As the night progressed more things started to happen. Firstly three more people were going to join in on the raid, it would now require three parties. Secondly Crimson was getting really drunk. He never could win a fight between alcohol and his willpower. He started walking towards one of the new people. A Guardian. I guessed that she was Regina's friend. He then put his arm around her and said "Welcome to the team" while leaning on her. He was already so drunk that he was slurring his words. I walked up to him and started dragging him by the back of his collar while saying "That's enough of that" He complained but I just ignored him and kept walking. I looked back at the Guardian and she had a look that said "Thank you." After we got back to the table he sat down beside Neon. He then proceeded to call him "Blue Boy" and hug him. He tried to push him off but Crimson was holding him tight. He then got up seeing the person who barged through the door kneeling in front of Alette. The man who barged in was a samurai and was going to be a helpful asset. Provided that they were competent. Crimson walked over to him tried to kneel, fell down, his hat came off, then he frantically looked for a hat like a blind man. He finally grabbed it, got up, bowed and introduced himself. He surprisingly didn't slur when introducing himself and I thought that the fall had sobered him up, but of course it didn't. He then fell from the bowing position straight onto his face. I decided I should stop this crazy ensemble of stupidity so I walked up said while giving them a charming smile. "I am sorry about him he has had a little too much to drink" I then brought him back to the table and, fearing the same thing would happen if I sat him down next to Neon, sat him down in between me and Kokkakku. He tried to hug Kokkakku but he disappeared and Crimson fell onto the chair he was sitting on. He then looked around dumbfounded and then saw Mokusu. He lunged at him and gave him a big hug. He then whispered something into Mokusu's ear while stroking them. Then he passed out. I decided I have had enough of this and wen't to the bar. I wasn't planning on ordering something I just wanted to get away from the crowd for a bit. I noticed that Myrddin was sitting there talking to himself. He said. "That makes sixteen players now. That's three groups." He was muttering but I could clearly hear him. He continued talking to himself by saying. "A scribe in each group to make sure none get lost, should we lose track of each other. The third party would have to be a hybrid group of support and offense. The tank would go into Dumah's group..." He then made a motion with his finger and pulled up the menu. He then said. "Alette and Verin should make way for the samurai and guardian, and take up position in the third group for dps, along side the new swashbuckler. And Neon also should be in the third group for added support coverage." I then joined him at the bar and, while smiling, said. "You're quite the strategist. If you need any help just ask."

The Fox Tail started to dozed off in his seat as one of the waitress come towards his way, with a loud ‘tug’ as he set the mug to his table, the Fox Tail eyes flutter open. Shaking his head to wake himself up, he look up to the woman lander who just brought his ale, “Umm, if is ok, I’ll just have water please.” With a smile, she picks up the mug she had recently put down and walk to the bar, exchanging the alcoholic beverage with warm water before returning back to him. Saying his thanks and his best smile, the Fox Tail proceed to sip slowly on his water as he looks around the various things happening around him, as if he is an audience to a circus final act, without the aweing and applaud.
Sitting down and socialise with people he had just met wasn’t one of his best bit and mostly in this situation he would try to not let his light smile fade as his surrounding was having fun. Relaxing again on his chair and closing his eyes, he let the sound of the inn tavern surrounds him, the occasion door banging as people exit or enter the inn caused him to look towards it every so often. A few lander and adventurer has exit the room as it get crowded and a few more adventurer and landers had enter it, possibly to call it a day and relax just as they were or to rent a room for the night so they could grab a head start early tomorrow for whatever they were doing.
Stretching his arms up, the Fox Tail was about to call it a night seeing as he has never stay up this late before a red figured comes towards him, his motions was drowsy but Mokusu ignored him as he was about to stand up but was pushed back down as the red figured hugged him tight. Letting out a yelp to his surprise, he looks at the figured, it was Crimson Blood, he relax and try to push the bard away. The bard, still latched to the Fox Tail, however start petting his ears, his hands was warm but what follow next as the bard whisper what seems to be comforting words caused the Fox Tail to tense up. Mokusu, himself, was a hugger, and since he had entered this world, hugs was rare as he was all alone. Ignoring the words of the red bard he returned the hug, a sudden warmth fill up his heart as it used to when he annoyed his friends by hugging them from the back whenever they see each other. He had miss this, and after a few seconds passed, he heard snoring coming from the bard, sighing he unlatch himself from the death grip of the bard before supporting him with his body by putting Crimson’s hands on his shoulder.
Aiding the bard as he move towards Dumah, “Hey, someone got a bit too much,” the Fox Tail said as he lightly hit Crimson’s head with his own, “I’m going to put him to bed and turn in myself,” Extending his free hand, “Do you have the room key?” ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- 539 | Word Count

Neon kept ever vigilant of the entire room, his eyes darting back and forth, his senses sharp. As a support and a guide, it was his duty to keep an eye on everything, and be prepared for anything. Expect the unexpected... He thought to himself, bringing his gaze down to sip at his ale slowly. If he drank too fast, he would be in no shape to fight. He looked up as he noticed what looked to be another Adventurer enter the tavern, nodding slowly as he noticed the two Rapiers on his belt. Swashbuckler. He remarked in his mind, watching him for a while before returning to the party around him. He turned to Dumah as he laughed, chuckling softly with him and nodding in agreement to his comment on the Debauchery Tea Party. "Yes, I suppose we would be..."His attention was brought to an elven woman who had listened to his earlier comment. "Hmm... I'm not sure if they have a raid mode or difficulty setting," He replied calmly, turning himself to face her, placing his tankard down on the table to free his hands. It's rude to speak to someone with a drink in your hand. "Pray tell, what exactly is this dungeon and it's specs?" the elven woman asked, causing Neon to rub his chin as he gathered from his mind all he knew about it. "I'm as new to this world as you all are, but from what I've heard there is great challenge to be had in the Mansion of Purple Mirrors." He shrugged his shoulders, lowering his gaze back down to look back into her eyes. "But perhaps something a little less complicated would suit our group...?" He suggested softly, tilting his head slightly. She seems to be reading me, he noticed, watching her lean towards him and attempt to stare him down. He simply gave her a warm smile, as if saying she need only ask for the information she desired. "I'm sorry miss, I didn't catch your name," he finished as he realised she hadn't introduced herself, leaning slightly towards her as he waited for her response. Turning back to Dumah, he coughed slightly as he pushed up the bridge of his nose, tapping the side of his glasses. "You need these to do that, I'm afraid." As he leaned back in his chair, chuckling softly and taking up his drink, he noticed another two people enter the tavern. One was a man, who by his armour and weapon was either a Guardian or a Samurai, most likely the latter, given the lack of a shield. He chuckled as he slammed through the door, the dramatic entrance amusing, enough to keep the light-hearted mood of the room. The second was a woman, more difficult to discern as to her class, though her behaviour as she entered and looked around the room suggested Guardian. Watching Dumah approach them both, he simply looked them over and gave them both a warm, welcoming smile, before returning to his drink, sipping at it. This party is going to get out of hand...
"EYYYYYYY It's BLUE BOY! Come ere you." Neon turned his head to face the man who had suddenly sat next to him, eyes going wide as the man hugged him tightly. "Wha...?" He tried to blurt out in confusion, attempting to push the man off but to no avail. He sighed with relief as the clearly drunk man released him and moved his attention elsewhere, setting down his drink on the table and smoothing out his cloth as he shuffled back comfortably into his seat. He turned his head and noticed Myrddin at the bar, toiling away at his menus, his scrunched up brow telling Neon he was planning something. "He's come far..." He mumbled to himself with a smile before returning to the group around him.

Dumah smiled and looked to those members of his party that had been discussing strategy; the topic seemed to arouse a bit of excitement in Dumah. "If you need any help, please, feel free to let me know! I love discussing strategy, and I've many years of experience as a Raid Strategist for guilds. In fact, in Dawn of Azarint, my guild was the first to successfully complete the incredibly infamous raid known as the Avernus Canyon - infamous for its difficulty, of course." Dumah walked over to the strategists of the Boston Tea Party, and he pulled up a stool beside them, sitting and putting himself into the conversation. He remembered the three Adventurers who had walked up to Dumah hoping to join his raid, and he smiled. "Ah, I am sorry about that, what was I thinking? Here, here you two shall have to make your own party first before I can invite you to the Raid, as our two parties are already full. However, I will be able to invite your party to the Raid." With that, Dumah awaited them to make the new, third party of the Boston Tea Party, and with that, Dumah invited them to the Raid. They accepted the invitation, and Dumah smiled happily in a friendly manner. "Welcome to the Boston Tea Party!" With that, Dumah explained the situation to the new party and how they were indulging in a pre-celebration before they head out for a raid. With that, he returned to the tactical discussion as he was joined by his newly claimed daughter. "Now, what are we discussing first?" Dumah was eager to be a part of the strategic portion of the Raid process.
Alette swung her legs as she sat in the stool that was too tall for her to reach the ground while sitting in it. She smiled and threw her arms up excitedly and eagerly. "Me too! I want to help!"
As Mokusu asked Dumah for his room key, he happily obliged in giving it to him.

Swashbuckler - Gardener - Chef ____________________________________________________Well... Introductions, I Guess Sotarou goes ahead and accepts the responsibility of being the party leader in this case, adding the others into a group and joining the Raid group. He gives a smile, but some might see it as a fake one... and they'd be right. But he wanted to put on a good face in any case. "Very well. I believe it is important for all of us to know what each of us has available to them. I only made this character today, but I think I have an okay grasp of what my abilities are." He clears his throat. "As a Swashbuckler, I of course use Dual One-handed weapons. I started out with Rapiers, but will hopefully be upgrading when I have the opportunity. I wear Chainmail, as it's light enough to move in and tough enough to withstand an okay amount of damage from normal enemies. I am both a Chef and Gardener. I don't have a Garden set up yet, and I have not yet had ingredients enough to cook with. So if in this Raid we find materials with which I can cook, I would like to try so I may potentially level my Chef Subclass. As well as, being a Gardener, I have the ability to deal more damage to Plant-type creatures, if we happen to run into any. My current suite of abilities for being a Swashbuckler are thus: Blind Bet, which allows me to blind a foe for 10 seconds, with a 10 second cooldown on the ability. So if I keep that up, I can effectively rob an enemy of their sight the entire fight. Next is Discard. This move sheds aggro from me like a snake sheds its skin, so the Guardian and Samurai can keep aggro better. And then my best ability, Mirage Dealer. A dual-wield only skill, I use both Rapiers to create an X-shape strike on my enemy, then teleport a metre forward after the strike. An 8-second cooldown, and 2 second animation. My favorite combo I have found is to use Blind Bet, then follow up with Mirage Dealer while he's bleary. Then as he bumbles towards me, I use Discard to reset my Aggro. By the time all this happens, if the enemy hasn't died, the cooldown on Blind Bet would almost be up, and I'd use it the moment it was ready again. Rinse and repeat until the enemy is defeated." He takes a breath... "My problem is when I encounter either enemies that can't be blinded, or faster enemies, I have trouble keeping up. That's what took me out before I came here, was a faster enemy than I could keep up. They knocked me out, and I woke up in the Cathedral. I would not like to repeat this performance if possible." He bows to the others. "And that is what I bring to this party. Decent food, increased damage against plant creatures and the ability to blind enemies." That had to have been the longest speech he'd ever performed for anybody at all. He may be smiling as he says this, but every bit of him was terrified to even be speaking this publicly... but everything he said had to be said so he could make sure they knew what all he could do. He gives another bow. "Thank you for hearing me out."INVENTORY

“Thanks,” The Fox Tail said as he grabs the key from the party leader’s hand. “We’ll see you guys in the morning,”
Supporting the red bard that is half-sleep and half-walk, Mokusu proceeds to the inn manager that is helping the staff by tending the bar and show him the key. “I’m sorry, but can you show us to the room please?” Nodding to the Fox Tail, the manager called one of the waitresses to cover for him before he grabs the key from the Fox Tail’s hand and exited the bar. Instructed the Fox Tail to follow him, he then proceed to walk towards the far right of the tavern where there is a stair that leads up to the rooms. Sighing, the Fox Tail start his struggle to climb the stairs, willing his tail to wrap Crimson’s left leg to his right, he half-jump on every each of the stairs. Seeing the Fox Tail struggle, the manager came down from the top of the stairs and with a hefty laugh, he helps the Fox Tail with the sleeping drunken bard up the stairs and into their room.
“Thank you,” Mokusu said as he and the inn manager heaves and dropped the drunken Crimson Blood to the bed nearest to the door. Catching his breath, he open up his user interface and draws out a few golden coins and hands it to the manager as a thank you for helping him. Leaving the room key on the table just adjacent to the three beds, the manager close the door as he exited the room and went back down with a 20 gold coin in his hand. Sighing after the door is close, the Fox Tail proceed to put Crimson’s feather hat on the table just beside the key, looking at the room that is only being lit by a candle that the manager lights up before exiting the room, the room has only three single beds next to each other leaving only the slightest gap in between them as the room was small. Adjacent to it was a small table where they had put the key and Crimson’s hat and next to it was two simple wooden chairs, dragging one of the chair near the window, he proceed to open it, letting a light cold breeze enter the room, shivering at the sudden cold, Mokusu goes back to Crimson and cover him in the thin wool blanket before going back again to sit beside the windows.
“I wonder what were you thinking when you found me?” The Fox Tail mutter to the sleeping Crimson, remembering the day when the apocalypse started as he rubbing at the spot where he once stabbed himself hoping the experience was a dream, “Thank you.” Letting out a sigh, he stood up and cast his head out the window, hoping to see the stars again. ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- 480 | Word Count

Maybe it was because he saw the adorable little girl. Maybe it was because he had this massive group at his side suddenly. Maybe it was him being told he was actually courting the child, and Dumah's subtle yet pointed response: don't mess with my daughter. It was probably a combination of all these things--but Kogeki was now both feeling better, and even more afraid then he was before he walked into the bloody room. There were people here who seemed to know what they were doing, at least--particularly the leader. Yet he let Dumah leave, offering a smile and a wave to the young Alette. In her stead, he turned to speak to Titania.
"Judging from the appearance of our teammates, it will be you and I on the front lines, dear madame! Titania was your name, yes? A beautiful name for a beautiful woman." Kogeki bowed before her, bending at the waist respectfully. "I will admit, however, that I know little of the Guardian class. A heavily armed and armored tank, indeed, but surely there is a way for you and I to connect our efforts, that we may maximize our two strengths. Specifically, I hold three skills currently: the Iaido Draw, a free instant attack which I may use before a Chain 1 combo skill, and after a Chain 3 skill. Unfortunately, I do not have a Rank 3 currently to use. Aside from that, I have the Bushi Chousen, the Samurai's Challenge, a Chain 1 skill which forces enemies to direct their attacks against me for several seconds. I can set my Chain combo skills up another rank if it succeeds. Lastly, I have the Shunsen, a Chain 2 skill that creates a fan-shaped area before me that punishes melee attackers for striking at me for the duration of the skill. Do you perhaps have any skills that may augment these?"
Of course, what he isn't saying, is that he kicks his own ass for choosing skills that forced him to be a tank. Indeed, a coward will lead them... But he won't let a single crack show on his pretty-boy face.
When the invitation arrives, Kogeki is quick to accept--with a hand that is only slightly trembling, at that! Sotarou comes and introduces himself, and Kogeki is quick to offer as firm a handshake as he can manage as he forces the trembling away. "Ah, you must be Sotarou! Excellent. I shall follow your lead, liege!"
The Samurai paused to allow the Swashbuckler to explain his skills, nodding thoughtfully at each. Following that, he would then go into explaining his own skills just as he did with Titania. At the end, he appends it with,
"Basically friend, I am meant to set you up for all of your combos. Your blind skill would be of great use, especially after I have used my Bushi Chousen and my Shunsen. Damage goes all to them while I take none in return seems like an excellent plan, does it not?!" He paused, then. " But... perhaps we should see about adding one of our many support options to this team. I do not doubt the skills presented here, but why not make use of such an abundant resource?"

Post by Myrddin on Nov 16, 2014 15:29:30 GMT
As Myrddin finished his sentence, a voice chimed in with praise from his right. "You're quite the strategist. If you need any help just ask." It was Kode, the rather stoic warden. He carried a frown, which Myrddin assumed was normal expression. Possibly due to the uproar of drunkenness from the congregation of adventurers, the warden had joined him at the bar. The warden didn't seem to be one that was too interested in the basic socialization. It was probably the look in his eyes that told him that. Or the fact that the Warden spoke far less than his counterpart Crimson.
As he set the empty tankard on the counter top, the enchanter looked over to the bar's new arrival. His lips parted weakly into a smile. "I don't think I'm much of a strategist." He replied, "I've just been apart of enough failed groups in past to remember a thing or two about party construction." He chuckled nervously. Realizing the nervousness in his voice he quickly cleared his throat. "Ho. Sorry." He apologized, now with faux confidence. "I do appreciate the offer. And..." He paused as Dumah pipped in.
"If you need any help, please, feel free to let me know! I love discussing strategy, and I've many years of experience as a Raid Strategist for guilds. In fact," He sauntered over and pulled a stool free from the bar and claimed it as his own. "In Dawn of Azarint, my guild was the first to successfully complete the incredibly infamous raid known as the Avernus Canyon - infamous for its difficulty, of course." He chirped, his excitement evidently shown on his face. Myrddin opened his mouth to speak but was halted as Dumah seemed to remember something. "Ah, I am sorry about that, what was I thinking? Here, here you two shall have to make your own party first before I can invite you to the Raid, as our two parties are already full. However, I will be able to invite your party to the Raid." Dumah spoke as he made a gesture to summon his menu windows. With a few more flicks and twists Myrddin assumed he closed them as he looked back and gave one of his smiles that seemed to captivate people. "Now, what are we discussing first?" He said as the wee-one scampered over and claimed a stool for her self.
"Me too! I want to help!" Alette announced enthusiastically as she threw her small arms into the air, all the while swinging her legs as they hung a few inches or so from the floor. She was indeed a child, every action up to this point made Myrddin sure of it. He smiled at the young girl, he liked her enthusiasm and spirit to help, he just wondered how she would be when the fighting began. With a nod he turned his head to look at each of the members of his group before he moved into the talk of parties.
"Well first off, Dumah, I'd like to voice my opinion on the party line ups." He said, making sure he didn't let the nervousness show again. He cleared his throat once more before he continued. "We currently have sixteen people in this raid group. That means three parties; two with six, one with four. You're party leader so in the end it's really your choice, but I think the third party should be a mixture of support and offense. Hence why I think Alette and Verin should be in the third party, while the guardian and the samurai join you in the vanguards." He paused a moment to take a breath. His heart was beating more than he expected. He felt as if more people were staring at him. It was as if the pressure of their gaze was a physical thing.
After a moment to calm his nerves he went on. "That would give you a samurai, Kokkaku as the assassin, guardian, you as the swashbuckler, Kode as the warden, and Cy as the Monk. That's a vanguard team that should be able to keep the aggro on them and away from the other groups. Meanwhile, party number two (the support party) would consist of....wait." He stopped, quickly turning in his stool he looked around the room. He gestured in the air and opened his menu to the party roster. After a moment he slapped his palm to his face and held it there. "There isn't sixteen. There's fifteen." He sighed into his hand. "Then that means to make it an even balance we would have three groups of five. We would need a scribe in each for just in case we get separated; Kode in the Vanguard, me in the support and Neon in the Sup-Off. With Neon having the Pathfinder along side the Scribe sub-class he'll come in handy in that instance." Myrddin spoke faster now, his voice was low but any trace of nervousness was gone.
"With that we would need to stack the Vanguard as the aggro flood; Guardian, Samurai, Swashbuckler, Assassin, and Monk. Support; Enchanter, two Druids, Bard, and a Summoner. But group three is a bit tricky, who all would...you..." The enchanter looked back and slowed his speaking when he realized he had rush off into a tangent of planning all on his own. "Sorry, I guess I got carried away." Light pink hue touched his dark cheeks. "Uhh, what are your ideas for party set up and formation?" He asked, a it self-conscious now.

Regina smiled, her smile seemingly never fading, she would look to the young man with blue hair and tilt her head slightly "Regina, I shall be one of the main healer's in this group. Nice to meet you." She would tilt her head slightly "Well I would like to know more about this dungeon of Purple Mirrors a bit more before we try to take it on, either we'll have to try to do a low level raid or split up the group into several smaller teams to run through it separately." Regina suggested, more to everyone listening than to 'just' Neon. Regina would look around a moment, thoughts racing through her mind, when Myrddin began to explain things, since Dumah DID after all, suggest that they start talking about this seriously.
Regina would listen, playing with her ear a little as she absorbed his suggestions. She would nod, it seems he wants to focus on three groups, that isn't so bad. "I would say good suggestion all around and since we are taking suggestions might I offer mine?" She would clear her throat and then began, her voice, clear and a little quicker than normal. "First off, we have only three pure 'tanks', a guardian, a samurai and a warden. With the Monk as a off tank, which is just a suggestion. For our damage dealers, we have a Assassin, a Monk, two Swashbucklers and two Sorcerers. Which leaves us mostly with melee type damage dealers, people who would have to get in there and then back off to let the tanks do their jobs. Lastly we have our supports, including myself, we have two Druids, two Enchanters, a Summoner who has been spec'ed into healing and a Bard." She would catch her breath and then slide a piece of parchment into the middle of the table. She would then lean over the table a bit to 'borrow' one of the Scribe's quills. She would then begin to draw out a formation.
"Now, this might change depending on the layout of the dungeon. But I would like the first team of five to comprise of, of course, the tanks. Guardian in the middle with the Warden and the Samurai flanking her on either side. Now from what I have seen of their skills. The Samurai has a single target and aoe aggro grabber, same thing with the Guardian and the Warden has a nice shield booster and can aggro up to three enemies at once I believe. Now, while the scribes might be nice, they make maps 'during' the process of exploring, so unless one of all of you 'have' maps already, it won't really help us unless we actually plan to split up and map out different areas of the dungeon." She would smile to Myrddin, trying not to seem as if she was offending him, as she did not want to.
She draws three shields in a ^ in the front of a hallway. "I would like them in a triangle formation, with the Swashbucklers and the Assassin up there behind them, since they are melee, they'll need to get close to the action anyways and this way the tanks can be right there in case they accidentally pull attention away from them." She would place three dots behind or 'under' the ^. She would then draw up a second group a straight line "The monk should be in the front of the line, since he will also be melee range and will need to be up in the action, I would suggest having the Sorcerers being in the middle, behind the Monk and Enchanters being in this group, since the Sorcerer's are our only source of consistent long range damage at the moment and the Enchanters will be able to buff them and/or the front line while still staying in sight of the enemies for any debuffs to be thrown. So I would like them to be on the sides of the lineup." She would then move it backwards and draw a straight line of dots. "Which leaves the support in the back."
Regina tapped her chin for a second "I'd like for the main healers, the two Druids to be in the middle, with the Bard on one side and the Summoner on the other. That way, the Druids can still be within range of next to everyone while the Bard and Summoner can provide backup for the squishies in the middle and/or emergency support if something goes wrong." She would let out a little sigh and try to compose herself again before clearing her throat. "That would be my suggestions. Keeping the supports and the tanks within range of not only each other, but also their allies and/or enemies. Cause if someone is too far away, that is where it begins to go downhill fast." She blushed a little, showing off perhaps too much of her past MMO experience. Maybe they will think she is just really into.. war games.. or something?

Dumah listened to Regina's suggestion intently. "Impressive! You sound as if you have got quite a bit of experience in this sort of thing! I'm glad we've got you on our side, Ms. Regina." He smiled to her, genuinely appreciative to have her. "I wish I had some suggestions as to our formations and strategies, but lest I know more of the dungeon, I will not be able to make that many suggestions." He gave a bit of a nervous smile, wishing he could have been more help.
As he made his regret clear, the high voice of the young girl beside him spoke up excitedly. "Maybe we could...! Um... We could... Well..." She spoke without thinking, her strong desire to help no matter what was very clear and evident, and she continued on with her process of "Umm... Maybe... Well... Hmm..."
Dumah smiled. "I think this sounds like a great plan, Ms. Regina." He gave a bit of a thumbs up in confirmation and approval of her plan.
Alette pouted a bit, both saddened at her inability to help with the tactics, and her position not being with her self-proclaimed father. With a gentle touch of sorrow, the young girl spoke. "I want to stay with da-!" In the middle of her declaration, she was interrupted as she leaned forward to hug Dumah, falling out of her stool and hitting her head against Dumah's hard, wooden stool, a bit of blood drawn from a small cut on her forehead.

Regina had suggested a good formation so I agreed with what she was saying. "I like that formation Regina have you played any war games before?" He said that while smiling. "Personally I have played my fare share of this game and been the strategist in multiple guilds. The biggest one being The Toy Makers. I say we should abuse my Cartridge Abilities and Buff Abilities. Oh yes I seem to have forgotten my Buff Abilities when explaining my skills." He smiled in a charming manner. "Silly me." He pushed up his glasses getting ready to recite them. "I have eight Buff Abilities and two slots for these abilities. I can upgrade the number of slots but I am only level 1 so I cannot yet. I can switch Buff Abilities at any time except during combat. This allows me to adapt to different situations. My Buff Abilities are, Anti Magic Plating which reduces magic damage by 10% and dark magic damage by 25%, Armor Plating which increases overall defense by 10%, Bayonet which only applies to range weapons so it's not that useful for me, Enhancer which increases the damage of my weapons by 10%, I feel I will use this one the most, the last four are Hasting Touch which increases my attack speed with weapons by 10%, if I use this with Enhancer I would do a fair bit more damage, the next one is Heavy Shield Springs my shield has some springs added behind the plating to it making me more resistant to detrimental effects such as dazing, stuns and knockbacks and increases defense against 2 handed and large weapons with a successful block, the second last one is Scope which is only for ranged weapons so again this will not be incredibly useful, and last but not least Static Discharge my armor has a small amount of current running through it. When struck with a melee attack, the charge will transfer to the attacker, dealing a moderate amount of damage. After a short while, the charge replenishes and is ready to activate again. Hopefully these will turn the tide in a battle." He finished with a smile that could charm any woman. He has had a lot of practice after all.

Neon smiled back to the elf, having introduced herself as Regina. "A pleasure to meet you as well, Regina. I'm sure we'll no doubt be working together on the battlefield." He nodded slowly, listening to Regina's words quietly, his curiosity peaking as she tilted her head. She's as inquisitive as I am, he remarked in his mind, chuckling softly under his breath. "You have a good mindset. Knowing all the variables before leaping into the fray is a must for any large party such as this." He sighed softly, looking around the bar. "I must apologise for my inability to give you the information you seek." As he finished, he turned back to her, staring into her eyes apologetically. It would seem strategy is the big talk now... Neon noted as he looked around at all the people now discussing plans. And I was beginning to think they were just a drinking party. He smirked cheekily at his teasing thought, blinking his eyes slowly as he listened to everyone put forward their ideas and suggestions. He happily handed Regina one of his quills as she went through hers, chuckling softly. These ones are surprisingly intelligent in their strategies, he noted to himself, nodding slowly as he listened to each suggestion put forward by the team. It was then that Neon supposed he could add his 10 cents. He looked to Dumah, lifting up his left hand to push his glasses up the bridge of his nose, before winking at him. He gave a small cough so as to show he was speaking, having waited for everyone to finish. "All very good strategies and suggestions, I must say," he began, smiling to Myrddin and Regina. "But of course, I do wish to add my own input, if you'll have it." Waiting for their response, he nodded to each of them before continuing on. "We have fifteen players, correct? That gives us three teams of five, so that's where we begin." He leaned forward on the table, resting his arms atop it as he got into strategist mode. "Knowing so little about our destination, our even what our destination is, it would be best to keep a guide of sorts within each group." He turned his head to Myrddin and smiled softly. "Myrddin, you had an interesting idea which I quite liked, I couldn't help but overhear it. If you don't mind, I'd like to put it forward." He waited for the other Enchanter's response before continuing. "Within our group of fifteen we have at least three Scribes, Myrddin, Kode, and myself. With one of us in each group, they could act as a guide, as well as link to the other groups, keeping in contact with each other." Neon smiled nodding to Myrddin to show his approval of his suggestion, waiting for the others to respond before continuing. "Now, as Regina said, we only have three 'pure' tanks at are disposal. I do like the idea of putting them into a team together, making them more effective, but we have to consider as many variables as possible. For instance, it is a high possibility that our three teams will get separated. If they do, two of them are left without tanks." "So, my suggestion, just as we separated the three Scribes, do the same for the tanks, and separate them into each team. That way we can keep each squad with a solid defence in case we are separated." He once again nodded to each of the other team members, before continuing. "Next, the healers. We have three, technically, with the two Druids and the Summoner who Regina said was speced as a healer."Neon gently took back his quill and began scribbling. "No doubt you'll know where I'm going with my strategy at this point, as once again, we split the three of them up. A healer, a tank, and a scribe for each team, putting a wider range of tactics and abilities at their disposal. This leaves each team two slots for the DPS classes." He looked up from his scribbles to make sure everyone was listening, pushing up his glasses once again, the light reflecting off the lenses. "Regina, you were correct in your observation in that we mainly have melee DPSers. My suggestion is we put two of the DPS classes, perhaps the Monk and Assassin, into the same team, leaving the other two teams with a Swashbuckler and a Sorcerer for both melee DPS and ranged DPS. Obviously that part can be switched up a bit, but the general idea is to keep each team with as many options as possible so that they can act to any change on the battlefield." As he finished, he set down his quill, leaned back in his chair, and gave out a soft breath. Strategic talks really take it out of you, he thought to himself as he looked up at the others. "What are your thoughts?"

Swashbuckler - Gardener - Chef ____________________________________________________Explanations and Party Adjustme- Uh-oh! Sotarou could only nod in response to everyone talking. He didn't really know what all he should be saying at this point. He'd explained his abilities, and had even explained his cooking. He wasn't the absolute best cook in the real world, but he wasn't terrible either. So he might be welcome enough in any case. And especially with the more recent find of cooking outside of the crafting menu, it was definitely something he'd have to keep an eye on. "I suppose the only thing I can say anymore myself is that wherever I go, I would wish to acquire any ingredient items so I may make sure we all have tasty food to enjoy." It was at that point that the young Sorcerer girl made her comment. "I want to stay with da-!" And he could see what was going to happen in slow motion, his eyes going wide. He attempted to react quick enough to catch her before she hit, but it wasn't fast enough reaction... her head hit the stool just as he reached her, which he was at least able to prevent any further injury from a farther fall, catching her and gently settling her back on her own stool. All one-handed, his left arm dangling uselessly as he set her upon the stool. "Are you alright, little one? That seemed quite a scary fall you had... someone so powerful shouldn't be sent to the Cathedral for any reason at all." He goes to one knee with a smile, just about eye-level with the young maiden. "I would be honored to have you in my party, young Sorceress." The way he's acting, you'd think he was a Nobleman speaking to a Princess. It was his way of making up lost time for being an only child. Having a younger sister was something he wanted all of his life... and while this wasn't anywhere close, he still felt at least a little better about it. "But I suppose if you wish to, I must do without your grace in favor of you protecting your father." He stands up, taking a breath. His size would probably intimidate someone so small, but at the same time he seemed more the gentle giant than anything else. INVENTORY

Sitting on the chair he had dragged from its original spot, elbows on the wooden window frame and hands cupping his face, the Fox Tail looked at the streets below as slowly one by one the shops and houses lights started to dimmed before going out completely as the owners started to lock up, some that is around the Log Inn was still bright, hoping to catch a few more customers, mainly inside the Inn before closing up.
Standing back straight up, Mokusu closed the window before half-dragged, half-carry the chair back to the table. Ruffling his hair hard and messing it up in the process as he had always done before going to bed, the Fox Tail blew out the candle and jumped into the bed nearest to the window. As the only source of light is the night sky and the lights from the hallway candles seen below the door, Mokusu closed his eyes but sleep never came. The sound of the rustling tree outside of the inn was calming, and the snore of Crimson should sooth him to dream land as seeing he once worked on his family own guest house, he never did have his own room, only the one that is shared with his brother and often their snores become a lullaby in which his mind respond with sleep. Sitting up on the bed, he looked at Crimson which is a bed away from him; body all tangle with his blanket, his long white hair covered his face. Climbing out of bed, the Fox Tail walked out of the room, seeing as Crimson has intoxicate himself, Mokusu concluded the red bard wouldn’t wake up to the sound of his steps, heck even if the Fox Tail shout in front of his face, he – 50/50 – wouldn’t woke up.
Grabbing the key in the process, he locked the door so no one would disturbed Crimson and vice versa, through experience itself he know drunk people are hard to handle. Approaching the stairs, Mokusu examines the crowd below; some were pretty much still alive, some were drunk enough that they slept on their chairs and his party, some of them were in either one of the groups while others was at the bar, face all serious, figuring they were discussing about tomorrow journey or debating about something else. Not wanting to disturbed them, The Fox Tail sits on top of the stairs and toggle his hearing aptitude skill, at in an instant; the room was silence before the sound reappears again. Concentrating on the bar, the voices that would seem hard to hear was a clear as if they were with him on top of the stair. It was Regina’s voice and she said something about something going downhill fast, it was after that that the sorceress Alette hit her head again’t Dumah stool, standing on top of the stairs in shock and hoping she is alright as a new comer with white hair helping her back on her stool.
Wanting to help, Mokusu summon up his interface and clicking on his skills, he summons up his Sylph which appears as if out of nowhere in front of him. “Help her.” Was the summoner’s only word as he point his Sylph down at the bar to the small sorceress sitting beside Dumah and without other command, the small wind fairy flew down to the bar before hovering in fronth of Alette face, inspecting her forehead, the fairy smile at the young girl before blowing to the cut on her forehead. The Sylph action cause the small cut to glow a soft light blue light and as it disappears, so does the injury. Circling Alette to make sure nothing else is injured, the fairy returns to her master in which the Fox Tail said his thanks before desummoning her and sits back down on top of the stairs. ----- ----- ----- ----- ----- 650 | Word Count

A red wound newly opened on her head, Alette trembled softly as she held back tears. She didn't want to be known as a child who bawled at the first ounce of pain, she wanted to be known as a helpful person in her party. She swallowed her tears, though the pain was still evident despite her efforts. She gently held her hands to her forehead, trying to forget the pain but to no avail. Small tears welled up in the young girl's eyes, and all that could be heard from her were very soft whimpers of pain. She nodded in thanks to the Samurai who'd helped her from falling, and she stared curiously at the small pixie that circled around her, and she moved her fingers away from the red mark as she was healed. She smiled relieved after the Sylph returned to its master, and she seemed returned to the cheerful, childish persona she'd had all night. She smiled and nodded in thanks to all of the people who had helped her, and to her 'father' who had tried to help her and asked if she were alright.

Post by Myrddin on Nov 17, 2014 20:18:03 GMT
What Myrddin thought was a conversation between three people became an entire group discussion. Which, he supposed, was a good thing since everyone was involved. As he finished speaking Regina cleared her throat and laid out her suggestions. They were rather well thought out and showed that she had impressive knowledge of strategy. She even voiced her opinion on the scribes usefulness and flashed Myrddin a smile. To which he responded to with a slight shrug and a smirk. She had a point and he couldn't contest that without a map, a scribes' usefulness is lowered. That did't mean they cannot craft it, but when going into new territory mapping the entire thing by splitting up isn't the best idea. Especially if your party consists of mainly level ones.
As Regina's speech came to a close her cheeks seemed to grow a little pink. Perhaps she, like him, was a bit self-conscious about giving out such suggestions. That thought made Myrddin feel a bit better about himself, as he realized others too must be worried about such things. Once she finished speaking Myrddin smirked, Quite impressive. I wonder who's next...Oh? Well that isn't surprising. He thought as a hand lifted into the air to signify his turn.
"All very good strategies and suggestions, I must say," he began and flashed a smile to Myrddin and Regina. "But of course, I do wish to add my own input, if you'll have it." He nodded to each as he waited for a response.
Myrddin extended his hand, palm upward. "The floor is yours." he said, "If Regina is finished, of course." interested in what the azure haired youth would say.
Neon spoke of the scribes first, his idea was a similar version of Myrddin's own; using the scribes as a contact bridge with the other groups. He gave his fellow enchanter a nod to which the half-alv reciprocated. He then went on to the parties and the members that would be in them He suggested that each party be an actual well balanced party rather than a party for a set job. Myrddin smirked, his pride felt a small sting but he had to admit he liked the sound of Neon's idea more than his own It allowed for variable changes that his did not. And while his pride was a bit hurt, he felt pride for his friend and his strategical skill.
He leaned back in his chair as he finished and exhaled softly. He then turned his gaze to look at the other members. "What are your thoughts?" Myrddin remained silent as a large man with twin rapiers spoke about ingredients before Alette's enthusiastic protest about staying with Dumah caused her to slip from her stool and meet with the hard wood of her "father's" stool. Due to her position on the other side of Dumah he was unable to see the blood or wound but almost as soon as she collided with the stool the large white haired man rushed to her side and hefted her back onto the stool. She had apparently gotten hurt from the accident but refused to cry. Myrddin felt the incident tug gently at his heartstrings but didn't say anything as a moment later her forehead was healed and something was encircling her head.
Since she seemed to be alright the enchanter let out an almost unnoticeable sigh of relief and turned back to the discussion "Who's next?"

Regina took a step back, her hands moving behind her back, not only did that give off a 'air' of noble concentration, but would of course hide any fidgeting or sweaty palms one might have. She then blushed a little bit, looking to Kode and Dumah, she would wave a hand in a modest way. "Thank you. I have been playing these kind of games for a long time, I have just always been interested in these kind of games, though the more information you have, the better your chances are." She then looks to Neon and nods to him as she would then wait and listen to what he had to suggest.
He suggested, just like Myrddin, to use the Scribes. She tilted her head slightly, she would think to herself, trying to wonder what the 'exact' use of a Scribe was. They normally were cartographers or contract makers were they not? She still was not sure about just relying on them as a form of guide, though wouldn't they need to know of the layout of the place to actually guide people in it? She tapped her chin, taking in what Neon was suggesting. Splitting up the groups was a bit risky, but it would allow them to avoid crowding one another and allow the experience to spread out at least some what evenly amongst each separate party instead of just getting a little bit of experience spread out throughout all three groups bunched together.
She would wait till Myrddin and Neon were done talking before she would lean over and tap on the parchment "I would like to suggest one final thing, if I may? Since our party is mainly comprised of level one people, I would like to split up the higher leveled people as well, if we can. I would like to make sure they are equally put into mostly level one groups, since they will not only have a slight stat advantage, but also they will have more combat experience as well and if worse comes to worse can actually show the others how 'it is done'." She would then look to the people that were listed. "I would also like us to establish who is going to be the 'leader' in each of these three groups, someone who can take charge if it is needed." She would tilt her head slightly before nodding, she would look between the men standing there. "I sadly do not know all of you that much, so I could not suggest anyone from the top of my head and thus the only thing I have to go off from is our levels." She would says as she then lets out a little sigh, she would tap her staff a little against the ground as she would then look to everyone "That is just a suggestion anyways." She would play with one of her curls and lets it 'spring' back against her head before tapping her chin, trying to imagine what could happen.

Titania was never really one for such strategic kinds of talks, just point her at an enemy and she will be sure to knock them senseless. She was not a brute or anything, but relied more on instinct and to think on her feet than spend hours or even days pondering about every kind of outcome or stratagem one could possibly come up with. Her years of fencing taught her that, also never underestimate an opponent, never assume, never be cocky and to always be honorable unless you had to defend yourself. This game cared little more about beating some seemingly mindless AI regardless of the tactics and she did have to admit, sometimes honor must be set aside. It was better to be alive and able to regain your honor, than it was to die and keep it intact.
She watched them, especially the three in the middle of the table, though it seemed like Neon the blue and Regina the red were in agreement with the main part of each others plan, the bit about the Scribes seemed to send Regina into a state of slight puzzlement or annoyance, she made the same face regardless. Titania would be sitting at the table, looking around the inn, you never could be 'too' careful, even as some of the party were either not present or were about to seemingly toddle off for the night, she would be one of the last to bed. As a knight, you always had to be sure everything was alright for everyone before you yourself could relax. She would pop her neck a few times and give off a little yawn before she would then get up and stretch out some, they apparently were going to be split up tomorrow, which was fine by her, but she just hoped it would not be with some 'kids', it is not that she did not like children, but she found them especially aggravating in these kinds of situations, where they would either get easily distracted or freeze at the spot with the sudden rush of battle.
Titania would look to the little girl Dumah seemingly kept around him, though thankfully it wasn't anything lewd, she might have slapped the hell out of him if it was anything remotely like that. She would then gently tug on Dumah's shoulder for a moment motioning for him to talk with her away from the girl and towards the window. When he finally gets there, she would look to him "Okay, I could not help but notice that one of our Sorcerer's is a little girl.. has.. she fought before? I ask, because I don't want anything to happen to her or for her to become a burden on a group due to her lack of.. combat experience." She would bit her bottom lip slightly, not wanting it to sound mean or shred, but trying to come off more concerned. "Speaking of which, will you be in the party she is going to? I would think that might be the best since you two would probably work better together and I assume have done so before?" She didn't even want to think about all the kids out there, crying for their families or worse.

Glius had never entered a raid before and was getting quite curious as how he should do it or atleast until he stumbled upon a group of around 15 people. Glius approached the people asking "hey erhm, anyone of you know what is going on by any chance? and if by any chance you are doing a raid, is it okay if i come with you peeps? I am a level 7 assassin. Pleasure to meet you everyone." Glius Seemed to smile towards them for now he equipped his starter Katana while keeping the Kunai in his belt. He hoped for a positive response regarding whether he was allowed to join the party of people. "My subclass although only level 1 is tracker, plus i'm fairly new so i hope we can get along and i'll try not to get in the way." Glius said fairly nervous about what they were gona think of him. Glius then attempted to talk about his skills information with the rest of the folk, hoping they would be able to coordinate better.
Hide Walk: Self Buff. Even the novice Assassin must be adept at stealth. Known for being able to meld into shadow or disappearing behind cover, Assassins can become invisible to the naked eye for just a moment before dealing a deathly blow. It is not a perfect technique however, as those carefully watching the Assassin can see through their tricks. This skill has an duration of 2 seconds and a cooldown of 20 seconds. Hiding Entry: Self Buff. One of the basic stealth magics of the Assassin. A signature move of the Assassins, known for being able to hide in plain sight, that allows them to bend light around them and become invisible to the naked eye for an extended period of time, up to ten minutes. Offensive actions, stabbing a target for instance, immediately break the magic used to hide the Assassin. The spell itself can be a bit taxing to the Assassin and can only be used sparingly. This skill has a casting time of 2 seconds, lightly draining the user's MP upon use. It has a cooldown of 30 seconds the moment it is canceled.
Silent Move: A skill that deadens the user's movements whenever traveling, preventing them from making any sound while walking. In exchange, the Tracker's movement speed is reduced by 50%. For every 10 levels the tracker gains in their subclass level, this debuff is decreased by 10%. After Level 50, the debuff is eliminated completely.
Fatal Ambush: Assassins are known for their deadly strikes, often being able to slay in a single strike. This technique is the first of the many massive damage attacks the Assassins have under their repertoire. It is a crude version however, a novice skill that serves more as the basis and foundation for future, more poetic, techniques. Requiring a long preparation time, the Assassin must focus onto their target, limiting their perception and leaving them vulnerable to other attacks, as they search for a weak point. Then by focusing all of their strength into one strike, the assassin strikes their target with all of their might into a single point, dealing critical damage. The mental exertion required taxes the mind heavily however, and the technique can only be used sparingly. This skill has an casting time of 5 seconds before it may be used. When it is used, Fatal Ambush has an animation time of 1 second and a cooldown of 60 seconds.

Dumah looked to the newcomer nonchalantly. "I suppose I do not see any reason to oppose." With a soft smile, he waved to the newcomer. "Welcome to our raid, friend." He looked at the Assassin. "Tell me about yourself. What is your name? Your dream? Your goal?" He turned to the newly arrived Assassin as he waited for the answers sure to come. He linked his fingers together and held his head up on his interlocked hands, watching the Assassin with curious eyes.
