[attr="class","sugar"] [attr="class","sugarbox"] [attr="class","sugarlyrics"]WELL I wanna melt your heart [attr="class","sugarbody"] Ryosuke steadied himself as he walked through these peaceful and rather beautiful tidings, their underbrush and beauty keeping himself in a peaceful state for the days to come. His eyes watching fluidly along them while walking by the many flowers that resided here, a hand against them with a smile that passed by his lips. It was the very benefactor to which he only put a calm pause to this land and then a rush of smells brushing against his nose while he was assaulted by such beauty that fluidly distinguished itself unto him. A grin spreading along his lips as he popped his neck and rolled his shoulders in a steady and less obtuse way for the manner that was to be. Dressed in his usual black hakama pants and shihokushō he put a hand up ruffling the pollen out of his blond hair, letting the pollen leave and fall to the ground while stepping forwards. This place was far too peaceful, yet the noise of many of the animals that surrounded the area was enough to tell him that there were no mobs yet that would attack. At least none that would be too non-natural for such attacks. His book in a small carrying holster on his side, almost like an exorcist’s bible, he also had a pistol and its ammo on the other hip, a steady walk around having his wears along him. He knew very little about this land still, in fact it was his first time actually in these meadows of flowers but there was a peace to these he could not find in his old life… Why was that? Was it the steady breeze, the not at all hot air with the bright sun? Whatever it was, it was a peace he was not going to forget anytime soon while making his way across such pastures, only gazing out in wonder. ••Glacis Rainmaker•• There was never a better way to understand any particular season than to be in the thick of it, immersed in the nature it created. No matter where you were, or what time it was, Nature was like a readable book, but only for those to bothered to read it. It was as if all the the world wanted was to share it's story with all who would listen. Even this world. This new world that so many people had found themselves in. Though it was at this point very clear that this world had a deep connection with the Elder Tale that the entire Adventurer population knew, It was also impressively realistic in the way it resembled the world they all once called home. Well, except for the food that is. After all, Glacis was a tailor, not a chef. In any case, it was this nature that fueled art sometimes. That was why so many paintings depicted beautiful landscapes that one could almost dive into just by looking. It was the reason why there were so many musical compositions made with the sole purpose to provide ambiance that fits the setting of the environment. In fact, that was what much of the People of the Land's 42 was. It was this nature that compelled Glacis to do a bit of research today, for lack of a better word. Fashion was art, and summer was fast approaching. She wanted to capture the turn of the season as she started work as a tailor, and so today she felt that going to the flower garden would be a nice place for some quick inspiration. Today Glacis was wearing the same thing she had been since the Catastrophe, a habit that she found strange and did not particularly like very much, especially since all she was wearing was a simple blouse with the starter chain armor over it and some brown starter pants, but one she would have to get used to until she was able to get some more clothes, or else make her own. Besides, it was par for the course after suddenly finding herself with only the clothes on her back and a big stick. Still, if she was going to have to wear the same plain clothes for who knows how long, she would make sure her hair looked good to make up for it. So today it was short and loosely wavy, given the nice day it was. She left the bar she had crashed in for the night, heading for the garden carrying some scrap paper from the bar and a pencil. Glacis had not left the main bulk of the city of Londinium very often, but she did catch a glimpse of the flower grove from afar once when she was closer to the outskirts. So she knew the general direction to head toward, though it did not change the fact that she did need to stop to ask for directions a few times. All part of the adventure, really. Glacis wasn't above talking to people just to find out where she was, and where she was going. As the brunette human stepped into the more open area that was The Windsor Greatwood, She made it a point to stick to the road until she was eventually able to find the grove, following the directions she had compiled that lead her to a faded dirt path, naturally created by the feet of many others who had found the flowers before her. Entering the area after following the vague woodland path was a treat for sure. First of all, Just the weather was phenomenal today. Being outside in the warm late spring air, the sun beaming down and lighting up the world, it was enough to put anyone in a good mood. The cool, light breeze kept anyone from baking in the heat. Though Glacis was more of a snow type of girl, This weather was good too. Very good. And the way it was emphasized by the hundreds or even thousands of flowers that coated the area.... Well, it was gorgeous. The wind blew the broken petals around and made the trees dance, The sun's bright rays shined brilliantly on the landscape, giving the leaves a magnificent highlight and allowing the colors of the flowers to stand out vibrantly against the green. Summer was a time of bold brilliance, and that was where Glacis' inspiration would begin. She sat down in the middle of the field, pulling out the papers and immediately regretting not having anything flat and sturdy to draw on. Oh well. She would still be able to sketch as she intended, it would just prove to be a bit more difficult. Still, she got to work right away, noting the interesting color combinations she saw and drawing a simple template body figure to practice with, and that was all this would be: practice. She would not be drawing any serious designs today, at least not on purpose. She simply wanted to take the inspiration of the fantastic nature around her and see where her creativity would lead her from there. As she sketched she noticed something that did not quite belong. Another person, standing among the flowers. Whether he had just gotten there or he had been there and Glacis never noticed, she did not know, but it was certainly a bit of a surprise. Though when she thought about it, why would she be surprised? If she was there herself, anyone else could be too. The person appeared to be a man, and judging by the weapons he visibly carried, the Shaman deduced him to be an adventurer, like herself. Of course, like the social butterfly that she was, his very presence drove Glacis to want to interact. "You know I must say," She shouted, just loud enough for him to be able to hear, "The passiveness of the grove and the aggressiveness of your equips make for a very interesting combo." She smiled, waving to make sure she was seen without having to physically get up. ••Words•• Post: 1017

[attr="class","sugar"] [attr="class","sugarbox"] [attr="class","sugarlyrics"]WELL I wanna melt your heart [attr="class","sugarbody"] Ryosuke gazed in the magnificence of the sun, his eyes looking at it as he felt the retinas burn from such stimulus, truly fascinated by this world of which the digital age had made. It was something he had never experienced before nor did he find it an appeasement that he must acknowledge its creation to such a manner. The creation of a world that still swayed the human heart, this is what was created and though there were no better locations he could have picked to see, this was the one that took all thoughts and made them whole. This place, it was a wonderful beauty and he never quite understood how such a beauty made it into a game as this, a game that can quite easily be broken down into a fanatical realization of violence and miscreation. However his contemplation was quite enough, nothing good will come of breaking the game away at his mind. He did however begin to think on the things he left behind in the previous world, the subtle brilliance behind it as he pulled at the strings that held his mind together when noticing a sparkle to his eye. This sparkle one could say was unlike most out there, no this sparkle happened to be that of a voice and the individual to match such voice surprising him while he had been taking in the beauty of this land. The heat of the sun warming his black cloths as he socked up the rays as if he too were a part of the nature or the plants surrounding him. Indeed such nature was up most shocking when he looked over to see the individual whom broke his peace yet he did not look with dismay. In fact it was quite lonely in this field of such beauty so interaction was very much so a wondrous thing. She spoke in such a tone, it was like art critics speaking as he looked upon her to take in full of what she was. An individual with simply starter chainmail covering a blouse, his eyes blinking at this as he wondered to himself why the chainmail wasn’t under such a blouse, certainly in the game’s start up features that should’ve been an option but then again his chosen class didn’t use chainmail. Yes, that made sense now why this was so odd, it was the reason he wasn’t a chainmail user, none of these things were to make sense but needless to say he didn’t bother to bring it up into conversation at this current time. Rather he would begin speaking up so to actually begin some conversation with the individual whom brought herself to speak to him. “It may be an interesting combination and if the warnings of beasties did not exist here in this zone I wouldn’t have bothered to wear such gear with me.” He spoke in an ample tone, something like buttermilk to a cake, his tone matched him almost perfectly with the mystery outline he had given such a look to himself for. He was curious though, seeing the girl and spotting the art gear what she was doing, curious enough to even ask which was unusual for himself. “So, does the scenery here inspire you to create art of your own?” It was a rather abrupt topic to bring up but then again it was still an icebreaker to conversation by his mind. Yes, much appropriate it was to bring up said individual hobbies and of course hopefully have such things answered as well. He did proceed to walk over to the edge of flowers and where she was on her drawing posture and sit down to relax. ••Glacis Rainmaker•• Meeting people had always been an interesting endeavor to Rani in real life, as if one could even distinguish what the adventurers had once referred to as "IRL" from this sudden new life, or at least dismiss it from being some form of reality at all, and therefore it was the same here in Elder Tale for Glacis. It had always been pretty neat to discover new things about each individual person, get glimpses to their lives, listen to their exciting stories. It was probably even more interesting now that the Catastrophe had happened, Since there were two new factors added into the mix: The people of the land had lived in such a fantasy land their whole life, which made for tales the like of which Glacis had never heard as a true story, while every single adventurer would start any interaction knowing that they all already shared something in common, the fact that they were interested in MMO's. Of course, that was just part of the reason why Glacis found an interest in socialization. The other part of it was all about networking. Building up a spider web of acquaintances and friends while trying her best not to make too many enemies. To be truly outgoing was not a trait that everyone possessed, and The young Tailor believed it to be her greatest and most reliable weapon. In building up a network, she starts with having people with whom she feels comfortable asking questions whenever confusion arose. Asking said questions would eventually become asking for help, both physically and personally. Soon, those favors would grow bigger as needed, and you end up with someone who will always have your back. Many of those people even, the bigger the network gets. In Glacis' case, it would be most helpful in her endeavor to be the fashion designing Tailor she wanted to be. Not to say she would be using anyone, of course. In fact the best part about networking, you end up with life long friends. It was for this reason that she had begun a conversation with this Adventurer man, and for this reason that she was glad he was okay with a chat. That was the trouble with randomly talking to people sometimes, not everyone was as extroverted as she was. Not everyone wanted to talk. That or they turn out to be people that she is much better off without. However, so far it was working out fine this time around so score one for Glacis. Still, the man's response was his reasoning for bringing his weapons. That being the existence of mobs. It wasn't that Glacis hadn't thought about that, but rather that she hadn't REALLY though about it. It crossed her mind, but for whatever reason she had put the thought aside today. it was her drawing day! What right did Fate have to try to ruin it? Besides, The shaman did not FORGET her staff, in case mobs did eventually show up though she didn't know how likely that was, she just didn't have it equipped. It was FINE. She would be FINE. Now, in addition to his equipment justification, the man expressed his own curiosity in regards to Glacis' drawing, asking if the nature inspired her to make art. This of course, was partly true, but her drawings were more about practice and experimentation. Why do these colors look good together in the grove, and how could she apply it to her designs. Granted, she wished she didn't just have only a pencil to work with, causing her to have to write down what color would hypothetically go where, and making it a bit more difficult to imagine the end result later. Of course in this case, Glacis had little intentions to make any of these random doodles a project any time soon. Maybe she would in her old life, but since this was a new world and all, she wanted to change up her style a bit, match the Elder Tale aesthetic with her own spin. And for that to work out the way she planned, experimentation and practice were definitely key elements to the equation. "What can I say? Nature tends to have that effect, I think. It is a natural muse, if you will." She picked up only the paper she had already started drawing on. Right now it only had a few color notes and a very VERY quickly drawn out design that Glacis was pretty confident only she could make any sort of sense of. After all, it was not a real go at a design, so it did not really matter all that much. She held it up so that the man could see it better if he wanted to, the random words that were on the back, or rather front, technically, of the scrap paper starting to show through as the sun lit the page up. "I'm just doodling, seeing what kind of inspiration and creativity decides to hit me, you know?" She put the paper back down. "I have tailor as a subclass, so this is for that. Sort of. It doesn't really help my class directly, but it exercises my imagination, which I assume will prove to be helpful when I do eventually get materials to work with." She sighed, taking in the warm air with pleasure. She then turned to the man enough to hold out her right arm for a hand shake. "I'm Glacis, by the way. Glacis Rainmaker." It was still quite strange referring to herself with her internet name, but that was the name the system had, the name that would show up in any menu she could appear in, so she figured it was easier this way. It would just take some getting used to. She allowed time for the hand shake and the other half of the introduction if the man would so choose, before continuing on with a question. "So you know why I'm here, now it's your turn. What brings you here, to this little chunk of springtime paradise?"••Words•• Post: 1014

[attr="class","sugar"] [attr="class","sugarbox"] [attr="class","sugarlyrics"]WELL I wanna melt your heart [attr="class","sugarbody"] His question was answered in kind remarks, truly it was something that held a certain sway to it while he looked at her to take in what she was to the fullest effect that he had. His hub display showing what he already knew plus some more information. She was a low level like himself, not only that but she was a shaman one of the more healing type of classes. Indeed a healer mixing along the pasture with a hexer of a heretic… Indeed truly an interesting mixture for people out and about in these kinds of situations yet he was perplexed by this to some extent. His blue eyes looking across her as he gazed at her choice of sub classes. The one being fortune teller was an interesting thing but then of course she spoke of the tailor sub class just as his eyes passed over to see it himself. All low leveled, just like him and surprisingly he was not the only first level out there. He thought his nap during the cataclysm had kept only him from achieving the higher levels but perhaps this was not the case. Either way he rolled his shoulders and while sitting down with a steady gaze to her he absorbed her speech of why she was here and what all she was doing as well. Indeed the way she spoke was by far phenomenal and well put together yet he only tapped his lips in curiosity of the doodle. If she hadn’t said she was a tailor then he’d be lost as to what she was trying to make yet he was still considerably put into a predicament when she spoke of trying to make better use of her talents and it was something he also thought about in that moment. Her hand held out to him to which he heard her name to be Glacis Rainmaker, a unique username at that but hopefully one he would remember all the same. He in turn held his hand out to her with a smile, returning the kindness in due time, “Pleasure to meet you Glacis… I am Ryosuke.” His words came out in their usual tone, nothing changing about that nor was the hesitation before speaking his name all that noticeable. No, it was rather the fact he spoke at all in such a debut that he was accepting his name. In the old life he was Alex Reed, a simple combat medic but here… Here he was quite the opposite and it was warming his heart to see someone actually go under the healing route while he went somewhere completely different. Indeed he was pleased with the events as they came about. Once having taken a good look at her in a non-creepy manner he began to speak of himself after being prompted to do such in its own kind. His words coming out with honesty to them rather than the sickly demise that most heretics seemed to possess. His eyes on her as he spoke, “This little chunk of paradise holds something unique to me. A peace of the old life and something I was sorely missing. I come here to remind myself why I prefer this world to the old one while at the same time I miss some aspects of the old due to the flowers they put in this world.” Indeed, flowers such as lilies and geraniums were abundant here and those were favorites by his ex-fiancé. Indeed a life possibly not likely to carry on yet the flowers had a peace to him as his sad face turned back to a smile. No matter how much he smiled, his eyes were still sad but they expressed themselves in a different manner as he spoke, “In any case, I come out here to mostly gauge myself and possibly train up some of my abilities. You are a tailor as a crafting class, though I myself am a Woodcrafter. I haven’t done anything with it since I made this character and really it is just collecting dust while I wait to figure out what to do with it. Outside of that, I’m a gunslinger heretic. As you already noted with my odd equipment.” A smile once again passing by his lips with a light chuckle following along. Indeed, the oddity that was Ryosuke was here talking to someone yet such laughter did not last in his favor long while he looked out and around the place before him. “So, random question for you if I may, what made you decide to become a healing class individual? Out of the many to choose from you went for the one with least combat focus than more of the regular healing classes so I am curious.” Indeed, he was as there were many reasons out there why someone would heal another and with them he always grew his curiosity to the reasoning behind others and their goals behind the healing. Some did it to get closer to betrayals, others for the sheer enjoyment, while he was a healer in the past life for the challenge of it. All were reasons of the many out there left unsaid yet he wanted to know her reason behind the task, why she chose such a difficult rode to walk as it were. His analytical eyes looking at her while keeping an ear open to the surroundings just in case. He did however speak about his own choice, “You see, I find there are many types of healers just like there are many types of the utility classes, the heretic being the one I chose. I chose mine for the sheer oddity and obvious opposite effect of my day to day of the prior life. I’m probably more cut out for other classes after having grazed along the abilities that this class has yet I keep with it either way, nothing else I can really do about it for the most part currently which is why I am interested in you. Or rather interested in your choice of the class.” A little sigh passing his lips when he almost let something odd slip past his tongue, indeed don’t need to appear more creeper-esque than already known. That wouldn’t help anything for the situation in his eyes as it were. ••Glacis Rainmaker•• And with that, the man was no longer a stranger. He had responded to Glacis' introduction with the reveal of his own username, Ryosuke. Now, the shaman girl had noticed that in most every MMO she had played, Single name IGN's were quite common. In fact, she rarely ever saw anyone with more than only their character's first name, or just a series of words that they think sound cool or smart or meaningful like 'Ceramic Faerie' or something of the sort. Glacis had always used a first and last name if she could help it, since it helped her get into her character. Now that she WAS her character, she was glad her decisions had payed off. Anyway, it was quite pleasing to be able to add Ryosuke as the very first Elder Tale person to be added to her little mental affinity chart of friends, and she did indeed consider this man a friend now. Generally, she thought of strangers as friends she had yet to meet, and when she did meet them, they became friends. To be acquaintances was such a middle man type of step. When people weren't her friends, it was because they had given her a reason not to consider them as such, so until that happened, Ryosuke was a buddy. "Likewise, Ryosuke." she said, in reply to his introduction. Still, his next comment was an odd one for sure. He was in the meadow to remind him how this world was better than the old one? Make no mistake, Glacis was actually quite impressed with this world. It was remarkably similar to the other one, but much more magical. Normal people could do fantastic things now that would have previously only been possible in a game. In THIS game. Adventurers were granted immortality. Shadows of the past could suddenly dissipate as if they never even happened because in this world, they didn't. But the Catastrophe also caused some major issues for a lot of people. People of the Land now had to deal with so many Adventurers suddenly becoming much more...active than they ever had before. Technology and innovation had to start over almost from scratch or one had to face the consequences that came with using the interface to craft items. The world was full of unknown dangers and monsters, and Worst of all, Adventurers had to drop everything. Their family, their friends, their LIVES, it all had to be left behind and not a single person was given a choice. This hit many people hard, it had to have. So for Ryosuke to speak in such a way, it seemed like he really hated the old world. As for Glacis, she was quite happy with her life before all of this crazy change happened. It wasn't the most glamorous thing, though she was trying her best to get there, and it was a simple life, but she was content. Lucky, even. She wouldn't have traded it for anything, until she was forced to. Of course, there was a certain sadness in Ryosuke's expression. It was pretty brief overall, but it was enough of a change from his previous expressions to be visible. Perhaps Glacis was right, and he hated the old world, or at least something the happened in it. Naturally the Shaman was curious, but it did not seem like a subject matter pry into. After all, they had only just met. Some things just needed to be kept private. When people felt like they needed to talk, they normally did. So when the subject was changed, Glacis felt that it was probably for the best. Ryosuke went on to talk about his classes, How he was a wood crafter and a Heretic with guns. He then ended with a question for Glacis about why she chose her healing class. A first Glacis could not help but be a bit confused. Yes, she had just told him that she was a tailor, but she did not recall informing the man of her main class as Shaman. She then quickly realized what had probably happened. He must have gotten the information from her profile. Glacis had not even thought of doing that, and she honestly did not really want to. She thought it strange and basically creepy that one could just pull up an menu and suddenly have every thing they need to know about someone else. Sure, the amount of information you got without actually knowing a person was very limited, but it was still weird. Glacis personally preferred Just talking to people over that. Just getting to know them normally, through communication. Pulling up a separate screen that sat in front of your face and only you can see it, making you potentially look like a fool, was unnecessary and well, unnatural. Not that the young shaman didn't find it helpful from time to time, but it was more of a strange hindrance than anything. "Oh, uh, yeah. I picked Shaman simply because it's support. In previous games I would always play support, and this time's no different. You see, support classes require the interaction of other people to be successful, and i like to think of myself as pretty outgoing." She paused. "Not to sound conceited or anything, heh. But yeah, support and healing requires other people to really work, and they are also classes needed by other people but other people don't usually like to take, in my experience. So for me I count it as a win win." She then sighed. "I just hope i can be of much use, adventuringwise. It's listed as a healing class, but it's not REALLY a healing class. It's more of a hyper defense class. Lots of shields and barriers. I picked it because it was different, so I really hope it works out." She felt a tickle on her leg, looked down and flicked of the ant that had made its way there. "So what about your subclasses? What are they for? My Tailor is obviously because of my fashion design background, and I also have Fortuneteller to keep up with next season's trends. Those were the reasons when I picked them anyway. Now that this is life, I'm not too sure."

[attr="class","sugar"] [attr="class","sugarbox"] [attr="class","sugarlyrics"]WELL I wanna melt your heart [attr="class","sugarbody"] It was a sufficient explanation, one that Ryosuke didn’t find any problem with while it swirled around his head like a free moving thought. Indeed he merely kept his mind open to the ideas here. With a small tap of his chin he found himself further pleased with her answers even though he had the feeling his sadness was noticed earlier he wouldn’t test the waters. He wasn’t up for spilling his guts yet. “Indeed it may be a primary barrier class but you are the ground that separates the front line from being overrun by those that would diminish your allies. In truth just having you as a support heals the morale alone. Something that truly makes up for what others may lack in the same area of fortitude.” His words were melodic when he spoke, as if to presentably say how he knew so much about the subject but then again it was his own battle knowledge that did the trick. He however did find it somewhat odd, her asking why he chose the classes that he did while he looked at her with a curious gaze. “Well, you could say I chose my classes for a bit of different reasoning. I chose woodworker because it seemed the least liked out of all the crafting classes. Everyone may enjoy being a blacksmith because that is the cliché to a revolutionizing world yet there are those that forget our roots come from the world around us and that is made of wood.” With a quiet shrug he then thought on the task of his choosing of gunslinger. Why exactly did he pick that one, was it for the combat experience or for the fact it can act on his history of being a soldier for his nation in the old world? Either way he presented the woman an answer when speaking, “Well I guess you could say I picked my other subclass, the Gunslinger, as a means to keep my corruption as low as possible. After doing some digging on the classes I found that the use of the Heretic is powerful but double edged by the means that having such a class can instill harm to thyself and thy party so I chose the gunslinger route to counter balance it, to allow itself to be a range of its own combative practice.” He looked around, the noises were quieting as the cheerful sounding animals all but went silent. He was curious of this but didn’t move completely, merely flexed himself to an easier to evade stature, “By the way. Would you be interested in partying up at some point?” His words left his lips before he really had a chance to catch them. “Not to be the creep but, being a party would at least have us to some degree be more useful to one another during missions to some extent, not only that but I could help you during missions and you for me. Gives the possibility to enhance our perspective on this blossoming world and who knows,” he would soon add. “Maybe you might have more inspirations for your artful clothing lines in this world having more time spent with others than doodling away in a meadow that can easily be disrupted of its peace.” He wasn’t trying to sound narcissistic or even egotistical. He was trying to just be his normal self, in such a means of a way that left him in a bit of a pickle while waiting for a response, mostly because he thought something was out there ready to ambush them but he didn’t know what. ••Glacis Rainmaker•• As Glacis asked her question, she was met with a somewhat confused look from Ryosuke in response. this more or less confused the Shaman in turn, with her wondering what the strange expression was for. Her question wasn't too personal was it? It was only about his classes, or rather his subclasses. Just some information about his character in this, a game. Well, kind of a game. Whether or not Elder Tale was a "game" now was kind of up in the air at the moment. Either way, Glacis stood by her decision to ask. "What? You asked me an out of nowhere question, it's only right that I return the favor, yeah?" Eye for an eye, or something like that. Something way less negative. If she answered his question, it only made sense that he answer hers. The man did in fact eventually answer her question though, explaining the reasoning behind his choice of the Woodcrafter and Gunslinger subclasses. His answer for his woodcrafting skills was what interested the young tailor the most. Mostly because it was very similar to some of the reasons she picked Shaman herself. Because it was different, Because it seemed like less people chose it over others, Because it was still important to said others. Glacis nodded as he spoke, agreeing with his logic. Dare to be different right? To be unique was a very important quality that any person could have. If everyone went along with all of the same things, life would be pretty boring. This was a fact that held true in the old world, and a fact that remained true in this new one. The next question that appeared must have given Glacis that same Confused look that Ryosuke had, if only for a brief moment. The heretic had asked if She wanted to party up with him as some point. A simple and reasonable question upon giving it some thought, but it did come out of the blue. Glacis would have understood friends list or something like that, But for him to mention a party while they were Just sitting in a peaceful meadow chatting, It struck Glacis as a little bit strange. Well, He must have noticed her hesitation, because very shortly afterward he explained why he was asking, though it did not do too much to change her opinion. What was all this talk about missions and such? Glacis was just trying to draw. Ryosuke did, however, try to give her a way to relate more, mentioning that she could get more inspiration for her deigns, which the Rainmaker very much appreciated. "Well, If you ever have a dungeon or quest you'd like my company on, I'd Probably be up for it, provided I'm not already busy. I do love a good adventure whenever I have the time, and something tells me I'll have the time for a bit while this Tailoring thing is still low level." she paused for a quick thought. "Or maybe I'll be so busy from leveling it up. Who knows?" She shrugged, smiling politely. Something still bothered her about what Ryosuke had been saying. It was a case of sudden and very slight paranoia. It was not quite the type that would make one fearful, but instead would make one wary and cautious. It wouldn't show on her face, but now that the possibility of mobs was mentioned, Glacis' mind was put into a type of alert mode. She looked around casually, in a way that she had been already, when taking in the beauty of the grove. However, now she was looking at the meadow through the eyes of a fortune teller. Huh. Well what do you know. She thought, having seen the next mobs about so spawn in. Though their silhouette was shrouded by the plants and flowers, Glacis could see the name tags of Three garden snakes, two level 4's and a level 5, all spawning in 4 minutes and 37, 36, 35 seconds. The Level 5 and one of the 4's were located in front of the two Adventurers, while the last snake was located to their left. All snakes were about 3 and a half meters away. Of course, Glacis would be the only one able to see it, unless Ryosuke had some special skills up his sleeve. Remaining as calm as ever (because what reason does she have to be afraid of a few snakes besides the fact it was her first real battle?), she pulled up her menu and equipped her staff from her inventory. She would have told her companion to do the same, but he already seemed well equipped for battle. "For the record" She started, "Peace suddenly broken by danger is plenty inspiring if you ask me. Something about that Passive aggressive contrast I mentioned earlier." She closed her menu and set her paper and pencil down on the ground next to her. 3 minutes 58 Seconds. She stood up, Brushing off any loose grass stuck to her pants. "Now, if you want to party up real quick, now would not be such a bad time. We have a few slithery friends coming in, and I'm pretty sure we could take them. You know, probably." She pointed at the three spawn locations. "There there and there. 3 Minutes 38 seconds." Whether or not Ryosuke decided to heed the warning was up to him, Though since he was the one who asked in the first place, Glacis saw no reason to not let him create the party himself this time, while she focused on her timing. Three minutes gave her more than enough time to plan out what she intended to do, though she was going to have to be almost pure support, without any offensive skills to help her out. Just some barriers and a stick. This would be quite interesting. " You're gonna have to do most of the offense, okay?" 30 seconds left. Alright, here we go, she said internally. She looked over her skills one more time before closing the menu. "10 seconds." Her gaze was on the timer above the level 5 mob. 8 seconds. "Damage interception!" She pressed her staff to the ground and put a barrier around Ryosuke. 6.5 seconds later she did the same to herself. Both barriers would last about a minute, though a good attack from the mobs would probably break it. But at least the damage would be taken by the barrier and not the adventurers. As the second barrier went up, the snakes spawned in. It was time for a battle. ••Words•• Post: 1100

••Skills••HP=100% MP=080% Prediction: The fortuneteller is able to see into the future and predict certain situations. This skill allows them to survey an area of radius 5 meters from their current position. All monsters that will spawn within the next 5 minutes will appear as semi-transparent figures with timers above their heads showing their spawn time. This information is only visible to the Fortuneteller. While some Fortunetellers use this as a way to avoid trouble, there's been a number of field boss hunters who like to have one with them so that they can predict the incoming monster and make preparations.
Damage Interception: A barrier skill known as the signature move of the Shaman. Forms either a stationary barrier or a barrier around a target that continues to exist until the "energy" of the barrier expires. Energy will decrease slowly over time and decrease from damage taken. This skill has a casting time of 1.5 seconds and a cooldown of 5 seconds.

[attr="class","sugar"] [attr="class","sugarbox"] [attr="class","sugarlyrics"]WELL I wanna melt your heart [attr="class","sugarbody"] Indeed one out of nowhere question was deserving of another as he only smiled at this and nodded in due knowledge of such a thing before gazing out to the world. He had found it to be favorable at least and fair for that matter while having made sense of his classes for the most part. When it came to him having asked about joining up in a party one of these days she did respond in a matter that he found to be quite favorable for the most part though it wasn’t something he truly had a large expectation for until she brought up leveling up. It reminded him that he too needed to level up at some point and he should stop wasting so much time and just get on with trying to gain as many levels as he could. Though there was little he could really do about it for the most part given the lack of desire for it. However she soon spoke about peace broken by danger and he only blinked at this as she began to be doing something or other until he listened to her speak about slithery friends requiring them to party up. He hefted his single pistol with a bit of a spin as he put into it a single round, oh how he hated these guns for that very matter. These starter pistols requiring a single shot ammo was something he despised as it seemed to take a lot of time to really focus on anything but at least with one shot he then looked around before having sent out the party invite to her as he let her get all set up how she wanted. He was going to be the main offensive while he channeled his skills in the efforts of strategy. He measured distances of just where certain things were as he spoke, “Alright, if you are unfamiliar with my heretic skills, beware that standing too close to me can give you corruption. I want you to stay back with me in between you and the others as you put it I am the offensive. I don’t want you to be in too much danger but at the same time beware of the miasma corruption I spew. Too much and you’ll lose yourself.” He warned her while channeling this corruption, having a countdown in his mind of just where they were going to spawn as he had the right skill combination in mind just prior to what he’ll do with the actual power behind his weapons. He needed to be able to adjust and attack as best he could and hopefully with some corruption skills he can do just that. Once the countdown started at the five seconds he began channeling the potency when placing himself directly in the center of all these enemies spawn points as he looked around and smiled. Two were fine, and the third was just barely in the two meter range as he channeled the blackness around himself and started to slowly channel this violet mist before it shot around himself exactly at the point of spawn so the curtain was raised. The black mist launching out and around himself as he only grinned and let the powers of his spew out and torture these things. His energy having shaken the opponents in kind with some extra damage with the efforts he had concentrated during the cast time. Charging up that mist before spilling it out in order to do more damage in the matter of having the violet mist become darker in color to the max charge. In total it did 40% more damage and hit all the targets for 4 points of corruption as he immediately jumped back with a shot shooting out to one of the level fours while the shot wasn’t critical it was a good well placed shot that hit it directly into the chest while he slid back a bit before breathing heavily while taking a significant immediately counter attack from the level five with a whip of a tail that hit him, he barely took damage but he felt a shatter, there was a barrier that just broke while he quickly began reloading his gun while he was also channeling energy for yet another attack. His miasma being the very necessity of what he needed to attack and drag the life down as much as possible and as down as he can. This was a fight he needed, but at the same time he worried for the other individual. He knew her chosen class wasn’t that great in close combat, he had to provide enough distraction as possible so to help her out, it was what he felt was needed. ••Glacis Rainmaker•• Now, When Glacis had been making her character, before this whole Catastrophe nonsense, she had read through all of the classes, but the only ones she really paid any mind to were the support ones. That said, she did remember reading that the Heretic class was quite a bit different when compared to all of the other classes. It was just that up until now, she did not remember exactly why that was. She jut knew that they were different and, for lack of a better term, darker. Of course Glacis' mind had already been set to either Cleric or Shaman at that point, So she had more or less skimmed over the information about most of the other class choices. Now she remembered just what made heretics different and ultimately more complex. Miasma. Corruption. To be honest, the woman did not quite understand, just reading through it at first. It was just a proximity debuff, right? With the proper strategy, it would only be a minor inconvenience, right? Well, now that she was seeing it for herself, she understood. A feeling that was no doubt amplified by the fact she was seeing it in person, as opposed to through a computer screen. Just before the snakes had spawned in, the shaman was warned to stay back, as Ryosuke's miasma could corrupt her. Not really understanding what he meant, she took his word for it, backing up several paces and ending up a few meters behind the gunslinger. It was not until the battle started that she got it. It was very fascinating just how potent such a dark power was. The mere visibility of the miasma's purple veil caught Glacis a bit off guard. Something told her that if she had been in range for that attack, the corruption would most likely be a bit more than just an "minor inconvenience". Of course now Glacis had a problem. Though it would not be for much, the only way she could add to the damage was to get close enough to start whacking snakes with her stick. However, with Ryosuke the Heretic doing Heretic things, She would not be able to do that without taking a risk she was not at that point willing to take. Normally, this would not be a very big issue. After all, Glacis was support, not DPS. Her class was not designed to be the one doing damage, fine. But with Damage interception already up, there was nothing she could do but wait until she was needed again. Her class was more suited to bigger parties, a fact that Glacis found amusing since Ryosuke, as a heretic, probably would not do the best in bigger parties, just based on observation. Still, with nothing to do that would help, she could only watch at a safe enough distance, making sure the enemy did not pull any surprises, or at least any surprises that a snake could pull off. Note to self, she thought. Grind for a ranged Skill.
