Note: As of current this is to gauge interest in the idea, so I won’t be leaving Aeryn unless I generate the membership required to get this off of the ground. Oh, and I cannot art.
The Knights of the Shot Table
We drink when we are able, and sometimes when unable!
Do you wish to become an adventurer to support all adventurers? Do you wish to be the fundamental backbone of leisure that relieves the weary, lonely soul after a long trek in the field? Do you want to contribute to the sparkle of entertainment that reminds you of the homes we all left behind? Welcome to the Knights of the Shot Table! A guild dedicated to providing entertainment for the weary feet of adventurers across the Land! And what better venue then Buckingham Palace!
The fundamental aim of this guild is to create a great entertainment venue that is available for all adventurers of any types. This has three main hooks that would appeal to the current guild market; firstly it provides a place for an adventurer to put their feet up and spend time being entertained, be it drinking, socialisation or gambling. Secondly the Knights of the Shot is intended to be a true neutral guild, thus provide safety to anyone who wishes to relax, as even the most battle hardened needs the time to be polished, least the blade turns rusty. Thirdly and somewhat more slyly drunk patrons are often more liable to letting slip information about places they seen, rumours, thus can serve as a informal quest board of sorts, a treasure trove of information.
What are we looking for in this guild? We are looking for Brewers, Caters and Entertainers of any background to make this guild to produce a wide range of entertainment to stimulate the oral and auditory senses. Crafting Classes in general are desired, especially wood workers, blacksmiths and artisans, though as with most guilds crafters from all walks of life are welcomed! As even mechanics and Alchemists can apply to make buckingham palace into a truly spectacular venue unlike any in the Land. Knights of the Shot have more in common with a business then an tradictional guild in terms of our objectives.
If you don’t have any of those skills? Then you are still welcome to join, you can still serve behind the counter as a non-brewer, or entertain persons. Or even become the tongue for the guild by socialising with Landers and adventurers by teasing sensitive details out of them.
Adventuring, since most adventurers are assumed to do just that in their downtime, is a distant objective in this guild. While we may adventure together as and engage in events of great importance to England, but it is not as great priority as with some guilds. The lions share of our revenue is made by the punters, not quests (Well, technically it’s earned from bank interest and stocks and shares. But from a RP perspective it’s from business. So shhhhhh)
Guild Objectives
1) Recruitment of a well-balanced cast of staff.
2) Make the guild famous, well frequented watering hole that any character can come to an enjoy.
3) Build a coliseum that is open to all, set up a betting booth for it.
4) Build a Casino for gambling.
5) Renovate Buckingham Palace into a 5 star venue. To achieve this aim, we need crafters (Artisans, Woodworkers, Blacksmiths, Alchemists to produce goods in which to decorate this place with.) It is a distant priority as reputation comes first.
Features of the Guild
A permanent entertainment thread: Ever wanted to be part of the bar keep? The cook that gains a reputation? The information broker or simply a place to exhibit your skills you learnt elsewhere? This is the place.
Have a unique project. Your role within this guild is to entertain and ultimately earn revenue.
An engaging crafting project: Rather than crafting small objects on an adventurers scale, you will also be craft items to decorate this guild that will be accredited to you. While most items we throw away as we finish it, these permanent fixtures will remain as a testament to your crafting skill! While giving ample training along the way.
OUTRAGOUS FAKE ACCENTS
Members
Unlike most guilds there isn’t a guild master. Rather the members are share-holders in this enterprise. Instead, the founding members carry the authority of the guild. There are also no ranks as such within the guild, rather the individual contributions each member brings is valued.
The founding members typically wield more authority on matters as someone has to keep the peace, or controlled chaos. If you are interested in being a founding member, PM Tobin and Elkeid However, you must either know Tobin or Elk personally in order to qualify. Though really all that is attached is bragging rights, just I would really like to have a core cast that actually know one another.

Q/A
Will we adventure together?
Sure, just when we do it would be because we want to adventure together, not because ordered you to. I don’t see any point in organising adventurers to be doing something that they already do for most of their lives anyway.
What happens when we finish building Buckingham palace?
It will be some months. But if we do finish it, then likely I hope that we can remain a strong crafting guild. Artisans mechanics, woodworkers, chiefs and alchemists in particular are in very short supply, so hopefully we will use this venue as a building block to become a master in your field, so that you have had ample time to practice what you preach.
Is Tobin the only dwarf on this server
-Sniffles- As far as he’s aware, yes. He should be in a museum.
What about other guilds? Can they visit
Of course! It’s a party venue dedicated to the crafts!
Rules and Regulations
Hard rules? There are some guidelines that will be followed out.
Under no circumstances will this guild tolerate the spiking of food or drink for any reason unless requested as an adventuring provision or a craft request. Any members caught doing so would have their membership revoked immediately. This is simply because Knights of the Shot is meant to be a true natural guild that prides itself on the quality of its services provided in a safe enviroment, thus adventures and landers alike need to trust in this guild.
For the same reasons, the killing of Adventurers or Landers will absolutely not be tolerated for the same reasons above. The only venue that this would be would be acceptable in is in the arena or self defence against volatile guests.
As a true neutral guild of London, while it can take part in country wide conflicts. It is not advised for members to get directly involved in interguild conflicts should they arise. This is less serious than the previous two laws since inevitably when outside the guilds grounds adventurers will advertise their own interests.
All those rules are only applicable if someone catches you doing it.
Guest rules
While you are in Buckingham Palace as a customer, you are expected to be decently civil, so while bar scuffles can be amusing (The Dwarf himself may indeed welcome the amusement in that), any more serious attempts to deal harm or use the place to assassinate anyone will be looked upon very grimly. There are no exceptions to this rule, thus even guild masters are expected to behave.
As a general rule, weapons are not permitted to be drawn while in Buckingham Palace unless you are fighting in the arena. Any who violate this rule will be escorted out at the first possible convince by rule of thumb.
Also, the guild is not liable for any personal damages. Responsible drinking is something the client has to exercise, thus any slip of the tongue, hangovers and what not is not a creditable offense.
Arena rules: Unless stated otherwise, all fights within the arena ends when either combatant is reduced to 30% health unless agreed to be to the death before hand of if both parties show a desire to continue. In case of team battles anyone wounded to 30% or lower will cause the battle to end in the apposing parties victory. Afterall, a party is only as strong as it’s weakest link.
If both combatants chose to make it a deathmatch before entering the arena, then the match will not end unless either party is defeated, or both parties chose to yield. The staff are not obligated to end a match because one party gets cold feet. Deathmatches are serious business, thus one should only declare one if they are willing to see it all the way through.
Destruction of the arena walls, floors or ceiling itself is not permitted. Though damage from combat will occur indirectly, attempts to destroy the arena itself, for malicious or tactical benefit is not acceptable. Repeated offenses will bring an end to the match and result in immediate compensation for damaging guild property.
Also, what starts in the arena ends in the arena. Carry over grudges and post-match violence is not welcome here
