Thank you for dropping by Ephemeral Solace's interest page! We are an active, fun, and friendly guild with a tight knit community for adventurers and people of the land who play a support class.

V A L U E S

01. To provide solace (through food, shelter, medicine) through our abilities and skills to all who need it, no matter their alignment. We act on a completely neutral ground.
02. To aid adventurers and/or landers on quests and raids as either a healing or support class.
03. To research and craft products that will further The Unfounded Kingdom's medical and culinary field.

A C T I V I T Y

Here are Ephemeral Solace, our in-character activities focus on three fronts: Combat/Social&Charity/Research&Craft. For those of you who want to flex your healing and buffing/debuffing skills, you may be interested in our guild-run quests, or we can connect you to hiring guilds or adventurers/landers in need of a healer or support class for their raids or quests. If combat is not your main interest, our social threads may be your cup of tea. We offer threads where guild members can interact in guild-run events (a day at the lake, a tea party!) as well as threads where we can just carry out our work and help new or injured adventurers. Lastly, our guild also places a large emphasis on research and crafts, so expect many research and crafting threads that will advance Elder Tale's medical field, or help plan and produce goods for our guild's soon-to-be cafe ! While it may seem like the guild is divided into sections, you are not limited to one type of activity. Like combat and crafting? Great! You're welcome to go on raids for Ephemeral Solacea and help craft too. Prefer to stick to research? No problem!

Ephemeral Solstice is a guild that extends out of character too. We wish to create bonds that will last a while, if not forever. Thus, expect many out of character events, such as movie nights, a Skype group, contests, and more. :D The hope is to make Ephemeral Solstice, affectionately called ES, a guild with values, ideas, and personality made up of its members. Help us choose what our cafe would look like, what type of threads we should make, and other fun decisions!

At Ephemeral Solace, we aid everyone and anyone who requires it. However, to be a member, you must fulfill at least one of the requirements below:

01. play a healer class:

03. Play a non healer or support class, but have a support build
04. play one of these roleplaying subclasses actively:

charuen is the founder of ephemeral solace. kind, patient, and caring are words one would use to describe her. she is an older sister figure to many of her peers, and always has the interests of others at heart and before herself. that being said, while she may seem like a pushover at first to those who meet her, the pinkette can hold her ground, both in combat and when it comes to diplomatic issues.

An esteemed and capable swordsman, Dorian combines the abilities of his Dancer subclass and his Shaman barriers to create a DPS machine on the battlefield. When he's in a party, his buffs give him the ability to work as an off-support, keeping his allies in the fight for as long as possible. When he isn't cutting down foes or dancing his way to a new high score in DDR, Dorian enjoys the relaxing past time of cooking, shaping ingredients into the most delicious meals. He may be introverted, but thanks to the new world he's in, and the new companion he has in the form of Skrowe, Dorian is willing to set aside his own fear of others to provide aid and bring happiness to those that need it.

Introverted and socially clumsy, Capsule prefers the company of plants and animals to that of people. She is snarky and categorizes herself as chaotic neutral, and enjoys playing a few harmless tricks on others. It is rare to see her without her fatherly polar bear or faithful dog. She is definitely the go to person for dynamic entries.

KittyGrey could be called the mother hen of the group, always trying to cater to everyone's needs, even if they interfere with her own. She spends most of her time in the kitchen or cleaning up the guild house after their numerous visitors and it's members. She can be a little spacey but is truly very smart and super sweet! She refuses pay of any kind for missions she is sent on, unless it is a main event or boss mission, and then she can't really refuse it.

Izumi, or rather 'Khaleesi', is a serious gal. Quiet too. You won't see her getting into any arguments, but you won't see her being a social butterfly either. That's not to say that she isn't approachable. In fact, she's pretty friendly and outgoing once you've got her rolling. Just don't get her angry though, she's got a mean straight and hook despite her supportive class.

A seeker and preserver of knowledge, if you don't find her with her nose in a book, lost in thought or off in some damp dark dungeon then you have the wrong enchantress. Kind, caring and at moments maybe a bit immature, Lavinia really is just your average teenager, with a not so average thirst to learn. Not like typical Scholars from the text books, Lavinia has no issue with sharing the knowledge she's gained, whether through instruction of others or the more dirty exchange of magical attacks with monsters. All anyone has to do is ask.

A girl who fell out of the timeline from the doomed history of the Lune Seaport, Laelia was brought to this dimension by a young black magician who took her in. Generally a taciturn individual toward many she would meet, she does have a tendency to jokingly tease the people she feels closer to. Often distinguishable in a crowd due to her parasol, Laelia gives off the impression of an independent person lost in thought and trying to understand the mysteries of this world. She carries with her the magic of a lost age and conveys this power in the form of her arcane song magic. Due to her background, she is also fairly proficient at handiwork as well, preferring to be working on a tailoring project rather than exploring a dungeon.

The oddball. Pioneer1 or Pio is an exploration expert currently seeking the path to return her adventurer compatriots to their home. Earnest to a fault, she labors tirelessly in any endeavor. A former goldseller bot before the calamity, she now systematically catalogs geographical data in order to forge articles and maps for the dissemination of knowledge throughout the adventurer community. Typically on the road, people tend to treat her like a stray cat when they see her. Loves Carbuncles.

- Guild entry requirements have been changed. Alchemist (crafting class) will no longer be an accepted class for admittance into the guild. This rule change is effective upon the day of this announcement. Those who I have talked with prior to this announcement (you know who you are) are exempt from this rule.

I totally have no qualms with you joining even if you decide to leave the guild eventually. I am ready to add you to the list, but I do have one concern, and it's a concern that I have brought up with other members before too (so like, I'm not trying to pick out a reason for you not to join). Would Lyss really identify and enjoy Ephemeral Solace? Regarding the technicalities of classes, he pretty much fits the bill so it's no problem. However, his personality, as you put it, is insane. Do you think helping others, being a stable support for adventurers and landers in need (both physically, mentally, and/or emotionally), is something he would be interested or capable of doing? :) In the end you know your character better than I do, so if you think it works with your character then sweet-- I'll add you to the guild ~!

Nah he'd probably get bored and end up wrapping himself in bandages and walking around like a mummy until he walks off a cliff. Part of me wants him to join because I feel he'd be some very interesting comic relief. While he himself wouldn't really want to join the Londinium Red Cross equivalent, it would be good for him and I feel he'd accept that he needs a kick in the ass in the right direction. Go ahead and sign me up; he'll definitely help out and join in the threads, but don't expect him to be employee of the month, you know?
