100%HP 100%MPHawk was interested in a rumor he heard about a underground cave that could yield ingredients for his subclass. This was great for him to hear since he did not have much gold to go shopping in the market place, there was also rumors about some beasts lurking in the caves as well. This did not trouble him as much, since he would be in a party of six for the quest, who would be there he did not know. He was the first to reach the cave as he waited for the rest of the party to show up he looked at the cave. Hawk grinned a little anxtious for the challange that was infront of him and was excited for the reward of ingredients that he might be able to get from the cave. Such as meats or mushrooms, heck there might even be spices. or salts down there. All Hawk knew was that this was going to be fun slaying some beasts and getting some exp. He sat on a rock in front of the gave for a few moments seeing resting his sword next to him. He let his face bathe in the sunlight for a little before he noticed a man approaching him. It was no random person though he looked familiar as the man got closer a grin came across Hawks face. It was the Warden Noir, Noir and him had already been in combat and socially acquainted at the festival. Hawk was pleased to see a familiar face that he could trust for this expedition. Hawk rose from his seat and walked towards Noir and held out his hand for hand shake. " Its good to see a familiar face." Now that one of the members had shown up there was only four more to wait for. After shaking hands with the Warden he went to his seat and pulled out his bottle of Saki and began to drink. He then turned to the Warden, " Want Some"? Word Count; 334 Noir Mellow Polack calm edelweiss

Noir had suddenly found himself wandering around in a strange forest. Not that he had gotten lost but because he had accepted a party invitation that was posted on a board. He wasn’t exactly sure who it was that had posted the request but he was excited nonetheless. Noir had never been to this forest before. It was thriving and full of wildlife. Noir was just happy he hadn’t been attacked yet. The animals probably didn’t see him as a threat due to his level so they left him alone. Which made Noir extremely lucky, mainly due to the fact it allowed him to travel at his own leisurely pace and enjoy the scenery around him. The plant life was truly beautiful as there were many different radiant colored species. And the way the light shined through the leaves gave a very serene feel about the entire place. Suddenly Noir found himself at a fork in the road. And suddenly he found himself in a flashback. Next thing Noir knew he was in a Humvee with his platoon. They were riding along a dirt road in the desert when all of a sudden there was an explosion and their vehicle flipped. Moments later Noir found himself being pulled from the wreckage as he heard the various pops of ak47s and saw the bodies of his comrades fall to the ground one by one. All around him were members of the Taliban. Each shouting various phrases of Arabic at Noir. Noir himself was covered in cuts and bruises from the car wreck, and his ears were ringing. The next thing he knew, he was being tossed into the back of a car and driven off. Sudden Noir was back in the game. It had appeared he zoned out and had some sort of post-traumatic stress disorder flashback. It was weird because he had gone this entire time without having one. He shook it off and took a right at the fork. As he continued down the path it lead to an opening which lead to a massive field. Out in the distance he could see what was probably the entrance to the cave that he was supposed to show up at. Noir entered into the clearing and instantly the sun beat down upon him. The wind blew against his cheek, as he took a deep breath. It was a beautiful area, Noir looked up into the sky and saw a flock of birds fly across the clearing. A smile drew across his face as he began walking towards the cave. As Noir came closer and closer to the cave entrance he saw a man. The closer he got the more prominent his features became and the more family he became. Noir then noticed it was a man he had not only been in combat with, but a man he had enjoyed a night at the lunar festival with. “Hawk!” He shouted, as he approached the cave entrance and shook the hand of the man that had approached him. “It is good to see you again, I should’ve expected you would be one of the other party members.” He followed Hawk over and sat down. He looked over with a smile after being asked about sake. “No thanks, I have to be sober so I am able to kill the monsters with great precision.” All that was really left to do was wait for the other members of the party to arrive so that adventuring can actually begin. Noir was worried that the cave may have really strong monsters but with enough people in the group there should really be no trouble dealing with them. ▲ 613 WORDS ● TAGGED Kirkwall Ross Polack Calm edelweiss ● notes hp 100% MP 100%

Polack || a cave, dunno, not being creative with that title thing || Polack was heading towards his destination. He has accepted a party request that he has found on a notice board earlier. First he didn't actually were interested, but due to a coincidence, he overheared people talking about the cave that was the destination of the party. A cave that was filled with different valuable ingredients. Maybe he could also boost up his crafting level afterwards? He needed the materials for sure. He couldn't just walk around spending money blindly and if he could save money by doing something himself, he was more than positive to do it. So after finding out about the cave, he went back to the notice board and for more details and accepted this. The animals within the forest he was passing weren't even noticing him and he figured that it was because of his low level. Actually he was glad about that, since he wanted to make his way towards his destination as fast as possible. " Kurwa!" He suddenly yapped up as he stumbled over something hard. Standing up from the ground, he turned around to what he fell over and he couldn't believe, that he has managed to simply stumble over a damn rock. But the rock reminded him of something actually... He should focus god damn it. This wasn't the time to space out like this. Continuing his walk, he spaced out again anyway. As he heard about the cave's worth, he also started to make his ear overhear one or two more details about it. Like everything, the cave had a downside aswell. The monsters in the cave are quite dangerous, which is why he should actually focus, which he doesn't right now. Polack knew, that no monster was too strong if you had the right tactic and team work, but with a random party like this, how were they supposed to correctly cooperate. Polack seriously didn't know but it didn't lower his enthusiasm to give it a try. He thought about what kind of team he would hope for and after afew minutes, he came to the conclusion, that the best solution would be (additionally to Polack) a healer, an enchanter, another long ranged attacker, a tank and a monk. Why he came to such a conclusion? It was simply something Polack's guts were telling him. He heavily hoped, that the everyone would have the right sense in their mind and not be fooling around. Polack has seen a few people completely changing from since they got within the game (well, he assumed that it was because of the game, they might have been little whimps like that outside the game aswell). There were two types of derranged people since Elder Tale was everyone's reality: the ones that are completely derranged and keep on doing crazy and unreasonable stuff and the ones that are so scared of everything, that they won't even take up on anything and get so demotivated by everything, that they aren't able to contribute anything. Both of them were good for nothing for obvious reasons. A person that was simply unpredictable and simply won't stop to cause troubles for the whole team was not only irritating, but also endangering. On the other side a person who doesn't have the morale to act can't be entrusted with anything. Polack simply had to hope, that those other five people weren't any of those. As he reached the cave, he immediately saw the two other people. They were talking, so they might have not noticed Polack, but he also decided to simply stay silent and walk up to them. They seemed to know each other, which was actually an advantage, considering that they should be better able to work together. He looked at their stats and saw a warden and a samurai, both level one. Actually that wasn't that bad, Polack thought to himself. After a few seconds of thoughts and after reaching a suitable range, he decided to limit himself to a simple " Hello.". Polack wondered what they would be like and he hoped they would continue to talk, so he could get himself an image of those two. Meanwhile he looked at the entrace of the cave. It was huge, which was kind of expectable, but still quite a sight when seen with own eyes. In general Elder Tale's beauty kept on fascinating the young male and he was pretty sure that it would never cease to stay this way. He simply couldn't wait to discover this beauty.

It had not been long since Mellow told him to meet him for a mission around a cave. Seemed like a random question, but he wasn’t quite sure. Calm and his brother both had the initial goal of becoming strong so that he could enact his revenge, so a small quest would be a great idea for reaching that goal. Not really quite sure what to bring on a quest, Calm brought nothing but his sword and the clothing on his back. He left the city and started traveling towards this cave, but before he would be line, he decided to detour through a plain to fight a couple of monsters face to face. A slime or two at a time, taking minimal damage, nothing he could recover over time. At this very moment these slimes were sort of a challenge (Or at least more of a challenge than what they should be), but they were also the weakest monsters in the game, it upset him to see that he was so weak, he should be killing slimes simply by looking at them funny, he needed to get stronger just wasn’t quite sure what the best way to grind was. Calm continued to press forward slaying many of slimes and leaving behind himself many of green puddles in his wake. Sort of boring at this point, he needed to get to this cave and worry about more important matters. He continued until he left the plains, the slimes would celebrate the day the slime slayer left, it would be considered a holiday and stories of a brave slime who fended him off would be told to all the slime kids to come. With his pathfinding ability, battle perception he approached the cave and because of the ability, he could tell that there were more people at the cave, careful about keeping his distance, he decided to hide and scout forward to make sure that those who were standing near the cave were not enemies of any kind. He climbed a tree, hiding in its foliage in an attempt to not be seen and progressed forward slowly to get an eye on those ahead of him. Current Accessories: N/A "Ugggggh! I don't wanna go!"Currently, Mellow was in the midst of slacking off in a tavern somewhere in London; drinking his issues away with..ORANGE JUICE?! AWE COME ON WHAT IS THIS SCRIPT I'M READING?! Anyway, *cough cough*, Megani had taken up a seat next to him; irritated with his behavior. "Hey..HEY..You were the one who called him over there. You can't just be lazy all of the sudden and have him do it by himself, now can you?!" Mellow grunted in response; shifting around in his chair while taking another swig..of OJ "I can not believe that you are being this lazy right now! You orchestrated the entire thing! You even put up the rumor yourself so you could get some people to party with! Don't shy away from the challenge now that you suddenly realized people would actually come! Aren't you supposed to be making a guild or something soon? Go greet your party members and recruit them in, already!". --- FLASH BACK TIME --- "Hey Megani" "Yeah?""Let's start a quest.""WHAT?!"It'd been sometime after Mellow & Calm's encounter with the nefarious assassin, Saber. Once they'd revived in the cathedral, they exchanged their friend addresses and went their separate ways; knowing nothing could be done until either he or Calm were level 15. Originally he hadn't intended on contacting Calm again until that goal was reached, but this opportunity was too good to waste. "I've been doing some low-key research on some of the places London has to offer. They've got some really beautiful landscapes but nothing that speaks out to the adventurer inside of me; or so I thought." He pulled out a map, pointing to a location known as "Londinium Underground" "I've been hearing from player to player about a grand ol amount of crafting materials located inside these caves. There's enough material to satisfy any one of the crafting classes." She nodded, loving the sound of getting her hands on some new tailor material "But here's the catch. There are some real nasty level 5 Kobolds in that dungeon.. but it's not just the fact that they're in there that's the problem.. Here's the part I won't tell them until I get there----They're the ones who have the materials we're looking for."
Megani's eyes widened, beginning to question Mellow's motives as he raised his hand; motioning that he was going to continue speaking. "I bet you're wondering why I'm not going to tell them right?" She nodded "It's easy to explain. Some people, after learning they'd have to fight Level 5 Kobolds to get their material may not be so willing to go; especially if it's just a rumor. The party members I'm looking for are those who are wiling to go..already knowing the Kobolds contain their materials." Megani began flailing "But how will they know if you don't tell them?!" Mellow crossed his arms, sitting down on a nearby bench as he patted the seat for her to come sit "The people who approach this quest will be those who are indeed coming for the materials, they also know that Kobolds infest the place; but they will also be prepared for the fact that the Kobolds may contain their materials, hell, they might even think ahead and prepare for a possible boss encounter! Those members who come prepared, despite the challenge that lies ahead of them, those who will continue to seek out their desires without fear; those are the members that I'm looking for." She sighed, shrugging before getting up. "Well then, what are we waiting for? Let's go start us a rumor." Oh, and don't forget to invite Calm, too! ---PRESENT!---"FINE FINE FINE! I'll go, alright? Just stop your yelling at me; you know it's giving us both a headache." Getting up from his table, he paid the bartender and made his way out of the tavern; hands in pockets as he headed towards his destination. "Londinium Underground, right? That's where I'm meeting everyone?" She stopped in her tracks, palm to face as she let out a large sigh " Yes, Mellow..My dear how could you forget something so quickly?" He shrugged "I unno, laziness?". Deciding it would be best to drop the topic, she gave up; wrapping her arms around Mellow's right arm as they moved forward; The Underground in their sights. [ONE TRAVEL SEQUENCE LATER!]"Uh..what?"Upon arriving to the scene, both Mellow & Megani were surprised to see more people than expected..but..what a bunch he'd received. " Hawk, The Samurai. He's a level 1 one like me and could definitely come in handy for this adventure but.." He looked over his person once or twice just to confirm his suspicions "Why does he look so much like Alucard?..". Next up was Noir, The Warden. Now this guy was particularly interesting to Mellow because this was the first time he'd seen a warden, not only that, he could tell he had much more experience with his guns than he led on; possibly a war veteran or something in his previous life? Last but not least was-- "What's with this guy's scar?". Before him was a rather odd looking Polack, The Assassin. Clearly he was leading the life of an archer; his garb alone showed that much. "Wait a moment.. don't I know you from some where?..". Megani looked around, feeling as if this wasn't the last of the members to arrive, she placed her hands on her hips; letting out a small hmph as she asked the question Mellow as about to ask before he could even ask it. "Where's Calm?". In any case, Mellow had to at least greet the current members; it was time for small talk! "Hmm-mm! Yo. I see you guys came too?" He looked towards the tunnel, acting as if he'd never seen it until now "It's pretty vast..I hope it gives me a challenge". He looked towards the three men, hoping to start getting to know his potential recruits before the others had time to arrive. "Well, since we're going to be teaming up for quite some time, why don't we get to know one another? Let's start with you, Samurai." Hah..hah..Mellow..that samurai's making me---- MEGANI I SWEAR TO GOD! The Wheel Of Fate Is Turning Rebel 1, Begin Days, weeks, months... How long had actually passed since the Apocalypse? Edelweiss could not fathom it. To be perfectly honest, he had spent his time before and after living his life on autopilot, taking things at a rather nonchalant pace. He figured he was within the game when he was able to directly interact with a user interface from it, but he did not think much of it. He had experienced lucid dreams before and this felt oddly similar. Though as a man of theory and plot he could not simply shrug it off. Never one to brood on the unimportant for too long, this strange feeling lingered with him through his time in Elder Tale’s new reality and drove him to believe something far more significant was at hand.
Wrapping his brain around it was not doing him any favors, and truthfully only served to drive him further from himself. He was lost. He did not know where he was, what he was doing, what to do, or even who he really was. This state of mind left him wandering around towns slowly and lifelessly questioning anything he could to get a grasp on things. Eventually, he did adjust and adapt to a leisurely and lazed style of life, drifting to and fro before he finally stumbled upon the thread that tied it all together for him.
A quest. A quest of all things. That one basic string that all games shared at their core. There was a quest, be it player-made or programmer-made, it was something that served to bring the player further into the game. A goal, if you will. Edelweiss had a tad bit of an epiphany. No longer did he bother with wandering and wondering. He embraced it. He was now a living, breathing participant in the story of Elder Tale, except that story had yet to be written. Edelweiss’s ego kicked into overdrive...or maybe it just kicked in.
Edelweiss was driven to write his own story and carve it into legend-hood. He had done it before in other things he had set his hands to outside of Elder Tale, so why not take a shot at it here? Of course, a lone enchanter of low level wasn’t going to get very far very fast. Before him in town was that key to open the path to for him to write his own legacy. A step into the vast infinitude of the future. Simple but a start, he thought. Spelunking for experience and materials, the usual initiation quests provided in games of this magnitude.
Again however, a lone support can’t face the world alone. After all, it was in his nature to assist people, and in this case assist people and himself in achieving a higher capacity. Thus he had joined a party and set off on his way to dive into the cave the quest designated. “Hmm, I wonder what kind of individuals I’ll encounter?” Edelweiss mumbled to himself as he sauntered out of the town gates, into the wilderness. “Of course, these arrangements are more than capable of being temporary should things prove to be sour...”
Thud, thwap, thud, thwap. Footsteps shuffled and clunked in a melancholy rhythm along the road, all the while Edelweiss ran strategies by in his imagination. Would they have a healer? Would they need one? How many classes would be there to tank and how many to damage and disperse? Would he be the only support? Would enemies have any resistances to a select or broad spectrum of the group’s skills? Would all of their weapons be effective given the need to use them? What kind of cover would be present? What kind of arenas would they find themselves in?
All of these things played very key roles in combat, at least in his own experience with various other games. It was not too terribly long before he wound up on his way to the maw of the earthen abyss, noting a few others that had presumably arrived before him. Although Edelweiss was not too certain of how on-time he was, or if there even was a schedule set. Before taking to conversation and introducing himself however, Edelweiss reflected on the luscious and vivid environments he passed through to get here, and how the monsters minded their own business. It was kind of quaint, really pleasant if you will...
“ Hello hello!” Edelweiss spoke up with a louder tone, keeping his posture straight and feigning a smile coupled with a wave of his hand. He hoped he was not interrupting too much, but it seemed as though things had piped down quite a bit and were not too terribly lively. “I hope I’ve not arrived too late and you’ve gone and dove in without me.” It was awkward and forced, and far less ecstatic than his greeting conjecture, but Edelweiss was not even completely sure these were to be his party members. Perhaps it was just another group who had finished, or was about to start. Ere on the side of caution.
