She couldn't help but shiver as the cold brisk wind pushed and pulled at her skin, every part of the cleric regretted not acquiring some better clothes before taking the trip the the snow covered realm. Around the magic user large white dancing sparkles drifted through the air, gliding towards the sea of white beneath her. Shaking her head, the cleric continued on, sword in hand. Above her the sky was cloudy and blocked out any light from the sun.
A soft breeze swept through the cleric, sweeping at her hair and clothes as she moved. Despite the cold, it was truly beautiful area and she couldn't help but feel somewhat regretful that she hadn't explored this area when Elder Tales was still a game. The small petite burgundy haired human moved quickly, her feet disrupting the snow as she moved, resulting in that crunching noise that so often accompanied feet travelling in snow. She had come to the snow realm in order to train and level because the savill flower had become such an easy place for player killers to hang about and at least the snow added cover in case she needed to get away.
Scattered throughout the rather white plain before her, Snowdonia Penguins fluttered here and there aimlessly, they were low level and easy kills although she would have liked to take on the creepy looking snowmen that stood in the distance, she knew that her level no where near strong enough, perhaps if she had a small party, they could train and level fairly fast, but that was neither here nor there.
Normally docile, she smirked as they wouldn't remain that way for very long. Bracing herself, she held her hand waiting for one of the awkward creatures to wander into range. Inhaling sharply, she let the cold air fill her lungs as her hand waited held high above head. Exhaling, she watched as a soft puff of air drifted into the distance as one of the creatures came into range. Pursing her lips, she made sure to cast Miracle mine between her and creature before her hand lit up in sparks of light. "Martyr Spear." She smirked as an impressive long spear consisting of pure light energy appeared just above her hand, then with a flick of her wrist, it shot forward unmatched in it's speed, striking the beast, she couldn't help but nod as the penguin screamed as the spear came into contact with it's skin.
It struggled briefly before it's eyes flashed red, firing a gaze in her direction, it charged towards her just as she expected, when it trudged over the glowing ring that adorned the ground, it screamed once more exploding into a cloud of anima. , every part of the cleric regretted not acquiring some better clothes before taking the trip the the snow covered realm. » "Oh my god it's so cold oh my god it's so cold oh my god it's so cold oh my god..." Piper fully regretted coming up to Snowdonia. She had made the trek here at the behest of her teacher, Saskia; to Saskia's credit, the woman HAD warned Piper that it would be chilly and to wear something more than her usual attire. But Piper did not listen. Because Piper was a fool.
"Y-y-you'd fink dat, dis being a game, dat f-f-fanservicey equipment would get a bit of a p-pass in cold climates..." Piper muttered to herself between shivers. There had to be something Piper could do about this cold... Piper remembered watching a TV show back in the real world where these monks could meditate and make it so they could be comfortable in even extreme cold. "I'm a Monk," thought Piper. "Would be worth a shot, at least."
Piper stopped walking and sat down in the meditative stance of a Buddhist monk-or at least, an Englishwoman's approximation of it. She breathed deeply, calming herself as she thought: "There is no cold... The cold of these mountains does not affect me... I am the embodiment of warmth, and it fills my body until I may find peace..." Piper noticed a warm feeling in her chest that began to spread to the rest of her body. Was she feeling... comfortably warm? Piper had gone into this meditation thinking it was a ridiculous idea that she would only attempt out of desperation, but now she was only determined to keep her zen calm.
"My soul burns with heat... It is a fire, pervasive and constant, that banishes the cold from me... With this heat, I find comOTHERFFFFFF" Piper's trance was rudely interrupted by the feeling of being pelted in the back of the neck. Piper was no longer cold, thank God, but that snowball had a rock in it and Piper was not going to abide that. Piper identified the culprit as a small penguin; she grabbed it by one wing and smashed their foreheads together, looking eye to eye. The penguin was rightly terrified of the Monk, her gaze burning with righteous fury. Piper threw the penguin in the air; it enjoyed the miracle of flight as Piper punted it hard, sending it flying out of view. The kill was confirmed only by Piper's XP bar being nudged up.
Piper stuck her tongue in the direction where the penguin had gone. "Serves ya right," she said. When given time to calm down, Piper remembered that the penguins here usually did not attack unless riled up. Ergo, someone was riling them up, ergo, there was another adventurer here. Figuring that teaming up would be the right thing to do in a training situation Piper trotted off, hoping to find this other adventurer.

Words: 476 HP: 100 MP: 90 The cold air chilled when it hit Lance's skin. He was wearing his black leather like jacket with the roses on each of the collars and even that didn't make him warm. He let out a soft chill breath as he walked with his hands in his pockets and a laid back posture to hide how cold he really was. His white hair blew in the wind as it hit his face and he shivered a bit. This was the first time he had been out on the actual field apart from the times when the player killers would take him out of the town so they could rob him and kill him. It was a hard life in the city and it was time for Lance to get stronger anyway so he had come out here to train.
The crystal snowflakes fell to the ground as he knelt down on a small hill "This place sure is beautiful..." he muttered under his breath as he looked at the scenery. A snowflake landed on his nose and it made him shiver but laugh. He was oddly cheerful for being out in the snow with less clothes than he should have on for this environment. He got up and started to walk down the hill, his footprints being marked in the snow as he walked. Lance took slow breaths and a white steam came out of his mouth when he exhaled. He heard someone speak something and a flash of light off in the distance. It was too dark to see what was going on from that far away seeing as the sun gave off little to no light. He silently made his way over and ducked behind a rock.He had not seen what was going on until he peeked out from under the rock and saw a red haired girl standing there fighting a few penguins. He watched her with his head peeping out from over the rock, thinking about whether or not he should join the fight. He sighed and nodded as he picked up his staff and closed his eyes "Two" he said as he opened his eyes "One." he whispered as he pointed his staff at a penguin "Orb of Lava!" Lance watched as a ball of lava bounced off a penguin and hit another. They squeaked and their eyes turned red as they started to head towards him. All he could do was smile. He looked at the girl with a smile "Mind if I hop in?" he smiled and chuckled as the two penguins got closer "If so now is the time to speak up." his eyes shown little concern of the situation at hand. This is the fight he had been looking for for a long time and there was no way he was going to just walk away.

Slipping quietly along the cover of some shrubs Tessia moved silently about, watching for her new quarry. Penguin fur was certainly becoming a bit more prevalent in the City for clothes. Making what she did for a modest time passer profitable and fun. Running her shop had its advantages but she had to get out from time too time and just go hunt something. It was as closest too home that she could get without the wolves and poison ivy. It was cold out still, the freeze not letting up just yet in this world. Luckily Tessia had been taught how to survive in such degrees of cold, a nice insulated cowl and robe enveloped her form, stark white as too easily stay hidden against the snowy fields. Giving her bow a soft tug on the string she moved along, slowly and deliberately in the icy paths.
Hearing the sounds of sudden fighting ahead, she crept up just past a small hill and observed a small gathering of players taking on some penguins. Her eyes barely revealed by her cowl, she slipped low and almost laid upon the ground, still warm and cozy in her lard wrapped shawl. Taking aim at one of the penguins that had jumped away from combat for a moment, Tessia nodded and loosed a shot nailing the creature in the belly. Since it had already been damaged, it burst easily as she slid back behind the cover and waited. She did not want to draw much attention just yet, as her presence might be not liked much. The other adventurers seemed to be lower level somewhat, and a Assassin showing up and killing things uninvited might not be welcome.
Leaning back and watching silently, Tessia's eyes followed the Monk as she fought. How her hair flowed and her body twisted about in the ease of unarmed combat. She knew it wasn't becoming to watch another girl like this, even if her movements where so tantalizing and she wore not what many would consider winter attire. Though too Tessia, it was a very nice sight too see and one she hadn't had a lot of time too enjoy lately. Someone who so valued her fashion and expression as too not allow the weather to affect her dress. Blushing a bit, Tessia continued to watch her, absent minded keeping an eye on the other fighters and the creatures. Should she have too intervene and rush out with her battle ax. Though, from this view she really hoped she wouldn't have too. Her blush deepened a little more.

Two Bodies, One Mind Hp: 100 Mp:80 Smirking to herself, the cleric dashed forward making sure to collect anything that had dropped, quickly stuffing it back into her magic back before letting out the breath she had been holding. Shuddering against the brisk cold air as it wrapped around her skin, she couldn't help but shiver.
Next time she definitely needed to buy some winter ready clothes, her hands had already started to go somewhat numb. Parasole couldn't help but wish she was a higher level. Apparently the more levels you gained, the higher resistance one had against the elements. Then again she could always level were everyone else seemed to, but then again she wasn't like everyone else.
Rubbing her hands together, she blew several quick breaths on to them to try in a somewhat vain effort to provide some type of heat before starting another attack. Letting out another cold large puff of smoke she took note of a small group of penguins nearby. Multiple enemies was never her thing and besides she neither had the offence capabilities nor the healing spells to deal with those types of battles, better to try and wait until one had drifted just enough away so she could attack it without causing the others to aggro on her.
However as the area erupted in a bright light quickly catching her attention she watched as the ball of fire ricocheted from penguin to penguin doing significant damage to their health bars. It was only when she noticed what direction the penguins started heading in, did she take in the figure of a man, judging by the staff in his hands and the ball of fire, she guessed it was another caster class, perhaps a sorcerer. He seemed nice however smiling away as the penguins slowly marched towards him.
It was certainly a sigh to see. Chuckling to herself, she waved towards him. "More the merrier right?" she laughed with a wink but seconds later letting out a scream as a penguin seemed to spontaneously erupt in a cloud of anima bubbles. Her brow furrowed in confusion, had the fire orb added a status debuff she was unsure of?
Shaking her head, she raised her hand above her once more but hesitated as the one of the marching penguins activated snowball gatling. It's small body began pelting small oval balls of pure white towards the sorcerer. The sight was definitely strange, these strange little winter monsters did not look scary at all. Shaking her head, she held her palm towards the man. "Reactive Heal." The sorcerer's body glowed a warm orange light and it stood out in the field of snow.
However the spell would activate and heal once he had taken some damage repairing what little damage these small beings could cause. Biting her lip, she inhaled a quick breath before leaving go another Martyr Spear making sure to take not it's cooldown.

Words: 398 HP: 100 MP: 80 Lance chuckled a little at her small scream. He was unsure what caused the little monster to erupt in little bubbles either but he just found her little scream a bit funny. He grabbed his staff as thought about what to do next. He took a deep breath and closed his eyes "I can't use orb of Lava again..." he muttered to himself as he thought about what to do. Since his eyes weren't open he would not notice the snowball heading towards him. He was hit straight on with one and he opened his eyes "Hey that sort of hurt!" he said as he moved out of the way of the next snowball. His body was glowing with a warm light and he smiled as he felt a bit better "Thanks." he glanced over at the girl and nodded. He couldn't see them but he sensed other players in the area. It must have just been his imagination since he couldn't see anything other than the penguins and the Cleric girl.
He moved out of the way at the snowballs were hurled at him. The snow really didn't help his movements at all and in fact slowed him down a bit. He sighed "Its sort of hard to move with all this snow..." he said as he quickly surveyed his surroundings, trying to find something to use or something to get a higher ground. He spied a rock on the ground and saw that it had a sharp tip. He smiled and grabbed his staff. "Psychic Conductor!" the rock started to float in the air and he used his staff to hurl it towards the penguin who was about to throw another snowball at him. The point hit the penguin straight on and it fell to the ground, finished off.
Lance smiled at the Cleric "Thanks for the heal back there... there are three penguins left." he smiled and turned around to face the penguins as he cancelled his grip on the rock. He waited to use Orb of Lava again since the cool down was still going. A Penguin cast Snowball Gatling and started to hurl snowballs at the two of them. Lance, now standing next to the girl, pat her on the shoulder "Be ready to move out of the way." he slightly chuckled but kept his eyes on the penguin, ready for the snowballs.

» Piper's ear twitched when she heard a shrill, girly scream. It echoed a bit in the mountains but Piper was able to identify its direction; she quickly rushed off towards it, hoping it was a defenseless Lander... If it was an adventurer, they were probably in a fight that was way over their heads, which would be way over Piper's head. This would mean that she would not get the chance to be the cool and stylish hero, which would be lame.
Of course, what Piper saw she could not have guessed, and was potentially even lamer. What she saw when she found the source of the scream was not one, but two adventurers who were being accosted by a small group of level one penguins. Furthermore, the adventurers seemed to be having no trouble at all with these penguins. This left Piper feeling rather perplexed.
"Hey. I heard a scream. I thought I was needed but... maybe not?" Piper punched a penguin and caused it to vanish in a puff of anima, just to be sure. Piper looked at the pair again and realized that she recognized the redhead from her time in class at the guild. "Oh, you're Parasole right? I'm Piper if you didn't remember. Saskia told me that you'd be up here and that I should train with you. So, here I am, up here. With you. For training. Yeah." Piper kicked around a patch of snow and whistled; she was all prepared to make a dramatic entrance and save some people, but alas, it was not to be.
Pouting slightly, Piper wandered off to the side and sat down in the snow; she found a gray mound in the sea of white; a rock perfectly suited to resting on, so Piper thought. The problem was, it was not a rock. It was, in fact, a fourth party member, and not the sort of place Piper should be putting her ass without proper consent.

Her first thought was that she had been attacked from behind. A odd pressure aside her head and shoulder. She had looked away for a moment to slip away her bow as the fighting seemed to slow a little. Hearing the cute girl talking she had no idea what to expect next as her view was obscured by her cowl and the largish hill of snow that was her cover. And it was warm, like that of a bears arms or maybe a Nepents limbs. How wrong she was.
Her battle instincts taking over, Tessia rolled from under the creature whatever it was and grappled with it as her cloak obscured her and the unfortunate target in its warm embrace. Meant as a distraction for whatever decided to attack her back, Tessia used it to bind and blind targets. What was bad was, it wasn't a creature, or even remotely harmful. It was the girl she had been watching a few moments before, obscured by her cloak as she tumbled with her holding her arms in her hands. So shocked Tessia was she ended up landing on her back with the girl flopping unceremoniously atop her, hard and practically astride her. At the very moment it was as if the universe chose to let a stray gust blow the cloak off her form and the other girls. It couldn't have been any more strange looking. The taller Monk looking almost as if she was wrestling the lither shorter Assassin on the snowy ground.
Panting with exhaustion from her rapid movement, Tessia could only stare up into the eyes of the beautiful girl she had been watching before. Unable too speak, unable to even move as her face mask slipped loose and revealed her face. Her mind reeled from the sudden position she was in, and that she wasn't moving. Could barely breathe. and just could not change her expression of sheer surprise and shock. She must be looking quite the fool too the lower level adventurers that she had come to aid. How would she get out of this one?

Two Bodies, One Mind Hp: 50 Mp:80 Rubbing her hands together, she watched with awe as the sorcerer's skills, the way he seemed to not only cast and control elements, he seemed to be able to interact with the environment and bend it to his will, a trait that the cleric had only assumed that druid's had been able to use. Nodding in response she noted that the cool down on her spear skill would take awhile, that meant that it was time to get creative. "Impressive magic,"
Her second skill miracle mine was perfect for this. It planted a mine beneath the player, it could be denoted by stepping on it or remotely by snapping her fingers, it could also be stacked and with a casting time of 1 second and a cool down of 5 seconds, it was incredibly easy to stack them in an area. However the sorcerer seemed ready to let off another attack and Parasole could only nod in response hoping that it wouldn't cause too much damage to her. In an instant another appeared. It was a tall woman with an incredibly lean build. It was strange but her eyes were drawn to her, her clothing choice was rather odd unless that was her intention. It was strange and the cleric couldn't explain it but she felt in awe of the woman, then she noticed the idol subclass, it was no wonder. It was only when the woman spoke that she placed her.
It was a fellow guild member Piper, the monk who had voiced so much support for her during the meeting. As if it was nothing to her at all, her fist made contact with the penguin bursting it open into a cloud of anima. "That's my name anyway," The cleric replied with a nod, noting how Saskia seemed to keep track of her guild members whereabouts, something she would need to keep note of if she ever needed to use it to her advantage. "Glad you came, you wouldn't happen to have a spare coat or anything?" She joked knowing that the two were going to freeze their asses off trying to train up here.
Much to her surprise, the monk seemed to be a sniffer dog exploring the snow before pulling another adventurer from the ground as if she was the princess from super smash bros. The cleric struggled to remain calm, as it was a shock that there had been such a high level player nearby and that she had been completely unaware. Although it would explain how the penguin had exploded earlier on, it still didn't sit with well with her. "Are you some kind of pervert?" She glared at the new adventurer, ignoring the levels she had on the cleric. "Who lies in the snow waiting to pop up and scare someone!"
A snicker behind her only seemed to irritate the cleric more. "It isn't funny you know!" The cleric grumbled turning her head only to let out another scream. It was beginning to become a habit wasn't it. Standing just behind her and the sorcerer was a Naughty Snowman, it was level 15, 14 levels higher than her. The cleric's eyes widened as it took in it's creepy smile and dark coal eyes. It must have been drawn by the higher level player and amount of combat in the area.
Raising it's hand composed of pure snow, it flash for a second drawing a weapon composed of ice. In an instant it slashed forward at the two before it. In an instant the cleric let out a scream as she was sent flying backwards, her body hitting the ground with a thump, the snow did nothing to soften the blow. As she struggled to her feet, she noted her hp was down to by 50%. She could only hope that because the snowman had hit her, that the sorcerer had managed to dodge the attack.
Drawing her sword, she did her best to ignore the pain. If they worked together, they could take it down, of course either Piper or the other player would need to tank or it would be quick grave for Lance and herself.

Ice Brand: The snowman channels magic to form a ice sword that is as strong as a weapon. Melted Heart: Changes to a Level 10 Jolly Snowman after its HP reaches 0. Too bad they melt faster than they can achieve such goals.
