The distant dull roar of the Avon Waterfall rang through the sparly planted trees along the river banks, the slow running water revealed the small schools fish as they swam back and forth the sandy river bottom as they looked for anything in which they could eat. Resting on the edge of the river bank Vixi clutched her knees with her toes digging into the soft sands letting the grainy particles dig into her pale skin. After warding away from the city Vixi had found herself to the banks of the Avon river but somewhere along the way she had gotten turned around and now found herself in a somewhat awkward situation, needless to say she was lost. Vixi often thought she had a good sense of direction but it seemed like the world was proving her other wise today, she had only meant to explore a little bit into the surrounding woods but once she spotted the river she couldn't help but venture out further, just another few feet she kept telling herself, each time she made it a few more feet out something else would peak her curiosity to venture further into the woods. Coming upon the river Vixi couldn't help but want to explore it, not knowing just what it was that she might find. It seemed that the only thing that she did find in her journey was the discovery of being lost.
A heavy sigh broke through the chirping birds and the occasional splashes from the schools of fish, with no clear idea of where to head too Vixi had decided it was best to rest for awhile, after all it had been at least half a day of search about for some sign of civilization with no luck. Her feet where tired and the idea of taking a good long nap was indeed something she would like but the wilds of this world where about as safe as the ones they had left back home. Glancing up at the darkening sky she could make out the first stars that out shined the rest, gleaming in the dying light of the sun, it would be dark in a few hours. Holding her hand up and away from her face Vixi placed it right below where the sun was; back home she had learned a trick to measure the time till the sun set and it appeared as thought there was about two hours of day light left. Even if she the exact direction in which the city was she could never back it back before the sun dropped and the even the roads where not safe during those times.
"A fire would be nice right about now...." She thought, only if the young girl knew enough about surviving in nature she might have been able to make one but her skills in survival were what might call lacking.

The thing about being lost is that you have to agree to yourself that you are indeed so. Once you have embraced that idea, there is no need to fear since there are always ways out of being lost. And Nisha for one had accepted the fact pretty well. Actually she was sure to get lost wherever she went and that was why she had always enough food and supplies on her to run around for days on end until she found something, sleeping on trees helped as well, since they usually gave you a good view of everything around you and were a good way to travel if it was a forest. Thinking as such, she had to agree once again that she was quite hopelessly lost, shrugged, clicked on her menu and took out the lowest durability food item she had, slowly nomming it while she walked down the river she had found... Or up, she never really understood how that worked and since she had not yet had a clue about it, maps were pretty useless to her as well, though she had found that even just having one was soothing. The mini map that the game had provided was practically useless now as well, only showing the player herself. Not even the direction they were going, just that red arrow thingy. Humming, her tails, six still were playing around like children with no care, hunting each other. It looked pretty harmless, but it was quite the tall order to focus on these weird new appendages like this. After all, they did have feeling in them, even quite some, but at the beginning they were just reacting when she had some kind of emotion, only due to her training was she able to actually move them like this now. If it was like this for other tailed people, she did not really know, but she did not feel like asking as well and just do her thing with them, well that and brush the tails whenever she could. Her ears, also changed to be above her head, which had led to dizzy spells in the beginning had become used to it and were now able to accurately hear things even quite some distance away. And so they did this time as well, they were twitching as they heard an unfamiliar sound of someone talking to themself. Stopping dead in her tracks, she unfocused a little and saw a small ball sitting at the river side. Tilting her head a little and grinning, Nisha began to sneak and hum, in her head only, the metal gear theme as she approached the ears of the other person and grinned mischievously, hoping she was not heard, before saying out aloud: "Boo." And jumping on the other girl with a loud laugh, the best thing that could happen to someone lost was find someone else lost, that always opened up adventures to the nth degree. Well, that was if it worked, if it did not, she would most likely fall into the river, but a swim would do her good to wake up a little and maybe get her stuff together to even try and find the way back, having become used to being solo so much she did not even mind wandering the woods all alone, or did she? "Well...two hours of light left...should I even bother trying to make my way back now? Are would it be safer to just remain here...maybe still in a tree till the sun comes back up?" Vixi wondered as her hand dropped from her leg and on the gritty sand, drawing small images in the sand she found that it helped to distract her while she she thought up the best plan while she still had light to guide her movements. Unlike back home once the sun set beyond the horizon the land seemed to become a new world, more and strange monster came out from the shadows. embracing the new found darkness and without any light source such as a torch or night vision; while Vixi thought her night vision better than that compared to others even in the pitch blackness of night fall she would feel blind. The only hope she really had at this point would be if the moon was going to be out in full tonight, the size and glow of the shining white sphere would be more than enough to let her see out some ways.
Another heavy sigh left from Vixi's mouth at the thought of being stuck out here all night but compared to other things that could happen or go wrong she was living the life; back home people would pay thousands of dollars to enjoy a sight like she was seeing, a long calm running river in the middle of no where. While she felt a little of edge with her level being so low the area was tranquil to her mind, if it wasn't for the chances of a creature coming about to rend her flesh she might have considered this a vacation...thought a vacation from what would be the real question. Other than exploring the many lands that the new world had to offer Vixi often let the world guide what she did any day of the week, there was never a schedule in her life, most would find it enjoyable to not have any responsibility, free will to the extreme use of the word, but she often felt bored with nothing of worth to do in her life.
Vixi hadn't even be paying attention to her surroundings at this point in time, her thoughts stuck in a maze of ideas and times long since past. While her mind was else where her body kept ever alert of monsters and other that might be creeping in on her, even when her ears began to twitch warning of a new sound in the area Vixi was so focused on inner thought she paid no attention to the sign that herself was telling her.
Springing up from be hide Vixi the strange woman pounced towards the distracted girl it wasn't until her hands wrapped around Vixi's waist that she took notice of anything, and her reaction was one that showed it.
"Ah!" Vixi screamed, her voice nearly breaking the sound barrier as she lept from her spot on the beach falling forward in the water following up with a large splash that sent cold water flying in multiple directions.
Though her mind was filled with fear her lungs where not filled with air any longer as she had wasted all in her futile scream, having no way to breath under water she had to quickly resurface otherwise suffer a slow death of drowning. Breaking the surface of the water in a explosive force Vixi was quick to climb up onto the sandy shore, coughing up water in large heaps.
"What was that?" She thought to herself, opening her eyes too see that woman that stood nearby on the bank.

"AHAHAHAHAHA" Nisha laughed so hard that it hurt as she came up from below the surface. It had worked perfectly and the face the other girl had made had been priceless to see. She had not thought that this would work so well, but in the end it did and now they were both in the river and Nisha felt the wetness cling to her already, but it did not matter much since such a meeting could only be a nice little coincidence that would bring about something interesting. But really, Nisha had kind of expected the girl to notice her before she could do anything, thinking she would make a sound on the sand, but apparently the other girl had been in too deep a thought to notice much and now that Nisha thought about it for a moment had looked quite occupied with being lonely. Sitting there all alone and drawing stuff in the sand, curled up in a ball and all that. Well, good thing Nisha had rescued her from that then, even though that scream of hers had been quite exquisite as well, still ringing slightly in her ears as Nisha shook her head a little to get the water out. Slowly stopping herself from laughing, drawing deep breaths to get air back into her lungs, she got it down to a chuckle before she moved over to the shore. Slowly standing up and walking over to the girl who still seemed in shock, saying in between chuckles and taking breaths: "Sorry about that, but you looked like you could use a wake up hug. My name is Nisha and I take it you are lost as well?" Nisha asked before shaking herself and flopping out her tails, making water spray in an arch, but trying to keep it away from the girl. The wetness was still sticking to her anyway though and so she was already looking around to see if there was a good place to start a bonfire, deciding that wherever seemed to be okay, since the beach was flat and did not seem to be all too dangerous they could stay here and camp the night out. Monsters aside from water monsters usually only frequented rivers such as this in day light so water was a good place to be if monsters came around. Even more so since it gave a pretty good escape plan. Waiting for the girl to say anything and still having some chest ache from all the laughing, Nisha wondered as well how many sticks she had in her inventory that were not already broken and gone from her inventory, the durability stat was sometimes a bitch and getting new wood at the moment seemed like a pain, but then again, the forest was just over the ridge and since no one had been here before or it seemed like it at least there should be enough to go around. "Well, sorry about the clothes too, did not think you would fall into the river with me. But really, your face was priceless. So, what were you doing around here anyway?" Scratching her left ear, she grinned at the girl now and wondered if she would be mad, but then again, Nisha did not linger on such things too much and would just accept it and then move on to something more important, getting out of these wet clothes and starting a fire, not necessarily in that order. With her tails still flopping about, she shook her head as well and once more was glad that she had short hair, with her real life hair this would be a royal pain in the ass and she did not envy the girl for it either as she felt slightly better already. Before Vixi had found herself growing cold in the ever enroaching darkness with the falling sun but now the chills that ran down her body were more present than they had been before. Flopping out of the water like a fish her clothes clung to her cool body like glue, making suction sounds with every small moment she made. At this point the front part of her body was coated in a fine layer of sand, from parts of her cheeks all the way down to the frill of her skirt, had one just come across her they might have thought she had just taken a nap on a beach and awoken just as the tide had come across her.
Vixi's mood had no been the greatest to being with and with the woman now laughing at her she could feel her facing growing hot with anger, she imagined she been steaming with just how soaked she was. While Vixi seemed angered by the little prank that had just been pulled the woman seemed to be thoroughly enjoying herself at Vixi's expensive even if they had both gotten drenched. Taking a deep breath Vixi slowly tried to regain her composer, she hated when ever she got this way, angered at someone for such a little reasons... she needed to find her center and focus on it. It took a few moments but she could feel herself regaining herself once again, breathing coming back down to it normal levels she pushed her long wet hair from her face as she flopped over and resumed sitting on the sandy ground.
While Vixi kept to herself as the woman continued her laughter all she could do was sit and wait as her humorous giggles rang out over the calm waters of the river. Slowly but surely her wailing laughter died down replacing it with a happy tone in her voice, at least someone at taken something enjoyable out of all this and it sure wasn't Vixi. Wrapping her fingers around the end of her long hair strands Vixi began to twist and pull letting the water flow from her soaked hair as the woman began to speak to her for once instead of just laughing at her.
"As if I really needed a hug...." Vixi thought scornfully at her words...but could she really be at angered at someone for just being who they were?
"Nisha....Nisha....." Vixi repeated in a hush voice under her breath, just barely loud enough so that Nisha could hear her words. It was often something Vixi did whenever she met someone new, repeating their name over a few times too lock it in her mind, though most she came across she never saw again, whether it was they needed to part ways or Vixi found herself not comfortable in their company.
Sighing at Nisha's words Vixi began to wonder just what it was that she was indeed doing out here, it had all started with her simply searching the forest near the city and then... here she was. She didn't think there was really a reason for why is was at the river banks, it had just been where life had taken her and who was she to argue with the universe around her.
"It's...it's fine...." She shivered slightly her eyes wandering too that of the fallen star, the rim of the bright yellowish ball was already touching the top of the tree line.
"Little less than two hours... a fire would be lovely about now...." Her thoughts wandered for a few seconds about the warmth and joy that a simple flame could bring out here in the middle of the wilderness.
"As for why I'm here... I do not know... I guess, thinks happened, and now I'm here...." Her words came out in heavy sighs with every pause she made, she knew her response sounded odd, maybe even stupid but there was truth in her words.
Flicking a few strands of hair from her face Vixi pushed them over her ear keeping them in place for a few seconds till they fell back into place once again, always an issue she had with her long hair, unless it was held up with a band it always got in her face, though she thought it helped sometimes to have something to block her vision and from others seeing her face.
"...What about you? You're the first person I've seen...in a while... with no roads in these parts it hard to come across others."

Shivering slightly as well, Nisha decided a fire was a definite priority for now, though she did listen quite intently to what the girl was saying. What disturbed her a little was that she was repeating Nisha´s name, only twice, but it seemed like a weird thing and the one thing Nisha took the most awareness out of. It sounded nearly as if she was trying to get familiar with the name, but then again, who could really blame anyone in a game where people had all kinds of name. Foreign, fantastical or numerical. And even in such a game, names were quite good to memorize even if you might only meet someone once, well, that was as long as you did not have someone in your friends list or, like Nisha, turned about all ui off and had to ask for anyone´s name and stuff. Sure, sometimes it was inconvenient, but it just broke immersion if she saw floaty names over everyone´s head. But, yeah, fire, emptying out her inventory, branches over branches appeared in Nisha´s hands that she stacked carefully and expertly into a bonfire that deserved the name, putting several branches beside her for later, first it was important to get this thing going. She did not have big tools or something, but she was quite proficient with this kind of stuff, at least since she had started to camp out in the woods and stuff in this game. At first it had been quite a sight to see and took her hours, but now she just made some hand movement and a small bunch of dry grass she was carrying around as well. Putting it in between the smaller sticks of wood, she let the flame lick on them and blew on it. Slowly but surely it was taking over and a nice warm light spread from it. "Well, that´s that..." Nisha said and stood up, pulling her jacket and shirt off, dropping her skirt into the sand and sat back down in her underwear, wringing out and shaking the sand off the clothes she had taken off. Dripping them away from the fire and hanging them on a stick each, not worried about being in her black underwear, fitting to her clothes. "Want some branches too? Just stick them somewhere close to the fire and they will dry sooner than if you wear them, no need to get sick, right? Also no need to be shy, we are most likely so lost no one will see us anyway." Nisha grinned a little and sneezed. The impact of it shaking her and her tails shivered and sprayed water away from them both. Why she was here, huh? Too many reasons came to mind she could give and too little that would do to tell the girl. "Well, I get lost professionally you could say." Chuckling, she wondered what kind of a face the other girl would make at that statement and then added: "Well, not really, it´s just that I have an awful sense of direction and have come to not mind being lost anymore since you usually meet good people along the way or find interesting things. The weirdest thing I encountered so far was a talking tree, not the enemy or npc sort, but a tree growing so that if the wind rushed through it, it would excaim: 'You are lost'. Weird, right?" Laughing a little and holding her palms toward the fire, which could be called as such by now, she felt the warmth it was slowly spreading and tugged the branches her clothes were draped on a bit closer to the fire, not close enough to start a fire, but good enough to dry them semi fast. "So, I think I did not get your name yet if I may ask for it." Nisha said and tilted her head a little, smiling genuinely at the other girl. Nisha hoped she had at least somewhat dragged the other girl out of her deeper and despairing thoughts, well, that was if she had such. But then again, seeing someone huddled in the sand alone, being lost and drawing pictures by themself in the sand... pretty big indicators that someone was depressed or sad... hopefully not bored, someone being bored with this game was just wasting time after all. There was too much to do and too little time until someone found out how to get out of here. Every moment was precious and every meeting even more and if the girl would speak up, Nisha had the feeling they could have fun together, if she was not already having some in a weird brooding way. Her smile brightened a little at that thought and her tails wagged slightly in anticipation. Nisha was easily excitable and liked meeting new people after all. Arms wrapped firmly around her shoulder Vixi sat in the cooling sand, the bitter cold drops of water fleeing from her warm skin, running down the small goose bumps that were forming over her pale skin. Even growing up in the colder northern lands of Europe she never did find herself accustomed to the changing of the seasons, though it always seemed to be on the cooler side in Ireland. She much preferred the warmer seasons of summer, even taking the slow warmth that followed after the chills of winter left her embrace, letting the warm winds of summer take her over. Needless to say Winter and all its glories weren't something she was very well fond of. Oh only if she had some a nice fuzzy blanket...hot chocolate.... The thoughts of times past warmed her heart slightly till the reality of where she was came back to her with the sound of wood clashing against one another, spinning her head about to face Nisha she saw the small stock pile of sticks that now lay scattered on the sandy ground.
"Fire?" Vixi muttered to herself, in a voice that on might think came from a mouse, barely making any sound as it passed from her lips.
With that one word Vixi kept her mouth shut as she watched Nisha in marvel as she went about crafting the fire, while Vixi had spent a great deal of time outside; here and back home, she had never crafted a flame from nothing but wood and grasses. Using her hands as a pivot she slowly turned in the sand, leaving a trail in the soft surface as she went till Vixi was facing the craftswoman at her finest. It had become harder and harder for the girl to define what, or who she was at this point, she felt as though a part of herself had changed with coming to this world... she was still here but...a part of Fox Tail people had entered her body. Before she ventured...or more of was forced here her curiosity was no more than that of another, but now it seemed as though she needed to know the answers to everything, to watch, to feel, to take apart and be apart of. It was an odd sensation but one that had slowly becoming harder to control, like that of a fly drawn to a light, no matter how harder she fought she always came back to the source of curiosity.
With the licks of flames coming to life in this world they quickly began to eat at anything that it could take power from, the sticks being the closet thing nearby was the first to be attack, like a shark attacking its prey the small fire pit was soon enveloped in the flickering red flames. With the shadows growing longer and longer with every passing minute the comforting fire was a warming sight to her, the darkness that had been encroaching towards them was fleeing away in terror, their lands had been taken from them, only waiting a few feet away till the flames would die and they could retake their lands once again.
As Nisha spoke it snapped Vixi out of a trance that she had been set into, not even noticing till now that her mouth had been held open as she watching the flames come to life. Embarrassed but her display she was quickly to withdraw her jaw forcing her mouth closed once more, less she looked like a dim witted fool, weakness wasn't something she should show to other, even if she knew the woman's name there was no way of knowing her back ground. Trust was a matter of grave security to the young girl, hard to accept others and even harder to her to express her thoughts.
Turning her blue eyes towards Nisha they grew wide with shock as the woman was quickly stripping herself of all clothes but her under garments. Facing burning brighter like that of the fire Vixi's head moved at neck breaking speeds, facing her eyes towards the ground.
"What is she doing?" Her mental voice seemed to shake as the words formed.
Explaining about drying her clothes off to Vixi it seemed to make prefect sense, with her mind going into over drive at the sight of Nisha almost stark naked it had shook up her brain something fierce.
"I'm... fine." Vixi shook her head with the lie, she was cold from the dying light and the soaked clothes but she wasn't about to undress herself in front of another.
As the conversation headed back towards her original question she realized that Nisha seemed to be the in same metaphorical boat as she was, lost without much of a reason or cause. Going on to explain about a talking tree she found it odd that such a thing could, or would exist...but in this world things...creatures...and even trees seemed to surpass what had come to be excepted of reality.
"Talking, tree...?" Her voice left her mouth with a question at its tail, while Nisha thought such an idea was humorous Vixi was more curious than anything else.
"My...my name...." She pondered the question as too why she was asking, surely she could see it above her head, the green floating text that told everyone else about another. Though maybe she had turned it off, Vixi had done the same long ago when she came into this world, in some ways it was still a game but to her it was real life.
Still sitting a few yards away from the fire her eyes reflected the bright flames of the fire, anything to keep her attention from Nisha's barley clothed body. Vixi wasn't sure if she wanted the woman to know her name, she was never sure of just who she was dealing with, who they really were, words could be twisted and turned into lies with a simple bend of the tongue. She hated the mistrust she carried for everyone but...it had become second nature to her at this point. If she refused telling her name she could just pop open her HUD and look at it... she could lie... but then she would be no better than those she mistrusted.
"...I... my name... Vixi...." Her voice came out in a low coo as her head tilted back down till her legs bent up to meet it. Curled into a ball she sat there nearby the firing taking in the soft sounds of nature as the world passed by around the two of them. The crackles of the fire, the cool winds as they broke through the tree tops and the nearby echo of the falls. Shivers ran down her body as she tried to retain the small amount of heat she kept in her chest, though wearing the soggy clothes wasn't helping much.

Hrmm, there was a weird interest vixi had shown in Nisha when she had started the fire, even going as far as shuffling her position. As if to show her better Nisha had went a bit slower than usual as she had moved her hands, knowing that even at this speed it would work. Even more so since she had gotten weirdly strong and agile since she had fused with her avatar. But, well, this was quite something, the girl who was now sitting a bit away from the fire seemed a bit weirdly silent. Maybe it was something that Nisha had said or done? Or maybe the girl was just shy? Hmm, both were quite possible and yet something Nisha did not think of as a disadvantage to have, Nisha was too open sometimes and some shame would do her good, but then again, she was who she was. But she also cared about other people, as long as there were not too many of them she could even try and keep up with what they were doing, but any more and it fell apart, but for now, it was pretty easy to see what was the utmost thing that could disturb the other foxgirl. Clothes, huh? Well, that was not that much of a challenge, she could either equip her armor or... Well, this piece would definitely be more fun. Grinning a little, she poked the air and suddenly instead of being in her underwear she was donning a maid uniform, lacy and frilly but very much clothable. They were also quite dry, which was a small bonus, although Nisha felt a bit bad about leaving the fox girl without clothes. "Uhmm... Sorry about that and the other stuff once again, I don´t really have other dry clothes, though if you want you can wear these for a while?" Nisha said more jokingly than meaning it really, smiling wryly at the situation. "Nice to meet you Vixi, come closer to the fire, I don´t bite, I usually only nibble." Chuckling now and wondering if this had been good enough to bridge the weirdness, she glanced out onto the water wondering how long they would still have natural light, the darkness was closing in fast and swallowed up the surroundings of them, but at the same time created noise as the night active monster and animals sprang to live, the fire the only source of light and warmth around, spreading both in a small circle. A lonely one in a sea of darkness, but tonight for once it might be that Nisha would not be alone. Which was quite nice now that she thought about it. And for that occasion she would not even climb up a tree to sleep for the night. A little change in what she usually did was indeed quite curious and yet also quite welcome. "Yes, a talking tree can you believe it? I was perplexed the second I heard it, even so much that I wondered what I was supposed to do since you see..." Nisha threw a stick of wood on the fire, a few sparks flying up and wondered if vixi would come closer again just as she had when Nisha had created fire. "There was NO ONE there, only me in this deep forest somewhere around london and then you suddenly hear human words. Freaked me out to no small amount I can tell ya. Ran straight up a tree." Nisha laughed and it seemed for a moment to here as if the light was getting a bit warmer as she did, although it did not really matter if it was due to her feeling a bit less lonely than usual or if the fire started heating up. Nisha was definitely not used to this situation, even more so with someone who might be shy or scared, although she would not fault the girl for it. After all, there were enough weird people around that a bit of caution was always good to have, cling to your suspicion as her father used to tell her. Although it had gotten much less after she had gotten over the bullying problem she had faced as a child. Ah, well, her younger sisters and older brothers had usually had problems as well and her parents were quite busy too, so she had slowly gotten out of the hole and opened up and now so many years later here she was looking at this girl... just a bit as if she was her old self. Still she did not know how to handle it, but at least this time she could try other things since this time she was the one on the outside. "Ah, it must have been a sight if anyone had seen it. Took me half an hour to stop shivering and figure out it had been the tree. Must have shrieked at least as loud as you." There was no meanness in her voice as she said so and she tried to sound as warm as she could saying it, but in the end it was just a grab for straws to maybe get vixi a bit closer to the fire and in a matter of speaking, so she could open up or at least drop some of her guard. Maybe one of these days Nisha would not jump people like this and actually just greet them. Not that it would ever happen but as a suggestion to herself when she saw someone like this girl or even vixi herself again. Who knew it could even lead to a more interesting situation than the one they were in now. Still chuckling a little, Nisha leaned back and put her hands into the sand to support her weight from falling back, her hair was still quite wet and she would hate to have sand in it and just thinking about having to wash and brush and take care of her tails after this was enough to tire Nisha out a little. "Oh, the first star." Nisha said and pointed up with one hand, feeling the coarseness of the sand on her palm as she did and moved it toward the light she had seen, the moon just a bit away from it but barely spending light in it´s waning time. Seems like her blanket for the night would be stars and the night once again. While Vixi had been staring at Nisha as she brought the fire to life she hadn't taken much notice of her slowing movement even though it was for Vixi's own interest in the crafting process. She always held a deep insight for things she never fully understood, even making a fire from noting but bits of dead grass and dry wood was enough to peak her curiosity though she still head her distance, only silently watching from a far. Though with all the time she had spent in the grand outdoors she had picked up many skills (most through trail and error) she had never managed to start a fire on her own...at least not with the same speed and grace that Nisha seemed to pour into her handy work...Vixi wondered if one day she might be able to do the same... or at least refine her outdoors men ship too a small degree. Stroking the small ember as they tore away at the dried sticks she turned her glances onto Vixi as she sat dripping wet and shivering in the last beams of light that broke through the thick leaves nearby.
"...is there something wrong?" The thought bounced around in her head as she looked over the woman, as a humorous look papered over Nisha's face Vixi wasn't sure she was going to like what she was about to do next...after all... she was put one step from being fully nude... dear lord....
Much to Vixi's surprise and relief things went much better than what she thought was going to happen, in a shimmer of light Nisha reappeared before Vixi but instead her outfit was much... less releaving, though she imagined that any nerd sitting behind a computer screen would be in heaven at the site of her in a maid outfit. For the setting that the to of them where in anyone would consider her well over dress, but if she was wearing that...out here, then it must have been all she had too cloth herself, less soaking rags where a new fashion statement. Frilly and clean it beat the hell out of the drying clothes...though still better than what she was wearing before...or lack of wearing. Feeling a sense of normality coming back to her Vixi's shoulder muscles relax a great deal, up too this point she hadn't realized just how stressed out she really was; letting a small sigh out between her lips she wrapped her tail around her waist to try and storage whatever heat that remained in her body with her.
At Nisha's question her face felt as though it had been plugged straight in to fire its self, burning with the strength of a thousands suns all bursting into a super nova at once. If she could only view herself from far away she was sure that her reddened face could be seen in the dimming light of the day. Vixi knew from the playful tone in Nisha's voice that she was joking with her but the idea was still more than she was able to bare.
"No-no....I'm- I'm good...." Her voice came out trembling, it took all of her concentration not to pass out from her lack of blood to the rest of her body, with all of it appearing to be in her face at the moment.
Taking a few deep breaths Vixi slowly regained herself once more, not knowing just how long she would be able to survive around this woman. First the lack of clothes...and now this! There was no anger in her thoughts, just pure embarrassment at such an idea was more than enough to set her mind a buzz.
Following up her offer with another question about joining her at the fire side Vixi had to think it over... while she was cold, and wet to the bone...she still wasn't sure about it... if she stayed like this she would surely freeze to death, or worse. While dying in this world wasn't a terrible loss to herself, a slow and painful death was. Nodding slowly Vixi pushed herself on to her knees and crawled over the fires side, making sure to place herself on the other side of the flames. Vixi appreciated the offer that Nisha had given her greatly but at the same time she still knew so little of the woman... distance would still be best at this point. Plopping down in the warm bask of the flames she gave off a quite sigh of joy as the cold left from her, though her clothes were still smearing in the cooling water she was sure they would dry off soon enough.
Whipping off as much of the sand as she could from the front of her dress Vixi listened to Nisha as she spoke, though interacting with others was often a difficult if not annoying thing she loved to her a good tale of those that traveled, they always brought interesting stories to share with them... though to loosen their tongues a drink was often the first thing one needed. Going on with her tale Vixi chose to ignore Nisha's comment about her shrieking when she was tackled into the waters edge...another embarrassing moment she would best try and forget, just like so many others.... Taking the few moments as Nisha spoke Vixi made quick work unlacing her long boots, unlike most shoes people wore her constant wanders often led her to strange and very rough terrain areas, good shoes made for good hikes and these were so well tied on not even a tornado could rip them off from her feet. Letting her feet take in the warm heat of the fire she placed her boots off to one side, they would take some tie to dry and she wasn't exactly sure if she could get trench foot in this world... not that she wanted to find out.
It was Nisha's voice that broke over the sounds of the fire, the first star of the night... Vixi always loved to watch the glittering starts as they loomed lazily over the sky, as if the stars were watching her, just as she was watching them. Something about stars always felt so romantic too her, as if distance lovers, never to meet but only could watch one another, it was a sad thought, but still a beautiful one. Turning her head towards the darkening sky she followed Nisha's extended finger and found the lone star, though it wasn't the biggest speck of light she had seen before it was always the brightest. The north star, as least in this world, it was always a way she could find herself back anywhere... at least if the wild monsters didn't stop her from moving about.
"Lovely...isn't it?" Her quite voice broke out into the night as it was swallowing up the lands, the only rays of light that where left could been seen illuminating the high clouds, leaving them with a grand sunset that could be seen from miles away.

Ah, this girl was really just too adorable for words, even making Nisha feel a slight blush as she reacted so serious to Nisha´s half joke invitation to wear her clothes. Ah, this girl was really too much. And also quite fun to tease and play with, maybe she shoudl take it to the next level and crawl over and... Ah, but then again it was such a tranquil sight as they both looked up, or at least Nisha acted as if she did, to watch the stars and see them slowly light upin the sky as the atmosphere became clear enough to let starlight pass so they could see million of years old light shine all the way here. Or at least that woudl be the case if this was a real world, but as it was, it was a game most likely and so they were just lights programmed to turn on after a certain while. And yet... As Nisha looked up she felt the solace of the stars welling up inside of her as well, slightly shivering from the coldness of the light and yet feeling the warmth of the fire pulsating into her system and speeding up her blood. Feeling it wash through her system as she slowly really began to feel normal again, wondering why it took so long and if winter was really coming, faster than before and all of a sudden, as it stood, Nisha would not think it weird when she saw some ice in the puddles they had created after getting out of the water. Although it was most likely a bit too pessimistic a thought, it was indeed cold, but not close enough to freezing that it could really turn into a winter night. Not that it was not close to winter anyway, but then Nisha would feel it more into her bones, cold had never been something she had been good at handling and since it was a preferrence it was most likely transferred into the game. Most likely, even though Nisha had begun to wonder if her body was adapting to the situation or if her being, her own self was slowly corrupted to become Nisha not only in body but in mind as well. A weird thought and a somewhat terrifying thought, but since she could do nothing against it she would have to live with it. At least until they got out of here, whenever that was. Smiling back at the girl after taking in some more of the sky, she wondered what tale to tell now and how to maybe draw some more words out of the other foxtail. She was just too quiet, even though Nisha already appreciated that she had at least sat down close to the fire now, the last Nisha wanted was for someone to die on her if she did not even mean it. Any other way was kind of alright, but dying due to something she had done to someone she did not want to die... Not really what Nisha had in mind for a relaxing afternoon if she could help it. But yeah, now there was the question which story to tell and where to start. Hmm... maybe: "Yes, quite lovely, stars always fascinated me, I can sleep best when I am up in some tree or clock tower and as close to the stars as I can. I don´t know why but it always calms me and it feels just... right. As if something inside of me likes it up there, in the real world I never felt much about heights in general, just the usual thoughts but here it feels like I am close to something I need. I don´t know if that sounds weird but it is how it is. Ah, actually it must be pretty weird." Sighing and grinning resignedly, she moved her tails a little, smaller droplets than before jumping around and quite fewer in number, but the main enemy was the sand which was slowly drying on her tails. Ah, it was a hassle and yet something she would never let anyone else do. Opening up her menu again she pulled out a wooden brush with tiny steel teeth. It was perfect for her tail because the small tooth never reached far enough to damage the deeper parts and yet they brushed out all the dirt and other filth that may get into it without prejudice. Nisha had tried other brushes as well, but they were either too soft or too hard. Taking the first tail into her hand, she felt the humidity and slowly began to brush it, hoping the drops of water would get brushed out as well. As she did the first brush stroke, a barely audible noise came from her that sounded like a light moan. The sound you made after a long day of work or after your workout when you pulled off you shoes or finally relaxed, that satisfied audio that told of bliss. "So, where was I? Oh, right the talking tree, haha, that was quite something. Do you want to hear another story? I have quite some stored up, or do you have some to tell as well, just listening to mine must get boring, right, Vixi?" Nisha put a bit of pronounciation on the last part, the name of the girl so she could make it a bit easier to reach her, Nisha had really no bad intentions... Okay, no malicious intentions at least for the girl and the casual teasing she might do was quite sparse since both of them were in no real position to enjoy it and Nisha did not want to scare this rare and shy animal off with some bigger scheme, although it would be pretty easy, after all, they were the only ones around and if Nisha´s sense of lost was right they were right in the middle of nowhere and nowhere near anything that had people residing in it. And weirdly enough that sense was far more honed than her sense of direction, which was practically non existant. Looking up once again she looked at the moon which was hanging overhead and stared down at them with most of it´s face already gone. "Maybe I should come back here when it´s warmer, just need a swimsuit." Nisha said as if she had just thought of it, but it was how she was truely feeling, this place was so far from anything else she could have fun playing around in the water undisturbed and then camp outside. If she ever found this spot again. Too bad she did not bring any map or something to mark this spot with an X but maybe if she got really lost again in the summer she would indeed find her way here again. Adding another brush to her tail, she felt it stick for a moment to a knot of hair and then pulled free as it took quite some sand with it. Wriggling the brush that was now full of sand until it was somewhat clean again, she lowered her view and watched the fire and vixi again, wondering if Vixi had some blankets or something with her or even food for that matter. All of which were in Nisha´s pro lost pack but who knew if she had packed the same way as Nisha? Words: 1235 Tags: vixiWeapon: Nishan(Scar) Armor: Nishanat (Daybreak) Accessoires: Nishani (Keepsake)

Vixi saw beauty in the sky, the stars in all their passion, lust, nature truly was something that could only be saw in its true state with ones own eyes but now a days she saw something new there, the twinkle in her eyes still held the old traits of longing but now there was curiosity, not for the sake of science, or advancement for humanity as a whole but more than just that. For a long time since she entered this world she thought of what it really was, could there be more than what everyone knew. Some saw it as a game, others... this was their new life now, like her, she was one of the latter; since the game Vixi came here she did not think of this world as an imprisonment but a place for a fresh start, a world where no one knew of others past expect through tales of older days. She had always wondered... if this was just a game there would be limits, ways to break the coding...in a similar term hacking or at least breaking the world as they knew it. In simple ways something like Pi or a infinite loop would send a computer haywire but it seemed like those didn't work...at least someone must have tired. If not that, then maybe the boundaries of the world could be tested... it wasn't as though one person that got stuck here wasn't smart enough to traverse into the sky; that was the real barrier.
Looking up at the lone star all these thoughts passed inside her head, while the beauty was still there it had become encumbered with thoughts of days that had come and still those too. There was still too much she still did not understand, she wished to know the answers...but what caused this drive in her. Even before she came here her only drive seemed to be the will of moving up in world, good education, good job, and one day she could move away and make a life of her own, but here things were different. When she first entered this world she was only met with despair, there was no lust for advancing her own self, even leveling wasn't something she felt fond over. There were days at a time that all she would do was watch, wait and listen, taking in just not the world but those that traveled down its many paths. It wasn't until much later that she found herself wandering to places that she would have never thought of doing so before... something inside her pulled her coaxed her into wanting to know. Vixi often blamed it on her racial choice, foxes where known to be curious in nature, it seemed like part of her... and... the Fox Tail where fusing more and more with each passing day. Often she would have thoughts that she wasn't sure they were hers anymore, odd things... but they felt...right? Maybe she was over thinking it all...though...it wasn't a game to her anymore, this was life to her and many others...so she might not have been that far off.
Having been so caught up in her thoughts she had almost forgotten about Nisha causing her too jump slightly with her voice, taking only but a few seconds to remember what was going on she was quick to relax once again. Taking her resting hands off from the surface of the grainy sand she held them up too the fire, its warmth finally breaching deep into her clothes, they where still plenty soaked but she could tell they were start to dry off some. While she had a great distrust of other she was...glad that Nisha had come along, she imagined a night like this without a fire would have been a restless one. Fire was a moral booster, even in the worst of times it helped to raise peoples spirits, she had no food, and was soaking wet, but at least she would be warm enough soon. Listening as Nisha spoke about the stars Vixi could understand what she said, something about sleeping under an open sky was relaxing, it seemed to bring her back to a place that wasn't totally consume with phones and T.V's though this was coming from a person that was stuck in a virtual world, so she didn't have much room to speak of it. "Not at all... I too enjoy sleeping under the stars...it feels...right...it's hard to explain, but I think you know what I mean."
Watching as Nisha began to fuss over her tail it reminded Vixi of hers, often she would forget she even had one, though it was a piece of herself now it still took her by shock when she awoke some times. Over the time she had spent here Vixi had learned how to maneuver it quite well, even to the point she could pick up light items with it, though she found its best use was a pillow or a scarf when the weather went farther south than she had hoped it would have. As Nisah went about combing her tail Vixi thought it was best too be some grooming as well, though by mornings time she would probably have to do it again. Where as Vixi did not have the luxury of a brush she had learned other ways of clean her body though her's were a bit more...rustic. Pushing herself on her knees she propped her weight on her hands and knees as her tail stuck out behind her like a stick, straight and unbending, with a blur of orange movement her tail lashed out behind her like a whip sending all the sand that had stuck too it off into the water creating a series of splashes.
"Much better, though not nearly as fancy." It was hard to tell if Vixi was joking or not with her tone but somewhere in her words there might have been one.
Taking a seat once again on the sandy ground Vixi made sure that her tail was frimly resting in her lap before her bottom touched the ground, she minded little if her clothes were covered in the stuff but for some reason she had great affection over the fuzzy tail, probably just another one of those racial things. Stroking the fine layer of fur that covered her tail she listened as Nisha spoke again, picking back up her topic about the talking tress, such an idea back home would have been farfetched but here... things, everything seemed to have the possibly of having life, whether it was a simple stone or apparently a tree. At her comment of asking if Vixi would like to share a story her motion of her hand ceased as a few seconds passed before her faced glowed once more, being in the spot light always had done this too her; the center of attention and the focus of everyone nearby.
"N- no... I'm...I don't have any good- good stories...." Her voice came out shuttering once again as she tried to control herself but it seemed the more she stayed here the more she was finding herself not able to stop blushing in embarrassment. Just as Vixi was in the middle of roasting alive from the burning of her face Nisha continued to go on about her, in a swimsuit, picturing Nisha in such a way.... Burning like the heat of a flame Vixi started to cough a few times as she leaned her head away to hide her face from the woman. All in all this was much more than she had expected tonight, getting lost, this woman, everything!
"I need too...!" Vixi spat out cutting her sentence short as she rushed over too the side of the river and with one quick movement she dunked her head straight into the chilled water, one could swear they saw steam lines forming from where she was at, or maybe it was all in their imagination. Pulling her head out from the waters edge she gasped for air, it seemed like the near freezing water did the trick to snap her mind out of it, at least her face was more blue than it was red now.Crawling back to the camp fire with out a word Vixi slumped over and face first into the ground laying there for a while listening to the sounds of night around them. Oh how she must look like a fool in front of Nisha, it wasn't often anyone saw her like this, mostly due to the fact that she never spoke to others for this long, at most it was one or two words and then she was gone.
"This...woman...is going to...kill me....ugh... reasons I prefer animals too people...they don't strip down to their under garments and then tell you about their swimsuits." Her voice grumbbled in side her head all the while she was not sure whether to sit up or just lay there in her wet clothes till she passed out or died of the cold.

Ah, this would just not do, not at all. Nisha was near paralyzed when she had seen vixi wring out her tail like that, spraying water around and trying to get it back to normal, but in the end, it would be just as dirty as before. And that was just not something Nisha could stand. She was not the best in keeping things clean, but she also had some pretty tight rules when it came to certain stuff. Like tails and other accessoires, she always kept them tidy if only for appearances sake and vixi definitely did not look or act like a guy in the body of a girl but just like a girl who did not mind her appearance all too much, triggering something weird in Nisha, she had not thought she had. Something motherly maybe? But for now she kept it down, her face only very shortly turning into a wry smile. Nisha had not thought that vixi would tell a story anyway and her face as Nisha had said that she could come here with a swimsuit had been pretty adorable and cute. Ah, it was a good night and as she sat there and brushed her tail, she wondered if this evening was a bit too quiet, but then again, she had definitely felt joy talking with vixi and just sitting here. There was no need to stir some things... up... ? Nisha thought as she saw vixi dump her head into the river as if she was not already cold enough and sit back down as if nothing much had happened. Standing up sharply, her tails flicked a bit irritatedly as she looked down at vixi with a resolute glint in her eyes. "Yeah, no, stay seated and don´t move." Nisha said with a definite order in her voice this time that was still soft but also adamatedly as if she was a mother and could not see her child getting any more dirty. Moving to the side of vixi, who she would push back down to sit if she tried to stand up, she grabbed the girls tail in her hand and gently put her brush into it, moving it along as softly as possible, knowing that the girl had to have quite some knots in her fur and did not want to hurt her, pulling her back gently by the tail if she would try to move, unless she did it so much Nisha would have to rip out hairs. Seating herself to the girls side and pulled the tail over to her, so she would still be able to look vixi into her face. Still not being able to believe that a girl could let herself go like this even while not in front of many other people. This would just not do and was something Nisha would not let happen. "And after this is your hair, you got long hair so you have to take care of it as well. As for another story, let´s see, do you remember that cleaning event some time ago? Was a riot let me tell you. First time I noticed how dirty this game is and how much good housekeeper are needed." Nisha sighed at the sheer memory of how they had to clean, it felt so weird to clean in a game, but then again, it was for a good cause and she had gotten something good out of it as well. The maid uniform and her epic spear, one of the only quite unique items she had. Aside from her grimoire that was. The rest was more or less basic items, but her grimoire was the first of it´s kind which she herself had researched and the spear was an event item she had gotten that was quite awesome, even more so for someone like her who always got lost and liked fish quite a bit. "That one day I was just running around London when this busybody suddenly clouded... well, my whole vision was blocked out by this big dude in and get this: Golden armor. Shiny from top to bottom. It was quite the sight as he stood there in front of me with that smug grin on that pretty boy face where you just know that it is actually some kind of somewhat good looking guy behind it, but it also makes it feel creepy because of how authentic it is." Nisha laughed at that and wondered where the girl she had met back then had run off to. Well, the world was small, so she would meet her again at some point definitely. "And that guy, he had already collected twenty or so people, all of them girls. The bulky dudes were just ignored, I think one wandered by at least a dozen times to be shuffled into a group with the girls standing around who were somewhat intimidated and antsy about leaving. It was quite the sight, if I had nothing better to do, I would have left, but I had just eaten and thought why not. Mind throwing some wood on the fire?" Chuckling, she looked down at her own hand to adjust her brushing a little to make it go a bit deeper into the fur and yet stay away from the skin. Maybe she would massage it later, always felt quite good when she did so with her own tail. Using the innate power of the foxtails, she let the rest of her tails vanish but the one she had already brushed. They were still there, but at least it felt slightly better to know that only her poofy tail was still visible. Ah, if it was just that easy to disguise everything, like the slight wag of her tail or the joy she got out of brushing the girls tail or how it was a beautiful night and thsi encounter was more fun than she had imagined already. After all, even though vixi was not saying much she did seemed like someone who would warm up sooner or later to her and the fact that Nisha liked her already for how she was, was helping as well. Unknown to Nisha since she did not look up anymore, slowly but surely the stars were blinking into existence and covering the clear night sky like a blanket. Unconsciously, she began to feel that it was really starting to be night even though it had already grown dark and gloomy around them. Even if they tried to leave now, the darkness was all encompassing and would not help in their journey back, most likely they would get even more lost and even though Nisha would not mind getting lost with this girl. She would rather not. Vixi seemed vexed enough about the situation already, so there was no need to make it any more complicated normally. Waiting for the sun and maybe getting some rest once Nisha was done with the grooming of the other foxtail seemed like the best option to her. Until then, she had quite some more stories to dispense as well as caring for the girls hair and fur if she would let her. "You have beautiful orange hair." Nisha said as if a sigh and somewhat silent as if in afterthought. There was no envy in her voice but rather something happy as if she was gratulating vixi with the comment inside her own head for the choices she had made when creating her character. Nisha´s was following it´s own standard of anting to look plain and yet at least somewhat good. Hoping and also somewhat confident, that she had met the right sliders and colors. It was the crunching on the grainy sand that first came to Vixi's attention, with her ears perking up at the sudden sound she gently pushed herself on to her elbow too see Nisha with and almost humorous, commanding spark in her eyes. Always in the past such a look towards her meant nothing good for her as a wave of panic set in through her chest before Vixi had the chance to move another inch it was Nisha's demanding voice that kept her frozen in the spot where she lay on the soft sand, though her body was still like a stone craving her mind was buzzing about wondering just what Nisha had in store for her.
"I don't like where this is going...." She muttered through her locked teeth, each one pressing against the other as if any second they might shatter like a struck mirror, sending thousands of shards off in every which direction.
Closing in the short distance to her around the fire pit she was upon her within a few seconds leaving Vixi little to no time to make any movements that might save her for what might come. Giving Vixi a slight push on her shoulders to settle her back down Vixi gave little resistance too the movement, simply giving into Nisha's orders, even though Vixi had no idea of the woman's level she had a good idea that Nisha was much stronger than she might ever become. With little protest Vixi lay there in her dripping clothes, her damp air sticking to her body as she waited for whatever Nisha was going to do to her.
"Eep!" The high picthed squeeled erupted from her mouth with the slighltest touch of her own tail, so caught off gaurd by the action she jumped a few inches of the ground, kicking a large dose of sand along with her as her legs flayed about in a useless fashion. Feeling the brush as it made its way through her thick orange coat made her stop her scrambles but let her feeling no less better about it.
"What...what are you doing?" Her voice quivered ,with ever passing second her face growing a deeper red than before. Finding that no matter what she might try here she was under the cavpite of Nisha Vixi resumed her still stance on the floor letting Nisha go to work on stroking her tail, though she hated the idea of being touched and hated being touched even more than the thought...she had to admit... she did like this... though that didn't mean she wasn't going to protest any less about it!
Grumbling slightly under her breath with protest about Nisha's doing she kept most silent ask the woman spoke, only letting the occasional grunts of disapproval out in between Nisha's words. While Vixi wasn't much of a talker, she was a rather good listener always soaking up every bit of infromation that someone spoke, most of what she heard from others was random glibberish or grabbage facts that were meaningless too her but sometimes she would find that golden nugget with would yield some results... though as of yet she hadn't found much of anything in this world worth her time...at least at her current status based off her levels and skills... which she severely lacked in.
"Cleaning...event....no...I probably wasn't around... at least not in the city...." Thinking about it she had only heard of it through listening to the people of the land as they chattered away in the fields she often over looked, it was interesting to watch them, simple folk but just like everyone else they loved to gossip about whatever they could get their hands on. There had been a time where she thought going to such an event would be profitable... but then she remembered she would have to deal with others... ew, nothing of which she would have found any fun in doing, cleaning was dirty...though she didn't have much room to speak about cleanliness as she lay here letting someone else tend to her hygienic needs.
"Golden armor... shiny...." Vixi muttered with her face stuck in the sand, really it was all she could do now, lay here and wait till Nisha saw fit that she was clean enough for her tastes though the way Nisha dressed and carried herself about it might be a few days before Vixi would be let free from her grasp. It wasn't as though Vixi didn't like being clean, she quite enjoyed the idea of it but living outside the city without any shelter to call her own... she saw the whole maintaining her looks as pointless, by the end of the days she would just be covered in muck and dirt once again, just how long had it been since she had cleaned her nails for that matter or even washed her hair? To long to think of.
"Sounds like he was making a harem...gross...." She felt a disgust growing her stomach at the sheer of idea of such a thing, back home she used to watch shows where the main plot was a guy with five girls wanting him, comedy ensues and she got a few good laughs, but the real idea of it all, yuck. She held her tongue out with disgust at the idea till she remembered she was still facing towards the ground as her tongue was quickly covered in sand. Spiting the grainy sand from her mouth she kept quite once again, not wanting another mouth full of sand or too make herself look more foolish.
A silence held in the chilling air between the two whether it was from Vixi's sand spitting or lack of stories anymore she was glad for a few seconds too herself... at least mostly to herself, the occasional brushing from Nisha was one of the few noises that blended with the background. Vixi could feel the brush moving deeper and deeper into furry tail making her grunting in a odd fashion, the noise was somewhere between human and animal though not something that she had done on purpose. Nisha's voice broke though the night air making Vixi blush gently, thankfully her face was still hidden from sight, less she become more embarrassed from the woman's watch.
"... umm... thank...thank you... other than the...than the strips of colors...my hair looks like this...back...well back home...." Her voice trailed off as she thought about her appearance, it had been awhile since she had even seen her own reflection in anything other than a pool of water, but even then it was distorted from what she truly looked like.
"I guess... I wanted part of me, to really be in this world... I mean, when I came here...it was only the second time I played...so I guess more of me is here than I would have ever thought."

Laughing Nisha nodded. "Yeah, I guess you could call it a harem, never thought about it as such before. Makes it even creepier." Shivering slightly from that imagination and that it suddenly really seemed like it to her, she shook off the thought and went on: "But yeah, in the end, I found another girl and we just went to clean on our own while the other girls tore that guy a new one for letting them wait and the queasiness from having listened to that guy. The station where we cleaned was a damn mess. Rabble and remains lying all around, if I did not know better I at least felt ghosts brushing by as we cleaned." Normally even the mention of ghosts would have given her goosebumps, but as she knew that it was not true and that it was just some emellishment for the sake of the story, she did not mind all that much. Nisha sighed as she heard that vixi had orange hair in the real world as well. Nisha herself had... She felt like sighing again. She disliked talking about real life, even more so since this was really her getaway and not just something to vent. She had chosen something extra and completely different from her real body, but then again... Nisha had started this topic, so she might just indulge the girl whoms tail she was brushing now and had so rudely pushed back into the sand. Maybe it would do her some good as well to tell someone and be honest about it. Looking down at her hands again, she turned the tail gently to brush all around. It was a bit of work, but that kind of work she did with enthusiasm. She enjoyed it to no end seeing the tail perk up and sink down again becoming even fluffier than before. Next would be vixi´s hair, maybe she would even change the style a little? Braids, huh? Or maybe a ponytail? If only she had a few ribbons at hand. Pompadour would be interesting if only to get a little laugh out of it. But first: "Well, I can´t say my character has anything to do with my real life persona. I actually have long blonde wavy poofy hair, but don´t tell anyone. This is about as far from my real appearance as I could get it and yet still good looking enough that I felt I could have fun." Chuckling, Nisha put the brush away and instead used her fingers to run through the furry tail and stroke it, massaging it a little. Nisha did not know much about tail care, but she had read up a little on it. After all, foxtails and wolfhairs were natural in this place, so naturally there were books on them as well and the amount of care needed by some of those races had astonished her. She had not taken it to the extreme, but she had read enough to know how to at least somewhat keep her tail in shape, even though she did not know how much this kind of thing affected players who were bound by rules of the game and yet were not always affected the same way as a natural person of this land. Reviving and all that included. Who knew if their appearance would not just stay the same no matter what they did, but for Nisha that did not matter all that much. Even if it did nothing, it was relaxing for her to feel the brush sliding and the feeling of her hands in the fluffyness, her face on the tail as she finished up and tested the softness, hugging the tail for a moment. Not consciously, but because it suddenly looked fluffy enough to do so and because she had felt it for some time under her hand now and... well, it just came over her and it was indeed soft enough that she did not want to let go right away. But she quickly let it go, not as if embarassed, but rather as if being surprised by her own actions. Harumphing a little to clear her throat and get her own mind out of the gutter, she said: "Yeah... uhm, right, hair. Mind sitting up? Sand must not taste very good in hindsight." Chuckling a little, Nisha got into a seiza style sitting position with her legs below her, it was not her favorite, but this way she gained a few more inches to be a bit higher and look down on vixi´s hair once she got into position. Well, that was if she got into position. Nisha hoped she would not run away while she was doing that and was so in her element that she did not have a handle on any tail or shoulder of vixi this time. Just thinking she would do what Nisha said by now. "As for my hair, it was quite the shock and surprise to suddenly have different hair I can tell you. I had not thought it would matter much in the long run, but now I am pretty glad I chose short hair for this character.
Makes it much easier." Nisha said and pulled on one of her own damp strands of black hair. It was not really 'short short' hair, but it was definitely much shorter than her real life hair. And that would have been a real hassle in the game. As would have been quite some other features of her. Thinking that much, she hoped vixi would not pick up on it and tease her back about this. It was definitely her weak point, along with ghosts. The two things she had mentioned in this short time... Maybe she was getting soft around this girl, not that it would disturb her, vixi seemed like a good person and definitely someone Nisha would like to think of as a good friend. If only, Nisha smiled a little mischievously for a second, to have someone to brush and tease a little while talking. Foxtails were quite rare and she had only met one or two before and those had quite high walls up that Nisha did not care to scale while vixi´s seemed naturally low and easily approachable. Or maybe it was just that Nisha could deal with that kind of personality rather well, dealing with people who she had to put much effort into to get to even be on the first step to a friendship were usually a hassle to her, while defenseless people were her soulmates, being the same as her. The soft vibrates from Nisha's shivers could be felt by Vixi with Nish'a hand shaking with the idea of such of group of woman, at least it seemed like beneath all the goofiness that Nisha's displayed there was some sense inside of her, it seemed as though common sense was not so common back home... and a lot of that carried into this world as well. Grunting from the extra movements from Nisha, Vixi did her best to keep still, leaving her remaining movements too little but flicks of her eyes displaying her distaste for being brushed as she was. Touching was one thing but she had gone far enough and come close enough and actually groom her, there was reason's why Vixi often kept herself in such a shambled fashion, though not that she spoke of it too anyone.
"Damn mess...sounds a lot like my room...." Her words came out more like a mutter than anything else with her face still towards the ground, not wanting another mouth full of sand she thought it was best too her volume and facial expressions to a minimum.
Sinking her nails into the sand she gritted her teeth ever so slightly as her large canines flashed towards the ground, with ever movement that Nisha made it took much out of her not to snap out at the woman, it appeared that she meant no harm to Vixi but still... she couldn't shake off that feeling of having someone else hands on her, it didn't matter where... just not on her. It was a complex feeling, one part of her enjoyed the attention that she was receiving while the other half wished to left alone in a dark hole till the sun came up once more...but at least if she stayed here there was a fire to lift her spirits...and Nisha wasn't terrible company... even with Vixi's one personal preference of hating to be sociable. While Vixi lay down in the dirt consoling with her own thoughts Nisha worked away at grooming the young girl making sure that ever part of her tail was stroked well, with ever pass of the brush it seemed to glow brighter in the light of the fire, becoming cleansed of the dirt that had become riddled within its fine hairs.
"Don't tell anyone...like I have others I choose to associate with...." Her thoughts were scornful but none the less they held truth to them, it had been quite a few days since she had the displeasure of speaking to another, though it was but a person of the land, for some reason she found it much easier to speak to them than others. Vixi knew the people where but once data; code in a video game, but now they were alive...right? At least they seemed it to her, they had memories , emotions and even families, what else was needs to have life... even if it still just might be lines of codes, they were human enough, but it was that small gap between human, and something not that she felt more comfortable with.
"...Eep!" Vixi jumped again her high pitched wail ringing between the trees and into the darkness of the night. Such a sound might be thought too come from seeing a monster or even a mouse in some cases but not this, the mere contact on her tail from Nisha's hand more than enough to make her jump off the ground again, her face ablaze with redness.
"What are you-Ack!" Vixi was stunned as her head cocked around to see Nisha's face planted against Vixi's own tail hugging it as though it was a stuffed animal, a child's play toy. Words couldn't seem to form from Vixi's mouth from the sight she was beholding, her own tail, a piece of her was being cuddled, right before her!
"Wha- I-...." Her words came out in shambles her mouth not seeming too be able to find the words, or any words at all, like penguins pushing another off into the water the words drooped from her hanging mouth. It was only when Nisha's grip was released that Vixi could feel some sense of normality coming back to her once again. Seeing the slightly embarrassed look on Nisha's face confused Vixi most likely just as much as Nish'a own actions did but she didn't want to discuss that matter any longer... both seemed more than a little embarrassed at what had just happened.
At Nisha's nervous command Vixi looked at her for a few seconds till she slowly pushed herself up onto her knees, with her back now facing towards Nisha she sat with her knees under her all the while her face was reddened as she held a pouting look on her face. Sliding her tail into her lap she held onto it like a child trying to keep her favorite toy away from others, with her first touch on its fine orange coat she could feel the difference that the brushing had done, feeling almost like velvet against her skin.. even so her flared emotions didn't change with the new found fact... even as fuzzy and soft as that fact was. Vixi wasn't sure what to make of all this or even sure what to say at the moment...maybe it was best to leave it where it was at... no need to make a open wound fester. The idea of just bolting for it was tempting she had too admit... but... it was dark...and scary out there, Vixi didn't seem to fear monsters when face to face with them, it was when she knew they were they and couldn't seem them that it became an issue.
"...it looks nice." Her voice squeaked on the last part as she wasn't entirely sure why she had just said that. While Vixi was generally a nice person...more or less her sociability skills where lacking greatly compared to others, she often didn't bother to give complements let alone talk to others.
"...why brain? Why are you doing this too me?" Her internal voice sobbed quietly as Vixi sat there looking into the flames before her with question, trying to find some insight into what was going on here.
Vixi couldn't entirely figure out Nisha her personality seemed all over the place all at one time, and it seemed to work in harmony, a confusing matter but it worked.,at least it appeared that way. All Vixi knew of Nisha is what she spoke and what she saw of her so far...she was...interesting to say the least and not in a bad way, out going, caring... seemed to like skimpy clothes and yet finds the idea of a harem disgusting...and looked good in a maids outfit. Her mind was going to over drive with all of the facts spinning her head, what she wouldn't give for some aspirin right about now, too bad she had no coin and wasn't an alchemist, at this point with all the time she spent out in the wilds she thought she would switch classes over but for one reason or another she hadn't.

Nisha was stilla little bit weirded out by the fact that she had brushed and hugged the tail of this girl with her hands. Not in the bad way naturally, but it had not been something she usually did. Vixi obviously did not really like being groomed and apparently not even people, but Nisha could not have helped herself. She was just too adorable not to get involved with, talk to her and maybe hug her, if only to tease her into doing something. But she had a certain line she usually did not cross when teasing. It was the physical way, just like she had been bullied as a child that she did not want to repeat for others and even though she had not meant for it, it had happened and now she felt a little bit guilty about it. Sure, vixi had not said anything about it, but she was not saying much anyways and she had definitely looked just as shocked as Nisha must have looked. There was only one thing taht was holding Nisha back, a weird feeling she did not often feel, something akin to familiarity or a kindred spirit. Someone who was just as unsociable as her but expressed it differently. Nisha´s way was to tackle a conversation right away, conquer the flow of any topic and make it play out in her rules so that no one would have a chance to even bring up awkward comments or something like it. Just, this time, she had done so herself and if there was anyone she had to apologize to, or at least that was how she was thinking, she had to do so to herself. Since she was unable to do so as a somewhat sane person, she decided to let it drop and just breathe in silently and let it go on her next breathing out. Sighing slowly, she moved her hands up to vixi´s long hair and touched it, feeling the dampness in it and adding towels to her next travel already, wondering why they were not already a part of it. But then again, she had only ran around in warm regions so far when she was swimming or had a fire at the ready to warm her right up again. Well, that and she did not know if something like a towel had even been created yet, she had seen those flimsy rags in the bathhouse she had been to once, but towels, real ones, so far none. Time to pester the only tailor she knew, kumori to come up with some cute ones and take them with her next time. Brushing over the hair with her hands, she gently moved over vixi´s ears and found that they were fluffy as she poked them stealthily and chuckled a little from it. "Was it weird for you too to suddenly have ears on top? I know I freaked out for a second or two and was dizzy for at least a week. All the bumps I had." Nisha laughed as she remembered and stopped touching the ears directly, picking up the brush again and slowly moving it into Vixi´s hair, doing slow strokes and being careful not to hurt the skin on her head. It was a bit of work for the first few brushes, but soon the hair of vixi´s gave way and became manageable, less knots and tangles appearing every time she moved her hand and felt it slowly moving through the sea of orange. "Thank you for the compliment, I guess I overdid it in the end anyway, curse my sense of aesthetics." Laughing, she looked down at herself, noticing once again that she was still wearing the maid uniform and how this must look for anyone who might be watching. A maid taking care of an unwilling mistress? A mistress being dissatisfied? Whatever it would be, it would be pretty interesting as an idea for a story to tell sometime. "No false modesty though, you look pretty good yourself. Not just your hair." Nisha poked vixi in the back to make her sit a bit straighter, not being able to reach the strands in front if she was not sitting straight. But at least she would spare her the... Actually now that she thought about it, she just might make vixi lean back and give her a lap pillow while brushing. Would be interesting to look directly into vixi´s face while grooming her. Grinning at the thought, she left it at that stage, a thought that could be entertained sometime later. For now, this was good enough. "As for the story, where was I? Oh, right, the cleaning event. Later that day I finally got this maid uniform when cleaning a house. It was pretty big, well, at least for what houses there are usually in london, you know those small and pressed together houses that look taler because of how thin they are? Well, we were in one of the big ones and had to clean with four people, that big a house and you know what was in the room I had to clean? A swarm of..." Nisha asked and slowly moved her free hand to vixi´s spine as if to poke her again, but instead only nearly touched it, making her finger wander up and slowly move to vixi´s neck, but before reaching there, she would suddenly poke vixi again and call out: "SPIDERS!" In a loud voice that was tinged with laughter. It was one of her better stories she had to tell and that really happened to her. She still remembered all those eights of eyes focusing on her as she started to clean that room. As for the other participants, there were some stories to tell as well, but for now it was enough to just leave it at that and see how she reacted. Grinning as she finished, she waited until vixi settled down again to start brushing again, having taken away the brush in precaution to not hurt her if she were to jump up or something. But really, thsi night was just right for some semi spooky stories like a talking tree or something like that. Lazily she threw a piece of wood on the fire and heard it start to burn, creating a bit of smoke, but they were all dried mostly and so they at least did not stink all that bad. Although Nisha had smelled something like that before. Ah, a nice real bonfire was something great if done correctly. The right wood and the right kind of wind, the right kind of surface, although she would have hoped for something harder, sand sometimes smothered flames, but this bit on the edge of the water was just the right amount of hard and soft, keeping it in a cone and making the fire leak into the wood and not outwards toward those who were sitting around it, making this a perfect place for camping. Maybe vixi had a sense for something like that, seeing as she had moped here all alone before. Words: 1189 Tags: vixiWeapon: Nishan(Scar) Armor: Nishanat (Daybreak) Accessoires: Nishani (Keepsake)

Vixi found the whole situation that she was stuck in a beyond the point of awkward, it didn't seem as thought Nisha had any ill intent with her actions... at least she hoped; Vixi my no means was a mind reader, relying heavily on others body language to read them but for some people it was more difficult. Nisha was playful and enjoyed toying with Vixi too some extent... a very far extent it seemed. Over the time she had spent here she had learned to try and cope with others, touching, and petting her like a child but Nisha went the extra mile, pampering her like a pet. Attention was one thing but this seemed to go further than she had ever experienced before, she couldn't think of another time when another went about grooming her, making her look appealing to another's eyes. For the first time in... much more time that she could think back to, her appearance was changing into something that... suited her natural beauty but her interal self wished nothing from it. Beauty only brought attention, wandering eyes and lingering thoughts, her idea of happiness was here blending in, not to be seen by unwanted eyes.
With her back facing towards Nisha, Vixi looked deep into the shifting flames of the fire, they danced with the gentle winds that blew through their tiny camp site making the long shadows waver about, as if the shadows where putting on a display just for them. Sighing heavily Vixi waited there for whatever it was Nisha was going to do next though she figured out quickly with a light tap on her long hair, even though the touch was lighter than a feather she could feel it as though she had nerves that ran through each stand of her bright hair. Arching her back till it she was sitting erect a small burst of air expelled from her mouth, she could feel her shoulder muscles tighten up with the new found touching but she did her best to try and remain steady, all the while she could feel her face heating up once again.
It didn't help to stop the flow of blood to her face when a wandering finger slid over the tip of her furry hair making a small yelp escape her mouth, she had not expect Nisha to touch her there...but it appeared as though the woman was interested... in everything about her. As she sat there thinking she prayed that Nisha was not like that of a shark, biting things to see how they tasted...though at this point she wouldn't be very surprised if she did, the only sense she hadn't used on her yet was tasting...and smelling....the idea alone was enough to send a shiver through out her body, though it might have been the still damp clothes mixed with the coolness of the night that did the trick.
"Er... I guess... everything was loud...well minus all the afraid people...but I like them... I can hear better than before...plus...fuzzy-and what not." Her tiny voice cracked slightly as she spoke Vixi did her best to cover up her mistake with a small cough as she cover her mouth but she knew the damage had already been done.
Just as Nisha had done before with her tail she began to brush done her long orange hair, since the day she had arrived here she hadn't even bothered to cut it, over the days it just kept growing and growing till it would cover all her back side till stopping just short of her legs. Unlike her tail Vixi found this...not nearly as bad as her tail, hair after all was just dead cells but with her tail it was almost like another limb too her body, she could grab things with it but her hair, it was simply that, just hair. The overall process was bearable but just only, part of her wished it to stop so she could just curl into a little ball and go to sleep...while the other...the other wished it to go on forever. Vixi was conflicted with the two emotions but she knew that the latter of the two was just who she was becoming, a true Fox Tail...she wasn't sure if she hated or liked it....
"No...it's good... it really pretty...."
"Why did I say that! Stop saying things!" Her internal voice shouted at her as though it was scolding a child.
"Wha-?" Vixi chocked on her words as Nisha complimented her, though being Vixi she took the meaning a bit further than its original intent might have been. If her face hadn't been burning before it certainly was now, finding that the only way to cover it up was to shield her face with her hands letting her tiny squeals into her palms. Had this been a since from a anime show she was sure that her nose would surely be bleeding more than was good for her own safety.
Vixi wasn't sure if Nisha was giving her a break but going back to her tale but she was thankful for the few moment where she wasn't the spot light of attention, the savory few spots where she could recover from the woman's seemingly endless prods and pokes at her being. As if her heart was going to burst through her chest at any second she took some time as Nisha spoke to slow her heart rate, she wasn't exactly sure if it was at all possible to have a heart attack in this world but she didn't want to find out from first had experience. With the tale continuing Vixi paid close attention anything to rid the feeling of her hair being pull and tugged at, feeling as if she could have been too the place where Nisha was speaking of. With the sudden pause in the middle of the story Vixi braced herself for the coming unveil, general such pauses would led to something scary that would be shouted at her. Though Vixi was right she had not been expected Nisha to poke her in the back in such a way leading too her jumping off the sand once again she kicking her legs out from under her body, a flurry of dust and sand went flying into the air around them almost putting out the fire in the process as Vixi leaned to one side trying to catch her breath once again.
"Not...funny...." She huffed between the pauses as her hard clutched to her rapidly beating chest.
Tossing another piece of wood into the lowly lit fire from the sudden sand attack it began to burn once again, though not nearly as bright as before, though an accident on her behalf she couldn't have helped herself any. It was her reaction too being touched in such a surprising manner, really she should have seen it coming but for one reason or another she let herself open for such a sneak attack. Grumpily pushing herself back onto her bottom she resumed her position knowing all to well that Nisha was not yet done with her, god would only know just what else she had planned to do with her. Her hail was still a mess compared to that of Nisha and with what Vixi knew about Nisha she would probably try and style it as well...maybe if she shaved her hair this wouldn't be an issue anymore....

As they settled back down and vixi sat back down as she had been, Nisha could not help herself but chuckle. There was no resistance and the things she had said definitely pointed it out, at least in Nisha´s opinion that this girl was definitely not very honest with herself. Or maybe a bit too honest but too shy to give in to it? Lowering the chuckle to a grin, she lifted the brush once more to sink it into vixi´s hair, but stopped herself. This girl was just too adorable and yet somehow it was also saddening to see her like this. Her hair was mostly done anyway and Nisha wondered if she should really do this anymore. Even though vixi had basically said that she liked her hair and that she indeed liked her new form, there was still something that bothered Nisha a little and she did not like feeling this way around someone with whom she would like to be friends with. Lowering her hands completely, she let the brush fall on her lap and looked at the back of vixi´s head. But then again, just as she had thought before, some people did not know fun or happiness until you poked them a little just as she had done. it was also true that anything that can bend can also break, so maybe it was time to give vixi one. A little break from the grooming and Nisha poking or hugging her, if only to find out how vixi would react to it. Maybe this bit would let her make up her mind and if it was not, Nisha would let it happen, she was not that heartless a person to just torture someone without break. "I think I am about done with your hair for now, that is if you do not want some extra styling maybe?" Nisha asked and leaned back down, letting her legs relax a little as she sat down normally again. "Relaxing a little, she felt how tired she was herself, until now she had played the strong part, but she was indeed exhausted just like any evening from all her running around and trying to find something interesting to do. And in the end, she was usually burned out and just crawled not into a hole but up a tree to get rest until the morning, enjoying the stars and the cold of the world till her eyes closed automatically and everything vanished. But today she had company and felt a bit more energetic because of it already even though her lazy side was starting to rumor around inside of her and made her wonder if she should even care all too much, her own tails were mostly still dirty and needed to be brushed, but it was such a hassle... Maybe... "Hmm, so I just wondered, but would you mind brushing my tails in return? I mean, it would be just fair if you took a little revenge on me." Nisha laughed, not really thinking that vixi would agree, but who knew, maybe for some reason or another, be it vengeance or maybe some real wonder if Nisha´s tail was really just as fluffy as hers. Sighing and enjoying the warmth that permeated her to the core by now, she took a quick look at the clothes she had put on the stick to dry and wondered if they were ready by now, the maid uniform was definitely nice, but it was also a hassle to move and sit in. All those frills and stuffy thing attached to it. It made her wonder why maids were even wearing it since most of the stuff did not have any function Nisha could explain to herself, even though she definitely saw the appeal for the masses. They were quite beautiful after all... looking at it, wearing it yourself was something different altogether. "Where was I? Oh, right, spiders. So, I had only entered the room with the broom as they sent the first few to scout me out, apparently the broom was like a declaration of war. And soon I was swinging and using it like a weapon to get all those tiny and somewhat big spiders off of me, thinking for a second I might get spun into a nice lump and be taken away to some huge web or something." Nisha laughed at that idea, wondering if there were spiders in this world big enough to even do that and if her fox ears would have stuck out at one end and her tail at the other. She did not even remember anymore how many she had had back then, but she was quite happy to have more now. It had been a blast to walk around with them and feel what they had to offer as senses. After all, each hair was quite sensitive to touch and she had become able to walk through the dark without hitting her body against anything just by moving her tail around a little from time to time, not counting the times she had stumbled and fell over her own feet that was. Ah, now that she thought such things she really wanted to take back what she had said and touch vixi´s ears some more, fuzzy, huh? Nisha sniggered a little bit thinking about how she had said it and how red she must have gotten from saying all the other things as well. Vixi was definitely a shy little thing, but Nisha wondered if it was really shyness or rather holding back what she wanted to say for real since it seemed to spill over from time to time. She really needed to vent if that was the case. "I am wondering but has anyone ever told you that it seems as if you have no guard?" Asking that, she looked up to the stars again, waiting for a good moment to continue her story and maybe lose a few more words on the night which had now come in fullblown and vanquished even the last bit of light that might have resided, the fire they had made flickering from the sudden sand attack of vixi, but still going quite well. Picking up a longer stick, Nisha pushed over a bigger piece of wood and created a new foundation before adding two more smaller pieces on top that enlarged the circle of light to it´s former glory, shining brightly and nice, adding more warmth and heat. Even Nisha´s face now a rosy pale from how much she liked this, even though she wished she had brought some drinks now. The water just a bit away was cold enough to cool anything to a nice temperature after all, Nisha tested so to say. Slowly but surely the stars winked into existance and sparkled in the sky, one after the other adding to the veil that it was wearing proudly. Propping herself up from the sandy ground Vixi sat quietly, only letting the occasional grumbling of sounds escape from her throat, Nisha seemed to be enjoying this activity much than the orange haired girl though given that Vixi look little to no care of her personal appearance it was obvious that she wasn't having the best of times. Compared to Nisha, Vixi might have well been swimming in dirt all day and night for days on end, though the true story wasn't much different from that. Regularly she spent her nights huddled outside the walls of the city, clinging to small bushes for warmth or resting in the high branches of trees. With no place to call a home her appearance only grew filthier as time passed by, if she was lucky she might have found a unattended shed which could provide her a place to sleep from the cold winds of night, even giving her a chance to wash her skin if running water was nearby, though such spots where a luxury and rare to come by. As for Nisha it appeared as though she hadn't gone a day without some type of pampering, her tails where glorious, almost seeming to glow like the pale moon that hovered in the darkened skies, her skin was clear and smooth, looking as if she touched her she would feel like silk, even her scent reminded Vixi of fresh roses covered in morning dew just as the sun was raising... the two couldn't appearance much different at this point. One part of Vixi was jealous of the woman, even with her trekking through the woods after a day her looks generated an aura around her of beauty and Vixi... she was a clump of dirt... on the other hand she didn't wished to pull attention towards her, being over looked as just another poor NPC was just fine for her. There were thousands of NPC's out there it was easy for her to pretend that she was not an adventurer at first glance... it was prefect for her, she imagined that when Nisha walked down the street eyes followed her every graceful movement, it must have been difficult for her if she didn't like the attention.
Withdrawing the brush from her hair Vixi cocked her head to the side with question, was she done already? It felt like it had just started, and here they were done already.
"No...I think I'll be fine...." Softly her voice came out as her hands reached up to her long bang that hung to the side of her face, like a child she clung to it, gently stroking her hand down its length till she reached the tip. She couldn't believe just how smooth and silky it was, the last time it was like this was when she started the game. It was though the long strands that made up her hair had been renewed with life once again, and all from a simple brushing of her hair... but it wouldn't last... once the sun would rise they would most likely part ways, never to see each other again... it's usually how it went. Nisha would eventually end up moving on with her life and Vixi would be forgotten, a faint memory of the past... but...why did she feel sad about it? A strange feeling in the pit of her stomach began to bubble up, like the maw of a storm at sea, its brute strength churning inside her.
"What...is this?" Her hand dropped down to her stomach feeling her belly but felt nothing coming from her body...was it all in her mind?
"Why...do I feel like this?" She questioned herself, thinking that her mind was just playing tricks on her, or maybe she was just light headed, after all it had been a few days since her last meal; mushrooms and a few crickets did little to satisfy her cravings.
Having been so caught up in her thoughts she had barely heard Nisha's question till the last few words, with her ears twitching slightly she turned around to glance at Nisha though she was caught off guard with just how the woman was laid out before her. Wearing the maids outfit with her long glowing legs stretched out before her was more than enough to make Vixi whip her head around as she clasped her face to keep all the blood from pooling in her head.
"Yaaa- su-ure...." Her voice quaked, shriveling up like a raisin basking in the summer heat. Vixi could tell from Nisha's laughter that she was joking about the question but Vixi wasn't very good at saying no, once asked something she was more than likely to do it, regardless of who asked.
Having to control her unsteady shaking hands, Vixi pushed herself onto her knees making sure that her tail was well placed above her as to not let any sand penetrate its fine freshly brushed coat, after all she wasn't sure she would survive another round with Nisha at her backside. Crawling around behind Nisha she kept her eyes to the ground as to not let them wander back on to Nisha legs... just the thought alone sent a shiver down her spine. Taking up a spot behind Nisha, Vixi snatched up the brush, taking a long good look at Nisha's darkly coated tail, already she could tell it was in a much better condition that hers was. It was slightly embarrassing being in such a position behind Nisha but the worst part was how much shame she felt letting her appearance fall to the level that it had...but it was all done for the best....
Coughing a few times Vixi took a few deep breaths to try and steady her still shaking hands, nothing that could have been told to her earlier in the day would have prepared her for this moment. She had not expected the day to go as it had, getting lost was one thing but this... oh this was something on a completely different level... but... at least she wasn't alone for once... she didn't feel alone.... Some how, some where in her brain she took comfort in that thought, though she wasn't exactly sure why, even to herself she was a mystery at time. Even with a new body her brain was the same but she was still finding out new things about herself, whether internally or externally thought with her new appearance that was a given.
"Just- just don't start- purring or anything...." Her voice seemed to come out more like a trembling whisper than anything else as she took up Nisha tail in her hand, with her tiny hands wrapped around the mid section of Nisha's tail she couldn't believe just how soft it was, as though she had wrapped her hand around a kitten mixed with a chinchilla.
"Wow.... I can see why she rubbed her face on-" The thought caused Vixi to cough slightly as she shook her head back and forth rapidly trying to rid her mind of the image.
"No! No! No! Stop it you!" Mentally she was slapping herself in the face as she took up to brushing Nisha's fine coat of fur, starting off with small slow strokes, making sure not to get caught on any knots but by the looks of it she didn't think there was going to be any. Nisha took great care of her body, every thing from her head down too her toes had a youthful glow to it, Vixi couldn't imagine what she did every day to come outside looking as she did.
Continuing with her story Vixi kept quite focusing for the most part on Nisha's fur, working quickly but making sure to cover each inch of her tail, it might have been awhile since she groom herself but it wasn't as though she had forgotten how to brush hair. At one point she had considered going to become a hair stylist but life seemed to have other plans for her. Keeping quite as she usually did she did little to comment on the story, rather she left Nisha take her along on her tale, seeing her past through her words, each sentence was as though a picture was being painted before her very eyes, there wasn't great detail her speech but Vixi quickly filled in the blanks the best she could. In her mind Nisha wore a metal plated maids outfit with a flaming broom stick while she fought off hoards of giant spiders, she knew that's not what really happened but she liked it better this way.
The story seemed to go quite leaving the two of them with the sounds of the fire to keep the company, Vixi didn't mind the silence, often she found comfort without the loud sounds of the city blasting in her sensitive hears, thought it was Nisha that broke the stillness of the night air with a rather odd and sudden question making her twitch as the words met her ears.
"My guard....." She thought about the question, her head looking down at the ground with a expression of gloom on her face. Stopping with her slow stroke Vixi wasn't exactly sure just how to answer her question.
"...yes... many times...." There was more that just a hint of sadness in her voice, one might even think she was crying but lucky for Vixi she was sitting behind Nisha so none of the tears could been seen. Placing her finger under her eyes she whipped away a lone tear and flicked it off into the sand where it quickly disappeared though her expression changed little.

Nisha gave vixi the brush as she walked by her, it would be nice to have someone just brush her directly, but Nisha had the feeling that might be a bit too much for now, even the request she heard a little later would show that. Not to purr, huh? Nisha had half a mind to loudly purr just to say she was sorry and that vixi was just that good, but no. Nisha would hold still and enjoy the brush in someone elses hands and the uniqueness of that siituation. It made her wonder why she was not asking people to do this more often. This was actually the first time Nisha let someone else do this and she definitely did not mind vixi doing it. Even more so with the technique vixi showed that very moment, or rather dedication to do a good job at it if she was doing it anyways. Getting every nook and cranny of her tail and making Nisha feel satisfied, no not satisfied. Ah, it was heavenly. Not only was there now someone who was grooming her tails quite well, even though not expertedly, but even the night was clear, how much of a disaster would it have been if it suddenly started to rain? Although it would have had it´s own appeal, two bodies trying to fit in a small caved out tree opening, careful not to touch each other but slight movement already brings them closer to each other... Well, that had been a weird little thought experiment, one she buried deep down real fast, for now she enjoyed the brushing and grooming that vixi gave her tails, one of which she had already finished. But really, Nisha had been quite surprised about vixi agreeing to it, maybe she was one of those people who could not say no or gave in to the pressure? Even though Nisha usually tried to not exert any pressure, she found that weirdly enough often people felt pressured by her or even threatened. It made her a little sad and always surprised her, maybe a bit too much of her imposting personality had jumped over into this world. Not that she noticed usually, she was sometimes a bit too oblivious about these kinds of things and it resulted in her seemingly being insensitive or rude or worse. Whatever was worse than that. Normally it worked out for her though, either because she met the right people or had the right charisma maybe. Whatever it was, it seemed to be working this time around as well. Vixi was doing a pretty good job and Nisha felt relieved that vixi had not just jumped up after Nisha had given her free and vacated to the other side of the fire. Even though she thought she had a pretty good grasp on the girl, Nisha also knew that vixi was more mysterious than she let on and unexpected was to be expected with her so far. Suddenly vixi hit the right spot and Nisha could barely contain herself from moaning a little from how good it felt to have someone else do this and maybe hit some spots that she herself did not get to. Just like that one, it sends ripples of heat out from her tail which she felt rushing through her blood and heating her up a little more. Sighing as it was gone, she hoped she had not been loud enough for vixi to hear and started to speak up again. After all, the story was far from over and she had many more to tell, some of them true, some of them from herself and some of them just the opposite, not that anyone would be able to call her out on those anyway. The land was mostly unexplored and there were too many events to be in every single one at the same time. Also, something she had come to wonder, what had happened to all the other servers, from japan to america and europe, who knew if they had not been involved as well. Millions over millions of people could be caught in this game with no way out, hopefully there were enough individuals like Nisha around who were spreading the joy of this occasion as well. Nisha had not felt sad about being in here even once so far and since someone would come up with some solution to get out anyway she would just have fun until the end. "Hrrrrrmmm that was a good spot. Sorry." Nisha chuckled a little as if in apology and yet well meant praise. "So, yes, the broom and the spiders, I have never seen so many in a single room, basically the walls and the ceiling were made out of spiders who were not happy about me being there and coming at me. But soon it was less living than dead and soon enough I was exhausted and looked at the last one. A vicious little thing as big as my palm, so little is a bit weird, let´s call it well sized for a house spider." Nisha held up her small palm, not satisfied with just that area, she moved her hand to her back and pulled on vixi´s hand to get the about right size of the spiders body. Feeling the warmth of the hand and of vixias she looked directly into her cute and adorable red face. Not letting go right away, she moved the hands a little as if it was a spider and then went on: "So there I was facing down Sebastian..." Nisha´s face suddenly got serious, but she was still looking into vixi´s face and the smile was giving it away as well that she was not serious serious. "Sebastian was the name of the spider I gave it by the way, so Sebastian and me staring at each other and my two eyes into it´s seven, one having been scarred before by god knows what, maybe a former cleaning lady. And it was intense." Nisha´s stare grew intenser as she looked into vixi´s face that was close and then she suddenly let go of vixi´s hand and leaned back a bit more, shortening the distance even more as if she had just jumped into vixi, only seeing her beautiful eyes in front of her own now. "We clashed and oh, sadness, the battle was short lived, even though sebastian had taken the first hit quite well, the big evil took his life." Nisha waited a second for dramatic effect before going on with a mysterious voice, no jump scare this time, but just the end to a good story. "Gravity. I fell on sebastian and crushed him sadly enough. So ended the tale of the great hero sebastian and the demon lord Nisha." Grinning she sighed and tilted her head a little. "As for the unguarded part, I said, you seemed to be defenseless, not that you are. I think you are strong enough to walk out here, so I don´t think you are weak, no rather only the strong can get lost and smile in the end, right?" Nisha asked and smiled as bright as the sun if it was still here right into vixi´s face, hoping that and the funny ending would cheer her up a bit. Maybe the close quarters would even ellicit some reaction from her beyond meekness or some more true words. After all, what Nisha had said was true and she really thought so. Vixi seemed defenseless, but those did not get lost, they always had maps and such, also she was strong enough to say the truth even if she did not really want to and she had spoken up before, about other stuff, but she had spoken up and Nisha valued people who could do that since she herself had problems with it in more than one way. Also, weirdly enough she had the feeling that every time she told this story it got a little bit better or rather able to be told differently, as a great tale or like now to cheer someone up maybe. Or even if that failed the mark, she had a feeling it could work the next time, Sebastian definitely had been a hero and the only monster... or rather other being in this world that was either npc monster or neutral being that she had commited to memory. Unlike the adventurers she met, she usually forgot about anything else pretty quickly or buried it deep down in her memories, but this was different. It had been unique and weird enough to be interesting enough that even Nisha had been impressed by it. And that was by no means a small feat for things other than adventurers. Although she might add this spot to that small row of things she remembered to come back in summer and have a little swim with maybe vixi and some other people, after all, it was definitely a good spot for it and far enough from anything to be a real resort away from anything. Camping and sleep over sounded good too, even though she might plan for tents then to accomodate those who did not like trees or sleeping by the fire.
