| | ----Londinium. Hours before the event----
In a darkened alleyway, on a day like any other, Mellow paced back and forth; something very special taking place on this day. "I can't believe we received such a turn out." Megani had been sitting on the ground, staring up at the sky with a smile on her face and her eyes hidden behind her hat."You told them the coordinates of the meeting place, right?" He nodded; body shifting and jolting about as he paced "Why exactly are you pacing again?". At this point it was uncontrollable. He tried his best to ignore it, he tried his best to pretend that it wasn't there but the facts were staking up against him and he didn't have many options left. There came a time in every person's life where they had to make a decision, a decision that would shake the very foundation of their lives as they knew it; this was that decision for Mellow. He came to a grinding halt immediately after Megani's question; finding it odd that she hadn't realized it by now. "Why am I pacing? What do you MEAN why am I pacing?! Don't you understand? Don't you get it?!" She paused, waiting for him to finish his sentence--
--..I'm not sure if I should grab a bite to eat now or later!"
Never before had Megani facepalmed loud enough to cause Mellow's ears to sting; until now that is. She got up from the ground, placing her hands on her hips as she barked back at Mellow; both of them on a time crunch. "What's it matter to you anyway? You're not the one whose going to be meeting them there; I am"! Mellow stopped for a moment to think about it "Oh yeah.. but wait, if I'm hungry now..won't you be hungry once you take over?" Megani now stopped to think for a moment "Hmmn..good point. Let's head to Virn's before we set out.".
[ONE BURGER LATER!]
The two had been walking about from the food stall; amazed at how delicious his burgers got every single time. "Alright, now that we've eaten it's time to head out. Are you ready to do the switch?". This was it; the moment Megani was waiting for. Mellow turned into a dark alleyway as Megani fixed her hat so the shadows rested above her eyes "Ready" Mellow nodded "Then let's do this..FORM SWITCH!". A bright white light illuminated their vision; the only thing either them could remember was how warm it had felt.
---- Thames Coastline. Promise Hill. The Event ----
Promise Hill, a landscape him Thames Coastline dubbed such specifically for this event. Promise Hill was actually a large cliff that hovered over an even larger and more beautiful ocean. This location was to be where players interested in joining his guild would meet up. The reason behind meeting up here was simple really; Mellow had actually sent it to them in a letter. "To those interested in joining Nemesis, come to the coordinates specified in the letter; prepare to bring your largest weakness out to light. Once you arrive, simply walk up to the cliff and shout said weakness to the ocean breeze; your place in my family being solidified at that moment. Once everyone is done, we'll go around introducing ourselves; talk about why we're here and all of that stuff. It'll be fun ^_^ - Mellow".
"Now why is he hiding away and I'm the one that has to deal with it?" Megani let out a sigh, sitting down on the cliff as an hallucination of Mellow appeared by her side. He placed her hands on her shoulder and rubbed them gently before giving her a thumbs up "You've got this, champ!" then disappearing. "Why'd you even come out in the first place if you weren't going to say anything useful?!" Her long blue and red coat shuffled and danced about in the gentle breeze that greeted her so; legs dangling as she let out a large sigh. "Well, no point in complaining about it." Lifting herself up and off the cliff; she turned around towards the forest path that led to it; hoping that she'd begin to see some member sooner or later.
If one of them is sexy, can I keep them?
Shut..UP..MEGANI!!
My body time, you can't stop me!
DAMNIT!

Hawk read the notification from the new guild that he joined, he the leader wanted him to go to the cordinates he sent them. Hawk was new to this guild thing but his gut told him that this guild had some potential. He did not know who the leader was either, these brought concerns to Hawk as well he did not know what he diving into. The night was very quite it was almost off setting as Hawk passed by a small town, it seemed full of people of the land, Hawk frowned about this he did not trust these people of the land. Since the Apocalypse he has been seeing signs that the NPC's have been showing reflective thought and were evolving as adventures developed new tech. This was unsettleing even though adventurers were strong the people of the land were more numerous in number. That was a bad situation if for some reason adventurers had a war with the people of the land. That was a thought for another time though, Hawk passed through the town quickly feeling all the people of the land eyes on him. He was soon in the woods the sounds of monsters and bugs filling the night. Hawk came across some lesser slimes as he strode through the forest. They did not attack him though knowing they were lower level than he was. He was soon creeping on the meeting point. He had a unsettleing feeling as if some one was watching him, not a monster but felt like a player. Hawk looked around but could not see anyone or anything he continued on his way still feeling eyes on him resting his hand on his Katana. He was soon upon the meeting site. The hill looked peaceful at this time of night, The smell of the ocean filled his nostrils. This made him want to sail the see even more, to catch exotic ingredients find islands fight monsters and even find some treasure. That would be the life, Hawk slowly walked to the edge of the cliff seeing that he was the first person there he sat and enjoyed the time by himself. He slowly reached for his saki gourd and shook it it making no noise. " Why is the saki always gone..." he then reached for his water gourd " Better than nothing i suppose..." He popped the cork on it the sound echoing in the night with the sound of the waves washing on the shore. Hawk took a drink from his gourd and took a seat on the cliff, enjoying his night waiting for more members to appear. Word Count; 438 Mellow Noir calm Avalon Tranquillus Polack @johnny 142832

Polack || the shadow on the cliff || Polack stared at the message that he has received. He has been reading it over and over again, but he simply couldn't make himself a picture of it inside his head that wouldn't cause him to suffer from headache. The last thing he has expected to happen was an invitation to join a guild. Sure, he knew Mellow and he actually could stand him, even though the whole combination between Mellow and Megani was something that one would hardly consider natural, but he didn't expect the male to invite him. Also there was a question within his head that he simply couldn't answer. Did he want to? His life wasn't that bad after all, being a lone wolf, doing his thing and from time to time associate with people to cover the needs. He kind of adapted to this lifestyle pretty well and now someone asked him to give this up. Once again he took a look at the message and read every word slowly, as if it the answer of his own question could be found within them: " To those interested in joining Nemesis, come to the coordinates specified in the letter; prepare to bring your largest weakness out to light. Sitting deep within the cover of leafs of a tree, he smashed the back of his head against the wood and closed his eyes. " This is so bothersome" he said in polish and sighed out. And additionally to that, what was that whole weakness thing about? Polack was aware of his weakness, even more than sure what it was, but what would that help? " Kurwa." he mumbled and jumped down the tree, at least he would take a look at the whole situation. Why? He didn't know, something dragged him there. Before being in sight from the location, he used the skill Hiding Entry to bend the light the way to make himself invisible. Silently and slowly he approached the cliff and soon saw two people. The first one he immediately distinguished as Mellow, though it seemed like it was Megani's moment to take over the body now. The other guy was sitting on the cliff. Polack picked an angle from which he could be close enough to listen to anything, but nobody would walk around at to accidentally bump into the invisible young male. He wasn't sure how this all will evolve, what will happen and why he even went here, but on ther other side he didn't feel out of place here. Maybe that was because nobody could see him, but he had the feeling that it was something else. He still didn't decide if he wanted to join, but he still had time to decide.

word count;1145 Avalon was just coming back from a hunting mission for a chef class adventurer who wanted to become better at cooking for others. Because fresh ingredients were important in cooking, it was a bit of a struggle to defeat the pittered boar without killing it. Although it had taken a few hours to locate and then capture a large pittered boar for the chef, it felt satisfying that she was able to complete her task. It was worth the effort. The chef adventurer gave her some gold for bringing him the ingredient and even let her taste test the meat ka-bob. She had been nervous and hesitant about tasting the chef adventurer's food especially since she didn't know him that well and well, it might not taste as good as she hoped the food would be but she was not disappointed to say the least. It was delicious. It was more than she could hope for and not bad at all. For all that changing around tactics and waiting for hours trying to be as silent as she was able, she was very happy that she did not give up she had thought she lost her target a few times. She had originally thought that maybe she should have changed sub-classes to a tracker type class so she could track her targets easier, but a Hunter sub-class gave her some sweet bonuses against beast type monsters. "This is so not good," she muttered to herself and frowned as she stared at splattered blood stains on her shirt and pants. Because of her early morning hunting, she wasn't able to clean out her leather armor that had some few stains on it. It unfortunately had a few blood stains from lugging around the half dead large pittered boar to bring to the waiting chef adventurer. Hopefully the other guild members didn't assume that she was just dirty adventurer. At least she was able to wash her face at the chef's humble home. She learned from experience that first impressions were important though proving herself in some way made all the difference. It was back in real life that she unfortunately remembered that day when she had a job interview in the morning but she had screwed up. A few days prior to the job interview she had been so sure she was going to get the job since she practiced day and night but with all the excitement the day before, all that went down the drain. She had the worst hangover in that entire year. But now, she toned down a bit and changed for the good. She wondered who were the other adventurers in the Nemesis guild. She hoped they were easy to get along with and hopefully there were some girls in the guild. Avalon actually didn't have anything against any male adventurers unless they jerks, assholes, or just plain rude, it would be nice to have a girl in the Nemesis guild that she could relate to. Finally after what it felt like a long time, she took a deep breath taking in the crystal clear ocean of the Thames Coastline. The journey from Londinium felt longer than it really was since her feet were somewhat tired and sore from the hunting in the morning. She had considered backing out of the hunting for the chef adventurer but a promise was a promise. She intended to keep it even though she would be a little tired. The oceanic view awed her especially for the fact that in real life, her home was far away from any coast line or popular beach. Sometimes she had dreamed of surfing at some tropical beach having the time of her life. When she watched surfing competitions on television, she saw that adrenaline rush and wide grin in the face of the competitors as they finished their turn. Maybe it was a sense of satisfaction or because surfing the waves was their life and they loved every second of it. She wished that she could find something--a passion that could make her smile so easily. The letter sent to her and most likely the other guild members by the guild leader of Nemesis stated that when she arrived, it was mandatory to yell out her greatest weakness in order to solidify her membership to the guild. Palming her face and blushing at that thought, she dreaded the embarrassing act she would about to do. Walking up to the high cliff along the coastline, she stared straight down at the ocean. She frowned since she really did not want to yell out her weakness. Still, being in any guild would definitely help her a lot in improving herself and overcoming obstacles. It would be nice to have other adventurers support her in her journey. It was easy and obvious to think of what her weakness was in battle. She was a long range fighter and couldn't afford to go closer to the enemy unless she was sure that she had maybe a guardian to increase aggro on themselves so she would herself less at risk and have more time to aim and shoot. For out of battle, she was friendly and rather have everyone get along but maybe sometimes she may take things too casual. Still if you tell her what to do exactly, she would make sure she completed no matter what. "Damn, I might well get it over with," she said to herself hesitantly with a huff as she clenched her fists. Taking a deep breath, "Short range combat!" she shout in the top of her lungs. Frowning, she couldn't believe she actually did it. She had the urge to just hide in some box in embarrassment and stay there for as long as she could but there was nothing of that sort anywhere close by. Finally, she decided to walk over to where she spotted two male adventurers--one with an abnormal fox mask that she almost thought that he would of the fox but had no busy tail nor fox ears. She stared inquisitively for a moment thinking of why he wore such a mask on his face. There was something of an aura of mystery. She wanted to find out more about the man but she didn't want to be rude especially since she only just met him. The other male adventurer had long auburn hair and a black kimono signifying that he was of the samurai class. It was interesting the British server had such a class especially since the Samurai main class originated from Japan. Still, there were other classes that were odd to her especially with the clothing style and moves but that just made it more interesting. She flashed a toothy wolffish grin with her tail wagging cheerfully at the two male adventurers and plopped herself down on the ground. Mellow Hawk calm Tranquillus Noir DentiumCODED BY DUCKIE OF GS

Ever since he was sucked into this game Tranquillus had felt out of place. Beyond the obvious adjustments, and earth-shattering fear, necessary to accept his new reality, the worst part is that none of his friends from Elder Tale were logged in at the time. Tranquillus felt bad that he wished his friends would be subjected to the same trials that he, and some many others, were going through but he hated this feeling of being alone more. Though many people took advantage of their situation and quickly leveled up, Tranquillus did not often travel far beyond the town borders in order to get his bearings on the situation. It may have taken a while, much more than some other adventurers, but he eventually decided to reach out to others by joining a guild. He needed the human interaction that he had been lacking this entire time, so he became aware of a new guild forming of mostly lower level players intended to form stronger individual bonds as they grew in level. The guild had the daunting name of Nemesis, but it did not seem to have any nefarious purpose. He reached out to the guild and the guild leader sent a letter to him for the location of their first meeting.
---
Tranquillus had not traveled this far out from Londinium before, but it was time for a change. He needed the security that a guild would provide, but more importantly he needed friends and companions. He was never meant to solo. Thankfully, the only monsters that aggro-ed him on the way to the meeting location were a few occasional slimes. They barely did any damage on account of his heavy plate armor and defensive skills. But while he was not a damaging class, he was able to get through with a few simple whacks from his staff. Between these simple combats Traniquillus read over the letter a few more times. Yelling into the breeze was a strange request, but Tranquillus assumed it was just a form of ice-breaker. Though it was a bit more extreme, similar ice-breaking methods were just in social organizations he had been a part of during university. He was completely aware of his biggest weakness and had been pretty open about it in real life, whatever that meant anymore.
As he approached the coordinates which were provided in the letter, Tranquillus came upon a cliff overlooking the ocean. Individuals had already gathered and he hoped that he was not late. He arrived as a woman was yelling something about combat over the cliff, the start of the ice-breaker. So, he walked to where the adventurers, who already arrived, were congregating. He stood next to the fox-tail assassin, leaned on his staff, and said, "I hope that I'm not late."

{Walt} – Walt was not an avid video game player so he had no idea what the hell he was doing in this world. He didn’t know anything about this world though he learned quickly over time the general layout of this place. He then found out he had a connection to Chikato INC though it was just a communications link, nothing more. He called them up and said “ I seem to be in some weird ass world I can’t get out from. So take care of things while I’m gone, put the loli in charge of the company the kawainess will boost sales tenfold.” Well now that, that was settled he began going about his business in this weird game world. Almost immediately he noticed it was just children in this world, where are the parents? Immediately Walt knew what his role in this world was, he was going to be the father of all the youngsters.
A lot of people just thought he was weird with all his body hair and glorious sideburns though he didn’t care. It was the usual reaction for teenagers and so they were very stupid with their undeveloped brains and hormones going through them. So he just let them be and went about his business of exploring the city. Walt was just looking around for some form of employment when he suddenly got a message from mellow the one and only murderer of the previous head of Chikato INC. Connecting the dots he figured mellow was probably trapped in this world as well. Well nothing better to do he sure as hell went to the location for the designated meeting place.
On his way there he encountered a few slimes and simply gave them a kick on the way by. Before he knew it there was a group of people assembled and so he assumed they were also clan members. He had glossy brown hair with glorious sideburns that went down to his jaw line. He also had a bit of a beer gut and noticeable amounts of body hair. Walking up to the group smiling he went over to the cliff and yelled “I’m horrible at video games! I can’t dodge bullets! I lose all focus when I hear 70s funk, I can’t hate anyone, I’m too groovy for my own good, I eat too much instant noodles, and I don’t know anything about this world.” After he was done he turned to the others and said “Hi I’m Walt, nice to meet you guys, what’s your names?” in a friendly voice with a warming smile that seemed epic with the setting sun behind him. If anyone was looking they could swear that his teeth sparkled for a second like might guys from Naruto. – {END}

[ The Existence. ]
When it started, it was highly confusing. She’d barely started the game and then suddenly – boom, she’s one of the thousands of people that found themselves what seemed to be physically trapped within the game. It started with panic, confusion, misunderstanding and fear, but it gradually worked its way to a mutual understanding between everyone that was no one was going home any time soon. Fast forward a few months and you’ll find Andromeda, lonely, terrified, weak, and barely getting by. Ever since this whole thing started, it was like her entire life had stayed the same as before. She stayed away from people – everyone. She hadn’t actually spoken to anyone since the start, hasn’t even bothered leveling, or fighting, or playing in general. She just, existed, simply that. Nothing more, nothing less. Just simple, pure, existing. The shadow in the corner of your eye. That’s all Andromeda had become.
When it finally clicked that the level of being alone with Andromeda had grown significantly since the beginning of the game. Although before she had no one, rejected everyone, now she didn’t even have the brief moments she saw her parents. She began to just simply let herself die, or do what should have killed her. There was nothing to it. Sitting around, literally sitting there, doing nothing, not eating, not sleeping, nothing. Yet, she couldn’t disappear and just let herself die. There was no true death in this world. There was no ceasing to exist, you simply were.
She didn’t even want to bother with this “Nemesis” guild when she first got the invitation.
It was pointless. Seriously, what was even the point? There’s no gain from anything here, there’s no point in doing anything, we’re stuck and that’s that. So why couldn’t Andromeda stop thinking about the invitation? Why couldn’t she get the word ‘family’ out of her head. Why did she care? Why was she standing up? Where was she going? Stop it. There’s no point. You’ll just get hurt when everyone leaves you. Stop it, Andromeda. Stop it.
That’s when she found herself standing at the very edges of the place. She could make out a few figures, but she forced herself not to count. There was no point. She needs to leave. She was just about to get hurt. Screw this. After watching the small group like a creep, she turned her back to them, heart racing. Is not going really what she wanted? Did she really want to waste away into nothingness? This was ridiculous. She was just going to get hurt.
And that’s when her ‘greatest weakness’ hit her like a sack of flaming bricks to the face. Taking a deep breath, and another one, Andromeda stepped out into the light. She didn’t even know if she was supposed to wait for her actual turn, but as she felt her body unwillingly make its own way to the cliff, she stood at the edge of it, refusing to make any kind of eye contact with any of them.
“I-I-I,” she began, voice quivering. She didn’t even recognize her own voice. The sound of it terrified her, it was so unfamiliar, but completely familiar at the same time. It was like the familiar stranger you can’t quite name, the one you stare at and stare at until you find the name or words or any kind of memory to put to the face, but it’s impossible. It’s on the tip of your tongue but you just can’t quite reach it.
“I’m afraid of being vulnerable to people, and getting hurt in the process.” Her voice was quiet, her face was red from nerves. It was more than likely obvious that it was as loud as she was able to go, especially after not using her voice in the entire duration of this game. She was small, she even looked frail. Very slowly, very shakily she looked toward the small group of people that had shown up as well as she did. “I want to get stronger,“ and that’s when her nerves hit her. She turned her back to everyone, sitting on the ground, crossing her legs, and shyly hiding her face in her arms. “I’m sorry! I shouldn’t have come.” She panicked.
She took a few deep breaths and returned to look at them. “I-I’m Andromeda.” Her face screamed what she was feeling, complete embarrassment for even showing up and more than likely making a fool of herself. “I want to join.” Her face dropped and she looked to her thumbs, which she twiddled and tried to breathe, to calm herself down. Meeting new people was always the hardest part. She got the game to meet people that she could still speak to even when she moved around all the time. She was tired of being lonely all the time. She just wanted to find something solid, something that wouldn’t disappear in a few months.
Her dark brown hair fell to the sides of her face, letting her hide. “I’m sorry, I’m not very good at making friends.” It was true though, she couldn’t even remember the last friend she had. She was just invisible her entire life, even to her parents. Always invisible, always afraid, always weak. But now, she wanted to change. She was tired of simply existing, she wanted to live, and it seemed clear to her suddenly that this could be her last and only chance to really do something with herself, no matter how pointless it seemed. She could make a life here, I mean, it doesn’t really seem like they’re getting out any time soon. But that’s the thing, what happens when they do get out and they never see each other again? Will she just go back to simply existing? No. Stop thinking like that. Stop over analyzing everything. Just ride this one out, see where it goes. Stop being so afraid all the time, it’s pointless, even more so than whatever it is that you think is pointless.
[ End. ]

Noir smirked looking down at the letter he had received. It had appeared Noir had been invited to join a new and upcoming guild named Nemesis. Noir found himself very intrigued. He hadn’t even heard of the guild leader before. Although he found the name to very interesting. Although it can’t be anymore weird than his own name. Noir, the French word for the color black. That aside he was curious as to who else had received an invitation. Noir had been doing a few side quest in his time here, he visited a festival and got really drunk. However just joining random groups to kill a few monsters to gain some Xp and goods weren’t really making Noir enjoy his time inside of the game. He really wanted to join a guild, a place where he could get to know people, fight alongside them, and become friends. He continued reading the letter and noticed that the letter contained some coordinates that weren’t very far away from his current location. Noir figured it was worth checking into, because this single letter may lead to him joining an upcoming guild that may grow in size and strength and lead to great raids and wonderful loot. Noir himself was interested in the higher level adventuring and gear that one is able to acquire. Noir was highly interested in becoming stronger, he wanted to ascend to level ninety and beyond. But he was only able to do so much as a solo player, and a guild was a great way to do such a thing. With that in mind he closed out of the letter and set off. Considering he wasn’t very far from the meeting place it wouldn’t take him more than a day to get there. Along the way he saw various People of The Land. They were each tending to their farms. Others were building homes, or shopping in markets. There were even children playing in the fields. However, ever since Noir had gotten trapped inside the game he noticed that the people of the land have been evolving. They were advancing in knowledge and skill, some even becoming adventurers themselves through sheer will power and fortitude. It just goes to show that anyone can do anything they set their mind too no matter the challenge. However there was one drawback to being an adventurer as a person of the land. Once you die, there is no second chance, no respawn. If you die, it’s over for you. Noir soon found himself strolling through a forest with various low level monsters such as slimes and wild boar. They didn’t attack him however due to the level differences and such. Moments later Noir had spotted a clearing and walked through, he found himself staring at the wide ocean, a place so beautiful that he feels he never would’ve seen anything like it in his entire life if he hadn’t gotten trapped in the game. He noticed there were several players already there and that one of them was probably the leader. Everyone was lounging around and he assumed that everyone had already done as the letter said. Noir then approached the edge of the cliff and shouted. “My biggest fear is failure, being unable to protect those I care about. I fear that I will be unable to grow stronger and be unable to obtain the goods of this world, to fall down and be stuck in the depths of weakness.” With that said he walked away from the cliff and sat down away from a few of the others. It was just a matter of time for others to show up or for the guild master to reveal himself. ▲ 619 WORDS ● TAGGED Mellow calm Polack Tranquillus kirkwall Avalon Dentium ● NOTES

| | "Holy crap that's a lot of people" | "I know, now do something about it!" | "I'm not doing something, that's your job right now." | "Damnit, Mellow!" | "Have fun!"
One by one, everyone he'd sent a letter to would appear before his very eyes; the first of them being The Samurai, Hawk. "He came.. holy shit he actually came. " Megani's eyes focused on the sea; smiling behind the cap as she let out a soft whisper. "Welcome Home". She only turned around for a moment, reading everything she could about the man within that small frame of time before turning back around. "He looks like he could do some great damage on the battlefield, yeah I think I'll keep that neeper around". Megani was absolutely filled with joy; surprised that even one person showed up but secretly hoping for more.
"Polack is here."
Megani's eyes widened once more; emotion surging through her body as she stopped herself from turning around to check. "I just saw his username pop up somewhere around those trees, he must be hiding because I can't seem to see it anymore". As he continued to speak about Polack, she'd entered her own mind; shocked that a second person had actually made their way to promise hill. "Polack is here too?..They actually like us, Mellow..They really do.." He placed his hands in his pockets and gave off a smug look behind the mask; thinking it only natural the neeped with the one and only "Of course they do, I'm neeping awesome"! Mellow continued to parade around the hill, cockiness the least of his issues, as Megani sat there waiting; hoping yet another member would surface.
"SHORT RANGE COMBAT"
There it was! A third member had appeared before her very eyes. She could begin to feel tears streaming down her cheeks; truly overwhelmed that so many people, despite how small it seemed, came to become a family with them. Another whisper "Welcome Home" came from Megani; Mellow quickly gaining a fix on Megani's current emotion. "Hey.." He appeared by her side, placing his hands on her shoulder with a cheesy grin behind his mask "It's okay to let your hair down every once in a while, Megani..We're all family now, remember?" She nodded, more tears dropping as she continued to hide her face; embarrassed about her behavior "Then stop being such a pansy, get up, and meet your peep-- wait, I think someone is coming."
"I hope I'm not late"
Another had made themselves known. She almost burst with tears due to how happy she'd become -- almost; that was until, he, showed up.
“I’m horrible at video games! I can’t dodge bullets! I lose all focus when I hear 70s funk, I can’t hate anyone, I’m too groovy for my own good, I eat too much instant noodles, and I don’t know anything about this world.”
Mellow's hallucination, at this time, had burst into a full on laughter; falling to the ground and bicycle kicking his legs while holding his sides. "No wait, no wait!" He looked up at the man, tears streaming down his cheeks for all but the right reasons "Who the neep is this Elvis Presley lookin' mother neeper? Did I bring him in?! This is too neeping rich man, oh shit"! While Mellow continued to laugh, Megani gave her "Welcome Home" whisper to the man; hoping that more would make there way here.
“I’m afraid of being vulnerable to people, and getting hurt in the process.” Mellow stopped laughing as an adorable, beady-eyed shaman approached the cliff; screaming out nothing that entirely mattered to him. "Ohhoo, she's looking cute..can we get more of her in different flavors please? My onii-chan radar is flying through the roof though.." Megani was happy to know another female joined the family; Avalon wouldn't have to suffer the men's peering eyes alone. Gal Pal Power. “My biggest fear is failure, being unable to protect those I care about. I fear that I will be unable to grow stronger and be unable to obtain the goods of this world, to fall down and be stuck in the depths of weakness". With the arrival of the warden, Noir, Megani came to the realization that no others would be making themselves known; though something hadn't seemed right, something was off.
"Where's Calm"?
Mellow did a quick look around the area, searched high and low from his location but could find no other trace of life within this area. "He's not coming..." Megani looked to what would others would see as the ocean but actually she'd been looking at the hallucination of Mellow. Placing her hand on his shoulder, she shook her head from left to right as he begun to ball up his fists; angered by the betrayal of his kin. "That son of a bitch.. he's not coming...alright, cool cool. Megani, go ahead and start this shindig. I'm going to rest up in the blackness for a while". With that, he disappeared; Megani now left on her own to speak to the newly inducted brethren of Nemesis. Her heart beat gradually increased, she lost the words she wanted to say, she'd come to a complete halt. At the moment, the guild members(all except Polack) knew the face of Mellow to be their guild leader. What would they say when she suddenly turned around and introduced herself? "MEGANI! STOP BEING A LITTLE BITCH AND JUST DO IT!" She shook slightly, jolting herself into focus before slapping her face and standing up from the cliff.
"Hello everyone" she turned, now facing the lot of them as she wiped her tears away; a look of confidence on her face "I'm sure all of you expected to see a man with a mask greet you here today. In some ways you have and in some ways you haven't." Realizing that was a horrible way to start off the conversation, she quickly tried to grab the crowd back; still lacking the words to say to them. "Shoot, what am I trying to do?..I was never one to speak in front of large crowds like this." She let out a sigh before puffing out her chest and giving off the "I'm a big girl" attitude; hoping that was enough to make this work. "You see, this family is not founded by one, but two. Living, breathing, eating, and sleeping inside of Mellow is another; that other would be me." Giving the crowd a gentle smile, she bowed respectfully before bringing her head up "Due to some circumstances that are far too complex for me to explain(he's being lazy), I've been given the opportunity to meet you all." Fiddling with her fingers, she tried her best to retain the tears, tried her best to keep her composure; alas, she could not. Tears strolled down her cheeks with a cheesy grin on her face as she gave them a thumbs up; refusing to do it any other way "Hi, I'm Megani, it's nice meet you".
Megani..
"Before you ask, I'm somewhat a representation of the emotions and feelings Mellow has locked away within.. so if I'm crying like this.. it just means we're happy." she continued to sob, gradually finding the words she wanted to say "Mellow may not say this to you now, he may never say this to you in history, but please know.. we're both truly glad that you've come..It just means so much to us.. we're so happy..". At this point, she'd collapsed on her knees, bawling her eyes out before her new family; unable to stop herself from showing her emotions Mellow never could "Thank you, all of you, for coming here today...all I really can say now is.. Welcome home...Welcome home"! Bursting into a full frontal sobfest, she let her emotions run wild; Mellow appearing before her and wrapping his arms around her. "You did good, Megs...You did good...You can come back now...FORM SHIFT"! A large gust of smoke burst from her being, the silhouette of a man left in it's wake. Mellow stood up, fixing his mask before turning to the cliff and shouting to the heavens as loud as he could. "CAN YOU HEAR ME GODS?! GET A GOOD neepIN' LISTEN BECAUSE THIS IS THE ONLY TIME I'M DOING THIS SHIT!" He felt like a chump, doing this shit in front of everyone, but after the show Megani just put on, he couldn't be out-staged. "Alright.. let's do it".
"WHAT'S UP WORLD?! THE NAME'S MELLOW AND I GOT SOME SHIT TO SAY, YOU DIG?!..I'M A VERY BITTER AND ANGRY MAN, WORLD. I ENVY MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY! I AM ABLE TO BREAK BONDS JUST AS EASY AS I MAKE THEM, OR SO I THINK. IN ACTUALITY I'M AN EMOTIONAL DUDE, Y'ALL!.. I'm a hopeless romantic. I put my heart into every single relationship I try and form; even if it's based off of a crush. I don't care about the world, so long as it has nothing to do with me and those I care for. I've wanted to punch these guys at least once. Every single one of them, and not because I hate them or anything, I just think some of them would be worth the challenge. I'm pretty egotistical, hell, I am egotistical. I'm probably all kinds of sexually neeped up..but most of all.." Keep going man, you got this.. "I'm gender confused like neep. I love being me..yet I can't help but lust for the other gender's life as well. I thought i'd fought Megani off but long ago I realized you cannot fight that which you are. I will never be able to remove the feelings I have.. Megani will be with me for the rest of my life..and you know what, world? That's okay..Because whether you find it acceptable or not, I'm chill with being a man and a woman, neep THE RULES!.." Awesome, now wrap it up, yo! "I've got a neep-ton of issues.. and I can't say I'm going to get any better any time soon.. but world.. I've got my family on my back now.. and we're gunna ride through this shit together..With that being said world.. I leave you with this middle finger" raising his middle finger to the sky, he smiled bravely behind the mask; Megani's tears streaming from inside "neep you, world, and neep your rules..". He slowly lowered his hand, it now dropping to his side as he turned around and faced his new family; shoving his hands in his pockets and pretending as if nothing extraordinary had been said--

[attr="class","top"]you win the battle now but I will return the fire
| Hawk was surprised how many members showed up to the meeting place. The first to come was a assassin she reeked of blood he assumed she just finished hunting or maybe some poor fellow tried to best her in combat. She kind of surprised Hawk as she yelled "SHORT RANGE COMBAT!!" from behind him,. He chuckled a little an assassin weak in short range combat how absurd. He began to rise.. Hawk was going to be patient and wait for the all the members to yell their weakness together he guessed he did not get the memo.
He then turned to see the women walking towards who he assumed was mellow, but something was off he scratched his head as another person appeared and joined the group. It was a cleric Hawk smiled and enjoyed the thought of having a cleric in the guild already. That is when an looking man came in him and his thick bushy side burns. His announcement of his weakness made Hawk chuckle and started to think..
There is no way to stop the funk..
After this thought a women appeared she was a shaman. She quickly and nervously walked to the cliff and announced her weakness and went to the group. She looked harmless but Hawk was not in the business of underestimating peoples potential.
Next to approach the cliff was a familiar face, Noir who he already shared combat and drinks with seeing him made a grin climb on Hawks face he was happy to have somebody he knew joining the guild too. Noir yelled his weakness and joined the group too.
Well I suppose i should announce my weakness too...
He was not to enthusiastic but he swallowed his pride and took a deep breath "MY GREATEST WEAKNESS IS THAT OF BEING SOBER WHEN I DIE AND BEING TO WEAK TO CONTROL MY FATE!!"
With that announcement Hawk made his way to the group, The guild leader was not what he expected, he fore sure thought Mellow was a man, and that his name was Mellow but this person announced them self as Megani. Things made since soon after as she stated that her and mellow were to faces on the same coin as she continued her explanation Hawk mind began to drift the conversation becoming to complicated and he had no interest in this Megani character...
Hmm i should really hit the gambling tables when i get back to town maybe i will get lucky this time. Oh and refill my Saki gourd hmm maybe ill refill it with some blueberry flavored....
He got a silly grin and licked his lips as he thought about the Saki and became startled when smoke emerged from Megani, Hawk assumed that Mellow was about to make an appearance and he did in a obnoxious fashion. He started to yell his weakness to the sea and asked who was next. Hawk believed there was only one person left t announce and that was the cleric. Hawk liked the group so far there is a lot of unique individuals he could only imagine fun he would have with this group. Hawks gut was still telling him that somebody was near but he could not put his finger on it and this worried him, The ocean breeze flooded his nostrils and the cool wind hit his face as he put on his guard as he waited for the next person yell their weakness. |

Polack || out of the shell || Polack kept on watching everyone, being close enough to see everything and hear everything that was happening. He didn't even realize how his hands were shaking, he was nervouse, even though nobody could even see it, he tried to force himself to make it stop. It seemed like everybody somehow was able to choke out their weaknesses and it seemed to be quite easy for them, Polack couldn't even figure out how he wanted to say anything. Once again Polack felt more or less useless when it was about talking. But Polack started to think. Something felt different now though, he didn't feel that ... distant. Didn't all those weaknesses sound so... human? On the other side, didn't his own issue sound stupid compared to theirs? Polack didn't know. Mellow spoke up. It was hard to follow his words, many of them weren't understandable for him in that context, but he got the idea of it and he could feel the emotions in the male's voice. Every inch of his body screamed 'no' and 'what the hell are you doing?' as he set one foot after the other. Slowly and silently his body moved towards the rest of them. What Mellow said, attracted his mind, he was honest, he could feel that and he could also feel that the rest of the people that spoke up were honest aswell. He had decided. Standing on the edge of the cliff, he mumbled " Hello, Mellow and Megani, let me do." loud enough for the two personalities to hear him, then he deactivated the skill Hiding Entry and made himself in the middle of those people visible. Not looking at anybody, watching the ocean and the sky for a second, trying once again form something like a legit sentence in his head and planed how he could pronounce it, even though he knew that he wouldn't manage it correctly. With a voice yelling against the whole world, not only loud because the voice of a pole was usually louder, but also because Polack wanted to make his voice fight against this whole world, those words left his lips: " I AM AFRAID BECAUSE MY ENGLISH BAD, I CAN'T RIGHT SPEAK WITH ANYONE. I CHANGE BECAUSE OF ELDER TALE AND I AFRAID I NEVER COME TO MY OLD ME BACK, THE ME THAT WAS SURE WHAT TO DO!" He could feel a tear dry out in the corner of his eye just as soon as it appeared, he took a deep breath and continued to talk " I CAN'T CONTACT HOW I WANT, I AFRAID I BE USELESS AND I AFRAID I WILL STAY FOREVER SAME WAY, I AFRAID I NEVER CHANGE BACK TO MY GOOD SELF!" He then stood like that, not able to look at anybody for a couple of seconds. Polack closed his eyes for three seconds, then he sighed out. Slowly he turned around towards everybody and forced up a smile. " Hi, my name is Patryk ..." With those words, he backed away and positioned himself next to Mellow, trying his best to ignore if there were any reactions to his sudden appearance, if there were any reactions to what he said. If there was something laughing he didn't think he could endure it right now, now that he finally forced himself to speak so much in front of anyone.

word count;2026 A few minutes had passed since she had nestled herself within the small group of strangers though soon to be fellow guild members. Her mouth curved downward in her realization that none of the members that turned up were female, only male adventurers who she was not sure of their motives of joining as of yet. She just held onto the hope that a female adventurer would join Nemesis, not just her since hopefully she could relate to another female adventurer. It was not that she wasn't fond of others of the opposite gender, she did consider some of the guys she had met fairly handsome and eye-candy--it would be nice to have someone who reminded her of her cousin who she missed dearly. Gazing onto the depths of the azure ocean, she could feel her heart drenched in a heap of memories. Those cousins who helped her through her worse times. The family she took for granted many times. The kindness the cafe workers gave her no matter how much trouble she put them through. Avalon needed to thank them for believing in her as if they had silent prayers in the flowing wind, never faltering throughout the many seasons. With a dazed glance, the clouds were different than what they usually appeared to be. The clouds were like tall castles in the sky as if signifying a beacon of strength, which strangely uplifted her spirits. Before long, she noticed in the corner of her eye another adventurer walking toward the cliff most likely joining joining the guild as well. He held an imposing figure with his high cheek bones and large muscular frame that had an air of authority and resembling a soldier of war, combat ready and determined. His heavy plate armor he wore made the male adventurer seem like he was of the guardian class but she was wrong. Glancing at his information, she read that he was actually of the Cleric type adventurer not what she had originally assumed him to be. Avalon had imagined a Cleric class to be of a slender figure and wearing loose robes that matched the image she had seen in fantasy movies back home. At least he had the staff a Cleric would have to carry to use their magical abilities. She could probably understood why an adventurer would choose a vastly different look than what was normally chosen. Maybe it was because he wanted to prove a Cleric could be more versatile in their abilities and be able to defend himself if a battle forced him to move closer range and at least had some defense against monsters. She then heard him saying that he hoped he wasn't too late for the first guild meeting. Although she was nervous about his presence right next to her, she decided to reassure him anyway. It was fairly easy to maintain her facade of an easy-going attitude most of the time. "No worries, we're still early," she replied with a loose grin. Her pointed ears twitched hearing the footsteps of more adventurers traveling closer to the wayward cliff by the sea. Avalon's eyebrows shot up at the surprise before her. What the hell? It was a stocky looking fellow who seemed to be proudly wearing his side-burns, an interesting sight to have pride for. He looked like a giant figure compared to her short statue as if he could easily run her over at any moment. If it were the other way around, it would most likely feel like she would be running into a wall. Not a pleasant experience to have. But the thing that caused her lose her composure and struggle to maintain to facial expression was a combination of two things she noticed about this strange adventurer. Dentium? It sounded like some weird dentist product and she was not very fond of any thing relating to the dentist. It was quite annoying when the dentist would keep reminding her to floss her teeth every time she visited their office. She just wanted the visit to be over with. And that vibe she got from the older man, she couldn't pinpoint it at first but oh my god--it was so obvious and so wrong at the same time. His weakness consisted of not being good video games and too groovy for his own good that should have appeared conceited but only came out as comedic with his antics. Mesmerized as she was, just watching him smile. His face beamed with his white teeth flashlight bright and blinding. Avalon shook my head, trying to blink off the dazzle. Was she the only one to see him this way? She bawled in laughter, "It's the disco dentist dancer guy!" and regained a semblance of composure though slightly joked, "Names Ava. Sorry, I was blinded for a moment there," as she then cleared her throat. He looked like he belonged in a cartoon show the way he greeted everyone in the group. Avalon could still smell other adventurers nearby but still was not making his or her appearance as of yet. It was as if one of the adventurer was just lurking among the shadows keeping a watchful eye judging them for some odd reason. She hoped it wasn't a PK'er stalking them though at least she was within a group so they would be able to protect each other from attacks. It was a young woman adventurer with a slim built, hair the color of espresso, and traditional shamanic robes. She resembled a fragile porcelain doll, a beautiful but easily broken though looks could be deceiving. Avalon trailed her sharp amber eyes on the adventurer and could pinpoint something different about her. It wasn't just the hesitation and stuttering that she noticed, more like the girl was presenting herself as if she were walking along egg shells, carefully tiptoeing her way around them like it were about to break. Avalon felt like the girl would just fade into the background and rather be overlooked like she just wanted to be invisible from the whole world. She could slightly understand why she felt like she wanted to hide, it was obviously embarrassing to announce out loud what her greatest weakness was and it could make someone feel very vulnerable. The girl reminded her of when there was a time when she wanted to hide from the world but slowly got through it in time. Still, it did take great courage to take the initiative to do such a feat in front of everyone. Giving the girl a reassuring smile, "You did great, welcome to the guild Andy," with a pat on her shoulder. She hoped she didn't mind the shortening of her name though. Avalon knew the day was waning beyond the horizon as warm hues of colors lit up the darkening sky reflecting upon the sea making it appear like it was burning. It was quite beautiful in it's chaotic view. Opposite to the fire sky, the warmth was slowly disappearing. She could feel the cold wind against her tanned skin causing her to shiver with goosebumps. Thinking that the grass would provide some comfort and possibly warmth, she placed her palm onto the ground though it only felt smooth and cool to the touch, not what she had expected earlier. Her scruffy lavender ears once again twitched in the alert of an incoming adventurer making his or her way. At first glance, the male adventurer didn't really stand out amongst all the others in the group. He looked of Asian descent and like almost all the other males in the group, towered above her like she was a small child. He wasn't too muscular nor too slender, more like average compared to the other men in the group. Nonetheless, her keen eyes peaked in interest at the male warden since he was fairly handsome for his eastern and interesting vibe she felt from him. It may be a sense of comfortableness but she wasn't quite sure what words to describe him. Maybe it was because he wasn't as intimidating nor imposing as the other men in the guild. Hearing his admittance of his greatest weakness, she cocked her head sideways and smiled at him. "That's why we're all here right?" she chirped out with a toothy grin. Avalon breathed out at sigh of relief hearing the start of the introduction of the guild master. It felt as if waiting for the others took for over such a long time than it really was. Or maybe it was more because she was slightly hungry and it looked like dinner time? Her cheeks turned a rosy pink hearing her stomach making a gurgling noise as if it was begging her to hunt for more food and gobble it all up already. She was known for having a large appetite anyway. Listening intently to the female guild master, her golden amber eyes shot up in surprise at the information she processed. So this Megani and Mellow was two sides of the same coin? "Aye aye, Master Meg!" she cheered and saluted her guild master when her introduction had been made. She hoped this would boost Megami and well, Mellow's morale showing them she and the other guild members were all in for the long haul. Continuing listening, she suddenly saw this form shift where the male half took over and she learned that the female side was the embodiment of Mellow's emotions. This was interesting, never having seen this type of phenomena in the game before. If they were back in the real world, this would most likely be labeled as some sort of type of condition diagnosed by a physician. This was one of the few times when she was sorely glad that she was stuck in a Elder Tale. It was exciting to have at least some craziness and unpredictability in your life, just not as long as it doesn't cause any harm. She would rather have that craziness on her side just to be safe of course. The guild master's introduction had ended and she guessed it was time for the introductions from everyone else. The samurai adventurer she noticed earlier finally announced his weakness and she couldn't help but face palm herself at his admittance. She arched her eyebrows and asked him, "Shouldn't you be a Brewer instead?" then paused for a moment in thought. No, that would be a very bad idea. It seemed like he was the type to go out all night drinking though she could be wrong. "Wait no, forget I said anything," she sighed and frowned with a shake of her head. It wasn't that she didn't enjoy drinking every now and then, it was more like she rather not have an alcoholic in the guild. Still, the last part of his weakness was more along the lines of what she agreed upon. Being able to control your own fate? Only time would tell and she didn't want to be weak, she wanted to change her own fate and be in charge of her own destiny. Suddenly, she widened her eyes seeing a human assassin appear out of nowhere. Shouldn't she have sensed him? Maybe it was because he was using some sort of skill to hide himself? Avalon was slightly taken aback by how loud he was shouting out his weakness though she guessed it was good to let everything all out and let of the tenseness inside of you. She patted him with a soft smile, "We could help you out with your English and help each other out to become strong," as she winked and gave a thumbs-up though she wonder what he mean by 'good self.' Was everyone here already? Assuming that, she casually stood up from her spot and began her introduction. "My name's Avalon but you can call me Ava instead if you want," she started and paused for a moment, "I like killing boars and uh eating dark chocolate. Don't have much goals but well, I hope we'll all get along and grow strong together," with her tail wagging and a vibrant smile. Mellow Hawk Andromeda Tranquillus Noir DentiumCODED BY DUCKIE OF GS
