Thunderous sounds echoed from beneath the steeds feet as it blessed the surface of the earth with it’s grace. Pounding hooves struck against the murky path through the wicked forest of the swamplands. The surrounding territories seemed frightfully eerie as sinuous shadows danced in the thickness of the woods. The solace of the gleaming moonlight was the only thing that brought the warrioress any sense of security as it meagerly lit her path allowing for a dim few of the forest. Gripping the reins loosely she allowed Icarus to have free reign over their journey as the gallant white war horse weaved through the woods and his hooves tapped on the ground before he came unto a path leading to a large swamp that blocked the path of their destination.
Saskia cut her sharp sapphire gems at the surface of the omnious green lake, sniffing roughly as she saw it boiling with bubbles and cracked the reins at Icarus, beckoning him onward. The horse reluctantly traversed the shallow swamp in response to his master’s will. The magnificent colt was a obedient animal and very diligent in the multiple services that it brought to the cotton candy haired wolf hair. It had been raised out of it’s cowardly shell from when it was but a mere shire. The battle hardened beast was bred for combat. The war horse was Saskia’s most valuable asset and companion and had already endured countless grueling battles.
With a heavy heart, the warrior and her horse emerged from the depths of the waters and came across a long dirt path leading on the way to the Windsor greatwood. The filthy water washed off the beast and began to drip on the ragged patch of earth below as shady [Possessed Stumps] howled with wicked cries and shady shadows scurried through the forest in the corner of the pale skinned adventurer’s field of vision. Her eyes dilated trying to absorb the lighting and focus intently at her surroundings as she heard the sharp rustling of the bushes. As the horse trotted at a steady gait, her great shield that was strapped to her back began to clank against her metal armor. Also adorned across her spine was a long blue spear that was embroidered in a vibrant gold design near the tip.
Her eyes sniffed roughly as she approached the foreign territory and saw a flickering flame in the distance and smoke rising from the shadows. It seemed that she had the ill misfortune of a goblin encampment that blocked off her path to the greatwoods and if she would like to proceed she would have to dispatch them quickly. Such a task would not be much trouble for Saskia, as the group of goblins were only between the levels of one and five. She had counted them. There were five. Three were level four and the other two were level two. All of which had different shades of skin, ranging from hues of blue and green. Saskia slowly began to withdraw her great shield and long spear in her efforts to prepare for battle. Unaware of the presence of another....
"Alright, Icarus...let's clean these guys up and head for the town of Blackwood."

Raef Was having a bad day, if not a bad life, first he wakes up to find himself in the body in his gaming character. It wouldn't be all that bad as he had somehow regained his left eye but he also got a tail, fox ears and a darn sensitive nose. In confusion and overly sensitive sense he had swiftly left the town, too uneasy with the new smells and the large groups in the town. Raef had spent most of the day trying to regain his sense of balance every time he fell over roots. And then after a few hours of stumbling then he just wander around a bit, too uneasy with the town and its large groups. And now he has found himself lost in a forest unsure which path leads back to the town. And to tip it off he had unwittingly stumbled through the undergrowth of the forest and out into the open space of a path or small road were a camp of goblins could be seen gathered around a fire place. Swearing in his head the Foxtail Summoner stepped back behind the wooden lines and knew that he wasn't going to be able to evade the goblins' attention for too long.
He had to act now or he would be taken out by the goblins before even having a chance to defend himself and he was not keen on finding out what it felt like to be resurrected. Grasping his staff he aimed it at one of the rocks one of the goblins was sitting on and leaned into the side of the tree to get as much cover as possible before suddenly his body enacted the inbuilt reflexes and body memories needed to cast the spell he was about to preform.
A green glow emerged from the tip of his wooden staff as he began to chant softly to himself, a mystic echo following his words. "Oh Enduring Spirit of Earth, Rise and Defend Your Caller." A green pentagram emerged from the tip of his staff and then the rock the goblin was sitting on suddenly shattered outwards into a swarm of gravel and rocks, spiralling around like falling snow before linking together to form a 1 meter tall but bulky humanoid of stone.
The small stone golem raised its thick stone arms in a defensive stance against the goblins before suddenly punching the goblin that had been sitting on the rock that it was made of, to take out the weaker goblins as ordered by Raef's mental command. *Kill the weak ones first.* With the suddenly appearing stone formed being pummelling their fellow goblin were the goblins a bit too shocked to react at first but by the sudden change the formerly sitting rock had taken from posterior resting place to goblin pounding golem, just as Raef hoped as he knew he would need surprise on his side to win this fight.
*They will react in a few seconds, hopefully this surprise gave me the time needed to prepare my next spell.* Raef thought to himself from his spot by the tree, he was feeling drained already as his mana fell just by summoning and maintaining the golem, hopefully it would last long enough for the fight to end in his favour, he hoped.

Icarus whined in response to his masters words. Not out of defiance, but rather in agreement as the two acted as one. Icarus flared out his nose and bobbed his head sensing the presence of another. A gift of perception that Saskia was blessed with, being a wolf hair. It was a rather masculine aroma that drifted through the air. Saskia recalled that the smell had a distinct separation from those of the goblin horde that lied before her. At first instinct, she had assumed the worst, that she had encountered a player killer assassin, lurking, hidden deep within the shroud. She held back on her advancement into the enemy territory as she wielded her long spear and looked frantically about the dark forest. Because of the shroud of the pitch black woods, she could barely make own anything visible from the lower underbrush of the trees.
Her eyes canned around the territory as she tried to track down the source. Her horse released a disturbing whine as she shushed it and held up her heavy great shield in defiance of any opposition that would try to thwart her defenses.
Her cool sapphire eyes that gleamed like the washing waves of an ocean caught it. A vibrant green luminescent lighting emerging from the trees. Her body tensed, feeling as if she had become under attack. She heard the loud echo resonate through the forest in an eerie and mystical manner. She bit her lip nervously as Icarus backed away from the creepy voice. Saskia tilted her her to the side and gazed curiously as the ground swiveled up into the form of a golem that was more than half her height. It looked very sturdy however, but what concerned Saskia most was if it was meant for her, or the goblin horde across the dirt path.
Her eyes gleamed as the beast enetered a humanoid blockade stance and the summoner ordered it to kill multiple targets. Saskia breathed a sigh of relief as the golem began to tower onward towards the goblin horde at the silent will of it’s master.
Saskia glanced up into the tree to find the man still sitting there, not joining in the fight with his comrade. She felt a bit weird about that fact. It was unlike her and Icarus, who often fought their battles beside one another. It was as if the golem were a mere tool or pawn in the man’s chess set.
Curiously, she decided to trek forward.
“I want to meet him...” The pink haired warrioress stated to Icarus as her slender fingers held the reins loosely. The horse obeyed and trotted forward at a slow and steady gait, until she was beside the man to his lower left.
Looking up and removing the pink strands of her hair that blocked her field of view.
“Well, this is a rarity. We don’t usually see too many summoners around these parts. Well, that’s probably more likely because they tend to be the most proficient soloers in the game. "
“But how about you? Are you looking for a party by any chance to do a bit of leveling? I might be able to to assist. “ She smiled gracefully.
“Name’s Saskia Steelheart by the way. And well, I never really got to watch aSummoner in action. Always wanted to though.”

Raef looked up from his spot behind the trees, he knew he would have to cast the spell soon or the moment of surprise would be lost. Thegolem had already killed the first of the weaker goblins and was now beating up the second, but the other three were now trying to kill the golem by striking at its rock skin with their crude weapons, doing little damage but it was building up swiftly. Then a voice spoke up from a few feet away and he turned startled around the tree, keeping a grasp on his staff, his squinting eyes looking at the woman who had suddenly appeared seemingly out of nowhere, on a horse.
Had he really been that busy focusing on the progress of the battle that he couldn't have noticed a freaking horse and riding approach him!? Giving the stranger's non-hostile tone though he could assume that she wasn't intending harm upon him and the opportunity to be part of a party was always preferred for new summoners. Raef let an uneasy smile spread across his lips and he responded in a voice with a german accent.
"My name is Raef Schwa- erm sorry Raef Blackwood. And yes I wouldn't mind being part of a party. I am a bit lost. Just wait a few seconds I need to do something to end this fight before the goblins overrun my golem" Turning toward the battle he could see the golem and it was heavily damage, but it was down to three goblins now as it was trying to strangle one of the stronger goblins with its gravel constructed fingers.
Aiming his staff carefully he visualized the trajectory of the attack he would preform and with a silent order to his golem it moved slightly to the side and then he chanted out in a mystical dialect once more. His voice carried itself across the open air and would have been noticed by the enemies had not the goblins been too busy trying to turn his rocky summon into gravel.
A eerie amber coloured glow surrounded the summoner, his cloth armour flapping in the wind as the arcane power within him was brought to the surface. The golem's own cracked exterior began to glow with the same kind of glow as its summoner began to empower it. "Oh Summoned Protector. Show them the true strength of the Earth! Guardian Fist!" A sudden energy field surrounded the Golem and with a sudden right cross it punched the mid section of one of the healthy goblins, causing it to double over before crashing into the second uninjured goblin before finally striking the near dead goblin. The strength of the blow killed the first, heavily injured the second and killed the already injured, leaving a single goblin behind who was made swift work of by the Golem.
Taking a deep breathe Raef looked around and upon seeing no more goblins he let his summon collapse into the element it had been conjured from. "Oh Spirit of Earth, Your aid has been Great and your Conjurer Thank You. Rest once more." The golem's already cracked form shattered into a fine pile of gravel and Raef let out a deep breathe before sitting down on the grass by the tree, his forehead a bit sweaty. "That was... way more exhausting then I figured it would be." He murmured to himself as he tried to recover from the drainage upon his energy, recovering his mp. *I will just sit down for a bit, yeah, I can recover the loot of those goblins later. But right now I need a breather.*

Saskia would have chuckled innocently as she took a gander at the man nervously bumbling about as he seemed to flail about in the rich canopy of the tree that loomed overhead. He didn’t seem to be exactly too perceptive of her. Perhaps he had developed a streaming tunnel vision as he zeroed in on the details of the fight he was having with the goblin horde that Saskia was about to pick off. She smirked confidently as he smiled in a unsettled manner. Saskia try to potray herself as sweetly and nonaggressive as possible as not to get a fiery spell to the face for catching him off guard. After all, she couldn’t afford to have her flourescent pink hair singed at the edges or to have fresh bald spots simply because of an inconvenience during greetings.
Her jaw dropped in glee as she heard his thick german accent. It was so familiar to her and made her giggle with excitement. She was bursting with a web of delightful stories to tell him, but she simply waited patiently and admired how he gallantly commanded the maelstrom of earth at his hill to do his bidding. It was a marvelous show. Splendid in design and simpy captivating as it seemed like during the whole opposition he had not sustained any damage at all. But she soon noticed that this method of combat came at a heavy price during the early levels. The consumption of mana was far too high to be held over prolong periods of time. In this phase, you had to get in and out of battle as quickly as possible.
She waited until his rested before speaking.
“I’m sorry sweetheart...but that loot is coming home with me~” Saskia teased in a joking manner.
“I’m just messing. It’s all yours. You deserve your spoils of war.” Saskia smiled as she commended the summoner on his efforts.
She tapped on her cheek for a few moments.
“That accent of yours is pretty cute. I love german accents. You know my boyfriend actually is from Germany. He helps me lead the guild of the Vylbrand Academy of Tactics, Mystics, and Trade. He’s a pretty damn good mechanic. I guess that’s German engineering for you. He’s been wanting to work on a project making boats for the guild, but he can’t seem to find any woodcrafters. ‘Tis a shame...he might have paid handsomely. We also were looking at getting furniture for our home in the housing district in Londiminium. New place is a bit empty. We wanted to get some chairs and a dining table and the like. Definitely need a bed. One of our guildmates is already making the sheets. What a wonderful tailor he is.He also made me and my boyfriend, Bailin a suit and dress for the Snowdonia Winter Ball that just passed a few months ago, back in December. ”
Saskia smiled gently as she seemed to have ran her mouth a mile a minute. She paused, giving him a brief moment to respond between her intervals.
“I see you command your earth spirit rather well and I like the voice acting. It’s pretty humrous. Do you roleplay too? Or is it just second nature to you? Seems like something out of a comic con." Saskia snorted.
“ And yeah, I guess having to focus all that energy can be draining. You get caught up in a prolonged fight and you’re out of there. But that’s where sturdy tanks like me come into play. Of course, you seem to have your own. But perhaps you’d like to learn how to effectively use him in a coordinated assault? Sooner or later you’re going to have to learn how to fill multiple roles in parties whenever you go about raids. One of the things we can go over is aggro manipulation with your partner while you fight alongside tanks. “
Saskia smiled gently.
“I tend to enjoy teaching people a lot. You seem to know how to handle the basics of the interface, so I won’t waste time boring you with that. Aggro management however, ifs slightly different than what I guess your typical MMO is like, as this is more realistic and you got to learn how to swim despite the pressure. I try to teach a lot of the cadets that. Those that exceed actually form grand fireteams and work as a synergized unit. That’s what teamwork is all about. Working together as a cohesive unit. It’s like how you work in tandem with your summon, and my partnership with my horse, Icarus. You can kind of say he is like my own personal summon." Saskia smiled. “I love animals. They are such wonderful creatures.”
"Sorry if I'm talking your ear off...I can be quite a bit of a chatterbox." She ran her fingers through her pink strands of hair in an embarassed fashion. "It's a pleasure to meet you Raef Blackwood."

Summoner - Animal Handler - Woodcrafter
____________________________________________________
Raef felt a bit overwhelmed by the strange woman's openess and cheery voice, the fact that she was talking about her boyfriend, woodcrafting and aggro strategies was a bit like those bubbly girls from his high school, only more intelligent.
He blinked slowly as she finished talking, having stayed quiet the entire time, just recovering his energy from the earlier encounter. Speaking of which he would have to loot the bodies and hopefully find something of use except for gold, you never know if you can find something useful from low tier monsters.
But back to the conversation at hand. "Well... though I am of German heritage was I born in Sweden, but my German mother gave me my accent as she taught me how to read and write in both German, Swedish and English. I am a Woodcrafter... and an Animal Handler, as my subclasses. I just recently made this character before I found myself here and I haven't even had time to level up any of my classes yet. And... I haven't gotten used to this new body yet, not just the fact that I have a new sense of balance." The Foxtail absent-mindedly rubbed his left eye, were the jagged zigzag like scar ran down his face, still uneasy about the sensation of having a left eye again. With the fact that his left eye was a miscoloured solid red eyeball with a black pupil made it even more uneasy.
Shaking his head clear he stood up from his spot on the grass and walked over to the piles on the grass and gathered the amounted loot from the goblins. After pocketing everything he turned towards her and spoke up in a less uneasy voice, he felt a bit less uneasy after her friendly, even if a bit blabbering, conversation. "You mentioned joining a party together earlier right? Well I wouldn't mind it as I prefer not to find out what it feels like to be resurrected in the Cathedral. And also, thanks Lady Saskia, no one has called my accent cute before." The Summoner then waited patiently for her response, hoping to gain a Party Invitation, it would be fun to get some experience with another person who didn't discriminate. But he had no illusion about there not being some players giving no seconds thoughts of killing him should he be careless in whom he trusted, but this Saskia seemed to be a good person and it would be foolish of him to distrust the first person to speak non-threatening to him since his awakening in Elder Tales.

The man seemed ragged. Worn down. Tired. Just tired. The slow beating of his eyelashes spelled out just how weary he was after the battle. It seemed as if the young foxtail barely had the strength to talk, let alone her the wolf hair’s wave of speech.
His thick German accent sounded as smooth as honey to Saskia’s ears as the felt the phantom of Bailin’s presence around her which made her feel happy and blissfully serene as she listened to the Fox tail speak.
He spoke of his native land. The nation of Sweden. Saskia remembered them for the infamous swiss bank accounts. Or was that switzerland? Saskia twisted her lips in uncertainty, though she guessed she probably meant switzerland as it sounded more probable.
Fascination glowed in her eyes as she heard that the man not only commanded two languages, but a third as well. Whoever he was, he seemed very intelligent to Saskia. At least that was the first impression she got of him. Her wolf hair ears twitched as they resonated to the sound of his subclasses that he had selected as he made his character.
He confessed to being fresh to this world, which meant more and more players from the outside were plunging their lives into doom. Saskia frowned lightly at the thought as she wondered if the man had had any realization of what he had gotten himself into.
However, there were certain perks to his arrival as now Saskia had a new contact for a woodcrafter if the man was diligent enough to polish his skills. She also could possibly use Icarus to help him hone his Animal training talents as well. Though she wondered if he actually had a love for animals or if they were only pawns to him.
As he rubbed his left eye, Saskia gazed curiously as the gash across it, wondering if he had suffered a wound that irritated him. As her eyes fell upon his health bar, she noticed that he was in top condition, so possibly it was just a design.
For some reason or other, there was the occasional character that thought scars looked cool or added depth to the character they created and Saskia could understand that as her boyfriend Bailin constantly wore a patch over his eye like some salty sea pirate.
Her mind began to wander to the times they traveled the seas to the isle of Thule to plunder the Graveyard of Ships together alongside the Samurai, Luiniel. She smirked as she blinked.
She realized in that moment that the man held two eyes that differentiated in color, thus increasing the uniqueness of his facial features by a large margin. It would be very hard to forget a face like that.
Watching him leave to pilfer the loot he scored of the bodies of his fallen enemies, she decided to lead Icarus over towards him. He seemed to be calming down quite a bit and it appeared as if he was less nervous about her presence.
He reminded her of her offer to form a party and approved of the concept as he didn’t want to suffer the misfortune of dying.
A smile bloomed upon the edges of her face as he thanked her for her compliment.
“Yeah, sounds good. And I’d hate for you to pay a visit to the Cathedral as well. It’s a long walk to get back here!” Saskia chuckled.
She pulsed out a hand and an inticate web of various statistics and data appeared in the form of a transparent interface menu. She waved a hand over him and selected him as a target and sent a party invite to him.
She also made sure to adjust her level down to four so they would not receive any exp penalties while engaging in combat.
“Won’t have as many flashy skills, but we’ll be able to get you a lot more powerleveling going this way.” Saskia chuckled.
“Come on. I know a good quest around here that should get you a lot of quick levels in no time.” Saskia smiled as she trotted over to the northeast.
As she waited for him to follow, she reached into her satchel and unraveled a scroll.
“I usually keep these mission orders for a few of my friends when they are doing beginner level quests. They are missions that we get contracted by the town. This one has a pretty nice payout of a thousand gold if you complete it. All we have to do is clear out a mine for the Dwarfs so they can get back to working.”
Saskia canted over towards the opening of a small cavern as the wind from outside blew over her.
“I take it you probably don’t have that mage light spell, huh?” She inquired. “ Well, either way. Let me take lead. I’ll have to leave Icarus behind as these areas are too nasty to bring a horse in. There’s so many confined spaces.” She stated as she dismounted from her horse and manually scanned through her menu, equipping her Steel sword.
“Basically let me take the bulk of the aggro. If my health drops below seventy percent, then if your summon has an aggro skill, use it to take off some of the pressure off me. I got a heal spell just in case, so I can keep us in the fight if things go wrong.”
She stated.
“Try not to make too much noise as keep your movements to a crouch. Some mobs are triggered by sound as they detect things with hearing.”
She withdrew her heavy great shield from her back as slowly began to enter the mines.
“Oh, and watch out for traps.” She finlly whispered.

Summoner - Animal Handler - Woodcrafter
____________________________________________________
Raef found the invitation for a party blur into appearance in front of him, pressing accept on the holographic interface he found himself partied with the other player. She told him about the quest from the dwarves, he knew there were goblins around the area, they were among the most common mobs in the entire game for starter quests and general areas.
His mp had recovered entirely from the earlier fight, he would be able to summon his servant at full strength once more but hopefully it wouldn't have to come to that just yet. Soon enough they reached the cavern entrance to the dwarven mine, the nearby houses were abandoned it seemed and there was a sign left at the entrance of the mine stating, "Caution: Goblin Infestation. Work is Cancelled Until Mine is Cleared." It was rather straight forward and explained why there were no miners around.
Gripping his staff Raef listened to Saskia's words, though he knew the basics of the game was he still inexperienced when it came to Summoners. So he took the more powerful player's advice very seriously. Looking ahead into the darkness he seriously wished that the Foxtail race had been granted night vision instead of a randomized skill change. But he could do nothing more then to follow, it would be good experience for him to get used in using the powers of his new body.
As they walked through the dark tunnels he kept silent, his eyes darting from corner to corner while preparing himself for the chance of an ambush. After a few minutes they came upon a crossroad in the mine, unlit torches laid across the wall and Raef got an idea. "I think I can make a lit torch." Grasping two unlit torches and a sharp stone he carved the tip of one of the torches into a sharp end before grinding the pointy end against the oil or tar covered cloth tip of the torch. The pointy end penetrating through the cloth and into the wood.
With rapid friction the wood heated up and then suddenly a small trail of smoke began to trail from the torch and then slowly but surely a fire began to grow from the torch. Tossing aside the carved torch Raef grabbed the handle of the unlit torch and blew into it and soon enough was the darkness of the tunnel was lit up by the now burning torch. It wasn't much but it was way better then the light they had before.
Pressing the fire of the torch against the unlit torches on the tunnel Raef began to lit up the tunnel, constantly keeping his eyes peeled for danger. "I can light the torches on the walls as we go through the tunnels, thus we get a better light and if a fight breaks out I can just toss aside the torch to fight, then grab a lit one from the wall afterwards." Giving his explanation for his sudden usage of woodcraft for lighting a torch, Raef felt a bit more confident with himself as he had managed to light a torch with a crafting skill.

Saskia licked her lips in anticipation as they moved throughout the entrance to the mines. Her pink brows furrowed cautiously at Raef as she slowly proceeded behind her with his staff. He seemed to be just as uneasy about the situation as she was. Though the woman had a wealth of experience, she also believed in Murphy’s law: Anything that can go wrong, will go wrong. There were many times like this, where she, too, wished she had taken advantage of the utility skills offered to all the adventurers. Even as a Guardian, she had all but ignored the [Stepover] Tier I skill, that allowed her to negate and move over traps with ease.
Stupid.
She thought as she kicked herself for such a idiotic mistake. Saskia favored the more glorious combat skills.
Namely the ones that generated a bolstering defense or vicious counter attack. She even picked up a few of the delicious looking buffs that beefed up her stats with various boosts. The only skill she really ever bothered to take outside her class was the heal spell.
Her mind began to drift unto her companion as she wondered what other tools he might have or spells that he could render in battle. She had already bore witness to two of them, but she knew he had a third.
She glanced over at her interface menu as she saw the two icons that added the class bonuses that they would receive in battle. Their mana pool would be increased as well as their physical defense would be boosted by five percent. She always enjoyed being in parties. Especially since it meant an extra layer of defense for her while she worked.
Her wolf ears waved as she heard his voice suggest a well thought out plan.
“You can...?” Saskia asked as she twisted her lips in curiosity. “Well, if you could it would certainly be helpful. It’s already bad enough most creatures in the dark have night vision and get a boost to accuracy and damage in dark places. At least my class buff offsets that a bit, but still on paper, the ods are tipped in their favor. “ Saskia confessed as her loud iron greaves continued to strike against the surface.
She couldn’t help it. Being a heavily armored Guardian, finesse and stealth were not exactly her strong points as the metal ti can rattled through the cave.
She watched as he went through the task of creating the fire and lighting the torch and she beamed with a proud smile.
“Oh wow, I’m impressed. You got a clever spirit, don’t you Raef? You learn that back home?” Saskia asked with a grin. “I remember my father knew a lot about fishing, camping, and hunting and all that stuff. He was a bit of a boy scout when he was younger, he said.”
She mentioned subtle details of home rather casual with the man as she made efforts to bond and connect, hoping that maybe in time she would come to make a new friend.
“That’s a pretty brilliant plan. We’ll save it just in case. And it’s also good that we’ll know our way out if things get hairy, it sucks having to run in the dark.”
She muttered the word with a frown as she pressed onward, noticing the area was now far more illuminated.
As they continued inside the cave, they heard a loud hissing noise from up aheads.
Three venomous snakes slithered across the hall on their underbelly and progressed towards the duo.
“Shit, Raef....this isn’t good. These snakes...they’re poisonous. One bite and your health keeps dropping towards zero. “ She groaned with a stern voice. “And I didn’t bring any antidotes, did you?”
After he inevitable would gesture ‘no’, she would whisper under her breath.
“Shit.” She cursed. “Well, listen. We’re going to need your golem for this one. If it gets poisoned while taking aggro, I’m sure you can desummon him after the fight, then summon another one, right?”
She would gaze at him for confirmation then nod her head.
“Right. Well, you’re up at bat, don’t worry I got your back. As soon as you hit them, I’ll be right in there slicing and dicing!”

Raef tossed the torch forward, having lit the hallway they had been walking through would it be easy to obtain a fresh torch, plus with its fire in the open space ahead he got more sight of the room. It was spacious with four paths in a wall up ahead with piles of stone or ore lying against the side walls with several wheeled carts standing by the piles, covered in dust and cobwebs.
Raising his staff the Foxtail stopped squinting his eyes and revealed his frightening coloured left eye as a green glow surrounded his staff and began to spread out from his eyeballs. His voice echoed across the room as a green pentagram erupted from a pile of black rocks next to the entrance in the room.
"Oh Enduring Spirit of Earth, Rise and Defend Your Caller."
Parts of the pile scattered into the air and swarmed around in a small whirlwind of black stone before taking the shape of a small black golem, the appearance of its solid stone structure startled the snakes, giving Raef enough time to give the construct its orders. "Kill the snakes."
Without a pause the golem rushed forward and began to stomp its solid rock feet down on the snakes, crushing bone and flesh with its heavy stone weight. The snakes bit into the solid stone of the golem, wounding it very light, then a green sludge seemed to bleed out of one of the bite wounds and the Summoner could see the golem taking a 5% damage for each of its attacks. But luckily enough was the Golem's endurance and strength enough to quickly crush the three serpents before half of its HP had gone away.
"Rest oh Spirit of Earth."
The golem collapsed into rubble and Raef stretched his neck a little, that had been far easier then the earlier fight. But then against the snakes were low grade opponents who were meant to hinder or poison, highly effective status effects but low defense and HP. "Hopefully the noise didn't attract more of them." Grasping a new torch from the tunnel they had entered from he moved slowly into the room to loot the bodies, carefully watching the ground and walls for any sign of traps, none so far.
Pocketing the small gold pieces from the snakes Raef looked at the four paths. The first was blocked by a rockslide, the third was a dead end in just a few meters. While the fourth was a deep pit into a black abyss, possibly used for a primitive elevation system. "It seems the second path is the only one we can use."

Guardian - Cavalier - Brewer ____________________________________________________
Saskia watched him chuck the torch forward as some easily disposable tool as it danced across the surface of the ground, rolling forward towards the advancing snakes. The illumination from the bright light cast revelation to a grand chamber with a multiude of different paths.
Saskia marveled at the chunks of ore that protruded out of the walls and begun to think about how much money she should make in the marketplace if she harvested some of it. However, that would have to wait for later of course, as she had to focus her energy on the fight that was moments away from taking place.
She mapped out the terrain in her mind. She’d have to be mindful to manuveur around the various wooden carts while also being cautious not to trigger any traps that the goblins may have set up.
According to the quest, they had been infesting the mines for months, so this could very well be something that shouldn’t handle recklessly.
The Magi hoisted his long staff in the air and maliciously summoned the manifestation of his rock guardian from the bowls of the earth. It was a torrent whirlwind that swirled around in the mass of rocks and debris. The rocks stacked on top of each other like dominoes until they formed the solid behemoth that received it’s orders from the summoner.
The stone beast moved with great haste, cutting open a path for Saskia as she dashed alongside behind it and to the right, so that her shield arm may face the enemy. As the golem unleashed it’s vicious stomps upon the snake. Saskia could hear the crunching of their bones snapping as they squirmed.
The slithering reptiles bore sharp fangs of defiance at the stone golem as they sunk their teeth into the rocky formation. It was a pitiful sight as the towering beast seemed to be quite sturdy and able to handle the light damage they were producing. At least, that’s how it seemed until Saskia noticed the golem oozing a shiny green liquid. Was it...bleeding?
Saskia was unaware to the nature of summons and assumed this was a normal thing, since in essence, the rock formation was a living sentient being. Noticing that the golem had lost a fraction of its health bar, Saskia knew that she had to act quickly. She assisted the golem against she snakes by casting a heal spell on it to boost it’s survivability. After the short bout with the snakes, the golem emerged victorious.
“That was pretty impressive.” Saskia smiled. “And yes, I’m pretty sure that was their plan after all...”
Her eyes squinted down the hall as she walked beside him shortly after he snatched the torch down from the wall. She rested her sword on her shoulder as she waited for him to finsh looting the corpses before they corroded away into anima shards.
As he took his gold, Saskia noticed that there was a barrier of rocks blocking the one of the paths. The other led to an empty hall that held no meaningful destination, thus only giving them one option.
“Well, I guess our search starts here. Hopefully the roof doesn’t cave in on us.” Saskia stated as she looked at the rotting wood that held most of the infrastructure up.
As they continued to progress through the mines, Saskia neglected to discern that there was a very thin thread down below, barely visible to the naked eye.
It snapped and from in front of her came a spiked mace that was attached to a chain. Her eyes dilated as she jumped in front of Raef and raised her great shield.
The mace collided with her shield with a sharp intensity as the sound of colliding metal rang throughout the halls.
“Shit...I bet that just woke up every nasty creature in this hell hole...” She muttered as she gazed down the hall to see four pairs of glowing red eyes in the darkness.
“Damn it...Goblins! Let’s go!” Saskia exclaimed as she rushed forward into the fray.
Surrounded by a wall of goblins blocking their path. She did her Guardian bound duties and shouted in defiance. “Anchor Howl!”
Her sword then ripped across horizontally at [Goblin A] making him take a fraction of the damage. Afterwards, she took a few steps back, navigated her footing over the soft earth.
[Goblin B] was the first to strike, and as he did Saskia made sure to time the strike and slam her blade against his as steel banged against steel when she executed her [Parry] ability to negate a major portion of the damage.

Raef was startled by the sudden appearance of the trap, it had been too difficult to see even with the torch clearing away part of the darkness. Grasping both the torch and his staff tightly he watched the metal shrouded warrior rush forward to grasp the creature's attention. Knowing he had to distract the goblins from attacking Saskia the Foxtail aimed his staff not at the soft ground, nor the solid stone wall but at the metal mace on a rope that dangled above the battle.
"Oh Spirit of the Earth, Come forth and Protect your Caller."
A green glow surrounded his staff before a sphere of energy struck the metal mace which suddenly dislodged from the rope and ropped like a boulder onto the head of one of the goblins. The metal ball rolled a few feet behind the goblins before its solid metal structure cracked and then shattered into a bulky humanoid construct of iron shards sticking out of its dark grey texture like jagged spines.
The golem struck the already wounded [Goblin A], its sharp and solid metal limbs piercing leather and flesh in a steady rytm of sharp strong jabs. But the golems strikes weren't attracting the attention of the goblins who were too focused on the Guardian in front of them. However, Raef had analysed the battlefield and he could see a way to get the goblins attention away from Saskia. He just had to time it.
Aiming his weapon of choice the Summoner called upon his powers while telepathically commanding the golem were to strike. A green glow began to surround Summoner and Summoning and then Raef's chant broke out.
"Oh Warrior of Earth, Release thy Power! Guardian Fist!"
With a sudden right cross the golem struck not at the goblins but at the wall next to them, a large crack appeared and a large wooden beam that had been suspending the trap from before was loosened from the wall and fell down and struck the four goblins before rolling off their thick skulls and down onto their feet. Blinded with fury and pain the goblins turned around and struck at the golem, unwittingly activating Saskia's recently used ability, Anchor Howl. While the golem now had started attacking [Goblin B], as to wear down the goblins as fast as possible.
Raef was breathign a bit heavily from his recently activated power, to rapidly cast two such powerful spells in just a few seconds was tiring. However the result spoke for themselves, the goblins were being worn down and it wouldn't be long before his golem and Saskia cut them down.

She was glad that nobody got injured by the trap, though internally she was feeling rather guilty about setting it off and being the one who, though through numbers was supposed to be the more experienced player, managed to trigger a trap due to her negligence. I guess, demi-god or not, she was human too, and even a guild headmistress could make mistake.
However, now was not the time for self-pity or feelings of regret. Now was the time for action as the sinuous howls of lurking predators loomed in the shadows.
Like wild animals they shrieked with a starving hunger for bloodlust as the rattling of their shields could be heard as they banged on them with their swords, maces, and axes in a taunting manner.
At the forefront, was Saskia who’s eyes burst into radiant and fiery golden orbs that scorched like a wild phoenix and the adrenaline surged through her veins and the hair around her head grew thicker, much like a carnivorous wolverine. Her primal instincts began to kick in as she heard her great ally, Raef Blackwood muttered a few words in mystical tone. Once more, he rose the mighty essences of the earth by his side and called upon the spirit of nature to fight at his side.
It was a wonderous marvel to behold as the unstoppable machine stampeded across the field as the beast born of the metals of the earth. His iron ligaments were like razors as they cut through the virgin skin of the beast men like paper.
However, Saskia was not prepared for the next onslaught and stumbled as the ground shook when the metal golem struck the wall at the order of his clever master.
“H-holy shit...” Saskia said in a shock manner as dust and debris from the ceiling fell down over her head.
She gripped her sword tightly, and placed her hand against the wall to maintain her balance.
After seeing the golem wailing upon on of the goblins, Saskia received a new vigor in her eye as she dashed ahead with bold fervor. The metal of her armor rattled as she moved forward in an attempt to take out their weakest link.
The whole sight felt like a bold football play in motion as she sprinted to the right, hugging tight the wall, with her shield raised over head, she blocked an attack coming from [Goblin C] .
As his axe shook against her Great shield, he gripped the hilt of her sword tight to her chest, as her eyes looked up to find a vicious [Goblin D] attempting a vertical slash against her.
She ducked, low and to the left, raising her sword to deflect the attack with her [Parry] ability as steel scraped against steel, and she jerked her body to the left.
With agile footwork, she recovered from her stumbled and pressed a foot on the back of the metal golem and leaped up hoisting the hilt of her sword back, just above her right ear and driving it deep into the heart of [Goblin A] before gripping her blade with both hands kicking him off with a grunt as his blood oozed across the steel long sword.
"Damn, goblin scum!"
However, the twin goblins soon returned, and although she was able to defend against one with her shield, she was not able to fend off the two-pronged assault as she soon found a hatchet buried in her side.
She stumbled back a few steps, as she grimaced at the pain she felt.
"F-neep...you hit like a @#$%!" She groaned in stinging pain.

The goblins were getting more vicious, obviously the death of their fellow goblin had only invigorated their frenzy for blood and Saskia was obviously getting attacked from too many different angles for her to defend and attack properly. With a cold calculated look in his eyes Reaf moved forward with his staff and mentally gave his golem its orders.
Its vicious sharp jabs pounded at the weakest of the goblins, pushing it against the wall, giving it no time to attack. Grasping his staff Raef spun it in a half circle before swinging it upwards in a sharp angle and the tip of the staff struck the head of the goblin and with a loud crack broke the green skinned monster's neck, letting its body fall down onto the ground.
*Attack the Goblin to the Left.*
The golem then leapt at the other [Goblin C] and with a shoulder tackle at the creature's back, it's impact left no damage but it knocked the green skinned creature down on its side, leaving Saskia free from the flanking the goblins had done before.
The goblin was quick to recover however and swiftly got up on its feet and began to bash its bludgeons weapon on the metal body of the golem, making loud clangs echo through out the cavern. Though its arms were able to block the most of the attacks' damage was the golem's metal shell starting to form cracks from the impacts, which could be seen slowly healing, not as fast as the stone golem had done before though.
But then the Golem retaliated with a sudden backhand at the goblins attack and followed up by attacking the goblin, almost as if in retaliation for its constant bashing on its head, with a strong right upper cut that cracked the goblin's jaw before a quick jab made it stumble back. The impacts left two vicious cuts across its cheek and jaw from the sharp edges of the golem's knife like knuckles.
Once more gripping his staff Raef angled the bottom of the wooden weapon and with a swift but light jab he struck it between the legs of [Goblin D] and with a quick sideway strike hit the left knee, making the goblin fall down on its knees from the sudden impact on its joint. The [Goblin D] was not as quick to recover from the sudden impact on its legs as Raef was swift to kick the back of the goblin's head, making it fall face first into the soil of the tunnel floor with a loud smack, not injuring it more then 1% but it had the effect of making it disoriented.
"Finish it before it recovers!" Raef stated with a loud tone as he stepped back from the goblin as to not get attacked. Summoners were the weakest of all classes when it came to health and as a mage he had already low defensive stats. So to state it mildly was Raef not eager to challenge even a goblin, no matter how weak it is to him, unless he had a proper weapon or armour to handle it.

It was thrilling and magnificent as the deadly goblins shrieked and shouted in resilient cries as the bloodlust began to ooze out of their bloodshot eyes. They becamed enraged as the boiling veins popped out from their bald skulls. Their slimy pointed ears twitched as they heard the thunderous footsteps of the golem approach. More dust and sand fell from the ceiling as Raef determined the best course of battle to take with his pet summon.
The pointy ends of it’s fist began to impale the goblin that was barely hanging on by a thread. With each withdrawal and thrust of it’s blade-like arms, it ripped a bit more of the monsters essence of life. The brutality of it’s all out offensive was unleashing utter mayhem upon the goblin as his master smacked it atop the head with his sturdy staff, incapacitating it as it soon collapsed to the floor.
Shifting his assualt plan, the chessmaster Summoner moved his knight to take their rook as the metallic machine arose once more with it’s bloody hand blades and pummeled the [Goblin C] which the bold brunt of it’s scissor-like shoulders.
This opened up the perfect opportunity for Saskia to advance as she roared ferociously, drawn in fro the surge of excitement she received from watching to golem knock one of the enemies away.
After watching Raef get into a bout with the [Goblin D] Saskia ran forward and unleashed a homicidal onslaught as she wreaked havoc upon the goblin with her [Sword Rain Flurry] attack that sent five successive blows ripping against the goblin as she unleashed two diagonal strikes, two horizontal strikes from right to left, then with a flick of her wrist from left to right, then with both hands joined together on her blade, down the middle to run him through as she spilt him into slices of anima.
The bubbles showered over her body and began to pop all around her as her sweaty pink strands of hair began stick to her forehead and hinder her vision. As she gance between the tangled vines, she noticed that the golem’s shell was cracking, though it was trying to maintain it’s durability. She heaved a puff of air as she plunged herself forward in the abyss to help the golem out.
Letting out a blood-curdling cry she quickened her steps into a bold sprint as her body started to get hot from the fiery temperatures of running in the heavy armor, inside her armored cocoon sweat was pouring from her body as she kept up the will to fight onward. There was no backing down now. No matter how tough things would get, she was determined to see each fight through to the end. She skidded forward thrusting her sword into the ribcage of the goblin then as she placed a heel across it’s upper thigh, she ripped back, removing her blade from the wounded beast as it cried out in pain.
It only had a mere fragment of health and with it’s seemingly last breath it moved in a valiant stride to avenge the rest of it’s tribe as the last of his fallen brethren as he rushed at the golem with a fierce tenacity in it’s eyes. Saskia knew that it was only a matter of time before they would be able to attain their glorious victory. The battle was long and rigorous and there was much struggle as dripping sweat poured from their weary faces. However, the ragged Guardian and her Fox Tail companion would prevail. There was no room for failure in this final hour.

The onslaught of the goblins was getting more and more bloody by the second, the goblins were down to one final member and the golem almost boringly shifted its jagged body into a crouched stance before preforming a counter strike with its knife like fingers in a piercing strike that pierced and impaled the goblin's head on the jagged artificial beings knife like fingers. The Goblin popped like a bubble and the golem collapsed into a pile of broken shards as Raef released it from his service.
"Return to the Earth."
Gathering up the loot of the creatures Raef took up the torch rom the floor where he dropped it earlier and moved over to Saskia, holding up the torch to give her a better light. "Are you well? You took bit of a pummelling from those goblins."
After her given response of that she would recover he nodded before looking ahead into the tunnel, he could see an illuminated chamber aead, there was probably an opening in the ceiling that let in sun or moon light.
If he remembers correctly would there be a tougher opponent in this chamber, it had been common before the patch that put him here that caverns had at least one or two stronger opponents, bosses and mini-bosses. And as this was a low level quest it was reasonable to presume that there would be a weak but powerful low level mob somewhere ahead.
"I think there's going to be a tougher opponent up ahead, there's a large open illuminated chamber in front of us. No doubt there's something there." He then raised the torch a bit as he watched the path and then noticed something glimmering just ahead by the bottom of the entrance to the cave. It was a thin wire that stretched across the entrance and seemed to disappear into the ceiling.
"There's a tripwire by the doorway, probably a trap or alarm of some kind. We better rest a bit and recover before stepping over that tripwire and going inside that chamber." The summoner then sat down on the wooden beam that had been dropped form the ceiling before by his golem, it made for a decent resting point, at least for the moment.

Saskia began to hold unto her knees as she heaved a few breaths after being gassed by the battle, she didn’t bother to assist the golem as she was confident that he could handle well enough on his own. The beast was like a hurricane on the field as he tore up literally everything in sight He was a mad, wild beast uncaged with a ton of fury and rage behind every fierce blow he was ready to throw down on the battlefield. It was some of the most refreshing combat that Saskia had seen. The Summoner, Raef, didn’t even have so much as a scratch on him during the whole entire scenario.
After watching the goblin burst into a torrent of anima shards, Saskia saw the magi release the golem back into the void.
Taking a rag from her satchel, she wiped the sweat from her brow, which made the vanilla rag stained black.
“Must be pretty nice coming out without a scratch, heh. Maybe I picked the wrong class...seems like you’re more invulnerable than I am.” Saskia chuckled.
“I wish I had a little guardian like that following me around everywhere. Might be a cool class to look into if I ever switch after maxing out my guardian class.”
Saskia then straightened up her posture. “I’ll be fine. Don’t worry about me. I’ve been through worse than a bunch of raggedy goblins. Congrats on your level up though!” She smiled as she watched his body illuminate and she saw a notification in her party menu.
“Yeah, I got a feeling something creepy might be up ahead. It’s probably best that we take our time and chill for a while. We probably are going to fight something really nasty, but I think I got a plan I want try out later.” She mentioned as she leaned over and sat down beside him on the wooden post.
“Hopefully, this doesn’t make the roof above us cave in or anything...I rather like not being smashed by rocks in the head...especially after seeing what your golem can do..” Saskia chuckled. “So you having fun yet?”
She reached in her satchel and grabbed a flask.
“You know, they say no drinking on the job, but ehhh, what the hell? Here’s to a wonderful grand adventure!” She cheered as she drank from her flask.
She’d offer the man some, however, if he decided against, she’d just kill the whole flask herself over their course of time being there.

Raef chuckled a bit at her words, he felt more relaxed then he had felt in a long time. "Believe me it is difficult to keep myself from rushing into combat and whack anything that moves. I am physically weak so my normal attacks are about as useless as they come. I have to rely on my golem and with its constant drainage on my MP am I having difficult fighting prolonged fights so I have end most of my battles fast to not do unneeded risks to either myself or my summons."
Rubbing the large scar over his left eye once more he pulled out a small paper bag containing some sandwiches he was given by a player chef giving out free samples for a new sandwich, they were plain turkey club sandwiches, though with a tomato based chilli spiced sauce instead of a dressing made from yoghurt, cream or mayonnaise. Taking out one of the sandwiches he offered it to Saskia who was getting a bottle of alcohol from her bag.
Taking a bite of his own sandwich he accepted the bottle and took a deep drag from it, it was an okay flavour but gods he missed a good broth from his homeland. Sweden may not be known for it but they had a large amount of different kinds of beer and wine productions.
"Mein gott, I had missed the taste of a strong drink. Helvete, vad jag önskar att jag hade en burk Spendrups eller en flaska Pripps Blås mörka folk öl." (Translation: Good God, I had missed the taste of a strong drink. Hell, how I wish I had a can of Spendrups or a bottle of Pripps Blue's dark beer.) His murmuring in both German, English and Swedish was clearly a bit of a sign of his enjoyment of the drink as he was almost talking gibberish while he tried to talk three languages at once while eating a spicy turkey sandwich while taking an occasional sip of alcohol, while handing said bottle back and forth between Saskia who had her own sandwich to chew on.
"But yes, I am having fun, this has been a most fulfilling quest so far. It will be interesting to find out how much I will develop as I level up further." The rushing of energy he had felt before had been like a sugar rush, he felt so much more powerful then before. It was like an invisible muscle had been stretched and stretched before being released, recovering from the stretching and now being even stronger then before. Hopefully this would reflect on his summons as well.
After the sandwiches an alcohol was emptied Raef let out a loud belch suddenly that echoed across the room, he covered his mouth and coughed a bit. "Sorry about that, it just flew out." Said burp didn't seem to disturb the other parts of the mine so they were still safe from danger. Rubbing his itching scar once more Raef looked at the chamber ahead, thinking not about that battle to come but thinking more about how weird it felt to have two eyes once more.

Saskia seemed very relieved at the chance of getting a nice break so she could relax and unwind for a moment before the inevitable big fight. She listened as the fox tail modestly spoke of how even the mages in the rear endured harsh struggles with the manipulation of mana and focusing their energy. It sound as if it had been very draining on the body. She figured it must be tough, having to draw out all that energy from yourself and manifest it to summon a beast from the grand wonder of nature itself.
She watched subtly, careful not to stare too awkwardly at him as he kept rubbing his eye. At first she figured that it may have been possible that he got dust or debris in it and that was why he seemed so irritated, but then she recalled that upon more than one occasion he had done this. She remembered when he was outside in the forest, how he would rub his eye as if there was something seriously wrong.
She didn’t want to pry however, as she felt that if it was a big enough concern, perhaps he would speak about it on his own. Besides, she was distracted by him offering up sandwiches as she inhaled the tantalizing aroma of turkey and tomatoes, and the delicious fragance of chili as she eyed the sandwiches hungrily while finding her flask.
Without skipping a beat, he hit the nail on the head by offering her a sandwich.
“Oh, now you’re going to be my best friend! Offering me up fresh sandwiches! Hellz yeah!” She cheered in an excited manner. As she held the sandwich in both hands, she held it close to her lips, then opened her mouth wide to take a huge chunk out of it.”
She screamed a bit lightly as she became enamored with it’s rich flavor. “Oh my god...who made this? Was it you? This is a pretty freaking bomb ass sandwich, Raef!” She smiled. “And I’m glad it doesn’t have any mustard...I hate mustard. Too tangy. Mayo is my stuff though!”
As she offered him the flask and he took it and became very vibrant in spirit, Saskia chuckled and shrugged her shoulders a few times in laughter.
“Haha, you’re so silly! I don’t know half of what you said but I’m guessing you’re a man who loves his sauce! You just wait until I start up a bar of my own. I’m going to have the place loaded!” She laughed some more.
After he spoke of how he was having such a good time, Saskia smiled with warmth as she was happy too. “Well, I’m definitely glad we got to hang out and kick some ass together. Maybe now would be a good time for friend requests?” She asked as she pulsed out her hand and summoned a menu, inputting data to send him a friend request. “ You know...I mean...I’d hate if somehow you die in the next fight and poof into ania bubbles and I never see you again. That’d suck.”
After his belch, Saskia chuckled, not being offended at all. “Pretty strong stuff, I suppose. Hopefuly it doesn’t affect you too hard in the boss fight. “ Saskia chuckled.
She did offer him a pretty stiff drink, and she forgot to mention the secret that she was a Brewer and brewer’s did not get drunk as she toggled on her [Detox] Brewer ability.
Hopefully, he wasn’t a lightweight or anything.

Summoner - Animal Handler - Woodcrafter
____________________________________________________
Raef chuckled a bit before responding to her question. "I got those sandwiches from a stand were a chef was offering samplers of a new sandwich, I had ten of them, now six. My sub-classes are Woodcraft and Animal Handlers so I have n way of cooking food." Putting his bag of food back into his Inventory the Summoner looked out at the chamber, his hand still rubbing his scarred eyelid. The sensation felt very weird and he knew he shouldn't be rubbing it but the sensation grew more intense the longer he had his eye open so he had to ease it.
He then chuckled a bit at her comment about his cheerful mood from the taste of the stiff drink. "Heh before I entered this world did I enjoy a strong drink every weekend, though my body is physically the same am I not as strong as I was on earth so it might be possible that my body can't handle a drink as well as it did before." Taking another sip of the strong drink the Foxtail sighed a bit before handing back the bottle.
"Though I doubt it is something I should get bothered by, I will just have to see if I can build up my muscle strength by doing physical exercise like I did on Earth. Having depth perception again is an added bonus though." Standing up from the log Raef stretched his shoulders and arms and legs a bit before his ear twitched and he looked up at the ceiling. Hanging on the ceiling was a couple of bats huddling together.
Getting an idea he reached into his pocket and pulled out a pear. Hopefully these were fruit bats. Cutting the fruit with his claw like nails and activated his Animal Handler power, Scout, high lighting the bat with his power he murmured softly. "Oh silent fliers of the night, may I gain your aid?" The scent of the pear woke up the bats and they flew out into the larger chamber, though one of the bats, flew down to his palm and gobbled up the pear like an eager dog.
[Temporary Ally: Fruit Bat Obtained]
Murmuring into the creature's ear as he patted its head the summoner then released the bat into the air and it flew out into the cavern ahead and Raef took his staff and turned towards Saskia. "The bat will be tamed for a few minutes then it will return to the wilderness, I will call for it to help us if we need it. But I think we're ready to take on the boss now that we're rested up and fed."
