Humming to himself and with rather well used cloth in one hand, Eadon was busily wiping over the counter in the front room of the smithy. With the sun recently up, and a rather pleasant day looming outside Eadon almost wanted to be out actually adventuring but it was still... nice? To know he had a place to call his own, here. Reid, the master smith who owned the forge, was a really nice man - even if most people couldn't understand a word of what he said.
Eadon just hoped that the thick, Scottish highlands accent that his new employer sported wouldn't rub off on him too much. Exposure to ridiculous amounts of MTV and British television had kept him from forming the accent on his own, but Eadon did still sound notably Scottish as well. Having been born and raised on the Isle of Skye did that to a person, after all.
Moving on to the window at the front of the store, Eadon pulled back the latch and opened the shop up to customers, wiping the window over as he went. It would probably help a lot if they actually paid someone who was good at this stuff to do the cleaning, but for now the lowly apprentice - also known as Eadon - got the job.
The young adventurer was, despite his generally outgoing and happy go lucky attitude, not entirely opposed to it however. He liked to keep things at least somewhat neat, it helped with his creativity.
"There, all clean and ready to go. i should go get the forge started up," Eadon said out loud, turning around and heading back into the shop, before starting up the large furnace that dominated the room, "Now to wait and see what kind of customers we get today."
Reid, as seemed to be the usual since Eadon had started, was notably absent from the shop. He seemed to be taking advantage of the fact that he now had someone else to watch over things to spend more time with his family. Eadon smiled, not begrudging the older man his time away from work even a little bit. It was a great learning experience - Eadon hoped to be able to run his own shop someday, so learning the basics now was better than having to learn them later where mistakes could cost him big time.
He had not been here long, but already he was getting into a routine and steadily learning all kinds of useful things about the art of the smith. At the rate he was going, Eadon would not be surprised if he soon became one of the premiere player blacksmith's in town. He had already had a few requests, and more were surely soon to come.
Sneaking into the back room, Eadon quickly poured himself a cup of coffee before heading back out into the front of the shop, warm beverage clasped between his hands and eyes glued to the door and the bell hanging over it. People always tended to come in the mornings, so it was just a matter of waiting.
If not so patiently on his part.

I GET ALONG WITH THE VOICES INSIDE OF MY HEAD
Weegee usually sat in his tree, pondering just how and why they had been brought into this world. Sure, he loved it so far, and despite being unable to reunite with many of his old friends, he had met a few new ones in a short amount of time, despite a few complications of course. He had gotten stronger, this world giving him the chance to do things he could only dream of in the real world. But, here he found himself in front of a smithy, one of the few in town that was run by a Person of the Land. Of course, it was closed when he had arrived, but the door was opened in no time as he waited. Silently watching as someone came out and cleaned the windows, Weegee would simply follow him in. He would wait politely at the counter for the man to finish up everything he needed to do before watching him go into the back room.
When the man turned around, Weegee would simply wave at him and wait for him to come to the counter. "Good morning there, you run this shop, perhaps? Well, I hope at least you can smith, I have a rather, strange idea I'd like to have completed, and perhaps you're just the person to help me with it. If you can that is. If not, well, I'll have to wait for someone who can, unless I'm in the wrong place, like normal, then I'd like some directions." As he rambled on, he rubbed the back of his head as he seemingly stared at the man behind the counter. "Anyways, if you know someone good with making weapons, especially throwing or large sized weapons, I'd love to meet them." Of course, if he found that the man before him could do the work, he'd begin to elaborate on just what he had entailed.
"I'd like a single throwing star. But, unlike most you'd have ordered, I'd like mine to be, well, enormous. Imagine, if you would, a throwing star with a handle in its center, that can be used both like a melee weapon and a throwing weapon. Maybe it's a little off the wall, but hey, can't go anywhere in life without a few crazy ideas, right?"

Eadon hummed a little, hand playing idly with the knot on the Celtic style bracelet he had had made by one of the tailors in town. The guys request was unusual, sure, but it wasn't exactly going to be difficult to do, just requiring a little bit of ingenuity and a few interesting modifications to the usual design of a throwing star. Nodding to himself, Eadon smiled. He would be able to make this bizarre weapon, no worries. It would be a good break from the usual boring requests he got, that was for sure.
"No, I do not run this shop. The owner is out at the moment... I'm an apprentice here though. I can' definitely fulfill this request of yours," Eadon replied happily, noting down exactly what was asked of him on an order form, in between sips of coffee, "If you could just fill in your details and sign this form guaranteeing payment for materials used, and indicating any additional payment you wish to make, it would be much appreciated..."
Satisfied that his customer would be busy for at least a little while, Eadon went and turned the forge on, quickly melting down the ingredients he would need and making sure everything was ready to begin the craft. Really, it would not be too huge a task. Unusual, sure. But not exactly something he would struggle with.
Grinning in amusement, Eadon was reminded of a weapon he had seen in an anime he had watched once. Broken blade, or something.
"Hey, you aren't a fan of anime perhaps, are you?"
Not waiting on an answer, Eadon quickly returned to work, pulling out the metal and grabbing a hammer, before beginning the process of beating the metal out into the desired shape. Getting it exactly as his mystery customer had described would be the trick, but Eadon could picture the weapon perfectly in his mind. A throwing star was not difficult, but making it so massive and keeping the balance and the weight just right would be the real trick on the project.
Lost once more in his work, Eadon become kind of uncontactable by the outside world, deeply fixated on his current project as he was. The ninja star was coming into shape pretty quickly...
