.” Vernie exclaimed happily as her pace quickened in front again. Since she had the skill for it the girl had to wonder if this Elder Tale, no this new world actually had dogs or some other canine that she could domesticate with this skill and have a companion travel with her all the time. A heretic healing skill huh? It's gotta be that one that gives the target corruption and if you don't keep using it, it'll get rid of the HP restored. Steel thought to himself remembering the skills he researched of the various classes. "Um, Bep? Could you not use the healing skill on me? Go ahead and use the other two though." He requested with a slightly nervous tone. He then heard her talk about taming animals. "Yeah, I like animals. I think there are a ton of animals out there to tame. I think I saw a dog and a rabbit being tamed. If you like cute animals like that, I'm sure you can find one." Верный

Vernie was a little surprised at the man’s odd request, to her the skill in question seemed innocent enough and even resembled the healing spells she had seen other clerics using. Maybe it was because you lost those health points after a time of not being healed by it was all she could think of. “aight, got it. No using that that skill on you.” She said still nodding happily with hardly a change in her pace. As for a pet anything would work really but she was particularly hoping for a dog or other canine monster in this world, and with her subclass hopefully tame it for more than a few minutes at her current level. She's that dense about the miasma? Geez, it's looks like she's going to need a babysitter or something to keep a watch on her. Steel thought to himself as he continued on walking with the girl. Due to his instincts formed from training in the real world caused him to notice a small creature come out from under the bush. It was a rabbit. It didn't seem to want to attack them as part of its nature. "Hey Bep, it may not be a dog but why don't you start taming this creature as practice?" OOC: There's no dog on the monster list but I think we can suggest it to the admins but for now, let's go with this Верный

With eyes following where her partner was pointing Vernie took notice of the small rabbit that had appeared from some bushes. She didn’t mind that it wasn’t a canine type as her level wouldn’t have allowed her to keep it for very long anyway even if they did find one. Taking a moment to unequip her weapons back in her inventory the girl began to slowly approach the timid creature. Moving to her hands and knees as got closer she froze for a moment to hold her position while smiling at the rabbit. Not wanting to scare it off and also allow it to get used to her presense a bit more as a non-threat before she started getting closer again. Slowly reaching a hand towards the front of the rabbit’s face and held it there while the creature smelled her hand before going back to nibbling grasses. Taking it as a good sign Vernie gently ran her other hand along the rabbit’s back while having the first in front of creature’s face. With a careful gentle motion the girl picked the rabbit up and set it in her lap before turning to look up at her companion. “See, mission accomplished.” She spoke softly, with a beam while gently stroking the animal in her lap.
