[Blacksmith | Mechanic] Hybrid Weapon

Picture above is what I'm looking for. Posting this to see if any blacksmith and tailor would like to make Mokusu a hybrid of whip and sword. I will pay for the material's fee and any additional fee requested by the crafters.

I was thinking that a simple twist of the sword's grip would change it from sword to whip and vice versa, which I think might required a mechanic for a mechanism to make the whip retract back into a sword. o-o

Don't know what else to put here... soo yeah.

I think you just need a blacksmith and mechanic for this. The whip part could be made of metal wire which would make it more durable.

I don't mind helping but my blacksmith level is already 90, I think it would be beneficial for newer blacksmiths to participate.

The following is my suggestion for other blacksmiths so that they can research this weapon:

- Complete the Metal Equipment recipe craft. It does not have to be claimed; as long as your character has experience in crafting an actual armor or weapon, you can work on this research.
- Observe the aesthetics and usage of a sword, either by personal experience or by watching a sword user.
- Optional: Observe the usage of a whip. Even if it's not a metal whip, you can just apply the same mechanics anyway. A metal whip might just require more strength from the wielder.
- If you can't find a whip-using adventurer, RP observing a lander. Or maybe through your character's experience in the real world.
- You can make a dummy sword (use cheap metal such as bronze or have Mokusu make a wooden replica) to use as a comparison for the final product (made of iron or steel) before you start crafting each segment of the sword.

To the mechanic:

- A clockwork/winding mechanism in the handle can unwind the wire which will extend the weapon and separate the segments to create the whip mode, or wind the wire which will join the segments together for the sword mode.
- Magitech that reacts to the user's mana signature can be used, or a simple lock that will wind/unwind the mechanism in the handle.

Materials: 15 x Item Level, and both weapons/utensils included (Max 2).
Post Requirement: 4 Posts
Requirement: Level 20 Mechanic
Crafted by Mechanic Hirosame. A weapon that can shift into another weapon or utensil, necessary for combat. The way that it works is that it shifts into one weapon or utensil from another weapon or utensil, and then back, depending on the situations. For example, a Great Sword shifting into a Tower Shield, then back into a Great Sword, when one wants to successfully swap from offense to defense without much difficulty, or the need to switch weapons mid-battle. These weapons can shift form by a certain designated motion that the user applies to it, in order for it to shift into said changes. Versatility in the field is enough to change a war. The animation time on a shift is 1 second; the cooldown is 5 seconds.

Let me purchase some Lander-made weapons since we also required a sword and after I got them claimed, we shall start... again?
