[attr="class","top"]you win the battle now but I will return the fire
| Hawk found himself wondering the Great Woods, looking for a good stream to began his favorite past time Fishing. He brought along 3 wooden planks so he could craft him self some fishing spears. After wondering the woods he came a across a shallow enough stream to begin fishing. He then began to set up camp, making a fire pit some places to take seat around it.
He then went to gather some wood and sharp branches so he would be able to cook his fish hopefully since it was a basic ingredient. He then set up a area to for crafting and then began to get comfy as he got ready to do his craft. He peeled off his armor and set his sword next to the rock he we was going to sit on and set the wood planks next to him. He grabbed his wood shaver and he was now ready to start crafting.
This should be simple enough...
Crafting Thread Begins--------
As the sun began to beat down on Hawk he decided to remove his shirt to to give himself some air and cool off as he began to start working on these spears. He grabbed his wood shaver and began to shave down the first plank. This took a few minutes as wood shaving fell to the ground he began to sweat as the sun beat down his bare skin. He finished it quickly the first of three Balsa-Wood Stick of Fish Smiting was complete. Hawk thought this was an odd name for the spear but he did not invent and let it slide. It was only level one so it only could last for this trip. It was a slender spear with a sharp tie it could have been smother but it was not to bad for his first craft of the item. He wiped the sweat off his face and brushed the wood shaving off his pants.
Damn its hot..
He then went to the stream and splashed some water on his face Hawk then began working on the second Balsa-Wood Stick of Fish Smiting, This time it went a little faster despite getting a splinter in his hand the craft went easy enough. The spear was in better shape then the first looked identicle though a slender wooden spear with a sharp tip, this one was also a level 1. He made this one in case he failed and broke his first Balsa-Wood Stick of Fish Smiting.
Hawk started on the third Balsa-Wood Stick of Fish Smiting, this one was for who ever came by to enjoy the trip with him. The processes speed was about the same as he started to shave down the plank into a well made Balsa-Wood Stick of Fish Smiting. This one was obviouse the best of the three just like the other a slender wood spear with a sharp tip level 1 also, Hawk was satisfied with his craft and had two extra spears in case some travelers came by and wanted to join him.
15 x 1 x 3= total 45 gold cost
Word Count; 344
End of Crafting-------
Hawk was happy that he finished his three spears and hoped that some travelers may join him for this tip. He was hot and sweaty and dying to get in the stream. Hawk picked up the three spears and placed two them in the ground using their blunt ends to stand them selves. Hawk slowly walked into the river the cool water rise up to his body eventually stopped around under his knee. This sensation felt great to Hawk after working in the sun for close to an hour crafting those spears it was about time he began to enjoy himself.
Hawk moved slowly through the clear water the noise of the stream feeling his ears as he focused on the water spear in hand focusing on the water trying to spot his prey.Hawk grinned as he spotted a small fish, he moved slowly and watched the fish move down the stream right before it was out range Hawk made a quick move striking at the fish. It was disappointing that he missed his target but was happy to have a challenge. He completely forgot that he was stuck in a game this fishing felt so real to him. Time began to past slowly as Hawk searched for his next target.
This is going to take awhile hope somebody will join, hopefully a cook..

» This was probably a bad idea, but Piper was going to do it anyways. She was standing in the river, swimsuit on and legs spread wide as she looked down into the shallow water, right hand primed for striking. She was attempting to train her reflexes by reenacting a scene that she saw once in a cartoon; the idea was to snatch a fish from the river with your bare hands. Piper breathed in deeply, channeling the spirit of a crossdresser getting down to business to defeat the Huns as she awaited an opportunity.
Surprisingly, Piper did not need to wait too long for such an opportunity to arise. She saw the flash of a river trout swimming along between her legs; she reached her hand in the water immediately, but it swam away before Piper could even lay a finger on it. She cursed her hand for failing her and vowed to do better next time.
The next fish to come along took a little while longer, and Piper had grown bored of waiting; she was not prepared for it and, despite her ironclad vow, failed to even get her hand wet before the trout swam away. This time, Piper kept her eyes trained on the river, sure to not let the next one pass her by.
The monk's dedication was rewarded; as a third fish swam to her, she managed to grab onto its tail and pull it out of the river. "Aha! I've got you now!" Piper exclaimed with a glee that was promptly ended as the fish, held up too close to Piper's face, flailed and slapped the nearly successful fisher in the nose. She was knocked back in surprise and the fish was thrown aside, miraculously landing in the river and swimming away as if nothing had even happened. Piper, however, was not so lucky: she also ended up in the river, lying on her back and completely soaked.
Piper was slow to get up as she rubbed her shoulders in pain. She chose to claim partial success in her venture. As she was getting up, she noticed another figure further along down the riverside; it was a man, a Samurai with a small collection of fishing spears. Piper really hoped he hadn't seen all that.

HP: 100%MP: 100% Monk - Tailor - Beserker | | "Mellllloooooow..."
"Yeah?"
"It's hoooooooott!"
[ Flashback ]
On this day the sun was most unpleasant; showing no mercy with it's rays of heat that baked the inhabitants of the planet below. What was the sun thinking? Making this day so hot for them. It was almost as if the sun had specifically targeted the citizens of Londinium and increased the heat as if it were all on some air conditioner, of course, that wasn't really possible; was it? There'd not been any reports of cloudy weather or rain in sight for the next few days, that leading Mellow and Megani to their current situation; working up more than just a sweat under this unbearable heat.
"Melllooooowww.."
"Yeah?"
"Let's go to a pool or something"!
The eccentric duo trudged down the streets of London like everyone else had on this day; unable to find a lick of shade for miles onward. The thought of a pool sounded heavenly right now but such things didn't exist in this world - or so Mellow thought. "Wait a moment.." doing one of his legendary track halts, he contemplated the thought of something just as cold if not colder than a pool "Why don't we go visit a lake"? Megani's eyes perked up, wiping the intense amount of sweat from her forehead "A lake? Where would be find one around here?" Mellow placed his hand on his mask, imitating the "rubbing chin" action while deep in thought "I believe Hawk spoke to me once of a lake in Windsor Greatwood. He told me he likes to fish there often, hell, I bet he's fishing there right now." Maliciously, Megani rubbed her hands together; knowing all of the things she'd get to see if Hawk was at the lake. "Oh but there's one rule of course" her heart sank in "What is that?" He frowned from behind the mask "You can't be host".
"AWWEE!"
[At Hawk's Location]
"Heheheheh..oh he's taking his shirt off..heheheheheheheh..yes, Hawk.. throw that spear--OW.." In order to stop Megani from her extremely violating and generally awkward heavy breathing, Mellow gave a few flicks to his forehead setting his eyes on a young monk girl; watching her fail to catch a fish after a great deal of tries. "HAH!" He laughed out as loud as he could; hoping, just hoping that she heard him; eyes now shifting to Hawk. "Yo, next chance you get man, could you put a shirt on? Megani is about to go crazy here and I really can't be asked to deal with her shit". Now turning to the soaked monk girl, Mellow prepared to slap his knee as his joke was initiated "Awe you'll be fine, don't be such a SOUR TROUT". Badum tss. As he slapped his knee at the horribly made joke, Megani shook her head from left to right; disappointed at how embarrassing Mellow had become.
"Could you please not do this in front of Hawk and the Monk Girl?"
Hey, hey, I do what I want.
Says who?
My body, my rules.

[ Oh Dear Gods ]
It was hot out. Much hotter than it should be allowed to be inside of a video game. But of course, this video game happened to be the current reality that they all lived in, so what can you do? Am I right? Anyways. To the story at hand here. Andie, (Andromeda shortened), was going to go meditate by the river. Why? Because all the best meditation is done in peaceful environments! And she might go for a swim after wards, when her mind is calm and all is right with the world. Smiling happily, she walked through the paths to find the opening to the river.
The sun was shining, the birds were singing, Andromeda had never felt more in touch with her Shaman side. It was incredible. She felt on top of the world! Her hair was shiny, her skin was glowing, actually, her whole persona was glowing! She was just ecstatic to be around in that moment, so glad she stopped just existing and started actually living now.
This next part is filled with what can only be described by anime. Imagine this. A scene with a shirtless man trying to fish, another man talking to himself, and a soaking wet girl in a swimsuit right in the area that Andie had claimed to meditate in. Well I guess she can’t exactly claim it now, it’s been soiled by this memory. Anyways. The picture changes to strictly Andie, she’s still smiling, processing that her plans are now ruined. The background becomes colorful, happy looking, but dots are one by one horizontally filling the screen. When they make their way past Andie, her face begins to fill with an embarrassed red. It felt wrong to have seen any of that. All of that good stuff we were just talking about? Gone. Dead. Bye bye.
Slowly, she stepped backwards. “I-I,” she stammered, backing up more. She didn’t even finish the sentence. The space she was in quickly emptied, only to be replaced by the sweet scent of apricots and the petals of an apricot flower. Andie herself however, found herself up a tree, clinging to it for dear life, as if it could save her from the embarrassment of what just happened. ‘Gotta get out of here.’ She panicked in her mind. She could hardly stand small groups of three people. This was a group of four, five if Mellow counts as two people. That’s way out of her league. As she attempted quickly finding her way out of this situation, she quickly came to the conclusion that she was going to die like this.
“Death by group of people.” That’s a great way to die. Good job Andie. Shaking her head, she tapped on the tree nervously. ‘Hey, maybe they didn’t see me! This is a good time to be invisible.’ She slowly started to smile to herself. Maybe being invisible your whole life isn’t such a bad thing. That thought made her happy. Now she actually had something to show for her invisibility. Hiding from people that she’s supposed to be making friends with. Because she’s not pathetic at all. Her smile faded into disappointment as she looked over the side of the tree to survey the situation below.
There could be dangers down there. She tried convincing herself that hiding was a good thing. I’m just.. Keeping myself aware and protected. Yep. That’s it. Nothing retarded there. Not at all. She nodded to herself, only further convincing herself that hiding was indeed the smart thing to do in this situation, even though she knew she should have gone down there to speak with them, and make friends, or any of that other mushy stuff not shy people do. Like, greet them, and joke with them, or throw pies at them.

I will never let you fall
I'll stand up with you forever
I'll be there for you through it all
I will always protect you because I am your FATHER Walt was out and about on this hot day. This was a video game why couldn't they have normal weather instead of making it so overly hot. He was not happy though he wouldn't let the mere sun outshine him. No today was a day to be active and let what remained of his youth shine brightly while it still could. So going out in the forest he would begin to run around with no real destination while doing his favorite past time, singing to his hearts content the funky tunes of old. "Everybody was kung fu fightinnnn, those kicks as fast as a lightninnn, in fact it was a little bit frighteninnn, but they fought with expert timinnn!" He sung loudly while he ran through the woods swinging his fists and kicks at random dead branches on his way doing his own bit of kung fu fighting. That was when Walt would stop in his tracks at the smell of apricots in the air. This smell was familiar the nit hit him it was the smell that shamen girl gave off when ever she disappeared. Looking around he saw a group of people and remembered the poor girl was deathly shy of people and so she must have been frightened off by this large a group of people. "The poor dear" Walt thought to himself as he thought up something encouraging to say to her wherever she may be. The only thing he could come up with off the top of his head was "Fight on girl" he said with his Japanese trying to impersonate a american accent that many loved. He then smiled his cheesy smile as his teeth reflected the light making them shine and randomly pointed a finger somewhere hoping it was at her. As luck would have it he was pointing directly at her up in the tree though he wouldn't know. He then ran off to the river and jumped right in yelling "CANNON BALL!" as he then cannon balled into the water scaring away the fish in the immediate area. Instantly he could feel all that heat going away as the nice cool water went over his skin. Then he hit the bottom of the shallow river though by then he had slowed down alot and so it didn't hurt.- word count:387 @tag MADE BY VEL OF GS

Lets Play Elder Tales. Hp: 100 Mp:100 ▼ Tagged: Hawk @arachnofied Mellow Andromeda Dentium Wc: 698 NOTES: Unless this is set in the past, I'm role playing at my current level. Okay guys. | The druid hummed to himself as he walked. Sometimes it was nice to just leave Londinium and explore, now that he was of an adequate level, he felt safe in himself to explore without the constant need to be on the look out for player killers. His eyes wandered as he walked. Recent event had left him unable to think of what to do next. It had definitely been a long journey to get where he was now level wise that was and he was so grateful to those around him that he had met but even more grateful to the House Of Crowns guild. They had educated him on so many aspects of this new life that he didn't know where to start and it was partially due to their guidance that he had leveled up so fast as they seemed to know the best areas and monster to level up against.
The sun over head didn't seem to really want to let up and for once the druid was ever grateful for his rather revealing Arabian outfit. It was one of the rare days in Elder Tale when he did not wish for more layers and as the heat wrapped around his skin, he couldn't help but wonder if he would tan in this world. He had never quite managed to tan before, than again as a gamer he had been rather a shut in. Despite this, he had a smile on his face as moved singing along to himself.
"Give me give me give me give me a break! omoidashitemiru nda ano koro no jibun Let me let me let me let me try! nani kara mo torawarenai mirai"
The song that he had been singing while he walked was the ending to one of his favorite animes, one which he missed dearly since Elder Tales became a reality. If not for the noise they made, the druid might never have changed direction and headed their way with a curious expression planted on their face. Apparently there was some rather strange gathering around a pretty large stream. As he watched the water sparkle and reflect the suns rays beautiful, well it was until someone started to shout and jump straight into the water resulting a splash and the candy floss pink haired half-alv couldn't help but chuckle, it had been awhile since he had met anyone as carefree as this and he knew he needed some peace especially after the whole affair with Tadashi and Jacoben.
Shaking his head of the thoughts, he continued to smile at least that way until he noticed a figure up ahead that made every hair on the druid's neck stand on edge. Mellow. Instantly the druid was brought back to his first month with Elder tales when he had fought the man. ~"HEEEERE'S MELLOW!"~ The voice echoed in his head as if he had just spoken. Right jab to the face, a left jab to the stomach, an uppercut to the chin. The man had been brutal and strong as a combo of brutal punches in every section of his upper body. A total of eight punches landed on him that day.Hysterically laughing through it all, the masked man seemed to revile in the druid's pain.
Swallowing hard as his heart raced against his chest, the druid felt a wave of dread swept over him, that was until he noticed the man's level. They hadn't come across each other since that day, the day that Saber had swooped in and kill him and during that fight they had both been level one, however the druid had a significant amount of levels on him so if he did attack, he doubted that he would stand a chance against Zyrune, that was if the druid could keep his calm and attack wisely.
Taking a deep breath, he tried to shake the dread from his body as he tore his gaze away from man. Hopefully the man was over it by now, it had been several months. If he was indeed over it, then perhaps Zyrune could enjoy the water, however he waited for the masked man to make the first move.

[attr="class","top"]you win the battle now but I will return the fire
| Hawk was kind of surprised about the group that had assembled around. He did not know how he missed her but there was a little girl up stream from him. She was wearing a swim and looked like she was trying to catch fish with her bare hands. He paused and watched her attempts to catch a fish. She failed the first two tries on the third though Hawk could not help but laugh and cover his mouth, sticking his spear into the ground under the water. He thought he laughed a little to loud as the girl turned and looked towards.
He waved to her and motioned her to join him. That is when Hawk heard the obnoxious yell of his fearless guild leader Mellow or was it Megani who ever knew with him. He still could not believe he joined Nemesis with it dis-functional leader. The decision he made is one that he would stick with. He did not regret that decision, even though Mellow was dis-functional he was his dis-functional leader. Things became clear as Mellow announced that Megani was ooing over him due to his sexy shirtless self. This did not bother Hawk (even though it came from a man) he knew Megani had no chance of getting into his pants. Hawk was only interest were ladies. Having said that he heard the yell of very familiar voice.
"CANNON BALL!!" The water splashed all over Hawk not only soaking his hair and body, but also scaring his fish away. Hawks eyes burned with a fire and a typical anime vain bulged on his forehead. He then clenched his fist it began to shake with rage. He waited for Dentuim to emerge as he did Hawk upper cut him yelling "YOU FOOL, DO NOT SCARE MY FISH!!" Hawk upper cut Dentuim so hard that he flew back to shore and pointed at him "IF YOU WANT TO SWIM DO IT DOWN STREAM!" He then out a loud sigh and caught his breath.
Hawk then grabbed his spear and pointed to the shore again. "YO ANDROMEDA DO NOT BE SHY WERE ALL FRIENDS HERE!!" Saying this Hawk made a stereotypical evil anime face of him smiling with sharpened teeth and dark aurora appearing around his head. He soon stopped this though as he saw somebody he never seen before approaching them, well not them but Mellow particularly. "YO GUILD LEADER LOOK BEHIND YOU SOMEBODY WANTS TO CHAT!". With this said how began to focus on his goal catching a fish.
He had to refocus on the water once again since that full Dentuim disturbed the fish he had to search harder, he began to move slowly looking focusing. He then saw his pray a smaller salmon. He let out a quick breath and stroke with his spear. He had nailed his target and rose it of the water. "YES I GOT ONE!!" Hawk cheered and thought to him self.
Only need 10 more.....

» Piper sighed as a large congregation appeared around the river; it seemed her shenanigans had been most THOROUGHLY witnessed. She hoped that these were not the sort of people to run a joke into the ground. She began drying herself off with the towel she had brought before being promptly splashed and soaked again by the older man's cannonball. So now she was still wet, but she had also gotten her towel wet. Everything was going so well, Piper could hardly believe it.
She flopped over on her back a few feet away from the river. She gave herself a minute to bemoan her misfortune before standing up and stretching. As she stretched her back, she noticed a girl sitting in a bush. Piper thought to herself, could this be... an amBUSH? No, puns aside, the girl seemed more scared of Piper than Piper could ever be scared of her; she seemed timid. Piper considered that she may have been experiencing some social anxiety.
Piper remembered social anxiety. It sucked. Remembering how a certain Guardian had assisted Piper in opening up, she figured she would try to do the same for this Shaman. Piper attempted to brush herself off and look presentable as she approached the girl in the bush.
"Hey there! I'm Piper. It looks like you're pretty new to this game, judging by your level; I'm a newbie myself, so maybe we should hang out some? Kick down some doors, fight some monsters, generally learn the ropes together as some sort of cool gal squad." That was... less than cool, Piper thought, but the Monk hoped it would work. It was only after her spiel that Piper realized something important. "Oh gosh, I haven't gotten your name yet," Piper rubbed the back of her head and blushed, trying to play off her own fumbling.

HP: 100%MP: 100% Monk - Tailor - Beserker | | You know the term "it's funny until it happens to you?", yeah, that's not funny; whoever made that shit needs jump in a lake and drown in it. Mellow'd been called out by the cleric; said cleric telling him to turn around as someone appeared to want to chat; nothing harmless right? Ha ha ha WRONG! As he turned his head to see the conversation stater, thoughts of the event that drove him to insanity rapidly flashed in his mind. The words, the sounds, the voices, the faces. Each and every one of them pierced through good memories and replaced them with visions of him dying and worst of all, visions of him afterwards. He couldn't stand to think of the past, it's why he had no qualms with dying; he wanted to forget his memories faster than the game could make him. After all he'd done to keep himself at least moderately calm, after all he'd done to forget those moments that haunted him so, someone always had to come and neep that up, didn't they?
"Druid.."
Mellow inched closer; his eyes focused solely on the druid. The druid may not have been able to see Mellow's eyes clearly, but his aggressive aura wasn't one that could exactly be missed; even from the most angry of men. Shoving his hands into his pockets, he continued to inch closer until they'd been face to face; or in this case mask to face. He simply looked him over. His cheeks, his nose, his forehead, his eyebrows, his eyes, he saw it all. He wanted to study his movements closely, making sure not to miss anything, not even the sweat dropping from his chin to the ground; he'd catch it if necessary. "Looks like I didn't have to search for you after all.. your pretty little ass came right to me.." Placing his hands on Zyrune's shoulders, gripping them tightly as he looked him dead in the face; his message loud and clear "You know.. I still owe you one for that shit you pulled back there.." He looked back at his family enjoying themselves yet still paying attention to his movements, ready to call to arms if necessary..except Hawk..yeah Hawk won't give a shit "But that's neither here nor there". He patted the man's shoulders, turning around and shoving his hands back in his jacket pockets before nodding in the direction of the crowd "Hawk's grabbing some grub and Noir's on the way to cook it. Grab yourself a seat and vibe out or whatever it is a druid does these days".
Mellow wanted nothing more than to grab Zyrune by the collar and start punching; even if they did have a large level gap. Zyrune owed him a fight for letting Saber get the slip on em and he was sure Zyrune prepared for a match just as soon as he'd seen him; but his family was with him now, he wasn't about to bring his personal vendetta up with his family, he followed through with his promises..unlike a certain fox-masked kin he'd known. The day would come when Mellow would have his fun punching every single person that stepped in his path but that time was not now, now, Mellow was enjoying some quality time with his family and piper..wait..Piper?
"HEY!"
He was like a blur of light, zooming through the scene like that. Before Piper knew it, Mellow'd appear before her; his arms stretched out in both directions. "HALT! WHO GOES NEAR MY KID SISTER"?! He wasn't about to let Piper pull the moves on his Andie; not without filling the proper paperwork first! "Piper, was it? It's nice to meet you! My name is Mellow, the guild leader of Nemesis. If you could just excuse me for a second." He turned to the tree, breathing in and out before RAPIDLY SHAKING THE TREE BACK AND FORTH! "GET. OUT. OF. THAT. TREE. After finishing, he turned to face Piper once more; reaching into his pocket and grabbing a few pieces of folded paper. "This here is the flirtation agreement form, the potential relationship agreement form, and the potential friendship agreement form." Handing her the pieces of paper, he chuckled, giving her a pen shortly after and returning to the crowd "You may not feel that way about here but you can't be too cautious, ya know? Ha ha, have fun you crazy kids"! After officially blocking any chance of possible flirtation, Mellow approached the gang once more; hopping up and down in the hopes that this would somehow speed Noir's arrival time up by a few seconds or so.
"Where the hell is our chef?! I'm hungry as shit you know!"
Hey..why wasn't I in this post?..
Oh right, and during this all, Megani was busy doing nothing of particular interest inside of Mellow's head. Ooooooo spooky ghosties! Who knew?!

❀❀❀❀ Secret love, my escape, Andromeda SHAMAN - APOTHECARY - PHARMACIST WORD COUNT:622
It began with bright lights on her face. With an annoyed expression, she looked down to find her former 'partner' from the first quest to have been the culprit of the bright lights. Dentium -- or Walt. His name was Walt, right? Whatever! The Samurai-Bard guy! There was a moment of annoyance, before she realized he didn't actually know where she was, and jumped into the river. She clung tighter to the trunk of the tree. This tree can be my friend. Who needs anyone else? "Idiot.." she mumbled
"YO ANDROMEDA NO NEED TO BE SHY WE'RE ALL FRIENDS HERE!" Hawk had yelled. She wanted to yell back, she wanted to find the words to do it, she even opened her mouth to try, however, her mouth wouldn't move and her face heated up once again as it thought about doing something embarrassing like that. Shying up once again, she hid behind the tree, trying to think of an escape plan. I need to get out of here, like now please..
She didn't even recognize the next one. Her face got all red, and her eyes stared at the stranger in absolute terror as if the female was a serial killer about to shoot her brains out. "I-uh.. I-I.." she froze up, trying to think of a response. How does one communicate? "I-I-I.." she continued repeating.
Mellow 'saved' her then, from having to communicate in that moment at least. He started saying something about papers, and then all of a sudden there was papers, and then he was getting all cocky like, and then there was an earthquake or something. Oh wait, nope, Mellow was violently shaking a fully grown tree. Andie tried holding on for dear life, but found herself unable and inevitably fell to the ground with a harsh SMACK against the ground.
"Ow.." she said, tears instinctively welling up in her eyes from the pain. It wasn't a super hard fall, but there was a little damage done from the fall. She glanced at her HP level dropping and frowned while blinking out the tears, putting on a 'tough' face. Her 'tough' face looked like what you would see if a little puppy tried to play serious, but couldn't quite manage. "I just wanted to meditate.." she whined, finding herself now surrounded in a group of people. This caused a large amount of frustration to build up inside of her as she simply gave up and started flailing on the ground, like a lost fish. Because what do you do when you're frustrated? Get on the ground and flail like a fish. Yep. That's a thing.
After flailing for a few seconds or so, she happened to notice the druid in the distance. He was a much higher level than the rest of them, but she'd noticed there was a tension between him and Mellow when she was hiding in the tree before he got distracted by playing over protective big brother for Andie. She wanted to say hi, to invite the man over to speak with them, and she thought she had made the moves to do so, but instead found herself cowering behind Mellow, watching the man in fear.
Mellow was at least a familiar face, this man was not, and he was a much higher level, and not in the guild. He could be a PKer, and what could the group of them do? Even Piper seemed fine, if Mellow didn't seem threatened by her. This man however? She didn't know him, but she knew not to trust people right off the bat, not in this world or any world. Should push come to shove, she could always Apricot Leap away to safety. She knew she stood zero chance against any of these people should they attack.

I will never let you fall
I'll stand up with you forever
I'll be there for you through it all
I will always protect you because I am your FATHER Walt was enjoying his time in the water when all of a sudden there was a yelling and then a fist to his chin which sent him soaring through the air. Obviously somebody wasn't chill with his graceful entrence to the river. Oh well this would not ruin the moment. Taking the time to think while he soared through the air he regained some control and did a backflip out of it or tried to anyways. Instead he just fell in a bush and lost a tiny bit of HP. Getting up and stepping out of the bush Walt noticed a bunch of things. His partner from that quest was surrounded and now hiding behind mellow but from what did she hide? That was when he noticed a druid of conciderably higher level just standing around. It seemed this person had put a bunch of people on guard though Walt saw nothing to fear from this guy. Wading across the river he went over to the guy and said "Nice to meet you i'm Walt the father of funk" in a nice voice with a smile making his teeth sparkle again. Lets Play Elder Tales. Hp: 100 Mp:100 ▼ | As someone brought the druid's presence to the attention of the monk, the druid couldn't help but glared at the Samurai. As the monk turned slowly in his direction, every hair on the half-alv's body stood on edge, his heart pound against his chest as he stood still watching the masked man. AS the monk drew closer, he felt his stomach twist with sudden discomfort, fear kicking in as he thought about what might happen. He could do nothing but stare as the monk approached him, closer and closer. Run. Move. JUST GO. TURN. WHY AREN'T YOU MOVING? Zyrune's mind raced as his body refused to act. MOVE YOU IDIOT. EQUIP YOUR STAFF, DO SOMETHING!!!!!!
His mind was numb screaming as his body to move as the masked being came closer eventually he so close, the druid swore he could even hear the man breath. The druid could hear the blood coursing through the veins in his ears as he stared at his attacker all that time ago. Swallowing he couldn't move, swallowed by fear. "Looks like I didn't have to search for you after all.. your pretty little ass came right to me.." The druid gasped slightly, his face blushing slightly but more so out of fear than anything else. Despite everything the druid soared in levels against him and yet his mind rendered all of that useless, it refused to let him act, to let him respond, to defend to attack, to do something, to do anything. Swallowing he tensed as he felt the man's hand grip his shoulder. This is it, he is gonna hit you. JUST MOVE IDIOT!
"You know.. I still owe you one for that shit you pulled back there.." Swallowing, the half alv's mouth had run dry, he heart beat against his chest in an unnatural fashion. He was surprised as panicked as he was, his face hardly showed the dread he felt well up inside him. He watched the man turn and gaze towards the group. "But that's neither here nor there" The druid couldn't understand how people had banded around this thug, how they had decided he was a good person to hang around with. This was the guy who had assaulted him during his first month, this was the guy who choose to defend a bunch of thugs rather than an innocent adventurer, this was the guy the honorable Saber had struck down with great regret because he failed to see reason. Zyrune could still hear Mellow's scream in his ears as Saber's blade cut through him.
Inhaling sharply the druid scanned the group. Mellow was level 15, there was a shaman level 12, two samurai, one was level 1, the other was twelve and a second monk. He couldn't understand what they had in common with him. Then it struck him, the higher level samurai had referred to the monk as a guild master. The druid's eyes shot open with fear. How could this thug create a guild, be allowed to create a guild was that why he hadn't attacked him yet? Was he waited for the guild to band together and gang up on the druid. Even if that was there plan, they would have a rough ride, Zyrune was several levels higher than them, any one of his attacks would do significant damage where as it would take the group twice as long to cause just as much. Not only that but the druid had two summons in his disposal, that put three on the druid's side verses their group.
But much to the druid's surprise the monk nor his 'friends' attacked. "Hawk's grabbing some grub and Noir's on the way to cook it. Grab yourself a seat and vibe out or whatever it is a druid does these days". The druid heard himself gasp as the monk turned away and let him be. The druid had been so shocked that he literally stood in shock for a moment or two unsure whether to use the time to leave while he could or perhaps use the lull in the fight to try and win the monk's trust and figure out how in the hell he had managed to create a guild.
Exhaling a long slow breath, he held his hand out before him where a patch of grass stood. His hand glow for a second before the ground erupted in vines, they twisted before him around one another before a large flower appeared on top of it. Slowly petal by petal the flower opened and a beautiful female flower bodied figure emerged. She smiled as she soaked in the rays of the sun. It had been some time since he had summoned the girl, last time she had been but a toddler sized sprite, but now that he was rising in levels, he guessed the skill was too. He wanted her for company and to keep an eye on the group.
River that sat before him was the perfect type of thing to practice his bubble respiration on, whether on himself or on one of the group. It wasn't until he heard the man spoke that he almost turned a bright shade of red. The man was soaking wet presumably from swimming around and his hair, his body, he was definitely a bear type of guy, older and mature looking, his body hair almost made the druid's heart swoon. Shaking his head the half-alv couldn't believe that he was even thinking like that with the monk in ear shot.
The father of funk? Was this guy for real? Zyrune felt himself inwardly cringe as he nodded in his direction. "Zyrune, it's nice to meet you too." He took a breath trying to still his heart that still hadn't quite recovered from Mellow's actions.

[attr="class","top"]you win the battle now but I will return the fire
| Hawk did not know what was going on only that one; his fishing trip was getting super popular, two; he was not catching many fish due to all the yelling and lack of focus and three he was really hoping to get back to his saki and enjoy the fun too. He could tell there was a commotion over and the fact that mellow was shaking a tree made hawk kind fo drift into some solo thought
Why is this weirdo our leader i know he is strong but damn so weird. Also why Dentuim acting chubby with that male druid is he in the closet or something hmmm hmmm.... Makes sense to me. Also why is Andromeda acting like a panzy she should enjoy her self were all family right plus she has another girl hitting on her that just screams a good time.....
Hawk then shook his head realizing that he was day dreaming and there were still goals to accomplish. First had to come a little bit peace so he could focus on what he was doing. He only had captured three more fish after his first so he only totalled in four fish this would be plenty but with a large group he was guessing he would at least eight more fish. He was wanting to do the old fashion way and enjoy his time but with the amount of people coming he needed to hurry. With this in thought he clutched his spear for a second and then used "arrow revolver" lifting the other two spears from their resting place.
He got a cocky smile as he looked for his pray spotting a group of three he sent two of his floating spears at them and lunged for the third he had successfully captured all three of them now he only needed 5 more fish. Hawk was satisfied with this thought as gathered all the fish from his inventory and placed them on the shore "Who ever is our cook begin grilling these baby's up, there is about seven here I need to catch a few more so everyone can eat their fill." with the end of that announcement he splashed some water on his body trying to fight off the heat. He was happy he that took off his shirt and beanie but as he looked around he forgot where he had place them...
Eh they will turn up somewhere hope no monster or person stole them....
With that thought he moved back into the center of the stream gather his other two spears and began searching for his next target and allowing arrow revolver get off of cool down so he could use it again. He waited patiently looking for his next target waiting waiting waiting spotted. He grinned as he paused for a second and then thrust-ed. Striking strait through the fish.
Dang i am getting good at this shizz only need four more hopefully he does not get anymore unexpected interruption... |

» "Wait, flirting? Hold on, I'm not-" Piper was cut off by the sudden barrage of registration forms thrust upon her. Piper was not even sure where the man with the fox mask could have kept all of this paperwork; it was certainly too much to have reasonably stowed on his body. Maybe he had a handy haversack? Do they have handy haversacks in this game? Piper pondered the thought of near-infinite storage space as she scanned over the questions listed on the "flirtation agreement form".
"Hey, hold the phone, why do you need to know my measurements!?" Piper glanced back up at Mellow but saw that he had already left the area, going to join the rest of the group over by the riverside. The shaman, meanwhile (named Andromeda according to the forms Piper was filling out), had been left by the base of the tree she had fallen out of and was flailing like a dying fish while sobbing grossly. Piper thought about patting Andromeda on the head and trying to comfort her, but considering the girl's reaction to her before that would probably have the opposite effect. Piper sighed and continued working on the forms.
Piper rubbed her temples together when she did finally complete one of the forms and, upon putting it aside, the ink suddenly vanished. "Yep, that's pretty much what I figured would happen," thought Piper. It was obvious to the young woman that Mellow had given Piper these forms merely as an attempt to deter her from speaking with Andromeda again; Piper had decided to fill them out anyways to see how Mellow would respond to that but he had apparently prepared for that potentiality.
Piper looked at Andromeda, standing and curled up behind Mellow, with eyes of pity. Mellow was unhealthy for Andromeda, Piper could tell; he was controlling and demanding, and Piper doubted she was the only one he had attempted to isolate the girl from. It was no wonder she was so timid; with a guy like him around she would never be able to form a meaningful relationship at all. This was all far beyond Piper's expertise, for sure.

| | ...Ke ke ke...
Within the mind of Mellow had been well-- Mellow, ke ke keing and ho ho hoing to his hearts content. "I can't believe she's actually filling that out.." He would look back from time to time to see the female monk continuing to fill the un-fillable, to attempt to complete the uncompleted; to save that which should not be saved! Piper would continue to sit, confused to his methods and eventually confirming his madness, but it mattered not. She would sit there, endlessly filling out those forms until she gave up and decided to leave Andromeda alone. He didn't exactly feel bad about making her do it, but he didn't want her opinion of him to somehow tarnish the others; so he explained just a fragment of method behind his madness.
"I'm sure you see me as a very.. defensive person, monk" he placed his hand on top of the shaman, who'd now wrapped around and hid behind him "but there's a reason I'm this way with her". He hadn't entirely planned on letting the others know his discovery, he'd planned on telling Andromeda later on when he got the chance to be with her alone, but now was as good of a time as any. "You see, in the outside world, the world we've all come from, I made a promise to a man. I told this man that I would protect her, keep her safe, make sure she's in good health until he returned." he looked down to Nicki, knowing his words would reach her as he gave her a smile behind the mask "Nicki, I haven't forgotten..and neither has he..he'll be here soon..you won't have to be alone anymore." he now immediately turned to the monk with a shrug "With that being said, I hope you don't hate me too much; I'm only doing my job. Then again, I don't really give a neep. Do what you want".
Returning to his activities, he watched as Hawk continued to fish, Zyrune stared longingly at his body, and Walt just kind of..well he did his own thing. Focusing back on the whole Zyrune thing, Mellow found it appropriate to commence hijinks and shenanigans; more than just a simple "initiation" into the group. "Hey hey hey, looks like you've got yourself a looker, eh Hawk?" Swiftly wrapping his arm around Zyrune, he held him tightly to make sure he couldn't escape "Ol Zyrune here can't seem to get his eyes off of your HOT STEAMING BOD! Oh ho ho ho ho ho" He unwrapped his arms and quickly scattered; pausing suddenly as his stomach grumbled. "Where is he?" He'd begun to grow a tad bit impatient with their chef, obviously doing more than just taking his time "WHERE IS NOIR"?! He wasn't sure if the assassin was ever going to show up, but when he did, he was going to either get a mouthful from Megani or get to cookin! Mellow was hungry and he hated waiting for his meals.
HEY! I WAS ONLY NOTED ONCE!

❀❀❀❀ Secret love, my escape, Andromeda SHAMAN - APOTHECARY - PHARMACIST WORD COUNT: 510
Well, now he went and did it. He just had to go and mention him, didn't he? Andie's eyes simply widened into a stare that was completely blank. He's.. here? Her wide eyed stare only seemed to continue to get wider, but she couldn't force out the words.
He's trapped in here, just like me?
There's a word you could say, that Andie's entire persona changed to, comfort. It was as if the worries that Andie had grown around Mellow, as if him taking care of her, as if him being that familiar stranger never mattered in the first place. She smiled lightly, knowing she had friends in the game. First Steel, now those two? Who else would she run into in this game world?
Maybe I.. Maybe I wasn't so invisible after all?
Her thoughts ran straight back to 'him'. She had thought, with it being this long, that she was never going to see him again, and for the first time in a very long time, thoughts of him clouded up her mind. She replayed Mellow's words. He'd even used her real name. She hadn't heard the name 'Nicki' since Steel recognized her.
She looked around the group, just to think about things.
Mellow; basically her older brother, leader of the guild she just joined, also friends with him. He's really the closest thing to family she's got, since she stopped considering hers a 'family'.
Megani; Mellow's other half. Andie always liked to think of them as two different souls, soul mates to be exact, trapped in one body. Imagine how cute they would be together? ;<
Hawk; the butthole that sent her and Walt against a crag cow seven levels higher than them. But, he was friendly enough. He had all the right intentions -- she hoped.
Walt; It was kind of nice to see actually, the world went to Hell, and nothing seems to bother him.
Piper; She seemed friendly enough, if not a bit clueless.
Zyrune; Mellow didn't seem threatened by him at all. No one did. Was it just Andie that was a tad frightened? It would seem like a rational explanation, considering she worried over every little thing.
With a sigh, and a small tint to her cheeks, Andie made her way to Piper. "I-I'm sorry." she stuttered, in her attempt to make a friend. "I-I'm Andromeda, everyone calls me Andie though." she nodded and gave her the best friendly smile she could muster in such a shy state.
She started playing with her fingers, a sign that she was really nervous, just talking to a stranger. Her left ring finger had found its way between her right index and thumb, being rolled around and played with by the two. It was a habit she had in the outside world as well. When ever she was nervous, her hands would meet somewhere in her abdomen area and that would happen. It's pretty silly, to be honest. Regardless, it was the number one telltale sign that Andie, or Nicki, was highly nervous and uncomfortable. coded by fudge of gs

I will always protect you because I am your FATHER Walt felt better knowing he probably made the Druid's time here less on edge or something like that. It seemed everyone was having a great time and Walt was getting kinda bored so he walked over to the rivers edge and took a seat with his feet dangling in the water. While sitting there he began to hum some funky tunes to himself while pondering life and such. He was thinking of his family that he missed dearly. He got thinking wondering what his wife and children would be doing right about now. If time in this game was anything like time in the real world they would probably be sitting down at the dinner table getting their grub on. He was thinking about Kina, she was a troubled child. 14 years old and rebellious as ever. She was a handful even for the funk masta though she did have her kawaii moments. A manly teardrop ran down his face and then fell off his nose landing in the water with the tiniest of a ripple. Being in this game he thought of family every night missing the people he had left behind. Word count i don't have a word counting thingy at the moment so i'm guessing a hundred or two. Lets Play Elder Tales. Hp: 100 Mp:100 ▼ |
As he slowly calmed himself by taking long slow deliberate breaths, letting the fresh air fill his lungs for a moment or two, the pink haired half-alv let the air out. Above the group the sky was a clear blue and cloudless. The sun showered the area in a golden illumination, pouring down warmth and wrapping around the druid's lean body. As rare as if was for the the half-alv to find peace during hot weather such as this, he could only stand and savor the feeling trying his best to ignore the ball of dread in the pit of his stomach after his close encounter with the monk known as Mellow.
As Zyrune let another soft breath pass over his lips, he couldn't help it as he gaze rested on the samurai. He wasn't wearing much and it didn't exactly leave much to the druid's delight. It wasn't light he was outright staring at the man, just appreciating a well toned body as the droplets of water cascading down his back or chest, the sun adding a perfectly timed sparkle or shine here and there and that well toned butt that rested just beneath the water's surface was something else too.
From the get go it was clear what the man was trying to, as he fired spear after spear into the water, retrieving some fish, dropping them on the rivers bank before repeating the process. It seemed as if the man was intent on catching the group's food himself and as Zyrune watched him work, he couldn't help but want to aid him, however any spells Zyrune might have cast might have upset Mellow, so he decided against it.
Painfully tearing his eyes from the man's body, he had a moment or two to see another monk, not Mellow sitting over by a tree filling out some kind of forms. The druid couldn't help but wonder if the woman was some kind of scribe or tracker, she seemed to be intent on filling the forms out, much to the the twisted Monk's pleasure. Although his face was covered, which seemed an odd thing to Zyrune as masked like that had always kind of scared him a little. But it was clear in the monk's body movements that he was happy about it, the young girl who seemed to cling to him also confused the druid.
Why would someone seek a twisted being like him for protection? The half alv pursed his lips as he turned his attention back towards his summon who was currently playing with a hat and shirt that she found laying around. It puzzled Zyrune that not only was that girl seeking Mellow for protection but also that he now had a guild of people following him. It had been a while since they had gone against one another but Zyrune was sure that the monk hadn't changed that much. His words moments before were proof of that, Zyrune was sure that his superior level and gear was the only reason the monk hadn't made a move on him. In fact the pink haired druid was sure that if the reverse had happened and Zyrune was the lower level, he was sure that the monk would have attacked him.
The monk's voice broke the druid's trained of though and his heart jumped as arms wrapped around his body pulling him close against another. For a second he didn't know who it was but then it was obvious. Mellow. The feeling of dead washed over the druid some more as he felt the man's arms hold him tight against his body, tighter than he would have liked, then again he would have liked not to have been pressed against the man's hard body at all. His hands although they didn't move from their position balled into fists. He felt the blood rush to the his face as the monk announced to the group at Zyrune's occasional glances of the Samurai's body.
He wanted to speak to deny it, but as his face turned red he felt the monk unwrap himself and slip away leaving the druid at a loss for both words and thoughts. Was this some kind of trick or did Mellow want the druid to attack him as a result, to tempt him into seeming like the enemy and Mellow the innocent bystander. Taking a deep breath he tried to still his heart before swallowing hard.
It was at this time that the druid noticed the samurai's clothes in a heap before him and his summon no where to be seen. Quickly casting his gaze around he breathed a sigh of relief as he watched the female plant hybrid offer a beautiful pink flower to the Shaman who had been curled up around Mellow. The druid furrowed his brow for a moment. It was very unlike his summon to be that kind, normally she was a snob of sorts looking down her green nose at everything and anything. The druid could even remember the time the summon had insulted the guardian Sophia's figure and called her fat for choosing chocolate instead of a salad. Puzzled the druid put the sudden mature change in her personality to the fact that Zyrune was a higher level now and as a result so was the summon skill, maybe he now had a tighter reign on his emotions or perhaps the summon was growing in age as he grew in level. She did look somewhat older come to think of it.
He took a few steps towards the girl careful of Mellow's presence, he was sure that the monk would react. He seemed so protective of the young girl and although it was odd to see, he seemed to prevent the form filling monk from approaching her and he seemed to know her, so the half-alv doubted that he would appreciate it if Zyrune got close to her.
Slipping his finger into his pocket, he withdrew a rune and played with it in his hands, both as a sign of nerves but also to give him something to do. Once he was sure his summon was okay, he might take a swim.
