Dumah swiped his finger through the air, gesturing to open the player's menu. He tapped numerous buttons to access his inventory and equipped gear. He unequipped his swords, and changed to average street clothing as he walked a few steps in the direction of the inner section of Londinium. "We could go to the Log Inn. I have taken respite there a numerous amount of times myself, and it is quite a good place. Come, I can show you all the way." He smiled, leading the party of eleven players towards a building with a warm, welcoming glow emanating from inside.
As they were walking towards the inn, Alette spoke up curiously. "So what is a strip club?" She looked around at all of the party members, waiting for an answer.
Dumah tried to ignore the matter and walked into the tavern known as the Log Inn and held the door open for all of the party members to walk in. Once they had, he'd walked in as well and smiled handsomely to the People of The Land who had been running the Log Inn, and those People of The Land who had also been acting as its courtesans. Dumah spoke loudly to the many People of The Land. "The Log Inn seems quite silent this night! What seems to be the issue my friends?" As he said this and struck a devilishly handsome grin or smile to each Person of The Land, the women fawned over him like meeting a celebrity of some sort. The men smiled and welcomed the black haired Half-Alv with a smile.
"Dumah Iino," one of the male Persons of The Land started, "you are as popular with the ladies as always I see." This Person of The Land and Dumah gripped each others' hands and exchanged smiles. The Person of The Land looked nervously to the mob of Adventurers brought in to the Log Inn, and spoke with a bit of a tremble in his voice. "Y-You've attracted quite a bit of business for my inn, my friend..."
Dumah smiled and gestured nonchalantly to the numerous adventurers who had accompanied Dumah. "Oh, what, surely you do not mean these folks? Ahahahah!! What ever do you mean 'quite a bit of business?' Surely this is nothing to compare with your average business day, my friend!" Dumah waved the humorous atmosphere away with his left hand under his chin. "All of that aside... We are planning on a bit of an adventure beginning on the morrow, and we thought we'd celebrate at your inn! Perhaps we could have a night's drinks free of charge?"
Despite the familiarity that was apparent between the Adventurer and the Person of The Land, the Person of The Land shook his head in decline. "No, I cannot offer you free drinks this night, I am afraid... You need to pay like everyone else, Dumah!"
Dumah gave an innocent expression and spoke in reply. "What's this, my dear friend? I was of course jesting!" Dumah managed to sneak his skill activation in his speech, the fluidity with which he did so was impressive to the other members of his party. "I merely wished to come celebrate in this tavern of yours which manages to Allure me so easily! I shall pay, do not worry, friend."
The Person of the Land smiled. "Heh, worry not of it, my friend. Aye, pay, but the rooms are on us tonight. I do presume you shall all be needing rooms, aye?"
Dumah grinned a bit, only noticeable if someone were looking closely. "Aye, my friend, we shall. We shall be needing separate lodgings for the men and women of our party. What is your biggest room?"
The Person of The Land looked through a book, which one could only assume was a business ledger. "At the moment, our largest room is occupied. However, we have four rooms which are capable of accommodating three people. Should be more than enough for your party of fine folk here."
Dumah smiled a bit, thinking on a name he'd been considering for a bit of time now. He decided to go with the name, partially in honor of the famous party of the Yamato Server. "You can refer to us all together as the Boston Tea Party."
The Person of The Land burst into laughter. "Ahahahahah! My, Mr. Iino, you truly are quite a witty fellow!" It seemed the People of The Land knew of the historical event this title was referencing.

With a soft sigh, Neon continued to toil over the large paper that he had sprawled out onto the table. The various parts of the map detailed the surrounding London Area, much more intricate then anything he could craft up. He scanned over every inch, memorising the contours and the turns and the landmarks, readying himself for when he would start working on his own map. He gently pressed his left index finger to the page on one of the landmarks described, his right index finger and thumb pressed against his temple as he stared at the landmark, analysing it in depth and putting it to memory. Leaning back in his chair, Neon decided to give the rest of the room a scan as well. The Log Inn. A modest establishment, not too big, but large enough for the average adventurer. Planting his hands on the edge of the table gently, he slid his chair back across the floor, giving himself room to stand up from the table. He gently smoothed out his cloth armour, standing up straight as he grasped his tankard and lifted off the table, before casually walking over to the to the Person of the Land working as the bartender for the establishment. "Another ale please," Neon spoke softly bartender, placing his empty tankard down on the bar counter for him to use. The bartender gave a grunt and a nod, grabbing the empty tankard from the counter and using his rag to clean it before turning to begin filling it with ale. Giving another soft sigh, Neon slipped the necessary gold onto the counter for the ale, before turning and leaning back on the bar counter, watching the rest of the tavern quietly. Hearing the sound of the filled tankard of ale being placed down on the counter, Neon turned back around, grasping it by the handle and giving a nod in thanks to the bartender as he lifted it up and stood up properly once again. Holding up the tankard carefully, doing his best not to spill, he began slowly walking back to his table, weaving his way through the other People of the Land that were sitting around. With a warm smile, he gave the ale a single sip before placing the tankard down behind the map that was still sprawled out. Neon, grasping the chair tightly and sliding it back out from under the table, sat himself down as before and returned to his studying, analysing the different sections of the map again so as to commit them deeper within his long and short term memory. This might be an interesting place to visit... This looks fascinating... What's this? Oh... Neon repeatedly thought to himself as he went over the various sections, nodding slowly to himself, and occasionally reaching out to grab his tankard and take a sip at it. As he continued to read from his map, his ears perked as he suddenly heard the door open. Not wanting to leave his map for anything at the time, he simply lifted his eyes up, looking over the rim of his glasses at the entrance as he watched a large group of people enter the tavern. People of the Land don't normally travel in such large groups unless it's a special occasion... Neon began to deduce, his hands rested on top of each other on the map as he lifted his head to watch them more closely. Adventurers... Players...His eyebrow raised as one of the players stepped forward, shouting out to the whole tavern. From the way he was talking to the People of the Land, it seemed like they were acquaintances at the least. Furthermore... Neon continued in his head, scanning the strange male with his gaze. He hasn't noticed me yet. He continued to watch the stranger as one of the Landers approached him, continuing the friendly chat, and shaking hands with him. From where Neon sat, he could just make out what they were saying. "No, I cannot offer you free drinks this night, I am afraid..." Neon heard the Person of the Land say, causing him to lean forward against his table as he attempted to hear what they were saying. Attempting it get free drinks? Interesting... Neon continued to think to himself, blinking a few times in surprise. This stranger must have considerable standing here... As the two of them finished their conversation, Neon decided to make himself seen, sliding back as he did before on his chair and standing up from his table, leaving his map and drink behind, but quickly grabbing his staff that he had left on one of the other chairs, holding it upright in his right hand. As he slowly walked over, his lips curled into a warm smile, as he gently tapped the end of his staff on the ground, imitating a walking stick. "That's alright," Neon spoke as he stepped out into the light. "I can pay for their drinks." He stopped beside the stranger that had led the group in, planting his staff on the ground with his right hand and extending his left out in greeting. "A large party like you guys deserves a break, before what will no doubt be a tough challenge ahead."

Alette voice caused the Fox Tail to look at the small sorcerer, the sight of her watery eyes almost break his heart but before he could say that he change his mind just to make the girl smile again, Myrddin intervene and Regina support his statement, catching a deep breath as he nod along to their statement, he let out a breath of relief as Dumah admit defeat before once again look up to the stars, laughing to his leader glitter comment.
“I don’t know,” He answers the druid. “I’ve been staring at the stars a lot back home, never took the time to learn the constellations.” He sighs before picking himself up and brushing off any dirt on him as Dumah lead the party towards the inn. Catching up with them, he looked at the inn they are about to enter.
‘Log Inn’ He chuckle to himself, he always enjoy a simple word play. Roughly examining the structure, he wonder if he could recreate it with his woodcrafter subclass as he too would like to have a business of his own one day, not knowing how long how he would be in this game, might as well adapt his dream here. His own shop… or inn… or… he might need to figure that out first, but still the words ‘his own shop’ made him smile. As he walked into the inn, he said his thanks to Dumah as he holds the door for him and the other party members before sitting down the nearest empty table as the swashbuckler entertain the room. Sitting down, he swipe his hand in front of him causing the user interface to open up, entering his stat windows, he looked at his merchant level and in his head he ran scenario after scenario on how his shop will be, imagining the different kind of customers he would have, maybe he would have a request table or booth somewhere in his shop for crafting request. Smiling, he looks around the inn, hoping to have an idea how to design his future shop.
Yawning, he let his fingers fiddle away with the interface; he unequipped his whip, and put it in his inventory before closing the windows in front of his vision and relaxes in his seat. ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- 381 | Word Count

"We could go to the Log Inn. I have taken respite there a numerous amount of times myself, and it is quite a good place. Come, I can show you all the way." Dumah offered as he altered his clothes, trading his adventuring gear for that of simpler comfort. Once the black haired man had finished his apparel change he treated them to a smile as he walked past the enchanter, leading them toward the establishment he called, the "Log Inn". With his back to Myrddin he couldn't possibly have seen him place is hand to his face and shake head. His shoulders shook softly, the only real sign of his laugh at the multitude of double-meanings the inn's name had. "Seriously? Oh man the developers had a field day with that one I bet." He smiled to himself; his affection for Elder Tale seemed to have no end. From the intricacies of character creation to the detail in the world down to even the sort of stupid puns he loved. With a slight shake of his head he wondered how it had taken him so long to give Elder Tale a shot. While Myrddin had decided to stay in his current attire he slid his finger across the empty air and summoned his windows for possibly the thousandth time today. With a couple flicks of his wrist he maneuvered to his equipment screen and unequipped his staff. Myrddin stood in place for a moment and stared at his hand. The immediate thought that crossed his mind was the unbalance he suddenly felt. His mind quickly replayed memories of his inability to walk when the Catastrophe initially occurred. It was an uncomfortable thought, so he quickly scrolled back in and re-equipped it. A moment later the comfortable weight of the staff had returned and his balance was restored.
So…that’s still a problem. He thought with huff as he adjusted his grip on the staff. Oh well, just means I have to be more careful. During his internal reassurance Myrddin decided to pull up the rear of the migrating party. The half-alv walked a meter behind the group, his attention almost completely focused on how he walked. He made mental notes of his strides and the differences that he could remember from how he moved in the real world. Or what he thought he could remember.
It’s been so long since then, can I even be sure my memory of it is accurate? He wondered, his staff making a soft *tunk* sound with the ground. So caught up in his thoughts and memories as he was the distracted enchanter fell behind as the group made their way into the inn. Dumah had held the door open for the group, he would have waited till everyone was inside before he let go. Guiltily, Myrddin waved him on as it took him another minute of two to reach the inn’s door.
The Log Inn was a simply styled building made of wood and stone. It didn’t have anything that stood out flamboyantly, unless you counted the intricate designs in the wood as such. It seemed as though everywhere you looked there were beautiful designs that Myrddin could only have described as tribal . The entrance door was illuminated by two sconces that flanked the door way; which, like the door itself, was carved from a heavy wood. The handle was made of metal, possibly iron and was in the shape of a lopsided S. Myrddin wrapped the fingers of his right hand around the handle, the faint warmth from the previous hand still lingered. With a pull the door opened and Dumah’s voice flowed from within. “You can refer to all of us as: the Boston Tea Party.” He said, which was apparently well received as a blusterous laughter filled the room. "My, Mr. Iino, you truly are quite a witty fellow!” A voice replied.
Myrddin stepped into the building just as a someone spoke up, “That’s alright,” a familiar voice said. “I can pay for their drinks.”
“You’ve got to be kidding me “ He chuckled as he noticed the speaker, a young man with vibrant blue hair and red rimmed glasses.
“A large party like you guys deserves a break before what will no doubt be a tough challenge ahead.”
The dark skinned man smiled. “And someone with your sense of curiosity wouldn't possibly be interested in tough challenges.” He stated, his words dripped with sarcasm as he moved around the door and the inn’s interior lighting. “Surely, that couldn’t be it."

After Kode, Kokkakku, and I finished saying our skill others started chiming in. After Myrddin wrote down their skills he asked if 'Ode of the Timid' was my only skill. "Sorry I totally forgot to tell you my other two. Silly me! My others are Elegant Act: Attack skill | An elegant attack that comes from a beautiful dance. As an attack it is average but upon use, it boosts the bard's evasion rate for a certain period of time so it is popular among front-line bards as it increases their survivability. One peculiarity about this skill is that the attack motions and dance are rather elaborate. When using a sword, it is like a sword dance, if a spear it will be used as a baton constantly twirling round and round at high speeds. There are different motions for every kind of weapon. The motions for the giant scythe would be to take the huge weapon and to spin it around like one would a pencil and is quite the sight to behold. The animation time of this skill is 3 seconds and its cooldown is 15 seconds. And the last one is Feedback Resonance: The Bard plays their instrument and causes a high-pitched feedback noise to resonate around the surrounding area. All opponents within three meters of the Bard are stunned for one second. This skill generates a moderate amount of aggro, but due to its nature, it might attract nearby hostile monsters. Be careful when using it in a high population area. This skill's debuff is classified as a Slow effect. This skill has a cooldown time of 10 seconds and a casting time of 3 seconds. Any opponents affected by this skill's stunning effect cannot be stunned again by the same skill for thirty seconds." I quoted the skill descriptions. "Oh, my party bonus skill increases critical hit chance by 5%." After that more people said their skills. Mokusu asked if we had even seen so many stars and said that it was like glitter. I smiled at him and looked up. He was right, it did look like glitter. I was looking at the stars for a while and paid no attention to people talking. Then I noticed someone say drinks. I immediately looked and the party and noticed they were talking about heading to an inn. I realized that they wanted to rest before the adventure. Dumah then suggested the Log Inn which he had been to many times. When I heard the name Log Inn I chuckled. I had always thought bad puns were the best puns. He showed us the way there and when it came into view it had a very worm and welcoming presence. Once we got there Dumah held the door for us. I thanked him and stepped inside. It was very homely inside the inn and I looked around the room. Dumah started talking to one of the People of the Land while I was looking. I noticed a person with blue hair sitting at one of the tables looking at us. I smiled to him in a way that said "Nice to meet you." when I looked back to Dumah to tell him I saw an interesting person I noticed he was trying to get free drinks. The person who he was talking to said that we couldn't. Then I noticed that Dumah slipped the name Allure into his next sentence and realized that he used his courtesan skill. We have to pay for drinks but the rooms are free. I thought this was a very good deal. He said to put the name of the room owners to Boston Tea Party. I smiled at this. after Dumah was done talking the blue haired person I saw before walked up to us and told us that he would pay for the drinks. I was surprised but then he said "A large party like you guys deserves a break, before what will no doubt be a tough challenge ahead." I smiled and said. "Thanks! Why don't you come drink with us!" Without a seconds thought I invited him to drink with us. He was paying for our drinks after all. We then arrived at the table and I sat down quickly. I had been a while since the last time I drank. Without hesitation I quickly ordered some ale for myself. When it arrived I took a big gulp and said. "This ale is great Dumah! You should have brought us here earlier."

After I told them my skills Myrddin was surprised I had so many at such a low level. I simply smiled at him. Then Kokkakku said his skills followed by Dumah, Alette, and the others. Afterwords Mokusu asked if we have ever seen so many stars. Personally I didn't care that much but Crimson was gazing at the sky while smiling. The conversation then went in the direction of rest. Dumah and Alette were apposed to the idea but everyone else agreed that it would be the best decision. Dumah then said we should go to an inn and if anyone wanted to suggest one. Nobody wanted to suggest one so we ended up going to an inn colled the Log Inn. I didn't much care for the name and thought it was a bit lazy. After Dumah suggested that inn he said drinks were on him. At this Crimson's eyes were sparkling. We started heading towards the inn with Dumah leading us. I noticed that Myrddin was walking about half a meter behind everyone else while staring at his feet. I was a bit curious as to what he was doing but it would be rude to ask so I withheld my question. Once we got to the inn it was quite homely. After we reached the door Dumah held it open for us. I thanked him as I passed by. I looked around the room quickly to get a feel for the place. I noticed a blue haired person but I didn't find him very interesting and only looked at him for a second before moving on. Once everyone was in Dumah started talking with someone who looked to be in charge of this inn. He tried to get us free drinks but couldn't. He got us free rooms though so I guess his efforts paid off. I was surprised when he used his Allure skill and saw a small smile on his face. He then said the manager could put the rooms under the name Boston Tea Party. I thought this was a good name and smiled when I heard it. I was always fascinated by the Debauchery Tea Party that were on the Japanese server. After that the blue haired person walked up to us and offered to pay for our drinks. everyone looked happy after he offered and Crimson invited him to drink with us. He has always been a friendly person. We then walked to the table and sat down. Crimson immediately ordered ale and said it was good. I have never been much of a drinker so I decided to just have some water.

After I told everyone my skills I ducked back into the shadows. After everyone else had recited their skills they started talking about heading to an inn for the night. I just stayed in the shadows and watched this play out. They seem to have forgotten about me. Good. After they started heading towards the inn I followed them while still in the shadows. I was jumping from rooftop to rooftop doing flip mid-air and rolling when I landed. I really love parkour. After they reached the inn Dumah was holding the door for everybody. I thought that was a way too obvious entrance so I jumped onto the roof of the inn and searched for a different way in. After a bit of searching I found a window and climbed through it. I ended up inside one of the rooms and luckily it was empty. I then excited the room and walked down the stairs to the bar area. When I got down them I saw a blue haired person telling them that he would pay for their drinks. After he told them that everyone's faces lit up and Crimson, being the nice person he is, invited the blue haired person to drink with them. I was suspicious of the blue haired person so I stayed back still. When they got to the table Crimson ordered ale immediately and said it was good. Kode who wasn't much of a drinker ordered some water. I decided to go to the table now. Once I got there everyone was surprised and I just face palmed. I sat down and ordered ale. Crimson said it was good and I trust him. Once the ale got here I took a sip. It was really good.

A blue haired, red-rim glasses-clad man walked up to Dumah and his newly named Boston Tea Party. He spoke to the Person of The Land that Dumah had been conversing with not long ago. "I can pay for their drinks," he stated. He seemed a kind man, and Crimson and I cordially invited him to drink with us. As we all made our way to the table, Kokkakku was already there, awaiting all of us. Despite everyone else's shock, Dumah had a feeling he would try to pull something like this. Staying hidden, yet still in the party, Dumah deduced that Kokkakku was simply staying out of sight as opposed to actually leaving them.
"Nice of you to rejoin us, Kokkakku." Dumah nonchalantly sat at the table with a tankard of ale. Alette joined him, sitting immediately to his right. She had been given water as well - after all, the Person of The Land could not give a minor alcohol without feeling guilty. Dumah drank from his tankard, and as all of the members of the Boston Tea Party sat down, Dumah extended a party invite to Neon. After this was accepted, Dumah smiled and stood, raising his tankard to the level of his head. "My friends! If I may, I'd like to propose a small toast! To all of us joined here today! To the kind man paying for our drinks! To the People of The Land who made this little pre-celebration possible! To the luck we had in being involved in the Apocalypse, even though some of us may consider it ill luck. And finally, lastly, to the joint efforts we shall all make together as friends tomorrow in clearing the Windsor Castle!" Raising his glass a bit more in celebration, he continued. "Onwards to victory and prosperity, my friends!" Feeling successful in bringing together a worthy party, he smiled brightly and let out a phrase he loved, from the Latin language. "Vae victis!!" He drank a large swig of ale as Alette gave a rousing cheer at the end of Dumah's little speech. He smiled and sat down once again.
Alette looked at him a bit curiously. "What's the Apocapops?" She looked confused, and not due to her fumble of words. It seemed she did not hear of the naming of the event, which after being oblivious to the status of resurrection, made sense.
Dumah smiled as he answered her question. "The Apocalypse is what everyone has been calling the day all of us Adventurers appeared in this world." He was referring to what everyone knew as the Apocalypse, yet Alette presumed he meant what was known as the beginning of the Beta Session for Elder Tale. She smiled brightly, accepting this incorrect answer.
"Then I think it's great luck!" She naively said.

Neon backed up a bit at the overwhelming smiles and grins and greetings that he was receiving from the party. Clearly I was right about the free drinks, he thought to himself as he composed himself, standing up straight and giving a smile back to them. Taking back his left hand, he smoothed out the cloth of his armour, a measly starter armour but armour all the same. He looked down at himself quickly, checking his armour in case he had spilled some of his ale on himself, before lifting his head back up and giving another smile. “And someone with your sense of curiosity wouldn't possibly be interested in tough challenges.” Hearing a familiar voice, Neon turned his head to face the source. "Well well, fancy meeting you here." He chuckled softly, giving Myrddin a polite and soft wave in greeting. "My curiosity may have gotten the best of me, that is true..." He let out a soft sigh, shaking his head before turning back to the rest of the group, mainly the ones that had greeted him. Once greeting was done, he blinked in surprise as two of them invited him to drink with them. I must have made a good impression, he concluded in his head, before giving yet another joyful smile and nodding excitedly. "I'd be happy to join you for drinks," he replied softly, turning on his heel and lifting his staff off the ground, before striding back over to his table, looking over his shoulder to gesture to the others to follow him. As they arrived, he scratched his scalp through his hair with his free hand, realising there wouldn't be room at the single table, as it only fitted six. "Give me one moment."He quickly laid his staff down across the table, patting it gently before heading over to a second one that was nearby, grabbing it with both hands and pulling hard on it, slowly shuffling it over to them with all his strength. He released it, waving his hands frantically in front of him, checking for any splinters, before rushing over to the opposite side and grasping it again, this time pushing on it. Eventually, with enough strength, he was able to move the second table until it was joined to the first. Standing up straight, he dusted his hands off as he approached the chairs left behind, moving them back over and placing them around the two tables. Once that was done, he rushed over to his original seat, rolling up the map he had splayed out on the table and putting it down on the ground, leaning it against the table. "Sorry about that, was practising my Pathfinder when you guys came in here," he noted nervously, patting the map before reaching out over the table and grabbing the staff in his left hand, a little wobbly given he was right-handed. He pulled it back up off the table and rested it against the table beside the map. With everything moved off the table except his drink, he took in a few deep breaths, calming his nerves, before slowly sliding his seat out from under the table and sitting down in it, shuffling it back closer to the table. He reached out and grabbed his tankard of ale, sipping at it happily and watching as the others sat down at the table, one of them already there it would seem. It was then that Neon noticed the girl, who sat beside the black-haired stranger from before. Looking at her, he waited a few seconds for her information to pop up, but blinked in surprise as all he got was... well, nothing. He scratched his scalp once again, utterly confused, but profusely curious. She might be on private... He deduced, though he couldn't say for sure. She seemed to be closely linked with the stranger. Which reminded him... "Where are my manners, I haven't introduced myself," He noted with a soft chuckle. "I'm Neon. A pleasure to meet you all." As he said this, he turned to each person seated at the table and gave them a curt nod in greeting. Sipping at his ale slowly, he blinked in surprise as he was given a party invite, smiling warmly and lowering his drink so that he could accept. He placed his tankard on the table, taking a break from his drink for a bit to mingle, but it would seem Dumah had other plans. He nodded slowly, sighing as he took up his drink and lifted it into the air in reply to the toast. "Here here!"Watching curiously, he listened to the conversation between Dumah and the girl, noticing her confusion at the word Apocalypse. Before he could finally address the girl, his mind backtracked to something Dumah had said earlier. "Did you say Windsor Castle?" He asked lightly, tilting his head to emphasise his question. "Because if that's where you're headed..." He looked around and counted the number of people in the group in his head. "You may be disappointed to find you have too many people..." He snaps his fingers, realising a better alternative. "You could do the Mansion of Purple Mirrors instead!"

Swashbuckler - Gardener - Chef ____________________________________________________Guess I Should Try To Interact... "Well... that was rather embarrassing..." His words as he entered the Log Inn, heading to the bar without really even noticing the large crowd in there, taking the background noise to be the People of the Land. "I got my first couple of kills in the wild, and get my butt dusted quite viciously by the same mob I was killing..." A heavy British accent came out of this 6'2" Half-Alv Swashbuckler. He was only marked as such by the two Rapiers he wore on his leather belt. He was quite an oddity in the establishment itself, black clothing and white hair... he gave a sigh as he sat at the counter. "I should probably find a group and level with them for a while... but at the same time, it's tough for me to talk to people, let alone ask them if I can join them for a party..." He seemed to be lamenting to himself as his right hand went to grip his limp left arm tightly, a face of relief as if glad that he could grip the arm. INVENTORY

Regina had taken a seat at the offered table, someone, apparently a random player opted to pay for their drinks, she would shake her head and thought he might regret that later, she guessed some of these 'men' were actually boys and would try to over indulge. Which got her curious, water and food did the same thing in the real world... would that apply to alcohol? Which got her down the line of thinking rather biological and unappetizing thoughts. She shivers and decides to look at the menu, the barkeep more than happy to offer his stock to such a large party. She would order some elven wine, never really trying anything, but since she is an elf, might as well try it. She would watch him serve it in a small silver goblet, she would nod her thanks and take her drink to sit at the table with the rest of them, opening up a friends list, she would scroll through the list to see most of them were offline, which was both a good thing and a bad th- wait, there is someone on! She set her drink down and took a look at it. A guardian. Just what they needed.
She would then bring her attention back to the table upon hearing the line about them having too many party members. She'd look around at one another and then softly put her fist into her palm. "Of course, there probably is a size limit to dungeons, though I wonder, do they have a raid mode or a difficulty setting?" She would ask, looking to Dumah and this new man, Neo, Newb, Neon.. something like that. "Purple mirrors? Pray tell, what exactly is this dungeon and it's specs?" She would ask, leaning forward slightly, her curls giving a slight 'wobble'. She would look into his eyes, as if trying to stare him down, trying to pierce him for information. Being a scholar, she felt it was her duty to find out as much as she could, plus it was always useful and lucrative to know more than others.
She waited for him to explain what this new dungeon was, taking a sip of her wine, it had the distinct taste of alcohol, it sucked she didn't like liquor that much, but what was she going to do, ask for a strawberry daiquiri? She would look to him while her free hand went to typing something just a few inches above the table. She would send the private message to Dumah, with a message 'If we can squeeze in anymore people, I might have a Guardian who would be able to join us, though she is only level one.' She would send it off and then continue to listen to the 'blue boy'. If there was a dungeon were a party mostly made of 'newbies' could go and not wipe, that would be fantastic. Especially a party as big as theirs. Seriously, it almost felt like half of the server was accompanying them.
Word Count: 505 OOC: This party is getting so HUGE! There should be a low level raid dungeon we all can go to lol.

Dumah let out a bit of a laugh. "At this point, I could see our Boston Tea Party becoming the Unfounded Kingdom's equivalent to the Debauchery Tea party! Well, here's to prosperity, friends!" He chugged the last of the drink in his tankard and let it down with a soft slam. He turned to the Elven woman who offered to bring her Guardian friend in, and with a friendly smile, he spoke. "A Guardian, you say? Hmm..." With that, Dumah looked around the table to realize their parties were full of DPS players and Support players, and they had no Tanks - only Off Tanks such as the Monk. He sighed and smiled to the woman. "Yes! We would be more than thankful if you would be able to convince her to help us in our adventure." In his chair, Dumah gave a formal bow in appreciation. "We can leave tomorrow; say the crack of noon? We can get some last minute preparations out of the way, we can meet up with your Guardian friend, and with luck: More defenders shall join our party." He called over a female Person of The Land, whom then came over with a smile as Dumah shined his handsome smile at her, holding his emptied tankard toward her. "A refill please, my dear." He spoke in a charming voice as he smiled and offered a wink to the Person of The Land. Dumah truly did tend to get a bit too into character with his Courtesan subclass. The Person of The Land smiled and took his tankard, going to refill his cup. As she did this, Dumah smiled back to his party and spoke to them with a bit of excitement in his voice. "I hope one day we truly can become powerful enough to be on the level of the Debauchery Tea Party. I look forward to that day..." Smiling, Dumah jokingly imitated a certain Yamato player, infamous for his harsh tactics, (These tactics however were what Dumah respected of the player) and pushed up the nose of his bridge, as if adjusting glasses.

Post by Kogeki on Nov 14, 2014 19:25:58 GMT
Today... Today really hadn't been much of a good one for the samurai known as Kogeki. After all, today was the day that he realized that, like a fool, he'd spent all his coin in an attempt to stay as far away from the outside world as possible. A full month in an inn, food and drink, a place to sleep, these things didn't come cheap. He didn't ration anything, either. So after a couple hours of cowering in the corner of a dark Londinium alley, he'd come to the point that he understood one very important thing:
Unless he got out there and started earning his keep, he was screwed, starved, and bound to die in the mud. What would Marco Rivaille do? Keep cowering. Kogeki, on the other hand...
He'd forced himself out into the sunshine and started hunting. Usually people posted things for new people to join up in, and in this, Kogeki hadn't been disappointed. Flyers saying that someone wanted to gather up a party and go out to places unknown.
"Dumah, huh...?" He whispered quietly to himself. "Maybe he's good enough to keep people alive. Maybe he's got enough people..." He wasn't convinced. Yet the pang of hunger in his stomach drove him forward.
When he arrived at the original meeting place and saw it empty, he'd lost hope again. He started wandering again.
"Maybe someone'll pay," he said wistfully. Then he snorted and shook his head. Was anyone actually that kind?...
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Time passed, and suddenly Kogeki found himself in front of yet another inn.
"The Log Inn?... Really?" He muttered. Ha-ha. MMO Puns. So super fun-times. "Wonder if it's so funny now that nobody can actually Log Out."
Then he pushed the door open and saw that there was a massive number of people in there. A quick glance showed him what he needed to know; their dress, their colors, their weapons. These were all adventurers. And that meant a party. Was it the one he'd been looking for? Probably not, but it'd serve regardless. All he had to do was act the part.
So he shut the door. He took a deep breath, squared his shoulders. He plastered a grin on his face and went into his menu to equip the nodachi he never used, and rested it comfortably on his shoulder. With Kogeki's brave mask comfortably placed over Marco Rivaille's fearful soul, he reached out, and pushed on the door with all his strength, trying to go for the whole dramatic-slamming-door entrance.
"Who here wishes to go on an adventure!?"

Dumah, already a tad bit tipsy from the ale he'd been slowly indulging himself in, looked to the boisterous man who gave a dramatic entrance. He gave a small raise of his tankard towards the man as a gesture towards him. "Calm down, friend. And take all of that Adventuring gear off; this is an inn, not an arena!" Dumah took another drink of his ale. "Anyways, if you are looking for adventure, you can join us! We're planning to go on a Raid tomorrow." Dumah set his cup down and walked up to the warrior who had just entered the Log Inn. He smiled and extended his left hand. "The name's Dumah. Dumah Iino. Swashbuckler, Tailor, Courtesan, and party leader of the Boston Tea Party. Please, tell me, what is your name?" Dumah staggered only slightly as he walked. He presumed the man might think him weak or washed up due to his slight stagger. "Ignore the stupor; we're indulging in a pre-celebration of sorts." Dumah gave the man a friendly smile.
As Dumah made his way to the warrior, he was joined by the young sorceress girl who seemed to be so closely attached to him. She smiled and hugged Dumah's waist gently, smiling an adorable smile to the Samurai who'd entered. "Daddy's really strong! We'd love you to join our party, mister!" This was followed by a brighter smile and an adorable, childish giggle.
Dumah smiled at her and gently rubbed the top of her head affectionately with his right hand before looking back to the Samurai he'd offered a party to. "She's right; we'd love to have you."

PING!
There was a notification on her contacts list. Liliane aka Titania wiped some sweat from her brow, the training dummy she had been working out on's head suddenly fell to the floor as she then tucked her rapier away and swiped her fingers through the air, opening the menu and then the list, looking to the person who contacted her. Did any of her friends get trapped too? She admitted she sort of wished at least one or two did, it was quite lonely sometimes. She would look to the menu and tilt her head. Regina. Who was that again? Liliane would think over it for a second, leaning back to lean against a nearby wall. "Oh yes, the druid, she was a friend of a friend. Huh, didn't think she added me to her contact list. This is a surprise, what does she want?"
She read through the message, much too flowery with the language for her tastes but she got through it finally. It seemed she had been introduced into a party that was expanding with up to twelve members and that they were in desperate need of a tank or two. Which made the Guardian smirk. FINALLY a chance to show off her moves, she had been in a few groups before hand, but nothing really 'stuck'. It seemed tanks were in short supply but in high demand in this world. Something she had been told was quite common in most MMO's. "Better to be needed than to be forgotten." She shrugged to herself and then looked to the message again. A place called 'Log Inn', cute, man some of these developers needed a guide in proper jokes. She would tap her chin and then try to plot her course, walking her way around the starter zone, she would yank a random passerby, thankfully it was a pathfinder and scribe. She convinced him to show her on her map where exactly that was. It was some distance away, but she would make it there in time she figured.
She began to walk her way there, till she met a person of the land, this world's version of NPC's, she would offer a few coins for a ride and hopped up into the bale of hay in the back, letting her legs kick over the edge of it as she thought to herself, her sword and shield next to her in the soft hay. "Now if I get there and there's nothing but squishies again I am going to be a little annoyed." She would look to the message again and sighed, it was a large party, yes. But it was a large party seemingly made up of newbies. Liliane would have to be on her best behavior though if they did anything stupid she would let them know.
Liliane would make her way towards the inn, after around an hours travel and then thanking the man for the ride. She would slowly open the door and make her way into the inn. Her long pale brown hair swayed about her as she walked, her armor seemed to glint and shimmer in the light. She would spot Regina and wave to her, making her way to sit next to her. She was still a little hesitant to trust the... she would look her over a second, stat wise, Druid. She would begin to talk with her, wondering who the leader was and what classes were exactly in the group already. Regina already had a list ready for her and showed it off. Liliane let out a low whistle and looks to Regina, giving her a 'really?' look. Liliane would then look to the already tipsy leader, Dumah and tilted her head, already beginning to question his leadership abilities. "Er... it.. is nice to meet you." She says and extends a hand towards him. "I am Titania, Guardian with Shield Bash, Anchor Howl and Aura Saber. So I can dish out some damage if the need arises. Also I am a skilled bodyguard and brewer. And I would be happy to assist you and your group. Though... where are we heading that would allow a group as big as our's?"
Sure, she did not know ALL of the exact gaming terminology, but she did know basic tactics and what she lacked in in-game experience, she made up for in real world experience, she looked around the table, wondering if any of them ever had any real sword training.

"Calm down, friend. And take all of that Adventuring gear off; this is an inn, not an arena!"
Kogeki is at least conscious enough to look sheepish at Dumah's statement, and at least has the decency to carefully shut the door behind him, making sure it's slow and quiet. The nodachi is sheathed and secured onto his back. However, his armor... Well, it's not like he actually has anything else to wear, but how exactly does one say that?... By ignoring it, obviously. Instead, the pink-haired samurai's expression brightens as Dumah mentions they are, indeed, looking for someone to join them.
"A raid group? Excellent! This is most fortuitous." The offered hand is taken warmly, and given a vigorous shake. "And you are Dumah? I had seen your poster, and have been hunting for you all the morn. I thought you lost! Indeed, this cannot be mere happenstance, but the divine hand of providence that has lead me to you. I would add my sword to your party post-haste, with your permission."
It's only when the little girl speaks that Kogeki releases Dumah's hand, and looks down upon her with a happy smile. If there's one thing that both Kogeki and Marco adore, it is adorable things. Thus, he goes on one knee, bowing his head and resting his fist on the floor--the very image of a samurai swearing fealty to the lovely princess.
"And you must be the princess fair of this tale. I am honored to meet you, ojou-sama. Might I ask your name?" How unfortunate, he only needs a flower to complete this whole hammy persona. It's a wonder he hasn't mutated into cheese by now.

Dumah gave a smile to the Samurai, enjoying his formal speech. For a moment, Dumah was concerned that he might have been the only one to speak in such a manner, but Kogeki's way of speaking dashed that thought. Kogeki bowed down to Alette, giving a charming performance. As a fellow actor - and often times, Roleplayer - Dumah liked seeing this. However, as a father in the real world, and now in Elder Tale, he forced himself to hide his slight anger. He cleared his throat and gave a false smile to Kogeki. "Well, I had never expected my daughter to be courted at such a young age. Ahahah!" His eye made a slight twitch that was only visible to Kogeki. Dumah gently ruffled the hair of the now rose cheeked half-Alv young girl and smiled. "This is Alette, my daughter. She's a Sorceress."
Alette gave a smile and nervously bowed to her suitor, a slight tremble in her voice. "A-Alette Caellius, sir." She smiled gently.
As this played out, Dumah heard a woman's voice behind him saying it was nice to meet him. He turned around to see her hand extended towards him, which he took and shook firmly and kindly as she introduced herself. "It is a pleasure to meet you, Titania! I presume you are Regina's friend? The Guardian she mentioned. Well, as I mentioned before: It is my pleasure to meet you! At the moment, we are not sure where we shall head, but we are considering the Mansion of Purple Mirrors."

OOC: I was talking with Dwarf, and he said there are no official Raids. However, we could make up our own, and we might be able to get a mod to approve of it and help us run it. If we run the Raid without a Mod, we won't get any bonus rewards. However, if we do, we will get... Well, bonus rewards... Not really sure what... Kind of hoping for a neat cloak or something unique, something that eventually just... Becomes a part of me. Think Kirito's unique skill, but an item.

Swashbuckler - Gardener - Chef ____________________________________________________Wait... Adventurers, not People of the Land? Sotarou's face went stiff as he realized just what had been said... blinking a bit and almost afraid to turn around, he did so ever so gently and slowly so as not to draw attention to himself... and there they were, quite a large number of Adventurers... QUITE a lot of them... looking at all of them, they ALL were Adventurers... so many people in one place... his breathing was catching in his chest, his right hand clutched his left arm tightly and his face was contorted with slight fear, an anxiety attack... after a few seconds, he started a bit and closed his eyes, counting backwards from 20 all the way to 1, by which time he looked alot calmer. Taking a deep breath and releasing it, he looked around for the leader of this group. Short story, it wasn't hard to find him. Loud and boisterous as he was, talking about his 'party.' The Boston Tea Party... the name of that actually gave him a twitch of a grin as he actually had distant family who were a part of that historical event... though he never talked about it. He took another deep breath as he roused all of his courage and stood up, heading over to the Leader of the group, the marker denoting his name as 'Dumah.' He cleared his throat when he approached, and put his best manners forward, catching the guy in eye-contact before speaking. "A pleasure to make your acquaintance, sir." Heavy British accent spilled from this 6'2" Half-Alv Swashbuckler, for only known by the two Rapiers fastened to his belt. "Allow me to introduce myself. I am Sotarou, up-and-coming Swashbuckler." He folded his right hand across his sternum before bowing to the guy. He dare not use the guy's name in a sentence until he had properly introduced himself as well. All this while, Sotarou's left arm seemed to dangle quite uselessly against his side, as if it were a dead limb. "I could not help but overhear that you were planning up an ace party. Playing solo's been kind of a dog's breakfast for me... hard lines ever since I've been stuck in this bloomin' world. So I would fancy joining your party if you'll have me." Aaaand he did it again... when he was nervous, he started using British slang... he'd be lucky here, since most of these people would hopefully be British anyway... but it was still a bad habit he didn't like to do if he could avoid it. Suddenly a man came in from the door and certainly made an entrance. He said. "Who here wishes to go on an adventure!?" I raised my glass and said. "I dooooo" I was completely drunk at this point. then from behind Dumah a woman walked up and extended her hand. I assumed she was Regina's friend. She asked where we were going but nobody really knew for sure. I then ran up to her put my arm around her shoulder and said. "Welcome to the teammm." I said while I leaned on her. I guess I was being a bit inappropriate but the drunk me didn't notice. Then Kode walked up to me and dragged me back to the table saying. "That's enough of that." I was being dragged by the back of my collar and it was rather unpleasant. "Kodeeeee why ya gotta be like that. It was all good and fun!" I was the most drunk there and everybody was looking at me. I then sat down next to Neon and said. "EYYYYYYY It's BLUE BOY! Come ere you." I then proceeded to hug him. He tried to push me off but I had a firm grip on him. Then I looked back at the entrance and saw that a samurai was kneeling in front of Alette. I let go of Neon and walked over. "How's it goin kneeling man." I then tried to squat beside him but failed and fell a bit. "Ow!" I landed straight on my face. Then my hat fell off. I searched for it like I had lost my glasses and couldn't see anything. I finally grabbed it and shakily stood up. I then introduced my self and bowed. "I am Crimson Blood but you can call me Crimson." I then fell down again. Kode walked up, apologized for me and took me back to the table. I sat beside Kokkakku this time and tried to hug him but he just dissapeared and I fell onto his chair. I sat up wondering where he went then went and hugged the closest person to my which unfortunately was Mokusu. As I hugged him I pet his fluffy ears and said. "Shhhh now Mokusu papa Crimson's here now." He gave me a weird look and tried to push me off but like Neon I held him tightly. I then passed out while still giving him a death hug.

OOC: I loved pretending to be drunk XD. Also it would be awesome to create a new dungeon specifically for us and get bonus stuff. Like Dumah it would be awesome to get a piece of equipment that becomes part of my character. Also(yes a second also) I think the dungeon should have something to do with fancy suits. You read that correctly. Fancy Suits

"Well well, fancy meeting you here." Neon chuckled softly and offered his fellow enchanter with a wave. "My curiosity may have gotten the best of me, that is true..." he shook his head with a sigh before he turned to address those that greeted him. Dumah and Crimson had extended an invitation for him to join them for drinks, to which Neon was eager to accept. Myrddin watched with a smile as his friend and party members moved to his table. After a moment of two the azure haired youth had cleared his table and placed a second table to offer more room for other members to join them.
He could hear a myriad of conversations from the congregation of adventurers. Regina even joined and spoke with Dumah. The details of their conversation was lost in the overflow of voices that reverberated in the small confines of the inn. Myrddin sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose with his right hand. "Right...that's great." He groaned as he turned and approached the bar. The bar was a simple wooden construct but like the rest of the inn's interior it was decorated with glorious carvings and engravings. The enchanter took a moment to observe and appreciate the craftsmanship before he pulled a stool away from the bar.
A stocky, dark skinned man stood behind the counter top and ran an old cloth over a wet tankard. He had a bald head with a few noticeable scars on his dome. Heavy brows of dark grey hung over his closed eyes like storm clouds. The man looked as if he could scare a grizzly with a look. Myrddin decided he might not want to be sassy with him. If the barkeep knew he was there he didn't let it show. After a moment of silence Myrddin cleared his throat in order to get his attention. The barkeep didn't speak, a single grunt was how he replied as he continued to dry the tankard. I think that tankard is dry enough, bud. He thought as he sat down. "Excuse me, I was wondering if I could get a pint." Myrddin stated as the barkeep ran the cloth over the tankard a couple more times before he placed it onto the counter top and nodded and vanished into the back room. Huh...I didn't even tell him what kind.
It took a few minutes for the Lander to return and when he did he slid a tankard of dark ale in front of the adventurer. With a nod Myrddin ceased the tankard in his right hand and lifted it to his lips. The initial aroma of the brew was faint yet the taste was amazing. It was warm and hoppy but with the right amount of ingredients to make Myrddin cry tears of delicious joy. During his first pull the door to the inn opened and someone stepped inside. "Who here wishes to go on an adventure!?" He heard the new person ask, rather noisily.
Myrddin lowered his drink to the counter top and turned half way around on the stool and saw the stranger. A man with pink hair, dressed in the starter samurai armor with a large katana-like blade in hand. "Hell's bells..." he groaned and turned back around to his brew. "just how big is this party going to be?" He wondered as he heard Dumah say something to the new comer but cared little as to what it was. He took another pull from his tankard as the door opened and shut once more. This time he refused to turn around but soon heard someone else speak, no doubt to the embodiment of courtesan skill himself. He did overhear the word guardian, whcih peaked his interest but still he refused to look.
"Does it get like this often?" The half-alv asked the barkeep as he ran the fingers of his right hand through his dreads. The barkeeper grunted once as he placed another tankard down on the counter top and walked to the backroom once again. Myrddin sighed, "I don't much blame you there." He mumbled and took another long pull from his tankard. Behind him he could hear an overly flowery speech addressed to the wee-one. To which Dumah followed up with calling her his "daughter". Myrddin had no qualms with people considering other people family, but the fact it was so soon seemed to bother him. The enchanter slowly twisted his staff back and forth in his fingers as another voice chimed in near the others. This one was a swashbuckler with some prior combat experience and a thick English accent.
Myrddin pinched the bridge of his nose again and sighed, "That makes sixteen players now. That's three groups." He muttered to himself. "A scribe in each group to make sure none get lost, should we lose track of each other. The third party would have to be a hybrid group of support and offense. The tank would go into Dumah's group..." With a swipe of his hand Myrddin summoned his menu and began going over the party roster. "Alette and Verin should make way for the samurai and guardian, and take up position in the third group for dps, along side the new swashbuckler. And Neon also should be in the third group for added support coverage." He thought aloud as he drained the last of his tankard.
