Klide strolled along the coast line, his usually light tan complexion had paled slightly over the long dark winter. Fortunately though, with the coming of spring and the warm rays of the sun returning to fry his exposed flesh, color was beginning to return to his skin. His shaggy dark brown hair was long now, and he had it tied back in a small bun, aside from one hair string he had decorated with wooden beads. It lay down across his left shoulder. He leaned down at the water's edge and washed his face in the cool stream of fluid. Then he wiped away some of the water on his face with his hand, and looked down at his heterochromic eyes. The purple one looked almost black in the dim early morning light, but the orange one shone in a shade that almost appeared to be almost vermilion. He wore soft, brown leather boots and loose fitting black pants, which taped as they went lower down the leg, finally finishing skin tight at the ankles. His loose cotton shirt swayed in the breeze as he walked along the dirt path. He had his claymore, Ragnarok in his inventory, as well as both of his large katanas, Fox and Tiger. The dry dirt crunched under his feet as he moved further into the forest, with the occasional snap of a twig audible underfoot as well. He was unsure of where this path would take him. All he knew was that it was early, and he was up for a little walk. The trees along the coast had grown as if reaching for the river, creating an pretty half tunnel of green branches over head. Up ahead, the forest area was further from the river, and the morning light was much brighter there. Klide walked into the clearing and shielded his eyes from the bright crimson rays, and let his eyes adjust to the new concentration of light. Then he layed down in the soft grass and looked up at the burgundy clouds floating above him. Before he knew it, he had entered a calm slumber. Lance silently walked on the coast with a sigh. The air was cool and it was a nice day outside as the winter had already came and went. His palish skin shone in the sun as he walked. His bright purple eyes closed as he stuffed his hands into the pockets of his black jacket. The jacket was a leathery like substance and it had silver roses on each of the collars. He wore black jeans that looked a little worn but were still in good condition. He had gone out without shoes today so he could feel the ground on his feet, something he had not been able to do for a long time now. The last time he had gone out into the wilderness like this was in Snowdonia when he fought off some penguins and a couple of higher level Snowmen. He eventually entered a clearing and sighed "This looks like a good place..." he said as he took a look around while leaning on a small tree. It was pretty empty except for the occasional fall of a leaf from a tree or a bird flying over. He was about to rest for a while until he saw a person sleeping in the grass. He raised an eyebrow and calmly walked over there, leaning over the man and looking him in the eyes. Lance did not say anything to the man because he wanted to let him sleep but he was a bit interested. He stared down at the man "A person sleeping in the middle of the wilderness is not safe at all..." he muttered under his breath as he knelt on one knee and examined the man up and down. He looked like a human so he wasn't all that scared of him. No monster, no problem.

Klide awoke to the face of another man, very close to his. "Um.... Hi there..." He was very confused that someone he had never met would stare at his eyes with such intensity from such a short distance. "Can I help you sir?" He said, as he sat up. He looked at his surroundings and noticed that the sun had risen a bit since he had lain down. He had probably slept for about half an hour by now. He looked back at the man. "I'm sorry, I did not catch your name, I am Klide, Swashbuckler and Connoisseur of naps" as he said the latter portion, he let out a light hearted laugh. His laugh was cut short by the sound of two familiar voices in the distance, and the crackling of twig, stone, and gravel under the feet of the sources of those voices. "It can't be... Sorry sir, but I need to leave you for a time." With that, he dashed into the dense, dew covered, brush. He was now leaping from branch to branch, looking for his friend. The voices were close, so it would not take long to reach them. He leaped onto the next branch and was suddenly above the two people, ones he had shared a very important adventure with. Dumah was holding Alette's hand as they walked down the path in the tunnel of trees. As they passed by him, he dropped from the branch he had perched on, and glared at Dumah's back. "Dumah, Alette, Hello" Dumah turned to the familiar voice. As Dumah spoke, Klide was lost in thought. He needed to tell Dimah how he felt, what he thought of their relationship, and how he felt unequal. He Blurted his thoughts out all at once, cutting Dumah off mid sentence. "Dumah... There is something I have been meaning to talk to you about for a while now. I... I... Somewhere deep down, I feel jealous of you. I thought you were like me, but now, I feel like no matter what I do, I will never be your equal. Your heroic qualities, your skills as a leader, your passion and love as a father, I respect all of that in you. I do, but deep down, I feel jealous of you. When you lost Alette, you brought all of us together, and I like you for that, and I am proud of you for that. But all of this, It is a problem with how I feel. The way things are now, I will never be able to look into your eyes as an equal! I feel like out of everyone, I want you to acknowledge me the most! So Dumah, I want you to hit me! I know it might be hard for you to just suddenly hit me like this, but I need you to do this! Acknowledge me as your equal with a punch!"Word Count: 488 Total Word Count: 844 Tags: @dumah , lanceknight

Saproth mindlessly collected herbs on his hands and knees as he crawled along a trail along the coast. Hopefully, he thought, it would be more than enough to get a sufficient amount of extract to make a load of ‘base herbs’.
He has been collecting herbs since the break of dawn and been putting what he has collected into a satchel on the side of his belt. The herb trail was long and Saproth didn’t care where the trail was leading him to, only that there was a lot of herbs and he intended to collect them as long as there were there.
As a pharmacist, it was difficult enough gathering herbs by hand as the sun glimmered at his arse, probably making it about ten or eleven in the hour. “Probably about time to have a snack...” He said to himself thinking of breaking for lunch.
Just then, Saproth heard a rustling through the trees... as if a giant monkey just hurled himself across one tree to another. Distracted enough to forget that he was about to take a lunch break, Saproth decided to follow the direction of the large monkey creature.
Saproth found himself at the edge of a clearing as he walked along the direction of the shadow as it left a trail of fallen leaves down the forest floor. It dawned on him that he was following a man swinging through the trees. Most probably, another player, he thought to himself.
Only some distance from the herb trail, he saw three men in mids discussion. This probably are the men, or man, he was following earlier.
Trying to go unnoticed through the brushes, Saproth tried to conceal himself behind a tree and listen in. Eavesdropping, Saproth was only able to catch the end of the conversation, asking one man to strike the other.
Intently, Saproth listened in as if spying for some reason he didn’t know. Its been too long since Saproth was in the middle of something interesting and life, in the game, was getting dull enough to allow himself this small amount of entertainment. Hopefully, he doesn’t get found out and he would have to explain himself, thinking he really didn’t have any reason to be there...
Saproth watched if the man will go through with his request to punch the other.

Walking through a dense forest with his daughter beside him, holding onto his hand after she had already lost sight of him once, Dumah and Alette were soon caught up with a man they had both come to know and become close friends with. "Dumah, Alette, Hello" Dumah turned to the familiar voice. As Dumah spoke, Klide was lost in thought. He seemed to have something weighing heavily on him.
"Klide, old friend! How-"
Klide blurted his thoughts out all at once, cutting Dumah off mid sentence. "Dumah... There is something I have been meaning to talk to you about for a while now. I... I... Somewhere deep down, I feel jealous of you. I thought you were like me, but now, I feel like no matter what I do, I will never be your equal. This was all something Klide had been waiting so long to confess, yet Dumah had gotten as far as "Acknowledge" before Klide was cut off mid sentence by a punch so strong it sent him back on his butt. "This does not make us equals, Klide. You should realize that." Dumah smiled and extended his hand to his friend. "I think it would make us equals if we both hit each other though."

As he spoke, Klide became aware that someone was eavesdropping in on his conversation with Dumah. Oh how it helped to be a tracker. At the moment though, he did not care. He continued his speak, and was about to upper the last of his words, when he was interrupted by a punch. This was all something Klide had been waiting so long to confess, yet Dumah had gotten as far as "Acknowledge" before Klide was cut off mid sentence by a punch so strong that it launched him onto his ass. "Damnit Dumah! That hurt!... Now that I think about it, this doesn't make us equals at all!" Klide rubbed his cheek and looked up to see Dumah standing over him. "This does not make us equals, Klide. You should realize that." Dumah smiled and extended his hand to his friend. "I think it would make us equals if we both hit each other though." Klide took his friends hand, and was lifted back up onto his feet. He brushed the dust and dirt from his butt. He looked around at the surroundings for a moment. The forest had gone silent. The symphony of bird's songs, and the chorus of insects had all died down. Klide inhaled sharply and then clenched up both of his fists. "I will be your equal!" He shouted as the first of many punches flew from his fist.

Lance blinked for a second as Klide left the scene claiming he had heard someone walking near them. He sighed and ran his hand through his hair "That wasn't very nice... rude..." he muttered to himself before chuckling to himself and started to follow the man. He ended up following Klide until he saw that Klide was talking to another person, someone he hadn't seen before. Lance leaned on a tree that was by him and watched the scene play out with a calm expression on his face. Klide wanted to be equal that's all. Lance's face changed a bit at Klides request. His once calm expression was now a face of pain. He remembered back before all of this happened, back when the real world was still a world he lived in, he was bullied a lot. He knew what it was like to not be accepted, to not be equal. That is why he joined this game.... For a chance to be equal. As Klide punched Dumah he smirked a bit "Keep working towards it... you will get it one day..." he muttered to himself as a silent message to Klide. He eventually got tired of watching and headed over to the pair, getting out his staff, and whacking Klide on the back on the head "If you want to be his equal then show him by getting stronger. Don't go around getting him to punch you or punching him as a way to show that you are strong enough. In my eyes that just makes you weaker than you actually are... I dont know what this was about but grow up." he said as he wore a straight face, no sign of a smile or anger. Just seriousness. This was the first time his serious side had ever come out and it didn't last long as he soon wore a smile "That was kind of rude... you leaving like that." he said as he held out his hand "The names Lance Knighthunter, Sorcerer and member of House of Crowns. Its nice to meet you." Word count: 347 Tags: @blazeedge saproth @dumah

Saproth didn’t care any more, this was too much good entertainment to pass up. Without a shred of embarrassment, Saproth waved his hand and made one of the tree roots form into a decent table and chair, directly in the viewing direction of the men.
Without a care, he made it seem like he was watching some sort of play. He drawn out his lunch and started to eat his meal. He wondered why they have paused their little theatrical display and he waved his hand at them, “Oh, don’t mind me...” He smiled at them, “Please continue.” He said as he took another bite out of his meal.

Lillian let out a long sigh as she wandered through the Thames Coastline. She wasn't a near enough level to be out here on her own and she knew that, but she also knew that she was a risk taker. She had wandered further than this before, though she couldn't understand why she was still such a low level. Either way, she continued on, her feet stepping through dirt as she felt the warm sun on her skin. She hated the outdoors. Like, seriously didn't care for it, but for some reason, in this new strange world, she found herself not only outside the majority of the time, but actually liking the way the cool air felt on her face. She let out a sigh and spoke to herself. "You're getting soft Lil.." She bit on her lower lip and raised her head to the sky, her hand following as she stopped for a moment and looked up at it. It was so quiet.. too quiet for her liking. Not that she really enjoyed other people and their company, she wished for some right about now. People were better than ravenous monsters that wanted nothing more than to feast on her beautiful skin. She trembled at the thought of glowing eyes in the dark. She thanked the sun for being here today because that was a memory she never wanted to replay again.
As she continued on down the coastline, she heard a rustle in the bushes and watched a man with white hair follow the rustle. She tilted her head and eyed the stranger up. 'Well, aren't you a handsome beast..' She let out a smirk as she thought to herself and quickly bounded into the bushes to follow him and whatever he was following. As she came up to the white haired stranger, she saw more people, two of which were yelling about equality of some sort. She tuned them out, letting out a soft maniacal laugh, then quickly covering her mouth and ducking in case any of them looked in her direction. When she figured she was safe, she looked back up and just as she did, she watched a man with dark black hair punch a cute guy with short hair, and beads in the strands! Instantly, she stood up, held her hand out and shouted, "noooo!!!" Just as the cute guy punched the other guy in the face. Her eyes widened, as did her mouth as she gave the whole group an awkward smile and lowered herself back into the bushes. 'Oh my god.. OH MAH GOD LILLIAN! WAI!?!?! You Fool!!!!!!!' She shook her head, her eyes filled with fear. What sort of first impressin had she just given off, in front of a group of guys no less! Well, and a young girl too, but still! She cringed at the thought of what they were thinking. She was a pop star idol! She wasn't supposed to be fangirling over guys, it was never her thing, yet, there she was, nearly drooling at all the handsomeness surrounding her. She couldn't get out of the bushes.. Would never get out! The embarrassment was just.. too much.

A white haired man began to interrupt the little spar between Dumah and Klide, and despite Klide seeming so desperate for this stand off, Dumah was rather relieved. He did not exactly want to fight his friend, but he did wish to fulfill his request. As the man introduced himself to Dumah, he held his hand out, prompting for Dumah to shake it. "The name's Lance Knighthunter, Sorcerer and member of House of Crowns. It's nice to meet you." Dumah smiled and took Lance's offered hand, shaking it firmly. "I am Dumah Exilium Iino, Swashbuckler, ex-founder and ex-leader of the disbanded Boston Tea Party raid party, founder and leader of the newly established guild of Noihara, and benefactor of the people. The pleasure is all mine." He then let go of Lance's hand, his smile remaining on his face. Off to the side, a young pink haired girl had jumped out of some bushes, shouting in protest of the fight between Dumah and Klide, but had hidden herself back into the bush after realizing it was a spar, and not an ambush of some sort. Dumah's daughter, Alette, had walked over to the bush the girl was hiding in and inspected it closer, smiling and giggling as she found the pink haired woman. "Are you okay?" In the sweet, soft voice that most young girls have in common, she asked the woman, showing some concern, as well as childish curiosity. - 241 Words - - Total: 588 - Here's Alette's character sheet, by the way, since she hasn't posted in this thread. log-horizon.proboards.com/thread/3702/sorcerer-alette-caelius

Klide had just allowed his fist to connect with Dumah's jaw, and he felt the hard jaw bone under Dumah's skin connecting with his fist. He was about to throw another punch when he felt a dull thwack on the back of his head. "If you want to be his equal then show him by getting stronger. Don't go around getting him to punch you or punching him as a way to show that you are strong enough. In my eyes that just makes you weaker than you actually are... I don't know what this was about but grow up." he said as he wore a straight face, no sign of a smile or anger. Just seriousness. His serious side did not last long as he soon wore a smile. "That was kind of rude... you leaving like that." he said as he held his hand out toward Klide. "The names Lance Knighthunter, Sorcerer and member of House of Crowns. Its nice to meet you." Klide accepted his hand and apologized for leaving the man so abruptly. "As I said earlier, I am Klide. again, I am sorry for leaving so soon, but I needed to find this man." He gestured towards Dumah. "He is a dear friend of mine, and I respect him dearly. That is why I did what I did. Maybe punches were not the best route, but they were the route I chose, so I do not regret them. If nothing else, this will give us something to laugh about in the future." He then smiled at Dumah. "I am sorry for asking you to fight me, it was a rather selfish and foolish request. And now I must ask, where is Alette?" he looked for Alette so he could apologize to her too. He found her standing next to what he assumed had to have been the source of the high pitched "nooo!!!" he had heard earlier, just as he was throwing his punch. She was in the tall grass at the edge of the path. "Alette, I am sorry, truly I am!" He shouted to her apologetically, and then he noticed that the other woman's eyes were wet, and that her face was red. "Please miss, do not cry. I am truly sorry if us punching each other made you upset. Please, do come out of those bushes" He offered a warm smile and gestured for her to join him and the other two men on the dirt path. As Klide tried to coax the embarrassed woman to join the small group, Dumah made his way over to the bushes, and offering the woman a charming smile, extending his hand out towards her like some cliche straight out of an anime, yet nonetheless approachable. Perhaps this was due in part to his Courtesan Subclass? "Please, there is no need to hide."

Enjoying ever second, Saproth smiled as this was the most entertainment he had witnessed since getting trapped in this world. New people have arrived and she seemed familiar. He wanted to wave at her but she seemed pre-occupied with the man he was talking with so Saproth thought there was much time to get re-acquainted later.
As everyone was occupied with their conversation, Saproth noticed something troubling underneath them. Still a distance away, Saproth was in viewing distance from everyone, comfortably seated on the makeshift table and chair eating away at his dried up jerky. He was in perfect distance however as he noticed the ground under them start to crack and warp as if something was snaking beneath the earth.
Saproth waved at them but the food in his throat prevented him from calling out and giving them a clear warning.

Lance smiled at what was going on. The boy eating, the guys fighting, the woman that had screamed. Everything was coming together now. He walked over to the girl in the bushes and saw another girl in there as well "Its no good hiding." he said with a warm smile "Please come join us." he said to the woman who had tears in her eyes. He offered her a hand before looking over at the girl that was referred to as Alette for a second before talking to the two "My name is Lance Knighthunter it is nice to meet both of you." Lance walked back to the group with a smile. His face was happy once again and he stopped by Klide "I understand now but that does not mean that punching him would help." He had not smiled in a while and he usually did not trust people at first contact but this group was different. They seemed light hearted and kind not like the people back home or that group in each town who would bully him just to take something from him.
His friends were nowhere to be found since the game had begun and he let them go off on there own. He told them to leave him alone in fact. He regret that decision most of all as he was now lost with very few friends. His voice still echoing in his mind from that day "You got me into this mess! Leave me alone!" he had told them. It was a bad decision but now he had to pay the price.

Lillian found her striking blue eyes looking towards the soft voiced girl and she felt her eyebrow twinge slightly. "Oh.. uh... yeah, I'm okay.." She found herself looking into the girl's brown eyes for a small while, her own eyes narrowing with curiosity. She was clearly a Lander child, yet, she was traveling with adventurers. A group of male adventurers no less! As if on intact, her motherly instincts kicked in and she took the child gently by the arm. "Are these men bothering you, or hurting you?!" She didn't have any children or anything, but females often had motherly instincts just from being born a woman. She cringed at the thought of having children of her own, probably because of the way her own mother was, but she couldn't stand by at watch as a little child was-
Then her thoughts were, surprisingly, cut off. The cute guy from before was apologizing to the child. She had thrown her eyes to the male but then looked to the girl. She wasn't showing any signs of fear and there was no signs of abuse or anything of the like. She ran her tongue against her upper lip and let go of the young girl's arm, though when she realized what the guy, Klide, she noticed as her eyes gazed up to the bar above his head, she stood up quickly, blinking away the water that had formed in them. "I- I wasn't upset with your fighting!" Then, before she could add more to her rebut, the other male, Dumah, she scanned, came over to greet her as well, offering her a smile and his hand, telling her not to hide. She clenched her teeth. Clearly they thought that she was afraid of fighting or something, and that just made her bones burn. If only her level were higher, if only she spent more time fighting than she did just lolly gagging around the world, she would have shown them all what she was capable of. Fortunately for them though, their levels exceeded hers and she wasn't one to pick fights she knew she couldn't win.
Then, just as she thought she could somehow use these guys, the white haired, lanceknight, no, Lance, as she would call him from now on, also came over to her, telling her not to hide and also holding out his hand to her. He introduced herself and she almost smiled, but didn't. She looked down to the two extended hands and tilted her head. If she wasn't the person she was, or was in some sort of anime, she would do one of two things, gush blood all over the lot or begin to swoon and eventually faint, though, she was a pop star idol, this wasn't anime, though it was a game, and she was more stubborn than anyone she had ever met, so instead of talking anyone's hand, she picked up the young girl and stepped through the bushes, being careful to not hurt her. "You shouldn't crawl through bushes, you know. Sometimes it's dangerous, and you'll get your clothes dirty." And that is coming from the girl who crawled through a bunch of bushes to spy on a guy.. Who was she anyways? Once she was through the bushes, she set her down and turned towards the group, still not seeing the druid, Saproth, yet. She took in a deep breath and huffed, staring down the three men in front of her, pointing a finger at them.
"First of all, let's get this straight. I wasn't crying because you guys were punching each other. I could care less about that, but you shouldn't hurt your beautiful faces!" Wait. What?! No! Stop, stop right there Lillian! "If you must punch each other for some strange manly man reasons, go for the stomach!" After she said that, she began a slight rampage of word vomit that she would regret later, but just couldn't help herself. She pointed at Dumah first. "I don't know what the story is with the kid, but I do no you should be teaching her valuable lessons! You seem like a really sweet person so you shouldn't teach her that violence solves things!" She didn't even know what she was talking about. Then she pointed at Klide. "And you! You are far too cute and innocent looking to be getting into fights with people!" Oh god. Please just ignore her.. Before she was finished she whispered softly, "love the beads, by the way." She winked and tossed him a devious smirk. She really is a horrible person, don't let her act fool you! The she pointed towards Lance. "And as for you!" She stared at him for a moment, her eyes blinked a few times and she tilted her head. "uhm.. actually, you've done nothing wrong but stand there and look super pretty.. so I forgive you!" Oddly enough, she just wanted to walk right up to him and nuzzle his pretty face, yup, she was being weird.
Finally, after she clued into what ever the hell she was saying, her eyes widened, her cheeks burned a bright red and she turned away from them. 'That's it.. you've lost your damned mind Lil! Is this who I can expect to be from now on, cause I don't like it!' She mentally yelled at herself because she truly didn't think she was being herself. She felt all out of sorts and she bite her lip, raising her eyes from the ground. When she looked up, she was staring directly at Saproth, the druid she had met when she was first tossed into the realm of Elder Tale. She tilted her head, watching him waves his arms, his face looked as if he was choking on something. She turned around to the three and pointed towards the druid. "I think he's dying! Someone help him!" Why was she in such a state of panic and why was Lillian, the super cool pop star Idol acting like a crazy fan girl with a high school crush? Perhaps it had something to do with the rumbles that Saproth was feeling under the earth, but perhaps not.. We'll find out next time on... The Darker of Two Evils, staring Lillian Ula Rose, aka, LuLu~

The girl was finally coaxed out of the bushes, and with her came the young Sorcerer girl. ((By the way, LuLu, Alette is not "Obviously" a Lander. Long story short: She has Rundelhaus Syndrome.)) The pink haired girl started reprimanding and lecturing the men. "First of all, let's get this straight. I wasn't crying because you guys were punching each other. I could care less about that, but you shouldn't hurt your beautiful faces! If you must punch each other for some strange manly man reasons, go for the stomach!" The first one to have the finger pointed at him and lectured was Dumah himself. "I don't know what the story is with the kid, but I do no you should be teaching her valuable lessons! You seem like a really sweet person so you shouldn't teach her that violence solves things!"
Dumah chuckled and smiled softly and handsomely in response to her lecture and to her compliment, claiming Dumah seems like a 'really sweet person.' "Well," the young girl walked over to Dumah, grabbing onto his hand, which Dumah held in kind. "this is Alette, she is my daughter." Dumah smiled happily as he softly rubbed Alette's head. He then looked once again to LuLu. "You are right, though, in both regards: we should go for the stomach instead of the face, and I should not be imprinting such a poor lesson on her." Dumah deeply thanked his choice of the Courtesan subclass in the back of his head, for without it he would have a bit more difficulty keeping this peaceful façade. No parent wanted to be told they were doing their job wrong, but Dumah also knew LuLu was, in part, correct. Perhaps it was that realization that helped him remain calm? He credited both equally, both his Courtesan subclass, and the fact that LuLu was correct.

After the others had walked over to the girl and she had refused their help, coming out of the bushes with Alette and then dishing out some harsh criticisms on Dumah, Klide became rather worried when she pointed to him. "And You!" Klide flinched as she yelled. "You are far too cute and innocent looking to be getting into fights with people!" Klide stood bewildered, his face becoming hot as he processed what she had just said. "love the beads, by the way." He then received a winked and a cute smile. Klide was not sure what to say. He was not used to getting such compliments from such beautiful girls, whether they were strangers or not. He returned the smile and walked over to the woman. "Th...Thank you, I must say, it has been a long time since I have heard such kind words." He looked at her face from closer up and noticed some features he had not seen before. Her hair was very long, almost at her knees, and a shorted strand was cutely running down her face. Her eyes were mystifyingly beautiful and seemed to have a force around them, as if they were slowly pulling other peoples eyes towards them. She averted her eyes as she began to beam bright red with embarrassment. "Please, do not be embarrassed, you are very pretty... Lillian. Once again, I am sorry for my violence whether you were scared or not, I am sorry." He offered another smile and then realized that his hair was a bit off after the first punch he had taken from Dumah. He ran his hand through his hair, guiding it back into its original position. Possibly because he was distracted, he did not hear her when she pointed to the forest and said "I think he's dying! Someone help him!"Word Count: 307 Total Word Count: 1493+307=1800 Tags: @dumah , LuLu , lanceknight , saproth
