Two months. Two months had passed since Zyoto's encounter with the guild officer of Ephemeral Solace, the young man known in this world as Dorian. Even though it had been so long since the encounter, and yet the memory was still very vivid and clear in her mind, like a lingering regret. In fact, now that she thinks about it... She recalled how obvious her own interest in Dumah and his guild had been portrayed. "Gah, I'm such an idiot!" She threw herself back against the bench she was seated in, covering her eyes in regret. "Why can't I be a good actor like he is?!" She kicked her legs a bit, her teeth gritted somewhat angrily. After a few moments, she calmed down and sighed, sitting forward again. "I need to get my mind off of it... Maybe I should-" As she was speaking to herself, she was cut off by an unfamiliar voice.
"Pardon me, miss?" Zyoto turned to look over her shoulder, seeing a young, blonde Person of The Land with a soft face and a middle-class outfit on, consisting of simple pants, a white undershirt, and a tan jacket. "I'm terribly sorry to interrupt your afternoon to yourself, but I wanted to ask... You are an Adventurer, yes?"
The young man smiled, holding his hands together. "Yes, I am, why do you ask?" Judging from the look of it, and given that the fellow specifically asked if she was an Adventurer, Zyoto presumed he was going to give her a quest. She just hoped it was more interesting than the cliche quest to gather eight wolves' pelts, or the god forsaken fetch quest. Or, dare she say it, an escort quest!
"Great! I am in a bit of a pinch, you see..." There it was; it seemed she was right in guessing the man to be a quest giver. "I am a merchant, and well... I need to transport my wares to Sarum City. However, I have heard that the road has been... What's a good word... Well many monsters have shown up lately. I was hoping to get an Adventurer or two... or three... to help me out and protect my cart!" It was an escort quest... The one thing Zyoto was praying it would not be. She seemed to have jinxed it.
"Well, I myself would not be able to protect your cart I'm afraid. However, I am sure I can find a party to help." Zyoto stood from the bench, stretching both of her arms one at a time, then stretching both legs. How long had she been sitting down? Her body felt quite sore, actually. Hopefully that would not get in the way of the quest... She tapped at the air to open her menu, taking a look at the time. "It is rather late at the moment, so why don't we meet at the gate leading towards Sarum tomorrow around noon?"
The Person of The Land smiled a toothy grin, internally beaming with joy and relief. "Yes, that sounds great! Thank you, miss!" He nodded strongly. "I will see you tomorrow, then!" With that, he bowed and began to walk off until out of sight.
"Let's see, if we're going to have a successful party, we will want at least one of each role... I already fulfill the role of a DPS. That means that we need just a tank and a support, preferably a healer." Zyoto walked off towards the popular party area, thinking with each step. She held her chin in her left hand, her right hand on her hip as she walked by a few groups of Adventurers. "Alright, that should be easy to find!" She held her hands near her mouth to try and speak louder as she announced that she was looking for a party for a quest.
