Londinium was most definitely a place that rained paper down onto the streets in the middle of the night, so when sheets of paper started falling like snow Verin grabbed the nearest one almost immediately. Glancing over the sheet he quickly read it and then looked up at the source of falling paper to see a shadowy figure that turned around and disappeared. Intrigued by the shadowy being's intentions Verin read the sheet in depth this time and to his excitement he saw that it was a flyer to join a new guild that was forming. Verin and the boy who had become somewhat of a little brother to him, Vitae, had been looking for a newly forming guild to join and this was it. Verin quickly ran to his small humble abode that he called his house and woke up the sleeping Vitae, who could get rather grumpy when awoken by anything other than himself, and told him the news. Vitae's upset face quickly processed this and brightened up. After getting properly ready Verin and Vitae rode Vitae's horse, Fallax, to the Parliament Building where they quickly walked to the room designated belonging to the new guild. After giving a quick knock on the door Verin walked in and looked around for who could be the leader. Well if you used Verin's logic it was rather obvious who it was, it's whoever sits in the biggest chair and that was the man who was talking to the two women. " Um excuse me but the two of us here would like to join." Pointing at himself then Vitae he stated their names and waited for a response. [277] Saber

Verin bowed humbly when Verin stated his name, but gave no greeting because Verin had already done that for him, besides he was tired because Verin woke Vitae up when he was sleeping soundly. Suddenly being woken up and then told about this new guild caused Vitae to use the charging energy he had from sleeping deplete to around three percent. Then having to do more work by summoning and then riding Fallax to the Parliament Building, which he had never done before, depleted him more. Scanning the people in the room was all he could really do right now, so he did. He started with the man who was most likely Saber, dressed in scale armor that was obviously high level work he gave off the presence of what could be called a workaholic. Next he was a red/pinkish haired girl that was dressed in starter leather while holding herself as if she was an Assassin. Then there was small elf girl who was obviously a bard, which could be told be her flute, who was in starter cloth. The next person which caught his eye was a blue haired boy, who looked like Vitae's favorite basketball player, who looked to be part of one of the mage classes while dressed in cloth. Then there was a Fox Tail that was also a mage class dressed in cloth, but on a side note Vitae did like this person's smooth looking silver hair. Then there was the player that probably took after one of the characters from one of Vitae's favorite video games, this character was obviously either a Guardian or a Samurai, but was dressed in starter equipment. The last person that caught Vitae's eye was perhaps the second strongest in the room, a Fox Tail of the healer classes that looked well trained and fit to fight by herself. Scanning these people one last time he concluded that he power rankings went like this, Saber got first, then Fox Tail healer, then Verin, then it was a squabble between the rest of the others including Vitae himself. The red/pink-haired female had a strange feeling that she made the girl uncomfortable, which in turn made her feel bad. There was a slight silence afterwards, one that seemed to make her feel a little uneasy. After a few moments, she cleared her throat a little. “Its fine,” Sorano mumbled, responding to the blonde’s apology. Folding her arms over her chest, she listened to the male explaining the overall goal of the guild, as well as a few additional guidelines that weren’t noted on the fliers. When he handed her the papers, she moved one of her hands to take it, glancing over the top page fairly quickly, intending in reading it in full after a few moments. After listening to the rest of the male’s explanation, she then resumed reading over the papers, making sure that she read everything in full, even if she had to go over what was written a few times. What was written on the page contained a little bit of information that was placed on the fliers, yet it was mostly other information that wasn’t revealed on the previously mentioned fliers. “Questions… No, I don’t think I have any, nothing that really comes to mind…” Flicking over to read the contract, she was silent once again, carefully reading over it- of course, with it being a fairly simple contract, it didn’t take her very long to read over it. As she read, she wondered if the other had some questions, perhaps she might think of something to ask as well, yet unlikely, since she didn’t have any questions in mind to ask at the moment, it would probably stay that way. UNKNOWN SONGS THAT TRAVELERS SING THEY SOUND FAMILIAR TO ME | It seemed that Arrasi wasn't the only one who was uncomfortable. She noticed that Sorano kept her distance at the other side of the room, and her reply to the apology was quite soft. Had she interrupted something important? Were they discussing other things before she had barged in? No, that was something she didn't need to think about. On the other hand, something was definitely up with the guild leader. It didn't take a genius to see how stiff he had gotten after she had started talking. That didn't seem very “leader-like” in Arrasi's opinion – she had expected someone more like one of the business professors she had had in school: smiling, relaxed (but not too much), and prepared for anything. This guy seemed painfully shy, to say the least. It wasn't enough to make Arrasi want to leave, though. She had already come this far, so there's was no point in turning back and causing further embarrassment for everybody involved.
As soon as Saber took position in the center of the room, Arrasi's opinion began to rapidly change. Now he seemed more in control of the situation; this was more like the guild leader she had expected. Arrasi took the papers from Saber and immediately began to skim them over. It all seemed pretty straightforward – sign the dotted line and you're in. No special requirements, just a guild to keep people together and reach towards the goals that were now much more clearly stated for her. As she was reading, she slowed down a little more when she got to the section on the Expansion Division. The other two sections weren't too interesting to her, but something like Expansion sounded like it would suit her skills well: running back and forth between players was excellent practice for her Courier class, and it would also provide a fantastic opportunity to build up her Scribe class with all the cartography that would need to get done. It seemed more and more like she had made the right choice to search out a new guild today.
Arrasi had only been half-listening to Saber's words, but she definitely picked up the part about his tolerance of mistakes. Now that was something she hadn't heard very often. Lots of guilds expected excellence from their members (at least, in her experience they had), but Saber appeared to understand that not everybody was capable of such a thing. Nobody deserved to be punished for that, and it was kind of him to make that abundantly clear from the start. Arrasi had been playing MMOs long before she had stumbled into Elder Tale, so she doubted her potential for screwing up would be high (beyond all the silly mistakes she had made so far, anyway), but somehow it was reassuring to her to know that she wouldn't be put down for any future problems she might have.
As soon as he finished speaking, Arrasi tried to think of any questions she might have. Everything seemed pretty cut-and-dry – she'd have members to associate with, missions to go on, goals to reach for, and a place....a place to stay? Arrasi looked around the room and noticed a few doors along with all the other furniture in the room. She had heard that guilds had living quarters for their members, but she wasn't sure exactly where they would be in this guild hall. If this place had some, it certainly would beat spending some gold every night to sleep in a whatever inn she ended up at, especially since there was no way she could afford a decent living space this early on in her time experience in Elder Tale.
“I hope this doesn't sound odd or anything,” Arrasi started to ask, “but do we stay here once we join? I mean....stay as in live here, with beds or whatever. I've never done the whole guild thing before, so I was just wondering.”
