The canon information that came with each class detailing their general strengths and skills also included a number of builds that were suggested for the class. For example, the Guardian class received a short description of such builds like the standard "Fortress" defensive tank role and the "Scarlet Knight" DPS HP draining role. We would like to have players suggest their own builds so that this information can be made available to newbies who aren't sure which skills or roles they should take. Here is a template to get you started.

The Lone Samurai A samurai able to travel and adventure solo, but also has the capability to fit into a team as a splash tank or a soak tank. Class: Samurai Recommended Subclasses: Any Recommended Equipment: - Armor: Reforged with Passive HP regen, chainmail for mobility.
- Weapon: Best with status effects, since the damage should come from the two handed weapon.
- Accessoire: Any, preferedly with skill increases to boost your skill output.
Recommended Skills: Tier 1: Denkousekka: Since there is usually no group to worry about, you can use the speedboost to the utmost capability, outrunning your enemies, dealing splash and status damage. If you are in a party, use the one time shield for a physical soak to protect assets. Izunagiri: To keep your distance you need to be able to attack ranged, izunagiri is the first skill you should take to cover that part. Also good to use as a way to open an enemy for an attack either for yourself or your team. Seinarushinken: Another ranged/semi ranged skill, best used if either taking care to get the free iaido strike, free yourself from a large amount of smaller mobs or finish off a larger enemy, definitely a finisher until you learn chain 4 skills. Use only if you know you are gonna finish the enemy or have a team/denkousekka armor active. Tier 2: Ikusanehan: Used to gain a huge advantage before the fight even starts, best stored for a devastating combo with a chain 4 or X skill to maximize damage and shape the battlefield to your will right from the get go. Bishamonkeshin: Once you have this, you can easily soak tank for a while, in tandem with Murakumonotachi it gives a solid defense for at least half a minute for everyone to get the main tank back on his feet or prepare devastating spells/skills. Yabouzan: Your absolute finisher if you max out at chain 3. If you can boost it to higher amounts, use tsubamegaeshi, either with infinitely stacking Ikusanehan before even getting into battle or using other chain x moves to boost your chain number. Tsubamegaeshi: As mentioned above, this could be your ultimate finisher if you can boost your chains high enough. Other useful skills: Murakumonotachi: If you are going for a group approach, this skill should definitely be on your list, solo it will do you little good, since if the enemy catches you, there is little you can do and it has little utility then, since it would steal your chain skills. Fuurinkaazan: If your izunagiri and seinarushinken usually do too little damage or your soak is not high enough, use this one to do dps soak and have more range. Works best for harass aggroing to make a monster go where you want it to without getting too close. Shunsen: If the enemy keeps getting to close to you in battles, use this to create a space of damage and potential field of escape for you.

Hey, guys. I just wanted to make a new Build recommendation thread, as a temporary fill-in for the one that's been lost to the depths of Elder Tale :P. I like to know what builds players use for their classes, and how well it works for them! So, allow me to start off:
CC Buckler (Crowd Control Buckler) Main Class: Swashbuckler Crafting Class: Any RP Class: Pathfinder Starting Equipment: Starter Platemail (I know it impedes movement, but CC's usually gotta be a little tanky), Starter One Handed Spear/Polearm (Spear, Lance or Trident) in both hands. Starting Skills: Fickler Roulette, Mirage Dealer and Aura Saber/Shuffle Windmill (I chose Aura Saber)

Minstrel Description: A minstrel was a medieval European bard who performed songs whose lyrics told stories of distant places or of existing or imaginary historical events. Although minstrels created their own tales, often they would memorize and embellish the works of others.
Class: Bards Recommended Subclasses: Courier (Not sure which is appropriate) Recommended Equipment: Any musical instrument
Recommended Skills: Regardless... or at least a high enough level like 20...
T3 – Claim to fame As Minstrels are known for, this is another experience modifier to encourage participation into a party rather than bards just boosting abilities left and right. Claiming experience, if they have a Minstrel in their party at the time of the mission, they claim 20% their actual experience more.
