Large white puffs danced through the chilled air, drifting and gliding down to add to the snow pile covering the frozen earth. Each one fell quietly, slowly but surely adding to the several inch thick coating. The sky was a cloudy gray, the sun partially blocked by the dense overhang of clouds, despite it being only midday. A cool breeze swept over the frozen clearing, sweeping up a bit of soft snow, sending it swirling into the air for a moment before it fell peacefully back into the pile. It was a serene scene… beautiful, untouched whiteness encircling a silent, frozen lake in the middle. Thick trees were off in the distance, their branches barren and covered only in more of the powdery white. The sharpest of eyes would see the icicles which had formed, glittering and reflecting the dull rays of the winter sun. Off to one side, layered in a snow that possibly never melted, was a small structure. Warm light leaked out from its few windows, inviting the weary in to rest. A petite blonde, with twin tails nearly as long as she was tall, hopped through the snow, disturbing the peaceful landscape. Her tiny body sank into the snow with each step, her cheeks tinted pink from the cold. Her green eyes sparkled as she took in the scene, it was even more prefect than she had expected. Not long before, she had come to Snowdonia to attend the Winter Ball, a night which she recalled fondly. While she was there, she had heard of this beautiful frozen lake. It had a relatively low monster encounter rate, so long as you didn’t venture into the tree line, and the small inn here was perfect for an overnight winter trip. Excited about all the possibilities of a day of fun in the snow, Artemisia had immediately sent invitations to everyone she knew and had even passed along quite a few to random passer-bys. There were simply too many frozen adventures to be had to pass up this chance. Artemisia stopped just shy of the solidified lake and smiled widely, a puff of white breath fading into the still air. “ This is perfect…!” She had made a list of things to do here and she hoped she would find company. One could not build snowman, throw snowballs, slide across a frozen lake and then drink hot chocolate by the fire alone after all. Or, at least, it wouldn’t be near as fun by herself. As if the area had been designed for lake side parties, there was a circle of snow covered rocks surrounding a slightly indented area on the ground – a fire pit. The snow crunched under her feet as she made her way over to the rocks. “ Hm,” She began brushing off each rock one by one, preparing the area for what she hoped would be a fun gathering. Once each flat rock had been cleaned, she clicked on her interface, navigating over to her inventory screen. It only took her a moment to set out the items she needed, each one plopping into the center of the pit perfectly. “ How do I light it, though…?” She tilted her head to one side, staring at the pile of logs she had just placed out. Her eyes widened and her little fox ears perked straight up as the idea hit her. “ Of course!” She clicked into her inventory again, this time a wooden staff appeared in her right hand. “ Inferno Strike,” She cast one of her fire spells, the end of her staff quickly lighting up with hot embers. She touched the end of her weapon to the logs. One tiny spark jumped over, catching and spreading across the wood. A few seconds later and the fire was steadily burning, heat rolling off of it. “ That feels so nice…” She unequipped her staff and held her hands out, rubbing them together over the fire. If anyone was going to take her up on her offer to spend a day playing in the snow, it wouldn’t be long until they arrived. Artemisia waited by the fire, her blonde tail swishing back and forth in excitement. She hoped her list of Fun in the Snow activities would be put to good use but so long as everyone had fun, she was content with the day. --- Notes: Open to EVERYONE who wants to join! Artemisia is hosting a social get together in the snow with fun in the snow activities. I have some things planned but it's an Open so if you wanna go your own way, please do. There's a lake, the fire pit and rocks to sit on, and the small Inn. Also, lots and lots of snow! I'm going to tag a bunch of people but you can join even if you are not tagged. Please invite your friends! “I’m bored, let’s kill some more stuff.”
“Cant even if I wanted too, still waiting for my mana too recharge”
“Just use a potion.”
“I’m not going too spend my starting gold on potions, I almost have enough for a new grimoire.”
“You shouldn’t have picked two melee weapons, you can’t handle being hit.”
“Why do you think I chose the cavalier subclass, if they can’t catch me, they can’t hit me.”
The two voices continued too argue as they navigated the constantly snow covered fields of. While there are two voices, only one adventurer could be seen. Cloaked in a robe that covers most of his body including his head, minus his eyes, he continues talking as if too another adventurer, even though there is no one too be seen. What can be seen is a small furred animal, sitting on his shoulder. The animal is clearly not natural, as the crystal embedded into its forehead makes it clear what it is. This animal is a carbuncle, a cute little animal that normally belongs too summoners. It isn’t until the adventure stops speaking does the second voice ring out once again. As the second voice speaks, the carbuncle on the shoulder of the adventurer moves its mouth, making it clear that it is the source of the second voice.
“But if they do hit you, you’re dead.” The carbuncle spoke, playfully tapping on the head of the adventurer.
“That’s why I’m saving up for a grimoire, so then I have a weapon I can use at range just in case.” Replied the adventurer, trying his best too not smack his summon.
“Why are we out here anyway? I would prefer someplace a bit warmer.” The carbuncle complained.
“Some random girl was passing out random invites too some sort of party, I want too check it out, see if there’s anything too do.” The adventurer explained, pulling a paper invitation out of his robes. “Besides, grinding all day is boring and none of the people of the land have any quests for my level right now so it’s better than nothing.”
The carbuncle, unable too find anything too complain about in his explanation, imply grabs a lose corner of the robe, climbing inside of it for warmth minus his head, which he pokes out too see where they are going. Chuckling a bit, the adventurer pets his summon as he treks through the snow.
After about ten minutes of walking they finally make it too the frozen lake which the letter referred too. Upon getting close enough, they spot the fire and the girl which sat next too it. Thankful for the fact that their host had enough common sense too make a fire, they hurry along towards the fire pit. The carbuncle strait up jumps out of his summoner’s robes and runs towards the fire, almost rolling in the snow as he runs. The carbuncle arrives a few moments before his summoner and gets as close too the fire as he can, warming himself up from the cold. His summoner arrived momentarily, temporarily ignoring the fire in order too greet their host.
“Sorry about him, he can be a bit rude.” The adventurer spoke, bowing slightly and reaching out his hand too greet their host. “My name is Lyrith. Its good too see I haven’t arrived too early.”

As his breath passed over his chapped lips, Zyrune watched as it formed beautiful white clouds of vapor as he trudged along the snow covered path. Around him cold winds pushed and pulled at him and he couldn't help but frown as his unique attire didn't quite cover him very much, as it was more so designed for hot weather than the cold kind. The unfortunate druid hadn't managed to get away for the winter ball, not that he had been invited and thus hadn't yet explored the snow biome of the Unfounded Kingdom as of yet. However rumours had spread throughout his sources that something was planned for this evening and he intended to be a part of it, whether they wished him to or not. He couldn't help but remember how little snow Ireland received each winter but when it did have snow and it stuck to the ground, he and his sister would make the most out of it. Snowball fights, snow men, two bright red noses, puffy cheeks and hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows. He could almost see her smiling in front of him as he walked. He was surprised that he had lasted a year in this world of unknowns. Part of him wished he hadn't had enjoyed some it as much as he had. Sighing he shivered and clutched his abdomen, he never liked the cold outside of Endertales anyway, it was mainly his sister that made it pleasant and even then he would have restricted it to board games in front of an open fire with hot chocolate to match. According to the information he had managed to persuade his lander 'friend' who worked in a popular Tavern in Londinium, the lake was the meeting place. He hated referring to the handsome blonde as just a friend, feeling it demoted what they really were, but then again nothing had actually happened, just some harmless flirting and since it was the only romantic thing to happen to the druid in his year here, he was going to assume they were on the verge of maybe becoming something more sometime in the future if they continued on the same path they were on. Shivering some more, the druid trudged along for quite some time before coming to a beautiful dancing pool of light. Zyrune's eyes widened and he ran towards it, almost desperate for any extra heat it would provide. He cursed himself many times since entering this frozen wasteland that he hadn't chosen a fire spell. Rubbing his hands together he approached the warm pool of light until he spotted two individuals. Slowing his pace, he readied his staff as a precaution just in case the players happened to want to fight, though realistically he wasn't in any shape for combat. "Do you mind? I'm frrrr," The Druid managed before shivering some more. "Freezing here..."
Slowing his pace to a slow walk, he eyed to two cautiously. They didn't seem like player killers, but then again, no one ever did.

The snow crunched lightly underneath his boot, as Hiro began to make his way to a place where he was to meet up with a large number of people, and to have a bit of fun in the snow. He turned his gaze upward, his hands shoved in his coat pockets to keep them warm. The snow was gently drifting downwards, in large clumps of soft fluff. One made its way to his nose, which he chuckled and let melt on his face. The droplet soon rolled off his smiling face, and made its way to the ground. The path he traveled on looked to have been frequented by a lot of people, even though this area was fairly new to the adventurers. It was much like Sarum in the fact that it had only been opened up recently to them, and it took a bit of doing to get the place known. But, from what he could tell, this place was more than worth coming up to see. If anything, it was the invitation that he had received that would cause him to come up here, anyways. Also, the thought of hanging out and meeting new people, as well as getting better acquainted with those whom he already knew. What was there not to like about this event?
Hiro found himself standing atop a small hill, overlooking the lake that was in question. The frozen lake where the festivities were going to be held around. A smile formed on his face once again, looking down at the lake and all the snow-covered trees that surrounded it. Making his way down the path once again, he saw a small fire begin to light up, and a certain blonde fox tail warming herself up next to it. His heart jumped a little bit at the site, but decided not to break out in a mad dash after seeing her. His smile only grew wider, and his face got a little redder, not just from the cool, crisp air around him. Walking down the slope, he thought about how he hadn't been here in Snowdonia quite yet, and how lovely it looked. Not a patch of grass to be seen at all. It was something that Hiro had very rarely seen back in the other world, since he lived with his family back in England, since he lived in the more land locked part of England. Perhaps that would be something he would go and do. Go find where his house would have been normally, and scope out what was there now. Maybe he wouldn't go alone, or he might head there himself. He wasn't very sure at all. But, it would be something to check out.
Now that he was down on the same level as the person he was looking at before, he noticed that there were a few others making their way towards the fire. Light always attracted more people, in the strangest yet most welcoming way. Hiro adjusted the black trench coat he had on, as a gust of wind picked up just a bit. He watched the fire shift just a bit, noticing how the wind was a bit stronger over near where he was. Putting his hand back into his coat pockets, he walked up near the fire, just a bit to the side of @sugarygiggles. Giving a nod to all everybody, Hiro began. "How's it going, everybody?" Taking another second to look up into the sky, he watched the snow fall for a moment. "Kinda chilly out today, don't you think?" His attention returned to the small group that had gathered, a grin on his face. "Pleasure to meet you all. Name's Hiro, and I look forward to having some fun today." His attention then rested on Artemisia, whom he had just recently begun a relationship with. His face brightened up a little bit, thinking about it all, but wouldn't do anything to make anybody else feel awkward about being around them. He'd play around like normally today, if only for the sake of inviting everybody else to join in on the fun. The last thing he wanted to have happen was make people feel weird or left out, just because of one or two people. It hurt to be in a situation like that, so he'd let everybody who showed up feel welcome. Most definitely, lyrith and Zyrune seemed like they wanted to have some fun. So, Hiro bowed to the two, making his entrance complete. Time for some fun!

For the first time since the Catastrophe, Lunar was smiling very much as he arrived at Snowdonia. Ever since he and his brother passed through the dangerous Miasma that he heard about to travel Avon as part of their level training, he never expected for this field to snow all day, much to his delight. Although he might not say the same with Solar as he was still busy trying to warm up due to him not able to get used to snow days, which he respected his decision as he didn't like him to suffer just by hanging out with him and throwing snowballs. As for Lunar, he was okay with snow since his outfit has a scarf and there's a fire pit in case he's very cold. Other than that, since he's going to play by himself, he decided that making a snowman should a good start. Well, until Solar get used to the cold eventually. But just before he can enjoy the snow, he noticed some people are already at the fire pit, which they are currently in a conversation. Lunar knew it would be rude to interrupt, but he needed somehow to talk to other than his brother for today, otherwise we might get lonely again, which he hated. But it was easier said than done as he was still shy in this world as well, yet it won't stop him from introducing himself to some new faces as he turned to the group and said, "Um... Hi there. Don't mind me, I-I'm just warming up so I can play in the snow." Upon he saw the group's appearances, Lunar became even more nervous as not only he was still 13 years old and they might be older than him, but some of them intimidated him, worried that they are player killers or "PKers" as his brother put it, which caused him to rubbed his gloved hands together for warmth as a way to eliminate his fears. She didn’t have to wait by the fire alone for long. Within a few minutes, a man she had never met before approached her. He had some sort of creature with him, which gravitated towards the heat of the fire as soon as it was near enough. Artemisia smiled down at the tiny thing and then turned to the Adventurer who had joined her. He greeted her and introduced himself as Lyrith. The blonde fox tail tipped her head to the side as she regarded him. His face was almost entirely covered by a thick piece of cloth. “ Hello!” She said after a moment, deciding it didn't matter, she didn't feel threatened by him. “ I’m Artemisia,” She reached out and shook the hand that was offered to her, her warm hands squeezing his much cooler ones. “ I’m glad you've joined me out here, there should be others arriving soon. We’re going to have a lot of fun today!” She smiled widely at him, her green eyes cheerful. With barely even enough time to finish greeting Lyrith, Artemisia heard the hesitant footsteps of another approaching them. She released her first guests hand and turned towards the newest arrival. He seemed unsure of them, as if he had had bad experiences with other players in the past. Artemisia opened her arms wide to show she had no weapons equipped, her child-like face displaying nothing except for welcome. “ Yes, please, join us!” She stepped aside slightly, leaving him a clear path to the fire. “ No one here will hurt you and if they try, they’ll have to deal with me!” She puffed out her small chest as if she would actually look threatening with her wide green eyes and giant blonde pig tails. She giggled and relaxed, hoping he would join them and get warm. “ I’m Artemisia,” She re-introduced herself, in case he hadn't been close enough when she spoke her name to Lyrith before. Just as she was wondering if she should offer snacks or a snow game first, a very familiar person stepped up next to her. A feeling of happiness rushed over her as he spoke and she turned to look at him, her eyes wide. “ I’m so glad you decided to come, Hiro.” Only just prior to this snowy vacation, they had admitted their attraction to each other and decided to enter into a relationship. She had to resist the urge to throw her arms around his neck… she was the host today, so she needed to remain focused on all of her guests, not just her boyfriend. As if right on cue to distract her from her gnawing desire to touch the high leveled man beside her, a third person arrived, making a total of four by the fire now. Artemisia turned to him, hearing the stutter in his nervous voice. As she turned, her fox tail flicked up and brushed across Hiro’s side. Even if she had to focus on the others, a little passive flirting wouldn’t hurt anyone. Her blonde tail swished back and forth a few times. The angle she was at would make it difficult for the others to see what she was doing, although she expected the target of her flirtation probably had quite the interesting expression. It was unfortunate she couldn't see it herself. “ Don’t be nervous, Lunar,” She could tell he was young, truly young, unlike her. Artemisia appeared young but was truly in her twenties. “Please meet Hiro, Lyrith, Zyrune, and myself, Artemisia.” She had peeked at Zyrune’s name, even though he had never officially given it to her. She pointed to each in turn as she spoke their names. “ All are welcome at my fire,” She brushed her tail against Hiro once more and then stepped away from the group. Once she was a few feet away, she leaned over, her back to the group, and began pulling snow together into a ball. Once she had compacted a decent sized snowball, she straightened her body and spun around to look at the group of boys again. “ Shall we get started then?” She bounced the snowball gently between her hands, looking devilishly at the three in front of her. “ No offensive spells, that’s cheating and we don’t want to actually hurt anyone, understand?” She spoke this very clearly, making this an important rule. “ I’ll give you, hm, let’s see…” She thought for a moment, holding the snowball in one hand. “ Let’s say five minutes. Prepare a defense and strategy and as many snowballs as you can in that time. Ready or not, snowballs will be coming your way after that,” She lifted her arm, as if she were going to throw the snowball she was holding. “Of course, you’re free to attack anyone, even me, it’s a total battle royale here today! You must stay here in the open area by the lake and any defense you use must be created by you in some way.” She locked eyes with each of them, “ No time limit but if you get too cold or tired of taking snowballs to the face, the fire is a safe area, so please retreat to here. The winner is the one who can last the longest. I have a special treat for whoever wins, of course…” She smiled, keeping the prize to herself for now. “ One last thing, anyone who shows up late is an instant target for the entire group, so keep an eye out and make sure to pelt them with as many as you can, just to welcome them to the party.” She hoped this mismatched group would enjoy themselves. Her green eyes drifted back to Hiro, the temptation over whelming. She hurled the snowball directly at him, aiming for the face she thought was so adorable. She giggled and spun around, not waiting to see if it hit, “ What are you all waiting for? The clocks ticking on your five minutes!” She yelled over her shoulder as she scooted off to go and find her own perfect place to ambush the others. --- Notes: So, Artemisia has started a friendly snowball fight. We're going to treat "5 minutes" as ONE ROUND of posting. So, in your next posts, prepare yourself! There's no time limit on how long this lasts, so long as it's fun for everyone. Please allow yourself to be hit by snowballs, we can't dodge 'em all! (You can dodge some~). If you're late to the party, please join us still! PM me if you have any questions about how this game works, but it's very free form, I just want everyone to have fun. Words: 1012 Tags: Hirosame, Lunar, Zyrune, lyrith

“Come on, I have a plan.” Lyrith spoke, turning too the carbuncle laying by the fire, rousing it from its pleasant relaxing.
“Wait, a plan for what?” The summon whined, curling up into a ball. “Snowball fight, now get too scouting, we are going too need a place with deep snow.” Lyrith explained, scooping up the small furry summon, much too its displeasure, and placing it on his back as he sprinted off into the distance. After wasting about two minutes running he finally found a deeper pile of snow than usual and began digging, with the help of his summon. He had explained his plan on the way and its time too put it into motion.
As soon as a decent pit was formed, lyrith switched from digging too building, using the snow that had been dug out of the hole he started forming a curved wall over the pit. He consistently checked his back too make sure no one was directly watching him. When he was sure no one was looking, he escaped behind the wall and started construction from the inside, forming a complete dome around himself. thanks too the snow, he was able too build up a thick layer quite easily, and he just kept building it up, as his summon dug a tunnel too the outside and started piling up snow himself, making sure the snow looked mostly natural and blended into the snow field around it. The final step was too simply cut out a tiny hole so that lyrith could see outside. He intentionally made it so that it looked directly at the fire. With preparations done, he decides too spend the rest of his time making snowballs.
“So, now that we have this built, now what?” The carbuncle asked, curling up inside of his summoner’s robes.
“Well, the best choice right now would be too wait it out.” Lyrith explained, petting his summon.
“That’s boring.” The carbuncle complained.”
“Yep, but it’s effective.”

Hp: 100% Mp:100%Nodding in response, the druid smiled as he warmed himself against the heat of the fire. The girl who greeted him immediately set him mind at ease, she was blonde with beautiful green eyes, short in stature but she was confident in the way she spoke. He watched the two converse with avid curiosity, it became apparent that they didn't really know each other, so he felt somewhat at ease already. It was always a positive when he came across adventurers like this. He had run into so many player killers doing the past year, he was beginning to wonder if any adventurer outside Londinium was still civil. Within minutes of his arrival, others seemed to find the lakeside fire with ease. Usually he would have felt uneasy and overwhelmed but the blonde Artemisa made everyone feel at easy, she must have had the courtesan subclass and at a high level the druid figured. Smiling as he warmed himself, he introduced himself to those around him before Artemisa seemed to slip away somewhat. He watched her form a ball of snow with her hands before explaining the rules. The druid's shocked expression must have shown as she tossed the ball towards Hiro. He couldn't help but laugh but immediately regretted it as a snowball was thrown in his direction. Barely ducking his head in time, the druid spun around and made off towards a relatively more snow covered area than the rest of the snow covered area. Using his staff as he ran to collect snow on the end of it, Zyrune tossed the snow into his free hand before letting it loose towards the masked adventurer Lyrith was that his name? He smirked as he did so, though he doubted it would hit him. Taking a breath, Zyrune let the cold air fill his lungs before breathing out a quick breeze. The cold air against his exposed abdomen caused him to shiver a little as it slid against his body. He wondered for a moment if everyone had gone insane but shrugging his shoulders, he gathered up some more snow into a large pile. The druid managed to dodge one snowball only to wince as another slapped his bare skin. Shivering, he couldn't help but laugh. He grinned as he aimed his staff below him. "Arbor Phalanx!" The staff lit up and the ground shook beneath him. Under the snowy covered ground sprung a large mass of green. Zyrune quickly held on as he and a large quantity of snow was lifted into the air, away from attackers atop a leafy cloud. When the tree stopped growing Zyrune had a good birds eye view of the field. Quickly he set about prepping the snow balls, before glancing down at the field below. He hesitated briefly before throwing the odd one down at an unaware passer by. Sorano wasn’t quite a fan of cold temperatures, or snow in general. The fact that she was standing in a location that was snowing pretty much year round was quite strange, she had ventured to Snowdonia a few days before, to attend some form of ball she heard of, only to decide against it hours before, she was never a fan of balls either. Although, through spending her time at this snowy wonderland, she eventually became used to it, slightly, as long as she didn’t venture too far away from the warmth that was inside a nearby inn. Double checking the information left on the invitation she received, the female began to make her way to the location listed, a frozen lake that she recalled spotting a few days ago. While her basic armour consisted of long sleeves, it was far from enough to protect her from the elements, as if the cool air just ignored the leather armour she wore. Well of course, it provided zero ice resistance, she would have to remember to obtain armour that does that. By the time she made it to the lake, she had somewhat gotten used to the cold, although she greatly wanted to stand in front of a fire or something. By chance, she spotted a fire just near the lake, as well as a couple of others, she assumed that it was the get together that was mentioned in the invitation. Before she made it to the fire, a sudden snowball whacked her straight in the face as she walked, leaving her in a rather stunned state for a few moments, surprised by the sudden snowball. Of course, this meant war now. She didn’t know who threw the snowball, yet she was going to have to prepare to avoid anymore, or at least try to. Wiping the snow away from her face, she practically dove down onto the ground, she quickly made a kind of wall to shield herself against attacks, as quickly as she could. Of course, since she only spent a minute on the shield, it was probably going to take a couple of good hits to knock it down, she was going to have to reinforce it. Then again, it was only temporary, she would build it up later. Now, she had to prepare a collection of snowballs to attack with. [Word count: 393 words. Hiro's eyes lit up as @sugarygiggles had given him a warm welcome, and a smile spread across his face as another new person also joined the party. Hiro also nodded to the newcomer, the same smile there. "Welcome to our little party, Lunar. Don't be shy, come on over and warm up!" Hiro motioned with his arms for Lunar to come by the fire. "Name's Hiro. Pleasure to meet you." With the introduction finished, Hiro felt a little flick at his side, as Artemisia's tail lashed at him a little bit. Looking over sharply, then at the blonde haired woman who now had her back to him, Hiro resisted the urge to chase right after her, and lift her up in a great big hug. But, she was busy with some other things, so he decided against it. Instead, he gave her a look of half-happiness, and half-revenge. He turned his attention back to Lunar, Zyrune, and lyrith once again, only to feel that same cheeky tail flick across him again, as she had moved back to the group once more. He didn't react quite as surprised and shocked as he did last time, though he still smiled a bit and looked over at the fox tail through the corner of his eye. He was going to get his revenge, for sure.
Hiro raised his eyebrow for a moment, once his girlfriend spoke of a snowball fight. A childish grin soon found its way onto his face, as he brought his hands to his hips, listening to her explain. Hiro nodded a little as she mentioned how offensive spells would only make things more painful for everybody. Since snow had no damage indicator, and snowballs therefore had none as well, it didn't really matter how hard Hiro threw the snowball, or even if he had some kind of strength put behind the throw at all. Opening up his menu, Hiro selected the level slider, and decreased his level down to 10, for the sake of this event. The Agility stat Hiro had as a monk, being second only to Assassins, would have been far too high for this event to be any fun. As such, his level decreased, his Agility stat decreased to equalize, and a bunch of snow very carefully found its way into his face, as he was finalizing the selection. Having only a second to close his eyes beforehand, he wiped the snow away, and his gaze returned to the female standing nearby with her back to them. As she ran off, Hiro smirked once again, and nodded. He'd get his revenge, but he'll play fair for now. For now, Hiro dashed in the direction opposite her.
Taking a large number of paces before stopping in one spot, Hiro found a large pile of snow. Jumping up and into the air, he activated Tiger Echo Fist to crash down into the snow, and build up a large mass of the snow around him in a circle. He immediately began to forge a wall around himself, once the snow had settled again, leveling it out as best as he could. Taking some snow from the back and placing it onto the top of the makeshift curved wall, he fashioned it in the way that one would see a medieval castle wall, with sections of wall standing up and others not standing up as much. The wall encircled him about 180 degrees, with snow sloping down on the sides, making it a full 240 degree wall, with the standing part being the 180 mentioned beforehand. Hiro then began to form one clump of snow into a ball, then activated the Mechanic skill Quality Control to help him fabricate exact replicas of the same snowball, with nearly identical proportions. Once he had a large number of snowballs built up and ready to be used, Hiro set them all down nearby himself, within easy reaching distance, and began to look out through one of the spaces in the wall. He wanted to look around and see the other people and how they were coming along with their own walls.
His attention was very quickly drawn away when he saw that there was yet another newcomer, joining the party. From this distance he couldn't tell who exactly they were, but that it was most certainly a girl, and a redheaded one at that. Hiro had heard Artemisia mention someone like that before, calling them sorano or something of that nature. But what he noticed first was the fact that this girl had already been pelted by a snowball, just as she had arrived. Feeling a little bad at the fact, he decided to go ahead and just leave them be for now. There was still time before Hiro would begin to launch all the snowballs that he had crafted, so he decided to look over and see what the others were going to be doing for the time being. He noticed how Lyrith and Zyrune were already constructing their own bases of operation, however he noticed that Zyrune was the only one to have thrown a snowball already. That was probably the one that had hit the newcomer known as Sorano, but he decided to go against pointing that out. Instead, Hiro was about to fully complete his revenge on his girlfriend. Standing up and pointing over at her, Hiro activated the first Idol skill, Showtime! A bright spotlight began to shine down on the fox tail, shining on her alone. "Target sighted!" Hiro shouted out, for everybody to hear. The spotlight would likely last the duration of the rest of this five-minute preparation period, then go away. But, that just meant that she wouldn't be able to hide anywhere, for a little while. Hiro grinned, and winked over at her. This is how he shall show his affection.

After he got used to the people around him, Lunar smiled in joy that they will have an ordinary snowball fight, no offensive spells or anything. This was good for him since he loved throwing snowballs to his brother as an ambush back in the day. He even grinned that he might try to ambush Solar after this. For now, he wasted no time to start preparing for the snowball fight. Due to his gloves and his experience, he didn't even used Accel Dance to create some snowballs in a flash as he often create snowballs alone and threw them at the tree as target practice during snow days back in the real world. Sure, he has no friends to play with him, but it was still relaxing for him And in 2 minutes, Lunar managed to create dozens of snowballs, much to his glee. "Okay, it's time for a fort!" He then grabbed as many snow as he can and shaped them into a hill that was big enough for him to hide and defend. And as an added protection, he created two more hills to block his sides and another hill to protect his back. Sure, it was enough to block their attacks, but he liked being pelted by snowballs more than dodging them, as he knew that avoiding them would be no fun to a snowball fight. And just as he was done with the preparations, he noticed a bright light not far from him, which somehow pointed to a man that greeted him earlier. "Huh? Looks like he really wants to kick this up a notch."He thought before he noticed a new guest, who was an Assassin like him appeared that was somehow pelted by snowballs of the Druid. "And he really wants to start the fight without waiting for 5 minutes. I guess he's really pumped up as well. Man, I wished Solar is here to play." But remembering his brother's weakness to the cold, he doubt that would happen. But it was okay for Lunar, as he wanted to play a snowball fight so bad after he arrived. But remembered that the 5 minutes are almost up, Lunar prepared his snowballs and aimed to whatever direction he will threw as he was about to start the snowball fight with a bang, not literally of course. Snowdonia. Lily would have wanted to come if she was in the game, Pawzyrus thought. He gave a depressed sigh as his feet crunched softly against the level of snow.
"C'mon Antonius, lets go outside and play in the snow!" She loved the snow, the cold, everything about winter. Pawzyrus's most recent memory of winter depressed him the most. "Not this time, Lily. im busy", Antonius said. Lil jumped into his room and went beside him staring at his computer screen. "Elder Tale? sounds cool! Aww and your name is pawzyrus! thats cu-" Antonius cut her off "Did i say you could come in? if i say i don't want to go, that means leave me alone. Can't you play by yourself?" Antonius growled, he didnt mean it, though. He wouldve wanted to go out there with her, but one of his friends died 2 nights ago when he accidently stepped onto a thinly frozen lake, and drowned. In front of Antonius, after they planned to throw a suprise party for his family the following day. The funeral was going to be held a week from then, and he couldnt bear seeing anyone, wallowing in his own pity and sadness. " we could... we-" Antonius interrupted her again, this time standing up and grabbing her roughly on the shoulder He yelled this time, "I said NO! now get out now!" he threw her out of his room and onto the ground. "Grow up already, can't you see i want nothing to do with you?!" before he could slam the door, he saw tears well in her eyes, her happy hopes for a wonderful time crushed... He heard her crying, but no one came to comfort her. Mom and dad were stuck on the side of a road from the ice and snow after going out and buying groceries. Antonius sat in his chair, and after her crying stopped, looked out he window. she wasn't in the front, not playing, not making angels, she wasnt outside at all. A pang of guilt resounded in his heart, and instead of apologizing, sat there. just, sat there.
Lily loved snow angels, she said they made her feel safe, and like they were her own secret friends. she would carve smileys on their faces with her finger and talk, whisper, and share secrets with them.
The next day appeared, and the snow layed high. the parents still weren't home, nothing could break the ice. Antonius went to Lily's room, and asked "Hey... Do you want to go outside in the snow?"
She gave him a cold stare, "Grow up." He closed the door, not wanting her to see him cry. he simply walked back into is room, and slept for the day.
Lily never asked again to play outside in the snow with him that winter.
Pawzyrus was in tears, noticing he was sitting by the frozen lake. He couldn't will himself to stop crying, or to stand up. "I'm sorry, lily. Why... would i say that to you... Lily, please forgive me..." He continued to sit and cry, not realizing he was tracing a small snow angel next to him with his finger...

Artemisia dashed off as fast as her little legs could carry her through the thick snow covering. Even though she herself had set the time limit, five minutes was definitely not a long time. But, unlike the others, she had no intention of setting up any type of fort or defense for herself. Once she was a fair distance from the fire and the rest of the group, Artemisia flopped stomach first down into a snow pile, letting her small body disappear half way into the snow. She wiggled her body, shifting herself down deeper into the cold, fluffy snow. She had a plan of her own but for now, she needed to take a moment to spy on her targets. Some of them were quicker to act, immediately setting about putting their plans in motion. She just barely caught sight of Lyrith as he put the finishing touches on his own defense. He had almost entirely domed himself in. Artemisia smiled, she would let him sit in his snow castle for now… there were other, much easier targets to be addressed. One such target, who she had hoped would show, had just stumbled into the snow covered clearing. After taking a moment to prepare a single snowball, the green eyed girl sucked in a deep breath. “ SO-RA-NO!” Artemisia called out the name of her fellow guild mate, her hands cupped over her mouth to increase the distance the sound would travel. No sooner had the name left her mouth and the blonde fox tail toggled on her ability Spell Walk. She had been very clear that there were to be no attacks… but she had not ruled out magic entirely. A moving target was certainly going to be more interesting than a stationary one, after all. All of a sudden the immediate area around the petite girl began to shine and glow. Artemisia quickly glanced back and forth, looking for the source. It seemed to be shining only on her. It only took a moment for her eyes to lock on the form of Hiro, who was smiling at her. When their eyes met, he winked and his grin only increased. Oh, is that how it’s going to be…? She stuck her tongue out at him and made a mental note to get him back later, he was too far away to do anything about it now. Well, now she definitely had no choice but to move from her location. Anyone who hadn’t noticed where she had slipped off to certainly would have now. Artemisia jumped up and shook the snow off her body. Some of it stuck to her giant pigtails, almost like little flecks of glitter reflecting on her blonde hair from Hiro’s spotlight. Her normal movement speed was lowered due to Spell Walk being toggled on but she still dashed as quickly as she was able to, moving to her left. The spotlight did not follow her, fortunately enough. “ Blink!” She cast one of her spells, an ability which would randomly teleport her a few feet away from her current location. It was not an exact science and she was more than surprised when she found herself standing beside a tree. “ Huh?” She looked up, around, and then up again. There was definitely a tree in the middle of the battlefield. It was a squat tree, about the size of a person. However, it was still taller than the vertically challenged sorceress. Artemisia tipped her head to the side, one eyebrow arched up in curiosity. She jumped up, trying to make herself tall enough to see over the top branches but she was unable to see above it or get close enough to attempt to climb it. As she bounced up and down, someone on the field took the opportunity to pelt her in the face with a wet, cold ball of snow. “ Ack!” Artemisia wiped the snow off her face, blinking a few times in surprise. There seemed to be no direct source of the attack. Her fox tail twitched and she quickly leaned over and made a few snowballs, launching them off blindly in all directions in hopes that someone would be punished for attacking her. She kept one snowball in her hand, prepared to launch a quick throw if necessary. “ Alright then, time to take this a little more seriously…” Artemisia backed away a few feet from the tree and cast Blink again. The cool down was short but she needed to be careful of her mana consumption. The random chance of Blink was apparently not in line with Artemisia’s determination to take things more seriously. Her little feet touched down exactly where her new boyfriend had decided to barricade himself. Having landed on uneven ground, Artemisia’s body wobbled and quickly toppled. She had not been prepared for such an unsteady landing. Half of the wall Hiro had built collapsed as Artemisia tumbled over, landing directly on top of the monk. The snowball which she had created a few minutes ago and had held onto this entire time smashed into his face. “ O-Oh Hiro, I’m so sorry…!” She looked up at him, giggling quietly. She hadn't planned to join him during the snowball fight but now that she was here… well, she hadn't said anything about teams being disallowed, after all. “ Team up with me?” One of her fox ear twitched as she stared up at him, her eyes wide and seemingly innocent. She still needed to get him back for earlier but for now, this was to her advantage. ---- Notes: And the snowball fight continues with Artemisia approaching Hiro for a truce. Will there be any other teams forming to take them on?! Will the mysterious snowball thrower appear again? My, oh my, so many possibilities! As the female prepared to make a mass of snowballs, she heard someone calling her name. Not even thinking of who it was, as well as forgetting the fact that she was in the middle of a snowball war, her head popped up from above the mound of snow, like a gopher. Sorano seemed to jump a little a few moments later, upon realization of the stupid thing she had just did, shooting back down behind the mound of snow, poking her head up a few moments later to strengthen it a little bit with some more snow. Returning to the snowballs, one had suddenly decided to fly straight to her, hitting the back of her head. Sighing in frustration, she shook her head several times, removing the snow from her hair, before spinning around to throw a snowball at the mystery assailant, yet the recently thrown snowball seemed to land on the snowy ground a good couple of metres away, the spherical object breaking upon impact. Of course, her target was nowhere to be seen! With a defence built and an army of snowballs created, her eyes scanned the area in front of her. She could see an Assassin, like herself, as well as a Monk, Summoner and a Samurai- who was away from the snowball fight, sitting next to the lake, she decided not to attack the Samurai just yet, unsure if he was participating or not. As well as those four, she saw a single familiar face, Artemisia, who, now that she thought of it, was probably the one who called out her name, but she would worry about that later, now she had to choose a target. A thought came to mind, did one of the four, who she knew were participating in the snowball fight, throw the first snowball at her? Frowning a little, she recalled the direction the first snowball came from, although she was startled by it originally, did it come from… Above? Lifting her head up a little, she discovered the existence of the tree a little ways from her small mound of snow. It wasn’t very large, why didn’t she notice that sooner?! A slight smirk forming, she grabbed another snowball, quickly standing up to hurl the snowball over the tree, hoping to hit any possible individuals using it as a kind of hiding spot. Of course, she could tell from where she was, that tree was taller than she was, if someone was hiding in it, she wouldn’t see. After the snowball was launched, she ducked back down behind the snow mound, trying to decide on her next target. [Word count: 439 words. Hp:100 Mp:90The druid still perched admist the mass of green well hidden from the many adventurers around him, scanned the area waiting for another victim to wander close enough for him to throw a snowball their way. He was enjoying himself, it was like he had for a moment forgotten the past year, his worries and just enjoyed the present. Zyrune rubbed his hands together as he carefully kept an eye on the cool down for his "Arbor Phalax" skill as once that had refreshed his tree would naturally despawn. However before anyone could an area just outside of his reach lit up like a stage spotlight, it glowed above a figure. It took longer than the druid would have liked to admit before he recognised the surprised individual within it. Inside the tall pillar of sparkling light stood a very surprised Artemisia, he knew it was her from her attire and hairstyle. He grinned as he understood that no one was taking it easy on her despite her starting all of this and bringing a variety of players together. Carefully the druid knelt against the thick wooden branches as he reached for whatever snow had travelled upwards with him when he cast the tree and quickly began to form circular snowballs. Zyrune surprised himself at how quickly the snow seemed to come together and how beautiful and well crafted his snowballs seemed to be, then again he guessed it was partially if not all down to his subclass ability being that of an Artist. Shivering the druid slowly picked up one of the many that lay at his feet and waited, snowball in hand for someone to walk by when there was a flash and a snowball may or may not have been dropped. “Ack!”
The voice caused the druid's heart to jump as he gazed down to see Artemisia beneath him covered in the cold white stuff. Quickly he inhaled a sharp breath as he watched the sorcerer beneath him gaze around to see who had hit her. He was amazed that she hadn't already spotted him, but then again maybe the lack of light worked in his advantage. Although it would have been easy to hit her with a snowball, it would have given away his hiding spot and he would have unleashed the wrath of the sorcerer beneath him too, besides he didn't want to spoil the image he held in his mind of her, that of finally meeting an honest and friendly player who didn't want to take advantage of him which was a nice change contrasted with the players he normally met with, his mind immediately flashed back to his first month when he had been attacked by a weird masked character. The druid immediately regretted not attacking the girl as she seemed to decide that the snowball must have came from somewhere and Zyrune's tree was more than capable cover for her to begin her assualt in every direction the girl could manage the snowball. Then in an instant she was gone, the druid guessed she had used a spell, possibly blink maybe, but he couldn't be sure. But not before someone nearby spotted the sorcerer and decided to throw a snowball her way, however the big white ball of snow instead of hitting Artemisia like they had intended, shot straight past where the woman had stood into the tree Zyrune stood perched on. In a instant the tree was gone and the druid fell with a yell into the layers of snow beneath him along with whatever snowballs he had crafted while on top of it. For a moment everything was snow. It covered him completely, blinding him with white. It filled every thing, his eyes, ears and mouth, he could feel it's icy cold embrace around his body. Shivering he couldn't help but shake himself free of the white stuff before laughing. For the first time in quite some time, the druid's worries seemed to drift away. The snow seemed to sparkle as he laughed, he was at peace, perhaps the first time in forever he wasn't worried about his future here, his mind and body weary from the past year of hard training seemed to be instantly soothed by the snowfight. . However his thoughts or lack of were interrupted by movement, nearby he saw shapes amid the snow. Smirking he tossed whatever snowballs his way towards the figures, knowing all too well that more would be tossed his way as result. Hp:100 Mp:90

Being trigger-happy with the snowballs, Lunar carelessly threw them in random directions. And as expected, no one was hit by a single snowball he threw. And before he can wondered why, a snowball quickly hit behind him, which he was startled about it as looked around to his attacker, but he saw nothing. "What the? Where this snowball came from?" But back to the battle at hand, it wasn't a big deal for him to miss since it was just a game, but he wondered why his snowballs missed. Then it came to him, they are hiding behind their snow-made shields and hills and even that Monk used an Idol skill to make an opening so he can hit them. But then, it hit him. The Artemisia girl said from earlier not to use offensive spells, not other skills. So why he was hiding behind the hill anyway? Nevertheless, he still needed the hill, but he needed a way to make an opening as well. As he created eight to ten more snowballs, he then used most of his outdoor voice to shout, "HEY, I'M OVER HERE!!! COME AND GET ME!!!" It was his favorite trick back then. He shouted to Solar to made him think he accidentally created an opening, only for him to cover himself in snow and when his brother came in behind his shelter, he popped out of his cover when his back was turned and hit him with many snowballs as he can. But instead of him being covered in snow as his hill disguise, he decided to use a skill that his brother chose for him as shouted once more, "COME ON, ARE YOU GUYS CHICKEN OR SOMETHING? BWAK, BWAK!" After that, he opened his skill menu after he was done making more snowballs and "clicked" on one of the skills. "Hiding Entry." He whispered, which he became invisible completely. Sure, his provoke was a little out of character for him, but he really loved snowball battles and win or lose, he wanted to make this one very interesting.
