On the beautiful coastline, a blue-haired, male, wolf-hair guardian sat on the beach with his zweihander at his side. He looked relaxed as he layed on his back with his eyes closed. He looked more relaxed then when he started the game. The skies were clear and sunny and the breeze felt nice and cool. His hair swayed in the wind and his cloak is also. There were many people on the beach as it were a nice day. He awoke to the sounds of people talking loudly and decided to move somewhere else to sleep. He discovered a shady tree, in which Magma decided to take a nap here. The shade felt very relaxing on Magma as he took it in. He kept his sword close, cause he couldn't trust other players. Laying there and thinking about seeing someone about teaching him how to play, he layed there almost lifeless. He thought about asking more experienced players on how to play The Elder Tales, but didn't know how to ask. He would feel awkward if he asked someone else, because he thought he would have to repay the person teaching him. Confused and tired he decided to sleep off these negative feelings. Klide awoke in the Savill flower grove at very early in the morning, and his first instincts left him standing with his feet planted firmly on the ground, surrounded by three dead boars. Klide dropped the bloody sticks in his hands. He walked around the grove for a bit, relaxing in the tall flowers, fighting the occasional slime or boar. he got tired just as the sun was at it's peak. Klide looked around at the Savill flower grove. There were a few adventurers scattered through out the fields of flowers, fighting the various mobs and sometimes even sparring against each other. Klide watched them for a few minutes before he yawned loudly, and decided to find a place to sleep. He walked to the forest line on the eastern edge of the grove, and found a branch above him which was thick enough to serve his purposes. Klide jumped up and grabbed hold of the branch. He then swung back and forth, before bending his arms and releasing the branch. his technique had llanded him on top of the branch right next to the one he'd grabbed hold of, and Klide lied down for a nap. When He awoke, Klide saw the sun was about to set. He had wasted most of his day napping, mostly because he hadn't slept for the past few days, but he was fortunate enough to see the sun a it neared the horizon. Some of the clouds were already turning orange and purple from the luminous orb's beautiful light. Klide climbed higher into the tree he was in, passing between branches, and jumping on others. He eventually found his way to the peak of the tree. He was now about 60 feet above the ground. Klide was lucky that this oak was so tall. He could see the sun clearly, because only a few of the oaks around here were taller, and none of them were in the way of the setting sun. Klide watched the sun's slow descent, grateful for the pretty song of the birds in the forest. When the sun disappeared beyond the hills on the horizon, Klide climbed down from the tall oak tree. He dropped back down to the ground, and ran back to town, to lazy and dirty to want to fight anything at the moment. When he got into town, Klide intermediately went to his favorite little food stall and ate some dinner. The kind man at the stall always gave Klide a little extra food, much to Klide's gratitude. Klide's next stop was an unusual, but appealing bathhouse he'd found. He scrubbed the blood, mud, twigs, and leaves out of his hair and clothes, and rinsed himself it their warm water. Then Klide left his clothes to dry while he relaxed a bit in the bath. Once they were dry, he left, thanking the owned for the bath, and heading out into the lively night time streets. Klide's final destination was a small inn he had stayed in before. He walked in and ordered a room, but they had none. Klide left a bit disappointing, but he had not slept in a real bed for a few weeks, maybe even a few months. He'd be alright without one. Klide walked toward the Thames coast, avoiding mobs when he could, and eventually, he reached the coast. there was a beautiful reflection of the moon on the waters surface. and Klide found a good tall tree to sleep in. When he awoke the next morning, there was someone sleeping against the same tree he was, directly beneath his branch. For a moment, Klide felt deja-vu from when this happened in a park in Londinium, and Klide had awoken to find Lavinia under his branch. Klide wrapped his legs around the branch and let himself slide over one of the sides of the branch. He dangled upside down just above the person. The person was male, and had blue hair, and a large sword which looked like a zweihander. Klide lifted the sword, but it was i bit too difficult to wield the sword upside down, so he put it back. He then reached up, and grabbed the branch with his hands. He let his legs slip off, and then dropped down silently in front of the person. Much to Klide's misfortune, he heard a sound to his right. He turned to see a Crag Cow walking out of the forest. "What is a crag cow doing all the way out here? They stay in mountains for the most part, don't they? that is why I have not seen many before." Klide though to himself. He looked at the Crag Cow with a bit of an unhappy expression. It was wary of his approach, but Klide had to take it out, if for some reason it became hostile, and he didn't kill it, it could attack the sleeping person, and even though Klide didn't know him, he had the feeling this was the right thing to do. He drew his katanas in silence, and charged the beast. The brown cow's immediate response was to charge at him. Klide crossed his swords over each other in a X shape, and planted his feet. When the large mammal connected with his swords, klide was pushed back a few inches, but two long, deep cuts formed in the Crag Cow's face. It stepped back in pain, and Klide noticed a bit of blood on one of it's long horns. He looked down to see a small wound in his arm. He jumped into the air above the Crag Cow's back, and trust both his blades down, embedding them into it's back. His right sword got stuck on a rib, so he released it. fortunately, he was left hand dominant, so Klide's abilities were not too impeded. He put his right hand under his left on the hilt, and swung down onto the cows neck, but missed, and the cow moved further out of the way. Klide swung again and again; over, under, left, right, diagonal, nothing worked, he felt himself getting distracted. Klide could usually handle something like this very quickly, so why couldn't he do it this time? Klide stopped his assault for a moment. He wiped the blood off his left sword, and sheathed it. Then he stood in silence, with his hands intertwined with themselves. though it was not a skill in Elder Tale, doing this made it easier to focus. Klide closed his eyes, listening to the water of the Thames behind him, the birds singing in the trees around him, and finally, hearing his own heart beat. Although he did not know how to explain it, Klide could also feel the Crag Cow's heart, which was beating slower than Klide's. Was he to excited about this fight? He slowed his breathing, focusing on keeping his heart beats more regular, and feeling more relaxed despite being in combat. Finally, Klide opened his eyes, and jumped over the Crag Cow's side, pulling his right katana from it's side as he passed over it's top. Klide slashed the blade across the Crag Cow's side as he turned around, and it opened a giant wound it the cow's side. He stabbed his sword into it's neck, and finished it by cutting down through it's throat. Klide apologized for being loud without looking at the person resting against the tree. Klide hoped he had not awakened him.

"I need a day to relax! Guild quest, grinding, searching for a home. So exhausting. Though it's true I have not been here long, still. I'm going to the coastline. The breeze should be calming." I think to myself, making my way. "It will probably be filled with people. Or creatures. Something, is gonna be there."
Getting close I smell the salty air, looking about I didn't see anyone. Finding a tree, he climb up into it. "Most people won't see me. Or won't bother me." I nod off quickly with the pleasant breeze.
I finally awake to sounds of battle. Looking over several trees away a player attacks a creature. Moments later the victory over the beast. Then the play look at the base of a tree. I look to see another player. Only a little bit to far did I go to get the glance. The branch snaps, and I tumble down. Catching another branch right before I smash into the ground.
"Close one, I shouldn't have chanced a look." I sigh to myself before letting go. I look over where the player attack the creature, slowly I walk that way. Looking at where the other person rest, I see them still sleeping. "A guardian by the looks of it, and him." I think eyeing the other player. "A Swashbuckler, I wonder if they are grouped." I wave to the swashbuckler. Then with a question on my face I point at the sleeping guardian. "What is gonna happen today?"

WE'LL CROSS THROUGH ALL THESE NIGHTS WE'LL CROSS THROUGH ALL THESE NIGHTS Ever since she had spotted the lovely beaches by the Thames during her short adventure with Hiro, Charuen had been dying to visit the sandy frontiers that bordered the famous river. Training had kept her busy, but with puffy white clouds set against a bright blue sky, and temperature that was reminiscent of late summer, the pink haired adventurer couldn't help but take the day off to explore the outskirts of the city and see what they had to offer. As she navigated through the narrow streets of Londinium, the young woman admired the overgrowth that had taken over familiar buildings and monuments (She had grown up in London after all). It always fascinated her, how the world of Elder Tale could feel so familiar, yet so alien at the same time. Eventually Charuen found herself walking along the Thames, with the coastline being the destination in mind. Unlike London in the real world, Londinium of Elder Tale lacked all the hustle and bustle of tourists running around snapping shots of iconic locations, and men in swanky suits and briefcases in hand, waving down taxis to ferry them to their next meeting.
The adventurer eventually reached the Thames coastline, and a smile graced the pinkette's lips as she breathed in a lungful of salty ocean air. It was early afternoon, and the sun had just passed its zenith. Slipping off her shoes, Charuen then proceeded to step onto the sand, and the smile on her lips widened into a goofy grin as she felt the bits of ocean run through her toes. A warm breeze picked up, and Charuen's locks of long pink hair blew in the wind as she admired the islands that dotted the horizon. Despite having only just arrived, the cleric was already in love with the place. Perhaps it was because of the lack of buildings in either place, but the Thames Coastline seemed like one of the few locations that seemed to perfectly resemble its real world counterpart.
As the young woman walked along the waterfront with her shoes in one hand and her staff in the other, she found herself enter a state of calm. The sound of the water rushing to kiss the sand lulled her into a trance, and Charuen eventually found herself walking to the rhythm of the ocean waves. However, the tranquility in her heart and mind was shattered as the sound of a beast roaring in pain reached her ears. Her head snapped up (She had been looking down at the sand, and the way they pressed down as a result of her footsteps.) and her eyes searched frantically for the source of the commotion. They eventually settled upon a young man with his blades drawn and facing a monstrous looking cow. Charuen watched in both horror and awe as the adventurer sliced the cow's throat with the slash of his swords. However, her attention did not stay on the young man and the monster for long, but instead, drifted to another individual who sat leaning against a tree with his eyes closed.
The cleric's eyes widened at the sight, and her grip on her staff tightened. Noticing that the monster had been dealt with, Charuen then rushed over to the sleeping boy. She threw her shoes to the side and shook the adventurer slightly. It did not occur to her that the young man could have been sleeping -- in fact, the pinkette fully believed that he had passed out while fighting the cow from before, and thus, was ready to cast one of her healing spells on him. From the corner of her eye, she noticed another young man make his way towards them, but to him she paid no attention, at least not yet. Her first priority was to make sure the blue haired adventurer in front of her was safe and healthy.

Magma awoke to the sounds of fighting and Charuen's yelling. He jumped and his first instinct was to grab his sword and draw it. Upon drawing the sword, he noticed it was just a girl who was a cleric and wanted to see if Magma was alright. Magma sheathed the sword and continued to lay down. "Please.......don't scream in my ear when I am sleeping." Magma slung the zweihander over his shoulder while deciding on another place to sleep.
"By the way, my name is Magma, what's yours?"
When the three told Magma their names, he would have a question to ask. Magma wanted the three to follow him and help him play the game. Magma was thrown in the game, without any knowledge of it. All he knew was how to attack an enemy, but he also knew it would take more than simple attacks to survive in this world.
"May I ask you three, if you can help me play the game, all I know is how to do simple attacks."

Klide had just finished off the beast, and suddenly he was surrounded by people. Some random adventurer had fallen out of a tree, another lay on the ground, he had been asleep when Klide started his fight but was now fully awake. Thirdly was a young cleric who had run barefoot to the sleeping adventurers side. Klide almost felt like this was an ambush, except that if someone wanted to ambush a level 19 player, they would not do it with three level one players. Klide had no trouble overhearing the name of the adventurer who'd been sleeping, given that he shouted it once he woke to the clerics words. His name was Magma. He carried a large zweihander on his back, and his instincts did not seem too bad, since his first one was to draw it when he was awakened. The one named Magma had a semi-masculine physique, and he looked a bit older than Klide, though he was also a little bit shorter. He had short blue hair and a golden ring around his neck. The cleric at his side also looked older. She was pretty, with long hair that cascaded down to her mid-section. The cleric did not have an excess of muscle, no bulging biceps or well defined six-pack, but she was thin and had long legs. Klide turned again to see the other adventurer, who had been coming from the tree he had fallen from. He was thin in a masculine way. He had shoulder length blue hair, and was about six feet tall. Suddenly, the one named Magma asked if the other three could help him play the game, since he only new basic attacks. Klide was not sure he liked that question. In his opinion, this was not a game. It was just as real as the life he'd led before entering this world, just with new rules. He looked in Magma's direction, and spoke thus. "Mister Magma, I am not sure i know what you mean. I know of no games in Elder Tale. If you are referring to Elder Tale itself as a game, I must respectfully disagree. To me, a game is something you have either on your table or in a mechanical system, which you can enter or exit as you please. This is not like that. This is like the life you led before the Catastrophe, accept that you can't die now. Personally, I feel more alive here than I ever did on the other side." With that, Klide began to walk away. He was still shy in social situations, and preferred to avoid them if they were not necessary or with someone he had already become close to. A lot had changed since the beginning. He had started as a lowly little swashbuckler who had no idea what he was doing, who was cold towards nice people, and who almost never spoke when questioned. Now he could carry a conversation, but still prefered not to. Klide was now at the forests edge, but he realized something suddenly. He was acting like a complete ass, completely ignoring the lower level adventurer's request for help. Klide turned again to face him. "I will help you learn. But learning will take time, energy, and determination. Are you willing to give up luxury to learn? I can not promise i will be the best teacher, but I will try my hardest if you will. That goes for all three of you. Though I may not be in your class specifically Miss Cleric, Mister Guardian or you, Mister Samurai..." Klide looked at all three people as he uttered the name of their class. "I have experience with all of your classes from past battles. I know the basics of where you should be in a fight, just remember that if you want to survive, you'll have to try to learn most things on your own. I am but a teacher, who guides you along the path to the doors of success, but it is through your hard work and determination that they with open." With that, Klide fell silent. He walked a bit deeper into the forest and brought out a hand full of sticks and logs of various sizes, then he placed them on the ground and sat next to them.

"KNOW THAT I'M ALREADY HOME" "Meep!"Charuen let out a small squeal as the boy resting against the tree made sudden movement by drawing his sword. Not expecting him to suddenly wake up, the cleric fell back, her bum landing on the soft sand. Her face flushed with embarrassment as the young man spoke up and requested that she stop screaming in his ear while he slept. There she was, jumping to conclusions again! The boy had not been injured, rather he had only been sleeping. Moreover, she was the one to wake him up from his peaceful slumber with her loud voice. The pinkette pursed her lips into a thin line, clearly troubled by her own actions. "Oh, I'm so sorry..." She said, sounding clearly deflated. The young man's next words caught Charuen by surprise. It was quite comforting to know that he was kind (and polite) enough to ask for her name despite her recent actions. The healer smiled at the younger adventurer, who had introduced himself as Magma. "Hello, my name is Charuen. It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance." She looked at him with an amused expression on her face. The boy had bright blue hair -- a sight that was as uncommon, perhaps even more uncommon, than her pink hair (A surprising amount of females in Elder Tale sported pink hair). He seemed to be a couple years younger than herself, although she was not quite sure for she had never been a good judge when it came to such things. Magma Hirimito's question caught her by surprise, albeit in a pleasant way. Although the first couple of months in the Unfounded Kingdom had been rather rough for her due to some rather unfortunate circumstances beyond her control , the numerous mentors who had reached out to help her had made learning the ropes of the game that much better. Joining a guild had also lead to her meeting many other adventurers, all with their own knowledge and experiences share. Now that she was (somewhat) more experienced with the game, she wanted to pay it forward and help the new player. However, just as the she opened her mouth to answer the guardian's request, the other adventurer, who had introduced himself as Klide, spoke up. Charuen listened to the swashbuckler's words carefully, and found herself deep in thought after hearing them. @blazeedge's small monologue had struck a nerve in her. The healer took a moment to consider her current mindset of the world of Elder Tale. While she did not consider herself to be playing a game any longer, she had not considered herself to be living a life either. She had always thought that it was somewhere in-between both ideas-- that she was stuck in a game, and not an alternate world. Brushing the sand off her dress, Char then proceed to stand up and look out towards the water. The surface glittered like diamonds as the rays from the noon sun shone down on the waves. The pink haired adventurer tilted her head slightly at the sight, and an expression of awe flashed across her face. The truth was, everything in the Unfounded Kingdom ... in the world she lived in, looked so real. Perhaps it was just like what that Swashbuckler had said. Perhaps, it wasn't a game. Her train of thought was broken when Klide spoke up once more, commenting on how he knew some things about their classes. A smile graced the half-alv's features as he heard his words. While she would love to teach Magma the ways of Elder Tale, she would also love to learn more about her class, the clerics, as well. "Thank you for taking your time to help us, Mr.Klide." She began. Hearing the higher leveled player call Magma "Master" reminded Charuen that just like the real world, it was important to address strangers and aqquaintances formally. "So when do we start?" Magma sheathed his sword and got up and rubbed his eyes. He made sure his hair was fixed so he didn't look like trash. "I am ready when you guys are and also it's fine, you don't have to apologize." Magma then throws his weapon over his shoulder and sticks his hand out to shake Charuen's and Kilde's hand. "Anyways nice to meet you two." Magma started to walk towards some monsters and signaled for the two to follow him. As he walked he could hear twigs crunch from under his feet. In the area there were many boars to train on. "We could train here if you wanted." The boars were snorting in the direction of the adventurers, but it did not seem like they were hostile. "First I need to learn about skills, I saw people use them, but I don't know how to." He drew his sword and got prepared for 1 on 1 melee combat. He drew his zweihander and sunlight reflected off of it and hit a boar in the eye, although it didn't act like anything was happening. The boar kept grazing on some green grass. Magma waited for Charuen and Klide to start helping. Magma held his sword over his shoulder and waited (and looked pretty cool to me). Magma already understood the classes and their roles, but didn't understand why he had to work with others, he knew what he was getting into while playing this game, but never expected to be living in Elder Tales. To Magma, this was nothing, he would rather be here than in reality.

A girl who had not been that far away ran up to the sleeping guardian. "I actually didn't notice her for some reason, maybe falling out of the tree or the swashbuckler fighting that creature had created that much of a distraction." I ponder this while taking a step away from the guardian and healer. As he awakens the sword nearby starts to be drawn, as he realizes the situation the sword returns to it's sheath.
"Please... Don't scream in my ear when I am sleeping." The sleepy man says to the worried girl. "Oh, I'm so sorry..." She replies to him. Then the guardian gets up, looking around. "By the way, my name is Magma, whats yours?" He directs to no one really. "Hello, my name is Charuen. It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance." "May I also ask you three, if you can help me play the game, all I know is how to do simple attacks."
"Someone who barely know how to act. This isn't necessarily a game anymore. Still I'd like to help him." My thoughts began try to suggest how to. Though before a word left my mouth, the swashbuckler spoke up.
"Mister Magma, I am not sure I know what you mean. I know no games in Elder Tale. If you are referring to Elder Tale itself as a game, I must respectfully disagree. "Hmm, well spoken there. I shall assist, though I don't particularity need help, but working with different people will be good and fun." I think to myself.
"Thank you for taking your time to help us, Mr. Klide." Charuen giggles to herself. "Magma, I would love to aid you as well, if possible." "So when do we start?"
"I am ready when you guys are and also it's fine, you don't have to apologize." Magma get's up and moves to shake their hands. "Anyways nice to meet you two."
Then he walks towards the forest. "We could train here if you wanted." He pauses as the boars snort in his direction. "First I need to learn about skills, I saw people use them, but I don't know how to."
"Hmm, I guess it's time to grind our bones with training." I draw my weapon and hold it in my left hand with a slightly lazy stance. "I'm Zedahael, I don't necessarily need assistance. Klide listened as the man who introduced himself as Zedahael spoke. He seemed to know what he was doing, so Klide was not worried about him and the young, ambitious Guardian as they walked toward the boars. "Master Samurai! Would you mind teaching him the basics of activating skills? If Miss Charuen needs your help as well, please do help her as well. Those boars are about level 3 and 4, so do not engage more than one at a time, I would not want any of you getting hurt or dying so early in training." When he finished talking to the Samurai, he turned towards the young lady. "Miss Charuen, If you need help with the basics feel free to join the two others by the boars, A Cleric could never hurt, especially around other level ones." Klide gave a light smile as he spoke to the girl. "If you do not want to join them, your more then welcome to join me, though I am just starting a basic training ground for the others." Klide gave another smile and then turned away from the men and young lady, and took the sharpest stick he could find in the pile he had made earlier. He began repeatedly stabbing the ground in small circles, each a short distance apart. After he was done softening the stiff dirt circles up, he picked up a new stick, one which was much flatter, and resembled a spade. He scooped the dirt from all of the holes, and tossed the spade like stick to the side, next to the sharp stick he had used earlier. Then, he began lifting the logs he had brought, he only had two in the pile, because they were all quite big, and heavy. Fortunately though, there were more in the forest near by, and he could easily get them. He lifted the first of the two logs and turned it vertically, stabbing the sharper end into the small he had dug. He repeated the process with the other log, and them walked off into the forest. He made about a dozen round trips, each time returning with 2 or three large logs. He repeatedly stabbed the logs into the holes he had dug, wiping his brow as sweat collected on his forehead and returning to his work shortly after each break, until there were thirty two logs sticking out from the ground, the closest were about a two thirds of a meter apart, so it was not the widest area, but good for the purpose it was meant to serve. The logs were all about the same length, so the top was relatively flat, though they were all also sticking about two and a half meters out of the ground. Klide jumped up and grabbed the brim of one of the thickest logs, springing on top of it, and sitting cross-legged on top, waiting for the others to come back from their boar fights. If Charuen had stayed behind with him, Klide would now ask her if she needed anything, and where she had come from before she came running to help Magma.
