Elder tale was supposed to be one of those game which Saorsie plays secretly with a little help from her loyal butler to relieve her stress and trying to get to know that out world more (so far it is a failure), before she got bored with the game and drop it casually, without any announcement or donation from her character inventory. She was not a big gamer to begin with nor excels at it. However, this particular predicament which she faced now is out of the world, the game becomes her reality. She could feel her character , <Suspicious> , figure, the clothe, the pants, and everything. She felt uncomfortable with somethings, one of them is the sight level of her that doesn't match with Saorsie. <Suspicious> is slightly taller than Saorsie which make her feel awkward while walking, it took a quite time for her to walk without any feeling to crash to the ground, all of her perception is off this past minutes.Despite that, there is one thing that she feel the most uncomfortable with, the fact that <Suspicious> is a 'he' rather than a 'she'. This is not her first time playing a character opposite gender of her, but until now that's only something on the other side of the screen which she couldn't feel anything from the character. However, now she could feel a 'part' where a woman shouldn't have and her voice is slightly deeper that her real one. This may be her now, but she felt alienated. She ran away really fast avoiding people around her. She doesn't know what to feel at the moment, confused? Scared? Insecure? Depressed? Excited? or all of them mixed into one.She perform [high jump], one of the roleplaying skills from Acrobats, to jump across the bench to a street lamp followed by rooftop by jumping from the edge of respective floor. Weird enough, when she tried to jump like that for the first time in the game, she felt so alive. The wind which hit her face, the lightness of her new body and the scenery she witness from the rooftop from a building. From there she could see whole Londonium City, the starting place for a beginner like herself. She could see a lot of NPC wandering around city, she witness some of the NPC quite shock to see some of the adventurer engage a fired conversation to the NPC, and it happen to the other way around too. She stood up and the first step she take, she fell down and she almost fell from the rooftop if it weren't for the steel wire fence. 'Ouch!' She pat her nose that just got stamped with wire pattern. She swear, she would practice her body experience to avoid this kind of shame. Thanks god she was alone at the premise right now. What should she do now? She don't want to drop her character trait now, it has been set for her since beginning. She should continue acting as male even though an obstacle has appear, She activate [High Jump] again to level down to the street. It was easy for her to walk across the street without any disturbance from the landers. Everyone steered away from her character feeling the uncomfortable aura from here. 'Eep~' A woman lander who accidentally bump to the assassin, yelp surprised and gives a quick sorry and run away. It is hard to admit, but that quite hurt for her. Something a pain strikes hard on her chest, but her face remain steady and serious with leaving any crack on it. She must stay strong or she will break her own ideal. She hate losing, and breaking this character up is the sign that she has lost to the pressure. She could remember the last thing she done in the real world. For this past days, Nightingale mansion has been quite hectic, especially in the housekeeper headquarters, which separated from the main house. Housekeeper Headquarters is the home of Nightingale family butlers and maids on different range of ages, on the record list, there are five maids and five butlers each of them has their own head master, known as the head butler and the head maid. The sole heir of Nightingale family has order the head butler, Allen, who also her personal butler to set up a place for her to surf the internet in the headquarters. She wanted the process to be a secret from the main house, therefore she planned out a procedure. They will only allow one or two technicians to blend in to the mansion periodically in the disguises as the housekeeper, as for the hardware will be transported from the hidden passage that lead from the headquarters basement to an elm tree outside the mansion area, in normal occasion the passage was used for escape route if there anything happen. The one who transport the hardware were completely done by the butlers. She didn't forget to left out some butler and maid to keep serving on the main house to avoid any suspicions. Allen has run back and forth monitoring everything and make sure that there is no worker who makes a useless detour, it is not surprising to find that Saorsie is pleased with the flow. Allen clear his throat and catch a breath after scolding a technician who purposely make a detour which almost resulted to alarm the guard dog 'Young lady, Saorsie, may i share one of my concern with you as a butler?' The butler bow politely asking for a permission to continue. Saorsie has suspected that sooner or later the butler will have a doubt. he may serve her as a personal butler, however he still has responsibility to report in to the master, in this case it is Saorsie's dad. 'I am--' She purposely make a pause there, to build a good and convincing statement '-- In a good mood right now, continue' She let the end of the word hang loose, as a sign for the butler to voice out his question 'As the head butler, i can't help it but to feel the concern. Is this necessary my lady? If you want to know about the society, i personally can ask master to hire a tutor to teach you. You don't need to take the risk, the world is not as good as how the fairy tale describe on the literature' Saorsie let out a chuckle little bit before answer the question 'Allen, my dear butler. As you can see that is the actual point from all of this.' she spread out her arms to show the scenery in front of her, a worker in butler disguise walking cautiously accompanied by one of the real butler 'As you know, i have a set of skill. However, until now i never had a chances to apply it in real life properly. That is the reason why i take this risk am i tough enough for the real life, since sooner or later i will be faced it.' Saorsie's expression change to dissatisfied and kick Allen butler gently 'and that for the accusation. I am not as naive as you though i be, Allen. I have seen my father works' Allen bow down apologetic, it took a moment before he speaks again ' I have no chances on changing your mind, have I?' Allen's old wise yet sharp brown eye fixated with Saorsie's green wide eyes exchanging a silent agreement. This past 17 years serving Saorsie as her personal butler. Allen has come to a certain degree of understanding on what Saorsie usually think just by fixing his eyes to the young lady. He sighed and give up the idea to change her mind, he notice there is one butler who just sitting around 'Hey you, why are you here? The one that wasn't appointed by young lady should get back to their original duty. Master has meeting at five o'clock. Chop chop' that young butler stood up abruptly and apologize. That's the last time Saorsie spoke with Allen, before the catastrophe happens. Her train of nostalgia was interrupted by a lady, a well clothe lady that shows her status. She suddenly bump to Suspicious in hurry, like she was running from someone. When she was going to run away without any apologize or sort of like that, Suspicious grabs the lady. The lady try to break through from Suspicious hand, however the difference of strength is quite huge. The lady in front of her is a people of the land, while she is an adventurer, both of the share different physique. 'Let go-' her angry tone was killed down by two showy adventurer, one with striking red armor and a katana with a hideous mask, while the other wears a robe with sunrise color and a halo encircle his collar while he hold a long wooden staff, a wing was engraved at the top of the staff. 'Hello m'lady, would you come back to us nicely' the guy with robe, a summoner she assumes, keep his expression monotone. 'Yeah come back with us, and-' the red guy, a samurai, point his katana to Suspicious '-you don't think to butt in' The man laughing loudly to the point of annoyance. Suspicious stare at the lady cowering behind her since that man appear, all of her angry expression changes to scared, like a trapped animal. What does she actually do to make them desperately want her. The samurai didn't hide their desperation to take her back with no matter what, due that he jump to conclusion that Suspicious might help her escape. Would she? Saorsie decided the deciding factors, what would Suspicious do in this matter. Saorsie decides that Suspicious is the the type of person who stay quiet and calm if it doesn't concern him, however personally she hate pushover guys. 'Don't be afraid, little kid. You aren't real anyway' The summoner keep calm in this matter. No doubt or whatsoever. His sentences ring a bell on Saorsie mind He is right Suspicious isn't real, no one would know what she would do in this matter. The advantage she has now is that she is still beginner, no one knows the characteristic of Suspicious. She can set standard by herself. She decide to take a move on this mater, she carefully put her hand on her pocket where she store all of her throwing knife until a ping appear on her head 'Don't, not here' A male voice warn her. The voice caught off guard a little bit, why would he warn her about that. Perhaps he is one of their accomplish. Her doubt clear away after he talks again 'if you do it here, you will awake the guards. Trust me you don't want to see the guards. Lure them out of the safe area or run away' He has a point, before she emerge to this game, she has read the guideline. City is a safezone, if the player make a harm on other player the unstoppable guard will appear and kill you. 'Hey come one, come here' The katana man seems has lost interest on the summoner diplomatic way. He might just thought that attacking both of us will solve everything faster. Suspicious need to take decision fast. She grabs the lady on the waist 'excuse me' and activate the [high jump] for the third time. e lady is quite light, despite her heigh is same with her neck level and her figure well..not so thin but not fat either. The two showy guys shout at the distance Both of the girls (well it's a he for Suspicious case) landed on one of the rooftop, at that time suspicious has decided to make rooftop as her favorite place. She put down the girl down 'You..You are the same as them... you are monster' She accused with a sharp jab with her finger pointing at me. This girl has spunk Saorsie acknowledge it 'your welcome' Saorsie bow sarcastically 'you can't go down by yourself if you didn't thank me and tell me why they are chasing you' Saorsie lean her back to the one and only door that lead to the downstair The girl is hesitating to answer Suspicious question. It's no wonder, no one in their right mind would share their troubles to anyone who practically a stranger and hostile based on her perspective. If Saorsie could guess what's wrong with this lady was that she hold a grudge toward adventurer, she might pass a hardship that adventurer forced her to do. 'Speak' Saorsie has run out all of her patience, she literally snarled at the lady. It might not a ladylike for a girl snarled like a beast, but this won't get her anywhere, everything will stay on stalemate. She need to take the initiative and force her to spit out, and it seems that the snarling action just done the right thing. 'E-Ev-Everything ha-happens to-o fast' Her voice are quivering and stuttering, it looks like she is struggling to make her voice come out, all of her spunk she has before got washed away with the snarled. Okay, Saorsie might have gone overboard with the snarl. 'Look kid, i am sorry for snarling at you that's all..now tell me what happen too fast actually?' Suspicious tone down her tone of speaking and pat the girl head 'first off, it is a common sense to introduce yourself before asking for help. My name is Suspicious, what's your name kid' Suddenly her face expression change 'I am not a kid' from that statement, Suspicious realize that she hit the 'getting-on-her-nerve' button. When she thought she may not introduce her name anymore, she start telling Suspicious her name 'I am sorry for my lack of courtesy before. I am grateful for what you did to me, mr.Suspicious. My name is Alice Redwing, from Redwing family' She changed her speech pattern, from her full of courage tone to polite tone. However, Saorsie notice there are something weird with her tone, like something restrain her, make her feel an agony. She understood her feeling, Alice feels that she wanted to run from responsibilities as being a noble, want to rebel from everything. However, us, a young noble, need to attain a certain expectation to / from older nobles and other officials. She must be dislike the polite politician tone. 'Drop the act, i am not a noble nor official that you need to flatter up' She decided that Alice is a type of girl who is easy to read, since after she point that out, the girl's expression brighten up. Saorsie knows that she had a lot of hardship to get here now, she doesn't deserve to burden with an extra weight. The assassin take a sit on a bench. She observe her surrounding. There are only one exit door from here, so she could extinguished the idea of an assault from behind. Behind her is steel wire fence and there are several white sheet hang around waiting for it dries. 'Well..for starter, sit down and tell me your story' The petite red haired girl take a sit and start with her tale. 'Everything has started since three or two weeks ago, a bunch of rowdy adventure suddenly barge in to Redwings mansion with a strong word bark out from their pitiful mouth.--' The story was started when the sun was half way to be part of the ground, now it is completely gone after Alice told her tale. Saorsie tapping his knee pondering what should she do next, from the story she knows that the place that Alice's called home has been taken away by some rogue adventurer. Seems that people of the land doesn't know the fact that adventurer couldn't harm any people on the safe zone, since they got driven away just using a word and intimidation; which not counted as harm to the guard. She suddenly realized the real question in this matter 'So, Alice..What plan do you have in your sleeve from now on?' <Suspicious> realize by asking this question means she accept the quest she gives. There is no exit from this little story she would unfold. 'Ideally, i would take back my family glory, shove away the trespasser on the redwing's holy ground and teach them a lesson.' Alice eyes is full of determination, however determination without any skills won't give any result, all she is going to end up is a trash can. Saorsie scratch her chin. At this point, she couldn't leave her alone, it would be heartless if she ended up doing so. However, she is not strong enough to help her alone and she don't have any acquaintance yet in this game, since she come alone. That two rascals would probably await them on the Redwings mansion, she steal peek on their level. Obviously both of them has been out leveled her if somehow they are going to fight. And obviously that two of them is only the minority of their group, she doesn't know the actual number of them. Based on Alice is it is a group, so she speculate it wasn't a small number which she could outsmarted them. Her martial arts sensei has teach her countless time, don't take a fight where you know that you couldn't win it. However, since she saved her from those two guys, she will take the fight wether the chances of her winning is low. She glare at Alice sharply which make her flinched. 'I will help you for this time. Tell me all the detail that you have forgotten to tell me' The assassin remember the mysterious voice from before, she tried to get back in touch with that mysterious voice.
