OOC: The postround is not fixed, so I will be the start of every new post round. Anyone else can just post once in between. This thread is mostly to have fun and get to know each other... Don't worry just yet about fighting monsters and such... It is just the reason for the tread... not its purpose. So don't just go pulling monsters from nowhere unless we have all discussed I guess? As it is a mentor thread, to gain the benefits post at least 5 times to gain the bonus. I wont be asking for any. ______________________________________
Mab was waiting, she was waiting for a few people she wanted to go have a grand adventure with. What was the goal of this adventure, well it was to explore the Windsor great wood. There where rumors of a hidden cave entrance where once entered one could get great experience fighting local monsters, and there could be hidden treasures. Mab was sold on the spot. The monsters shouldn’t be too tough and perfect for starting adventurers. Today Mab was being her colorful self. Wearing the bright clothes the girl was famous for wearing. The black top hat with pink bunny ears protruded just slightly slanted on her head, and her lime green armor sparkled in the few sun beams that were around.
The fellows Mab was waiting for where Aurora, @blazeedge, Bast, Havelock, Inori, U.V., and Guthbrand.Once they joined up they could head out to the great unknown and have a grand adventure. Mab was so looking forward to this as it meant an adventure where she could make full use of all her skills, not just pathfinding but also her druid skills. The time spent honing these skills paid off and she felt she had learned quite a bit in the short time she was here. Of course she could not take all the credit. Her adventures with some of the people she met made it more interesting. Wondering when the others would join up the girl looked at the forest with longing. Mab loved this forest with all its strange inhabitants and sounds and smells. If she could she would probably live here. This was not a good plan because she would probably find herself waking in the cathedral every morning. Creatures here attacked easily and the girl was aware of it.
Not exactly sure where the dungeon entrance was the girl figured it would take them some time before they managed to find their way. This did not upset the girl, nor did it frighten her. In fact she was brimming with enthusiasm to get the party started. The girl paced in circles at the designated meeting place. Looking around if any of the fellow adventurers where around. Wondering when they would show up, mab decided to enjoy the rather unusual beautiful day. No rain, that was always a bonus, sun in the sky beaming down. Mab soaked in the rays of the sun. Her mind racing in circles.
“There really is nothing to do but to wait until they get here I guess…”
The druid softly chided herself sternly. Mab was feeling impatient. She wanted to go, go now. This was not going to happen, so the girl settled her unruly emotions and decided to plop down to the ground. She sat there waiting for the others to join in. Softly humming a tune to herself to keep her ow so busy mind occupied. Her curiosity was thriving, who would show up? What would they be like? Would she get along with these people? Mab sure hoped so. ------------------------------------ Word count: 500

As he woke up that morning, Klide thought to himself about why he was up so early, he almost never woke up before 10:30, yet here he was, up at 5:45. He sat up in his bed and contemplated getting up. If he got up, he could dress himself, but then he wouldn't have the warmth of his bed. He knew that he'd have to get up eventually, so he decided to just deal with the cold air and do it. The sun had just risen over the horizon, and the mountain far beyond his windows view looked like it was cast out of gold. Klide looked into his mirror to see just how tired he looked. His dark-brown shaggy hair was sticking out in multiple places, and his broad shoulders dominated the width of the mirror. his tan skin looked like honey and his heterochromic eyes sparkled, the orange one looked normal, but the purple one just burst with a light that seemed to give Klide a bit of extra energy. He walked out of his house with his clothes in his bag and a bathrobe over his body. He walked to the local bathhouse (yes, Klide did manage to find a bathhouse that was not in japan) and entered with a fake smile on his face. He payed his fee and entered the male baths.
Once Klide entered the bathing room, the other men seemed to gravitate over to the wall opposite from him. It could have been his masculine physique, of his height, or just the long curvy scar on his back, which led from his right shoulder to his left thigh., but whatever caused those men to fear him was the same as anyone else he met. He was by no means a giant and compared to some of the other players, he was average, but something about him had always left people wanting to be far away from him. Klide ignored all the swine he was stuck with and took his bath in silence. After the bath, he sat on a bench for a moment, the hot water trickling over his forehead, he thought about his past, about his current situation, and asked himself if he was really happy with the course his life had take. He dried himself off and began to dress. After he was fully clothed, he put his swords on the back of his belt. He exited the bathhouse and started walking toward the forest. On his way there, Klide stopped by a small shop and bought a breakfast dish of bacon and eggs. As he Walked towards the meeting point, He thought about who he'd end up in a party with, and what the goal was. The only information he had on the meeting was the location and the name of the organizer, Mab.
Klide was about to climb into a comfy looking tree when he noticed a figure bouncing around on her toes as if she were on the world's most intense sugar-high. He couldn't leave her their wasting all the energy she had on bouncing, so Klide called out to her"Hello there! Ma'am, you're either terribly lost, or you're the Mab that summoned me to this serene forest. Am I correct in assuming that the second option is true? I am the Human Swashbuckler Klide". Klide generally wore very loose fitting cloths which offered him a lot of freedom in movement. When he wasn't prepared for battle he would wear anything from a kimono to a hoodie, as long as its comfortable enough for him to sleep in it. He also wore a claw-bone necklace from the first beast he killed, it was covered in etchings and designs he carved into it over the years. He stood at the edge of the clearing, not sure why he was summoned or what to expect from this girl, but she seemed competent enough, though the amount of energy she had surprised him, as Klide was used to dealing with people who just wanted to get from point A to point B as fast as possible. He stood there, waiting for a reply, when suddenly, on the wind, he smelled something foul and rank. It was cheap alcohol, and the smell was getting stronger. -------------------------------------

Post by Guthbrand on Jun 12, 2014 23:21:46 GMT
Guthbrand was to meet up with a girl, Mab, who had offered to take him and a few others out into the forest looking for a secluded cave with a hidden entrance where they would be able to learn the ropes of the combat system better. He hoped that it would also be a place that he and the others could get to know one another. He wasn't used to not being able to simply bring in his family for people to play with (though this wasn't just a game anymore) if he needed; only his brother had been brought in with him when the event had happened. Today would be the first day he truly went adventuring, having preferred to run errands in town until now to collect gold enough to live off of in safety, it was finally time to start on his way, to do something more than simply surviving and he was glad for it.
Guthbrand was still in his starter armor a dark brown set of clothes over a padded gambesons that came down to his wrists that offered little real protection, with bow in hand, arrows on hip and little else in the way of equipment. He hoped this would lead to them (him and his brother) being able to adventure on their own or with some new found acquaintances in the future. It would if nothing else be a nice change of pace from what he was used to, something that had recently been mindbogglingly boring as they waited for someone to find a way to bring them back to the real world.
The big man wandered about the forest strolling with purpose, right hand with arrow on the string, left holding the bow down and at the ready he kept glancing back and forth as he stared about him wary of a monster attacking unseen, or even another player as he had heard of the player killing going on at times. He had no idea why you would want to player kill in this type of environment, while he was usually all about player versus player in game this wasn't the same, it was something altogether different in this world. He would even go so far as to say intentional player versus player in this world was an act of evil. Sighing he shook his head to clear it as he finally saw the meeting spot up ahead and Mab sitting there on the ground humming softly to herself seemingly enjoying the day, it made him realize what a nice day it actually was, though he wasn’t here to enjoy standing about in the sun, he was here to learn and grow as a player, to be able to contribute to the world instead of simply living in it. That was his goal and he intended to make it happen. Guthbrand gripped the arrow with his left hands fingers to keep it from sliding off as he raised his right hand high and waved to Mab and the other guy he didn't know standing just outside the clearing, “Oui, seems we are the first of us to arrive then?” Guthbrand spoke in his gruff baritone. He moved to stand nearby, but made sure not to stand in Mab’s sun.

Bast was as he usually was waking up to a new park somewhere hopefully still in what he shall refer to as London. The trees were nice to look at in his belief and if he got killed in town waking up in the cathedral would be an annoyance, but pretty much just that. And it was hard when drunk to determine a place to go to so parks were his go to spots of residence. Washing his face in the fountain the slight buzz in the front of his skull reminded him of him both he was meant to be somewhere and that he should really stop spending his cash on alcohol if he wanted to keep his brain cells intact.
He tried to figure out where he was meant to be…somewhere among trees. Well he was among trees did he decide to go straight there after his drinks; he somehow doubted it, as much as he hoped he had headed in the right direction. He remembered something about hidden places…was it an easter egg hunt. No that made less sense than his idea he was in the right spot as much as an easter egg hunt could happen in a park so… where was he meant to be…to be…hmm he decided he would go get some breakfast, he looked at his money supply and noticed it was low, well he could go to the woods and get himself enough coin to eat first he supposed…it then hit him he was meant to be going to the woods for a quest, with bright clothes and a bunch of level one players.
He was unsure of the time of the meeting or in fact this moment so he decided just to be safe to run, he then slowed down and asked directions after passing through three streets he had never been to before in his life. There was nothing wrong with asking directions Bast tried to tell himself after receiving directions to the main entrance to the Windsor great wood. Bast hurrying up the path repeating the directions in his head a few hundred times that he actually didn’t pay all that much attention to his movements. Ending up off cause was fine though because he was in familiar territory by the time he realised so a bit sheepishly adjusted his directions knowing he had gone wrong and was if he followed what the directions he believed the teller said from here he would end up at Buckingham palace before he came round to the edge of the city again.
When he finally found himself the gate a little more hot and bothered than he would have liked, he saw the Bright clothes of the lass and knew he was at the right place. And since only two other people as far as he could tell were with her he seemingly wasn’t late either another plus. Trying to casually turn his hurried run/stride into a more casual walk, he tried to sort himself out so no one would suspect he had forgotten the time of the meeting. Casually walking up he felt he looked fine, his running round London was barely noticeable on his red face…the morning was warm that was it.
“Hello Mabs, nice day for a walk in the woods. Yep, looking for that, yeah that, thing you wanted to look for.” He realized his statement was silly right after he had said it…the grumbling that came from his stomach that second only made him feel a little more embarrassed, but hay at least you couldn’t tell on his reddish face, so that running did help…. Well he was here, and that counted for something. ”Shut up stomach.”

Post by Havelock on Jun 13, 2014 9:00:50 GMT
Havelock breathed deep, sucking in the scent of the forest and wildlife around him. Admittedly, it wasn't the best smell in the world to him, but the clean air was refreshing. The smell of Londonium was tainted with the refuse of day to day life in Elder Tales; the black smoke of the blacksmiths, old and dusty buildings, and of people in close proximity. It wasn't exactly a bad smell, but a change of pace was appreciated. He looked around the forest, Windsor Greatwood it was called. This wasn't the first time he was here, but Havelock hadn't ever really properly mapped the place out in his head. He was supposed to meet someone in the forest today, a girl named Mab, along with an number of other Adventurers. Some cave entrance or something supposedly full of monsters and treasure. It seemed like the perfect opportunity to Havelock, and so he leapt at the chance to have a proper adventure.
The thought of it brought a smile to his face. This was going to be fun, he thought to himself. Havelock quickly checked himself over. He had on his starting plate armor, a simple and gray work that lacked any real kind of design, and on his back was a two-handed blade, a claymore that, again, lacked any kind of notable detail. In fact, the only real notable detail about any of his equipment was the fact that they were looking a little rundown, with some scratches and dents. Quite honestly, the only real thing of note that Havelock was wearing was a simple black eye patch over his left eye.
Havelock took a quick looks around where he stood now before he pushed forth. Everything in the forest looked all the same to him. He struggled to remember the directions to the meeting point... Some sort of clearing somewhere? It didn't take too much longer for Havelock to find it, ten minutes at the most. He pushed through the last bit of undergrowth into the meeting area glanced around at the others already there. Four people, a girl in surprisingly bright colored clothing, and three other men. He guessed the girl to be Mab. Havelock gave a nod in greeting to everyone there and said with a quirked brow and a smirk on his face, "So... We waiting on anyone else? Or is this all of us?" A five man party seemed to be a pretty decent number, though the levels of the other party members seemed rather... Unbalanced. Mab herself was level 15 druid, and the bard was level 11, while a level 1 swashbuckler and monk filled out the rest of the party. Havelock glanced over everyone's names, classes, and levels once more, just to make sure he hadn't misread. This was going to be interesting.

Je me sues perdue*…" Vee mumbled to herself while looking over the thin parchment of paper in her hand. Earlier that day she had been perusing the blacksmiths shops when she saw the local town's bulletin board. There she noticed a very particular classified aimed at all new players. Upon further investigation of the dingy note, she came to learn that a player named "Mab" was searching for a party to go exploring. The purpled haired female didn't have to read far until she happened upon the word "treasure". Apparently there was treasure somewhere off in the caves of Windsor. And with that, she was immediately in. Killing mobs, blacksmithing, and other tedious grinding was fun an all, but in Vee's eyes, nothing could beat a full day of exploration and treasure hunting. Clara herself always had a fascination with archeology and other games such as Uncharted, Tomb Raider, and of course the film series Indiana Jones. If she could have Vee live out her Indiana Jones dreams, there was no way she could decline. But as stated before, that was earlier today. And as of now, the poor Enchantress was unbelievably lost. Perhaps it was due to the crudely drawn map on the back of the note. Its guidance wasn't very helpful as the only thing it really consisted of was a bad drawing and a footnote simply telling her to meet "the group" at the edge of the Windsor Great Wood. It was always easier to pin the blame on something else rather than to own up to one's own incompetencies. It was at that point when Vee firmly decided that she desperately needed to study this new world's geography. She couldn't be relying on the guidance of something or someone else all the time. That was probably the first rule of not-being-a-noob.Violet eyes scanned the immediate area in hopes of spotting anything familiar or anything that looked remotely like a gathering party. Off in the distance she'd see the occasional solo adventurer or a familiar batch of flora, but other than that, nothing. That was until she saw a much (much) taller adventurer. He seemed a little paranoid by the way he was walking. Eyes switching back and forth, hand at his bow, even Vee could notice that his tense muscles were at the ready in case there was some surprise attack. She blinked and tilted her head to the side. He too had a level 1 toon, which was thankfully the first she had seen ever since entering the woods. She had high hopes that perhaps he would know where this adventure group was meeting. It did not take long to notice the small gathering of adventurers as she began walking in the same direction as the giant. When she finally came across the group it had already gathered into a number of six, including herself. The party was much larger than expected, but she didn't mind at all. The more the married after all. She carefully approached the gathering and spoke towards the relaxing blonde, assuming the half-alv was "Mab" based purely on level. The petite female flashed the rest of the crew one of her typical close-eyed smiles."Are you Mab, treasure hunting extraordinaire?"

"Ehe... Eheheheeeeee~" The tall woman wore a quite funny smirk as drool slowly dripped from her mouth to the lucky pillow that she was hugging in a tight gripp. The whole scene with her quietly laughing to herself whilst her tail happily danced around, like a dog... Was quite disgraceful indeed. But it was in times like this that she needn't to put a front before other people, and could be free from acting like the character she had set to be. With that said, it was probably still quite bad to sleep in when she already had plans to go out with someone named 'Mab' after the certain strange chain of events that had taken place the day before. It was probably thanks to a bit of luck, or maybe with the guidance of some unknown god, that made her move around a little tooo much in the bed, and fell down onto the hard oaken floor. With a sudden whimper, the fox tail lifted her hands up towards her aching head and with confused eyes, started to scan the room on what possibly could have bumped her so hard. As expected, it didn't take long for her to realise that she'd simply fallen of her bed. Well... It wasn't really hers, but it was until she were to leave the inn at least.
"Ouch..." Inori said with a sulky voice. "Why were I the subject of such a cruel awakening? When I was having such a good dream and all..." Though as with most dreams, she didn't really remember what it was about in the first place. She took a glance at the in-game clock and realised that... In 30 minutes, she were supposed to be at her groups meeting place and be ready to depart into the hidden cave of Windsor great wood. And here she was, barely awake and totally unprepared. Stress filled the girls fragile heart and she immeadietly began thinking of a plan how she should have the time to get there. Obviously she should start with getting of her pajamas and change into her ordinary miko suit. As unfortunate as it is, she still wasn't used to the height change between her real life body and her game characters... So it ended up in her once more falling down into the wooden floor, hurting her chin in the process. However, she had no time to cry over spilled milk and immeadietly stood up instead. She managed to quickly change into her uniform, then proceeded with going into the bathroom to wash her face and get the drowsiness away. She had to comb her sprawling hair. Hell, she even had to comb her tail too. She had always wished to level up as fast as possible, to get all of her future tails. But for once, she was happy with only having one of them at the moment. She hastily but by no means clumsily, tie her hair into a long pony tail, but still let some of her hair remain in the front of her face.
She slammed open her roomdoor, scaring the wits out of the people nearby, and ran to the counter to pay her visit at their inn. She had absolutely no time to spare if she even wanted a chance getting to their meeting place on time. It was quite the distance she had to close, given the small amount of time that she actually had left. It was a miracle in itself that she had managed to come so far in just 15 minutes. She guessed that she really could do such things if she set her mind to it, though it was a bit more sloopy than usual... The constant clattering of her wooden shoes caught quite an amount of attention whilst she ran through the streets. By all means, she was embarrassed to the abyss. But considering the situation, she didn't really have any other way of doing this. She reached the woods in a record time of 7 minutes, luckily despite the panic of no longer having her map guiding her, she managed to remember the spot where they were supposed to meet. As the day before, Mabs bizarre clothing of a tophat together with bunny ears and a lime suit, so strong in color that it hurt Inoris newly awaken eyes. She stood there, together with a group of five people and waited for her. It seemed to be a quite large group, considering that they'd be seven when they were to include Inori into the group. But honestly, she was just relieved that she had made herself here in time. She slowed down a bit and put her hand on her chest to take a deep breath, exhaling all of her earlier stress. "I'm sorry everyone, it seems like I woke up a bit late today" She said with a slight troubled face. They'd probably not appriciate the time she had took to come there at all.

One by one people came trickling in. Mab smiled as they came and walked up. Almost everyone was here, by the time Inori showed up The tall druid was at the end of her patience but tried not to show it. She blamed herself because Mab believed that she might have forgotten to state clearly either the meeting time, or the meeting place. Mab did not know but she blamed herself. Getting up Mab looked at everyone and smiled. She moved herself to a position where everyone could see the druid clearly. “Uhhm…. Good morning everyone!” Mab said cheerily. “I am so happy all of you are here today.” Mab started her introduction, giving others time to take in what she said and to nod back or something like that. Mab raised her hand to gain everyone’s attention again. “Well, save for one we are all here. Maybe Aurora is late so why won’t we wait for that person to get here. In the meantime; Why not introduce ourselves and get to know each other a little better? Then if Aurora arrives, we can decide our battle strategy and head out to our destination.” Mab asked, speaking in warm friendly tones, Mab seemed at ease and in a very cheerful mood indeed. “Why don’t I start…” Mab said to break the ice, and to allow others some time to decide what they wanted to share with this group, Mab did not really care how much they wanted to share but Mab would do her introduction the only way the druid could….. energetically. With her hands behind her back Mab looked at each of the people gathered here and slowly and and made sure everyone could hear her by raising her voice just a little. Afteral this was still a safe area in the forest. The ideal resting or starting place. “I am Mab, A druid – Path finder. I am a druid that is dedicated to healing so most of my magic is focused on healing. My spells are healing over time spells so no immediate cure but with our levels it sure feels that way hee hee. If need be I can provinde frontline support by summoning my wolf pup or by releasing lightening on an enemy. Furthermore I love hamburgers.” Mab said to finish off her short introduction. Mab felt it was unneeded to add her levels, as most of those could be gleamed from her statistic block. At least now the group had a feel for her abilities and also could form an idea what her role in this party would be. Slowly Mab let her eyes wonder towards each and every one gathered here. “Alright!, who wants to go next!” Mab said as she flopped back to the ground again. Giving anyone the opportunity to stand up and introduce themselves. Mab hoped to buy some time so Aurora might still find her way to this meeting place. Mab liked what she saw. Besiders herself and bast everyone here was just starting their adventuring careers and where still in the starting blocks. Mab was happy that they were happy to start this fun filled time with a girl as whimsical as Mab.

It was another morning that had inevitably came after switching positions with its sister, the night. It was just as the saying goes “Sunrise, sunset.” The possibility of seeing one without the other is night improbable. Aurora awoke to the burning goddess’ embrace along with the assistance of the gentle breeze washing against her face. She shied away from the burning goddess’ rather warm affection, trying her hardest to get overtaken by the Sandman’s attack once again. She nestled her little body against the cool bark of the tree that she had slept in, finding solace in the contrasting temperatures of the burning sun and the cool tree.
As she was starting to fall under the sleeping spell like many others before, a beautiful aria of chirping resonated from a higher branch of the tree she had taken refuge in. The brow of the little girl had slightly twitched in annoyance from the constant ruckus. With a little sigh, she slowly took her forehead and placed it just against the tree. The birds were still happily singing their little song, just heeding to their own business. In one swift movement, she brought her had back and rushed it forward, banging her head against the defenseless tree repeatedly before screaming at the top of her lungs, “SHUT UP, YOU RATS WITH WINGS!” The birds immediately flew away after being disturbed by the tired woman, squawking as they flapped their little wings away.
Aurora just wanted sleep before she went on the quest for today, which would be soon. With blooding coursing down her face from bashing her head against the earlier annoyance, she tried to get back into her comfort zone and grab some Z’s. She nestled herself against the tree yet again, a content smile creasing her face. She was finally able to get back to sleep for however long she had originally intended, the titan had completely succumbed to the Sandman’s attack.
She awoke to find the sun was at the highest point in the sky and noticed she had overslept, “You’re kidding, right?! Argh, dammit!” She bashed her head in once again and sprung another blood fountain because she was stupid enough to oversleep. She looked down onto the ground under her to find a pack of deer grazing, she didn’t have time to hoof it so why not have someone else hoof it for her? She closely watched the movements of the herbivores and jumped down on top of the nearest mount she could acquire. Just her luck she had landed on the buck, and just like it’s name it started to buck and protest to its random visitor jumping onto its back.
Aurora held as tight as she could onto her only transportation, leaning in closer to its ear. “Listen to me and listen well. You don’t like me and I don’t like you, but just give me a ride and you’ll never have to see me again.” The alpha deer looked back and gave a slight nod and started running, Animal Trainer had come in handy. Now maybe she wouldn’t be late for her quest, if she had continued as is she’d just barely make it, “Okay, let’s go Jaeger!”
A sharp gleam appeared in the buck’s eyes as it started to grunt. Aurora had squinted at the mount as she noticed something about this beast she had hijacked. Apparently just because Jaeger had agreed to give her a ride that didn’t mean it was going to be a smooth one. Just as she noticed the weird behavior, they had entered a thick and tall briar patch. Tiny scratches and prickly vines appeared on her body, adorning her already bloody face. She hung on for her life as she gritted her teeth as they sifted through the briar patch, “You stupid walking pack of sausages! I’m not in the mood for your crap right now!” She gripped Jaeger’s horns, holding on as tight as she could.
“Alright, you want to play games?! Then, let’s play!” she exclaimed as she gripped Jaeger’s horns tighter and slammed her ankles against his sides. Her lips contorted into a crazed grin, which somehow complimented her blood red face and tiny scars. Jaeger honked, still trying to drop his rider from his back. Aurora only condescendingly looked down on the buck with the same contorted crazed grin. He didn’t take well to being looked down upon, Jaeger had rushed headlong into a forest of low hanging trees and vines. Aurora only laughed as she caught onto his idea and took out her crossbow, “You like making this hard, don’t you?” Wrapping her legs around the buck’s body so that she wouldn’t fall off, she took aim at the vines after loading bolt and fired, breaking the little barrier that she had repeatedly come across on this hijacked piggyback ride.
She wasn’t too far off from her party since she could barely make out the mumblings of the group. She yanked on Jaeger’s horns for him to stop just at a rocky summit above what she had assumed to be her group. After wiping the blood and some of the dirt off her, she heaved a relieved sigh that she had finally made it. “You know, Jaeger, I want to thank you for giving me the ride-” her sentenced was stopped short after she was mule kicked off the boulder and into the middle of the group. She face planted hard enough into the group that her wound had reopened yet again. As if nothing had happened, she quickly got up and looked back into the direction she had fell, “You dirty excuse of a mount! You better hope I don’t see you again, next time I do, I’ll freakin’ murder you in front of your family and eat you all! SON OF A-UGH!”
After her little outburst, she had remembered where she was and looked at the group she was supposed to be with, blood dripping from her face to the ground below. After huffing and heaving, she couldn’t articulate her words. Too many thoughts were rushing through her head, not even five minutes and she had already made a fool of herself. This had only seemed to anger her more, “Argh! Forget it! My name is Aurora, sorry for being freakin’ late, dammit!” Her wolf-hair tendencies were made known with her ears and tail appearing from her massive amounts of rage. Guthbrand watched the others arriving, first came a bard, he was short but had a good frame on him, a well kept goatee adorned his face, and he was almost the same level as Mab the Druid "At the very least, it means that there is more than a single higher level person that we can count upon during this dungeon delving." he thought to himself as he watched the man a moment before turning his attention to the other arrival that he hadn't noticed had arrived before him. He was nearly as tall as he himself was, he was young with different colored eyes and a swashbuckler to boot, "What was that called again? Hetra.. No, no that wasn't right. Hmm.. Ah Heterochromia, that's right. Why would someone choose that for their character? Perhaps he had it in real life?" He pondered to himself, he shook his head, "It is not like it really matters." he reminded himself, many had chosen different heights and builds, hair and eye colors, and other characteristics that weren't inline with their real world self's. He wasn't sure why, but then again how was anyone to know that they would actually have to live with those choices? Shaking his head dismissed that line of thought and instead moved on to examining the next arrival. This one was perhaps the most interesting of those that had arrived so far, even though he was level one like they were he wore an eye patch over his left eye, "Is he actually missing his eye? Or is it just a mock up? Did he choose to have his character missing an eye or was it an injury that was inflicted in this world?" He would need to ask, he had no idea what was permanent in this world and what just healed away with rest and healing items. Other than the eye he appeared to be average, in height and build (at least for an adventurer), he was direct and to the point and another level one, this time a guardian. "At least we have a tank if we need it." His attention moved on to the next arrival, this time a female, obviously of the Ritual race with the random assortment of tattoos on her face and body, she had an odd name, just two letters "Possibly stands for something?" and a of violet eyes that she closed when she smiled at the rest of them, "Does she close them every time she smiles?" she seemed to like to extravagate, what with the way she asked about Mab being a treasure hunter extraordinaire. He would need to keep that in mind, otherwise there might be misunderstandings during the attempt at the dungeon, which was something he'd rather prefer to avoid. She was a level one Enchanter, a class he had not seen much of in his time here, at least her class and race was a good fit for each other with the bonuses they received. Another female arrived shortly there after, apologizing for waking up late, "Rather tall for a female." he noted, she appeared rather young and wore a set of wooden shoes, "That has to be uncomfortable when walking out here, hopefully it's not a liability." Another young appearing one, this time she was a first level shaman. That was another class that wasn't as popular, they were a damage absorption based one instead of a regular healer so it made some sense. It was around this time that Mab stood smiling, she spoke of it being a good morning, "I suppose it is." he agreed in his own mind. She claimed to be happy to see them all here today, Guthbrand grew a bit weary and looked over his shoulder and out into the forest for a moment looking to see if there were others out there ready to strike them. He caught Mab raising her arm, he supposed to draw his attention as she began to speak again. Apparently there was one more arriving in this group, named Aurora, they were going to keep waiting for them and she wanted us to introduce themselves and get to know each other better before the last of them arrived and then they could discuss how they where going to fight before they set off. She then went into a basic introduction you might expect from a new student or some one in a addict meeting, though with a bit more energy than you would expect from an introduction at either of those groups. She spoke louder than she had before as she introduced her self, her class and the fact that she had the Pathfinder subclass. She also included her main focus was on healing "As opposed to what? Disabling?" he pondered a moment, she went on to explain about having an animal companion, "So druids get pets as well, like his brother or an Animal trainer." and that she had lighting attacks and liked hamburgers. Guthbrand wasn't sure why she had included that last part, it was a bit odd. She hadn't included her level, but then again everyone could see that, "As well as her class." he added to himself before she asked who wanted to go next before she flopped down on the ground once more. Guthbrand paused a moment to let someone else come forth if they wanted to before he opened his mouth to speak up and introduce himself, it was just then that a girl came flying from above them landing face first into the ground in the center of the group, near Mab. Guthbrand's mouth had been open to speak but snapped shut as he immediately tensed, eyes shifting from the girl that had just landed towards the direction she had come from, he was ready to fight once more, it took only a moment for girl to leap to her feet and start screaming about something being a dirty excuse of a mount, that she was going to kill it and eat it. His eyes had snapped back to her and saw that she was covered in blood, with a wound on her face where she had landed, she seemed to be very angry and lost for words as she started heaving. Guthbrand's hand was tight around the arrow as he started to put tension on the string, while she was short size didn't matter much in this world, she could be just as strong if not stronger than a character that was his size. When she spoke again angrily he found that this was the last member of the group they where waiting on, Aurora. Her ears and tailed had came into existence as she stood there, identifying her as a wolf-hair. Guthbrand took a good look around the perimeter, and where she had come flying from before he relaxed upon seeing no other players lurking ready to strike. He turned his attention back to the very short and small girl that had just arrived, she was tiny compared to most people in the real world not to mention in this world. She sported pink hair, was apparently a caviler and seemed to have anger issues. Her class was assassin, which he supposed the small height would help with. Guthbrand cleared his throat after a moment and continued with the introduction he had intended to provide to begin with, "Guthbrand, Monk, Hunter, I'm a switch-hitter, doesn't matter if your up close or at range, I've got a way to reach out and touch ya." he didn't add anything else to it, it was short and to the point. He would let the others introduce themselves and add random tidbits of information about themselves to it, it wasn't something he cared to do, at least not until he got to know them better. --------------------------

Klide had stood at the meeting place from sometime, he was getting uncomfortable being so close to a woman for such a long amount of time. He had seen everyone who came to the group in order, and had made his judgments solely on appearance. First, there was a man taller than he, who went by the name of Guthbrand. He looked like a sturdy and strong Monk, though he was still wearing only his starter armor, a dark brown set of clothes over a padded defense jacket which reached down to his wrists, which seemed to offer very little protection, with bow in hand, arrows on his hip and little else of any significance. Aside from Mab, Guthbrand was just like any level one, inexperienced and ill equipped, which made him Klide's equal.
The next to come was a higher level Bard named Bast, who radiated fumes of alcohol. Bast was a bit shorter than Klide, and looked more like a free spirit, than an actual person, he seemed to not have a care in the world, which was fine, as long as he could hold his own in a fight. His face adorned a fantastic goatee though he looked as if he'd just been out for a morning jog (possible the sweat out the alcohol?), with his body sweating the way it was. He spoke to Mab, and in that instant, Klide saw an emblem on his tongue which revealed that Bast was a Half-Alv.
Third to appear was another level one by the name of Havelock. He seemed human enough, and he was average in most regards, but his eye-patch was interesting. Klide saw it as a sign of strength, that even though this man only had vision in one eye, (or so it seemed, at least) he continued to be an adventurer. Whether he was disabled like this both in the real world and game, or just in the game, Havelock was a devoted adventurer. It was also good to see that the team now had a Guardian. A tank unit would be helpful in the upcoming battles, though the team also had two units above level ten, who could watch over them well too.
After that came the first female (aside from Mab). She was a Ritual Enchanter by the look of things, and she had eyes that shone with an incredible purple light. However, her name, U.V. was a bit unique to say the least, as it consisted of two letters. Klide was no expert on Ritual enchanters, so it could have been a racial norm to be named with only two letters. It was good to have an Enchantress on the team. A class who, by definition, was one of the best (if not THE best) party members to have around. U.V. would definitely be a valuable asset in any upcoming conflicts.
Finally, the seemingly last member of the party came. She was a tall Fox-tail, and a Shaman to boot. She had a sort-of dreamy look on her face. She ran into the crown of adventurers and stopped with a hand on her chest, seemingly to relax her. She apologized for being late with a troubled look on her face. Though, when she saw that no one was really annoyed or mad, she seemed to smile a little bit.
After a bit of waiting, Mab spoke up. She started saying something about morning and happy, to which Klide responded "yep". He hoped it was the right response, because he wasn't paying attention in the slightest. He heard her say something else, but wasn't paying enough attention to make out what it was. when he tuned back in for a moment, he heard the name Aurora. A beautiful name really, though he wasn't sure who she was. Then, with dread, he heard her say the word 'introductions' and 'get to know' in the same sentence. Then something about a battle strategy. And with that, she said "Why don't I start". Her introduction was basic, but what stood out was that she liked Hamburgers. Hamburgers were fantastic, and Klide enjoyed them as well. At that moment he got angry at himself for thinking in such a plain manner, he had no right or want for human contact, or so he kept telling himself. His entire life he'd stayed at a distance from people, 'why should this party be any different'. She sat and asked who woulld go next, giving the others a chance to decide if they wanted to go or not.
The one to stand was Guthbrand. Before he spoke, he looked over at a bush not to far from the group. Klide was almost certain that he'd heard it too. For sometime now, Klide had been distracted by a distant shuffle in the woods that had gradually become louder. Just as Guth opened his mouth to speak, a figure went flying over the shrubbery, and face planted not two feet away from Klide, She got up, covered in blood, and began to hurl curses at the woods. When she finished, she looked at everyone with a crazed glare. She was a wolf-hair by the look of things, and she was still bleeding. After opening her mouth she spoke thus, "My name is Aurora, sorry for being freakin’ late, dammit!" Klide simply stood and pressed a piece of cloth to her head to staunch the bleeding. After he tied the cloth onto her head, he sat a bit farther back and introduced himself. "I an Klide the Swashbuckler, I am also a Tracker, and i like killing thing as fast as possible". He then waited for the next person to speak.

A buck had sent a little girl flying into the center of the group, well if the power of plot was real this would be the missing lass, low and behold she was… though he wasn’t so happy about how loud she was even with that fountain coming out of her head it was no reason to shout...ok maybe it was. The jumble of thoughts he called his mind came up for a thousand good reasons and another thousand bad one’s for why anyone would come in on a buck, cavaliers would have a summonable horse and animal tamers would have tamed the thing so he would just mark the reason as a strange morning, or a bet and be done with this thinking thing it was bringing back his headache.
Two people had introduced themselves on the lasses arrival, both keeping it short and to the point, like the tall bright lass who was once been his junior in levels. He felt like rambling might give himself something to focus his brain on without headaches and talking about himself seemed as easy a thing for that purpose.
“Hello I’m Bast and I’m a Bard.” Why did he feel like he was introducing himself to a AA meeting, hmm just one of those wonders of life he will never answer “I also tinker a bit with mechanics but that I mainly use the skills to take machines left around the city to examine them and research my plans for those Items I hope to build later than anything crafted in the here and now. And if you think that’s a useless section of my skills you will get a kick off knowing I dabble in fortune telling that’s right while you guys track what is in the here and now, I’ll be able to tell you what’s spawning around us… sounds useful till you think about how if your in a area long enough for something to spawn around it you probably have enough time to wait on the farm of the kills anyway. But a class is a class. And if you didn’t already know I’m best as a support role for my bardic skills in buffing you guys up from attack speed to Echo’s of your magical attacks. I prefer bacon and sausages to burgers but there is no reason not to mix and match for greater taste….seems enough ‘bout me but if there is anything you want to know ask.”
He knew most of that was unnecessary but he had no reason to hold back so why would he. Hmm wait 1…2…3..4 yes huh, bast realised for the first time that there were an equal amount of men and women huh was this a mixer gone wrong? *Whelp* Caves, treasure and prey will control this path, he was not doing karaoke as the only bard he would be the music box and that would just get repetitive nonsense. Though the thought induced the desire to make sure if he ever did get home to cut back on the anime, as if he was starting to straight away think that, he and his foresight were likely going down silly routes. He sighed and wondered if he should be paying attention or just follows when everyone was moving. He decided to try and listen…how much good that would be he was unsure. “Oh yeah and if no one had noticed I like to drink.”

lender fingers ran though purple tresses as Vee shifted her weight and placed a hand on her hip. For now, the young woman's starter staff was strapped to her back, so she had little to worry about in terms of carrying it. Instead she focused her attention on this rag-tag crew of adventurers and tried ever so hard to remember their names. Vee had always been awful at introductions and even worse at remembering names to faces. It was during times like these where she couldn't be any more grateful that a small HUD would appear above each person's head whenever she willed it. But she knew eventually she'd have to legitimately remember at least a few individual's names. So far there was…Mab, Aurora, Klide, Guthbrand, and Bast. That in itself was enough for her to try and remember. She observed everyone from attire, to demeanor, to outerwear, and supposed that for now, she's associate each one of them based off such characteristics. As each person eventually introduced each other and revealed their focuses, she silently mulled each of these attributes over in her mind. Believe it or not, so far they seemed to be a fairly diverse group, which was good. Based off of what people said along with what their HUDs revealed, nobody had overlapping classes. She couldn't quite say the same for subclass, but more importantly this seemed like a very balanced team in terms of covering all bases for basic combat. Vee could already think of a few good ways how they could use this squad of theirs effectively and efficiently. The next question would have to be if they would even need to worry about things such as combat to begin with. The Enchantress secretly hoped that that wouldn't be the case. They were just treasure hunting...right? Sure combat in MMORPGs were always rewarding and adrenalin rushing, which was even more so now that this was "real life", but nothing could beat the enjoyment of casual gameplay. What was that quote again? All work and no play makes Johnny a dull boy? And plus, she had just gotten back from the swamps a little less than 24 hours ago. And there she had her fill of combat thanks to a particular dull Lander quest. "Mug the goblins," they said. "It will be fun!" they said. After accepting the assignment, Vee was quick to learn that nothing good ever came out of goblins unless one enjoyed being a victim to a vulgar display of pelvic thrust dances and twerking. Despite successfully ransacking the goblin camp and returning a merchant's stolen goods, she had it in her mind that it was going to be a long while before returning to that god forsaken map. Once there was a break in the string of introductions, the purple-eyed woman took it upon herself to continue the trend before anything could fall into an awkward silence. "My name is U.V. but you can call me Vee if that is easier. Most do," she started things off with. A distinct, but not incomprehensible, french accent hung off the drawls of her words if anyone hadn't noticed already. With French being her first language and English being her second, it wasn't uncommon for her to subconsciously slip back into her native tongue without thinking twice. This tended to happen if she was either angry or thinking out-loud to herself, as she was sure her new acquaintances might learn if they chose to spend more time with her."I am an Enchanter, focused for now on crowd control. I will not be useful in direct melee, but if we need to immobilize a target for a coordinated attack, this I can do...And..my favorite drink would have to be Gin and Tonic." That ending section of her comment was a last minute addition as a branch off of Bard's introduction. She liked how he didn't keep things too serious and tried to keep that trend going. Vee was never one to be overly terse with her words. This was why if she ever did bring out that side of her, you know shit got real. --------------- OOC: Lalalala Word count: 695 Player tags: Everyone [/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul]

Post by Havelock on Jun 19, 2014 23:16:31 GMT
Good party layout so far, Havelock thought to himself. Even with Aurora's sudden introduction, it seemed as if no one had any main classes that had overlapped. Hell, with everyone here, they nearly had three-fourths of all the classes possible in the game. He wasn't quite sure how a party with so many people would work out though, last he remembered Elder Tales only supported parties of six people, though he guessed they could bump it up by turning this into a raid group or whatever the term was. Well, it'd all sort itself out hopefully.
With everyone here, it seemed introductions were in order. Havelock listened quietly as everyone introduced themselves. It was a little strange, he thought, that all the people here seemed either extremely chatty, or rather reticent in their words. Mab and Bast, for example, both spoke quite a bit, though Mab seemed more active about it, and friendly. Bast, on the other hand, was more informative with his introduction, going into detail about his skills and abilities, though that was possibly because he had more to go into about compared to the level ones around here. Now that he thought about it, it looked as if the level ones all had less to say about themselves, though people like Guthbrand and Klide seemed to be keeping their introductions a little short on purpose. Perhaps it was more because the level ones had less abilities, and thus less options. He'd only started with a single main class ability himself, and he assumed it would have been the same for everyone else present. Havelock glanced over at both Inori and U.V., giving them a quiet nod of recognition before speaking himself. "Well, my name is Havelock, if you all didn't notice already. I'm a level one Guardian," he said, gesturing to his armor and two-handed sword strapped to his back with a slight smile. "Hopefully I'll be here to take most of the damage, and stop any monsters from chewing on you guys. I'm also a tracker and a mechanic, and... I like adventure I suppose. Hopefully we'll get plenty here, eh?"

Mab smiled broadly at the girl that just blundered her way into the clearing. Face planting herself in the middle of the group was just a splendid way to get things going. People where using rags to close the wound she had gotten by her spectacular landing. Mab targeted Aurora and used Cure Bloom to heal the little wounds she had. Cure bloom was especially useful for the minor wounds. While Aurora was sparkling with a pink hue, Mab listened to each and everyone introduce herself. The only one who remained silent was Inori. Most of the boys were being typical in their introduction, not sure why that was Mab decided against commenting on it. “Now that we know each other’s names; why not get going.”Mab said while looking at each of the group in turn. To prevent aggro because of her level Mab needed to adjust her level to the others, Choosing Bast she made herself level 11 too so she would not stick out too much and the monsters would not come chasing in a horde. To those observing the girl the lowering of levels was quite obvious. “The dungeon I found is about ten minutes walking that way.”Mab said while pointing in a direction. Mab seemed sure enough that if they could reach it the rest should be quite easy. The dungeon was designed for low levels and should be very manageable for this party. “Who is going up front?”Mab asked looking at the group again. “Well basically I am only here for support if thing go wrong, so why don’t you guys sort out a marching order, and I am happy to help out if needed, I am sure that Bast feels the same." Mab sat herself down and decided to leave up to the others to decide roles; Who would be a leader? Who would just wait and see? Where would the tanks position themselves? The support characters; the magic users? Well the list was almost endless. In any case Mab would leave it up to the group to decide these things amongst themselves, though if needed she would be open for questions, or if needed give suggestions. Mab herself was in no way very experienced herself so she was just curious how this would pan out. If lucky the group would be on their way soon and would have their first challenging fight. Mab would make sure no one would die on the spot. Mab hated it if people died in front of her. She wasn’t having it. No sir. Especially for this the Nature revive had been chosen so she could save lives. It was just not a skill she was happy to discuss with everyone. Mab wanted to keep the skill a surprise only to use if needed. Otherwise people might start counting on it. That was not something Mab wanted. These people where adventures like her, and they should rely on their skills and common sense to survive. OOC: Well Inorin has not posted this week. And that is sort off the end of my patience for waiting as I do want to keep the thread moving. If Inorin wants she can just post in the new post round. OOC: And sorry not a great post

Klide watched as his cloth became an obsolete, bloody accessory on Aurora's head. Her wound was closed quickly by Mab's spell 'Cure Blossom' which also added a glowing light around Aurora. Mab was smiling when Aurora had appeared, and seemed to like the way she entered the circle. She listened to everyone's introductions, but Klide notices that the pretty fox-tale girl had remained silent. He sat on the grass, waiting for everyone to finish, had listened to everyone, but she had remained silent. 'Perhaps she simply feels embarrassed about being late?' Klide thought to himself. His thoughts were averted when Mab began speaking. She said that The dungeon was about ten minutes walk from where the group was situated. She looked at everyone individually, and asked "Who is going up front?”. Klide looked at all the other's faces, and though of the most logical positions for each member. He was the swashbuckling tracker, with the advantage of silent movement. There was a guardian, a monk, an enchantress, a bard, an assassin, and a druid, as well as a shaman. It would be logical for Havelock to take the front, as he could us his tracker skills to scope out the front and get back to the group with his findings. Behind him, would be the Monk, Guthbrand and together, the two of them would form the Vanguard. Behind the Vanguard would be Aurora, the Assassin, with her quicker supporting attacks. After that, would be the Bard, Bast, who would use his buffing spells to support the front-line, and use his combat if necessary. After him would be the Enchantress and the Shaman, who would use their magic to support all the units in front of them. last would be the Druid and the rear guard. The Druid, Mab, would focus on healing at the units and keeping casualties at a minimum. The rear guard was just that, a guard in the rear, Klide would suit the role well as he had his silent movement ability from being a Tracker, and he wasn't the most social in the group so staying in the rear would make it a bit easier to stay silent and get the job done. Klide had nothing against any of the members, he just wasn't good at trusting people. He shared his plan with the group, not mentioning his secondary motives for being the rear-guard. He waited in silence for any criticism that may come his way. Word Count: 410 Tags: Mab , Guthbrand , Bast , Havelock , U.V. , Inori , Aurora

Post by Inori on Jun 22, 2014 19:58:06 GMT
Thankfully, it seemed like her teammates didn't really mind her rather late arrival which had relieved her greatly. Rather than that... According to Mab, it seemed like someone named Aurora was even later than herself. But starting with the introductions to buy some time seemed like a good idea. It would also help the party to get a first impression of everyone too at that. But it only took one; Mabs introduction, until the last member came in with a... Quite dynamik entry. She was tempted to give the red haired girl an applause, but decided against it as she frowned towards the girl's rather aggressive attitude. She was probably not the type of person that Inori would get along with. But hey, at least she could give it a try, and they'd have to do so anyway if wanting to have a chance in that dungeon. Mab however, seemed more suitable. Inori got the impression that she had a positive and caring personality. She even healed the foul mouthed newcomer so that she wouldn't need to bleed any longer.
And then... Came the guys introduction. Honestly, Inori didn't really know what to say or expect of them. The monk seemed a bit to tense, wary and quite untrusting of everything around him. When Aurora had appeared to the group, he had even held his hand towards the bow for a little while... He didn't really share any detailed information than that he was a monk and a hunter, which anyone could have checked on their HUD. It might have just been her but, Inori frankly thought of this "Guthbrand" as a quite uncooperative fellow. Then there was Klide, the swashbuckler... Honestly, he was quite the same like Guthbrand, the monk. Though, he didn't seem to have the habit or urge to ready his weapon when a new player suddenly arrives. But there were other factors that made her dislike the guy... Not only did the "I like killing thing as fast as possible" sound frigging horrifying, but there was also another distant vibe coming from him that she couldn't really stand.
Ofcourse not all the boys gave off such negative impressions on her. The other two of the four actually made a quite good one, if she'd say so herself. Sure, the bard Bast reeked of alcohol but... He seemed like a nice and open kind of person. If it was due to deciet or intoxication, she couldn't tell yet, but that remained to be seen here in the future. Havelock also seemed nice enough. She could imagine that it's important for a tank and the healer to have a good "relationship" with each other too. If poth parties knew more about each other's personalities it'd be easier to figure out what the other were thinking and to plan things out more smoothly after all. Another thing was that Inori had the funny feeling of that she might have seen this person before...
The enchantress felt a bit around the middleground to Inori. Her talk was still quite casual unlike the other more unfriendly bunch like Aurora, Guthbrand and Klide... But yet, she didn't really feel as open and talktive as Mab, Bast and Havelock...
... ... ...
Suddenly, Inori realised something that blew her mind. She had yet to introduce herself in front of the others! She had spaced out, looking at the others so much, that she completely forgot about herself. True, they could obviously see her name and class, but they knew nothing of what skills she had and what she was aimed to do! And Mab had already started to begin a talk about our strategy! She had to step forward and introduce herself before it was too late. She perfectly (or not) masked her unsure expression, and took a step forward into the group.
"Uhm... I'm sorry, it seems like I was a bit too focused in inspecting the others, so I forgot to introduce myself." Inori began. "Hello everyone, my name is Inori and I am a fox tail. People have called me by the name Inorin before, so you could use it if you'd prefer that instead. Though that actually makes the name even longer... I'm a shaman, and I know there are certain shamans that choose to go for a more offensive approach, but personaly I've decided to go the normal way and play with it as a support class. I can create an energy shield that defends and absorbs a certain amount of damage on someone. I can also cure curses and mind effects that might influence you thamks to my priestess subclass. Ehm... I like fluffy things."

“Well personally, I think we should just get moving on Mab stay close to front till we reach the cave since you know where it is after that taking whichever position feel best for healing from for you, the back to see us, mid for protection and the central view of each players health to be in as easy sight for looking at without straining around(though a lot of spinning around so not preference but I know some do like it) or front if you have a plan up there, don’t really see what it would be other than personal training with your pup but meh whatever floats your boat. For the rest Klide’s plan seems good but if you feel like switching it up for whatever reason do so third id s free country…so far anyway so go where makes you happy, fight however makes you happy...but let’s walk and talk at least it ain’t hard to switch on the move. Standing around is just getting us less action and more repetition. Oh yeah Mab since you got yourself a pup and all have you levelled also for the Tongue to chat with it or kept to more druid stuff for your levels so far?”
Bast wasn’t really the kind of guy that felt planning your line order was the most important you end up scattering and adjusting anyway, really other than keeping a tank up front and a healer where ever they feel happiest he felt the rest was about preferences…well unless you’re going down a corridor that is only wide enough for literal single file then placement mattered but not very much else. So he moved forward hoping to budge the group onward and towards the happy questy parts…though the conversation on their way would need to include something hmm he wanted to introduce Inori, Caerbannog after that fluffy comment but he couldn’t add up in his head a good way to say what he wanted to without it sounding wrong, weird or cosplay dirty…so he went with what he knew “So Havelock What kind of things did you want to build when you decided to go for Mechanics?” Bast never noticed his light muttering about Caer before this little statement muttering about her, the fluffy pink bear PJ, the plushy bags and thoughts about Tails from the Sonic the hedgehog and if at the time of the great plushy tailoring if anyone made a foxtail a “Tails Onesie (with tail flap) and plushies.” Hell he was slightly reassured by his sent of alcohol no one would be close enough to hear muttering…it’s not like anyone was close or has good larger animal ears…nope he was safe…yup. Smiling he tried to feel the pace everyone was going at while he waited to hear what people were saying while they walked on the road to Mab’s cave and the adventure that awaits them inside. ”*Sniff*Sniff* maybe I should look out for another water source to try splashing some more onto remove the smell…hmmm.”

Havelock scratched his chin for a moment as they were asked to come up with a plan. There were a few obvious basics they could do, but otherwise... Well, Havelock wasn't exactly one for detailed plans. The Fox-Tail Shaman, Inori, gave her introduction just a little late, but that didn't matter too much to him. Most of that information was already shown by the little information box that pretty much anyone could look up, though he supposed that simply looking things up would never replace a proper greeting.
Bast, the bard, began speaking, giving out a quick and rather open-ended plan, leaving most of the player placements up to the personal preference of the actual Adventurers themselves. Havelock glanced around at everyone one more time, nodding to himself, and saying,"Alright, sounds like a good enough plan.", before making his way to the front of the group, headed in the direction Mab had pointed earlier. He began to whistle a quiet tune to himself as he walked with his hands resting on top of his head, something from a pop song that he no longer remembered the name of or words to. All in all, it was rather nice. He had both a goal and good company. He'd miss this when it was over, Havelock thought to himself. Well, he supposed doing this kind of thing was his entire life now, so hopefully he'd be able to do something like this again soon.
Bast approached him as they walked, asking him if he had any big plans for his engineering skills. Havelock shrugged in reply, letting his arms drop to his side as he tilted his head in thought for a moment. "Ehh, I dunno... I just picked it at the time cause it seemed, you know? No real plans for it, not yet anyways..." He turned to face the bard once more, about to ask his own question when he found the man quietly muttering to himself. Havelock quirked a brow, but stayed silent. He wouldn't ever voice this aloud, but... Bast reminded him much like a homeless man... Covered with the stench of alcohol, and the mumbling quietly to himself... Havelock had nothing against him, after all Havelock had found plenty of times where he was talking to himself, but still... It was just a little bit unsettling, the combination of it all. He decided to keep his mouth shut for the moment, turning his attention back to the road, and to stay on the lookout for any monsters.

here wasn't any point of adding in her two cents in terms of group formation, as whatever she was generally intending to say had already been stated by the adventurers before her. The only real thing she would insist upon would be a portion of what Bast had said. At this point early in the game, formations meant very little unless they were to be marching through extremely narrow passageways. The woman figured that everyone here was already familiar with the do's and don'ts of an MMORPG so she trusted that they all knew the basic idea of what their roles did. Tanks in the center of whatever mob they were fighting, DPS behind the target, and support all within their respective locations which they felt most comfortable assisting. Unless Mab had truly meant more along the lines of who was to be their "leader", which she still had no adamant opinion on, Vee was very much content allowing things to fall into place as they naturally would have in due time. It always worked out that way."As long as I have a clear view of what we are fighting when the time comes, I can adapt to whatever situation."The group eventually started shuffling along towards whatever quest was apparently ahead of them, as per Bast's prompting. The bard was an interesting fellow. Sure he somewhat smelled and seemed a tad bit on the eccentric side, but those kinds of characters were always the most interesting to be around. There were never moments of awkward silences around them. But unfortunately the man seemed to be too deep in conversation with Havelock (or was it himself?) for Vee to appropriately shimmy her way into the chat. So instead she dropped back to wherever Mab was in their little group and glanced over to her. The courtesan didn't have much to say as to her first impression of the blonde. Mab's face was young, and so was her voice, but she was also so tall. The Druid was much taller than most other women she had seen during her travels so far, which was surprising since everyone and their mothers had apparently created tall characters for Elder Tale. The tallest she had yet to encounter was Guth, and even then, he was a male. She was beginning to wonder if she should create a Small Users Unite Guild just for kicks. The Small Users Guild: "We're not short, we're space efficient!""How did you find this dungeon? Was it accidental or did a Lander tip you off to it?" she asked the blonde while the troupe walked towards the cave which no doubtfully contained treasures beyond their wildest dreams (or so she wished), "This is my first time exploring a dungeon. I'm excited." Vee may have spent her time dealing with goblins, other mobs, and exploring the towns, but everywhere else outside of the main save zones was still a mystery waiting to be explored. The enchantress was secretly glad that Mab also happened to be a pathfinder. At least now she could be assured that the group wouldn't get lost in this confusing looking forest. She had yet to experience what extreme hunger or thirst felt like in this world. From what she was told, adventurers never died from it. But those were still two feelings she had no interest in experiencing.--------------- OOC: Awful post. I had no idea what to do xD Word count: 564 Player tags: Everyone [/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul][/ul]
