It was the middle of Winter; months had passed since the Apocalypse, and months had passed since the founding of the Boston Tea Party, a hopeful Raid Party of players hoping to make something with their new lives in Elder Tale and had seen a post from an altruistic man named Dumah Iino. The Boston Tea Party started out as just a group of players who had not managed to successfully get much done alone, and thus took notice of a poster around town with a simple title: A Note To Adventure. These players were young and weak in terms of the game, but to a certain Swashbuckler, that simply meant untapped potential, and new friends. Though this was what it began as, it slowly lost some of its members. Many decided to leave after getting what they came for: Levels. Many decided to retire altogether after their raid ((I'm looking at you Kogeki)) or were simply not fond of the idea of a group so large. Despite the majority of the Boston Tea Party's members leaving, there were many friendships forged in the claustrophobic halls of that Raid Zone, and some of the members found themselves reunited with other members on occasion. Many players heard rumors and tales of the Boston Tea Party, but mostly due to its name and the fact that they parodied the famous, Japanese Debauchery Tea Party. Even some People of The Land heard rumors and gossip of the Boston Tea Party, however, being natives of this world and this server, they knew nothing of the Japanese Debauchery Tea Party. On the frigid winter streets of Londinium, paved softly with snow and frost, were two important members of the Boston Tea Party: Dumah Iino, its founder and leader, and Alette Caelius, his adoptive daughter. The small party of two were kept warm not by layers of clothing but by their own magic. In Dumah's right hand was a flaming ball of burning flames. At the tip of Alette's simple stick of a staff was another ball, a trick she had had to practice diligently to get to work: The Sorcerer's spell Orb of Lava was simply floating, orbiting around the tip of Alette's staff, unlike most castings of Orb of Lava which would shoot out at an enemy when cast. The small family of father and daughter were sitting at the square of Londinium, on a bench. Alette had been rubbing her hands near her Orb of Lava, and Dumah had, with one hand, been turning the pages of a newspaper ran by a high leveled Scribe. In remembrance of how most MMORPG websites and forums were organized, the newspaper was appropriately titled "The Elder Tale Home Page." It brought a bit of nostalgia to Dumah, but confusion to his daughter. Alette spoke up as her father scanned the newspaper, "Daddy, what are we going to do next? Explore some more places? Help more people?" Dumah wasn't sure if she had meant that with a capital P or not, but it didn't matter. Dumah had become what one could call a Landist, believing People of The Land should be treated like real human beings, just like Adventurers are. Without taking his eyes off the newspaper, he spoke in reply. "I am thinking perhaps we should join a Guild... There is little we can do on our own." Dumah wondered what kind of guild they should join. Dumah presumed he would not find any role-playing guilds, seeing as this IS their reality now. He pondered a bit more on it before Alette questioned him again. "You have been reading the... Um... Elder Tell-" She was corrected politely by her father. "Elder Tale Home Page for a while now. Did you found a good guild?" Dumah corrected his daughter once again, however, her grammatical error gave her an idea. "Why don't you make a guild?" Dumah held his chin, pondering his daughter's suggestion. "Well... I do not know too many people, and I am not sure how well it would go." Alette smiled as she spoke one more. "You would do great! You made the Boston Tea Party after all!" He shook his head. "But the Tea Party was an improptu group... However... I could invite its previous members...!" Dumah thought for some time before smiling. "It might work; just maybe." Dumah tapped the air and opened his menu, calling all of the members of the Boston Tea Party in his friends list. After each answered, he spoke the same message: "Hey, do you remember me? Dumah Iino, of the Boston Tea Party. Great! Glad you remember me. Anyways, are you busy at the moment? Could you please come meet me at the square of Londinium in about two hours? Great! I look forward to seeing you again!" He smiled after making all of his summons, but his smile soon faded. "By the Twelve, can I lead a guild...? I mean- I have plenty of experience as a Guild Master, but... Can I do it in this world?" He began to doubt himself a little before Alette smiled and grabbed his hand, reassuring him without the need to utter a single word. Her smile spread to Dumah, as it often had a habit of doing. - 877 Words - - Total: 877 - Tags: Mokusu Alette Myrddin cymakara Grandeur Neon sotarou @noa

Swashbuckler - Gardener - Chef ____________________________________________________Such Profound Thoughts "Order up!"Those words rang out at least a hundred times per day now. A week after the Boston Tea Party ended their crusade, Sotarou had found his calling in becoming a chef for hire. It wasn't glamorous work, but it was something that helped him and others. Being the party's designated cook had definitely helped him learn much about cooking and the like, and he used every bit of that experience to help him along. This order coming up was a grilled Chicken Club Sandwich. He smiled as he handed the order along to the waiter, getting right to the next order in his list. He had been working this particular place for a couple weeks now, making use his knowledge of culinary delights to bring smiles to people's faces. He didn't get to see them, but every bit of food that went out was met with sounds of enjoyment. And that was good enough for him.As he handed the food to the waiter, there was a ping in his ear. A telepathy message. From... Dumah? That was certainly unexpected... but he answered nonetheless, cooking while he talked. "Hey, do you remember me? Dumah Iino, of the Boston Tea Party." "Of course I remember you. Kinda hard to forget ya, mate." "Great! Glad you remember me. Anyways, are you busy at the moment? Could you please come meet me at the square of Londinium in about two hours?" "Well bloody hell! It's about time. My shift's up in 1." "Great! I look forward to seeing you again!" "Seeya there!" Listening to the message that Dumah relayed, he smiled. He hung up, and nearly ruined the food he was cooking as he hung up the call, excited about the prospect of seeing the old Tea Party again. An hour later, Sotarou called to the owner of the restaurant. "Seeya tomorrow, Hill." Hill just waved as Sotarou made his way to central square. It would take him an hour or so to get there, as he took his time to walk there. He wasn't in any hurry at all. And looking around, he'd noticed that in the past few months that he'd returned stronger, more sure of himself, the town had grown stronger in kind. Alot of advancements were being made, and the place was starting to look close to the real world. Then again... this was the real world now, so he had to square with that. But it was more than just living with this world... he had to imagine this is what the people of older times felt when they saw creations popping up that seemed out of reach... but they knew that they'd benefit mankind for many years to come. So whether mankind was around for another 100 years here or not... those creations would stay. The People of the Land may be here still, and they'll still benefit from the experience just as the Adventurers were today. The thought of... Landers being just NPCs now... after having met plenty of them on his own travels with the Boston Tea Party... the notion seemed rather stupid. They had stories, families, feelings... they were just as much human as himself and any other Adventurer. But even with all these advancements and all the people in this world... he still wouldn't feel... home...As he reached Central Square, he looked around for anyone else from the Tea Party that he'd recognize. As opposed to when he was in the Tea Party, his left arm was extremely active. Seems he'd gotten used to the fact of having his left arm... and the smile on his face was genuine this time! A Guild... if that could be done... he'd feel home. template by caesar

Winter had come to Londinium. The white powder of the season enveloped the streets, benches, and buildings. The skeletal trees looked like gnarly appendages reaching forth from the underworld. The frigid wind coursed down the streets, lifting loose pieces of litter and whirling it into a flurry of powder. Myrddin sat outside the cathedral awaiting the last of his party to return, his dark skin a noticeable contrast to the pale color of the snow. Normally the street lights would be a source of ambient light, but due to the snow it painted the area enough to allow easy visibility. The enchanter sighed as three more people joined him on the steps of the cathedral. Each of their classes apparent by their gear. A large man wielding a heavy zweihander with heavy plate armor, a lithe-like androgynous swashbuckler with two rapiers and light leather armor, and finally a tall elven woman with a bow slung over her back and an empty quiver. Each of them wore a somber expression as they either sat on the steps or leaned against the hand rails.
"Where's Jonah?" The Guardian asked, his voice a bit high pitch than you would think for his size. He looked around, in case he just didn't see the other member.
Myrddin shrugged, "Not back yet I guess." He huffed, using his staff to climb to his feet. His heavily gloved hands gripped tightly around the shaft of his staff as he turned to face his party members.
"We got royally wrecked!" The swashbuckler exclaimed, their hands tucked deep into their pockets. "I saw how we three died, but not you. What happened?"
It was very faint but Myrddin felt as if he was being accused. He stood facing them and shook his head, "I made a rookie mistake and ended up not paying attention to my flank." He gave a one shoulder shrug. "Something hit me and caused a paralysis effect. It finished me by stomping on my,"
Just then the door to the cathedral flew open and out stormed a human male in all black; his long coal colored hair was pulled back from his face. "Myrddin!" He bellowed, anger apparent his voice and body language. His fists were wrapped in rough looking metal with two spikes on the knuckle plates.
"head..." He sighed and looked up at the incoming Jonah.
"There you are Jonah. You alright?" The elven woman asked, his body unconsciously posed to intercept Jonah should he try anything.
"Yeah, I'm peachy!" He growled, his eyes never leaving Myrddin. "I just love having a teammate that can't pull his weight!" spittle flung from his mouth with each emphasis in his sentence. He stopped less than a meter from Myrddin, his eyes drilling into the enchanter's.
"Sorry, Jonah. I can't help that I'm squishy. I made a mistake and didn't check my-"
"Stuff it! I don't care what your excuse is. I just want you out of the group!" He hissed, slashing his arm in a horizontal gesture as he spoke. "I should have listened to Fredrick and kept you from the group!"
"Hey, Jonah, relax man. Myrddin made a mistake. It happens sometimes." The swashbuckler said in defense.
"Yeah, I mean we've all made them. Calm down, you're causing a scene." The archer joined in.
The guardian folded his arms over his massive chest. "Yeah, but I have to admit, since Myrddin joined us we've lost two members and haven't been able to pass a low level raid yet." He gave Myrddin an apologetic look.
The enchanter wave it off though he said nothing in response. He looked from each member to the next and nodded. When the swashbuckler opened their mouth to speak he raised his hand to stop them. "He's right." He said after a moment, his voice had a very faint tremble to it. "You're right, Jonah. I've not been much help to the group. But blaming me for the fall of the entire team is child-ish." He knew he shouldn't have said that, Jonah was notorious for his hot headed temper when being compared to a child. He opened his mouth to speak but Jonah was too quick and had him by the lapel.
"I'm not a child!" He roared, his spittle hitting against Myrddin's skin, though due to the proximity of Jonah's hot breath he barely felt the chill of the wind against the liquid. A second later the guardian and the archer broke Jonah's grip on Myrddin's clothes and moved him back. "It's your fault they died! It's your fault we lost those Landers!"
That struck a chord in Myrddin, his face drained of all color and he stood staring at Jonah but not seeing him. The other three were saying something but Myrddin didn't hear them. He didn't say anything, he just turned and walked away. His fingers scrolled through his screens till he found the party option and left the group. He was about to close the menu when a message rang in his ears. He checked it, grunted and closed it without sending a reply. He wasn't in the mood to message anyone, but he was hungry and knew of a good place near where Dumah was said to be. He may not be in the best moods now, but he was stronger now due to Dumah's help and he owed him. He decided to head to his location.

Dumah and Alette had both been sitting on a bench, still, using their magic to keep themselves warm as they waited for those familiar Adventurers they had not seen in some time. After a while, he noticed Myrddin and Sotarou approaching, which had easily brought a bright smile to the faces of both the man and little girl. Dumah stood up and smiled excitedly, waving at both who had approached. "Mr. Myrddin! Mr. Sotarou! How have the both of you been?" He walked towards them joyfully. "It has been so long!" He extended his hand that had not been holding his ball of flame, using it to shake the hands of both men. "I have missed you both! I am glad you could come, though! How have you two been over these months since the Boston Tea Party's raid? Alette and I have been good, we have spent the majority of our time exploring this world. It is beautiful, and truly amazing!" He continued to go off on a tangent as he spoke about small topics and made other such small talk.
Alette herself had smiled and joined Dumah and the others, bowing, almost setting Sotarou alight with her Orb of Lava. She immediately gasped as she rushed to pull her staff back, apologizing after.
Dumah chuckled a bit before he stopped his wild tangent, clearing his throat a bit. "I appreciate the two of you coming on such short notice. I have issued and requested a summoning of the other Boston Tea Party members. I shall await a few more before I announce my explanation as to why I have summoned you all here.

Swashbuckler - Gardener - Chef ____________________________________________________A Gathering of the Ages Sotarou was easily able to avoid the Orb of Lava, having gotten used to Alette doing that from time to time. Plus, his reaction skill was much better than when he'd started out. He just smiled to Dumah and Alette. "Mr. Myrddin! Mr. Sotarou! How have the both of you been? It has been so long! I have missed you both! I am glad you could come, though! How have you two been over these months since the Boston Tea Party's raid? You called just as I was about to end my shift at the restaurant towards the edge of the city, so no real big. I gotta say, seeing the two of you here... brings back memories. And I've used everything I learned in the Tea Party to make a name for myself. It's been a tough time, but it made it easier when I could say proudly that I was a part of the Boston Tea Party. Both here and in the world we came from. Did I mention that I had a relative who'd been a part of that whole bit back in the days?" Of course, he'd retold the story several times to the entire party while they were together... but he shook his head. "Ehh, not the time or place." He looked around a bit, curiously. He was a little bit past the 2-hour mark of when they were supposed to meet up here... he hmm'd a bit. "I know there's still a few from the Tea Party around... seen them come into the restaurant from time to time... wonder where they are now." He shrugs. "Oh well. I'm sure they'll show up eventually. I'm kind of excited to know why you called all of us in the first place... I almost don't want to wait, because I have a pretty solid idea of why already." He just gave a knowing smile as he said that. "And all I can say... is it took you long enough." As he spoke, he was gesturing with his hands. Both of them. Making full use of his entire left arm now, as opposed to when he had started back with the Tea Party a long time ago. Seems he'd gotten used to it being there now. INVENTORY

The walk to meet Dumah gave Myrddin enough time to compose himself, if just on the surface. He didn't want to have anyone ask him if he was okay. He didn't like being prodded about his feelings. Call it his machismo attitude, an unwilling want to be vulnerable (especially now that he can do things for himself) or what have you. His time spent with Jonah and his party was a difficult one. It only lasted a month and three weeks but the things they went through were some of the most emotionally wounding he'd experienced in his life. The stab Jonah made at him about the Landers left him feeling bitter and morose. He only hoped it wouldn't show when he reunited with Dumah and the other members of the Boston Tea Party.
As the enchanter rounded the corner of a building he quickly noticed two familiar individuals, Dumah and his adoptive daughter Allete. Their profiles bathed in the warm glow of their orbs of fire. Upon noticing Allete's orb of lava hovering around her staff Myrddin halted and stared, slack-jawed. As he stood statuesque in amazement the two of them hurriedly came to their feet; Dumah signaling them with waving both his arms over his head. "Mr. Myrddin! Mr. Sotarou! How have both of you been?" He asked. Myrddin shook his head from his bewilderment and realized the former BTP leader had mentioned another name. His eyes scanned the area till he noticed a familiar gait. If Dumah hadn't said his name already he would have probably struggled for a moment to remember. Lucky.
Dumah advanced to meet them, his body language exuding his barely contained excitement. "It has been so long!" He extended his not fireball holding hand, "I have missed you both! I am glad you could come, though! How have you two been over these months since the Boston Tea Party's raid?" He asked and followed with a brief explanation of their time spent away from the group. Allete, aka the wee-one, quickly came to stop at Dumah's side, flashed a smile and gave a bow. However, her bow brought her orb of lava exceedingly close to the second swashbuckler. Sotarou, obviously higher level now, deftly avoided the disco orb of heat. Dumah chuckled and cleared his throat, a gesture Myrddin paired with getting down to business. "I appreciate the two of you coming on such short notice. I have issued and requested a summoning of the other Boston Tea Party members. I shall await a few more before I announce my explanation as to why I have summoned you all here."
Sotarou spoke up before he did, "Nah. No trouble. Did I mention that I had a relative who'd been a part of that whole bit back in the days?" He paused for a moment as if he might continue, "Ehh, not the time or place." He said finally, as he looked around, a low hmm sounded from his throat. "I know there's still a few from the Tea Party around... seen them come into the restaurant from time to time... wonder where they are now." He shrugged, but something about it seemed to draw Myrddin's attention.
"Oh well. I'm sure they'll show up eventually. I'm kind of excited to know why you called all of us in the first place... I almost don't want to wait, because I have a pretty solid idea of why already." He flashed a smile that made Myrddin think that he had picked up on something that he was missing. "And all I can say... is it took you long enough." There is was! Myrddin noticed why the shrug seemed so interesting before. Sotarou didn't use his left arm much or at all when they had first met. Back then Myrddin noticed and realized he must had had a similar problem that he did in the previous world. But now he was moving it with almost no effort. The enchanter was again slack-jawed, his eyes hung at the swashbuckler's arm.
"Sou, your arm." He said rather eloquently, "Dude, that's awesome!" He exclaimed, excitedly flailing his right hand as he spoke. His previously morose behavior faded from his mind as he marveled at his former teammate's advancement. Myrddin suddenly became quite aware of the eyes that had turned in response to his outburst. Luckily for him his face was already a little pink from the cold otherwise people might have noticed his blushing. "A-anyway..." he stammered, his mind snapping back to the conversation. "How many times do I have to tell you to cut out the whole mister crap? I'm just Myrddin. Hell, after everything you guys helped me with I wouldn't feel right being called that." He said, his body language unconsciously was giving off more about his previous mood than he realized. "And I've been pretty well. I can't complain." He lied, making sure to use contractions and breath calmly to keep his heart rate down. He didn't want them to know how his passed few months had truly been.
"Actually, I saw Regina and Titiana a while back. We partied up for a little bit. I'm not sure where they are now though." He looked to Sotarou and then back to Dumah. "What is this about exactly, Dumah?"

Dumah gave a nostalgic smile as Sotarou began to retell the old tale of his relative who had been directly involved in the real Boston Tea Party. This was a story that he had told incredibly often, to the point of annoying some other members of the Boston Tea Party. "I'm kind of excited to know why you called all if us in the first place... I almost don't want tk wait, because I have a pretty solid idea of why already, and all I can say is... It took you long enough." Hearing Sotarou say this brought a great joy to Dumah, knowing Sotarou supported him.
He smiled and began to speak. "Well, it has been two hours, so I will tell you both. I actually have two announcements to make." Dumah sat back down on the bench from before before speaking, straightening his left index before. "First, as I presume you suspected Sotarou, I have decided I wish to establish an official guild. The Boston Tea Party is great, but an official guild can offer many more benefits." Hehesitated a moment, looking to Alette, who nodded at him with a soft, confident smile. Dumah extended the middle finger on his left hand, notifying that he was about to make his second notification. "This second announcement is something that we have kept secret for all these months now, and I am the only person to know this secret." Dumah's daughter sat beside him and he placed an arm around her, his gesture targeting her. "Do you two remember in the Boston Tea Party's Raid when the enemies began to overpower us? We lost many members at that point, and it was only one person short of being a Total Party Kill. Alette was the only one of us to survive escaping to the previous room, in case you do not remember clearly. Half of the Boston Tea Party was furious at me for breaking formation and leading to their deaths, and my own..." He braced himself for the fact he was about to reveal, deeply breathing and holding his hands together tightly before looking back to Sotarou and Myrddin. "Do you remember the reason I gave for why I left you all to help her? I said it was nepotism, and while there is some truth behind that, it is far from being the true reason..." He took a final deep inhale as he prepared to reveal a secret he had kept for many months now. "Alette Caelius... is a Person of The Land..."

Unfortunately, when she received the message from Dumah, Isolde was a fair distance away, so she knew she'd be late. She'd informed him to go without her if that happened, but that she'd hopefully arrive some time in the middle. She hadn't been involved in his Boston Tea Party, so she was unsure why she was being invited along. It was probably more of a social thing and not too important if he'd only given two hours notice, but then, that was one thing she noticed during her time outside of Japan. People seemed to rush a lot more, and not plan events in advance. It annoyed her a little, admittedly, and she wasn't entirely used to it, but at least she understood it was a cultural thing now.
She arrived just as he was making an announcement of some sort, so she decided not to interrupt him. Evidently he wanted to found a guild. That sounded a lot like him. Although, the way he went straight over that made it sound like it wasn't the real reason for the call. Again, it was about something his Tea Party group had been involved in and she knew little about, but at the end there was a rather shocking reveal. That Alette was a Person of the Land. She'd had suspicions, since she'd tried to add her as a friend almost straight away, but Dumah kept insisting that it was a glitch in the system. There was also his protectiveness of her whenever they were in battle. Of course there was also the belief that People of the Land couldn't be Adventurers, since they were basically normal, everyday people.
Still... she felt a little betrayed that neither of them had told her... that they'd actively lied to her. Why? "Why didn't you tell us this before?" Isolde asked, her first words to them, a little harder than she normally sounded. "Why was this so important to keep from everyone? Why would you keep it from me? Have I done something to make it look like I'd treat a Person of the Land worse than an Adventurer?" There was anger in her voice. She liked Alette - she was a sweet little girl and she enjoyed getting to be the big sister for once. That wouldn't change no matter who or what she was. Why hadn't they trusted her? They'd had a long time to say something, especially given that she'd been suspicious, so... why? It stung. She hadn't expected them to keep something like that from her.

Silence. That was the enchanter's response. He looked Dumah in the eyes, his murky water gaze was hard. It softened as he looked to Allete. The wee-one was a Lander, that was something he was curious about from during their time together. The way she didn't understand any of his references, her worry at the thought of dying when they all knew Adventurers revived at the Cathedral. That should have been a dead give away as it was. A multitude of emotions swirled inside him; the maelstrom of anger, sorrow, and guilt hit him like a body blow making his legs quiver. His right hand clapped against his staff, his knuckles were a pale white as he fought to stay standing. His teeth partially showing through his lips.
"You son of a bitch." He hissed, as he fell back onto his rear and sucked in a quick breath as he landed on his tale bone. He was quite of an extra moment as he maneuvered to something close by he could sit on. Once he had his seat he glared daggers at the swashbuckler. "Do you have any idea how stupid it was keeping that secret?!" He said in a low tone, his legs trembled as he spoke. "In the beginning, yeah it made a bit of sense since we didn't know much about the Landers. But after we got to know her and fought beside her...why not then?" His voice cracked, "God damn it man, I almost..." He stopped himself, the earlier altercation with Jonah had him out of sync with his emotional control. He didn't trust himself to talk without his barrier giving way.
Myrddin ran his palms across his face and his fingers through his hair. He exhaled into the skin of his hands and feeling his hot breath upon his chilled skin. He looked up to Dumah, pain and anger evident in his eyes, though it was much more than Dumah that could have been caused with a little withholding of information. Myrddin's muddy-water eyes held the swashbuckler's for a long moment before he realized how much he was letting Dumah see of his pain. Focusing on thoughts of Jonah his gaze solidified into stone once more. "What were you thinking, Dumah?" He asked, surprisingly calm.

Swashbuckler - Gardener - Chef ____________________________________________________Betrayl... And Understanding Sotarou just watched on as the others reacted more to the news about Alette being of the People of the Land... he'd sort of figured that out almost off the bat. One, no parent in their right mind would let a young girl like her play such a violent game... and two, there was just... something he felt about it. Which he had acted on from day 1. While not very tanky himself, he did what he could to keep Alette from severe harm... though the time Dumah was talking about, even he wouldn't have been able to save Alette from such a terrible fate... in fact, Dumah's actions, while seemingly betrayal in the others' eyes, spoke highly to his character in Sotarou's. Sotarou stepped forward, more confident than he'd ever been before joining the Tea Party. "I had a feeling the moment I met her... I couldn't prove it, but I had a gut feeling about it." He looked at Myrddin and Isolde as she arrived. "So what if she's a Lander? She's become strong alongside us. We've grown strong beside her. I mean, there's not many Landers who could toss an Orb of Lava into a group of Skeletons and clear the field in a matter of seconds. So I say... she may not be able to revive like we can... but she's just as much an Adventurer as the rest of us. And anyone who says different is either jealous or idiotic." And there was that nervous twitch again... while he'd gotten used to his arm, he still liked to grip it to reassure himself. But his voice was calm and collected. No wavering, no hint of hesitation, just courage and self-esteem. He didn't have much of that last one when he first joined the Tea Party... it was definitely something he felt proud of. He looked at Alette with a smile. "Knowing you're a Person of the Land doesn't change a thing. I will still be the Dashing Rogue come in to save the day." He winked jokingly to her, giving a small chuckle. His attention went to Dumah after that. "So. You're going to make a Guild. I suppose that means you'll need to get ahold of a place for the Guild itself... I don't have much in the way of funds, but I'll gladly lend some coin wherever I can. If we need to, we could try to run a few dungeons to loop some gold around. Or I could start cooking furiously and open a restaurant closer to the center of town. I'm starting to think I'm wearing out my welcome at my current job anyway." He shrugged as he said that. "But... none of that matters in the slightest if we don't actually have a Guild set up... and to do that, we're gonna need a name." He nodded as a matter-of-fact kind of finale to his words. The axe swung down and hit it’s wooden mark causing the wood to split into two, wiping his forehead the Fox Tail nodded to himself. “Think that’ll be enough to get us through a few nights,” he said to the two Sylph currently circling Mokusu, one; concentrate her control of the air elements to surround the Fox Tail with warm air and the other tried to keep the cold air at bay. The summoner don’t really felt comfortable wearing thick cloth as he work, which is why he summon the Sylph to aid him as he chopped some firewood in his usual clothing.
Picking up the chopped up wood, he started to walked back to the abandoned stables he had called home and when he reached inside, he closed the doors and place the fire woods just beside his crafting table which is located just in the center of the room. Picking up a few of the woods, he walked to one of the stalls which inside, he had made a small stone circle for the fire. Opening the window just above it, he started to work on starting a flame, as he rubbed the woods together, he command one of the sylph to aid it as smoke started to show, grabbing a few straws from the grown, he give the smoke something to heat up and heat it did and also at that time when a small flame sprouted out, a light ring enter his ears and his vision was blocked by the system mail alert. Feeding the flame with a few more straws, he opened the mail. “A meet… request?” He concluded the mail he just read from the leader of the raid party he once was in, the Boston Tea Party Founder; Dumah, taking note of the location, he closed the screen before extinguished the small flame with his leather shoe and after he made sure everything is closed and secured, the Fox Tail equipped in his warmest cloths with a scarf and a hat and set out to Londinium on foot.
Mana bar depleting as his Sylph is still with him, keeping him warm, the Fox Tail let out a sigh as he passed Londinium gate and enter the safe zone, causing his mana bar to regenerate without worrying about his summoned creature. Ordering the two Sylph to rest on both side of his shoulder, the Fox Tail continued walking to the center of town and when he reached there, a heated discussion was currently on progress between Dumah, Sotarou and the once support leader Myrddin… and another figured he can’t seem to place his finger on.
Even though Mokusu didn’t know what just happen, the air surrounding them was a mixed of boiling hot, warm and cold so he did what he often do when his friends was about to fight when he was in the previous world and he just arrived. Eyes open wide, right hand raised up and a loud “Yo! It’s been awhile!” and with a wide full teeth smile causing him to make a ‘heh!’ sound to finish the actions.
In the previous world, one of his friends would lightly flick his forehead and say something like, “I just saw you back at class.” And it was often follow with laughter, but it doesn't often work… and it won’t work right now since they really haven’t seen each other in a long time… so yeah… it often won’t work. ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- 578 | Word Count @dumah sotarou Myrddin Isolde | Tags Sorry for the late post Dumah, still busy but I'll try my best to reply o7 | Notes

Dumah looked down a bit and linked his fingers tightly as his friends assaulted him with their reactions. It was hard taking this, the words they said... "Why didn't you tell us this before?" "You son of a bitch!" Dumah knew without a second of hesitation or doubt that these words from his closest of friends stung his far worse than any steel sword or fireball. It even had hurt more than the awful nightmare that the Adventurers have after death. A physical wound, or even the nightmarish, temporary afterlife of Elder Tale, was nothing, because it was not his fault. This secret, and the reactions of his friends, however, was his fault. He had kept this from them, and they were shocked and appalled by the fact that he had kept such an important detail from them. Dumah could not bear to look directly at his friends, and he tried to avoid eye contact. "I am so sorry... I truly am, everyone..."
The young Fox Tail spoke up, her words sounding a bit harsher than they usually did. "Why was this so important to keep from everyone? Why would you keep it from me? Have I done something to make it look like I'd treat a Person of the Land worse than an Adventurer?" There was a palpable anger that hung in her words, cutting Dumah deep. The Swashbuckler remained silent, his throat tight.
Myrddin reacted in such a way that he could barely stand, and he fell to his tail bone. He got up and staggered over to a seat, his eyes shooting daggers at Dumah. Dumah could not see it, and he continued to do his best to avoid eye contact, afraid of their reactions. Despite this, Dumah could feel the anger cast upon him by his Enchanter friend. "Do you have any idea how stupid it was keeping that secret?!" Myrddin spoke in a low tone, his legs trembling as the words came from his mouth, assaulting Dumah with the full force of guilt. "In the beginning, yeah it made a bit of sense since we didn't know much about the Landers. But after we got to know her and fought beside her... why not then?" His voice cracked, "God damn it man, I almost..." He stopped himself, the earlier altercation with Jonah had him out of sync with his emotional control. He didn't trust himself to talk without his barrier giving way. Again, Dumah's only response was painful silence...
And anyone who says different is either jealous or idiotic." This third input was the sort of response that Dumah had hoped to get out of the other two people he'd told. Sotarou was understanding of this secret, and for that, Dumah was a bit relieved. He still could not forgive himself for keeping such a big secret from his own party- no, from his friends. Sotarou spoke up once more. "So. You're going to make a Guild. I suppose that means you'll need to get a hold of a place for the Guild itself... "But... none of that matters in the slightest if we don't actually have a Guild set up... and to do that, we're gonna need a name." That was right; there was still business to attend to. Dumah did not summon all of them here simply to announce Alette's true identity, after all.
Dumah took a deep breath in through his nose, exhaling just as heavily and looking to his friends. He rubbed his left eye with his left hand immediately, as if those words of shock from his friends hit him deeper than they had anticipated. He insisted he was simply tired, but anyone could see he had been under much guilt from their reactions. "Yes, I intend to start a guild... As for the funds, I already have quite a bit of gold stashed away: over thirty five thousand Gold in the bank. It is also gaining interest, but we can always run some dungeons or possibly another Raid if we truly wish. As for the name..." Dumah looked to all of his companions - his friends - with a serious expression on his face as he announced his chosen name for his guild. "Noihara." Dumah had a feeling someone would inquire as to what it means, so he took the liberty of explaining it himself before anyone managed to ask. "Before the Apocalypse, I had a very close friend. This friend was a great inspiration to me, and he was always smiling. Noihara was a sort of catchphrase of his, he claimed it meant 'Greatness, prosperity, and virtue, all through cooperation.' This friend of mine died a while before any of this happened, and I do my best to keep his creed of Noihara alive. For a while now, Noihara has been the name I use for guilds in any MMORPG. Well, it is not as if I can really use it for any other now, I suppose." Dumah put his hand out, prompting his friends to join in. Alette smiled excitedly as she put her hand forward, on top of her father's. "Noihara."

Waves of anger beat against the shore of Myrddin's heart. But not for the reason Dumah and the other expected. Myrddin lowered his harmful gaze from Dumah and let them fall onto Alette. For a moment he had forgotten he was glaring and quick soften his gaze. She was small, fragile looking but he knew from experience how strong she was. During the raid she had survived where he had died. His plan had fallen through and everyone died, expect her. At the moment of the raid he didn't think it was too bad, but upon realizing her true origin the guilt from his failure crashed against him. He quickly looked away from the young girl whom, at time, reminded him of his little sister. No. He thought. You're not to blame. He lied to himself hoping to ease the guilt, but he knew his own lies better than he did his truths. It was all he did after the accident in the real world. Lied to anyone and everyone so that they didn't have to see him in his crippled state. It wasn't until Sarah showed up that he felt as if he could let someone in. The memory of his friend brought him out of his anger and into a melancholy state. He heard Dumah reply to Sotarou, and talk about building a guild and the origin of his desired name. Myrddin could hear the traces of pain underlaid in his words. He knew what it was like to lose friends, he lost a few in the military. " Everyone has lost friends." He mumbled unconsciously. It wasn't for another minute that he realized he had spoken aloud. " Sorry." He whispered, his head low. He let Dumah continue with his speech. Once finished he looked up at Dumah, no pain, no anger, no malice, rage, hatred, betrayal. He looked upon Dumah with eye of still water. " I'll help you fund this guild." He said, a slight air bubble in his throat caused his voice to sound awkwardly high. Placing his fist to his mouth he cough twice to clear it throat. "Excuse me. So as I said, I'll help fund your guild." He repeated, adding a bit of emphasis on the 'your' of the sentence. " But I wont be joining." Myrddin added, sounding almost guilty. " It... it isn't yet..." he floundered his words, trace flecks of fear in his stomach made him feel sick. " I'm not yet ready." He said finally. His eyes slightly glossy, as if they were holding back tears. With a quick series of wipes with his thumb he cleared away the rebellious tears. Gripping his staff tightly once again, the enchanter climbed to his feet. " I know this might not be the best thing to follow up with after that but, is anyone else hungry?" He asked, his eyes scanning the group and subsequently the people that tried to listen in on the conversation. " Seems our outbursts bought us some onlookers." He said low enough for the group to hear. _______________________________ Word count: 506 Tags: @dumah, sotarou, Mokusu, Isolde. Note: Sorry for the wait. Was having problems with how to handle it. Swashbuckler - Gardener - Chef ____________________________________________________And The Hate Starts Sotarou could only look at Myrddin curiously as he had that small little outburst... withdrawn and not really powerful... but an outburst all the same. While he didn't know how he felt exactly, frustration was a decent enough reaction to the situation. "Myrr... set aside your being upset about the situation for now... just for now. I don't want you to forget about it entirely. But... set it aside, and think about your words. You won't be joining? Is that really how you feel? I mean... as I said before, learning about Alette doesn't change anything. She could have died then, yes. It's upsetting when you think about it... but she's not dead, and she's grown powerful alongside us. And she stayed safe because all of us were working together. If that doesn't have some comfort in it, then I truly can't help you and it's your own decision." He sighs a bit, looking at the group of the other Adventurers from the Boston Tea Party. "But everyone else is here for this. We're staying... and I for one will definitely," He placed his hand on top of Alette's and Dumah's. "join Noihara."He thought about what Myrrdin said afterwards. "Actually, I could go for something to eat. Anything I made in the restaurant, I couldn't eat it... unless I paid for it, of course. And I was so excited that I forgot to. But if I'm gonna be cooking, we should really get some cooking ingredients. Let's go hunt some wild boars for old times sake." He smiled as he said such. A diffusing smile, one to cut any leftover tension into tiny chunks. INVENTORY

Alette's expression was still a bit sorrowed as her father revealed this revelation of her true origins as a Person of The Land. Sotarou began to speak in her defense. "So what if she's a Lander? She's become strong alongside us. We've grown strong beside her. I mean, there's not many Landers who could toss an Orb of Lava into a group of Skeletons and clear the field in a matter of seconds. Knowing you're a Person of the Land doesn't change a thing. I will still be the Dashing Rogue come in to save the day."
Alette spoke softly in response. "I didn't keep this from you all because I expected you to treat me any less... I didn't want you all to feel as if you needed to treat me special. I didn't wish to inconvenience you all with constant worrying for me." She was a bit sad, but this lasted but a moment as her father consoled the young girl.
"Noihara." Alette's father took the liberty of explaining the origin and meaning of this proposed name himself before anyone managed to ask. "Before the Apocalypse, I had a very close friend. This friend was a great inspiration to me, and he was always smiling. Noihara was a sort of catchphrase of his, he claimed it meant 'Greatness, prosperity, and virtue, all through cooperation.' Alette smiled excitedly as she put her hand forward, on top of her father's. "Noihara." The young Sorceress girl's small hand was quickly covered by Sotarou's as he declared he would gladly join.
