Please read my OOC Note. Thank you![attr="class","inf"] HP MP
[attr="class","sorrows"] All sorrows are less with bread. | | Skills Used: -start here- | Now where to continue? Or how to continue? The two-legged beasties that Breadcat encountered before had gone out of the safety of the "house" (Londinium) and actually went to the "dog park" (Windsor Greatwoods). Dizzy tilted his head a bit as he watched them walk on, and then he ran off to a random direction as soon as they were out of sight. He wished them well and hoped that they would not be mauled by the evil fanged beasts that sniff butts and joyfully eat kibble (dogs). The bread-providing one seemed confident enough as the little group walked on so Breadcat could only hope that he would survive long enough to be able to provide more bread.
Speaking of which, the aroma of freshly-baked goods wafted towards the werecat's face as he passed by some shops. The middle of the street began to get crowded with a whole bunch of people, so Dizzy, still on all fours, strutted by the sidewalks. He attracted a lot of attention, being an adventurer who pranced around as if he was a real cat, but he was ignorant of this and as they say... ignorance is bliss. Some laughs and pointing occurred especially from children and adults who still acted like children, yet Breadcat did not care about this. His objective now was to find the source of the wonderful smell.
Soon enough a small bakery came into view with pies and baguettes and loaves of bread lined up along the window sill. Breadcat positioned himself beneath that very sill and sat on his catty bottom. He was still filthy because the taste of mud somehow was worse when he tried to clean himself with this new body's tongue. The muddied werecat stared up longingly at the warm pies and breads, eyes fixated at "the heavens".

The bakery door suddenly opened up, which caused the bell that hung in the door's path to noisily ring. There in the doorway, stood a young blonde woman carrying an arm-full of breads and pastries in a straw basket. "Thanks again!" she said, enthusiastically to what could be assumed to be the seller within the shop. "You're welcome. Hope you a good evening miss." said a voice from inside the bakery. With her free hand, she gently closed the door behind her, and was about to make her way back home, until her eye caught sight of something near the display window of the bakery window. What stood in front of it was a small anthropomorphic cat, covered from head to tow in mud. He seemed to be staring at the various baked goods on display. When she saw him licked at his own muddied paw, she started to pity the poor little thing. He shouldn't be standing out in the cold, in mud, and hungry. She had to help him! And with that, she approached the feline. "Hello, there." She said, cheerily to the feline, "Are you hungry? If so, would you like some cake, or maybe some bread?" she asked, with a tender and concerned tone in her voice as she spoke to him.

[attr="class","sorrows"] All sorrows are less with bread. | | Skills Used: -start here- | He really should clean up his act. Or maybe just his fur. The werecat attracted a bit of attention with his rump right there on the ground, unmoving as his eyes were fixated on the fresh bread and pies. Why was that adventurer so filthy and why was he sitting down on all fours? Who would think that Breadcat was an actual cat, stuck in this werecat body with no knowledge of how to act like a biped... except maybe for those times when one of Philip Ryan's friends made him stand up on two feet and wiggled his belly. That aside, ah, Dizzy thought back to the bread-providing beastie (Hexell). He wondered if that one was still alive and if he survived the dog park. It would be a shame to lose such an avid provider, but there was no way that Dizzy would risk tail and limb for that beastie. There could be other providers in the safety of the house (Londinium), and what better time for one to come along than the present time? Breadcat turned his ears first and then his head a little to the side from which Sophia spoke. She was different from the other two-legged ones that he met before. Her head was full of long fur which was probably difficult to groom. Although Breadcat did not understand a word of what she said, the guardian smelled of bread. Unmindful of the stares, much like any other cat, Breadcat 'stood up' on all fousr and trotted over to Sophia's side. He then proceeded to rub his torso against her legs and swished his tail happily too. "Maaaaaao!" was all he said as the werecat looked up at the guardian. In appearance, he looked just like any werecat adventurer and walking on all fours made him seem awkward. But his voice was very much like a cat, and unlike a human who was pretending to be a cat. | | ✦Word Count:320 | ✪ Made by Breadcat of Elder Tale ✪ |
