When Emmerich got on board the train car, he walked over to the closest bench; The steel plates of his armor clamored lightly together as he moved and sat down close to where he entered. After sitting down, he turned his head and looked over at the doorway. He was curious about what kind of adventurers were assigned with him for this mission. He hadn't met them in person yet, he was just told to meet them over at one of the restored subway stations and take a train over to the station beyond this one. The station beyond had some issue with a creature of some kind. It has been halting the progress of turning that station into a functional one, that could help with transporting equipment and supplies to their workers, and possibly have use for civilians in the future, if they could make it safe enough for everyday transportation. That was what he was told by the underground exploration committee as for why they need help from the more combat orientated adventurers.
Sure Emmerich could help them work on the subway line with his skills in welding, but the idea of fighting a creature lurking in one of the stations sounded too good to past up. Plus he wasn't sure if they had welding equipment in this world anyway. But then again if they could get make trains ready for use, why not equipment for welding? Maybe he was thinking to much about it. But he would like to try out welding again, just to keep himself from getting rusty in his craft. He has spent a lot of time fighting monsters, that he hasn't even once thought about making use of his blacksmithing subclass. Oh well, he'll try to remind himself later to start trying it out; He already outgrown his current equipment. He gave a heavy sigh. He just couldn't believe that he was already at such a level now.
"Geez! When will they get here!?"
Emmerich impatiently tapped his foot as he continued to wait for the others to enter the train and begin their mission.

I was about to search if there is fish flavored cookies on the market when I caught the info. There is some sections from the market I didn’t check yet, and I was struggled between keep searching the tasteful fish cookies or abandon the search and go to the meeting place, and my choice is… keep searching. Yeah, what about delicious food, that important too, I also want to experience that, preferably something delicious with fishes as its ingredient. Something crispy would be nice. Moreover if someone already discovering new cooking recipe with full bowl of eastern chilies raw salad, ohmai. I am so want to find something like that around here. Lets see, this section seems has more food shops. I shift my gaze left and right, looking around if I can capture something befitting my description. There are several selections, but none of them attracting me. Hmm, this is bad. Now I have stirred away too much from our meeting place and I still cannot find the fish. Meh, should I know it would be like this, I just went to the meeting place then.
I run in hurry, relying on my character build and my experiences about the routes around here. Not normal routes, just me jumping around abandoned buildings in my free times. Although I have mention about it somewhere. I pick the nearest susceptible abandoned building as the start, jump inside, and keep running. I quickly find the way out, reach the next stage, and still keep running. There are several buildings that still vacant. As the ruins, with their usual green feature and broken parts. I use them as my practice track, bringing life to my old hobby as in real life. But yeah, it will be handy for situation like this when I need to go somewhere fast across the city, without need to be in formal condition afterward of course since I will get all sweaty in normal human body term. The meeting place is not that far, it is somewhere underground as if the same underground I have explored before. Maybe those kobolds boss? I remember I have fight with some kobolds. Oh wait, there is already kobolds boss, so maybe kobolds bosses’ boss? The higher boss then normal bosses. Hmm, that should be it, even it seems complicated I think I can understand. Maybe I am actually a smart cat (scratch scratch) nah, that doesn’t matter. When I need to pummel something, then it should be pummeled, that’s all the matter. I wonder if I can pummel this boss, or will I assigned as the tank like the last time? That should work too, since either of them will get me closer to the boss. Ah, that should be the entrance.
I land on the ground and walking down to the subway. I found myself amazed with the setting place inside. There are shops there. Are they even there when I was joined in exploration? I don’t remember. This place is even brighter than it was. At least as my memory serves. I found it easier walking down here than I was before. It was nice, almost like a proper underground rail station, except the fact that I didn’t locate any train yet. I look at the rail tunnels before locating an adventurer who seems like he is being impatient and ready to begin the event. Well, I am at fault about this so, I thought I need to apologize “Hi, sorry for the wait. You know, fishes” I am walking casually and closing our distance. Then, I just squat down and take my rest ”I am Lukav, from Monk class. You can read the detail if we party. We will be party anyway right?” I said that nonchalantly while took a proper sit on the nearest rubble near the wall, and rest my back on the wall. Hmm, so cold here. Nice place to nap.
I put my arm on the back of my head as a pillow, then open my status panel with my other hand. I am scrolling around my skills, wondering if I have chance to unleash many of them this time. Hmm, survival is the highest priority. I cannot abandon my team mate only to shows up one skills or two. Yeah, that should be the proper manner. I wonder what our strategy this time. Will we beat it the normal way or there may be some spice in it. There should somewhere around this stage that indicate the whereabouts of our future enemy, or will it have minions? Since I start to think about how to protect those merchants near here if the fight will actually happens here. That should be no problem if we have two guardian in our group. I was in a party where I am being a second guardian before, so at least I have experienced fighting with our aggro overlapping. That was fun, trolling some kobolds so they confused to pick which target, although the skill still cost MP. Well, not that was the main reason we used aggro control like that, since the main purpose is to beat them. Beating monsters is always good, like doing some justice with reasonable violence. Hmm, that should be the setting since this world is a game. Sometimes in a game, we don’t need reason, it’s just there. Except, there are exception in this world, like Landers and animals which bringing the taste of real world. They are normal human along with normal animals, ruled by game mechanic. Ah, seems like I just ruin my attempt to quick nap. I take a glance around and notice the other adventurer is still there. Yeah, I am glad he is not bored with me. Since I just lay here without sounds. Now that I think about it, this adventurer near me is fully equipped with armor. I can’t help but think he is from Guardian class even I don’t spot any shield near him. I am about to ask, but there is a figure approaching us.

{Quick Swap Equipment} Quick Swap Equipment sets 1. Armour: Windsor Antiqua Leather Armor Hands: Windsor Antiqua Crossbow 2. Armour: Windsor Antiqua Leather Armor Left hand: Windsor Antiqua Short Spear (one-handed) Right hand: Beginner's Harmonica ********************************************************************************************************************************************** Bast had never been very good with trains and arriving at the correct time for them, he was either arriving far too early and so spent so long reading he had on occasion read through his trains arrival and departure, and the other times arrived in time to see the next train after the one he was meant to be on had started leaving while he watched. It was a sad mark of his skills in scheduling, so arriving here he saw little reason to believe he would be on time, or in fact have the right train but he came anyway…After all it was a largely more important quest and one that could help the city, so he was happy to participate in some way. He got to *a*platform with *a* train with an open cart with a couple of Adventurers inside…at least one wore the heavy steel plates of the likely guardian class though since he knew he could also wear such gear he might have to verify no defining shield, and the other a were cat with no obvious weapon and the cloth armour he was sure he had seen in the npc stores so…monk (unarmed the greatest giveaway…or the greatest trick…hmm.) Bast took his steps carefully in to the train and asked “So is this the train leaving for Thomas or am I late enough that it’s been dealt with already and were a clean-up crew…Cleaning up was the first event quest I did so I wouldn't be surprised if my timing was that bad but glad to meet you either way I’m Bast a bard, and If I’m completely on the wrong train and platform, please tell me where I am now going it’ll be fun either way but always nice to know where you’re going…or so I’ve been told. Oh and do you feel It’s more likely mobility and dodgy situation or a stand and take it situation… I’m just not sure…small corridors make me think metal but I’m just not sure trying to survive a mechanical *mini-boss’s* hits with cheap armour seem the best option, what about you guys any thoughts?” Bast rambled off in his normal slightly nervous, slightly inexcusably unsocial manner, then sat down and waited smiling to see if a reply would come or not...Bast had dealt sadly with both reactions and yet could never work out which one was in fact the correct way to answer him…after all he knew answering Bast meant that he might in fact reply…and why would anyone want more rambling. ********************************************************************************************************************************************** OOC: Pwyll hope given enough time for equipment you never messaged but if not just reply hear when you are ready. Sorry for the wait...and you in second seems a good idea combats Tags: Pwyll Emmerich lukavminaevword count: 426

It's every shameful fall, every mistake that I've made
Just as the train sounded that it was about to depart, a loud clanking sound could be heard coming from the platform. The footsteps seemed rather heavy, too. And they weren't in a rush. Each step made a loud thud, accompanied by the clanking of metal colliding. It slowly got drained out by the sound of the train starting its departure, but the doors were still open. As the doors made their closing sound, a figure stepped inside, just as the doors closed behind it. That figure appeared to be male, considering the height and broad shoulders. But that wasn't the defining feature. Wearing pure white plate armor which covered every inch of him, the adventurer with the name 「Pwyll」 above him gave off a sense of solitude and awe, despite being level 20 something. Other than the decor of his armor, what was most eye catching was what was being held on it.
Wrapped around each forearm was two feet of iron chains, with a further two on his shoulders, one on each side, left dangling on the back. On his left hip was a pitch black longsword with a katana of similar color set across his waist at the back, the hilt protruding on the left. Both were single edged, and every item had a Japanese marking on them in certain places, denoting the creator. What made it rather unique to look at was that each chain and weapon had a different glow to them. The katana had a dull fire red emanating from it while the longsword had an ice blue glow. For the chains, from right arm, shoulder, left shoulder, then arm, their glows were lightning yellow, water blue, wind grey and earth brown respectively. It was odd yet interesting how every equip had a different element.
As the train began moving, the white-clad knight slowly looked at each member of the team. If the train had already started, that meant the other adventurers, if there were any more, were already waiting at the platform ahead. Four in total on this train. Taking a deep breath in, then exhaling, the white soldier took a few steps to the side and leaned against the corner of the door so that he wouldn't fall through when it opened. He wasn't particularly close to where the other three were positioned, which was fine by him. This was the personality he had set for himself. The quiet, stoic character who rarely talked but performed well in battle. The others would probably get a surprise upon seeing his class as Swashbuckler since he was equipped in Plate. Was a dead giveaway that he was a blacksmith, though, so that may come in handy.
Manipulating his menu, he started sending out the party invites to everyone to get things started. Waiting until everyone had joined, he spoke up for what would be one of the few times he would speak. With his voice muffled and sounding metallic as it exited his helmet, it had a masculine tone to it. 「Assign roles. Leader. Who.」 Short and to the point, trying to talk as little as possible in case he let slip his feminine voice. His fox tail ears flat to his head, he wiggled them a bit so they didn't get stiff, the same for his tail that was currently running up the inside of his shirt and given little room to move. He wasn't cut out for the leader type of role. At least not for a long time. With his memory, he could serve better up front where he could apply his knowledge better.
That being said, considering his current equipment, he would probably be the off-tank as well as damage dealer. Looking at the first person, an impatient looking one, he figured they were going to be a tank. The same with the werecat that was close by. That left one more. Looking at the lightly dressed person, their equipment suggested a ranged, if not support role. If they were to be in the back, they would most likely have the best overview of the situation as it unfolded. They would serve best as leader, or at least control tower. Still, a decision would have to be made. Time to voice his strengths. 「My strengths. Memory, quick thinking, DPS, Off-Tank, adaptability.」 With that said in the same low tone, Pwyll bit his lip. Through the slit in the helmet, only his glowing obsidian eyes, enhanced in intensity due to his race, could be seen. He did not know what to expect down here. He didn't want to ruin his no-death streak either.
These are the scars that have brought me where I am
